On the eve of the seven-year mark for this account, let's address the biggest hate point about me: how I insist that people either ask before, come and say thanks, simply link to or credit this page when they share/repost the content.
Even if I manage to convince a handful of peopIe, I will continually have to argue and work with people on this because it's not inherent. For example, I come from an online community where, decades ago, we were shocked when we learned that Japanese artists were mad that some people had simply copied and pasted their fanart. It's obvious when you stop to put yourself in their shoes, but for a lot of people, it takes some personal effort to accept the realization that: "Oh okay, I see where you're coming from." In no way am I comparing fanart with most of my content, as artists deserve a ton more praise, but the concept of being grateful for where you got stuff and not simply saving and reposting stuff is the same. And guess what? People outside of that aforementioned community, and even probably newcomers to that community, are still sharing uncredited fanart. It's not inherent, I get it.
For almost seven years, I have posted twice daily, at least, and this requires quite a lot of budget, time, innovation and effort. And absolutely, the content comes from the band themselves, I'm not the photographer(s), the live show recorders, the interviewers, etc. However, you also wouldn't have that GIF, JPG, etc. if it wasn't for me. I do it to share the love, the passion. If I don't mention the source in my post, then it's either directly cited on the picture or the band has not mentioned the source either, like for memocas.
Also, each perpetrator thinks of themselves individually, but imagine my perspective too: it's not just one, but dozens of people who keep reposting my content to their own crowd of followers without any context. When you don't mention a source and just display new content out of nowhere, you are indeed claiming it as if you were the benefactor.
So, am I fighting for the "clout" or whatever? Well, maybe in the same capacity as those people are clearly attracted to. Whether we are or not, it's just about the principle behind the whole situation that reposting is not the proper way to show that you are grateful about something. Unless it came from a robot or some big corporation without feelings or humanity. If you don't wish to interact and ask permission or say thanks at all, let alone like or reblog on Tumblr, then the least you can do is to mention where you found stuff. To whom you owe the pleasure of having seen that content and being able to share it.
And it's so stupid because on Twitter, for example, you benefit from 280 characters now, plus a link gives a preview of the images that are on the landing site. There is zero excuse for not mentioning your source right there in the post where you repost an image (or screenshots of a translated interview, mindblowingly enough), in addition to whatever small comment you want to make regarding the content, instead of in a subsequent reply that nobody will bother to check.
A lot of people will still disagree on this and hate me, and that's fine. If you don't like me, then don't engage with what I share, because that's just hypocritical. This really shouldn't be that controversial, it's just that your feathers are temporarily ruffled. People added watermarks on their GIFs and scans etc. way before I did.
And the descent from "Please credit if you repost" to "Do not repost" came because people didn't do even that anyway. But if someone comes to ask me if they can nevertheless, I'm super likely to say 'yes'.
At the end of the day, I want to keep this blog positive, I want to foster a good environment to lift people's mood day by day. We have enough bullshit in our lives. I've heard of the Dir en grey community being toxic at probably more than one stage of its existence, but hopefully we can keep avoiding that.
As for me, I am eternally grateful to those who keep up with my apparently insufferable self.

January 2025 Update & 2024 Supporter Thank You
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hi everyone! December is over so it's time not just for the January update and thank you post, but also to thank everybody who supported Escher Girls in 2024!
This month has no major external site updates, but we have updated the site internal software which should hopefully fix some errors. We've also fixed the formatting in the way the site displays gifs and videos in previews in the tags, so there shouldn't be giant white spaces between each post.
This month I didn't have a lot of time to fix up old posts because I've been jumping from appointment to appointment for the health thing I mentioned before. But I was able to fix up a few posts.
Specifically, I restored this post of Kevin Nash's short-lived comic book, a panel of Gamora's butt sucking in her thong and also her entire body I guess?, this cover of Shanna: The She-Devil in a boobs and butt pose, Nikki Doyle being turned into a snake by a snake, and two really good fan-art/redraws of Nikki Doyle, one by Keskerist, and another by JustTheMiles. I also fixed up and sourced the Samurai Champloo bomb-boobs video from a very old post.
All restored/fixed posts have working images, videos, and animated gifs (a lot were broken or deleted by either Tumblr or during the move to the new site), and have added image descriptions for screenreaders, sources, and link to the corresponding cross-post on Tumblr and vice versa (except for the cases where Tumblr removed the post entirely either because the submitter deleted their blog/submission, or Tumblr's algorithm mistakenly tagged something as nudity, usually a solid coloured bodysuit, in those cases I've tried to find an archived version to link to). For very old Tumblr posts that don't allow image captions, I've linked the images to the image hosted on EscherGirls.com which does have image captions.
And now I want to give a big thank you to Escher Girls' Patreon subscribers for all of 2024 regardless of when you subscribed or for how long. I really appreciate all the help people give me to help keep the site up, pay for hosting and domain costs (which keep going up due to inflation v_v), and allow us to keep the site updated.
So thank you so so much to the following people for being 2024 Patreon subscribers:
Anne Adler Cat Mara CheerfulOptimistic Chris McKenzie Em Bardon First Time Trek Greg Sepelak Karrius Ken Trosaurus Kevin Carson Kim Wincen Leak  Manuel Dalton Mary Kuhner Max Schwarz Miriam Pody Morgan McEvoy randomisedmongoose Rebecca Breu Ringoko  Ryan Gerber Sam Mikes Sean Sea Who Used To Be Much More Annoying SpecialRandomCast  Thomas Thomas Key
And also special thank yous to JohnnyBob8 and PJ Evans for their donations through Ko-Fi in 2024!
And also a huge thank you to everybody in general who reads, submits, reblogs, comments, and otherwise interacts with the blog! Escher Girls' audience is truly great and I love seeing all of your responses to my posts and your captions!
Also, if anybody is on Fedi and wants to talk to me, I'm at https://urusai.social/@ami_angelwings.
Thank you so much and see you next month!
Ami
PS: As a reminder, we added a button that links to the Escher Girls Tumblr and to our RSS feed for those who want to follow that way. (For newbies, RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is basically a feed you can read using an RSS reader. Simply copy and paste https://eschergirls.com/rss.xml into an RSS reader and it will keep you up to date on Escher Girls!)
Make sure it is eschergirls.com and not eschergirls.tumblr.com, as that is Tumblr, and not the self-hosted site.
If you have any issues with the site or suggestions to improve it, please do not hesitate to contact me and let me know!
If you wish to support Escher Girls, you can subscribe to our Patreon at: https://www.patreon.com/ami_angelwings or donate through Ko-Fi at: https://ko-fi.com/amiangelwings.

how to install dashboard unfucker (for desktop)
hi i use desktop and i use the dashboard unfucker extension by dragongirlsnout and you should too because it's awesome. i don't know much about computers so it was intimidating to set up but ended up being really easy.
but first:
what is dashboard unfucker?
dashboard unfucker is an extention that makes being on tumblr bearable again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(ID: 2 screenshots of tumblr with urls/posts etc censored. the first is with the new layout, with labels on the left, the ad-free button, "check out these blogs," "explore all of tumblr," the radar, and no easy way to access your own blog. the second is with the extension enabled, the left hand side of the screen is empty, posts are wider, navigation icons are back at the top right, and the only thing on the right-hand side of the dash is the dashbaord unfucker and limit checker and tag replacer from xkit. end ID)
i got it for layout changes like these- the first is cramped and ugly and i feel like i'm on twitter. the second is warm and comfy and i can make my posts wider (i dont like all the empty space). (limit checker, tag replacer, and post color were done on xkit and palettes respectively, not unfucker, btw)
with the dashboard unfucker you can:
hide the following/blog subs/for you etc tabs
get rid of the changes/staff picks/etc carousel
hide recommended blogs and tags
add profile pics back to posts
hide the radar
hide the explore page
hide tumblr shop
hide user badges
highlight bots in ur activity feed
show who follows u in the activity feed
make posts wider/slimmer and move the dash posts position to the left/right
revert messages design (and make the messages box bigger)
revert activity feed to the old design
display vote counts on polls
show poll results without clicking (no more skewing polls or "see results"!!)
disable tumblr domains
add polls to reblogs
disable "post without tags?"
show ns.fw posts
and other things that i probably missed copying this from the settings!!
so how do you do it? it seems scary but it's easy actually. take my hand
(note: i did this on firefox and tested it on chrome, i'm not familiar with other browsers, also use firefox if at all possible fuck chrome)
how to install dashboard unfucker
step 1: install either tampermonkey, tampermonkey beta, greasemonkey, or violentmonkey (if you don't already have it)
note: im using tampermonkey as an example because it's what i use
step 2a: go to firefox extensions/chrome web store/your browser's equivalent
step 2b: look up "tampermonkey" and click "add to firefox/chrome/whatever" and confirm
step 2c: you're done! yayyy
step 2: click this link. look under "installation" where it says "Click on unfucker.user.js to install or update". and click that
Tumblr media
(ID: a screenshot of the tampermonkey install page, showing dashboard unfucker v5.7.8 installation information, the source code, and the install/cancel button. end ID)
(it should open in a new tab and look like this)
step 3: click install! (when i did this it didn't look like much happened and i got scared. dont get scared take my hand)
step 4: go to www.tumblr.com and to the right of the dash it'll have the dashboard unfucker label to the right!
Tumblr media
(ID: the default dash again, but with the dashboard unfucker title at the top right of the right-hand side of the dash. end ID)
step 5: click the little gear icon and all the options will pop up! u can fuck around with em to ur heart's content. i recommend exporting after ur done and saving it somewhere in case u have to uninstall/reinstall to troubleshoot or smth
you're done! now u can see the results of polls without clicking them and other such things
Tumblr media
(ID: a poll i have not voted on. it has 17 votes and 23h 56m remaining. the title is "poll :)" and the answers are "answer 1" "answer 2" and "see results". there are no percentage labels, but the amount each answer has is indicated by light blue bars in each result, as they would be if i had voted. end ID) note: i'm not sure how/if this aspect of the extension is indicated for screenreaders
THIS POST IS TRANSGENDER BTW!

How to Embed Images and Links on AO3
Note: I have a site skin so the colors might look different. Just follow along with the red arrows! Also, this is a tutorial used on the computer, and I assume mobile posting would be different.
First, open archiveofourown.org and log in if you haven't already. If you don't have an AO3 account, sign up for one as soon as possible because it takes about a week for them to verify you and give you access to your new account.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next, select "Post" in the top right hand corner like you would typically. Set up everything you desire as you normally would until you reach "Work Text*".
Note: If you need further help, I have an AO3 Tag Guide, a Story Title Guide, a List of Random AO3 Shortcuts, and a How to Post a Work on AO3 with Step-by-Step Explanations Guide for your convenience! I also have a Foundations Writing Lesson post for any beginners or for people who would appreciate a review <333
Tumblr media
Once there, click on "Rich Text" in the top right of that section, and then select the image icon or the link icon, depending on which you are intending to make.
Note: Check under the cut for more in-depth instructions slash a continuation of this guide! There is an Image Icon Route and a Link Icon Route.
Tumblr media
Image Icon Route
Once you click on the Image Icon, the screen similar to below should pop-up:
Tumblr media
*Link Icon Route detour start here
The source is the link to the image you're wanting to add to your work. AO3 doesn't host images itself, but you can use an image hosting site such as postimages.org or even Tumblr itself. If you want to use Tumblr, post a draft with the desired image or locate a post with the desired image. Once you've done that, right click the desired image and Open Image in New Tab (or whatever your computer's equivalent is).
Tumblr media
You should have a tab open that starts with "https://64.media.tumblr.com" followed by a bunch of numbers and letters. I want you to copy that link and post it in the source box.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
*Link Icon Route detour ends here
Now that the image link is in place, adjust your Width/Height boxes if desired. Feel free to add an image description as well. For best result, I suggest doing 100% in the Width box with nothing in Height, but this is ultimately a personal decision. Feel free to mess around with the proportions using the work drafts and find what's best for you!
Tumblr media
If you prefer, you can also use < img src="LINK" alt="IMAGE DESCRIPTION" width="100%" align="center" /> aka < + img src="https://64.media.tumblr.com/0e3d1827f755eae4c79e605a8e73a44b/f65ab99ee3c9bf64-a8/s1280x1920/8608529567963545a061989b32a1d4541272ef51.jpg" alt="" width="100%" align="center" /> for this example (*excluding the plus sign at the start) to insert an image using HTML instead of Rich Text. It'll look like this:
Tumblr media
It is always a good idea to double-check and confirm that everything is how you want it. Previewing your work also allows you to create a draft.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you're unhappy with something, edit the work to fix it! If you're happy with how everything looks, go ahead and post it! You're finished here! You've successfully posted a work with an image embedded! Well done; good job :D
Link Icon Route
Once you click on the Link Icon, the screen similar to below should pop-up:
Tumblr media
Go copy (Control+C or Command+C) the link to whatever it is you want to insert into the body of the work.
Note: If you're wanting to link specifically to an image and not a post containing that image, scroll up to the link icon route detour colored purple.
Once you got that, paste (Control+V or Command+V) the link into the URL box. If you want something other than the link to display, change the text in the "Text to display" box.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Save your work, check the formatting and everything else like we did in the Image Icon Route section. If everything is how you want it, then congratulations! You have successfully added a link embedded to your work!
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to comment and I'll respond! If this guide was helpful to you, please like and reblog! I appreciate it <333

ok slow day on the blog so im about to get all soppy and artsy. Because a) this man drives me insane and i continously try to figure out why slash justify it to myself and b) i am so obsessed right now with that one leg muscle that kinda goes flat when you sit but also is a key part of how to structure the leg when drawing. Blah blah blah hockey butts yeah great but what if... hockey inner thigh....
Tumblr media
Ughhhhhhh kill me now.
Anyway im gonna adress a trend i have noticed in the pens fandom mostly displayed through passive aggression towards me or other creators...and that's the use of references. There seems to be this idea that using references is lazy or cheating or means that this person isn't making 'real' art. And im gonna call some bullshit. Every single artist since someone decided to paint their hand and try to recreate a cow on a cave wall with their thumb has used references. Talk to real commercial artists and they use WAY more references than you can imagine. My current job is super stylized and unique. But back when i worked in hyper realism on C*ll of Dooty and superheroes and stuff? Never not once did the illustrators not utilize references. Often us 3D artists were given a photo with a posed actor, which we used to pose the 3D model, which then was illustrated on top of directly by the illustrator. Those artists had to churn out hundreds of illustrations a month. They did not have time to get precious about it.
And lets talk about 'sourcing'. Yes, if you copy a photo directly almost pixel for pixel an artist should probably reveal their source. But so rarely is this the case. If you put any kind of spin on it - your own style, change the colors, add or subtract the background - that is YOUR art and there is no need to link to or include the damn 'source'. It's not a 'source' at that point. That would be like asking the amazing folks who photoshop artistic 'edits' together using photos and brushes to link to the original photos at the bottom of all their posts. This is just silly.
You want to know what commercial artists did before the internet? My old friend here has a studio from the 70s-2000s that has an entire wall full of neatly organized stacked drawers of printed references, a lot of it clipped from magazines and books. Each of them labeled by subject matter. And this artist worked in some of the most famous advertizing studios during that era.
So, coming back around to hockey thighs, because I know there are certain folks in the pe*ns fandom that get annoyed and angry at my daily drawings (which is so sad by the way, get a life). I have to admit this is the first time this has ever happened in a fandom so it threw me for a loop. But I also know there are younger artists out there who follow me so I want to explain my process a little. Most of my daily doodles are studies - its one of the reasons its been easier to do them during my illness than any more serious creative work. When i doodle i am looking at references and trying to recreate that as i see it. The key point being 'as i see it'. I am usually trying to learn things like: in this photo what about the lighting is compelling, and how can i make it more so? Or what is the focus of the drawing and how can i let the rest of it fade? Or whats the main gesture and how do i exaggerate that? And always, always im trying to study anatomy from new angles. For me its not enough to learn what a 'knee' looks like because the shape of the knee and the muscles around it change depending on how it's posed. And it is often those changes that make it so beautiful. Or in this case that beautiful sexy stretch of thigh between geno's knee and groin.
Often times if i imagine a 'pose' in my head, i will then go pull as many references as i can where the body's limbs are roughly arranged how i want it and then draw those over and over until i feel like i have enough of a grasp on that anatomy to recreate it for myself. So please, dont listen to the haters, use those references or dont use them freely. the haters are idiots who are projecting their own fear of inadequacy and learning to be creative onto you. <3
In my next essay i will discuss how baffled and humbled i am by the way my love for geno's face has utterly transformed my artistic eye...

Pinned Post:
General Rules: Please include Fandom, Author, a Link to the Fic (ideally in its own line for easy copy-pasting), Rating, Pairing/Gen, Ongoing/Complete/Abandoned, Length, and ideally some amount of summary (just copy pasting the author's summary will do if you dont want to sum it up yourself).
Details on including a link: In the event that you accidentally forget to include the link to the fic (happens more often than you'd think) I am capable of finding the link myself and will do so (assuming you have provided enough other information in your ask to actually identify the fic in question). If you would like to make a hyperlink yourself in your submission, that's very convenient, although not required. All links that go to a specific chapter of a work will be truncated to just the work link, so that they display as either entire work or first chapter based on the user's own presets. If you are linking a specific chapter for a reason, such as a one shot in a work that's a collection of them, say so and the link will not be shortened.
If you tell me what tropes it contains (found family, time travel, etc etc) I will add those as tags for search purposes.
I try to post two recs a day, and anything in the askbox is queued ASAP.
I have decided I take requests now! You can send in an ask to request fics from a specific fandom, and I will give a rec of my own if I have one, and other readers may chime in with theirs!
Additionally, community survey says that works of writing posted directly to tumblr are welcome as well - if you tag me in something like the Thyme Witch story or God of Arepo for example, I'll reblog those here under the tag "tumblr folklore", and regular fics posted directly to tumblr will be under "tumblr writing"!
Nothing is banned from being submitted, just make sure you mention common triggers and content warnings. If you want to submit whump fics, thats fine, you want to submit *ahem* adult content, thats fine, just make sure you're clear about what the link you give will lead to.
My official policy on fics from fandoms whose source material authors went on to do terrible things (including but by no means limited to JKR, Dream & Wilbur Soot, Neil Gaiman's works, etc): These fanfictions are a reminder of a better time and how great the story was. So long as these works of passion do not support the creators' future actions in any way (morally, monetarily, etc), they will be allowed on this blog.
Duplicate fic submissions are allowed and will be published as usual. Partly because I don't want to have to track whats already been submitted or not, and partly because I think a fic being submitted multiple times speaks to its quality. Please note that repeatedly sending in the same fic over and over on purpose is not the same thing, and spam reccing will be deleted from the inbox.
Queue runs out on: 7/3/25
Pinned post updated on: 6/19/25
We're perpetually looking for more fics. New followers, if you want to become a submitter, no time like the present to get in the inbox! (And as a reminder, first time submissions get to skip the queue :3 )

How to Add Images to Ao3
Since it's @steddiebang season I thought I'd do a quick guide on how to add images to your fics in case people don't know how! First off, you need to use the "Rich Text" Editor on Ao3
Tumblr media
Next, you need the url of the image you want to embed. This needs to be a direct link to the image (not the post of it on socials) the way to get this is to right click on the pic wherever it's posted and "copy image address" this will copy the direct link to the image
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the Ao3 Rich Text editor click the picture icon to "insert/edit image" paste the "source" url adjust width and height as needed
Tumblr media
There you go! Image in your fic! A few things to note: I copied this url from tumblr, the quality is significantly lower than the Ch1 image I already have in there. Since I haven't posted all my title cards on socials I posted them on imgur and set them to private. You could also post them on a private Pinterest board or another hosting site, you just need that url to the image address.
Tumblr media
If you want the image to be centered (something i struggled with for a while) you can click next to it to select the text line it's sitting in and center it from there
Personally, when I embed art in fics I add a line underneath to link to credit the artist & the original post to encourage readers to engage with the art directly. You can do that in the rich text editor like so:
Tumblr media
And cause i'm a stickler for crediting here's the link to this art by @glitterfang on Twitter & Tumblr
Tumblr media
If you want to link anything in the Summary or Notes then you need to use html like this: <a href="LINK URL" rel="nofollow">DISPLAY TEXT</a> Okay! Thanks for coming to my ted talk, hope that helps at least one person!

omg so just so yall know, when you copy & paste the link to an instagram reel (not sure about other posts) it now opens with a little pop up telling them who the link is from, including display name, username n icon. if you prefer to keep that private, if it has sensitive/private, etc, you can work around it by pasting the link into your browser (make sure you’re not signed in there), clicking the share button and copying the link from there instead.
source: girl who just exposed her real, very uncommon name to a discord server of 3k people 💖

[DATA CORRUPT] — This segment regards something The End hasn't revealed yet. Perhaps if you ask Them the right question...?
Bio
The End (any pronouns, hereafter They/Them) is an extradimensional entity older than time and space. They can best be likened to a black hole: not quite an existing something, but a violent nothing threatening to swallow everything around it.
To Them, existence is pointless at best and an agonizing act of futility at worst. Why bother with such chaos? Their solution: to eradicate everything until an empty, silent, unchanging order remains. (This makes Them very unpopular with living things, but surely the poor things just don’t know any better.)
Their consciousness resides in the gaps between the Sonic multiverse. They must take physical form within a universe before They can destroy it. This form’s appearance depends on the viewer’s perception of death itself; the most common perception among Earthlings is a purple moon, possibly due to our Moon symbolizing death in many cultures.
Timeline
|||| The Beginning ||||
Once upon a time, Nothing existed. That Nothing slept peacefully, content with the silence.
Their first memory was of a boredom not Their own. Just as They noticed it... the Big Bang happened.
Time began, space was formed, light and sound and matter and life came to be. Near-instantly the universe churned, cooled, and split off into more universes.
Nothing awoke. They were shrinking, rapidly being crowded out by everything. They found Themself on the outskirts of all creation, on the outside looking in.
Another being may have regarded this display with awe. Nothing saw only a mess. They couldn't go back to sleep—not with this constant chaos disturbing Them.
They vowed to destroy it—all of it—and restore the perfect, silent order They once knew.
And so, The End got to work.
|||| Before Frontiers ||||
Through trial and error, The End learned how to destroy universes (or "consume worlds," as They put it). Over millennia, They perfected a routine. First They had to manifest physically within that world, which took Them time and effort. Once incarnated, They would pierce stars and planets, prioritizing ones that harbored life. Some worlds collapsed after losing a single planet; others held strong until all their contents were atomized. Either way, They'd drag the remains into the void between universes—Their truest form—where they'd cease to exist.
The End began Their crusade at the far edges of the multiverse. The worlds there were quick to fall, but [DATA CORRUPT].
The Ancients had been [DATA CORRUPT].
Their smartest tribe built spaceships powered by the greatest force they knew. They were the first in all creation to witness The End consume... and live.
Angry at having missed Their target, They followed them to their new home planet. Even with advanced technology and ample time to prepare, the Ancients were hopelessly outmatched. In a last-ditch effort, they managed to seal The End within their two greatest creations: first Supreme, their latest mech model; then Cyber Space, a digital dimension made to store records and memories. They left everything running on minimal power, abandoned it, and soon died out; taking all knowledge of the horror they'd subdued with them.
Tens of thousands of years passed. Civilizations rose, fought, and fell. The Chaos Emeralds were lost, sealed, and unearthed. New digital databases were invented; Cyber Space clumsily copied their contents, giving The End vague glimpses of the outside world.
And so They languished… until one fateful day.
|||| Frontiers ||||
Cyber Space was suddenly powered back up. The End noticed something being plugged into Their prison.
That something noticed Them back, gained personhood, and saw The Ancients' final moments all at once. Needless to say, Sage was horrified.
She realized Their escape was inevitable, and acted to protect her father. They left the two to their little corner of Cyber Space, watching from afar.
Not long after, another mortal arrived and was promptly trapped in Cyber Space. The End paid him no mind.
Not long after that, three more mortals arrived. Two of them were trapped as well, but the third... somehow escaped.
This caught The End's attention. They read his mind and found the talent and resolve to free Them... if They nudged him in the right direction.
And so, with some choice words and a few "gifts" as encouragement, Sonic became Their key. They "guided" him to the point of near-death until, at long last, They were free.
...Okay, They were still bound to Supreme and had to fight Super Sonic in it. But after that, They were free to incarnate in space and consume again, starting with Earth.
… Except They were out of practice after so long in stasis, and Their incarnation was weak enough to be countered. (That's what They claim, at least.)
With the Emeralds and Supreme's firepower, Sonic and Sage whittled it down to near-destruction. At that point The End chose to destroy it Themself, hoping to take Earth with it. Even this failed; Sage sacrificed Supreme and herself to neutralize the blast into a harmless meteor shower.
|||| This Blog (Part 1) ||||
With Their final link to the physical world severed, The End returned to the void beyond. They were still weak; gathering strength to incarnate would take longer than usual. But at least They could do so in relative peace...
...Or so They thought. Every so often, mortals would stumble upon Their hiding spot and strike up conversation. Some taunted Them; others were more welcoming. Some transmitted their messages, while others... physically showed up somehow…?
With nothing else to do, The End entertained their questions, even asking some of Their own. Among other happenings…
Sonic was mistakenly declared dead. The End's rejoicing was spirited, but short-lived.
Someone asked if They’ve ever incarnated as a mortal. They haven’t… yet.
The End was featured in a poll rating characters for… certain qualities (CW for suggestive language). This confused and disgusted Them... but They weren't completely above exploiting it.
A Chaos Emerald fell through the cracks of a nearby universe and into the void. The End held onto it for quite a while.
The End spoke at length about the worlds They’ve consumed. In fact, They spoke so much that people reported having “flashbacks” to these worlds. This was not Their intention.
|||| Frontiers: Final Horizon ||||
Suddenly, The End went silent. After a time, They returned with a story: The Chaos Emerald had time-warped Them back to the moment They’d left Cyber Space. With a more informed strategy and Their full power almost restored, They attempted to undo Their earlier defeat.
It didn’t go well.
Back at square one (and minus one Emerald), They reluctantly returned to answering questions.
|||| This Blog (Part 2) ||||
People swiftly made fun of The End for losing twice.
A few rumors spread during Their absence, but They were quick to clarify: No, They’re not related to the Northstar Islands’ Black Dragon, and no, that wasn’t Them outside the Egg Fortress. Also, They can’t die.
Speak of the devil and he shall appear—Sonic himself finally entered the chat! His lengthy, scathing message was met with an equally long and scathing reply.
The End continued to consider taking mortal form. Suggestions were sent Their way, but only time will tell whether They’ll act on them...
After frequent quakes and a brush with total collapse, a shattered universe finally grew stable.
Out of nowhere, The End asked to be sent biology textbooks. [LOADING...]
