Oneiromancy or divination through dream interpretation allows valuable insight into the workings of our own minds. Often our subconscious will reflect back to us the shadows we do not look at, or are unaware of in waking life. Asking for clear guidance from self, guides, ancestors during sleep can help with problem solving, healing, and confidence in one's intuitive abilities. Day Three: “How  Do I Treat Others?” vs. ”How Do I Treat Myself?”

(Using Loki’s tarot deck, “The Raven’s Prophecy Tarot”)

Three of Cups - All the threes, all the time. Both of these cards seem to be talking more about how I “interact” with people than how I “treat” them. This is the “party card;” it talks about letting loose and having fun with a group of friends. Given that my friends are mostly assholes who think they’re Better than me, this is not referring to them. It stresses a need to sort of recharge myself with people who don’t do that. And soon. “Go hang with your Kemetics, Tjemsy.” 

The Empress -  How do I treat myself? “You don’t.” The Empress is my highest self. This particular deck refers to The Empress as a lioness; a loving caregiver who’s not afraid to sink her teeth into you to protect her own. Appropriate for a Sekhmet kid. I’m very focused on helping and supporting other people, and put them before myself. Perhaps too much.

The Mad March Tarot challenge appealed to me and as March is my birth month I decided to head down the rabbit hole!

The card I drew for the month was the Ace of Wands, which heralds an opportunity that will require swift and decisive action. There will be no time to weigh pros and cons, intuition will be key!

Self Love September 2002 Tarot Challenge - Days 1 & 2 As I work on my self-live book, this month’s tarot challenge by Mercury Tarot @mercurytarot felt perfectly in alignment. For folks who are not familiar with tarot challenges, they are a concept on social media where you choose a deck for the month and each day either has a prompt or there is a month long prompt. It is encouragement to do the work and connecting of tarot, and I enjoy doing them from time to time. As part of Self-Love September I am reading from the deck is the combined “Soul Revived Tarot” (Parts 1 & 2) by Nikki at @Aptmnt1708 https://etsy.me/2APvS6Q that is my current mixed tarot/oracle travel deck. I love that it is a hybrid tarot/oracle deck, as different cards hit me different ways. The first question in this tarot challenge is “What is my best personality trait?” Strength. Though I want to interpret this as strength of character or inner strength, I’m more sitting with the idea of wholistic strength. That I am more than my parts and together it holds me up. My spiritual path, my friends and beloveds, my tenacity, my gratitude, my commitment to not give up, my tenderness to me when I want to… together this creates a strength. My web of self and beyond-self is my best personality trait. Today’s prompt is “What should I be proud of?” Needs A Better Plan. I’m actually feeling really proud of my ability as of late to reassess situations and restructure plans. Today I found out that a thing I was told emphatically would happen and I asked if they were sure in fact was not happening. Though not a bit thing, it does affect my weekend vision but instead of getting upset like I sometimes do I acknowledged it and move forward. Life needed a better plan. Breathe deep. I’m proud of me. The invitation for today was to lay out a three card reading based on a question or topic and then to note the similarities between these cards. My topic was moving forward. I noticed that all of the elements are represented amongst these cards. First has a hint of wings with the second having true wings. There is for certain a sense of motion and power in the first two cards and life in the third. The deck I am using is the Dreampower Tarot by R. J.
