30. What are their respective love languages? Do their love languages work well together?

Okay SO there is no fuckin way Doc's love language isn't acts of service and gift giving. If that man doesn't show Ren how much he loves him, he will simply wither away. He's fine to spend long periods of time away from Ren and such, but his way of showing his love is doing things for Ren to make him happy and gifting him things he wants and/or needs so he can be happy. If Ren is happy, then he himself is happy and he never wants anything in return bc Ren's happiness is enough for him. He's a softie, ur honour.

Ren's love language is words of affirmation and quality time I think. But not quality time in the sense that he wants to be w Doc all the time, similar to Doc he can go long periods of time without seeing Doc and their relationship will be fine but Ren really likes the time he gets to spend with him and loves nothing more then to just talk to Doc, and listen to what he has to say bc he loves Doc in general. He likes hyping Doc up and seeing all of the cool projects he's working on, and likes to both gush about how cool Doc's work is and be praised for his own good work as well.

I actually think their love languages work really well together!!!

I think Doc's way of cherishing Ren and doing so much to ensure his happiness makes Ren feel very loved and he never ever takes all that Doc does for him and gives to him for granted bc he knows he can be pretty fussy and high maintenance so the specific way in which Doc will go the extra mile for him, and happily go along w what he wants to do is something he is incredibly grateful for.

On a similar vein, I actually feel like Doc's way of loving is quite selfless in the sense that he would be more than fine giving Ren all of the love in the world and he'd be fine getting nothing on return, because Ren knowing how much Doc loves him is enough but!! Ren has his own way of showing Doc his love and it is something Doc holds very dear to him. Ren's excitement over Doc's projects, and the process behind them is something Doc will never ever tire of bc having someone be so genuinely interested in something you're passionate about means a lot, especially since the things Doc does really doesn't make sense to a lot of people even if the end result is usually uh. Insane. He appreciates how hard Ren tries to understand what he's doing and how he is never shy to get just as, if not MORE, excited then Doc about his cool world breaking projects.

In general, I'd consider their ways of loving one another compatible bc like S9 break up arc aside, I think they click and make each other feel loved in very specific ways that they don't get with others because they understand each other.

33. How do they flirt? Who's the worse flirt?

Okay. So. I feel like they're pretty blatant about their flirting tbh? They just go for it, they're not AS blatantly and openly flirty as say xB and Keralis but like they'll make the silly suggestive comments and such, compliments are very common between the two of them. Neither of them are particularly shy about flirting imo but most of it is natural chemistry and opportunistic flirting when the chance to be silly arises yk. I think it'd be hard for them to fluster each other but I do think Doc would fluster easier if Ren leaned hard into flirting since most of the flirting they do is a bit, it's like /hj so genuineness would give Doc butterflies LOL. And the worse flirt...it depends. If you mean who's worse at flirting, I think Doc is worse at flirting. If you mean worse as in who flirts more, it's definitely Ren LOL.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

somehow instead of saying "as a treat", I've started using the phrase "for morale", as if my body is a ship and its crew, and I (the captain) have to keep us in high spirits, lest we suffer a mutiny in the coming days.
