But when people mention those conflicts while posting about Palestine they break over like 20 thousand.

It’s almost like you can’t bring attention to any conflict unless you blame Jews.

My CBT Final about Lasko is done

Genuine question - does anyone not in the server want to read this....?

Context: I am in graduate school. I wrote my Cognitive Behavioral Therapy final about Lasko Moore. Yes, you heard that right - I wrote about boyfriend asmr for a grade for 18 something pages of clinical-ese jargon. Somehow, the silliest part was trying to write a primer to describe what the fuck the universe is for context for my professor.

Hello, how are you ?

My name is Mahmoud Nassar, from Palestine - the West Bank. I work as a radiographic technician at Hebron Governmental Hospital. I would like to present to you a painful story about this young man, who is my wife’s uncle, and I ask you to help him.

 This young man's name is Raed Abu Mufarreh, 44 years old, from the city of Bethlehem in Palestine.  Two years ago, Raed went to Al-Aqsa Mosque in the city of Jerusalem to pray there. During the prayer, a quarrel broke out between Israeli soldiers and one of the worshipers. Because the place was crowded with people, the Israeli soldiers fired rubber bombs at the worshipers, and one of them hit this young man’s eye.  He had nothing to do with the quarrel and was just praying.

 After he was transferred to the nearby hospital, his right eye was removed and he began to see with his left eye only, but after a short period there was a problem with his good eye as a result of the effects of the injury. After presenting his medical reports to local and international hospitals, it became clear that treatment for his eye was only available at Hospital in Russia.

 This man is a father of three children and the sole breadwinner for them. He lost his job in the construction field due to an eye injury.  He cannot now provide the necessities of life for his children, and at the same time he cannot afford the cost of his treatment and travel expenses to Russia.

 Let me show you some pictures of him and his medical reports that show his health condition from the moment of injury until now. I hope that you will support him in bringing him back to life, and help him save the expensive cost of treatment, as your donations will be divided into two parts:

 Part to provide relief to his children and provide them with basic life requirements.

 Another part is to provide treatment for him and to preserve his only eye with which he can see so that he does not lose both eyes.

 Please give this man back some life before he becomes blind.

 There is no life without eyes and no life without hope, and with your efforts hope continues.

do you think the "big cadence moment" is going to be something about the play snippet with hawthorne or another part? also any further thoughts on the context of the play snippet?

I have been thinking about the snippets a lot because of all the Q&A info the past two days. Here’s to hoping we get a new one soon!

My guess is that perhaps the play snippet related to the PR and stuff that Holliday Wu wants them all to do. I think there’s just a lot more especially that Morrigan has to do because of everyone’s views on Wundersmiths. Rereading the snippet makes me think that maybe Cadence maybe is helping her write a speech or something like that? 🤷

Also revisiting the snippets made me realize that I don’t know if I ever really read the whole Holliday snippet before, or at least I didn’t register Nan talking about other tournament dragon riders usually being “rich, aristocratic Nevermoorians”. No wonder we’re going to the Silver District!

If the Neverfour emojis are chronological, part of me wants to think about the order the snippets might be in the story… 🤔

I have a broken ankle and get a cast on Thursday. Because it is a near total break in my fibula, I am unable to put any weight on it, and therefore unable to work as an Instacart shopper and Doordasher. I have no source of income because of this, and to add, I've recently rescued a baby starling bird and need to keep up with it's gluttonous appetite for live mealworms, which are costly.
