Sitting at my parents' house eating a pre-thanksgiving dinner mashed potato sandwich, thinking about how Mickey would eat his on a Hawaiian roll (he likes em sweet) while Ian goes for rye. Everyone else uses the same plain white bread they grew up with, but now they use real butter and Debbie mashes the potatoes herself. She makes one as a snack for Franny who insists on the crusts being cut off, and mashed potatoes fall all over her orange sweater but she scoops them up and eats them anyway.

I love watching those sneakily filmed audience reactions to movies. Audiences in my IRL theaters aren’t very expressive but on YouTube it’s great, especially for whump scenes. I get to feed on the onscreen characters’ pain and the audience’s pain as a bonus
