(I’m sorry in advance for going on a complete world building tangent in my answer to this but I hope you enjoyed some of this and maybe some of you can get some inspiration)

Honestly in this AU I think that it would be pretty commonplace for boxers and pants to have little holes for tails? And I would image they sell tail warmers and like gloves for tails in the colder countries as well (OH MY GOD BUNNY EAR MUFFS).

Cause I see this AU as an AU where pet hybrids are fairly common? Maybe like 40% of the population is a pet hybrid of some kind so there would definitely be clothing options tailored for them.

However I also think that hybrids will come across clothing problems too? Like Mick is always causing the seams around the hole for his tail in his pants to split because he wags his tail so much. Charles struggles to find ear warmers that fit him cause his ears are so long, este has the same problem with tail warmers cause his tail so long. Conversely, yuki’s ears are TEENY and he struggles to find things that fit them.

So yeah! Underwear with holes in them should already exist in this AU but I also think that Charles is probably really picky about what he likes for underwear so I could see him choosing a brand that doesn’t cater to hybrids and just cutting holes in them. If he were by himself he wouldn’t worry too much cause his tail is very small, but he believes his tail should always be available for you to flick.

Kuro is always the one to die first. Mickbell is the one that has to go through the anguish of knowing he saw the only one he truly considers a family die. Look at his face when he realizes Kuro died/is going to die.

Mickbell doesn't cry here because he's afraid for his own safety or scared of what just happened. He cries because Kuro put himself into great danger and got killed.

I'll always wonder what would happen if Mick gets killed first.

The ultimate dogboy in Dunmeshi to me isn’t Laios, Lycion or even Kuro. It’s Mickbell.

Little dog man’s never had enough. Little dog man has someone in his hands already but it’s not all that he’s wanted and craved. He’s hungered for so long and now he doesn’t know what can quench it. When you’ve been hungry, once you have something it’s hard to not binge eat it because you never know when you’ll lose it. He wants more from them, more of them, more to chew, more safely locked within his teeth, more to taste on his tongue. Hungry greedy unkempt misbehaved. I think he loves like a dog I think he slobbers and digs his teeth in because he doesn’t want to let his bone go and he’s hungry and starved.

And he’s not like Laios he’s not like Kuro he’s not like Lycion, calling him a dog in any way would be the greatest offense to him but also it’s true. Sorry. Dogboy against your consent. You better be ready to unpack a lot of stuff you don’t like hearing about yourself!!!! The unwilling dogboy analogies are the most interesting ones get out Laios and Lycion. I’m happy to hear you are feeling better. I know it’s a nightmare because Covid did a similar thing to my immune system and I was so sick the next time I was ill.

you don’t have to answer this of course mainly just having some fluffy thoughts. In the hydrid!au with dog!mick you said when you first date him he acts all nonchalant but his tail is moving like crazy. I was thinking about when you guys first discussed a date (whether it was you or him who made the fist move) I just know he was trying to act all unbothered to try and impress you or trying not to seem so excited (maybe to hide the fact that he’s a sub and a big softie) but his tail is a dead give away. When you first approach him it’s pretty still maybe moving slightly but as soon as he realises it’s you his tail starts moving like crazy while he’s trying to put in this cool boy act. I just think it would be so cute to hear your thoughts about this type of situation.

Hello!! Firstly, thank you so much for the well wishes! Yeah COVID really fucked with my immune system. I'm feeling a lot better now though I'm still coughing quite a bit and I'm still gonna take it easy this week just to make sure I recover properly. Secondly, I love this idea!! Dog!Mick is so fucking cute I love him.

Honestly his tail goes crazy every single time you talk with him. At first you think it's just because he enjoys talking to people. Dog hybrids are very social, so it makes sense that he'd be happy when being with another.

But then you see him talking to someone else and his tail is normal, well it's moving a little but nothing like the crazy way it wags whenever Mick is with you.

Maybe that's what gives you the confidence to ask him out? And you have to be the one to do it, because he would never. No matter how much he wants to, he won't ask you out himself because he's so scared you'll say no.

Mick loves just talking to you so much! He's always seeking out, every free minute he has is spent with you. And he knows that if he asks you out and you say no, then he won't be able to spend so much time with you anymore because you won't look at him the same anymore and he can't have that, he really can't!! He's like a puppy with separation anxiety.

So needless to say, when you ask him he's so excited!! He can't believe his luck.

He tries to just nod and smile, but his tail is moving so quickly that you're honestly scared he might sprain it, cause you want a date! He gets to take you on a date!!!

I also think he doesn't even notice his tail wagging so much? He genuinely doesn't realise until someone points it out (maybe someone makes fun of him? Sad Mick trying to stop his tail from wagging too much...)

The fishing trip with Hosea and Dutch has a special place in my heart, but it makes me realise how much loss Arthur had gone through in regards to his animal companions.
