My sister is still brushing my hair because I can't hold my arms up for long.

This has become a full-on Girls' Sleepover Party every time, now, Gwyn rushing over to seat herself in my lap to be brushed while sister brushes my hair. Gwyn helpfully lifting her forelegs to have her feathers brushed, turning without request to get her other ear, etc. I don't know why Gwyn has decided to play Girls' Night like this, but it's very sweet and silly.

Last Girls' Night, I finished brushing Gwyn, set the brush on the table, looked at Tristan and asked "you want a turn? You want to be brushed, too?"

Tristan looked around, spotted the brush, gently stole it off the table, and trotted around to present it to me. 😂🤣

Awright, so he doesn't want a full membership in Girl's Night but he's willing to lend a hand, I guess.

My dog carried his giant bone upstairs and got up on the foot of my bed to chew it. He dropped it and has been softly whining at it to come back.

So my mom and I are at the dmv and my mom accidentally dropped her wallet. So she stands up and has her service dog come to her from where he was laying under the chairs.

Mom, pointing to the wallet: Linus, fetch.

Linus, who just got out from under the plastic chair: *looks at the wallet* *looks at my mom* *turns around and crawls back under the dmv chair*

Ok but imagine. greygold porting back and finds the emps panicking and trying to figure out to locate them and then turns around and sees they are completely fine. Except for a now beautiful full stash on their squid face.

Aight, I imagined, I loved, and I'm ✨inspired✨ Although perhaps not the cute stash bit as Greygold got a lil too GloomGold saying goodbye to Lae'zel, but have a silly nonetheless-

I'm disposing of expired kibble by putting it out for the crows.

We've consequently added an extra step in Coming Inside from Feeding the Big Doggies: the Spaniels have to investigate the tree because it smells like kibble.

It's interesting to see how the scent pools and eddies and spreads, as demonstrated by the paths the Spaniels take around the tree, looking for the source of that good sniff. They sometimes follow a narrow strip of scent for meters and meters away from the tree.

Why does Ren have 4 ears? Are they all real or is one set fake?

Hehe I’ve gotten this question a lot actually! They’re all real— I like to think hybridization isn’t always a clean balance of traits, so Ren just unfortunately ended up with two sets of ears— his Dog ears being much more receptive to sound, naturally— and sometimes when the extra intake of sound is too overwhelming, I imagine he wears earplugs in his human ears to help adjust :> it’s a bit weird, but idk! i like to make designs funky and nonconventional! I liked the idea that Ren had hearing struggles due to wonky hybridization and just kept the concept :>
