Not much to say these days. Been down lately. My only bright spots are my kids. Two beautiful & hilarious young people I’m floored I can call my own! Spent all day with them & loved every second & hurt elbow of it.

Well, I don’t have cancer, according to the results of the intrusive procedure. That’s a good thing.  Still, I’ve got so many pills now that my weekly pillbox is overflowing.  Writing is going really well, but unfortunately, I can’t write as much as I’d like due to workload (no break for me) and fatigue. Students seem to be under standard reading level during this summer course; that, or they got used to just copying their notes and hoping for the prof to fish out the answer.  It’s a lot of work to explain that they need to provide specific information, not all of the information; I don’t want to let them progress unprepared for expectations at the next level.  I started planning for my Summer Adventure, which was happy, but the COVID anxiety/social anxiety fear is hacking at the joy.  I did book my second booster and impatiently wait news for Spawn. 

Midweek doldrums may have me in their clutches today (that, or a new awful side-effect).  I normally try not to be a downer here since the world is on fire and I’m trying not to add to it.
