Hey, just curious casual lurker here because i saw a lot of your posts in the willemmy tags (which i love!!), thank you for your contents 🙆‍♀️ Why do you think emmy's relationships with kai or michael were not that close or awkward? Apart from pd's lack of putting em's involvement with the family as your reason, is there any other reason that might lead you or others to this conclusion? Do you have a headcanon that you dont mind to share? +This was one of your inspiration for "Hell yeah" right? Also it seems that a regular commenter of your posts also mentioned how weird the whole horsemen and emmy's relationship was and wished they woukd treat her differently, but tbh, i dont think it was THAT weird or anything should have been done differently much. Emmy was still miserable, alone and friendless in San Fransisco. After accepting that she wanted to live without fear and live free, she accepted that the horsemen and cowgirls lifestyle was very similar to how she wanted to see the world instead of how she always saw it right? It just took her a longer times to come to this conclusion.

In high school, with their typical horsemen behaviour, they did try at least to be around emmy because of will, but its not like they didnt try to approach her right? I didnt remember if there was any mention that they didnt try to make her a part of the group. All i remember was that emmy pushed will away, will always tried to coerce her blablabla, and the horsemen always thought that she was a weirdo. If emmy tried to approach them differently, she wouldnt be emmy AND maybe she couldve been their friends then. But i still see that as impossible, because it wouldve been just corrupt2.0. They all were in different stages of lives, wanted different things from themselves, their friends, their families, their town people, their careers, the world so its understandable that theres bound to be some misunderstanding and no progression in any kind of relationship for them as opposed to like rika and the horsemen when rika was 16/19.

Rika (16) can fit in with them in corrupt because her childish thought when she was younger was what fuels michael. Rika (19) was able to challenge the horsemen because of revenge, trouble, shallow/short term fun, rebel etc. things that both parties excatly they both wanted and needed. Rika wanted a lttle trouble from her convenient rich privilege town and the horsemen wanted trouble for misjudgement of revenge and betrayal (ughh 🙄🤢). But still, be it before, or after the prison, the pattern was similar. Not emmy though, because apart from being parentless (figuratively and realistically) like rika, emmy grew up completely different than rika, emmy had a lot more responsibilities and caring duties since she was a pre-teen (apart from dealing with deadly domestic abuse and violence), so she grew up without being able to justify her wants like rika did because a lot of things that rika materialistically already had or never had to go through that were heavily related to the system of Thunder Bay (social class, financial problems, public education, scholarships, religion, etc.), emmy had them.

Unlike rika, when it comes to institutional privileges, emmy did not have much of a stable safety net (especially a guarantee of financial and educational success) to back her up, if she ever fucks up. Like i said, If emmy was acting more like rika, it wouldnt be nightfall, it wouldve been corrupt2.0. The social class discrepencies and institutional problems that came up in nightfall wouldnt be as much problem in corrupt because corrupt was a fight between privilege people, though it was shown, that being being privilege was nit enough to combat misogyny, sexual assault and high profile people's problems like that mile anderson date rape problem (thank fucking god that scum fucking died). This is not me dismissing rika's problems or trauma, but rather stating that while rika had a lot of problems, most of them do not come from institutional disadvantages that were created by the system to oppress other, but rather her problem came from high profile socialising and politics. In fact a lot of her problems are so contradictory that it doesnt make sense actually (pd was shit at this, but thats a whole nother topic).

Back to my main question, I think kai and michael's anger and betrayal to emmy's involvement in the train was valid (except for their mean reaction of "not enough for will", "weak", "debt" & "excuses"). But then, which girl in the group was not shit talked by the horsemen? I guess its because we've seen emmy went through so much shit, only for her to be piled more, thats why we got even angrier on her behalf. Idk, i do want more interactions between emmy and will's friends and family in the present time though, maybe then we can see how their relationship progress, but i still dont get really angry when the horsemen were not as friendly or cordial to emmy. They had nonreason too, she had made it clear she couldnt stand them in high school, even if they were aware that she had no beef with them. But logically, No matter how many times we want to say that the horsemen will go to jail anyway bcs of their videos, (i agree), but they still were jailed for something that were born out of misunderstanding and chivalry. Their care for emmy when they beat up margin then came out of righteous and protective anger because they found out about a girl being abused at home, and (irrationally) used physical violence to give a warning to martin. However, i think its still icky for will and kai to blame her because will had already mentioned this to kai yeah? That theres bound to be consequences for beating up a cop? Damon was down for it, but even will was rational enough then to warn his friends about this reality but they pushed past it anyway, so how is it anyone's fault if they got caught right?

+I feel like Kai & Michael's anger were justified (not will, because he already said he was being shit to emmy, only bcs he had a reason to hate her for rejecting him now), not because they had any beef with emmy persay, but more so their words were a reflection to the way they handled their relationships with their women (obviously, they treated their women like shit before they got married), and they thought chaining emmy and making her believe that she is indebted to them is the most viable solution to keep her close to will in thunder bay because "love saves all" agenda bullshit throughout the series. Didnt will say the same to rika in corrupt?

When michael called emmy weak, i dont see it as him insulting her in a degrading way. Michael too was weak (mentioned in corrupt right?) and he only did what evans told him, and rika changed him. Then Michael called RIKA weak and did some more mindfucking, because rika was weak then, and even rika herself wanted to be stronger and was tired of her weak life or smth like that, and he didnt want her to think that hes her saviour or will be there at her beck and call because there might be times when he couldnt and she need to stand up for herself (similar to what aydin said to emmy about her not needing a saviour in blackchurch --though i dont think i can convince YOU that aydin was necessary in nightfall ahaha) to be like his mom, same thing happens in kill switch with that professor, i guess michael was just saying this to tell emmy to fight them, and fight for her worth in the family and dont just stand there and take whatever bullshit things the horsemen or anyone pile on her, + they would fight the same for her too once they became family.

I think its very stupid and uncharismatic if they just accept emmy with open arms, even after being told that she played apart in their downfall (which they kinda deserve lmao). If they really accepted emmy with smiles or less harsher words, the horsemen and the cowgirls would be really fucking stupid and not learn anything from the past of just trusting anyone blindly into their tight-knit group of friends and family. Theyre building Thunder bay, have children and increasing assets now, its understandable that theyll increase privacy and security, even if that person is just "harmless" emmy. We were able to root for her ecause we knew what she went through, but it seems to me that even until fire night, emmy's past couldve still been a mystery to everyone, its understandble that they coukdve thought of her like a ticking bomb or smth. Just because she didnt have any bad intentions to them, doesnt mean shes loyal to them either, and the horsemen valued loyalty above everything (ryen mentioned this too in punk57, and ofc this was mentioned multiple times in dn series).

3/4 of them already did fought for emmy (even without her knowing), they even went to jail without mentioning anything about martin's abuse to anyone, so emmy' face and reputation werent ever dragged or got implicated in any way shape or form. Michael rika even took care of her during that martin taylor aydin tom and jerry runs right?

Anyway, People just knew that they were jailed for beating up a cop, but they covered up for emmy for the reason that fucker (martin) was beaten up. I think their anger towards her was justified since she got off scott free, but they (will, kai, damon) were considered as fellonies, even though technically, they are still in the top 5 most white/western privileged guys in the area (ughhh i cant with rich white people sometimes they always be saying delusional shit) even after everything that had happened to them. (They still got their happy ending so idk why they gotta be whining so much sometimes ngl). The horsemen were mentioned to not have any problems with emmy and 3/4 of them only thought that beating a cop was the reason they went to jail. However, like i said before, i still dont agree to the words they used to speak to emmy. I guess this is just some rambles in the horsemen's povs towards whatever things that were happening in the train. I dont hate them, but ngl, i was tempted to push them off the train LOL. I respect others opinions about their treatment towards emmy, but what i was saying is that, unlike whatever things that happened in corrupt, by the time we reached nightfall, it is at least a bit understandable that they felt betrayed by emmy of all people, after everything. Even emmy apologised for withholding a critical information, so idk 🤷‍♀️

It was a complex situation that were built up from book 1, and as a person who had read all the books before nightfall, even though their words were cutting towards em in the train, it wasnt as bad as what rika and witer had to go through, and it wasnt something that came from actual malice, so after they argued and fucked all that, i was okay with them all really. What do you think about this? Because i know my opinion is unpopular but that was how i saw it. It might just be me

I keep writing essay long responses, but you made a lot of good points!

Apart from not being able to see Em interacting with the others a lot, it was the one interaction we got in Fire Night. I don’t have FN on me, but I believe there was one scene where Kai stopped to talk to Emory and complimented her on her work or something like that. To me, and it’s probably just my interpretation, it felt very…lukewarm. Like they hadn’t spent the past ten years being family. It didn’t have that warm, “this is a person I love” feeling that I’d expect from them at this point. And the fact that it was followed by Kai dancing with Winter, which had a much warmer and tighter feeling to me, sort of cemented this idea. later realized this wasn't the order of events. See this post for an updated thought;

I don’t know why that happened or what gave me the feeling exactly – if it was the writing, PD having a softer spot for Winter than for Emory and it came through, or if there was another reason more related to the characters, or if it were just me specifically – but it just gave me the overwhelming and sort of disappointed feeling that these two weren’t close. They were friendly and polite, like they shared mutual loved ones, but didn’t hold any affection between themselves. And if you’re going to build a secret society on the concept of chosen family, even if the bond isn’t obvious on the surface, it needs to be in the undercurrent of their interactions. For me, it just wasn’t in the scene with Kai and Emory, but it was there between Kai and Winter.

I’m not sure if there’s a HC as to why they wouldn’t be close, because I think they’re meant to be. I think PD’s intent was that this was a group of people where everyone was needed and valued and loved for their qualities and what they contribute. I look to a series like Leverage where we get to see the bond between these characters develop and even between two characters that are sort of stoic, like Kai and Emory are, it’s clear that they know and understand and care about each other deeply. I think PD wanted us to feel that with all the members of this group, and I just didn’t. It’s probably a me thing.

Yeah! That’s exactly the inspo for Hell Yeah. I felt that Kai needed to sit in the corner and think about what he’d done and apologize for being mean to my baby girl Emory and so I made it happen. (Listen, I wanted to love Kai. He was my absolute favorite Horseman from his first on-page moment in Corrupt. And he would have stayed there in first place if he didn’t whined so much through the rest of the series…)

As for Emory’s relationship with the Horsemen being weird, I agree that it wasn’t meant to be. I think the theme of this story is that there are people we’re meant to be with and it’s important that we find those people. And while outside of the DN universe, the characters are quite tame compared to other series, in-universe they’re meant to be dark and different and immoral and depraved and a little…

To feel comfortable and accepted, they needed to find each other. So Emory was meant to fit in with them and I think she does when she stops overthinking everything and living just for survival and instead more for enjoyment.

I think what a lot of readers struggle with the most is Emory not moving on after Will? For a lot of it is people, it’s wanting her to have friends and a life out side of Thunder Bay and of Will, because Will obviously had a life. The thought seems to be "he was out there getting his revenge and making plans and sleeping with everything that breathed air and wore a skirt, but you’re telling me that Emory just what? Sat around, pouting, feeling sorry for herself? Please."

And they see PD having her this way as pathetic. In my opinion, Emory did what she always did: she put her head down and worked. She focused on the things she could control, like her career and taking care of her grandmother, doing everything in her power to ensure she was safe and cared for. That’s what she did in Thunder Bay and that’s what she did when she was overwhelmed with guilt for Will. It’s her MO; her comfort zone. But DN is all about getting out of your comfort zone and she needed the other characters* to do that.

I don’t get the impression readers wanted Corrupt 2.0 with Emory. They just wanted Emory to not be so…empty. But her being empty when away from the other characters was sort of the point? At least that’s what I understood.

The only difference between Alex and Emory in terms of dealing with an unexpected change in circumstances that is that Alex continued to party and have those experiences, while Emory didn't. But they both did what they knew.

Partying didn't make Alex more valid or less depressed in the same way that Emory focusing on her career and family didn't make her more pathetic or less successful at life.

Is the point that Alex was able to ignore her pain while Emory wasn't?Or is the point that both were just as valid?

I dislike the comparison because it's been picked up by the fandom with no real goal in sight. Just pick a side and pit these two girls against each other.

sidenote, I do see the reason for Aydin, lol. I’ve given the wrong impression. Like with Alex, I feel that his character could have been utilized better to get the point across, but I do see his character as needed for Emory’s story. But to frame Emory as a girl who has trust issues, to then put her in an environment surrounded by people she knows can’t be trusted, and then have her develop a deep and complex relationship with possibly the least straight forward person in five days because of what? “You are the storm”??? I don’t know, but I’m doubtful. I just think there were ways the Aydin/Emory storyline could have been done better, not that it wasn’t necessary.)

It’s a frustrating point for me that we don’t really know what kinds of interactions Emory had with the horsemen in high school. Because her story breaks from the structure that we got with the other couples, in that we didn’t get to see the starting point and then see it develop.

With Rika and Michael, we know she’s been around the Crist family since she was born and we even got to see the moment Michael held her for the first time when he was three.

We got to see Kai and Banks’ first meeting in the confession booth.

We also got Winter and Damon’s first and second meetings.

For all of them, we’re given a clear understanding and context of where their relationships stands and we get to watch it unfold from there.

But with Emory, we’re sort of just dropped in the middle. We know Will’s been chasing her around since she was a freshman; we know the horsemen know about his crush, and we learn Kai is more or less supportive and Damon hates it. Michael is…meh?

It’s hard to determine what kind of interactions Emory would have had with them before it came to a head in NF. But I don’t think any of them had strong opinions on Emory outside of what Will thought of her. I don't know if it would have mattered had Emory acted any differently, since it was never about her for them. It was always about Will and what he wanted. If he wanted her, then there wasn’t much to question. We want what we want, after all. It was the other students in school who thought Emory was weird and cold, which is why Rika was so confused when Michael said Will loved her.

My issue with their reaction was always that they heard the same story we did. Emory’s recounting of the events that lead her back to Thunder Bay that day was what she told Will and the others on the train.

To summarize her version of events:

She comes across the videos on social media and reports them.

Immediately drops everything to fly back to Thunder Bay, using her own money since we know Martin didn't pay for it.

She intends to defend Will, going so far as to reveal the abuse by Martin to support Will's story.

She is blackmailed with the death of her grandmother.

And…they had no sympathy? They acted like they wouldn’t have made the same selfish decision.

Why would she have relied on them when they’d done nothing to prove themselves reliable to her. They weren’t her friends. Will hadn’t spoken to her in over a year, Damon antagonized her, and for all she k knew, Kai was just a kind face. But he was still a horsemen and loyal to Will, not any kind of friend to her. She didn’t even know they were the ones who had assaulted Martin at first, and when she did find out she went back to defend them. They seem to ignore this fact??? Did they not hear the same story? If they had shown themselves to be people she could turn to, and she then hadn’t, then her act of “betrayal” would be an actual betrayal. But as it stood, she was relying on the only person she’d ever been able to rely on – herself.

These men, at this point in their lives, have everything they wanted. They’re married (or engaged), with successful careers, and families. Their reputations have been restored. Yes, Damon, Will, and Kai have trauma they wouldn’t have had otherwise, but the alternative to that was Emory letting her grandma suffer and die. Instead, she got another nine years with her.

I know their argument is “If you had saved us, we would have saved you” but I don’t believe for a second that if Emory hadn’t taken Martin’s deal, that he would have left their grandma alone. That lovely woman would have been dead before any of those boys were released on bail and Emory could explain what she needed. (Not that Emory thought that far. That’s just my HC.) But even then, getting guardianship rights to get her grandmother to safe place and away from Martin would have taken time. Time with which Martin could have done anything. Emory made the best decision she could with the facts she had.

And they didn’t care. Because it’s all about them and the things they suffered. Of course.

That was my issue with their anger. It felt unjustified when you compare and how they react when their backs are against a wall or when they feel like they’ve been wronged. Especially for someone who’s as “reasonable” as Kai, it felt like a huge double standard. To be clear, people have double standards and if this were meant to be a character flaw on their part, then it was well executed! Characters are supposed to get a reaction, good or bad, and this moment definitely got one from me. Even Michael, who I’d been pretty bored with, had my attention. I was mad, sure. But then as a character, he’d done his job.

For me, the scene on the train really showed the depth of their privilege and lack of understanding. Damon only acted the way he did because he understood the desperation of someone who’s been abused…and also he knew she was loyal because she literally helped him bury his abuser, which he doubted any of the guys would have at the time. And kept her mouth shut. And never asked him anything in return.

At first glance, it just feels like they only cared about what happened to them. After hearing her story, only at this moment learning of the letter (Will hadn’t told them) and then hearing how she was blackmailed into signing it…their anger seemed a little misplaced, to say the least. They were all taken advantage of, and realistically, that letter wasn’t what did them in, it only contributed to convincing their families not to go to trial. The videos were the most damaging, and they have no one to blame but themselves for that.

Concerning them “defending her”, they didn’t get the chance to bring Emory up – they never went to trial. They pled guilty and accepted a lower sentence to avoid the embarrassment. But we don’t know if Kai or Will would have tried to explain the real reason they assaulted Martin. They might have brought Emory up if they had the chance. I imagine Kai and his family might have at least tried to subpoena her.

That being said...

I hadn’t considered their accusation of Emory being indebt to them as a way to keep her close for Will. I legitimately thought they felt she owned them something, because of how angry they were. When you said that, I actually had to pause to consider it and that’s totally a possibility.

I thought Michael was calling her weak because she let Martin control her for so long, that she couldn’t stand up to him, and also that she hadn’t returned to face Will and them after they were released. I didn’t think he was trying to use reverse psychology on her – maybe Michael does have substance. Maybe he was trying to boost her up to be worthy of them, to see if she has it in her to fight, since she is what Will wants.

Who knows, maybe he is learning a thing or two from Banks.

Like you said, I also think it would be stupid of them just to accept her because of Will. Like with the other girls, she has to prove she belongs and can keep up. It’s also just weird that part of her proving it starts with her pleasing Alex? Personally, it was just a weird sequence of events.

I don’t know if her past was a mystery for the guys. Damon knew, Kai at least knew by the time they were hunting down Martin, and Will was pretty open about it when he threw it in Rika’s face in Corrupt, so it’s not a leap to assume Michael was aware by then. Maybe not details, but enough to know Martin deserved what he got. But even so, they probably felt her past should have no baring on her future or, more importantly, on theirs.

Edit: I also realized during editing that this person argued that they went to prison for Emory (which I still disagree with), and also stated that they might not be aware of her history and she could be a ticking-time bomb. Those two things can't both be true. The boys definitely knew about her abuse. Maybe not the entirety of it, but enough that it was bad.

This is an interesting take and worth consideration!

Overall, I don’t mind that PD tried to sell us this idea that it all worked out and that they eventually develop this bond with Emory like they have with the other characters. Primarily, I'm bothered that I never get to see it. We don’t get hints or crumbs. After Will and Emory solidify their relationship with the engagement, any time Emory is on the page the focus of the scene seems to be on other characters. I feel cheated.

Most of the storylines in DN were interesting and had PD had a bit more skill in execution, would have played out better. All the parts are there and I appreciate what PD was going for. I certainly could not have done any better or even come close to what they accomplished. At then end of the day, all writers are constantly growing and developing their skill. This was a big story and a huge undertaking and I think PD deserves credit of it. Writing is hard, completing a series is harder. Completing a large series that everyone loves is not something that just any writer can do.

Now, if anyone can convince PD to give me the deleted scenes from Nightfall that I know exist…I would certainly be grateful. My inbox is open, thank you.

17- What would make them break up? Would it be permanent?

Assuming they started dating after a Juo redemption arc (or right before or during), what could make them break up would be Juo going back to his old ways, especially after they come back. I think yes if Juo just went back on murder sprees, the break up would be permanent.

Another thing that could make them break up would be Rika’s worries for appearances. That one would take a while (and a lot of therapy) to get sorted out but I don’t think it’d be permanent.

And on Juo’s side.. if he found someone more interesting to him and stronger than Rika (unlikely, permanent), or if he got fed up with how much a good guy Rika is (likely, not permanent but like, they break up and go back together and break up again and go back and- you get the idea)

See also below, the answer for 19. Those could also provoke non permanent break-ups.

19- What do they fight about? What are their arguments like? How do they make up?

Juo’s ideals, Rika’s family (coughsnipercough), Rika’s self-harming (see this post for a tad more info on that headcanon if you want), Juo getting in legal trouble for killing or aggravated assault, that kind of thing. Both are very stubborn and cling to their ideas and beliefs. They often keep it reasonable but when it gets out of hand..

Their arguments are violent. I’m talking violent violent. See their fight in manga: they do talk a lot and pretty seriously but they also fight with all they have. The more they fight, the more they know how the other fights and the more they outdo themselves so damage is high for both of them and their environment. They don’t scream much, though, the talking is calm but the fist in the other’s teeth is not. Someone (coughsnipercough) called the social services for domestic abuse at some point.

Make up sex. Yeah. It gets violent too.

24- Any doubts about the relationship?

Mostly from other people (coughsnipercough) but yeah. Rika has abandonment issues, overthinks everything and holds his family’s opinion in high regard too so he does doubt a lot.

Juo is a yolo kind of guy so nope no doubts. Or if there are he just ignores them.

35- Do they bring out the best in each other, or the worst? Do they have a fatal flaw?

OKAY YES I LOVE TALKING ABOUT THAT.

Rika brings out the best in Juo and Juo makes Rika worse. And that’s supported by canon >:D

The way Juo was just about to change his ways just because of his talk with Rika and because he wanted to see him again? yes.

The way Rika had the full intent to actually kill Juo in cold blood and from the back in a sneak attack???? YES.

Their fatal flaws are their violent tendencies and grey morals.

A little detail I should probably start paying attention to is android vision. Depending on what they are designed for some models should have altogether better vision than others or excel in some areas while being inferior to humans in others.

Headcanon ahead:

For example Ralph as a former gardener/landscaper probably has a very refined color recognition whereas the farmer Rupert only sees one shade of yellow. And it drives Rupert crazy to watch his friend (they just have to be friends, okay?) re-arrange all those (to him) identically looking flowers. Until Ralph links with him and Rupert goes Awwwww! while seeing the world through a better graphics system.

Josh was created to lecture students what might include overseeing them during exams. If so, he is attuned to movement more than to shape/detail. He also has good hearing (to answer questions of students with a heavy accent or a speech impediment).

Androids working in factories as well as probably the broadcasters and the receptionists have keen vision, but only close-range, essentially being near-sighted. Connor might come to work one day and see Rika (ST300) wearing glasses.

All the domestic models might have even more specialized databases that allow them to see the faintest taint in foods and the smallest dirt stains, but simply fade out “unnecessary” details (being defined as whatever you need those details to be in your story). The deviant ones can train themselves out of this handicap, but only after another deviant has pointed it out to them.

In my AU better sound and graphics systems probably make up most of Brandon’s sales. All the fancy drinking, temperature experiencing and genitals stuff he sells is really niche in comparison.

For my current story I decided that years of training have given Gavin better nightvision than Daniel shipped with, although they both assume it is the other way around. Daniel has another vision-related drawback that they will discover at the worst probably moment (naturally).

Tl;dr: Different android models percieve the world differently from humans and from each other (similar to different animal species).

V’s After Ending First Impressions

Having just finished playing V’s after ending for the first time earlier today, I thought I’d share my immediate reactions. (I am posting this several hours later but I literally wrote this on a plane as soon as I finished the ending.)

Disclaimer: this is just my opinion and I’m happy to discuss it with anyone (as if anyone actually cares about my thoughts on this lmao).

Spoilers for the Forgive after ending under the cut. Sorry, mobile users?

The non-spoilers, tl;dr version: It basically felt like a very tropey fanfiction used to wrap up some loose ends and introduce some things that we thought were wrapped up but weren’t and then wrap those up? It also could have spent more time on what Yoosung called the “lovey-dovey” stuff but hey, sometimes a girl just wants more pure fluff.

So. Overall, it was… not bad? I wasn’t expecting it to be this long and have a branching ending depending on how we react. I’ve only played the Forgive route so far, since I’ve been traveling all morning, but that one… It’s fluffy. Everyone gets a happy ending.

But honestly, because of that, I feel like it’s a little bit… shallow? I mean, yes, Saeyoung gets reunited with Saeran and they deal with the issue of the prime minister and Rika’s redeemed, in a sense, but it felt… a little too deux ex machina, if that makes sense. Saeran just so happened to live through the explosion because his room was ~*specially reinforced.*~ This Mika person, who was never brought up before, is the real reason why Rika went off the deep end. I don’t know, I like that everyone is happy, but I feel like these twists they added in the after ending were designed solely to have a “everyone lives happily ever after” ending and weren’t really plotted in ahead of time? I think I’d like it more if they actually spent the time to establish that stuff before they pull it out to solve all of the unresolved plot points. Like, even if they were pre-planned, they didn’t feel that way when executed, which is my problem with them.

Of course, I don’t know how the Judgment ending goes but I imagine it’ll be a bit different? I suppose I’ll have to play that one and see if that’s more of what I was looking for, except I felt like some of those responses were too harsh, you know? But anyway, I’ll find out later. Maybe tonight lol.

That being said, seeing V carry Saeran on his back with that bright smile and optimistic outlook on their future gave me LIFE and the little slice of domesticity with Lucy (was she intentionally named similarly to Luciel?) had me WEEPING in the airport so like. You know. Trade-offs.

So, overall, did I like it? Yeah, it was pretty good, and the sheer length of it sort of explains the 1.5 year wait that we had to get it. Do I think it’s worth the whopping 560 (?) hourglasses? Ehhhhh. We’ll see how I feel after playing the Judgment version. Which, incidentally, costs another 100 hourglasses to reset so like. Damn, Cheritz. Really trying to get us to spend money on this game.

Will I keep this as my own canon with Eunbyeol? I want to say no for now, but I don’t want to give a gut reaction without really getting time to think about this whole plot in full, compared to my own headcanons, so come back to me later.

Now when Rika does cook in the morning she always does it shirtless with sweapants or shorts on and a sportsbra

This has absolutely lead to several makeout sessions in the kitchen in the morning where you two almost forgot about the food

So yeah safe to say she does it just to get a rise out of you

Rika will always expect and very lovingly demand a morning kiss before she goes off to work

She in fact will not leave until she gets her dose of your kisses before she leaves

If you try to deprive her of her morning kiss, she will go to lengths to get what she wants

Her methods include picking you up, pinning you to the wall, chasing you around the house, tickling you, ect

Dont deprive her of her kisses unless you want to face the consequences unless you want those which I mean, valid

While Rika is gone and at work, she will always send you random texts around lunchtime to remind you to eat something

Sometimes she will even have a lunch or leftovers she saved for you to eat and she will remind you of that

On all the lunches she prepares for you, she will always leave a little note to remind you of her love for you

She’s a simp what can I say

Along with her texts to remind you to eat, she will always send you random I love you texts

Along with any funny pictures or videos of the other league members while she was at work

If theres a challenger that stuck out to her or a match she easily won, she will call you to boast about her victory and/or give you all the details

She also does random I love you calls simply because when she thinks about you she misses your voice and wants to hear it

“Rika, why did you call I thought you were busy?”

“Mmm I just missed your voice baby.”

Whenever you need to ramble or rant about something to Rika she will always listen intently, soaking in every single word you are saying

She will also keep eye contact with you as you talk and she will have the most lovestruck look in her eyes

Sometimes she cant handle the amount of love she has for you and she just has to give you a kiss before you can continue

“Sorry love, you can keep talking now.”

When Rika comes home, she’s always ready to give you a big hug and just hold you to her chest

She wraps her arms around you, pulling you in close and rubbing your back as she presses kisses to your temple, forehead, cheeks, anywhere her lips can reach

She always eats dinner with you if possible

If she is away during dinner, she will call you while she eats so that you two can still eat together even though she is away

As far as goodnights go

Rika always holds you as you both fall asleep, she needs you snug and safe in her arms as you drift off to dreamland together

Which makes any overnight trips incredibly difficult for her

If you’re gone overnight or she is, she will always call to fall asleep on the phone with you

But her quality of sleep isnt as good as it is when she has you snuggled up against her

She’s tried everything to get decent sleep whenever you or her are gone for the night; weighted blankets, hugging pillows, hugging stuffed animals, ect

Nothing can beat how soundly she sleeps when you’re with her

And when you two do get to fall asleep in the same bed, she has to give you a million goodnight kisses

She also can’t sleep before she tells you she loves you and until she hears it back

So dont fall asleep before you can tell her, K?

Pokemon AU: RFA+Mint Eye as Pokemon Trainers

Ok,I’m a sucker for Pokemon almost as much as I am for Mystic Messenger so I had to write this AU... I hope you like it (and sorry to the people in my askbox because this took forever to be made so is the only think I’ve worked on this week)

Warning: This is full of spoilers, like everywhere and from every route

RFA Member Yoosung wants to battle

Since he is still unsure of what to do with his life I don’t think he has a preferred type on his team despite him having quite a few normal types.

His team is mostly composed of cute and energetic pokemon (Lillipup, Buneary, Ambipom, Pachirisu) but in case of needing they can still give a good fight.

He caught a Rockruff because it was cute and with time it evolved into Lycanroc a Pokemon that is loyal and protective like Yoosung is to MC in his route.

Similar he caught Goomy because it was cute and looked like a slime (he is a gamer kid after all) and as they trained together it evolved into his most powerful and beloved Pokemon.

Pachirisu besides the reasons already given is very protective of its food and it reminded me of Yoosung and his HBC bag

Lillipup came into his team after Rika’s Herdier died but after Rika dying not too long after he found himself unable to evolve it till he meets MC. Towards the end of his route it becomes a Stoutland.

RFA Member Zen wants to battle

I do know beautiful is not a Pokemon type but a contest attribute, the reason I chose is because I firmly believe Zen is a contest trainer therefore he hasn’t got a main type.

His family runs a gym and he was expected to succeed his brother as gym leader but he loved acting, singing and pretty Pokemon so he ran away to become a contest trainer.

Lurantis and Vivillion are Pokemon that look pretty and elegant so I think they’d fit him well

Munna is a Pokemon that protects the dreams of its trainer with its psychic powers so I chose it because of Zen’s psychic dreams

Arcanine, besides being a beautiful Pokemon this big dog is loyal and protective; Much like Zen.

For Gallade I have no much explanation, his ace is a beautiful knight on white armor (he probably owns the mega-stone too)

When he was a kid he caught a Feebas and kept it since he felt identified because everybody said it was weak and ugly. After running away and start winning contests Feebas beauty stat raised to the point it evolved into Milotic.

RFA Member Jaehee wants to battle

(Confession time: I was very tempted to give her Meloetta because of her love for musicals but I didn’t want to use legendaries so I had to leave it out… maybe in the future I’ll write about RFA and legendary Pokemon)

I hadn’t planned her to have a defined favorite type but as the Pokemon were chosen the flying type became evidently fitting since flying is associated with freedom and her route is about her freeing herself from expectations and finding her happiness.

Throh is the Judo pokemon so it fits her pretty well

Noctowl, owls are known to be smart and this particular one along his pre-evolution is based on clocks as for most her route Jaehee is running against time also is nocturnal and this poor woman never sleeps.

Fletchinder and Altaria are both known for being beautiful and have pretty singing voice which I bet she’d appreciate in her team since she loves Zen’s musicals.

Swanna is partly inspired in the tale of the ugly duckling and it reminded me of Jaehee forcing herself to wear office oufits, short hair and glasses for her job despite her loving long hair and pretty dresses, probably when she met MC she had a ducklett and it evolved with time.

Oricorio Pom-Pom style (Caught by MC) Knowing Jaehee liked musical Pokemon and that this particular one is known for cheering up depressed trainers MC caught one and gave it to her as a gift.

RFA Member Jumin wants to battle

As you might have imagined this man has mostly cat pokemon

Also his team is not very battle orientated since he is a businessman not a fighter and thought his team can hold a pretty good fight he keeps them mostly as company.

This rational man that is also interested on paranormal stuff screams Psychic type. Thought he only has 1 ghost type I think he might be pretty knowledgeable on the type since he is interested on magic.

Meowstic is the only female on his team (is a white female cat inspired on a domestic cat…so, basically Elizabeth the 3rd)

Alolan Meowth they are the pets of wealthy families so probably Jumin got a Meowth from his father who has a Persian.

Alakazam, since they are incredibly intelligent and with amazing psychic powers I bet Jumin wants one on his team…. Similarly grumping has great psychic power too.

Espeon is cute and thought not exactly a cat is pretty close. I have headcanon that MC suggests him to get and Eevee like hers because they are good friends and could help him open up… he wasn’t trying to evolve it, it just happened.

I already said, this man is interested in magic so a witch inspired pokemon like Mismagius is a need on his team.

It wasn’t on purpose but I couldn’t help but mention most of his team is purple and even in shades similar to his hearts.

RFA member Saeyoung wants to battle

Since he is a hacker he has electric pokemon related to electronics like Rotom, Magneton and Vikavolt.

By the way he said hackers were like cockroaches so it seems fitting he has electric bug Pokemon as Joltik and Vikavolt (sadly there is no Pokemon inspired on cockroaches)

Beheeyem is an alien with the ability to rewrite people’s memories which is both very fitting with his personality at the beginning of the story and useful for a secret agent.

Vikavolt is inspired on a bug, a battery and an alien so is no wonder is his ace.

Plusle is not in his team at the beginning of the story though he caught it on his childhood. The reason is because is a symbol of the past he is hiding. As he and MC head to rescue Saeran Plusle becomes an important member of the team.

When they were kids Saeyoung and Saeran found the eggs of Plusle and Minun and decided to raise them; hiding them from their mother who didn’t allow them to have pokemon. When Saeyoung joins the agency he keeps Plusle but can have him on his team because is part of the past he supposedly erased but he always keeps it close because it reminds him of Saeran.

RFA leader Jihyun wants to battle

This man has such a free and creative soul that I don’t think he’d have a main type

I don’t really think I need to explain why Smeargle is his ace; is a painter after all.

Maractus is quite evident too, this man loves his cacti.

Chansey and Audino are both pokemon who main role is to be healers which is what Jihyun wants to do for his friends, heal their pain and keep them safe… also Chansey is related to good luck which Jihyun needs.

I’m going to hell for giving him a Cubone, I know. But Cubone wears it’s mother skull on its head till it evolves into Marowak when is replaced for its own and since one of the biggest traumas Jihyun carries with is his mother dead he’d probably feel very close to this Pokemon.

He adopted Cubone after his mother dead but it didn’t evolve till his 2 year trip after his route.

Braviary is known for protecting its friends without stopping to consider consequences, very similar to Jihyun.

Mint Eye admin Ray wants to battle

He like plants and beautiful/cute stuff so his specialty would be Grass and Fairy

Roselia, of course flower boy’s ace would be inspired on a rose. Also it has a blue rose (unattainable) and a red rose (love)

Mimikyu hides it’s true self because it wants to be loved and make friends, just like Ray.

His savoir has a Florges so he in his admiration for her, he adopts Flabebé (one with a Blue flower) and raises it to become Floette. He dreams that one day his savoir will acknowledge his hard work and loyalty and will grant him a shiny stone so he can evolve Floette into Florges.

Mareep, it cute and cuddly so he probably would like it, also it produces electricity so it becomes helpful in his job as a hacker; especially on the firsts stages of the building of Magenta when he didn’t have permanent access to electricity (Also sheep are associated with sleeping and this boy needs a nap)

I chose Chespin mostly based on the XY series rather than the game itself. Clemont’s Chespin was really cute and loved sweets which I think suits Ray.

Cherubi, based on the chatroom in which him consideres destroying the stronger branch of his plant to let the weak survive because when Cherubi is ready to evolve the smaller cherry dries up; (Also you know he has no respect for the 4th wall, so Cheritz reference)

Mint Eye admin Saeran wants to battle

I like the idea of his specialities being somewhat the opposite of Ray’s. Dark is contrary to Fairy (which symbolizes light) and Poison (associated to death) is quite contrary to Grass (Plants are the base of life) but despite that the reason is because of how dark his personality becomes and poison for the elixir.

His team in this case is composed of pokemon known to look scary and aggressive but that tend to be very protective of themselves or their master (since he tries to prove he is the stronger by being aggressive to MC yet he keep obeying his savoir) like Houndoom, Liepard and Mightyena.

The choice of Type:Null is rather similar but I wanted to expand a little here. Type:Null was created by humans as a weapon and it resulted to be too powerful so it has to be contained by that helmet or it might lose control and go against it’s trainer…. Which is exactly what Rika does to him with the elixir… in a minor point is very aesthetically fitting.

(I was rather reluctant to choose this one since it falls in a grey area between being and not being a legendary but it fitted too well to leave it out)

Toxapex is also similar to the others but rather than taking the offensive this pokemon hides on a hard poisonous shell.

Zweilous two heads are in constant conflict and the one that gets more food gets to be in control of the body which reminds of the relationship between Ray and Saeran during this part of his route.

RFA Member Saeran wants to battle

He said it. He is both Ray and Saeran so he keeps both of his teams aces and since he reached a new stage on his life so do those pokemon.

Roselia evolves through shiny stone. MC gives one to him after escaping Mint Eye since she knew how much he wanted one. But he is now free from Rika’s influence so instead of evolving Floette (which represents he relationship with Rika) he decides to use it on the Pokemon that represents Ray, thus Roselia becomes Roserade.

Type:Null on the other hand evolves through friendship stopping it’s agresive behavior when it meets a partner it fully trust therefore no longer needing the helmet. So basically when Saeran decides to leave Mint Eye and open his heart to love and friendship Type:Null evolves into Silvally

Skiploom, I kind of cheated here because this is based on something we learn about Saeran on the secret endings rather than on his route but I think it stills applies to him. Skiploom is based on a flower and a bulb and likes to float through the wind similar to how Saeran likes to be able to see the sky.

Lillygant, he caught this one the night on the cabin when he leaves to pick the flowers. Lillygant produces a relaxing smell, gets along with other pokemon pretty easily, is very beautiful and loyal so when he found one he immediately thought of MC and decided to add it to his team.

Swirlix, sweet candy pokemon which reminds of cotton candy and ice cream is perfect for this guy (I know vanillite family is literally ice-cream but somehow I feel swirlix fits Saeran better)

Minun; the same as with Saeyoung. He kept minun with him all time after Saeyoung disappeared but after joining Mint Eye he kept it on its pokeball because the memory of his brother’s betrayal was too painful, yet he didn’t have the heart to get rid of it. When he starts working with the intelligence unit to find Saeyoung Minun becomes part of his team.

Mint Eye Leader Rika wants to battle

When she was in RFA she was a Fairy type trainer because she wanted to be good and didn’t want anybody to notice the darkness within her but when she embraces her demons she becomes more fond of Dark type (even though there is only 1 dark type pokemon on his team)

Vespiquen, this pokemon is the queen of the hive which is the role the savoir plays at Mint Eye.

Solrock, I don’t need to explain this…you all saw that coming.

Shiinotic, it produces powerful spores that Rika uses to make the elixir.

Florges (Yellow Flower) this is based on the chatroom with V on Ray route in which he talks about the daffodil on his garden, Florges absorbs energy from the surrounding plants.

Absol, they are believed to be a bad omen and bring disgrace which is pretty much how Rika lived as a child so it became her closest friend from the day she caught it when she was a child. When she started going out with V she hide it because she didn’t want him to reject her but when she discovers V sees nothing wrong with her Absol it becomes a permanent member of her team

Herdier (based on Sally) died on battle. It was a very traumatic experience for Rika from which she never got over so the spot on her team was left forever empty.

Since you mentioned it how would MC be able to convince ray to leave mint eye and possibly get him treatment? (Cause everyone knows the kid is fuCKED) and any domestic headcanons for how the two live after they escape?

I got two asks about this, ahaha! Lil spoilery so under a cut it goes, to be safe!

I’m not quite too sure how this would pan out, to be honest. I feel like either

A- He’s conflicted about the way he feels with you. The savior is the person he’s supposed to hold in the highest regard, but he finds himself focusing more on you as each day passes. As the two of you get closer together, and your worries about the elixir hurting him fueling him to prolong taking it himself for a few days, he starts wanting to please you more than his savior. Maybe with a little convincing, you could get him to leave. Though, with this way, I can’t really see him willing to do that unless you get into a fight with Rika (verbally) and how you react to it is what sways his opinion, or he just….Gets too obsessed with you and starts to want to listen to you more (that sounds very unlikely though abfhs sorry)

B- You managing to get Seven to realize who the hacker is. Obviously in this situation MC wouldn’t know about them being related (Unless she heard that both Ray and Seven had brothers and knew that they were kinda looking for each other, and any small extra details she could piece together?), and maybe something she said would tip Seven off. Maybe she would keep mentioning how Ray seemed to dislike Seven and said he betrayed him, maybe she would point out they seemed to look a little alike- Maybe just something would connect that would cause Seven to be able to go help him out without that horrible fucking thing happening on day ten (Do you hear the sound of me pretending that didn’t happen?).

Situation B seems more plausible. A seems like it would take a long amount of time to work, and it seems unlikely Ray would be willing to leave Mint Eye. I would say that….I would rather it be Seven getting him out of Mint Eye, and then Mc not doing anything romantic with him for a while. Not until he gets those drugs out of his system, any remnants of it at least, and then after a healthy amount of time getting therapy, them trying to handle a relationship together!

He’s probably going to end up living with his brother again, like usual. Some key things is that

-You’ll have to be patient with him

- He’s going to be pretty timid usually

- And that you’re going to have to step into a relationship slowly

Like taking a while to have your first kiss (Or redo it, if you kissed him while in Mint Eye, or something), easing into the two of you holding hands and stuff like that. He needs a lot of time so he doesn’t accidentally slip into obsessive thoughts again.

He’s going to have bad days (Wants to stay in his room, doesn’t want to talk to anyone, so on), so the two of you are going to have to be ready for that, and ready to give each other space when needed.

✿ I’m so weak for happy domesticity.

all this man ever wanted was a happy, domestic life.

Seriously, it’s been his dream since he was a child! His parents were weird and absent, Jumin’s dad was… Jumin’s dad, and V has otherwise lead an isolated existance. All he knows of a happy marriage is what he sees on TV, and growing up, he desperately fantasized about having something like that.

He thought he’d had that with Rika, but - well.

well.

V’s life has not been everything he ever hoped and dreamed.

Until he met you, he thought that maybe… those dreams were just that, dreams, ephemeral and transient and something he could never grasp with his own two hands. But you showed him love, happiness, and a light as sweet and gentle as the glow of the fireflies in the summertime, and V tentatively begins to hope.

V begins to find out what a happy routine is like.

He wakes up earlier than you, so he puts on coffee for you both. He’s absentminded sometimes, so you’re the one who does the laundry and folds the clothes, and V does the dishes, because you’re the one who usually cooks, and he thinks it’s Only Polite.

Gradually, spare surfaces in your home are covered with various forms of ornamental cactus. V is minimalist, so, aside from his photographs hanging on the wall and the clothes in his closet, it’s the only real sign that he lives there, too.

V takes pictures of every happy occasion. Valentine’s Day? Your birthday? His birthday, where you make him a cactus cake just because you thought it’d be funny?

He fills a photo album with these memories, and the regular, random, everyday bullshit that he decides to capture with his camera.

It’s a little strange to you, because V’s photographs are so amazing that… he should be taking pictures of amazing, momentous subjects, right? But V doesn’t feel like that at all.

To him, this regular, everyday life is amazing and momentous. The fact that he has a routine with you is incredible.

V takes pictures of what makes him happy, and you trudging into the kitchen to make blueberry pancakes for him every weekend makes him happier than anything in the world.

Unknown (Saeran)

this boy has no experience with domesticity and it’s weird you’re weird this is weird WHAT’S GOING ON.

You have to teach him to do all this mundane bullshit. How to fold laundry! How to wash the sheets! How to run the dishwasher, because while he’s basically a hacking god he’s never washed anything in his life and thinks that the humming sound it makes is the work of the devil.

(seriously, the washing machine makes a clunking sound the first time he tries to start it and he goes into panic mode thinking it’s going to explode.)

One day you walk into him having an argument with the TV because it WON’T DISPLAY PICTURE and HE TURNED IT ON THE LIGHT IS ON HE SEES THE POWER BUTTTON IS LIT UP WHAT IS GOING ON

sweetie it’s set to the wrong input.

He’s also Not Super Great with the neighbors. Like old little lady Kim tries to say hello to him and he insults her hat and runs inside to hide.

(luckily that is smoothed over by introducing him to little old lady Kim’s dog, who he loves and cherishes and wants to protect.)

Saeran starts putting food out for the stray cats because he Feels Bad, and you end up starting a cat sanctuary in your back yard without meaning to.

this is fine, you suppose, it’s about what you expected.

Every evening when you get home from work and if Saeran isn’t busy with his freelance programming work, the two of you cuddle and watch TV. (Though it should be said that cuddling with Saeran is more like him sprawling across your lap like a needy animal.)

It’s in these peaceful moments where you’re like - yeah. Yeah, okay.

This is pretty good.

Despite everything, things are going to be okay.

Vanderwood

Never once did Mary Vanderwood the III expect to be domestic, but they’re actually pretty good at it.

They are hyper organized. They put a white-board on the wall and there’s a meticulously neat white board listing all the chores that need doing them and who’s doing them that day.

(Seriously, they must have drawn the lines with a ruler!)

You make them a bagged lunch in the morning, and always include a sweet note for them to find during their workday. On the weekends, they wake up early and make you a full breakfast, complete with pancakes, bacon, and eggs done exactly the way you like them.

They’re pretty good with the neighbors. They form friendships with some of the other house wives and house husbands around and share cooking tips, cleaning tips, and general home maintenance woes.

ok but Vanderwood would love buying cooking magazines and would collect home decorating tips on pinterest.

Vanderwood is the type of person who buys fancy sugars, salts, and spices, so your cooking cabinet is an amalgamation of exotic (but really good tasting!) ingredients.

They’re always trying new things to make your house cute and homey and it’s adorable.

The two of you read together in the evenings, with their arm around you and your books in your respective laps, and sometimes you’ll read them a line you really like, and they’ll do the same for you.

Hey! I really, really love your headcanons. They're so cool. If you feel like it, what would the RFA/V/Saeran think if MC was a renown thief? I kinda imagine the robin hood style, where they give to the needy. But they could be greedy. But just imagine, full on suit and mask, secret thief persona person! :D

Yoosung is, and has been, your fan!

He always reads about you on the internet and thinks your whole gig is crazy but super cool

He’s completely floored when he finds out. To the point where he’s torn between whether or not he actually believes it?

It doesn’t help that the next best thing to confirm it aside from you literally pulling a heist right in front of him is Seven’s word lol

In the end he believes you since you don’t back down from your stance (or deny it, depending upon the exact nature of the reveal)

Then, he has a brief crisis over the fact that not only are you THAT thief, but that you’re... dATING??? HIM?????

Tempted at first to gloat to all his friends about knowing you dating you DATING YOU but then he realizes he can’t give away your secret identity! And he gets super serious about ~protecting~ you from being revealed to anyone else

Zen

“Wait what”

Totally did not see that coming like omg

He’s heard of your thief persona but honestly didn’t really believe the stories?

The night after he finds out he totally goes and scours the internet for everything he can find on your escapades

Him after reading every article: “No way. There’s no way MC did that. WTF.” Sits there with his head in his hands for a good thirty minutes just, in shock.

After he’s over the initial disbelief/surprise, Zen gets really enthusiastic about it. He’ll ask you how you did some of your more athletic feats and if you could teach him how to jump buildings and crazy stuff like that because think of the stunts he could pull off!!!

“I swear they’re gonna make a play or movie about you someday and I’m gonna be in it. I’ll make sure they keep you in character. And that I get the role of the love interest. ;)”

Jaehee

Really isn’t sure how to react at first! On the one hand you’re a wonderful person and she loves you but. Stealing is bad. That’s illegal.

seven knew you were a wanted criminal and he let you join the organization jaehee is gonna hAVE SOME WORDS

but then she’s totally torn because if it hadn’t been for that you wouldn’t have known each other....

After a brief period of terrible uncertainty on her part, she finally has to give in to the romantic aspect of the whole thing... she does like that you’re kind of a modern-day Robin Hood; it’s like you’re a character straight from a fantasy book or something and she’s weak for that

In all seriousness though I think she would (at least eventually) try to persuade you to give up that life, because she can’t bear to think what would happen if you ever got caught or hurt

Jumin

Hm. Things might be a little awkward at first once it’s revealed

whoops you went and fell for the person you may or may not have been stealing from (whether that be theoretically or literally)

Though maybe you spared C&R in particular? It’s a bit vague but Jumin himself at the very least is definitely charitable with his money and supports good causes

Either way you’re probably gonna have to say goodbye to your thieving days if you wanna be with him, for many different reasons... the first and foremost being he wants you to be safe

but also like... pls stop doing illegal things that’s not good for any of us jumin admires helping the less fortunate but nOT LIKE THAT

Seven

Oh, he knew right from the start exactly who you were, of course

Half the reason he let you join the RFA was: “lmao”

The other half was because he was intrigued! Someone to be kinda on-par with him vocation-wise in the RFA would be... interesting, to put it one way

Also, like Yoosung, he’s kind of your fan. He really likes the concept of using morally questionable means for good, because if someone else can do it then maybe he can too

You can throw the “I’m a dangerous person~” line right back at him and he gets frustrated because dammit he wants to protect you why’d you have to go and get yourself a dangerous job

Makes him feel a little better about bringing you along to Mint Eye though, ha. Your skills certainly don’t hurt to have in that situation

After he gives up being a secret agent, he convinces you to retire from thievery as well so you can live semi-normally, domestically, and happily ever after

ah, let’s take a trip down the long, winding path that is the analysis of v’s morals and exactly how he would react to something like this

He’s surprised at first, as to be expected. But perhaps not so expected is his enthusiastic support for you

It’s all for a righteous and pure cause, so he sees no reason to try and stop you

Always tells you to be careful and safe though! But he trusts you know what you’re doing so he’s not too worried about you getting hurt/caught

Vows to keep your secret at pretty much all costs he’s good at keeping secrets h a whoops sorry ilu v

Saeran

Like Seven, he knows who you are from the start

Or at least he found out pretty quickly after he started guiding you towards Rika’s apartment

He was a little bemused at how easily he was able to manipulate you, considering you’re a master thief? (perhaps you let yourself be manipulated...?)

After the main events of the story and you guys end up together, you try to bring the subject up with him and he’s just “Yeah I know.”

“Ah... right. Should have figured as much.”

He’s doesn’t care all that much about the whole Robin Hood theme you have, but he loves you so he offers to help out in any way he can -- hacking security cameras, scouting, taking out guards (non-lethally, if you prefer), etc.

Seven eventually finds out about this and is a bit unhappy about it because he wants his brother to stay out of trouble! :( But he knows that if Saeran really wants to do something there’s no stopping him.

Seven will make his feelings on the subject clear, though, and might try to convince you to stop, if not for your own sake then Saeran’s because absolutely nothing good would come of him getting caught
