Summary: Date night at a scare attraction with Reader!

Halloween Headcanons - Haunted House Edition Pt. 1

Raph:

isn't too thrilled about the idea, would rather stay home with y/n and watch scary movies

but how can he say no to those cute lil' eyes?

has to hype himself up while waiting in line to be brave for y/n

"you can do this, raph. you're big. you're strong. you're definitely not afraid of a dumb ol' haunted house."

he will cling onto them the entire time and hide his face in their back

his arms will not leave their waist; it's his only lifeline rn

is v careful not to squeeze too hard tho

makes it farther than he usually does with his bros

does it all for y/n; he's gotta be there to protect them after all

has never made it all the way to the end tho

it usually ends with him running out of the house screaming like a little schoolgirl

carries y/n bridal style while he's running

refuses to stop until they've made it all the way back to the lair

promises to make it up to them every time tho

Donnie:

honestly? why even bother?

he can show you scarier things out on the streets of new york than you'd ever see at a cliche scare attraction

begrudingly goes anyways; pretends its against his will but any time spent with y/n makes him v happy

not that he'd ever admit it

spends most of the time pointing out where and when most scares will occur

it really ruins the surprise for y/n but he genuinely doesn't notice he does it

"cue yet another garish hockey slasher approaching from the left corridor in 3... 2... 1...."

will occasionally tease y/n for getting scared but never pushes them past their limit

if y/n decides to tap out early, he'll understand

doesn't stop him from reaching the end tho

decides to video chat with y/n the entire time tho to show them "what they're missing out on /s"

adds a few unenthusiastic aaaah's while he's still inside to cheer y/n up for tapping out early

Leo:

oho he is going to milk this opportunity to be your knight in shining armor

cocky and smug the entire time

promises y/n that they have nothing to fear as long as lightning leon is around!

will absolutely melt if y/n clings onto him

might even carry them koala bear style if they're too scared to move

"no te asustes, mi amor! let these big, strong arms protect you from the scary monsters!"

will probably jump out to scare y/n a few times

knows when to stop tho; he's not heartless!

finds it cute how scared they get and will let them know again and again how adorable they are

if y/n decides to tap out early, he does get a bit pouty but will leave with them

makes up for all his teasing with a big share of his candy haul

Mikey:

won't say no to a date night with y/n!!

he'd jump into an active volcano if it meant getting to spend time with them!!

he doesn't mind if it's a bit scary for him.....

does his best to reassure y/n that they shouldn't be too scared! mikey's got their back!

is incredibly good at putting a brave face on the entire time

will cling to y/n as much as he can

might get a bit spooked every now and then, but as long as y/n's with him, he can power through anything

checks in often to make sure y/n is okay

"a-are you good to keep going? n-not that i'm scared, i just want you to feel safe!"

will immediately tap out if y/n starts getting overwhelmed or uncomfortable

if y/n makes it through to the end, he will absolutely brag to everyone about how brave and cool they are

April:

she knows all the best spots and is psyched to take y/n to all of them!

will make a whole date week of it

v encouraging and supportive of y/n the whole time if they show any fear

"as long as we stick together, we've got this thing in the bag! we're the power couple to end all power couples!"

doesn't mind y/n clinging onto her and uses her hoodie as a face cover if they get a bit too scared

if she does get scared (rare), she will instictively reach out for y/n's hand

would never tease y/n for getting scared, but will giggle at how undeniably cute their screams are

lots of "scared face" selfies!!

tries to encourage y/n to keep going if they start slowing down but will not hesitate to tap out if needed

takes y/n to meet all the scare actors after closing to help them get over their fears a bit

likes to end the night with a horror movie marathon and a sweets binge

Cass:

doesn't understand it.... but if it makes y/n happy then she must oblige

might need to be talked through the concept a few times while waiting in line

is a bit surprised and caught off guard if y/n decides to cling onto her

she won't reject it, she's just unsure how to reciprocate

she's definitely beat up a few scare actors that've gotten a little too close to y/n for comfort

"the masked one dares to threaten my y/n?! you will suffer unending retribution for your insolence!!"

will get incredibly angry if someone scares y/n too badly and demand an apology (and all of their candy)

keeps a close eye on y/n the entire time

if y/n decides to tap out early, she will swoop them up and carry them straight to the door

refuses to let them walk afterwards until they're absolutely 100% certain they're okay and not dying or anything

will consider it an incredible triumph if y/n makes it all the way to the end and will not let them forget just how amazing they are

Casey Jr:

he's a bit wary at first, but he'd do anything to make y/n happy

is nervous and a bit worried for y/n

what if y/n gets hurt? what if they end up getting traumatized from all the scares? would they make fun of him for being afraid? would they see him as weak?

stays on guard the whole time; firmly plants himself between y/n and anything that might scare them

will become a flustering mess if y/n decides to hold onto him for comfort tho

insanely protective and ready to defend; had broken a few props bc of this tho

checks in even more than mikey; is just incredibly worried for y/n

"are you alright, y/n? do we need to leave? just let me know when you need anything. i'm right here for you."

if y/n decides to tap out, casey won't hesitate to pick them up bridal style and rush through the nearest exit

growing up in the apocalypse, casey is v quick to make an escape so getting out won't be a problem for him

Sorry about that I have a idea block in my head.

When you first met April she was a reporter who is busy to tell everyone a story on the news paper you are new to the city and new school when you move in to Manhattan aka. New York City.

You began to talk to her as you realised that you see her as a sister figure. When you found her suspicious you followed her as you were outside seeing a 4 turtles outside fighting Baron Draxum.

You don’t trust them at first than you warmed up to them and suddenly become friends.

Raph would teach you to be safe,strong,comfort and lessons he’s like a big brother to you whenever you feel comfortable.

Leo would lighten up the moods and break into your house when you are in unicorns onesies and then he stole the unicorn onesies from your closet.

Donnie would play Just Dance with you him and his brothers are good at dancing as you would vibe with him playing video games and sometimes you helped him creating his new inventions.

Mikey would be cooking delicious food for you and draw arts together. Somehow he would give you therapy when you try to hide it from him but…he could sense your sadness.

When you meet their dad Splinter you somehow disgusted at first but you sometimes watch interesting movies with him as you sat the arm of the chair watching movies with him you wouldn’t mind about you sitting down next to him.

Draxum became a father to the turtles you are unsure about it when you ate dinner with him.

Draxum would randomly pick you up when you space out standing there like a statue you are confused when he picks you up wrapping his arms around your stomach like a pillow as he just puts you on the beanbag as he leaves without any words. You would make a computer error sound in your head LOL.

Cassandra is a very competitive and loud when you first encounter her. You get to know each other since you warm up. She would teach you how to play hockey with you as you almost trip over multiple times and struggling to skate like a wobbly fawn.

After 2 years later Casey Jr is from the apocalyptic future since he did not know what it like in New York City life. You teaching him how to use a phone,fashion,arts and self care. He would mention about your future self that you were a parental figure to him and about your life. You would blink when he say that as you would pat his back in comfort.

You were just at the lair one day pretty early, that's because you decided to spend the night which was fun bit sleeping arguments were tuff. But you ended up sleeping in the bottom 'bunk' below donnie, he had to make it into a bed though, it was awkward. It was the moment we're you just stand there while he's doing the bed reminds you of the time your mom was yelling at you because your bed was an absolute mess, then she angrily fixed it. Thats what it felt like but Donnie was angrily doing the bed. Or yelled at you before he did the bed. So your standing in the kitchen, just making you some toast for breakfast. And it was surprisingly a great sleep you thought Donnie would snore like your dad but he didn't. So while making breakfast splinter came up to you.

"Good morning y/n, what are you making"

You looked down at splinter and smiled always glad to see splinter, he was like another dad to you.

"Good morning and I'm making toast"

You turned back just as the toaster went off.

"How'd you sleep under purple, he didn't give you any trouble did he?"

You chuckled.

"No, I thought he'd snore though but he didn't. He was just on his phone or computer most of the time I was awake."

Splinter hummed.

"Would you like to see their baby photos"

"Oh absolutely"

As soon as your brain processed what he said it was an instant yes. He took you to the living room were you snd him sat on the cough. And just as you did April walked in.

"Oh hey guys which you doing?"

You looked up at her with a big smile.

"Well we are about to look through the turtles baby pictures, wanna join"

April stood there for a second before her smile grew even more .

"Of course but let me ask Cassandra if she also wants to join so don't start looking through it yet"

April called Cassandra and asked her if she wanted to see the turtles baby photos and you snd splinter just looked at eachother knowing what's about to happen.

"She's on her way"

Not even 5 minutes later Cassandra is in front of you April and splinter.

"I hope I didn't miss anything"

"Nope just have a seat"

You watched her take a seat behind splinter because there was room. And you four looked through the baby photos and you were sure you woke the turtles up. When they all walked in obviously tired. And they all seen you four sitting there like the scene from despicable me, were grus mom showed the girls his baby photos. So they were confused.

"Why are you guys so loud"

"What you you four looking at"

The twins say at the same time, but Donnie a bit more suspicious then leo. And you could hear it in his voice. Raph was practically felling asleep were he stood, and mikey was laying on you asleep. You were just right there and didn't seem to mind.

"Oh just your guys baby photos"

All of them froze and mikey slowly sat up from your lap. They all had the same looked on their face. They were tired but scared so they had a sleepy scared look. You laughed at that as Cassandra and April looked at certain photos.

"Aw Donnie, you and glasses why didn't you tell me"

"Mikey you had braces?"

Mikey just slowly layed back down on your lap not wanting to answer that. And donnie just stood there hoping this was all a dream. In the end they all hoped you three would forget what you seen and never bring it up.

Prom

Summary: Prom is coming up and you have no one to go with; you turn to your turtle friends for help.

Warnings: Y/n uses she/her, swearing, insecurties, fluff

You stared down at the flyer in your hand, Prom, the last dance of the year before graduation. With a sigh, you stuff the flyer back into your bag before heading towards the lair.

You've been friends with the turtles for a year now. You met them when Donatello saved you from being attacked by the Kraang.

The lights of the lair illuminated the rest of the way for you. You heard shouts, confused, you continued when you saw Raph and Mikey. The two were joking around as you approached.

"Hey, is Donnie in his lab?" you ask, the two stopped,

"Yeah, he's been in there all day," Raph explained.

"Is he okay?"

"He said he was working on some project," you nod and made your way to the soft-shell turtle's lab. Your heart raced as you knocked before entering,

"Hey, are you busy?"

Donatello stopped, hearing your voice; he turned towards you with a smirk, "Well, I can take a break." He never did that, not for anyone else, at least. "What's up?"

"Can you help me?" You ask, embarrassed. His eyebrows shot up; you are asking him for help? He saw your bag in your hand.

"Why of course," he pulled out a chair for you to sit on.

"Thank you so much, I owe you," you thanked him as you pulled out your binder. After like the fifth time of explaining, you finally understood, "I'm sorry."

"About?" He asked, confused.

"Not understanding it the first time," Donnie would be lying to himself if he said that he didn't like you.

Although, you were sweet and understanding; you weren't normally his type, that scared him a bit. Donnie didn't know when he stared crushing on you; was it when you showed genuine interest in his inventions? When he first saw you smile? When you were being attacked by the Kraang?

He found out what he was feeling was love when he and April were talking, and she brought it to his attention. He scoffed, thinking that she was being ridiculous. She turned out to be right, which he still owes her money for.

Donnie nervously put his hand on yours, you turn towards him, your face slightly pink. Did he do that? Whatever did it, he liked it. "It's okay not to understand something the first time; do you think I do?" You open your mouth,

"Yes."

His heart swelled along with his ego, "As much as I'd love to boost, no I don't." In the corner of his eye, he saw a flyer by your bag. He read the words: PROM DANCE APRIL 27, FROM 6-10pm. Donnie leaned towards, picking up the paper.

You swallowed thickly as he looked at it, "Are you going?"

"I was thinking about it, but I have no to go with."

Nonsense! That was illogical, you should have plenty of dates lined up for you. His statics says so; so, why were you looking so sad.

"No one asked you?"

"No," you replied.

"Well, that's ridiculous!"

"Huh?"

"You should have plenty of dates, that's just childish," you let out a laugh.

"As much as I appreciate you trying to cheer me up, it's fine, I'll just go next year."

Donnie thought for a moment, "How about I go with you?"

"Are you sure? I thought crowds were your thing," you pointed out.

"They usually aren't big, huddled groups of people touching each other. But I want to make you happy," you stared at the genius purple turtle. He smiles softly at you, it wasn't one of his smirks, it was genuine.

"I don't want you to be uncomfortable," you whisper. "We can stay near the back, or to the side, normally, people stay in the middle," you explain.

"Excellent! Now, we must stay color coded, of course, and..." you smile at him as babbled about the importance of this that and the other.

Later, you were out dress shopping with April, Cassandra, and Jr. Jr. explained that in his timeline, Donnie never met you, mostly because of the world ending, to be honest, if Donnie hadn't saved you, you most likely would've been dead.

"Okay, how about this?" you walked out. The dress was a plum purple that was thin strapped, and a deep v-line; it had a slit going down the side of your leg. The fabric was silky, and sooth against your skin; April stared at you with wide eyes.

"You look great!" Cassandra smiled with a thumbs up.

"Gorgeous!" April squealed.

"It looks really nice on you," Jr. smiled.

"Thanks guys," you take a look at yourself in the mirror. This was like the fifth dress you tried on; you haven't felt this good in the others.

"Please say you'll pick this one," April smiled.

"Yeah, I really like it." April hugged you,

"Donnie will fall to his knees seeing you!"

Prom came around quickly than you thought; April was over at your place, she insisted on doing your make-up and hair. She worked on trying to match your eyeshadow with the color of your dress. You waited patiently to see as she worked on your face; Afterwords, she did your hair, curling it and pulling it back.

Once she was finished, she pulled away, "Vala, my masterpiece!" You looked at yourself in your vanity.

"April, I look, amazing, thank you so much," The two of you embraced after she helped you zip up the dress.

A knock on your window startled you both; April gave you a thumbs up before leaving. You heard the window open, "Ahem, I believe that...that."

Donnie cut himself off seeing you, he'd never seen you so dolled up before; Swallowing thickly, he watched you turn to face him. He had a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

"How do I look?" You ask, nervously.

"Stunning," he answered. You studied him; he was wearing a three-piece suit with the collar open. He cleared his throat, "Are you ready?" You nod, he takes your arm in his which slightly surprised you. Your mother, who had met the turtles the same day that you met them, was excited to see the purple turtle had agreed to going to prom with you. She insisted on taking pictures.

The two of you walked through the doors; you paid as he kept his head down. You kept to the sidelines, as music played; you laughed as Donnie danced, you didn't expect him to be such a great dancer.

Some people stared as you danced; mostly for Donnie, who was defiantly cutting a rug. You glance around, "Hey, are you okay?" you ask. He nodded a little shaky; thankfully, a slow song picked up. Most people moved away from the dance floor; Donnie took his hand in yours, "Are you comfortable?"

"More than comfortable," he whispered against your hair. The two of your slowly moved to the music. His free arm wrapped around your waist; you stared up at him, you've never seen such a carefree expression on his face. Sure, Donnie is laid back, but here in a crowd full of people, it felt like they weren't even there.

Donnie felt his heart race as you look up at him with your big (y/e/c) eyes. He always thought about how pretty they were; in the slow lighting of the dance room, he felt like he couldn't get enough of them.

He leaned forward without realizing, your face so close to his that he thought that he was dreaming. This felt like a dream. he leaned in the rest of the way, capturing your lips; you wrap your arms around his neck.

Pulling away, Donnie's eyes told you everything. Your heart raced as he glanced around; people were staring at you; he could care less. He'd understand why they stared, the two of you were prefect. The slow music continued; however, much to some people's dismay. Donnie was thankful, he got to hold you closer. You let out a laugh as he pulled you tighter against his plastron.

Before the lights could come on, the two of you snuck away to the rooftops. You sat as the neon lights of the city lit the sky a bit. "I had fun," you whisper.

"Well, obviously, you were smiling the entire time we were there," he went on. You playfully rolled your eyes as you grab the collar of his jacket; he stopped, as your lips met his.
