Green Arrow had a new child scientist villain. Who needs glasses?

Danny was already with the many Blob Ghosts working for him (think of them as Minions of Despicable Me). This new place is a super funny vacation place! He should think ghostwriter about it. True, his eyes were hurt by the portal, but that would be gone in a few years. But who cares about it? With just his genius and no powers as a human, he can show he is a genius! That was how Danny, without knowing it, became a wonderful child who was just having chaotic fun in the new world. It's like a game for him; it's not like he would have problems.

Batman has the Joker.

Superman has Lex Luthor.

Wonder Woman has the cheetah.

But Green Arrow! Green Arrow has a child scientist! with a tragic childhood who does musicals to explain his evil plans.

Just for the poor comedy and Oliver trying to hide it from the other heroes out of embarrassment. Of being defeated by a child and not being able to capture him. ++ Danny looked at Oliver Queen without his green Arrow mask. "An ordinary civilian with a goat?" Oliver saw as he put on his hood. Danny:"An ordinary civilian dressed up as a Green Arrow?" Oliver puts on the mask. Danny: "Ah! Green ARROW! " Green Arrow gave a tired sigh. Black Canary:" When we finally are able to capture him, The first thing we will do is send him to an ophthalmologist." Danny:" Since you are here, I wil tell you about my trash-inator!" Oliver:" So It creates trash." Danny:" NO! Man, are you evil? It collects all the trash in the whole city and teleports it away." Black Canary:" That is a pretty good indicator. You could do much goo..." Danny:" Yes, then into the Bat Cave all the trash of the Star city will go. I was paid by Red Hood to do that." Oliver:" NOO!!"

++ So because Oliver covered it up until now, Danny has now become a world-wide problem. Oliver really didn't want to say he lost a child or explain it. Danny with his Shrink Ray:" Tonight we steal the Legion of Doom HQ/The Hall of Justice!" All the Blob Ghost:" YAYY!"

And yes, Danny stole the Legion of Doom HQ/The Hall of Justice as both Heroes and Villian fought each other in a great battle.

That was the moment Oliver had to explain the problem that he had covered up.

And the only exception to this are Madteo and Dizzie, who both have a D added to their full name.

Well, Doom-Blob's name without the D would just be Oom-Blob, so we can assume the D is replacing a letter. And if we look at the original's name there is only one letter that it could be

Continuing with W.I.T.C.H. villains... Nerissa is an absolute definition of what could have been.

Like, when reading/watching her, I always have this feeling in the back of my head that she was totally supposed to be a sympathetic villain with a point, one to expose hidden darkness within Kandrakar. Only we sort of... never get any details on this. We know that it was the case that Kandrakar at some point decided that she'd steered too far onto the dark side, but we never learn what had exactly happened that made her like this. Killing Cassidy happened way past the point of no return.

And while Nerissa's efforts to corrupt Will might have been intended to mirror her own descent, this doesn't feel genuine, because of how many lies / literal mind magic she employs to make this happen. And it's especially frustrating because Will makes perfect material for corruption without that. She's so much drama by the sheer power of her own actual traumas and actual insecurities that she doesn't need to be straight up deceived (this is btw what I love about her as a character - the constant balancing on the edge of darkness). I imagine young Nerissa shared a lot of toxic personality traits with Will, but it would have been nice if we'd seen it unfold. Or at least if Nerissa tried to nudge Will into coming to the same conclusions as Nerissa had without bullshitting her about everyone secretly hating her.

The cartoon version of Nerissa makes a great narrative promise. Her intense reaction to a mention of Cassidy, "You don't know how much she meant to me" made me lose my shit for a bit and I almost melted on my couch (iirc it was also hinted at by one of the show creators that there was some romantic stuff going on between them, so, you know, it's not only me going shipping mode). And again, this plot point gets immediately axed never to be brought up again. Cassidy comes back and there is zero chemistry between the two. Cassidy is innocently oblivious to everything going on in the world of the living while Nerissa dispassionately treats her like a tool. What was that emotional display from before for? Show don't tell ffs. Also Nerissa eventually gets a Bleach villain treatment by having her actual intentions revealed in a few words during her defeat scene. And it's also not that deep, definitely not compelling enough for a villain with a point, even though I can actually see her point.

On the other hand, the final episode of the cartoon was so goddamn entertaining. One day I'll make a meme out of the backstabfest that happens there because it's so hilarious. In a good way, I love chaos.

Edit: I feel like I should also add that cartoon Nerissa is incredibly entertaining and quite charismatic. And her voice gives me goosebumps, I could use it as ASMR.

I haven't told anyone on tumblr about this but outside of the roleplay shitposts there is an entire roleplay story we're doing. I'll say it right here it is so stupid yet cool and everyone involved including me is fully invested in it. (Take these out of context images. Carved some pumpkins.

The second one was suppose to be a Chirithy but I messed that up. At lest my first one of Mimikyu turned out basically perfect.

The fourth one is my brothers. Was not what he was going to make but turns out he had to pick the thickest pumpkin ever so a sad face it is. It was thick as the knife's blade he was using to carve it.

I should have taken a better picture of it but it its like 4 inches thick the whole way around that pumpkin, no wonder it was so heavy compared to the two others i picked out that are just slightly smaller then his
