An AU where Danny is Death/Grim Reaper who was angry that Jason Todd was resurrected.

Because unlike others who was dipped into Lazarus Water to revive themselves, Jason mysterious came back alive inside his coffin and broke out. He got thrown into the water only because Thalia believed it could help restoring his mind. And it did.

Still, while others (Damian, Bruce, etc.) were expected to be resurrected alive, Jason was not. Jason unintentionally became an unknown variable.

Others survived Death because Fates allowed them to. But not Jason. And they had no idea who done it or it was just because Jason had some special lineage in his blood or anything.

To Danny, that was unaceptable. So he stalked him, sometimes appearing in front of him as a 14 year old boy with dark hair and blue eyes (Danny's form probably before he took the Death title).

It will be funny/fucked up in a way that if occasionally Danny decides to use the dead form of Jason when he was beaten by the Joker, in bloody torn uniform to torment Jason and his family. Like a terrible vision of the darkest moments.

To him, he was teaching them to respect death, both the concept and himself. Since to him, they were getting pretty bold.

Im stuck on where to continue this. Could go in this direction: Danny scared Jason and the batfam and at first, none of them knew Danny was Death and thought he was a meta with a grudge. It took Constantine palling, scared look to realize something was wrong.

Jason if he figures out Danny's intention of reaping his soul ("correct the order again") will be full of despair and anger.

Batfam + JL may try to fight off Danny but he fought all of them easily, which added a sense of fear to them.

(Yeah i based these of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. That movie still has me in its grasp)

We need more unhinged Danny. I don't mean silly unhinged, i mean terrifying, reaper like, Danny.

Imagine Danny but based on Death from Puss in Boots.

I can imagine this is a Danny that was pushed too far, not far enough to be Dan, but far enough to abandon a lot of his loved ones (not Jazz and Dani), and become more of an anti hero.

He can eventually encounter anyone from the dc universe. I personally like the idea of the Bats realising there is something going on at the Lazerous and then when they get there Danny emerges from the pit. He's there to pick up a soul, and that soul is Ras. Just murks that man with little to no effort scaring everyone.
