Dr. Stone Headcanons: Reactions to a Cat (Post-Petrification Characters) Edition!

[I don't know if they've ever seen a house cat before, how did they find a housecat? I'm giving no context. ]

Chrome: "Woah, it's like a tiger but...small and friendly!" *he tries to pet it, but he's kind of cautious*

Suika: "Woah, it's so soft and cute!" *the cat is already sitting on her lap ready to be pet*

Kohaku: "Wait, don't touch it, it still may be a predator-" *she's already in a fighting stance but the cat rubs its face against her leg and she lets her guard down*

Ruri: "It's quite cute, should we give it a name?" *kneeling down to pet the cat*

Kaseki: "Are you here to watch me work?" *the cat just watches as he is working on building one of Senku and Chrome's designs and he doesn't mind it at all*

Kinro: "Hm, it likes me." *he picks up the cat and the cat tries to bit his finger* "Okay, it doesn't like to be picked up-"

Ginro: "It's attacking me!" *the cat is scratching him everywhere*

Magma: "You're telling me this little thing is related to lions and tigers somehow? It's so little and unthreatening... ow!" *He goes in to pet the cat and it scratches the hell out of him*

Soyuz: "It's kind of cute."

Amaryllis: "Aw, what an adorable little creature!" *gets bitten by the cat* "You weren't even that cute anyways..."

Kirisame: "Interesting."

Moz: "Eh, I don't get why people think something like this is cute..?"

“What the hell are you wearing?”

“A lab coat.” Senku looked at you incredulously, with one brow raised and his other hand shaking a glass beaker. 

“Okay, how the heck did you even get that-“

“Yuzuriha.” Right. 

“And why are you wearing it exactly?”

“Because I look good in it and…” 

"I've been studying chemistry," You declared, revealing a notebook filled with meticulously recorded observations.

When you hand him the said notebook, you watch his skepticism turn into fascination.

“Kukuku, I’m impressed, it’s right. You wrote down the formulas for everything. Where and when did you get this?”

“See, I actually listened to all of your scientific rants. I thought they were interesting and super helpful, so I wanted to learn.”

Senku blinked, slightly surprised that you had put in the effort to take notes, listen and learn.

“I thought that we could experiment together."

For a moment, he was silent, but then his lips quirk up into a smirk, and he flicked your forehead.

“Alright, what are you waiting for? Come help me then. Show me what you learned.” 

“Wait.” Senku was twirled around and handed a lab coat too.

“I got one for you too.” Dumbfounded, Senku didn’t move until you sighed and helped him put it on. Before you went to fix his collar, he came to his senses.

“I can do it myself.” He quickly turned away from you and put it on properly.

"You look good short king."

You had a smug expression on your face.

"Shut up."

You swear he has a little tint of pink on his cheeks, but you decided to not mention it.

“Come on, we got a lot of work to do.” He extended a hand, and you accepted it as if it was the norm. 

“I know Einstein.” 

The Art of Exploration

“Chrome! Look at what I found!” 

“Be careful (Y/N)! Don’t fall down!” 

Chrome ran after you as you skipped ahead and jumped into a flowing river. 

“(Y/N)!” Chrome was always worried about your safety and well-being, despite the many times where you proved where you were just as strong as him. 

“Don’t worry Chrome, it’s not like it’s my first time out with you! Besides, look, I found this cool-looking thing in the water!” 

In your hands was an oddly shaped rock, and while the two of you inspected it, neither of you knew what it was. Until you cleaned it a bit more in the river. 

A golden exterior shone through its surface. 

Almost immediately, you screamed out in excitement. 

“Gold! It’s the thing that Senku was looking for right?” Even Chrome was shocked at your luck, before hugging you from behind.

Even though you both were slightly dirty from running away and exploring all day, neither of you minded.

“It’s gold! Amazing! How did you find that so easily?” Chrome was genuinely curious. After all, from his perspective, he simply saw you jump into a river, bend down, and pick up a random rock. 

“Um…it’s kind of embarrassing but…” Chrome cocked a head at your hesitation before you blurted out. 

“I’VE BEEN LEARNING ABOUT ROCKS!” It was so loud that the world shook around you both. 

"because...I want to go with you more when you explore..." Your voice became quieter and quieter, while you fidgetted with your hand.

Chrome watched your face lit up, before you quickly turn around and make a run for it. 

“Wait (Y/N)! That’s so cool! Come back!” 

Chrome chased you with a giant grin on his face.

He can’t wait to see what you learned, and how, when the two of you go back to his workshop. 

Chrome also can’t wait to brag to everyone (especially Senku) how great you are.

The Art of Communication

“Raise.”

“I’ll play with you Genie, call.” The click of chips being pushed to the center. Gen(ie) winked at you.

Genie was nickname for your little boyfriend, why? Well, man can read minds (probably).

The cards are slowly being flipped over as spectators make their own guesses.

“All-in!” Gen pushed up his sunglasses dramatically (as if he was in an anime) and smirked as he turned to you.

“Sorry dear (Y/N), this is my game.” 

You stayed silent for a moment, observing Gen from head to toe.

But Gen of course, remains calm, and confident in his hand.

“All-in.” 

Gen raises his sunglasses in slight surprise at your bet.

“Dear (Y/N), are you sure?” Gen was slightly worried, after all, you tend to be more on the conservative side when it comes to gambling. He slides his hand over to you, and you put yours on top of his. 

“Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing.” You returned his look with a forced smile. Gen whistled, surprised at your sudden bold action. 

“Okay, I’m going to flip the last card.” Kohaku flips and the room goes silent. 

Then he saw a smirk rose to your lips, and felt your hand intertwin with his. 

“You owe me babe.” You hold up his hand while his jaw dropped to the ground. 

This was the first you had ever won against him in gambling. 

“Finally someone gave Gen a taste of his own medicine.” Ukyo rolled his eyes before snickering. 

“Wha-how did you-” 

"I thought I'd learn from the best.” You winked and stole his sunglasses, making your beloved stutter even more. 

“After all, the mind is the most fascinating puzzle, and yours is the most intriguing of them all." You put on his sunglasses with a smug smirk.

“Damn, that was cringe.” Senku commented, which received a nudge from Yuzuriha. 

Gen eventually recovered and chuckled, bringing your hand to his lips. 

“Oh dear (Y/N), are you playing mind tricks with me now?” 

“Of course not dear~ I still have much to learn~” 

(Senku of course, fake gagged behind the scenes, but that never stopped you and Gen from doing anything, has it?)

The Art of Navigation

Under the starlit sky, both you and Ryusui stood on the deck of the Perseus, his eyes scanning the horizon. 

It was at times like these where your boyfriend was finally quiet, appreciating the tranquility, and the ambience as you two were on a date. Delicious food and wine made by Francois, while listening to the waves rock against the ship, and the laughter from others inside. 

Of course, Ryusui is the one to break that silence when he notices the seas changing. 

“My love, a storm is coming.” He suddenly stands up, “Francois, follow me after you clean up.” 

“Yes sir.” Francois, elegant and efficient as always, quickly retreated with the food. 

“Ay ay Captain.” Your little salute made his loosen up just a little, before he held your hand, and pulled you inside as if he was guiding you in a waltz.

Ambitious, confident, and charismatic, that was your love, Ryusui.

As expected, he took the helm immediately, and an excited grin rose to his face as he looked far into the distance with thunderous clouds. 

“Love, can you tell them all to get ready!? We need all hands on deck!” 

“On it captain!” 

With a laugh, you began warning everyone through the speakers, and chaos followed as everyone scrambled to get on desk.

Surprisingly, Ryusui watched you give commands almost effortlessly and matching his pace.

“Furl the sails!” 

“We’re going to change courses!” 

“Make sure to hold to the ship!” 

“Love, you’re perfect.” Ryusui thanks you while he spins the wheel.

“Drop the anchors!” 

Then you turn around and slide beside him. 

“Love, let me help you - it’s that way - where we have to go right?” 

“A little bit more to the left, but love, I see you’ve been learnING-” The ship’s center of gravity suddenly shifts, causing you to lean on Ryusui as you grab onto the wheel for your deer life. 

“I love it! The desire to learn is always so endearing!” 

“Oh stop it~ All I did was read some maps and books!” 

“Hey Captain! Can you stop flirting and steer the ship properly!?” The others yelled while panicking on deck, and with a laugh, both of you steered the ship to safety. 

"One more time?" He proposed, and you agreed, much to the displeasure of your crewmates.

The Art of Archery

Sometimes, the kids are loud. 

As such, Ukyo and his companion often found solace in the tranquility of the forest. Sometimes they would take long walks, talk about various topics they would not share in front of children, and enjoy the silence once in a while away from the chaos of someone known as Senku. 

But one day, you asked Ukyo to learn archery. 

Naturally, Ukyo was elated to teach you, after all, it was a way for you to protect yourself. 

It began with Ukyo making a bow for you, then arm guard, and even received gloves from Yuzuriha. He wanted to make sure you had the best of equipment he could get, and that you were safe at all times.

The first few training sessions began with Ukyo standing behind you, guiding you with a calm, mellow voice, and helping you with aim. 

But soon, you both practiced archery side by side, the twang of bowstrings harmonizing with the rustling leaves.

"Your aim is getting better," Ukyo praised, a smile gracing his lips as he applauded you. 

“Thanks, it all because of your help Ukyo.” You gave him a little hug which he returned. 

“I’m proud of you.” 

“Can I come and hunt with you now?” For a moment he hesitated, but after seeing your adorable puppy eyes, he caved in within a heartbeat. 

“Okay, but safety first ok?” 

“Mhmm. I know.” 

You gave him a peck on the cheek, before he returned one too. 

LIttle did you know, not only were your arrows hitting the bulls-eye, they went through Ukyo’s heart too.

Soft Boyfriend Tsukasa: After his epic battle with Senku at his side he spends his last minutes alive breathing ragged and hoarse with you and the renowned scientist. His head in your lap and holding each other hands as he chuckles at Senku's attempt at small talk.

Soft Boyfriend Tsukasa: That whispers out a barely heard "I love you" but before you can even comprehend it and much less respond his eyes softly close, and his breathing comes to a permanent stop.

Soft Boyfriend Tsukasa: Who unknowingly has you and his sister by his side the entire time he is in cold sleep. Barely leaving the makeshift refrigerator as you tell him stories and talk his ear off knowing that you won't get a response.

Soft Boyfriend Tsukasa: Who when he's finally revived and healed from what were once permanent wounds hugs his teary-eyed little sister and looks around the cave space for you inconspicuously knowing you couldn't be far.

Soft Boyfriend Tsukasa: Who finally spots you in the very back of the group your lip quivering as he cracks the softest of smiles and hold his arms open for you to rush into as you cry and snot all over his bare chest comforting you with the fact that he was alive and well now.

Soft Boyfriend Tsukasa: Who even though was dead for months on end in that cold refrigerator somehow knew that you were by his side the entire time thanking you for never giving up on him.

Soft Boyfriend Tsukasa: Who sits with you on the cave floor simply murmuring low sweet nothings in your ear as you cling onto him as if to make sure he's really alive and well, your head pressed against his chest to hear his heart beating once more.

Extra: Soft Boyfriend Tsukasa: Who could most definitely manhandle you like a little ragdoll but refrains from it since you've never expressed interest in such rough treatment. a/n: after my first senku one shot got some recognition, i was thinking of making another one but i didn't know what. then i was shocked to see that i got a request, but then i saw the request and freaked; i love the idea. so here and enjoy! this also took a while since when this was requested, school started already and i was busy with requirements. sorry!

anything science here may or may not be true, i'm not sure. i got most from reddit. reader's tattoos are based of off law's from one piece. slightly inspired by ferbnessa (phineas and ferb).

after visiting the grave of his father, senku headed out only to see a familiar statue just outside the graveyard.

there you are standing tall leaning on one leg; a hand up to your ear as if you were taking a phone call, and two fingers up to your lips indicating that you were smoking then. a small frown your face as you side eyed towards the hand by your ear, like you were annoyed with the phone call you may have had.

his eyes widen at the face that he'd never thought he would see again. "...y/n?" he muttered out with a relieved tone as he stepped closer to your petrified self. after getting hit with the realization that he won't ever see his father again, seeing someone he deeply cares about is just what he needed.

"you're still the same." he whispers as he trailed down figure seeing the various tattoos that are now on display. "let's hope that those stay on your skin because i know for sure you'll be hella pissed if you wake up tattoo less." he chuckles as he brought a hand to run through his hair.

then he put that same hand on top of your head (well tried to, so now his hand is rested upon your cheek). "wake up soon." he tells your statue with a soft look on his face, "i want to see, and hear you again, y/n."

just when the group finished making a record player, that's when someone came from where the graveyard is.

"hello?"

ginro screamed saying it's a ghost (which also scared most people) as the battle team hurried to the front lines, and positioned themselves into a battle stance.

"calm down, there is no need to point such dangerous things at me."

you walked out with a teasing smile. your naked body gaining attention to those present; their eyes looking at the scribbles across both your arm. both men, and women blushing at the sight with some covering children's eyes.

that's when you saw him walking up to those who held weapons towards you. "ara~ senku?" you let out in a confused manner. then another person walked up.

"you're y/n l/n, right?"

you looked over to the blonde who asked which shocked you. raising your brow with suspicion, "how do you know that?" you asked knowing full well that senku wouldn't just tell stories of those he knew before the petrification.

"you're part of the hundred tales: 'number ninety-four; the woman with strong desires. y/n l/n is a tall woman with ink along her arms as a sign of devotion. there is another way to show loyalty to another, and it's by making a promise. it is when two or more people make a vow to one another to do something for the future. these promises are to be kept, and not broken, or else the woman of devotion will seek you.'" the blonde girl explained to you.

after she explained, the townspeople nodded their heads in realization and understanding. however, you're confused. "the hundred tales? also what's up with that story?" you asked as senku is casually walking up to you, holding clothes. he tossed them to you, "here put these on. i don't want these people to keep staring at you, and forget about the record." he ushered as you did what you were told.

gen rose a brow at the out-of-character-yet-not-really-out-of-character statement that he overheard. 'how interesting~' he thought with an evil smile.

senku guided you over to the small hut where a primitive looking record player lays, but you also saw all the other inventions around it. "oh wow," you muttered gaining his attention, "i knew you'd be able to survive in this stone world." you gave him a soft smile.

after you said that, he turned away from you and to the record player. "save that for later, we need to listen to this." he says, but in actuality he's a bit flustered by your insane trust in him despite only knowing each other for barely a year.

his eyes soften at the memory.

it was hirosue high's school festival, and senku's class is doing a food stand while he decided to add something science related. sure doing a food stand is already science, but a lot of other classes are doing that already and he wanted to add some twist.

after discussing it with his classmates (with the help of taiju, and yuzuriha), he was able to come to the agreement that people get to choose to compete in something science related for free food. if they don't win, then they pay extra, and if they do win, then they don't pay at all. another twist is that the participant will be able to pick a science topic, but will not be able to pick the difficulty. then they also have the choice to go for more questions because why not.

this may seem like something senku would like doing, but he's ten billion percent sure that no one can keep up with his scientific nature and that this will probably make him bored.

those who will be participating in this science contest will be directed to the science lab where senku will be for most of the time, hosting the said contest. only ten customers at a time are allowed to participate, then the next contest will happen again after an hour or so.

and so, let the festival begin!

senku is bored out of his mind, or rather feeling unproductive since he's been sitting in his science lab doing nothing, but giving random people science questions that all, if not, most people couldn't answer. he asked himself a lot on why he asked to do this, and it's only the first day!

he received a text from yuzuriha saying that she's sending in the next batch of contestants. sighing at the text, he wrote down some questions he could think of at the top of his head ranging from elementary to advance college. although he doubt anyone could answer any advance college questions.

he watched as the door opened with people pouring inside, but then someone caught his eye. in his fourteen years of life, he would have never thought that a woman would catch his attention.

a woman of tall height (senku calculated her to be around 190 cm) wearing a sleeveless short black turtle neck with a cutout that shows her cleavage, a tight pencil skirt with mesh hanging from the back, and high platform boots. with the sleeveless top, he could see the the tattoos lining up both of her arms; he recognized them too. those tattoos are from an anime.

"wow." senku uttered under his breath then quickly shook his head, shocked at his sudden attraction. he was supposed to be uninterested in these things! but human emotions are the epitome of unexpected.

but never would he expected to be into older women.

it was clear that you're a grown adult by the way you carried yourself; you're clearly mature, and elegant with femininity oozing out of you. now he wishes for you to be highly educated, after all, knowledge is something he's attracted to the most.

so when it is finally your turn to get tested, he made sure to pick one of the college/advanced level questions.

you sat down in front of the boy with gravity-defying hair. "hi~" you greeted with a smug look, "biology please." you asked without even looking at the options.

senku smirked, "for how long can the body live without its head?" hopefully you won't fall for the trick question, then maybe he can...

a wide grin appeared on your face, "zero of course because head can live without the body for fifteen seconds, not the other way around."

an imaginary lightning bolt appeared beside the both of you as those in the room can feel the competitive tension between the two of you. despite you already answering a question correct, senku kept going asking you questions as you kept answering them correct. this went on for almost an hour, and during that time, a crowd appeared inside the room.

all of a sudden, you started laughing. you smiled at the boy in front of you who's name you still don't know, "thank a lot." you stood up then dropped some money (for the food you ate), "you certainly know how to show a woman a good time, but i have to go." you leaned down and gave him a kiss on the cheek, "i promise i'll definitely come back tomorrow." then you left waving your hand while walking out.

senku looked starstruck, watching you wave back at him then realized that he's at school. the look faded from his face as he glared at the crowd that is quickly dispersing. then he looked over to his two friends: taiju, and yuzuriha, who both have a large grin on their faces.

he rose a brow, "what?" he asked before going back to his flashcards, writing new questions.

"you looked so starstruck at her!" taiju started with a teasing tone as yuzuriha nods beside him. "yeah senku! never would i have thought that you'd be interested in a girl." then she brightly smiled, "didn't she say she would come back tomorrow?! get her number!" she exclaimed.

senku shook his head, "that would be ten billion percent inappropriate; to both her, and i." then he shooed them away to go back to the classroom.

senku lightly shook his head from the memory to continue what he was doing before you had arrived. he motioned ginro to start spinning, and then he carefully placed the needle into the grooves of the glass record. that's when you heard byakuya's voice again after thousands of years.

"i don't know who's listening to this, hundreds or maybe thousands of years from now, but i'm the astronaut byakuya ishigami."

the crowd starts cheering as senku shushed them allowing the record to be heard again. byakuya went on about how the formalities end there then asked, "senku, it's you, isn't it?" he says making you turn to your left, your eyes landing to the boy who's got glassy eyes.

you nudged a bit closer to him allowing you to wrap an arm around his shoulder as if giving him a side hug. he, in return, used his right hand to wrap a pinky around one of your fingers (senku's arms were crossed over his chest).

gen saw the action, and is practically doing an 'oop' face.

"nah, you don't need that dramatic father-and-son crap, do you? let's get right into business."

"you really do get it!"

that's when you heard it.

lillian's voice, no, her singing voice.

at the sound of music—singing—you can't help, but cry at the sudden wave of nostalgia, and realization.

senku moved his right hand so that it's holding unto yours. he gave your hand a squeeze as sign of "i'm here" to which you are grateful for. he always have a knack of making you feel special, and appreciated.

memories you had over the year with senku suddenly flashes through your eyes.

senku would sometimes go over to your vacation home in japan; to help you with your work, or purely for the advanced science lab down in your basement. despite being in japan for vacation, there are times wherein you want to work, so that's why your vacation home has a full on lab.

it was all about the little things he did that made you feel special.

whenever you'd be having trouble coming up with experiments, theories, etc. senku would be their to put an input of his own ideas.

when he notice that you're overworking yourself, he would bring you a brewed cup of your favorite coffee brand.

when you would get stressed, he would some times play with you hair, or trace the tattoos along your arm while he would give you pointers on whatever you'd be working on.

and when you're not working then the two of you would hang out at the mall or some place else.

senku knows about your fashion style; specifically having a lot of pencil skirts of different styles. instead of him saying that you should not wear those types of clothes; i mean, who is he to ask you of that, you're a capable adult and clothes are meant to be worn. instead every time the two of you have to go up a flight of stairs, he would hover over just under your skirt to block any unwanted eyes.

if you have long hair, he would always bring hair ties with him whenever you two go out to eat. which is proved to be useful especially when you two would frequent a ramen restaurant (since it's his favorite food and all), and you'd always forget to bring one.

if you are prescribed with a certain medicine then he would always have some stored at his home, and would try to restock your own.

(act fool, act fool, act fool, act fool)

you've noticed him do these small things, well, not all the time just some of them. these small things would seem out-of-character for senku, but for you, it just makes sense. especially when he suddenly confessed to you.

"i, ten billion percent, like you romantically, y/n."

your head snapped towards senku, your eyes wide in shock. then that shock turned into a serious look, "senku, i hope you didn't forget that i'm seven years older than you."

senku nodded, "of course i remember that important detail; i thought about that too." then he turned his attention over to a bunch of stacks of paper. "you most definitely can reject me; which is also the most logical choice, but if you don't; which is obviously illogical, and dangerous to both you, and i." he hesitated for a second, "i don't expect you to... wait for me; you can involve yourself romantically with other people, but these feelings of mine will stay. no matter how illogical i think they are."

you leaned over to senku to see that his ears are a bit red making you smile, but that quickly faded. "senku, i will reject you here, but i do want you to try again once you become an adult."

he turned back to you in shock, then a sheepish smile appeared on his face. "alright, i promise you that."

that was the last time you saw him before the petrification.

never would you have thought that was the last day you would have saw him, the world turned into stone the next day. with several centuries passing, you thought you'd never be able to wake up.

but you heard it.

a call of your name from senku.

after hearing his voice again after years, you realized you missed him. a lot. it may have took you a while, but you finally got out of your stone cage.

knowing senku, he would definitely revive the entire humanity, and you'll be there to help him.

after listening to the recorder, everyone from the village went back to their homes as the day is about to end. meanwhile, senku took you to his observation tower (which is where he sleeps now as well).

after the two of you went up, senku immediately started drawing up a plan for the next course of action.

but you knew better.

he's always been there for you, so now it's time for you to be there for him.

"senku..." you called with a soft tone as you walked up behind him, and put a hand over his. "you shouldn't work after listening to the record." you started as you started tidying up the piles of paper on the desk, "you don't need to exert yourself anymore. you can start planning tomorrow."

after fixing the mess on his desk, you dragged senku over to what you assume is the bed, and sat him there. "you don't have to carry everything by yourself, you know?" you bent down to him with a smirk, "after all, i'm just as, if not, smarter than you."

senku immediately looked away from you, and lied down onto the bed. he didn't want you seeing his slightly red face. raising a hand, he did a shooing motion, "alright, alright. i'm laying down, happy?" he asked with a sarcastic tone making you roll your eyes.

"yes, but you can't 'shoo' me away." he heard you say as he felt the mattress behind him sink. "where else would i sleep?" you rhetorically asked as you laid down next to him, your back facing his back.

senku, for once, didn't have trouble sleeping that night.

the next day, senku decided to make 'space food' as a way to fight during winter; something tsukasa doesn't want. of course, senku had already discussed to you what happened during the two years he broke out of his petrification while the two of you worked on making the space food.

gen noticed the natural teamwork the two of you has; even different from when chrome, and senku would work together. the two of you even had time to make conversations! (#multitasking)

during the night, senku looked through his telescope. "just come up already." he said, but not loud enough to wake you up. "what do you want?" then asked.

"heya." gen appeared, "i didn't want the pure hearted to hear this like kinro-chan, kokuyo-chan, and maybe like y/n-san. is she finally asleep?"

senku chuckled, "seems like you've already got a skeevy plan." then he glanced over to your laid figure. "just keep it down, she's a very light sleeper. don't be surprised if she's already awake."

gen gave a closed smile, "good guess, and that's fine." then he opened his eyes, "all we need is the record, and a pair of phones. if it works out, we can actually save all seven billion people in a bloodless siege on the tsukasa empire, but if god happens to be watching." his smile turned evil. "you and i are going to hell together."

senku stood up, "not to worry." then gave an equally evil look, "god's been absent in the world of science for ten billion years. let's hear it, mentalist."

senku was right; you already have been awake ever since gen arrived. you have also been listening in this plan of gen's, and you gotta hand it over to him; he truly is a scumbag of a mentalist. then again, senku is also a scumbag of a scientist.

you were almost shocked to hear lillian's voice out of gen's mouth, but what truly shocked you was when chrome bursts his head through the floorboards which made you jump.

as senku patched up the floor, gen making a summary of the plan, then you're checking up on chrome for any injuries.

"chrome, sweetheart, don't do that again. you could have gotten a concussion from the blunt force." you commented worriedly as you hovered over him, holding his head; checking for injuries.

senku flinched at the sudden pet name you called chrome, and of course, gen saw the said flinch. he smirked as he leaned over to senku, poking his cheeks. "ara senku-chan~ are you jealous? speaking off..." he turned to you.

"what even is you two's relationship?"

the sudden question made you turn to senku, making eye contact. after a few seconds, he nodded towards you as a sign to explain however you want.

you turned back to gen with a suspicious smile (well, that's how he saw it), "a promise is what keeps us together."

both gen, and chrome are confused by your statement.

Dr. Stone Headcanon: Childhood Core Memory Edition!

Senku: The first time he looked into a telescope (He was 3, almost 4 years old and Byakuya let him look into a telescope on New Years).

Gen: Losing his family's trust at 14 years old because of a "mind trick" he did on them. (Probably something along the lines of revealing his parents cheating on each other or just revealing some dark family secrets).

Chrome: Making his first rock collection, he was about 6 years old.

Ukyo: Being taken to piano class at the age of 9 (he totally plays an instrument).

Ryusui: Being given his first ship (he was probably 8 years old).

Tsukasa: Collecting sea shells for Mirai.

Kohaku: When Ruri started to get really sick, maybe around 10 or 12 years old.

Suika: Her first ever hug from Kohaku and later Ruri. She was 6 years old and had just lost her parents.

Ruri: When her mother told her the 100 stories.

Francois: The day they met the Nanami family (they totally have family working for the Nanami corp. and they have known of Ryusui and Sai since birth).

Yuzuriha: The first art set that she got for her birthday or Christmas at round 7 or 8 years old.

Childhood Friendship:

Stanley Snyder has been friends with you since you were kids. It’s not really a choice, considering you two were practically neighbors, and your parents being friends with one another. 

Even so, Stanley felt like you two just clicked upon the first meeting. 

Stanley never thought you two would share many similar interests and hobbies.

Often, Stanley would spend countless weekends with you, playing sports, watching movies, discovering hidden gems in the city, and pranking others. 

Stanley’s family were incredibly supportive and happy that their son were getting along with you so well. So they often invited you to go over whenever your parents had work overseas.

They encouraged open-mindedness and respect between the two of you as you two sometimes fought and got mad at each other for little things. 

Stanley learned to apologize and forgive, how to be stern and patient, and be the kind and responsible “other brother” in your friendship

Back then, he was just your childhood friend.

Realization of Feelings:

Stanley began to realize his feelings for you when he was in high school. 

He found himself blushing around you and getting nervous when you smiled at him. 

He cared for the little things, and didn’t want to disappoint you when he got in trouble with his guy group.

Stanley became increasingly protective of you, always looking out for your well-being. 

He'd insist on walking you home after school and making sure you were safe.

Sometimes, he would even go out of his way to take care of you when you were sick.

Stanley developed a habit of calling you at night. Asking about your day, and tell you about his. 

He loved these late-night conversations, just you and him, sometimes sharing stories, gossip, dreams, fears, and secrets. 

Stanley found comfort in these talks, and it was during one of these moments that he admitted to himself that he had a crush on you, and can’t let you go.

Courting & Confession:

Stan isn't afraid to show his affection, like offering to carry your backpack or complimenting you about your looks, knowledge or personality.

He often buys you food and eventually became your personal professional driver.

Stanley reached out to his closest friend, Xeno, about his feelings, seeking advice on how to confess. 

Xeno encouraged him to be honest with you but also cautioned him to respect your boundaries in the case that feelings aren’t reciprocated. 

(Xeno was sure that it would be, that sneaky little Einstein)

One day, Stanley finally mustered the courage to tell you about his feelings. 

Stanley and you sat together under the beautiful night stars during one of your many weekend hangouts, and it was then he blurted out his confession. 

“Hey Y/N, you know, we've been friends for so long…practically since babies. You know you were really ugly back then.”

“Oh shut it, like you weren’t a brat.” A shared nudge and chuckle.

“Hey, there's something I need to tell you." 

"Yea? What is it, Stan?" 

"Well, it's just... ah screw it, I really like you. Not just as a friend. I mean, I like you a lot. More than I've ever liked anyone.” 

From your looks to your personality to funny moments and lovable times, his rant went on for a bit like a kid describing his favourite cartoon.

"Damn, I know it's probably weird to hear, and I understand if you don't feel the same way. But can you give me an answer soon?” 

Stanley closed his eyes and waited patiently for your answer. At this time, he really wanted to smoke.

"Stanley Synder, you dummy. You know, I've been feeling the same way.” Stanley felt a hand on his shoulder, waking him up. 

“I was just too scared to say anything."

"Really?"

"Yeah, really. I've liked you for a long time too, Stan. No matter how much of an annoying show-off and-." He pulled you into a little hug which cut you off, but you didn’t mind. 

The hug now felt a little differently than before.

You two stayed like that for a bit, relishing in the peace and quiet, in relief.

"So, what do we do now?" 

"How about we keep being us? We don't have to change anything about our friendship, just add a little extra something."

“Hmm, that sounds perfect.”

You know, I always think of Ryusui when I listen to “Brandy, You’re a Fine Girl.” Lol. I love GOTG Vol. 2, but now I just can’t get Ryu out of my head.

“Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not?” Ryusui x Reader

Admittedly, you didn’t agree to sleeping in the same bed as Ryusui for mere convenience. You could have put a pillow on the wooden floor of the hut beside you, slept there just fine for a night.

You couldn’t even be mad that Homura burning down your hut was still causing issues now. The foundation was worse than you thought, but you’d ignored it for months now, and it crumbled while you were away. It’d be dreadful if it weren’t for the fact that your crush had quickly offered up his place.

So here you were, a little too close to him than you probably should be as the morning light illuminates his face. His eyes are shut, his mouth just lightly ajar. The light makes his tanned skin almost glow. And you notice, despite hearing rich people are usually pale for their complexion with less freckles from inside jobs and such, that he’s got freckles littering his cheeks. Quite a few, and honestly, you find it quite cute. Your fingertips ghost over them, almost touching his skin, but not.

He must have had a good skincare routine before because there isn’t a blemish in sight somehow, even now. You wondered how he kept it that way in this world, but you brush it off and you dare to brush your fingers through his blonde hair. His hair is smooth and soft, and you find it hard to not almost be jealous, maybe even pissed at him for being so perfect. Was it rich people shit, or was it him? You didn’t know.

His hair is soft, so you dare to brush your hand over his cheek to see if his skin is just as soft. To your joy, it is just as soft. You can’t help but smile at how beautiful of a man he is. You’re almost jealous of him, but something besides that is occupying your mind. Your desire, as he would call it, to be with him.

You can’t help but want to wake up like this, but closer, every morning. Feel his soft skin on yours as his arms around wrapped around you. It’s the dream. And it’s not like he doesn’t like you, no, he loves you. He’s made it known, but he loves everybody (even Tsukasa). So you can’t help but feel he can’t be yours in a traditional sense.

He doesn’t seem the type to tie himself to one person, and that makes your heart ache. You hate that you let yourself expect anything, or that you can’t help the way your eyes are pulled down to his lips. You hate the way your mind begs the question, “are his lips as soft as his hair? As his skin?”

You stare at them for a moment. At least, visually, you couldn’t find any signs of chapped lips or anything. So far, so good, but you want to feel them. You lean closer, but you know you shouldn’t just take what you want. So you go to pull away when his eyes crack open, scaring you a little.

He smiles a shit-eating grin, “Are you gonna kiss me or not?” He leans up a little bit. “If you don’t, I will.” He says, pulling you closer. You gasp as you’re suddenly mere centimeters away from him, noticing his eyes locked on your lips before it seems like he prys them back up to your eyes, “Can I?”

You nod before you feel his lips, as soft as you imagined, brush over yours. He pulls your bottom lip between his lips as his hand comes up to hold the back of your head. You’re shocked, your eyes fall shut, and you let yourself let go so he can lead. He’s an ambitious kisser, despite it being your first kiss with him, so he leads you to let your mouth fall open, his tongue slipping past to just barely graze your lips.

You can taste him when your tongues finally meet in the middle. You realize you’ve never enjoyed a kiss this much before as you relish in the way he tastes. He pulls away slowly and softly, clearly admiring your features as you both break apart.

And now you don’t know what you two are, but you’ll leave that conversation for another time, you figure as you feel him pull you back in.
