☆Mondo Owada would always stay close to you incase you trip, and when you do he catches you before you hit the floor, holding you close to him and making sure you're okay. With your low self-esteem he makes sure to tell you that you're beautiful, gorgeous, smart, incredible and all of the above. He makes sure that you know that he wants and loves you for you and not your looks and that he really does love you and all of your flaws.

He also doesn't mind your stuttering, he tells you that it's okay and to take your time, he doesn't mind waiting for you to tell him what's on your mind. He's also fairly patient and thinks your shyness is adorable, how you blush when you're nervous and how you turn your head away from him when you get slightly embarrassed. He loves it all and loves all of you.

☆Byakuya Togami doesn't really stay as close to you like Mondo. He stays in his space, but when you trip and fall into a revealing pose he's immediately by your side and covering you up with his jacket. He'd glare at any person laughing or looking at you. He'd deal with your low self-esteem by also giving reassurance. If you think a certain outfit would make you feel more confident in the way you look then he'd buy it for you, he feels as though if something makes you feel better about yourself or if a certain clothing brand would make you feel confident in your skin then he'd buy it immediately just for you.

But that doesn't mean he'd do it all of the time. He'd sit you down and have a heart to heart with you, he'd ask you why you think so badly about yourself and help you overcome that feeling and he'd keep doing it until you can look in the mirror and whole heartedly appreciate yourself. Now, with your stuttering. He's not a patient person, but he'd try to be and he's trying really hard to be patient. It's a work in progress but he's progressing really well, overtime he became extremely patient and would much rather wait for you to speak before speaking himself. Let's be honest, your shyness is what drew him close to you. I don't make the rules, he absolutely loves your shyness and the habits you do. Would he actually say this out loud? Hell no. But everyone with eyes can tell that he's absolutely smitten about you.

☆Kazuichi Souda is like Mondo, always around you and by your side. If you trip he'd catch you, but he's also pretty clumsy himself so he'd fall on top of you. Teruteru is practically perfect, believe it or not. You’ll find out that the worst thing about him though is his lack of honesty, since he does not like you worrying about him he never tells you his troubles.

Mahiru is also pretty much perfect cuz I’m biased and she’s my wife. However, she tends to be a bit of a mom. This can be a good thing, but also a bad thing. She nags you way more than moms normally do, way past the point of annoyance. She tries not to be too much, but it can surprisingly be overwhelming how much she nags you to do things. This is only a problem though if you’re the forgetful or lazy type.

Peko is always busy. She wants to keep you safe, but she also wants to keep her young master safe. As a result, she stays away from you in hopes enemies will be less likely to find you, and she can still protect fuyuhiko. She does this out of love, but it’s so much time away from her.

Gundham rarely opens up, he will but it’s rare. Sometimes it just feels like he doesn’t trust you. You read through one of the books in your cottage as you stroked Komaeda's hair.

His head was resting in your lap, with the rest of his body curled towards you as he dozed off, comfortable in your embrace.

Another trial had taken place. Koizumi and Pekoyama were dead, and Kuzuryuu was left in critical condition...but at the very least Komaeda had been released from the cowardly imprisonment that had been inflicted upon him.

Everyone had initially been hesitant to simply allow Komaeda to roam free, but you were quick to reassure everyone before they considered doing anything rash-- again.

You told them you'd keep an eye on him, and he certainly had no problem with it, becoming much more clingy after the events in the old building. It was like you had broken a dam and now that you'd shown him affection he'd never let you stop.

Sort of like when they told you not to feed wild animals, because they'd always want more food. Now that you'd been kind and gentle to Komaeda, he only wanted you to keep doing it.

Not that you minded terribly. Regardless of his actions, if you were in Komaeda's position, on a terrifying island of death and despair and all your potential allies hated you, you wouldn't be able to handle it.

Besides...you couldn't deny that you had some form of an attachment to him now. You wanted him to be happy, and your stomach did little flips when he cuddled up to you.

Looking down from your book to Komaeda, you watched his chest slowly rise and fall, breaths in time with yours.

He had denied your attentions at first, but it wasn't hard to convince him, touch-starved as he was. Even though he fought himself every step of the way, he wanted this even more than you did.

You sighed, tugging gently at his hair as you carded your fingers through it.

He looked so peaceful like this, expression relaxed and lips parted as he slept- face squished against you and an arm loosely around your waist.

He looked cute, and you wondered absently if he would still seek out your comfort as he had, if you'd just been friends going to a normal high school instead of your current situation.

Best not to dwell on the "what-if's"... You told yourself, looping a curly strand of Komaeda's hair around your finger.

You brushed a hand against his cheek as you did so, and he leaned into your touch unconsciously.

You gave a small smile at his content expression, and wished he could stay sweet and calm like this forever.

But alas, things were never destined to go your way.

Due to your ministrations, Komaeda stirred into consciousness, lifting his head from your lap and looking up at you sleepily.

He looked even cuter than before, fuzzy half-lidded eyes and messy hair. Even as his eyes began to gain some lucidity, you didn't pull your hand away.

"Y/N...?" He asked quietly, still looking somewhat discombobulated.

"Yes?" You hummed, brushing his hair out of his eyes, both hands cupping his cheeks now.

Whatever question he may have had receded back into his mind, and he simply put his head back down to rest against your stomach.

"Thank you..."

"Whatever for?" You asked, looking down at his sleepy form.

"For hugging me, touching me, talking to me... Thank you..." He murmured into your clothes, eyes closed.

Your brows furrowed, and you put a hand against his shoulder, coaxing him to lift his head up again and look at you.

As he did, you frowned. "You don't have to thank me for that stuff, Komaeda. We're friends."

Komaeda's lips parted, and he looked at you for a few moments with something akin to wonder.

"Friends..." He repeated, eyes looking over your face.

"Mhm." You affirmed, looking down at him.

Your faces were less than 12 inches apart, and the thought of kissing him briefly crossed your mind.

You berated yourself for the thought, but his eyes shifted down to your lips, and the next thing you knew your lips were on his.

His lips were slightly chapped, but much softer than you expected them to be.

Your hand rested on his cheek, and you stroked it with your thumb as you two kissed.

Pulling away, Komaeda slowly opened his eyes, looking dazed.

"...Is this a dream...?"

You smiled. "No, it isn't."

Komaeda gave a huff of disbelief, that turned into an incredulous laugh.

"Wow...I must be the luckiest guy in the world... I wouldn't be surprised if everyone on the island died right now..."

His tone was soft and still somewhat sleepy, despite the morbidness of his words.

You'd grown used to it at this point, stroking his hair. "That's not gonna happen, honey."

He shivered at the nickname, and smiled, pressing his face into your clothes. "I don't know...I'm...really happy right now..." His shoulders shook with silent, giddy laughter.

"That so?" You looked down at him fondly. "Well this isn't about your luck, Komaeda. I like you. A lot."

"A lot..." He repeated.

Komaeda laughed into your clothes, but it wasn't manic, like the one in the courtroom. It was gentle, and excited.

"Hearing you say that to garbage like me..."

"Wow... I could really die happy, now..."

"Non non." You murmured, pressing a kiss to his head.

"I want you alive."

He only smiled, squeezing you tight.

hajime would be very confused at first, he'd ask if it's similar to nagito's ultimate and if it's a cycle of good and bad luck. when you told him it wasn't and shit was just constantly hitting the fan, he got a little worried.

it's usually small things like you falling face first on the ground because you forgot to tie your shoes, every animal known to man constantly attacking you or the coins falling out of your wallet whenever you tried to buy anything from a vending machine to be never seen again. yet sometimes, it would ruin dates the two of you wanted to have.

one time - when the two of you started dating - you decided to go to the beach to have a date. it was the middle summer and there weren't any clouds in the sky, yet the moment the two of you finished setting everything up it started raining. the worst part is as soon as both of you went home the sky cleared. hajime would be the type to awkwardly show up at your doorstep right after the failed date, soaking wet, asking if "you had room for two in your house".

overall, i don't think he'd take it too hard. even if some hangouts fail there's always room for more. he'd worry, of course, but not to the point where he'd restrict your movement and choices (only if you have the risk of getting ran over or something).

Makoto Naegi

he's definitely the type to be constantly worried. although he is the ultimate lucky student he can only hope that his ultimate is enough to balance yours out (which usually just ends up the two of you sharing lucky and unlucky experiences).

before going out he'd tie your shoes extra tight, make sure you have a jacket if it's cold out or an umbrella if it's raining - with a smaller, spare umbrella inside your backpack if the first one broke. bought by the man himself! he'd be the type to grab your hand before crossing the road but not let you cross unless everything was right. by this i mean, no cars in the street, shoes tied, hand held, nothing in the way.

at the start of your relationship makoto thought he was being a bit too much but when you almost got ran over as you crossed the seemingly empty road he decided he could never be too sure.

altogether, he's worrying a lot. not in an annoying way, more of a "you're my troublesome child and i'll never let you out of my sight" type of way.

Nagito Komaeda

oh no. the good luck? still there. not a lot though. the bad luck? double. the cycle is still there, it's just that now whenever something bad happens it's two times worse.

nagito would be very nonchalant over both your talents and not let it get in the way of your dates. for example, if it started raining heavily during a walk and he noticed it was starting to flood the streets he'd try to convince you to go buy floaties to float down the street together. hopefully his good luck comes around quickly! you don't feel like getting stuck somewhere or drowning.

if you did get hurt he'd degrade himself - even if why or how you got hurt had nothing to do with him - and pay for your hospital bills. i feel like nagito would be the type to pamper his partner a lot with little gifts and try to carry you up the stairs if you broke your leg(s). And fail miserably at doing so.

he'd get into shit with you to just go "haha, my bad. how could i let this happen?"

K1-B0

kiibo. my sweet baby. like hajime, he'd ask a lot of questions when first meeting you! throughout time he'd get used to it and do his best to help you out. your gloves got ripped up by unknown causes and it's snowing? he'll use his hairdryer function to "breathe" onto your hands to quickly warm them up and when the two of you get home he'll sew them back up.

if you get hurt he wouldn't be able to carry you or anything (he's not particularly the strongest and his back pain doesn't help) but he'd take care of you afterwards! be it cooking meals, or cleaning the house.

everytime you get home he'll stop you at the door while concentrating reallyyy hard to use his zooming function to see if you're alright. doesn't do much, but you let it slide if it helps calm his worry.

so even if he's not able to support you during your spikes of your bad luck, he'll gladly lend you a hand afterwards!
