Tick tock
Tick tock
Tick tock
The faint clicking sound of the slow moving clock above the door echoes within your body. Your eyes follow as the seconds hand makes its way around the face of the clock. Your heart beat mimicking each second that passes by, each second slower than the last. Your shift crawling to the end of the hour as you bite your cuticles to the bed, anxiously waiting for it to be over.
The clock was crawling closer and closer and closer to 6pm, the end of your shift. The smell of freedom was inching its way to you. You could almost feel the sign of relief when you will be off of work.
The drowning sound of Robin’s voice following you around the store for the last two hours fades as she continues to talk about this week’s crush. This interaction feeling move like torture that the shift itself. And as much as you love Robin and her daily word dumps, you couldn’t help but not want to listen today.
Pushing yourself off of your elbows and making your way to the opposite side of the counter. Leaving Robin to finish her monologue by herself.
She watches as you grab the last stack of VHS tapes that need to be returned to their place on the shelf. Her gaze follows as you make your way slowly around the small store, half-assing the shelving job knowing she will have to fix all your mistakes when you leave.
Step by step. One foot in front of the other. Dragging out the simple task of your simple job. Continuing to watch the clock as you pace your movements to match the speed of the endless dial.

12 minutes 42 seconds left
12 minutes 41 seconds left
Your eyes only leave the countdown to follow the trail of movies on the floor that lead directly to the two girls gushing over some guy on the cover of one of them. “Don’t you two have somewhere better to be?” Pushing some of the movies with your shoe to see their selection. A quiet groan exits your mouth, one that only you would be able to hear, as you realize you will have to be the one to pick up their mess.
“Nope.” Max and Eleven say in unison as they stare up at you towering over them. Their ear to ear grin engulfing their faces.
You loudly groan now, letting them know of your distaste for what they are doing and this conversation.
“What about hanging out with your little boyfriends ?” You speak as if you are talking to a small child, kneeling down to be eye level with them on the floor. Max rolling her eyes at your remark as you continue, “I mean come on - Friday night and you two are here?”
“You’re here.” El speaks before tearing a piece of licorice with her mouth. Her comment is not meant to be a jab at you but you couldn’t help to think that Max’s sarcasm is starting to rub off of her.
“That’s because I’m forced to be here.” You specify slowly, picking up a couple of movies that they have scattered on the floor before standing up again.
“Forced but loves every moment of it because I’m here.” The voice says from behind you. Robin chiming in as she swings her arm over your shoulder.
And she was right. You love Robin, loving hanging out with her and love having shifts with her. But today was just too long and it felt like the rest of your life was waiting for you outside those glass doors that keep you prisoner to the capitalist society that you are forced to participate in as Robin would put it.
“Besides,” You shrug her off nonchalantly, “I’ve got plans later.”
“You never have plans.” Robin points out as you walk back to the center counter, the three girls following behind. All of them exchange the same curious expression of what could possibly be happening tonight.
“Well I do tonight.”
Making your way around the counter to organize the various sets of movies that you had picked up into their designated genre piles. The three girls stay on the other side, playing the part of the anxious audience waiting at the edge of their seats for your next act to begin.
“Where are you going?” El asks, resting her head on her hands. Her palms pushing her cheeks and lips together into a make-shift fish face.
Your eyes glance quickly at the clock above their heads.
9 minutes 23 seconds left
You ponder the question for a moment, wondering if you should even share the information with them. You knew they wouldn’t understand why you are going to this stupid function. But maybe this was supposed to be how you ended your final month in high school. Maybe this was supposed to be the big event that happens before you graduate.
“Jason Carver’s party.” You feel as if you have to force the words out of your month.
And then you wait.
“Why?” Robin questions, you can hear the disgust tones as she drags out the word.
And there it is.
This is exactly why you didn’t want to say anything. None of them exactly like Jason and why you should have kept your mouth shut in the first place.
At that moment you didn’t have an answer for Robin. At least not a good answer. At least one that she wouldn’t instantly dismiss knowing that you were lying. High school was ending, if everything went according to plan you would be out of this small town sooner rather than later and at this moment you wanted to be young and dumb. You wanted to go to this high school party just to say that you went. Just to experience the adoslance stupidity and underage drinking one last time. Trying to savor whatever distaste you had for the town of Hawkins.
And maybe because if the basketball captain invites you to his party personally, you don’t just not go. You couldn’t bring yourself to tell her about some after school makeout sessions that you had with that specific basketball captain and that maybe you were hoping for it to develop into something more. But you couldn’t possibly let Robin know that you actually wanted to go to this party and that you and Nancy have basically been talking about it for the past two weeks.
You stumble over the words as your thoughts become jumbled. Not knowing exactly what to say that would satisfy Robin, knowing nothing will at this point.
Ding
All of your heads turn rapidly to see who has stepped into the retail space. The familiar girl with short brown hair coming to your rescue, saving you from the wrath that was Robin Buckley and her opinion.
“My savior.” The whine in your tone was obvious but you didn’t care. You were just happy that Nancy was here to take you away from this conversion and this shift.
A suspicious smile rests upon her face as she comes to the small circle that you and the girls have formed. “I know something you don’t know.” She practically sings, the smile growing wider as she spreads her fingers along the counter, leaning closer to you.
“What?” Not breaking eye contact hoping that she can give it away without verbally telling the rest of the group.
“It’s about a certain boy that you like.” Her smile becomes too much to bear for her small face. You can basically see that holding in this information was visibly painful to her.
“Nancy.” You whisper in a harsh tone, you don't want anyone to know about any crushes that you may or may not have. You could feel their glancing eyes as you and Nancy share your hushed exchange.
“What boy?” El’s sweet voice echoes.
Your eyes widen as you practically beg her to remain quiet. To shut up now and forever or else .
“A boy you know.” She says without breaking eye contact. Clearly she could tell you were bluffing as she knows you would never tell a soul about any of your private conversations. Obviously Nancy wasn’t always the best keeper of your secrets, especially when it came to spilling any crush that you may have. Her motives were more childish than sinister in nature.
“A boy I know…” El whispers to herself, trying to piece the puzzle together. Counting on her fingers all the boys she currently knows.
“It’s Steve duh.” Max interjects, lightly hitting El’s arm. El’s expression reliving as the mystery is finally solved.
You instantly object to the speculation, not saying anything that is remotely audible, but you can see Nancy shaking her head yes confirming Max’s answer.
“Wait, how do you know anything about that?” You wonder out loud.
“Dude everyone knows that you like Steve.” Max adds, pushing herself onto the top of the counter. “Plus, Robin told me.”
Head whipping towards Robin, her name falling from your lips as loudly as a scream.
“I’m sorry , she got it out of me.” Robin mumbles under her breath, throwing up her hands as her last defense. Knowing that telling Max would have come out sooner or later but she was just hoping that it was much much later.
“Well it doesn’t matter be-because I really du-don’t like, I-I don’t like St-” Stumbling over your words again, trying to gain any sense of confidence to defend yourself.
“Do you want to know what I know or not?” Nancy cuts your embarrassing ramble.
“Yes…” you groan knowing that none of the three girls listening intensely on the conversion are going to go away any time soon.
“Ok,” She begins, tucking her loose hair behind her ears. “I was going into the basement to tell Mike that he needed to empty the dishwasher because I did it last time and mom always asks me to do it even though Mike is perfectly capable-”
“Nanc, the news.” Interrupting her blabbering to get back on track.
“Right, right…so…as I was walking down the stairs to the basement, I overheard Steve, Mike, Dustin and Lucas talking about you .” Enunciating the last word. The melody swirls in your head as you can only hear the words ‘Steve’ and ‘talking about you’.
“Really?” Robin practically taking the word right out of your mouth. Her intonation more baffled than yours would have been. Almost as if she can’t believe that Steve would actually like you in return. A small roll of your eyes before landing back on Nancy.
You watch as Nancy nods her head signaling that her story was true. The corners of your lips slightly turn upwards when the image of Steve talking about you comes to mind. The way he would push his brown locks away from his face wondering if you actually liked him. The way his lips would speak your name into the universe, with tones of hopefulness and desire. Your name hanging onto his lips by a thread as he talks about his little crush that he has on you with the younger boys. All looking to him to set the example to go chase after the girl of his dreams.
“Well what did Steve say?” Robin questions as your mind runs loose. You’re incredibly thankful for her at this moment for being your voice as no words can make their way out of your dry throat.
“Well that was really all that I heard.” Nancy’s gaze shifts downwards as her hand falls onto yours, lightly running circles with her thumbs trying to comfort you in some way from across the counter. “I kind of ran back upstairs before I could hear the full conversion.”
“So no confirmation or anything?” Max feels a bit of an anticlimax with Nancy’s story. Though it was the best thing that has happened all day so she couldn’t complain much but still nothing like coming into the store with big news and it falls flat.
And there you were. Trapped in your own skin as your mind continues to race. Only this time the darkness begins to seep in as your heart comes crashing down from the high you were just having. Deep down inside you knew that Steve liking you was too good to be true. But there was still a sliver of hope that you tried so hard to hang onto.
Nancy studies your face as she can tell you are getting too into your head. Her hand squeezes yours to get your attention, “He could like you.” Hoping that her words would be the cure to the wash of sadness that has overtaken you.
“You don’t know that.” Your voice cracking as it feels like your world begins to break. Steve now knows that you like like him and you have no idea how he feels or what he is doing.
“Why don’t you go ask him?” The soft voice speaks again, El’s bright eyes full of a small dose of hope.
Robin practically screams with excitement over El's comment, “El’s right. He’s at Nancy’s house right now. You could tell him how you feel.” Her hands tightly wrapped around yours and Nancy’s arms, shaking them frantically.
“And say what exactly?” Trying to clarify what exactly this group wants you to do. Trying to understand how they think this is a good situation.
“Hey I like you, do you like me, like’s makeout.” Max says so casually while picking at the sole of her shoe.
Nancy interjects before you get a chance to speak, “You’re coming over to my house anyways so what’s the harm?”
“The harm is that he could totally reject me to my face and then I would die.” You try to explain to her but it feels as if none of them are listening. None of them are understanding how this could possibly ruin your whole life. If Steve doesn't end up liking you then the next few months are going to be absolute disaster.
“ It’s now or never.” Nancy emphasizes every syllable . “You can’t avoid him forever.”
“Yeah, don’t you open with him tomorrow.” Robins addition hitting you like a semi-truck. This whole day and conversion totally making you forget that you would have to come face to face with him tomorrow morning. Feeling as if you don’t make the confession tonight than it will be ten times more awkward in the morning.
The loud sound of air being pushed through your nose, nothing making you relax as the anxiety begins to build as you look back up at the ticking clock.
2 minutes 15 seconds left
2 minutes 14 seconds left
Only this time, you didn’t want the time to run out. You didn’t want your shift to end anymore.
“Besides,” Nancy begins, her delicate voice lacing around each spoken word, “if he’s not at the house then we just go to the party like planned, right?”
Shaking your head in agreement as there was no going back in time to redo this day. There is no way you can avoid Steve forever is this God forsaken small town.
Nobody said anything after that. It was almost as if the room grew colder. The small glances that were being exchanged between the small group of girls trying to come up with any sort of plan other than just simply confessing was zero to none. Obviously you were going to think of the worst possible scenario because if Steve really doesn't like you then maybe it will hurt less. You know that's not true but you try with every ounce of you body to convince yourself that it is.
You grab your coat and purse from the back and follow Nancy outside the glass doors that once kept you safe from the impending doom that is this night.

Summary: When Amelia Hargrove came out as gay to her family… lets just say some didn’t have to good of a reaction. When they’re finally reunited things become a little complicated.
——————————————————————————————————
California: 1981
You and Billy were getting ready to head out to a party at one of your friend's houses for the night and you crush Samantha Jenkins will be there tonight. You are hoping for a very lucky game of spin the bottle tonight or seven minutes in heaven. You were quickly applying your favorite color of eye shadow to your eye lids for the night. It was glittery. You smiled at yourself in the mirror, you can't wait for this party tonight. You and Billy have been looking forward to it all week.
"You ready Billy!" You shout to him through the bathroom door.
“Yeah give me a minute!”
“Really?!” You complained. “Billy you have hogged the bathroom for the past hour! If you could smell any more like a new car I’d sell you to the lot!”
“Hey! Looking good takes time!” He responded.
“I swear you’re more of a woman then I am sometimes… prissy bitch…” you mumbled.
The door shot open with you and Billy staring at each other. “What’d you say little shit?”
‘Oh no…’ you take off down your hallway to out run Billy. You’re jumping over tables and chairs to avoid him. He is hot on your tail. Until you sprint back into yours and Max’s shared room. She looks you to you with wide eyes. Max and her mom have only lived with you guys for a year now. They both quickly learned the dynamic of the Hargrove real soon.
Max knew your were different. She knew you would stare at the same girls Billy would stare at. She didn’t quiet get it. She thought other girls were weird. She also didn’t get why you and Billy were always so hush hush around your dad. Both you and Billy would always become more quiet when he comes around. She wasn’t completely dumb; she saw the bruises you and Billy suffered from your father. She saw the bond the you and your brother had, she wished so desperately that you would have the same with her. You are opening up to her more. You took her to the skate park so she could practice her tricks and show you. You kept Billy at bay when it came to him being mean to her, and you were probably opening him up to her being big brother to her. You were like a glue to the family, as much as your father dislikes you.
Billy started smacking you with one of your throw pillows cause of what you said to him. You are laughing non stop. Once the beating of the pillow was over you turned to Max.
“You sure you’ll be fine?” You asked.
“Yeah, I’ll be fine.” She answered straightly.
“You know we’ll stay if you want us to.” You reassured.
“You will…” Billy scoffed. You went an smacked his arm. “Ow…” he said while rubbing it.
“We’ll be down the street Max if you need us, and we’ll be back before Susan and Dad. Alright.” You smiled at her. She smiled back to you.
"See ya Madmax!" You said before bolting out the door and locking it to go to the party down the road in your neighborhood.
"Why are you nice to her?" Billy questioned.
"Um cause she lives with us now and she's just a kid?" You answered with confusion in your voice. You never understood Billy's dislike for Max, but you're trying to fix that.
"Listen I know you don't like Susan or Max, but they're kinda stuck with dad now." You said to Billy, "And we've been stuck with him of the past 4 years since mom left..." Billy looked to you with saddened eyes. When mom left it hit you pretty hard. You really missed her just like he did. But after all the calls you both knew she was never coming back. Billy changed for the worse became for ruff and violent. You ,however, stayed the way you are. A sweet smile on your face, always willing to help someone, and just being you. You were way better than Billy ever could be.
"I got ya baby sis, I'll try." Billy answered.
"Good." You smiled to him. "And what is this baby sister nonsense you act like I'm not only 3 minutes younger then you."
"Oh sorry 3 blissful minutes before your crying ugly face came into the world."
"Oh crying I see, I guess I'll tell everyone how you cried when I gave you your earring that you "toughened through"." You laughed. All Billy did was push you into a grass ditch as you laughed even harder.
"Piece of shit." Billy grinned.
"Get my fucking skirt dirty, and I'll bury you stuff in the backyard again." You threaten.
That's when you both arrived to the party, a quick 10 minute walk. You get into the party, starting off with some beer. You drank for about 30 minutes, dancing with your friends, shouting your heart out to the music, and over all enjoying your time at the party.
Then the moment you have been hating for all night has arrived. Spin the bottle. You were so hyped.
"Hey I'm gonna smoke a cigarette outside with Jackson." Billy said. You nod at him and he was on his way out. You take your seat in the circle of teens. Samantha right across from you. You were so ready. The spinning has begun. Chris had to kiss Jenny. Charolette had to kiss Scott. Andy had to kiss Charlie C. The spinning kept going and going. When ever the guys landed on other guys they all made a big deal out of it. But when a girl landed on another girl they all cheered for it.
'Ugh, horny pigs... can't even last past 5 minutes' you sneered. That was when you saw the bottle turn in your direction, landing on you. You look up and make eye contact with Samantha.
'GOD IS GOOD!' You cheered in your thoughts.
You stood straight on your knees as did Samantha. You both leaned in to each other. Your lips connecting. It was like a flower blooming in the spring, this was way better than any guy you kissed in other spin the bottles. You knew you liked girls more than guys, but this was a whole other level. You swore you could've continued kissing Samantha when...
"What the fuck are you doing!!" An all to familiar voice shouted. Dragging you by the collar of your shirt out the door of the party to the front yard. You are shoved out only to be met with a straight faced Billy. You stand next to him as you face your dad. He was red, he was raging.
"Walk home. NOW!" Your Dad shouted. You saw some classmates laughing cause you both got caught. The difference is if they got caught they get grounded, but we get beaten into the ground. The walk home was silent. You don't think the air has ever been more still. When you both returned home, you were sat down on the couch with your Dad standing before you menacingly staring down at the both of you.
"So you both left your little sister home alone to go act like a bunch of dumbasses at a party!" He shouted.
"We're sorry... dad." You whispered out. You felt a hard smack to your head from him.
"You better be you stupid bitch!" He growled.
"It wasn't her idea, I convinced her to go with me dad." Billy tried to take the blame for you. You heard the smack go across Billy's face. You just stared down at your hands.
"I come home find Maxine by herself." He started. "While you both are at a party getting drunk, smoking, and did god know fucking what else." Neither of you said anything. Your dad grabbed you by your shoulders shaking them up to make you look at him.
"Stop looking down like a pussy!" He shouted into your face. your eyes begin to whelm with hot tears.
"Hey it's not her fault dad!" Billy shouted at him. Wrong move. Billy was dragged to his room. You heard the curses and beating from the living room. You just stared straight ahead as you heard your brother be beaten in the room next. Just for defending you from your Dad's wrath.
You heard slow boot steps come your way. You stiffened, more tears started to form in your eye going down you cheeks, your blood rushing, everything was going way to slow. Your dad now stood next to were you were sitting. You didn't look up to him; you kept your tear filled eyes forward.
"So. You're a faggot?" Your dad questioned. You said nothing. Not wanting to answer. Your father's hand went threw your hair a gripped it tight. You swore he was going to pull it out.
"Are you some faggot!" He yelled into your ear. You were now crying, the dam has been broken. Tears were streaming down your cheeks. No words were coming out if your mouth. It felt like you were choking.
"Kissing some girl! God your mother would hate you!" He kept shouting at you. He dragged you to the door of your bedroom an slammed you into it. Staring down at you.
"You are fucking pathetic, worthless dyke." He growled to you. There was nothing but hatred in his eyes to you. You slowly turn the knob of the door to your room. But you were quickly slapped across the face before he left your alone. You make your way into your room for the night, crying yourself to sleep in your bed.
A week has passed since that Friday night. Your dad kept saying you were spreading a sickness with everything your touched. Billy tried to protect you the best he could, he took every blow for you. And you patched him up every time. Max was forbidden from talking to you and you couldn't do anything about it. But hopefully today things will be a bit more chilled out.
What you didn't know was that Neil sent Susan, Billy, ad Max out to run some "errands" for dinner tonight. When you got back home from your friends house you saw Susan's car gone, only your dad's truck in the driveway. You walk through the front door to your house.
"Amelia!" You flinched at the sudden noise of your dad's voice. You walk over to the kitchen where you found your dad.
"Go pack a bag or two, me and Susan are taking all of you on a small vacation to the city for the next week." He said. "Susan and the rest of them already left."
"Really?" You said quietly.
"Yes." He said firmly. " Go pack your shit and grab some money cause I'm not buying any shit for you." You walked to your bedroom and packed a duffle bag full of clothes. You grabbed the little money you have hidden away in your room. Your dad was already in his truck waiting for you. You put your stuff in the back an put your self up in the front seat.
Neil made his way out of the drive way, the last time you'll ever see that house again.
. . .
"Neil! We're back!" Susan yelled. She looked around an saw no sign of her husband. She went to the garage thinking he moved his car there but saw nothing.
"Billy!" Susan shouted.
"What." Billy answered bluntly.
"Where is your sister?" From the statement Billy rushed to your room to see you not in there and some of your clothes gone.
"No." Billy said. "Nononono, NO!" He was looking all over the house for you. You were no where to be found. You were gone. Just like his mom. His dad has taken you away from him.
All Billy could do was cry in his room. His twin was gone. His baby sister was gone and he doesn't know where. He failed to keep you safe from if dad.
Max watched all of it unfold in front of her.
. . .
You have been in the car for a straight hour now. You were looking out the window at the desert. Nothing for miles. Neil pulled into a motel parking lot.
"We're staying here for the night." He said as he parked the car. You got out of the car with your duffle bag on your side. You made your way to the front desk with your dad were he got the key. You weren't dumb, this was all sketchy.
"Here go put your stuff in the room." Neil said putting the key into your hand. You nodded to him. Making your way to the room opening the door to the empty room. You look around confused. You dropped your bag on the ground, putting the key in your pocket.
Then you heard his truck start up. You walk over confused looking at him.
"Dad! What are you doing?" You questioned. That's when he started to pulled out of his parking space. "DAD!" You start to run after his truck. Like some sick joke he slowed enough for you to pillion the lever of the door.
"Dad! STOP, Please!" You were shouting to him. Panicked tear started to whelm your eyes. He started to speed up. You keeping pace with the truck smacking on the back part.
"I'm sorry! Dad I'm SORRY!" You shouted. "Listen I'll never disobey you again I promise. DAD PLEASE!" You cried as you tripped on the uneven ground below you as your dad drove away. Leaving you in the dirt crying.
"Billy... Billy!" You yelled out to your brother. You just wanted your big brother. You walked back to the motel. Going to the room that you had to stay in now.
Your dad has abandoned you, just like your mom. Tears were going down your cheeks. You sat in the floor of the room for a good ten minutes till a knock on the door scared you. You hopped up hoping by some miracle your brother found you. You open the door to only meet the smoking front desk lady from earlier. Your smiled dropped.
"Hey sweetie." Her gruff voice said. "I saw what just happened and I'm sorry..." You said nothing to her. You just stared at her sniffling. She sighed at the sight of you, "Listen I'm only doing this once cause you remind me of my granddaughter, I'll give you a ride to the bus station and you can get a ticket back home." You nodded at her. You gave her the room key back and grabbed your bag.
Just like she said she drove you to the bus station to get a ticket home. She even gave you a hundred bucks to help with anything else. The front desk lady gave you a gruff but soft goodbye as she left you at the bus station. You walk in with your bag and money to the front desk of the station.
"Hello miss, what can I do for you today?" The desk worker said.
"I need a ticket." You said plainly , no emotion left. The desk worker just stared at you.
"Where to honey?"
"Santa-" You stopped for a minute. You didn't want to go back to Santa Monica, nothing would be left for you there. The message was made pretty clear to you.
"Santa Monica, honey?"
"No." You stated, "What's your furthest ticket?"
"Umm." The worker started typing in their computer for a second. "Our furthest ticket is... Hawkins Indiana."
"I'll take that." You said, giving them the money and taking your ticket to Indiana.
Hawkins Indiana: 1984
It has been three, four by next fall, years since you left everything in California behind. When you arrived to Hawkins you had little money and what you had in your duffle bag with you. You are now 17 turning 18 next March. You think about Billy everyday. But with what that has happened you can't dwell on things. You live with a woman named Joey Byers and her two sons.
When you arrived in Hawkins at 14 Joyce Byers found you walking the dirt road trying to find someplace dry to find to sleep for the night. Joyce took you in an let you stay the night with her. After that night you found yourself living with her for two years. When everything happened with Will accrued you were there for her and Johnathan when they needed.
You helped look for Will in search parties. You helped the boys hide Eleven in Mikes basement. You helped Steve, Johnathan, and Nancy take down a demagorgan. You're gonna be honest, you've probably faced death more times with Neil then any interdimensional creature. After everything that happened last year you started to pick up more around the house. You didn't want to burden Joyce since she took you in. You work at the music shop in town. You put 50% of your paychecks to rent or bills at the Byers home.
Joyce has tried many times to talk to your about your family back in California, hell even brought Hopper out to try a crack ya. You never budge. Hopper has concluded that, "You've been through something and now they're dead to you." The only response you gave was "Not all of them..." Nothing else after that. You have a new life here and you're not going to have it ruined by your past. It wasn't a secret that you were gay. It was very well known fact in town that you were into women. Yeah some kids yelled slurs to you but none of it effected you. You were actually able to meet another lesbian in town, well a closeted one. Her name was Robin Buckley, you met her in your art class when you were a sophomore and she was a freshmen. You both got along pretty well. She was actually really pretty you thought but since you never actually dated a girl you were nervous in telling her your feelings.
The date was October 28, 1984 Halloween was this Friday. You were gonna take Will and the boys trick or treating.

I hope you enjoy this, this was an idea I’ve had for a while.

Ms. Buckley going inside with you during the BBQ and fingering you for the first time while the party goes on outside. You elected not to wear panties with the sundress, hoping she'd take advantage of it. 🥴😵‍💫🥴😵‍💫🥴😵‍💫
From this post, this accidentally became slightly smutty so…reader is 18+!
Shes so😵‍💫😵‍💫 you had asked her if you could tell her a secret, leaning in and cupping your hands around her ear you whispered “I’m not wearing any panties” and did this innocent little fucking giggle and Robin snapped
She grabbed your wrist tight asking you to show her were the bathroom was, despite having been in your house countless times. She dragged you to your bedroom, pushing you to lay against the bed. Hovering over you she let her fingers travel under your dress, shaking her head once she felt how wet you were.
“You really get off on this? Teasing me? Acting all fucking innocent while your bare under this dress?” You had a wicked smile, finally having her right where you want her.
“More than you know Ms.- ohmygod!” She cut you off with a quick glide of her fingers against your clit, sinking one finger inside of you quickly after that.
“Shut up and be good for once, and don’t think for a second I won’t leave you like this.”

Wordcount: 1.8k
Tumblr media
Smut below the cut!
It’s quiet - the kind of quiet that only falls over suburbia, in the dead of night. Crickets chirp outside, the din of night settling over Hawkins like a blanket. The light static of the TV illuminates the room - The Princess Bride had ended hours ago, but neither of you had bothered to get up to rewind the tape, let alone turn off the TV.
In fact, you had gotten… distracted. Because what had started as a sleepover is turning into something more.
You and Robin have been seeing each other for the last few months; not many people know. Steve, of course, and Nancy had found out soon after. None of the kids even know. Robin isn’t ready for that, and quite frankly, neither are you. Around others, you’re limited to hands held under tables, stolen kisses in cars, and alibis for how and where you spend your nights. As far as Robin’s parents know, you two are really good friends - which, in a way, isn’t a lie. So, when you came to stay the night, her parents didn’t bat an eye. In fact, Mrs. Buckley had said, it’s so lovely that you girls still love having sleepovers!
If only she knew.
It had started innocently, really - any moment with Robin was time well-spent. After the movie ended, you had both started talking about life, getting deep, as late night conversations tend to go. Then, the giggles had started - an all-out laughing fit, where every little moment sent you both into another round of uncontrollable mirth, shhhh-ing each other with little success.
“We have to be quiet,” Robin says, pressing her finger to her lips. You clutch your sides, giggling at something stupid she had said.
“I can’t,” you gasp, struggling to breathe. You fall back against the mattress, cackling.
“You have to,” she whispers, fighting her own laughter.
“Oh yeah?” you say, raising your eyebrows challengingly. “Are you gonna make me?”
A devilish glint passes Robin’s eyes, as she smiles and leans in closer.
“Yeah,” she whispers, her face inches from yours. “I think I will.”
Then she’s closing the distance between you two, her lips meeting yours. It’s sweet, and slow, and you kiss her back immediately, sighing into her mouth. Now, neither of you are saying anything. The kiss soon becomes more hungry, desperate - you two haven’t had a true moment alone in weeks, and you’re both feeling it.
Robin moans breathily into the kiss, and you open your mouth slightly, allowing her tongue to enter. You could die happily with the taste of Robin on your tongue - like bubblegum and Coke, and the scent of summer rain and her strawberry shampoo.
You lean back more, back flat against the bed now - she’s pressing into you, chest-to-chest. You feel her hand snake up under your t-shirt, softly brushing against the skin of your stomach, making her way up. As she gently cups your breast, you gasp.
“Robin,” you sigh, arching your back to lean into her touch as her thumb circles your nipple.
“No bra,” she whispers. “Thank god.”
“It was - ah, fuck - I was ready for bed -” you gasp, as she continues to palm your breast.
“Yeah? Well, change of plans, babe,” she murmurs, pressing a kiss to the column of your throat.
You arch up again, pressing your clothed core up into her thigh, desperate for friction to resolve the heat pooling between your legs.
She laughs huskily against your skin. “Desperate, huh?”
“Shut up,” you groan.
“What do you want, baby?” she asks, peppering more kisses up and down your neck. You just sigh, threading your hands through her hair.
“Use your words, sweetheart - you’ve gotta tell me what you want -”
“Fuck, I - I want more - I want you - it’s been so long -”
You’re aware that you’re practically begging, grinding up into Robin’s thigh, breathily moaning into each kiss as you ask for more. But, you can’t bring yourself to care, not right now.
“That can be arranged,” Robin whispers, lips inches from your ear. “But, it’s late - and my parents are home. So, you need to be quiet for me, baby. Can you do that?”
You nod, then breathe, “Yes.”
Needing no further encouragement, Robin pulls away, pulling at the hem of your shirt. Taking the cue, you hastily reach down and pull it over your head. She fumbles with your pajama shorts, shimmying them down your legs and tossing them carelessly across the room, baring you to her. Robin smiles at the sight.
“Wow,” she whispers, eyes raking up and down your form. “I’ll never get used to how beautiful you are, you know that?”
Despite yourself, you feel the heat rush to your face, suddenly shy.
“You’re one to talk,” you murmur back - even after all this time, just looking at Robin doesn’t cease to take your breath away. Her lips are swollen and glossy from kissing - from kissing you - and her hair is mussed from where your fingers had been moments before.
She smiles softly, and pulls herself back over you, pressing a soft kiss to your lips.
“Let me take care of you,” she breathes. “But not a sound out of you, got it?”
You nod, and she smirks, a mischievous glint in her eye as her hand snakes down, down, down -
W
She runs a finger along your slit, and gasps.
“So wet, Jesus - all this just for me?”
You bite your lip, and nod. She presses another kiss to your lips, more wet and messy, as her finger finally brushes against your clit. You moan, and your eyes flutter shut.
“Good girl,” she whispers, starting to rub small circles around the bundle of nerves. You involuntarily buck into her hand, as she spreads the lips of your cunt with her fingers.
Your chest begins to rise and fall rapidly as she continues to stroke your clit.
“Does that feel good, baby?” she asks. You just nod, unable to speak as stars begin to dance behind your eyes. Without missing a beat, she slowly sinks a finger inside of you. You groan at the intrusion, throwing your head back.
“Fuck,” you cry, “More, baby, please -”
“Shut up,” she whispers, clamping her free hand over your mouth. “Do you want the whole neighborhood knowing that I’m fucking you right now?”
You moan into her hand, grinding up into her hand again.
After a moment, she slides a second finger into you, stretching you out. Your hands grip the sheets as she begins to pump them, slowly, taking her time as she brushes that spongy spot inside of you that has you seeing stars. She starts to return attention to your clit with her thumb, causing you to curl up into her, burying your head into the crook of her neck.
You feel the heat building up in your core, a familiar, tight coil forming within you. She speeds up the ministrations of her fingers, brushing against that soft, sensitive part inside you, making your toes curl and your vision start to go white behind your eyes. Yes, yes, yes -
You come with a muffled scream, pressing your face into Robin’s shoulder to suppress the sound, remembering the need to be quiet. You clench around her fingers, coating them in your slick as you come down from your high.
“Just like that,” she croons. “Holy shit, you’re doing great, baby.”
You sigh as she extracts her fingers from you. Before you can say anything else, Robin is kissing between the valley of your breasts, making her way down your body. She presses open, messy kisses into your skin.
“Robin?” you ask, eyes flying open as she makes her way down. “What are you -”
“Shhhhh -” she says, bringing a finger to your lips. “I know you’ve got another one in you - I need to taste you, I’ve been missing you.”
Your heart does a somersault at that - she’s always so unbelievably good to you, in every way. She moves down, getting off the bed, leaving you lying there on the edge. You prop yourself up on your elbows. She looks up at you devilishly at you from between your legs, pressing a kiss to the inside of your knee, never breaking eye contact with you as she works her way up.
Part of you wants to protest, to tell her to lay back and let you have her. But, she’s peppering kisses up your thigh, and it’s so hard to say no to Robin, especially like this. Before you can say anything else, she buries her head between your thighs, and suddenly nothing else matters.
She closes her lips around your clit, making your toes curl and your entire body arch. Every movement of her tongue against your pussy makes you tense anew, new waves of pleasure shooting directly to your core. You’re still sensitive from your orgasm mere minutes ago, twitching at Robin’s every touch. Your hands reach  desperately for something, anything, before finally finding her hair between your legs. You grab onto her silky locks, eliciting a groan out of her.  She opens her mouth more, messily sucking at your soaked pussy.
Her tongue circles your clit expertly. You can’t even think, can’t form coherent thoughts beyond yes. Your hips jerk, rolling into her face as she continues. She slides her hand up then, finding your hand and interlocking fingers with you, giving your hand a gentle squeeze as she continues to eat you out.
“Robin,” you moan, your voice breaking. “Fuck, fuck - I’m - I’m gonna -”
“Do it,” she breathes into your cunt. “Come for me, sweetheart.”
One last swipe of her tongue on your clit, and the dam breaks for the second time tonight. You bite your own hand, silently screaming as you toss your head harshly onto the mattress. Everything below your hips is on fire, squeezing and releasing, your pussy flooding her face. Robin continues to gently help you through your orgasm, lapping at you gently, until it’s too much. You gently tap her head, signaling her to stop before you’re too overstimulated. Soon, you’re trying to catch your breath, coming down from your high as pleasure continues to ebb and flow through you.
Robin crawls back up to you, her face glossy with the evidence of your orgasm.
“How was that?” she asks, almost innocently. You just laugh softly, and pull her in for a messy kiss, tasting yourself on her tongue.
“Fucking fantasic,” you breathe. She smiles into the kiss.
“I’m glad,” she replies, softly stroking your hair out of your face. You look into your eyes, and feel a grin forming on your face.
“Well,” you whisper, stroking her cheek, “I think I owe you one, now.”
Before Robin can protest, you’re kissing her again, and sliding your hand under the hem of her shorts.
“Remember,” you whisper, lips pressed right to her ear. “We’ve gotta be quiet.”
Then, she’s laughing, and you’re shutting her up with another kiss, and nothing else in the world matters.

Between a Munson and a Buckley
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: unrequited love is a tough pill to swallow but that pain is made more bearable when unlikely company comes.
It hurt, having an crush on someone who’s totally oblivious to it because they’re in love with someone else who wasn’t you and is just as if not even more oblivious to their attempts. ‘Yeah that’s probably why it’s called a crush.’ You thought to yourself as you reminisced in watching the way Robin looked at Vickie the same exact way you looked at her; longing, admiration, loving, like a lovesick puppy.
It brought upon a tightness within your throat and a stinging to your eyes as the unfortunate realisation that no matter how hard you hoped, pleased, begged, wished on fallen eyelashes or wishbones you’d never be the reason of Robin’s long winded tangents nor be subjected to her subtle staring as she tries to take in every feature of your face and the insecurities within them as though they were like stars embedded within the skin of your cheeks. It just wasn’t mean to be between you and Robin and you were reminded of that whenever she spoke of Vickie’s laughter over the muppet joke and how genuine it was and how she wanted to ask her out but couldn’t bring herself to do so while your heart broke but each time into smaller and smaller pieces that sooner or later it would be proven too difficult to fix.
You put distance between the two of you recently to save yourself but just like the old saying about how the heart growing fonder with distance. It also didn’t help that Robin took notice of this and began trying to Weasel her way back into your life by any means necessary, you even avoided going to Family Video all together because even if she wasn’t there Steve would be there anyways to tell her of your visitation which would only make it more evident to her that she was the one you were avoiding. Whenever you were at school you’d have earphones in so you wouldn’t be bothered or pretend that you had after school clubs to attend when everyone who knew you knew that was bullshit; You never put in the effort to join any club that suited your hobbies. Yet there was always one place you couldn’t avoid her without making a scene; the cafeteria.
“Hey y/n/n.” Robin greeted as she slid into the seat next to yours, smiling briefly at you before beginning to eat her lunch while you only took small bites of yours. “Hey Robin.” You replied halfheartedly as you tried to look anywhere else other then her and decided to hone in on the window across from you that showed the field where several students were chasing in their chance to soak up the sunlight whilst it still lasted. Robin knew something was off and her smile faded to that of a concerned frown. Usually you would’ve called her Robin-hood or birdie, general knock-offs of her name but something felt different to Robin it didn’t feel right in the slightest. Placing her hand on your shoulder and leaning in she whispered, “Hey are you alright? You don’t look like your usual self.” You hated how you practically melted under her touch and how your chest warmed at her concerns of your well-being but your mind forced you to remember that she was only doing so because you were her friend, nothing more and that you shouldn’t read so deeply into it when it’s nothing more then what it appears on the surface.
“Actually I’m not feeling so good,” you rushed out as you removed her hand from your shoulder and began to stand up from your chair, shrugging your bag onto your shoulder as Robin only looked at you with worry in her eyes, “I’m just gonna go get some fresh air, catch ya later.” Without letting her get a word in you practically sprinted towards the doors of the cafeteria with no real destination and down the halls until you found yourself outside, beneath the shade of the school building before bringing yourself to sitting down just near the entrance with your back against the wall, knees pressed against your chest, feeling utterly lost. “When is it my time to be loved, to be selfish with someone instead of relinquishing my happiness for others to be happy?” You whimpered, allowing the tears to finally fall onto the fabric of your jeans; wanting nothing more then to just will your feelings for Robin away but you knew better then anyone that it wouldn’t be that easy. That your feelings would just only fester and linger painfully until they found a new somebody to latch themselves onto.
It was painful but there wasn’t exactly anything you could physically do. You were too caught up in your failed attempt of gaining a love life to notice that Eddie Munson was standing by the doorway after having followed you out of the cafeteria when he noted the distraught and disheveled look you had when walking past his table that he felt that it was his duty to at least check on you and potentially stop you from doing something stupid and harmful; He just didn’t expect to come across you weeping to yourself. Eddie wouldn’t consider himself the best at comforting people but he would at least try. For you. To bring back that smile he’d catch glimmers of now and then whenever he had the golden opportunity.
“Hey, are you alright?” You quickly wiped your tears away with your hands before looking over at the voice to see Eddie’s brown eyes peer into your own with the same concern as Robin’s. “Yeah, I’m-“ “that was a rhetorical question, I could tell you weren’t because if you were you wouldn’t have rushed out of the cafeteria looking like someone had just ripped your heart out from your chest.” Eddie cut you off as he made himself comfortable next to you, shoulder brushing against shoulder, thigh brushing against thigh. “Eddie I assure you I’m fine.” Eddie scoffed indignantly, “bullshit.” He says softly and you knew that your excuses weren’t going to cut it for Eddie. You didn’t know him that well but you knew him enough to know that he wasn’t as much of a freak as everyone claimed him to be and that in fact he’s quite sweet and caring and a bit of a doofus.
“Fine I’m not okay, I’m just dealing with the fact that my unrequited crush on my friend will now and forever will be unrequited. Happy.” You snapped before bringing your attention to your hands and tear stained jeans. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to snap I just-“ you sighed, bringing your hands to your face as you tried to relieve yourself of the built up stress and tension. “Hey, it’s alright don’t apologise for how you feel, besides whoever your feelings are unrequited towards aren’t worth your affection. Oh and stupid because even though we don’t know each other that well enough to be considered friends I think your pretty cool.” Eddie rubbed the back of his neck as he tried to offer you some comfort and firmly believed that he was probably failing at even attempting to do that too. You on the other hand began to find some comfort in Eddie and the fact that he found you cool was enough to bring a small smile to your face as the two of you sat there for a while longer in silence before you brought your head against his shoulder, causing Eddie to flinch at the contact but relax soon after seeing that it was you that was touching his shoulder and let a small smile grace his lips.
“You know I ah…I meant it when I said that you’re cool.” Eddie admitted after awhile sheepishly.“I’d hope so, i wouldn’t want you to spout sentimental crap and not mean it just to spare my feelings and all that shit.” you chuckled finding him quite humorous even in the most shittiest of moments. It made you truly appreciate Eddie and everything he is that it just made you wish that during this time you could’ve been carelessly living it up with him doing god knows what instead of metaphorically pulling out your hair over something that was never going to become reality. Looking back at it now you really could’ve saved yourself the trouble. Eddie looked at you with an offended look, “you really think I would just say that shit to just anyone as if it’s gospel? Shit y/n I thought you would’ve viewed me differently then group me together with those fake fucks.” You laughed a little harder as you found yourself resting against Eddie even more as tears of happiness escaped the corners of your eyes.
“Holy shit Eddie I hadn’t laughed that hard in fuck knows how long.” You wiped the tears from your eyes as you started at him and his deep brown eyes, the pain in your chest was no longer there and in its place was akin to a wake fluffy blanket of comfort. “You didn’t have to come cheer me up you know.” You added, just about ready to send him back to the cafeteria to his friends when he just kept looking at you as though he could see you instead of through you like Robin. “Don’t know what your talking about,” Eddie shrugged, “I came here of my own fruition. No one asked me to come after you I did that because I genuinely cared for your well-being and wanted to do anything I could to make it that little bit better.” He admitted as he brought a hand to yours, squeezing it gingerly as he smiled softly at you. Seeing you for who you were and not who you could possibly be for his benefit. “Well you defiantly did just that Ed,” you squeezed his hand reassuring him of his valiant efforts, “you defiantly did. You really took my mind off of things that I needed to separate myself from and I don’t know how I could repay you.”
Eddie’s eyes softened at your words and not before long a though appeared in his head and he was quick to stand to his feet, pulling you up along with him as he began to walk you through the front of school, completely ignoring the fact that the school day was far from over; you didn’t question it though as you’d rather be away from your problems with Eddie then confront them. Eddie was the escapism you greatly needed. He was your escapism from the unforgiving reality.

There is nothing like staying at home, for real comfort 🌷- pick a character or a few and come up with a prompt and I’ll write a fluff blurb <3
hi hi can u do robin buckley and her asking u to go out with her (which u assume is just as friends) but then she confesses to u on the date and it's just super cute
this is so awkward why cant i phrase things normally
Eeeeeeee thank you, I love you, this has been sitting in my docs for forever but you're finally back so it can finally see the light of day!!!
a/n: ummm to many princess bride references but I love it more than anything soooooo i'll reference it til I die <3 wc:2.4k Also, like, hardly proofread :( but I hope you like it <3 (you're an amazing friend and everyday I'm so grateful for you sara)
“Steve,” Robin rushed behind the counter and kept her back to the edge, a poor attempt to not be recognized. “Steve, Steve, Steve, please, I beg, I can’t do it. You have to help me. When do I ask you for anything?”
“Literally every day.”
“Steve, please, literally I am asking you to help the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen and you’re saying no.”
“I still don’t understand why you can’t talk to her.”
“Why can’t I talk to her?!” She looked around frantically trying to find you, making sure you weren’t close enough to hear her panicking. “Jesus Christ! Have you met me?! I’m a disaster. Last time I talked to her, I couldn’t stop!”
“I remember, Keith got all bent out of shape cus you left a line of 3 people.”
“Heh, yeah,” she agreed with a sarcastic laugh. “Also, I was saying so many things even I couldn’t keep up. It was horrible. It was so bad, I—” Steve turned her around by the shoulder and you smiled at her and held up the VHS in your hands. She finished the other half of the rotation and stopped Steve from running off to the back. “You cannot leave me alone, please, I beg of you,” she mouthed.
He twirled his finger around in the air, meaning ‘turn around,’ and pushed the swinging door open with his back, mouthing “Do it”. Leaving Robin to her own devices indefinitely.
“Hi, um, just this.” You put The Princess Bride on the counter. The 5th time you’ve rented it in 6 months (which she definitely knows from the records on your account and definitely not because she’s been keeping a mental note of everything you like. That’d be ridiculous).
“You really like this one.”
Your eyebrows kind of twitched in a way that made her regret so much as breathing wrong around you, but it vanished before she got the chance to grovel for forgiveness. “Yeah, uh, I really like it.”
She doesn’t even need to ask for your phone number anymore. It’s been on constant repeat in her mind since last Saturday and every Saturday before that. “And your phone number?” But she thought it’d be weird, too forward for you to know she knew it by heart.
“You don’t know it by now?” You raised an eyebrow and she gave you a half smile. She typed it in faster than you could watch her fingers to make sure she got it right, and the lack of hesitation did not go unnoticed by you. She really knew it.
“Uh, did you know…while they were filming, Andre the Giant needed an ATV to get around set since it was like, up on a big hill?” She asked while you counted out the change. She didn’t even want exact change. She’d put up with it. She’d make 97 cents for you, even though they’re fresh out of dimes.
“I did know that. Did you know Cary Elwes broke his toe on said ATV?”
“I did not. How’d he manage that?”
“His foot got caught on the petal and I guess it was enough to break his toe.”
“Oh wow.”
“Sorry, it’s uh, a little over.” Your fingers brushed her palm as you handed her the coins.
“Thank you,” she whispered and you felt the chill of her hand, but you wanted nothing more than to warm them in yours and never let go. She never counted change so fast, just to get to give it to you faster; for your fingertips to brush again. “Um, heh–“ she cut herself off for fear of further embarrassment.
“Sorry?”
“What?”
“You were saying something.”
“Yeah, it was dumb. I don’t–“
“It’s not dumb.”
“Yeah?”
“Now I’m curious so you kind of have to tell me now.”
“I suppose I do then. Do you want–” she huffed and started over. “Are you doing anything Thursday night?”
“I’m working til 6, but I’m free after that.”
“Yeah, at the- the arcade.”
“The arcade, yes. But what were you thinking?”
“Hm?”
“You asked if I was busy, was that just out of curiosity or did you want to go out?”
“Go out?”
“Is that a question?”
Robin just then noticed how close both of you were leaning on the counter. “Um, heh,” she cleared her throat with an awkward laugh. “They're having a special showing, at the drive in, just a town over, and uh, I was wondering if you–If you’d wanna go with me?”
“I’d love to, but I don’t have a car, my brother has it that day.”
“I don’t either.”
“My brother usually picks me up, we get off work at the same time so he could just drive me over to yours and we can figure out something else?”
“If you really want to go, we should go. I really want to take you.” You both smiled brighter than the sun at that. But then Robin had to go and have the worst idea of her life. Worse than following a middle schooler into a secret Russian bunker. “Maybe, uh, Steve could drive us?” She definitely saw the way both corners of your mouth dropped, but you were quick to pick them back up.
“Yeah, yeah. That’s uh, that’d be great. Pick me up at 6:15, yeah? Give me a chance to get ready and then we’ll go?” Robin nodded, mortified, dying on the inside, how could she be such an idiot. You spoke while walking backwards towards the door, “Great, you have my number. Give me a call if anything changes.” You never speed walked to the car. You didn’t even have the chance to turn the key in before you were throwing your head back against the rest. “Fuck, fuck, fuuuck,” then you realized you walked out empty handed. No tape in sight. “Goddamn it.” You were not going back in there.
***
“Oooohhh, is somebody ready for their big date?” Cecelia, your coworker, walked into the bathroom where you were checking your eyeliner in the mirror.
“It’s not a date.”
“The drive in with Steve ‘the Hair’ Harrington? Sounds like a date to me.”
“He’s just dropping us off.” You so, so, so carefully fixed a flake of mascara without messing up the rest of the look.
“Oh, so you’re going with someone else?” Cecelia leaned her back against the small cabinet diagonal from the 2 stalls. “Tell me everything.”
“You know the girl he works with, Robin?” She cocked her head. “Buckley?” Still nothing. “Dirty blonde, in the marching band, plays the trumpet, took AP Spanish freshman year? It was a whole thing.”
“Oh her. Yes, yes, I know her…You’re going on a date with her?”
“Well, I was kinda hoping yeah, but now she’s having Steve drive us ‘cause neither of us have a car, so now I just don’t know.”
“But you want it to be a date?” She stepped up to you and licked her thumb to fix your lipstick.
“Yeah.”
“Then kick him out. Make him fetch you guys some drinks, some popcorn. Tell him to see how many numbers he can get before the Fire Swamp.”
“They’re like a bonded pair! I can’t just separate them like that.”
“You can and you must.” And then she checked her watch. “Better watch it, Sappho. You’re cuttin it close. All that yearning is gonna make you late.”
“Fuuuuckkk.” You groaned then practically ran out the door.
Right out the door and right into Robin.
“Hi,” you smiled regardless of the disappointment in the lack of romantic undertones. You smiled big, and so did she, like your faces didn’t know how to do anything else when you looked at each other.
“Hi, how– how are you? I didn’t mean to scare you, they told me you’d be back here and I didn’t want to seem like a jerk and wait in the car for you to come out because that’d be– that’d be pretty, really shitty. And… yeah, how are you?” You were surprised she didn’t run out of breath, she hasn’t run herself out like that to you in a while. She hasn’t been nervous around you like that in a while.
“I’m good, better now that you’re here. How are you?”
“Good, really good. It starts at 7 but we should get going now if you want a good spot.”
“Yeah, that’d be great.”
“Perfect…I, uh, I hope you don’t mind, Steve brought Max and El, the boys had a campaign and they were all bored.”
Everything she says makes this less and less of a date. Whatever, doesn’t matter, you’ll take her in whatever way you can get her.
“No, that's ok. They’re cool.”
“The coolest.” She offered you her arm which you gladly took.
You’d known each other for months, why did it feel like you didn’t know what to do with each other.
“Hey, how’s it goin?” Steve asked when he got out to open the back door for both of you.
“Good, pretty good. I’m excited for tonight.”
“Good. I should warn you, me and the kids–” “We’re not kids.” “ –will probably be taking off early, Max wants to go look at some supernatural museum she found nearby, but we’ll definitely be back to pick you guys up. It’s a pretty short walk.”
“We have to walk there?!” Max asked with enough attitude to rival Mike’s. Steve gave her a look paired with a sharp nod trying to get her into the front seat. Trying his hardest to be a good wingman.
She shook her head and mouthed fine, then El took the middle seat and Max did the same head nod with her to get her to one side. Robin slid in first to take the middle and you got the seat next to her.
It was a fun ride, Steve and the girls were at their funniest, doing their best to paint Robin in only the most complimenting light. You got the perfect spot. Not too close to the front or back, the perfect distance to see the whole screen but not have it in your face and the concession stand was far enough that it was a walk but there’d be none of it’s traffic buzzing around you.
Somehow, Robin convinced you to stay behind and fix the radio to the right frequency while Steve took her to get a pep talk drinks and popcorn before he left.
“You’re gonna be fine. You were great in the car.”
“Steve, no, listen to me, I cannot do this alone. You cannot leave me.”
“Robin, listen to me. Ok? The whole time in the car she was smiling, she’s having a great time. She really likes you. You feel that electricity?”
“What?”
“The electricity? Between you guys, it’s like off the charts. You got this, man. You’re fine.” He put a hand on her shoulder and El handed her the massive popcorn from one side and Max gave her the extra large slushy with two straws from the other. Then they both gave her big smiles and two thumbs up.
“You got this,” El said and Max gave her another pat on the shoulder and off she went.
You had just got the radio right when you saw her coming down the row of cars. Clearly, her hands were overfull so just as she came up to the car you opened the door and oh fuck.
In a flash of blue, slushie was all over. All over Robin, that is. “Oh thank god none of it got in the car.” She gasped, though her lips were on their way to turning just as blue.
“Robin, no, what about you?!” The urgency was enough to pull you over the center console rather than out the door and around the front to brush off the few pieces that clumped together. “Are you ok?! I don’t care about the car. I’m so sorry, my depth perception has been so messed up from staring at the computer all day, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what I was– I wasn’t thinking.”
“I don’t think that’s how that works,” she mumbled.
“Come on, let’s go change.” You started pulling her in the direction of the bathrooms.
“Into what, I’m soaked.”
“Yeah and if you don’t get into something dry; like my sweatshirt that I promise you I don’t need before you try and tell me I’ll be cold; you’ll freeze.”
“I really don’t– You don’t have to.”
“Yes, I do. Come on.”
You took her into the family one, the big clean one right in the center of all the rest. “Here.” You pulled off the big, fluffy, crew neck and she thought she’d drop dead when she caught sight of the way your shirt rose up the slightest bit. You held it out to her and it took her a second to remember that she wasn’t dreaming.
“Thank you,” and leave it to Robin Buckley to say the dumbest joke at the worst moment. Just as she was about to pull her soaked shirt over her head, “Wow, and here I was thinking we’d get to at least a third date before you got me in such a compromising position.” She said with an unforced laugh at the end with her head still deep inside her sweatshirt so she didn’t see the feature film that was your face trying to figure out what she meant.
“This is a date?”
Really catching her off guard while she’s pulling a soaked bra, now probably stained blue, out of the sleeve.
“Uh, did you– I just– I thought–” She tried to go for the door but you caught her eye.
“I want it to be.”
“You do?”
“I’ve been tearing myself up all week ‘cause I wasn’t sure. But I really wanted it to be. So,, is it?”
She nodded fervently, “Yes, yeah, absolutely.”
“Good, so uh, do you maybe wanna go get some hot chocolates instead and we can take that blanket Steve was trying to be sneaky about and cuddle in the back seat?”
“As you wish.”
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you liked it and if you did I'd love to hear what you think <3 Comments and reblogs mean the world to me 💕💕💕 Support your creators babes

Robin Buckley x Reader
Requests are: Open. I write for a large amount of characters, so check my pinned post for details.
Summary: Steve Harrington had no luck with Robin. But you might have had better results then your brother.
You were going to get caught. Steve had no clue you were bi. No clue at all.
That was how you you and your girlfriend had gotten away with dating for so long. Steve assumed you were both just really good friends.
He never got suspicious that while all of you had a group movie night once or twice a week, you and Robin always locked the door if you were having a sleepover.
Steve assumed you were going to talk about crushes. And other girly things (he was clueless). He didn't know you were having sex or making out with his best friend.
You smiled as Robin pressed a kiss to your lips. You smiled into the kiss and cupped her cheeks as you kissed her back.
She pulls away and smiles, "You're brother is going to literally kill you for dating his best friend," she smiles at you, "Like literaly. Doesn't he keep a nail bat under his bed? I mean, you saw what he did to Vecna. You were literally there." Robin gets a horrified look on her face, "Do you think he would kill me? I'm dating his little sister," she gives you a questioning look full of fear.
"Robby, I'm literally an adult. And he is a year older. One year. And you're his best friend. He talks about you a lot," you reassure her.
You cuo her cheeks and pull her in for a more heated kiss. She gladly obliges and allows your tongue to ented her mouth.
Kissing had become a great way to calm Robins nerves. She smiles as neither one of you hear Steve's feet pad up the stairs.
You skip your hand under her shirt and trace your fingers over her abdomen. She giggles into the kiss due to the feeling. You pin her to your mattress as her tongue starts fighting your tongue.
You giggle as she wraps her arms around your neck as you slowly push up her shirt, revealing her sports bra on underneath.
Rob-
"WHAT THE FUCK," you both jump apart as Steve screams.
Robin quickly pulls her shirt down and you try to reason, "Steve, you need to calm down. You had no problem dating my best friend," you say referencing to when he had dated nancy.
"No, you have been seeing my best friend. Behind my back? And you're gay?" He exclaims and the three of your cheeks all have a nice pink tint.
"No, I'm bi. I like babes and guys," you explain as Robin hides her face in a pillow.
"I'm not sorry , but it's been around six months," you say. Steve's face falls. Six months?!?!
"Fine. But, have you two, done...it?" He asks and your cheeks go three shades darker.
"Many times. Like I said Harrington, these women are hot and your sister was the one I had in mind when I said it," Robin blurts with a smile as Steve turns as red as your new lipstick and runs out of the room muttering 'no, no, no'
"That went well," Robin teases and you burry your head in your pillow. You were never going to be able to look at your brother again.

Night Out
Chapter: Final Night Out
Pairing/Characters: Steve Harrington x Reader, Dustin, Mike, Lucas, Robin
Summary: You and Steve have been dancing around each other for sometime now, neither of you wanting to make the first move. All your friends decide it is finally time for you both to confess your feelings.
A/N: I am so sad to wrap up this series as it was just so much fun to write and explore the characters. Thank you to all the cuties who have supported this series and my writing. I LOVE YOU ALL !!! All mistakes are mine! My replies are still being weird so sorry if I am not responding to comments
This is the final part to the series. Hope you all loved it as much as I loved writing it.
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
Tumblr media
The adrenaline is wearing off, the buzzing that once coated Steve’s skin is replaced by a deep, empty pit that sets him on edge. A small part of the sinking feeling from the jarring driving from Robin and the other huge part of it being from the anxiety of telling you how he feels.
The remembrance of the past several minutes dies as flashes of Robin snatching Steve’s keys and forcefully volunteering on driving this little freak show to the party. The party where you supposedly were. The party where he can finally confesses his true feelings.
Nervously picking at his dry lips as he silently thanks the person who created seat belts. The packed car races down the street before whipping quickly into the driveway without a second of slowing down. With the sound of the gear shift locking itself into park and the car doors opening and closing, Steve can’t move. The air escaping his lungs, the buzzing in his head as he just stares out the front window. His eyes tracing the house as the music beats through the walls and the lights strobe out the windows.
The doubt starts to seep in and his mind lands on regret again. What if he is wrong? What if he goes into that party and you end up not liking him? Or worse? Steve’s mind races to all the possibilities of what you could possibly be doing in that house. Instantly shutting his eyes as it fears it may be too late.
Tapping on the passenger windows pulls Steve back to this hell of a reality, desperately wishing he can escape within his mind forever, “Dude, are you coming or what?” Dustin’s voice muffles through the window.
Steve nods his head, a quick exchange of reassuring smiles between the two boys before Steve hesitantly climbs out of the car. Stepping out of his safety net, his only means of escape, but unfortunately Robin stills has the keys and no way in hell would she let him leave without getting his confession off of his chest. Slightly annoyed at having such a good friend.
Robin leads the bunch into the party. Mike and Lucas are in awe as this is their first high school party, lightly elbowing each other back and forth at their excitement. Steve follows closely behind Dustin who every so often sneaks a glance at the older boy. Feeling sorry that this night isn’t going as easy as they all thought it would in Mike’s basement.
Steve takes a final breath before entering through the door, the music beating through his body, enough to increase his heart rate, unsure if it is actually racing from the music or his growing anxiety with each step through the crowded house.
Steve has been to many parties during his high school career, has hosted many parties, yet he feels so out of place. Combing his fingers through his hand as he looks around the rooms, barely recognizing anyone. Barely able to recognize himself when he passes a mirror.
Who is the person he’s become? He used to be so suave around other girls, but you, you were different. Constantly going over the conversations in his head that he shared with you. Nervously fixing his hair in anything that reflects to make it look nice for you. You affected Steve on a physical, mental, and emotional level.
He just couldn’t help but feel this overwhelming warmth towards you. Steve may not admit it now but the feeling of love is definitely coming to mind as he pushes his way through the kitchen. Robin and Steve subconsciously looking for you in the sea of teenagers. While the younger boys can’t help but not be able to take their eyes off of the unfolding scene of girls dancing and drinking.
Steve herds the gang into the living room, almost pushing them so they all fall onto the couch.
Taking a breath before he anxiously speaks, “Ok, stay here and don’t touch, drink or smell anything.” Both hands in front of the boys and then his pointer towards Robin, “Just watch them while I go find Y/N.”
And before Robin can interjet with some snarky comment about not wanting to babysit, Steve is already gone. His shaggy hair disappearing within the crowd.
The party is a madhouse, barely any room for Steve to move around. Wondering how the hell he is going to find you if he can barely see a couple feet in front of him. Checking all the common areas before he reaches the long hallway full of doors that obviously lead to bedrooms.
Steve’s heart drops as he hesitates, not wanting to see if you are in any of the bedrooms. Not completely knowing what he would do if he found you hooking up with someone. But he has to know, so very slowly Steve starts to move down the hallway.
Hand shakily coming up to the first door on his left, taking a deep breath as he tries the knobs, thankfully or not, the door is locked. The tiniest amount of air escapes his expanding lungs as a wash of relief fills his body.
Moving onto the next door a couple of feet on the other side of the hallway. He can see a sliver of light coming from the bottom. Taking another breath as he reaches for the handle, but before he can turn, his attention is brought upon a door opening at the end of the hallway.
And there you are.
Steve barely noticed the way you were fixing yourself until a heavy arm is placed over your shoulder. Jason Carver, smiling wide as he practically asserts dominance over Steve. No words spoken, just the small action of letting Steve know what just happened behind that closed door.
And fuck, did it crush Steve.
Standing there, just staring at the two of you, his mind running wild of the images. Trying his best to hold himself together, hold his head up high until he finally locks eyes with you. A sharp breath and then excusing himself quickly. Regretting this night almost instantly.
Shrugging Jason’s arm off of your shoulder as you make a remark of him being an asshole. Picking up your pace as you chase after Steve. Desperately needing to explain the situation. Continuing to call out his name over the pounding music, jumping above the crowd to get a better look. Pushing, shoving, bumping into anyone who got in your way.
You aren’t going to let Steve go. Not until he understands, not until he hears you out.
But Steve ignores you as you call his name. Ignores the pain that coats your voice over the loud music because he can’t seem to ignore the crushing feeling in his chest. Knowing that this idea of coming to find you, of professing his love for you was so beyond stupid that he almost can’t handle being around himself.
Finally breaking away from the party as you stop for a moment on the porch, your chest heaving rapidly as you see Steve walking across the yard, rubbing his hands up his face and through his hair.
“Please,” Jumping from the stairs to catch up to him, “Please stop.” You reach out to grab his arm but he immediately pulls away from your touch. Your electrifying touch.
“Why Y/N?” He stops, turning around to face you.  “Why would I stop? So you can tell me that you just hooked up with Jason Carver?” His words scream anger but his eyes are soft, “You think I really want to hear that?”
Steve’s voice is strained as the tears begin to build, “I like you, Y/N. I really like you. An-and I don’t care if you don’t like me back. I just thought you have to know how I feel about you, because I can’t keep living this way.” And Steve rambles on, like his mind and mouth are no longer connected. And you just stare at him.
Can’t move, can’t talk, as hearing the words fall from his mouth flutter your heart. Obviously you knew Steve liked you but hearing him actually say the words, right in front of you. It feels like a dream.
“I didn’t hook up with Jason. I couldn’t. I couldn’t go through with it.” You explain quickly. “I couldn’t go through with it because I like you too.”
The three words making the air around the two of you heat up.
Steve’s voice is low, steady, “You like me?”
“I just need you to know that before you hate me forever.” Several tears slip down your cheeks, fingers playing with the hem as your shirt.
“I don’t hate you.” He takes a step closer towards you, his cologne filling your nose, “I mean I came to this stupid party because I like you so much.” Steve takes another step, closing the gap between you two even more, “I could never hate you.”
The sound of your heart pumping clogs your ears as your breaths become uneven. The brown haired man is standing just a little too close for you to properly think straight. The effect that Steve Harrington has on you is overwhelming.
“Oh my god just kiss her already.” Robin shouts.
Collectively pulling you and Steve from this little staring contest. A giggle escaping your lips as you lick your lips, eyes shifting from Steve’s eyes to his mouth. His fingers reach out towards you, lightly gripping the hem of your shirt to pull you closer to you. Steve looks into your eyes as his hands cup your face, sinking into his kiss as your lips meet.
“Finally.” Dustin shouts.
Quickly prompting Steve to flip off the younger boy as he continues to kiss you.

Summary: Amelia is now facing new challenges within Hawkins. One being her having the miss her friend Tina's annual Halloween party. So to counter for what she thought would be a boring night, she stopped by a little birdie's house instead.
Tumblr media
I are currently sitting inside your shared ride with Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington. I had the pleasure to have the whole back seat to myself, with my boots propped up onto the window opposite of your head. My baggy washed out jeans hanging from my ankles with my golden colored sweater tucked into my jeans with a brown belt.
“Steve, the more you complain about it and not work on it the more it’s going to suck.” I said to him after hearing him complain about his college essay for the past fifteen minutes.
“It’s not bad Steve, it just needs some rearranging.” Nancy reassured. “You just have to…” Nancy went onto this thing about how he can fix it but I truly did not care. They went onto something else about some dinner that they had to go to. Everything came to a halt when a roar of an engine stopped every word that was about to be exchanged. Both Nancy and Steve stepped out of the car to have a look at the noise while I only peered out of the window. We all saw a charged blue Camaro drive by us and parked. Our eyes still followed to see who owned it. My eyes made contact with the California plate on the back of it.
“What are the odds..” I laughed, I’m kinda happy another Cali kid is here. Maybe I can make a new friend. Two people got out of the car, a dude wearing denim on denim with curly hair styled into a mullet and a twelve year old with red hair with a skateboard. They both looked familiar. But then I saw it, it was the missing earring to my set that I had when I left in California. I thought it fell out when I was packing my bags.
“No fucking way…” I said in shock. ‘Out of every town in this country, you just had to show up here…’
“Shit.”
You gotta be fucking kidding me. Out of every damn state that those asswhips could pick. They pick my state. Indi-fucking-ana. I can’t handle this. I'm gonna throw up. I don’t have the energy to go find a new place to live. I can’t let any of them see me. I can’t live through this. This has to be some sort of nightmare. A really bad nightmare. God I didn’t change my last name either. Everyone is going to know. He’s going to figure it out and I’ll be thrown in front of a flippin bus. What am I going to do?
“Hey!” An all to perky Tina jumped up at me while I was at my locker. “How are you Amy?”
God, here it begins.
“What’s up…” My voice sounds frazzled, get it together. “I’m fine. What do you need?”
“Well as you know by now there is a new hot topic on campus.” Tina grinned.
“Yeahh.” I answered clearly to most with no enthusiasm, but not to Tina. “What does he have to do with me?”
“Well. I was hoping you could hook me up with your cousin!”
“Cousin? No he is not my cousin, we are no were near related.”
“Really?” She seemed not to believe me. “You guys just look really similar, I mean if you never took your sunglasses off I’d think you were him.” She obviously meant it as a joke. I can tell by the light giggle that she gave after making her comment.
“Well we’re not so I can’t help you there.” I stated blankly to her. “Hope you’re able to get in his pants.” I tried to end the conversation there but I was stopped.
“Hey wait!” I turned back to face Tina, who had pulled out an orange slip of paper. “Here you're invited, hope you can make it.” She said before skipping away to her next class. I looked down at the flier to see ‘ Let’s get sheet faced’ printed in bold on it. I laugh a bit at the play on words before folding it and putting it in my pocket. ‘I am skipping school today’ I made my way to the back exit of the school when a light force knocked me a few steps back.
“Oh my god! I am so sorry, that was completely my fault. Please don’t yell at me, I’m just trying to get to chem.” A familiar frantic voice called out to me. Robin Buckley.
“Robin, it’s okay.” I reassured her.
“Are you sure? Cause listen if that scary dude is related to you please don’t send him my way.” She begged.
I huffed. “I’m not related to him, Robin, don’t worry. I’m playing hooky, I’ll catch ya later… hopefully?” I say. I start walking past her to the free world from Hawkins High School
“Yeah, to-totally.” The faint voice of Robin can be heard from the closing doors.
Halloween Night: Friday 31, 1984
“Listen Tina, I can’t make it.” I told the bummed girl over that phone. “I’m sorry, I’ll come to the next party you throw.” I reassured her.
“But why are you flaking out on the Halloween bash! You never miss this specific party in the few years that I have known you.” That is true. Once you went to Tina’s annual halloween party you’ve never missed it. But that is changing this year. Being that your twin brother and step sister now live here, there is going to be a lot more flaking then just at the halloween party.
“Tina I told you, I’m taking Will trick or treating with his friends tonight.” You told her once again. “We can do a sleepover some time next week… okay.”
“Okay.” I heard her sigh, “I see ya around.”
“See ya later Tina.” I hung up the yellow landline. I walk over to the livingroom to see Will fixing his ghostbusters costume.
“I still can’t believe no one else dressed up this year.” Will said sadly, “Everyone dressed up last year.”
“It’s okay Will, they just think they're too cool to dress up.” I reassured the small kid. In the back you can hear Bob explaining to Johnathan how the camera works when Joyce came behind Will with his, whatever it is, backpack for his costume.
“Listen, stay close to your brother and Amy, and you get a bad feeling just tell them so you can come straight home.” Joyce told him. “You promise.” Will gave her a thumbs up. “Okay.”
“You ready to rock and roll, Will the wise.” I smiled down at him.
“Be safe.” Joyce shouted out to us, mainly to Will. We all got into the car. Jonathan driving, Will in the passenger seat, and with me in the back. We start to make our way over to Mike’s neighborhood.
“I just don’t get what she sees in him.” Jonathan says all of a sudden.
“What?” Will answered in utter confusion.
“Bob.”
“At least he doesn’t treat me differently.” Will said. “I can’t even go trick or treating by myself. It’s lame.”
“What, you think me and Johnathan are lame?” I said, trying to lighten his mood.
“No, but it’s not like Nancy is coming to watch over Mike. You know?” Jonathan just sighs. He looks at me from the mirror. I give him the same look. We both feel bad for the kid, but what are we gonna do? I don’t want anything to happen to Will. Sooner than later we are at Mike’s front yard. Will makes his way to get out till Johnathan stops him.
“Hey.” Jonathan says to Will.
“Yeah.” He answers.
“If I let you go by yourself, will you promise to stay in the neighborhood.” Johnathan suggested.
“Yeah.” Will’s mood brightened up. “Yeah-Yeah, totally.”
“And be back at Mike’s by 9:00.” Jonathan told him.
“9:30?” Will tried to persuade him. “9:00.” Jonathan said again.”Deal?” “Yeah deal.” Will rushes out of the car to go to his friends.
“Will.” Jonathan stops him from leaving the car to hand him the camera. “Don’t let any of your spazzy friends touch this.” Will laughed and took the camera to go over to his friends.
“You’re a good brother John.” I smiled at him. “I’ll see ya later.” As is tried to get out of the car but Jonathan stopped me.
“Wait where are you going?”
“I don't know, I’ll probably walk around the neighborhood.” I said. “I got a friend down that street.”
“You’re really not going to Tina’s party?” He was bewildered by this.
“Yeah John, I’m really not going.”
“But you love Tina’s parties.” He simply stated.
“Well I’m not feeling it this year.” I told him.
“Bullshit.” He called. “Why aren’t you going?”
“I just don’t want to go.” I’m sticking to this. “I have someone I can hang out with, plus I’ll be close to Will if something happens.” John and I just stare at each other for a minute.
“Okay.” He sighed. “But if Nancy gets upset that you’re not there, I’m not taking the heat.”
“Okay.” I smiled at him as I got out of the car. I walked my way over to where the boys were messing around as John left for Tina's party. “Okay turd-nuggets.” I begin.
“Really, what are you twelve?” Mike sassed.
“And are you a lollipop with that stick up your ass?” I sassed back to him, I start back up were I was interrupted. “I will be down that street with a friend, I will be back her at 8:45 to make sure you guys are fine. Okay?”
A chorus of “Okay’s” filled the air.
“Great! See you shit-heads later.” I walk off a familiar bird’s house. I walk up the stairs to the front door and give it a quick knock. I wait until the door opens.
“Amelia?” Robin says confused. “What are you doing here?”
“ I was hoping we could hang out for a bit.” I suggested. “Is that okay?”
“Oh! It’s completely fine!” She exclaimed, “I just thought you'd be at some party.”
“I didn’t feel like partying tonight, ya know.” I made my way into her house.
Tina’s Halloween Party: Friday 31, 1984
The party was in full swing. TP covering the lights of every room. Alcohol filling the mouths and noses of every teenager on the property. Music blasting as loud as physically possible. Someone throwing up in the front yard. The smell of weed coming from the master bedroom with each new blunt that was lit. The sound of a name being chanted in the backyard. A keg stand can be seen with an all too familiar blonde on top, like always.
“Billy! Billy! Billy! Billy! Billy! Billy! Billy! Billy! Billy! Billy!” Is chanting through the crowd as the new keg king came down from his stand. Spitting out that remaining beer from his mouth.
“That’s how you do it Hawkins! That’s how you do it!” Billy yelled. The statement “We have a new keg king, ladies and gentleman!” Being shouted along as Billy made his way into the house. His senses are filled with the atmosphere of the room. Till he sees a certain fallen king with his princess.
“Got ourselves a new keg king Harrington.” Tommy boasted.
“Yeah, eat it Harrington!”  Steve looked onto the, now new, keg king. Waiting for something to happen.
“What’s wrong Harrington? Your little dyke is not here to save you.” Tommy fake whined to him. As a way to taunt him. Tommy was about to keep laughing when he felt beer splash over his shoulder. “What the? What the hell Tina?!”
“Don’t call her that!” Tina shouted at him “If she was here she’d leave you crying.”, too drunk to keep dealing with him but still wanting to defend her friend. Nancy, now done with the testerone in front of her, quickly left to get something stronger to drink. Tommy is now pissed that he is covered in pungent drink.
“Go worry about yourself before you come at me guys.” Was all Steve said then walking away from the other teenage boys. Staring off at the brunette as he went after his girlfriend.
Billy turned himself around to face Tommy. “How were you talking about that got Tina mad?” He asked, genuinely curious about the lesbian that was not present tonight at the party of the semester.
“Oh. Just some lesbo that hangs with Harrington.” Tommy retorted, making it seem like she isn’t worth Billy’s time. “She can be a fucking asshole.”
Laughter filled the Buckley house this Halloween. The two girls conversed with one another for the past few hours. Being comfortable with one another knowing how the other truly is.
“Wait.” Robin kept laughing. “You got caught kissing Heather Halloway from her bedroom window then proceeded to fall from the second story?!”
“Yeaah, I’m not welcomed over at the Holloway house any more.” I giggled.
“Jeez, you’ve done more than I thought.” Robin smiled. “I’m still scared to change in the girls locker room.”
“Hey I’m the town lesbo.” I calmly giggled.
We fell into comfortable silence, “Hey, I wanna ask you something?” Robin asked.
“Sure.” I said, waiting for her question.
“What was California like?” I sat silent for a second. Due to my silence Robin thought she had hit a nerve. “If you don’t want to talk about it you don’t have to!”
“It’s okay, I just haven't talked with anyone about California.” I reassured her. “ It was like a constant sunset everyday…” I started.
“The weather was always perfect. And the beaches, oh my god the beaches. They were always clear. I lived in Santa Monica, very touristy but beautiful.” I was happy I could finally talk about my home again. “Ugh that sand was so soft under your toes when you walked. And there was this boardwalk that my mom took me and my brother to all that time-”
“You have a brother?” Robin asked curiously.I stopped. ‘No I messed up’.
“Yeah.” I frowned.
“Do- Do you miss him?” Robin asked.
“Everyday… but I hope he’s living the California dream as you guys would say.” I covered my truth with a lie. Not wanting her to know that my brother is here in Hawkins.
“Well from how to describe California, it sounds beautiful.” She reassured me.
I stared back at her with a smile. “Thanks Robin.” Silence filled the room again. Comfortable silence. I liked being around Robin, even with her nervous attitude, she was truly one of a kind. I was about to say something when I glanced at the clock of the wall to find it was close to the time I told the boys I would meet them.
“I gotta go.” I sighed disappointedly, “But I’d love to spend more time together.” I am hoping her answer is a yes.
“Yeah, I would love that! Well not like love-love, but do love being around you. Not in like a couple ways cause that would be weird since we’re just friends. Yaaa know.” She panicked.
“I know Rob.” I smirked, “I’ll see you at school later.”
As we said our goodbyes, I made my way down the street to see the boys. I saw the familiar ghostbuster’s suits from where I was. I could tell that they picked someone up along the way to go trick or treating with. ‘How cute, they made a new friend’. There were two stragglers in the back of the group, by the hair cuts I could tell that it was Mike and Will. I did a small jog over to them.
“Hey shit-heads!” I yelled to them, all their heads slowly turning to me as I made my way over to them. “Did you guys get anything good?”
“What Amy, why are you here?” Mike complained.
“Cause it is close to 9:00 and I want to check on you guys, is that so bad?”
“Yes.” He answered.
“Okay you know what, you're a little shit.” I said to him, “Besides who’s your new?... friend…”
Fuck.
It appears that we have the same looks on our faces. I stared at Max. She stared back at me.
“Shit…” I accidently said out loud.
“Do you know Max, Amy?” Lucas asked me.
I took a deep breath in. “No.” I said simply. “Listen, hit up a few more houses, I’ll come get you in a minute.”
“Where are you-” Dustin started.
“I need a minute guys!” I shouted at them, walking over to Mike’s front yard. Dammit, why. Why! The last person I want to see is with the kids I watch. Shit. This is bad. She can’t tell Niel. No, she can’t tell Billy. Would they even believe her if she told them? Shit, what do I do? I was taken out of my head when a very upset Mike walked by me. I was about to ask him if he was okay when I heard a commotion in the street. I look over to see Will being picked on by some older boys.
“Hey! What the hell are you doing!” I shout at them as I run over to them. “Get back here you fuck heads!” They ran away the minute I had my eyes set on them. Will was pushed to the ground, dropping his candy and camera. I kneel down to him, “Hey Will, are you okay?” I calmly asked him. “Did they hurt you?” I kept asking. Will was not responding what so ever. He just kept looking up at the sky, like something was looking at him. “Will?... Will!” He started to get up slowly, still not answering me. He started to move slowly. Till he ran straight to the back of Mike’s house. “Will!” I shouted after him, grabbing his candy and camera. The other apparently heard me since I heard multiple pairs of feet behind me. I made my way down some brick stairs to find Mike with Will hiding behind a wall.
“Will! I couldn’t find you.” Mike panicked with worry. “I heard Amy shouting then I couldn’t find you, are you hurt?” Due to Will’s heavy breathing I could tell what was up.
“Holy shit!” Dustin yelled.
I kneeled down to his level looking him in the eyes. “Did you have another episode Will?” He was still looking around like a scared cat. “I’m gonna get you home, okay buddy.”  Mike made his way to help Will up. When others tried to help he called them off. Blocking off the rest of us to take Will with him.
“Mike?” Dustin tried.
“Keep trick or treating, I’m bored anyways.” He started taking Will with him.
“What’s wrong with him?” Max asked, looking to us for an answer. The boys and I were silent, nothing to say.
“It’s something you don’t have to worry about.” I told her. “Dustin, Lucas go up there for a minute. I need to talk with her.”
“What! Why?” They both started to complain.
“I don’t want to hear it. Go!” I hardly ever get stern with them, but when I do I hope they know I mean what I say. They both, begrudgingly, made their way up the stairs. I turn myself back to Max.
“Max.”
“Amelia.”
“I go by Amy now…” Well this is awkward.
“What did you want?” She asked me, quit literally over me already.
“You can’t tell Billy I’m here or anyone.” I told her.
“What? Why not?” She was baffled. “Do you not know how much Billy misses you?”
“No Max I don’t, because I’ve been here for the past 4 years.” I stated. “Just please don’t tell him, and don’t tell anyone that we’re related. Got that.”
“Yes.”
“Good. As far as me and you go, we just met. Okay?”
“Okay.” She said a bit quietly. “Now let’s get you back up there with your friends so you can enjoy the rest of the night.” I take her back up to Dustin and Lucas. And since Johnathan isn’t here by 9:00, looks like I’m stuck here.
Jeez, the next month is gonna be a shit show. Max knows I’m here now. Johnathan is nowhere in sight. On top of that my twin brother is here too. Hopefully this can’t get any worse than it already is.
Man. I was so wrong about that…

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WRITE MORE ABOUT TEASING NEIGHBOUR ROBIN I BEG
...okay bet.
ALSO implied age gap, reader is 18+, Older!Neighbor!Robin au
--
tbh I feel like this AU of Robin has an ms, ma'am, or a mommy kink, I'm leaning towards ms though.
You found out about her little kink when you first saw her working on her garden and brought lemonade to her, "Want something cool to drink Ms. Buckley?" she tensed and looked at you almost dumbfounded, asked you to just call her Robin and sent you back inside your own house. You didn't miss the flush on her face when you called her it though.
Though now you used it for more...teasing purposes. You're dressed up in the cutest and shortest sundress you could find in your closet. Your parents were having a neighborhood barbeque so you had to look your best!
Spotting Robin in your backyard you pranced up to her, making sure her attention was brought to your hips and chest first. You greeted her with a simple "Hi Ms. Buckley!" and she damn near dropped her cup.
"Hey, doll..." She responded, too distracted by the way your dress hugged your body in all the right places. You smirked and leaned slightly into her personal space, with a whispered,
"Like my dress Ms. Buckley? I wore it just for you."
She actually dropped her drink that time.
