what drawing program do you use? Also what brushed do you use?

Clip Studio, and I use a couple different brushes!!

I use the default pencil tool for the "fuzzy" lineart I do, I call that sketching cuz it uses a pencil tool and looks like pencil drawings lol

for the harder lineart that looks kinda pixelated I use ぺんペン, it's a free downloadable brush on the clip store! I treat it like a pen, so if my other brush is sketching, I use this for inking and stuff that I want to look drawn by pen/with harder edges :]

for shading and texturing I use the tone scraping airbrush, it's a default tool in clip like the pencil!

The brushes I use mostly are:

Soft Pencil (Rough) (for line art, I duplicate the layer to make it thicker)

Acrylic (mostly for colors and sometimes line art)

Fill (vector art, or filling in large areas to color then clipping a layer onto that [so all the pixels are colored in])

Bread Deer (it's a bitmapped watercolor, for both painting and lines)

-

Soft Fluffy Watercolor (mostly for colors paired w the soft pencil)

-

Round Brush and Flat Brush (rarely line art, mostly colors)

-

Paint 1 (nice texture)

i’m gonna save all of you from the “just use krita” people (who are annoying as fuck)

-the brush in krita feels really fucking weird

-the color adjustments in krita don’t work at all like the ones in photoshop. i tried to convert something to cmyk and all the shading turned white

-if you want something to have a clipping mask you have to put them in a folder together first (which is incredibly stupid)

i saw people recommending it as a sai alternative but like. it sucks. it’s just free. that’s the good aspect. it’s free and has a lot of tools for a free program. i’m sure you could get used to its…quirks…but im sick of people who use krita acting like using any other art program is stupid or a waste of time.

Hi, all! I found a free-to-use drawing program on itch.io called Wigglypaint (https://internet-janitor.itch.io/wigglypaint), which is similar to Kid Pix and Shake Art. This program is fun to use because you can also export your drawings as GIFs!

For fun, I decided to use this program to draw a shark. (if anyone is wondering what it's saying: it's saying "I respect you!".)
