I have this one intense, smaller-scale action thriller with a pretty epic love story built-in and just hear me out with this dream casting…

So, what's your voice headcanons for the older sonic characters, and aurora?
I picture many of the Sonic cast as young adults now anyway, so for some of them I'd just keep previous voice actors whose performances I've enjoyed, except maybe a couple of dream casting scenarios.
Aurora - Mandy Moore
Sonic - Jason Griffith. Have you heard him do his bits as Sonic lately? He does a more aged-up Sonic and I love it. Hell, I even just love Jason's regular speaking voice, I think it's perfect for an older Sonic even that way.
Amy - If you know me, you know Amy's gotta be Alison Brie~! 😍
Tall!Tails - This might change, but I currently picture Neil Patrick Harris. He's equally good at playing fumbly, nervous characters as he is at playing confident, smartass roles and I think that's the right balance for older Tails in my AU.
Knuckles - Idris Elba
Rouge - Kathleen Delaney (Best Rouge ever imo)
Shadow - This one is the most difficult because it's hard to nail down the voice I hear in my mind as him to one person haha. I like a variety of options for Shadow, ranging from canon voices like Ian Hanlin or Keanu Reeves, plus I like the idea of several other voice actors ranging from the English voice actor for Sylus from Love and Deepspace, or Jensen Ackles or Billy Burke (you can hear both of them as Batman and Commissioner Gordon in this clip), or Steve Blum or even Markiplier! The list goes on and on! I don't know if I have found the perfect voice that lines up with what I hear in my head for Shadow. Just picture it velvety and sexy~!

Amy Yasbeck and John Ritter would have made an amazing Miss Holloway and Duke if the Hatchetfield series had been made in the 80s, but they also would have made an amazing Girl Jeri and Boy Jerry.

I think we need a remake of I Married A Witch (which became the basis for the movie Bewitched) starring Nicola and Luke

I feel like Anna Kendrick would be the perfect voice actor for Amy Rose in a live action-CGI Sonic the Hedgehog film adaptation/sequel.

Ok! I think I have finally figured out the best casting for A Muppet Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Theseus- Danny Trejo
Hippolyta- Yolanda the Rat
Philostrate- Sam the Eagle
Egeus- Swedish Chef
Hermia- Claudia Jessie
Lysander- Gonzo
Demetrius- Kermit the Frog
Helena- Miss Piggy
Other members of Theseus’s court- Statler and Waldorf
Peter Quince- Walter
Nick Bottom- Fozzie Bear
Francis Flute- Beaker
Snug- Brett Goldstein
Snout- Dr. Bunsen Honeydew
Robin Starveling- Pepe the King Prawn
Oberon- Uncle Deadly
Titania- Renee Elise Goldsberry
Puck- Ncuti Gatwa
Peaseblossom- Janice
Cobweb- Animal
Moth- Floyd Pepper
Mustardseed- Dr. Teeth
Other fairies- Zoot, Lips
Changeling child- Gloria Estefan the penguin
To explain some of my general thought processes: I tried to balance the actual Muppet performers so there weren’t like two of Eric Jacobson’s characters having to interact by themselves for a while. That’s why Fozzie is Bottom and Gonzo is Lysander. Larger group scenes were fine. For humans, I wanted each of the three groups to have at least one human. The humans I picked have either worked with the Muppets before (Danny Trejo), have expressed interest in performing with the Muppets (Brett Goldstein), or just have Big Muppet Energy (Renee Elise Goldsberry). If I felt they could handle Shakespearean language, it was a plus.
I was struggling with Oberon, but then I thought of Uncle Deadly saying “Ill met by moonlight, proud Titania” and I knew that’s where he had to be. Also, his appearance is the most fairy-like. I was also struggling with Hippolyta. Should she be a human and Theseus be a Muppet? But the idea of giant Danny Trejo marrying tiny and sassy Yolanda was just so funny to me. She deserves a larger role anyway.

The Live-Action VLD Dreamcast (that nobody asked for)
(Yes, I know about the live-action Voltron movie Amazon has in the works, and I am stubbornly refusing to be a part of the reality where that happens. I am making my own live-action Voltron in my head, this is the cast for that version.)
Tom Hiddleston as Coran
Yasmin Finney as Allura
Daniel Dae Kim as Shiro
Alex Tarrant as Hunk
Charlie Bushnell as Keith
Kit Young as Lance
Mackenyu Arata as Lotor
Jason Momoa as Zarkon
Indira Varma as Hagar/Honerva
(unfortunately I don't have ideas for Pidge and her family yet.)

Has there ever been a more beautiful man than Alain Delon in the 60s?
Currently on a marathon and except for Rocco and His Brothers which was a little too melodramatic for my taste—PTSD from growing up with telenovelas—I feel like I’ve stumbled upon a motherload of cinematic gems. When they say “they don’t make movies like these anymore” this is what they mean…
Purple Noon is the first film adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s The Talented Mr. Ripley. Gotta suspend your disbelief that Delon would (literally) kill to be someone else during that era, but it’s still a gripping watch. From the fashion to the cinematography, a visual feast as well.
I only knew that Le Samouraï was a highly-rated classic and that it was a crime thriller… I wasn’t aware of its legacy. As the story unfolded though, it dawned on me: “Ahhh this is the film all THOSE other movies want to be.” David Fincher’s The Killer was foremost on my mind. And Delon’s Jef Costello, to this day, lives on in many characters, particularly in portrayals of antiheros.
There WAS a reason La Piscine reminded me so much of Luca Guadanino’s A Bigger Splash… it’s the source material. I’d bet good money the storyline in the second season of HBO’s White Lotus (the one with Aubrey Plaza, Will Sharpe, Meghann Fahy, and Theo James) also took inspiration from this. What a film though. Although I could anticipate where it was going, it still held me in rapt suspense. The lush cinematography, the tight script, the beautiful quartet spiraling into pyschological warfare… I loved every gnarly sexy minute of it.

Going slightly off-topic, if they ever make a biopic of this man's life, I can totally see Daniel Brühl playing him.
Hear me out: he has a similar mix of manly and boyish features (dude could probably play the 25-year-old version if he shaved off his beard); he's not French but he can speak the language well and also has that European charm and elegance going for him; he has a way of capturing a person's essence even though he doesn't resemble them much in real life (e.g. Niki Lauda in Rush and Karl Lagerfeld in Becoming Karl Lagerfeld); and he's a phenomenal and dedicated actor known for his portrayal of morally ambiguous characters, which, from what I've gathered, Delon was.
That he was a massive fan growing up probably helps, too. I wouldn't be surprised if he's seen all of his movies. This was from decades ago, but it's the most Delon-esque photo of Brühl's I could find...

Okay, okay! What are your top choices for who should voice Amy in the 4th movie?
Also, favorite moment from the movie you never expected.
1 - Alison Brie
2 - Alison Brie
3 - ALISON BRIE
She's the only person I want voicing Amy haha. I keep hoping the more I say it, the more likely it is to come true. I'm manifesting it!
I'm working on a little animation pairing Alison Brie lines with Amy. When you see it, you'll get it 😏 You'll all understand my vision, mwuahahahaha.
Favorite moment from Sonic 3 below the cut:
Super Sonic VERSUS Super Shadow!!!!! Like I said in my review, I figured Super Shadow was going to show up but never in my wildest dreams did I think the two of them were going to fight in their super forms! That was BREATHTAKING!
