- Frank was at first super embarrassed and shy about his regression to Eddie, so he made a point in hiding it

- That was until Eddie accidentally found him regressed real small, and he was forced to confess

- Ofc Eddie was supportive albeit confused, and is more than happy to care for Frank when he’s little

- Eddie calls his husband “his lil smartie”, it makes Frank happy every time

- Frank also has really limited gear for when he goes small, so Eddie makes a point to buy him a ton of stuff to make him feel safe!!

- Most of the day is just spent with Eddie carrying or cuddling a swaddled up Frank in his lap, it’s so cute

- Frank rarely calls Eddie any nicknames when he’s small, but Eddie likes to call himself “papa Eddie”, so Frank has warmed up to that

- Eddie and Julie like to duo babysit Frank when they’re both in the house

- If Eddie accidentally baby talks Frank, he’ll go into headspace immediately

- He won’t show it unless he’s comfortable enough tho, so don’t expect him to automatically go small

Why do you write Steddie?

Honestly, when I first started getting obsessed with Steddie, I wanted to read a very specific AU. I loved the plotline of season 4 but I was literally distraught by Eddie dying LOL! And I was like he doesn't have to be dead in an AU. He can live happily in an AU with Steve 😍😍😍

What’s your favorite trope to READ?

I love enemies to lovers. It is just such an amazing journey to see two characters go from one extreme to the other. To go from completely loathing someone to 'I'll kill for you.' The journey can be comedic but also humbling as the characters have to be able to say 'maybe I was wrong about you.'

What’s your favorite trope to WRITE?

I love, love, love soul-mate AUs. Particularly ones where they know it the moment they see each other. It just makes me feel so warm and fuzzy when someone goes, "Yes, this is the one. I don't need to look any further this idiot is mine and I'll love him and wrap him up in a blanket and feed him."

What’s your favorite Steddie fic?

Oh Goddess there are so many. Honestly the fic that I am constantly astounded by and just re-read all the time is Hic Sunt Dracones by Just-My-Latest-Hyperfixation. I am just so floored by the level of passion and imagery and masterful storytelling.

Is there a trope you’re excited to explore in a future work but haven’t yet?

I love reading a slow burn Enemies to Lovers but I feel I'm too impatient to write it. I'll be like chapter 1 going good, they hate each other and….boom chapter 2 they're in love and married. So, I really want to challenge myself to be patient and let the plot flow nice and slow.

What is your writing process like?

So, it's extremely chaotic but I love it. A lot of times I won’t necessarily have a story or plotline at first, but I will just have a scene in my mind. So I will write that scene and then reverse engineer the story to that scene and that's how I create the plot. For example in Nothing Sweeter Then My Baby, it was the scene where Eddie finds Steve at the bakery and he knows that Steve is his soulmate, but Steve is denying it and is so scared to be discovered. So, I had to be like ok why is Steve hiding? Why is he running? Why is Eddie so desperately looking?

Do you have any writing quirks?

Yes, when I start a story it is so chaotic. Cause I never ever start at the beginning. I will write like two scenes that are not in any shape related, then a single line will pop in my head and I'll write that but I won't finish it and I'll just start writing another one and next thing I know I have 5k of gibberish.

Do you prefer posting when you’ve finished writing or on a schedule?

When I finish…or when I'm like ok I need to post people are starting I'm dead lol!

Which fic are you most proud of?

Honestly, not to sound pretentious but all of them. There was a time when I looked at a blank page and felt nothing but hopelessness that I could ever fill it, much less be able to write 10,000 words in one sitting. As weird as it sounds writing Steddie has given me the hope, the skills, and the drive to become a published writer someday

How did you get the idea for Hello My Old Heart?

So, I was reading Bad Beat by LexiRoseWrites and I just kept getting this idea about Eddie being so mad at Steve at the end, he just picked up and left town. And poor Steve is pregnant and alone. Lexi gave me her blessing to write it and I tagged her work as inspiration at the bottom.

When writing Hello My Old Heart, what was something you didn’t expect?

I didn't expect the plot to take me where it did. I had planned it just to be a heartfelt, angsty story but through workshopping some ideas I came up with the Brenner/pills plotline.

What inspired Nothing Sweeter Than My Baby?

I always loved the idea of soul-mate identifying marks and how that would affect real life. So, I thought it would be really cool to combine the idea with royalty core and draw out the dangers one might experience being the soul-mate of a very important and powerful person.

What was your favorite part to write from Finding Krampus?

The parts where Eddie makes Steve blush. I love that little cat and mouse games where they are both attracted to each other but are scared to make a real move so they just flirt and blush and giggle. I find it so sweet and exhilarating.

How do/did you feel writing A Rage That Never Wavers?

When I started, I was going through a very difficult time. When I'm overwhelmed or just so fucking done with everything and the people around me, I just want to be alone and self isolate. I felt like no matter what I said, or did or even wanted, everyone was attacking me. So, I came up with a scene of Steve alone in a cabin in the woods and he was just scared of everyone including Eddie. And so I reversed engineered, what if there was a magical reason this was happening and therefore a magical cure. Don't we all want that when we have anxiety and the world is pressing your chest and getting air feels like a battle. I am doing much, much better now and I am very determined to finish the story before Halloween.

What was the most difficult part of writing Chained Up Fire?

Honestly, it was probably one of the easiest stories to write. It just flowed out of me. Full disclosure I'm having trouble picking it up because I feel like it's original enough to publish, so who knows?

Do you have a favorite scene and/or line from any of your fics?

For Nothing Sweeter Then My Baby: "Eddie’s heart was slow, proud, heavy and belonging to Steve. And by everything that was holy and unholy in this world, he would deliver it to Steve at his feet."

Do you have any upcoming projects or fics you’d like to share/promote?

Yes, when I get all my WIPs done, I am going to start on a vampire/ABO/royaltycore fic that I'm too excited about.

Outside of these questions, Is there anything YOU would like to add?

No, just that it seems silly but writing Steddie has legit changed my life and gave me hope again that I could be a professional writer. And I love the supportive community so much and I really, really hope that it stays strong even past the series finally.

Oh my god you've given me permission to just go off endlessly on Johnnie, you're a gem.

For the folks reading this who don't already know him, Johnnie Redmayne is an absolute joy. Kid brother to the two current (well, 1967 current) leaders of the World Enders gang, Johnnie is a thrillseeker, a hedonist, the type to leap before he looks, to live with zero regrets, and most of all, he just wants to have fun. There are a lot of implied but not explicit-in-text reasons for this that have to do with the World Enders being centered primarily in East LA, primarily nonwhite and/or of lower economic class, mostly young rebels during an era of counterculture but instead of the white hippie flower child route they're out there causing violence and mayhem and just loving every minute of it.

Anyway, Johnnie is also dead, murdered essentially in a drug dispute, though that's kind of underselling it but I won't rewrite the whole premise of Vide Noir here. But because this is the time and space and cosmic horror fuckery fantasy drug made from the ashes of dying stars and the void between time and space and reality or whatever, he's presumably confronted with some REALLY HORRIFIC things as his mind is slingshotted out into the void where the dead don't so much float as drown as they're fully overwhelmed with whatever goes on out there. And Johnnie? Well - who the heck does this. He's like "uhhh, no thanks! Nope, I hate this, and I'm not going peacefully, death sucks and is boring at best and really really fucked up at worst, so I'mma take a rain check and go back to where all the fun is. Seeya." And now he's a ghost, out making fun of Buck Vernon on midnight desert highways and probably causing a lot of problems for other people because that's way more fun than the alternative.

He's a character who has the potential to be saddled with so much darkness and misery, so much trauma, and I'm sure it's all in there but instead he's not going to dwell on it or make it his personality because that sucks man. He's taken the World Ender ethos to a new level - live your life how you want, die if it kills you who cares, and skipped past the dying normally part right back to the existing for the sake of finding joy in the chaos and destruction and the booze and the ladies and the not being crushed under the heel of cops and an oppressive society but instead sticking it right back to them.

Anyway this kid is hilarious and wonderful and I sure hope he surfaces in the next album and also Eddie Sandstrom is an absolute delight and he better come back to reprise his role even if he doesn't really look 18 anymore I don't really care.

🎥 do you have any favorite scenes from your hyperfixation?

Buddy, it's the Dead Man's Hand scene in the movie, how could it not be. Hey Ben feel free to remake this all you like forever, you're doing great.

Also Until the Night Turns if that counts as a scene, because it does in the movie that plays in my head. Massively underrated song by the fandom, this does so much heavy lifting with the characterization and setting and people need to pay it more attention.

💎 are there any fun facts or trivia that you would like to share?

More! fun! facts! yes let's see. Oh, I think a fun one that's easy to miss is that we actually have an image of Buck Vernon's driver's license and the contents of his wallet. So now you can all know his birth date, height, eye color, etc plus the fact that he keeps SO MANY PHOTOS OF LEE with him. I love this kind of stuff. It's a movie prop that doesn't actually surface in the movie in a viewable form other than I think one of the photos, which is why this isn't on the wiki as not being in the movie itself makes it sort of borderline canon, but it's on the prop designer's website as an example of her work.

Hic sunt dracones Rated E | 99,705 words The updates for this fic couldn't come fast enough (and they came fast and so did Steve) and it's what got me hooked on hype. This is a must read. I couldn't possibly pick a favorite line for this one, but I will say that the way Steve is written in this fic in particular is some of the best character writing this fandom can and will ever see. I stand by that.

Possession Rated E | wip It's demon Eddie. What else do I need to say. What else could be said. He's a demon. Steve's parents made a deal with him before he was born and he came to collect on it and aren't we so happy that he did! Since this is a WIP, my favorite sentence could change, but for now, it's: “I did not kidnap you,” Eddie snaps, voice sharp and clipped with barely contained fury, and his eyes flash like the lighting in the red sky outside. The shadows thicken around him again, a liquid black mass. “I made a contract. I claimed what’s mine by right. You, Steve Harrington, are mine.” 

Just add water Rated E | wip Alternate title for this, lovingly given by me, is the mer-dude fic. Which is relevant and funny if you read it. Eddie and I share a brain on this. Favorite line (subject to change when the last chapter comes out): "Apologies, I'm not familiar with the terminology," he says. "You're evidently a … mer-dude? No! Nonono, wait, I got it. A mer-mate, right?"

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Currently I write primarily Stranger Things with the occasion OFMD but I have written for Marvel (Stucky, Sambucky, Danbeau, gen), The Old Guard, and The Walking Dead. I tend to hyperfixate on a ship/fandom for a few years and then mostly move on when for whatever reason I no longer have interest.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? Steddie completely overtook all my top fics, which is pretty wild. The top five are: The Prettiest Boy in Hawkins, Indiana Anywhere, Anytime Critical Hit It's Not a Big Deal I'd Burn the Castle for You

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Sometimes. I very much like to interact with fandom and fandom people. That's kind of the whole point. But I'm ultimately a person with a lot going on and treating comments like they're transactional (aka always owed a response) makes responding to comments feel like a job which is exhausting for me personally.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I mean, as much as I generally like a hopeful ending, there's a fair few. I mean, I was in The Walking Dead fandom where anyone can die so... lol But a recentish one I can remember is one I don't talk about much or promote really bc I don't like to think about it all that often. It's just Steve sneaking back into the Upside Down to bury Eddie. Nothing else, just closure. I wrote it when I was processing some feelings about losing my grandma's cat in a pretty traumatic way. I bottle fed him as a baby and always considered him kind of my cat too. Because of how and when it all happened, I had to take charge and bury him all alone, so I sort of used Steve to get some of it out.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Lol I tend to do Happy Endings so... God, hard to pick. I like the way I'd Burn the Castle for You ends because it's happy but it feels really grounded at the same time which I think makes it happier because it feels like they could actually have it. But when I think of the happiest, I might have to go back to Stucky and We didn't need this to love each other, but I'm glad we get to do it anyway which is a fic where Steve and Bucky never went to war, find a way to live a whole life together despite how hard it was to do so, and then get married when it's finally legal in NY. (Yes, I will keep using the characters getting married when it's finally legal trope because 1. I'm actually a sap, and 2. It's a good reminder that it's recent and hard-won.)

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Sometimes, not in a while

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Well. Hahahhahaha It can be anything from tender lovemaking to hardcore to hardcore with monsters and any mix or combo of those.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Crossovers in the sense of characters from different fandoms interacting? Not in a very long time, I don't think?

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Stolen where they attempt to pass it off as theirs, I don't think so. I have, however, had quite a few rude little fuckers repost it on Wattpad lol

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! A few of my Stucky fics were translated into Russian.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No because I'm terrible at asking for people to work on stuff with me lol I am trying to get better at not thinking I'm annoying everyone all the time and actually talk about collabs and things. @sparklyslug and I are maybe going to do something if we can stop signing up for bangs lmao

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

I can't answer this because the answer is always going to change based on whatever I'm into at the time lol

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I can't point to any specific one because I genuinely don't know which ones I will and won't finish. BUT I do know there's never any conceivable way I'll finish all of my WIPs because just for Stranger Things, I have like 59. Maybe I'll say the Paramedic fic because I sort of lost the will to work on it after I took it down. It didn't really feel like there was any interest.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue. And fucknasty porn if we're being honest.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? I sometimes feel like I really struggle writing any interpersonal relationships because I'm pretty bad at them irl. I know ADHD bleeds into my work and in every single character I write even if they don't intentionally have ADHD traits because I'll never ever actually understand the world from any other perspective. I also have to resist overexplaining shit even in my writing. I'm also bad at actually, you know, starting the task of writing sometimes lmaooo Plus just, like, me and my insecurities. Which is more of a personal weakness but it def affects how I interact with some of my own work/responses to it sometimes. Also see above and hate asking for "help" and being a "bother" and the fact that only like a few of my stories are beta'd lol

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I don't do it very often, esp in Steddie. But I've done it in the past (I mean, Bucky Barnes, so...) It's like anything else in writing. You do it when you have a reason to do it and you consider the why of it and how different readers might interact with it and how you WANT them to interact with it.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

MCR and The Used bandfic back on motherfucking Quizilla

20. Favorite fic you’ve written? Not to flex with the fact that I have 131 works on ao3 and that I've been writing on there for over 10 years, but there are so many things I love and love still--or even things I don't love still and would do a completely different way but love the memory of, or even just the accomplishment represented by that thing--that it'd be impossible to pick just one. But I'll talk about a few that come to mind - Fave Steddie is still Cut and Changed and Rearranged and my baby bisexual Steve learning he is loved

I love the work and historical research I put into The Second Labor, my alt version of the first Captain America movie where Steve joins the war effort in a different way.

And I also love my Cyberpunk Stucky, Empires Fall, but Not Us and think of it fondly.

I have written exactly one chapter of one crossover, which is a modern Stardust AU where Eddie is Tristan, Steve is the star, and 1980s Indiana is on the non-magical side of the wall. Also Eddie was trying to find the star so he could grab a chunk of it and barter it for a new electric guitar lmao. I really loved the premise I came up with and thought the first chapter was great; unfortunately the fic is fuckin cursed and will never be finished (by me. if anyone wants to take a swing at the story where I left it off feel free!)

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I started working on this goofy little crack fic forever ago where Steve was a member of the snooty grandmas-only Loch Nora Gardening Club, and he was all stressed out because the ladies had beef with the neighboring town's club and had somehow put Steve in charge of operation "publicly humiliate them by throwing a better annual fundraising party"

and then Eddie, being the impulsive horny dumbass that he is, was jokingly like "hey, you could come to my garden party some time" and Steve's like "you're in a gardening club?" "yeah, technically! sure!"

then Eddie drives him to Indy and pulls them up to this shady little sex club called The Pleasure Garden and Steve gets gently bullied by a drag queen lmaooo

16. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue dialogue dialogue. Also I think in weird synesthesia (some words taste bad, some memories smell like cinnamon, ya know what I mean) so I feel like my imagery toward the fun and funky side

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

All the silly important shit that goes around the dialogue. And writing a seamless big group scene - more than four people in a conversation and the pacing gets so ssx tricky

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Mmmm. I mean, I tend to avoid it unless the fic/character actually requires it. Like I did a Robin POV fic where Robin would think certain curse words in different languages because it seemed fitting for the girl who's fluent in four languages, ya know? Ooh, I do also love a good "character royally botches what they're trying to say" moment so foreign language phrases are fun for that

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

I'm really just unreasonably proud of myself for writing almost 30,000 words of continuous story in 30 days. I've been trying to do that for years and never even come close

SO glad you asked, buddy! As usual, I have so much to say lol.

when I started shipping it if I did: The forest scene of course!!! It changed lives. Her quick death was a punch to the gut though and it took until I finished Volume 1 and was on Tumblr looking through tags that I started thinking more deeply about them. I joined a discord server a few weeks later and the hyperfixation was in full effect. 

my thoughts: They’re soulmates and that’s that.

what makes me happy about them: I don't know how to word this in the way I want to, cause I don't want it to be a "they complete each other" thing BUT they each have these personality traits and skills that the other lacks and it's just so complementary of them, you know? She's quiet and reserved and sad but stubbornly hopeful and optimistic about people, while Eddie is boisterous and feeds off attention and is cynical about the world yet softened so immediately in Chrissy's presence. They give each other things they need but could never find before they found each other. 

what makes me sad about them: They're canonically dead. Eddie could never save her in the way he wished he could. They never got to do ketamine together and kiss a lil.

things done in fanfic that annoys me: I'm always nervous to answer questions like this, but here is one of my big secrets: I hate when Eddie calls Chrissy Chris. I have such a firm headcanon that Eddie knew it's what Jason called her, and he specifically avoided it because of that. His reasons are twofold: cause he connects the nickname with the way Chrissy always shrunk herself in Jason's presence, and cause of some inner neanderthal instinct that makes him wanna avoid anything to do with the love of his life's ex. It's inevitable that the first time he calls her that in any fic, in my head, I hear it in Jason's voice from the time he said in on the show and it always takes me out of the fic. It's not something that will make me stop reading at all, but it's definitely a mental block where I actually have to work to imagine it the way it's intended.

things I look for in fanfic: 

Fastburn! I can do slowburn of course, but my idea of Hellcheer is that they fall so fast and so deep that it's what makes the most sense. 

Chrissy developing strong female friendships in the background is super important to me.

In future fics, Eddie being super content and fulfilled having a normal non-rock star life in my absolute jam.

Super emotionally charged character-driven sex.

who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: No one else. I can play around with Chrissy having a few other relationships with Kali, Eden or Robin, and Eddie having a lil thing with Jonathan when they were younger, but I don’t believe either of them could or would ever love anyone like they do each other, and they would never be fulfilled in a relationship with anyone else.

my happily ever after for them: There are so many potential happily ever afters for them! Honestly, anything that involves Chrissy healing and finding herself, Eddie making peace with the chip on his shoulder and finding a way to feel like he's enough just as he is, and them having many years to know and love each other.

who is the big spoon/little spoon: Just due to their literal bodies, Chrissy is usually the little spoon, but she loves switching it up and holding him in her lap. It comforts them both.

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: Playing music & writing songs together after Chrissy has learned to play guitar. Talking in bed when they're both falling asleep but they've been too busy to connect very much lately so they're both trying hard to stay awake and give themselves a moment together. Eddie loves cooking for Chrissy (she likes giving him kisses while he's doing it). Making up outrageous life stories about strangers they see in public. Chrissy loves pranking Eddie cause he never sees it coming. I know this was supposed to be just 1 favorite activity but they love doing ALL the things together, ok????

I legally cannot answer this.

#1. Bi-Han, aka Sub-Zero/Noob Saibot. He was bae to me from before I could even comprehend how to play video games.

#2. Kane. (I'm not sure if this counts? bc he's technically a wrestler) but he's a wrestler from an era where kayfabe was a thing that existed and wrestlers did their best to maintain it.

#3. Jadeite from Sailor Moon. I can't really explain why? Maybe it's bc he's usually ignored by fandom and when he is acknowledged, he's grossly mischaracterized and unjustly hated. I will love him more than any one could ever hate him.

#4. Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Riker literally gave up the powers of the Q just bc Picard disapproved. Can you imagine?? His hypothetical opinion matters more to me than most irl people lmao.

#5. Free Space. Idk, I just have too many favs, so anyone could be in this place, and tbh, barring Bi-Han, any one of the characters above could move around to make room for whoever the current hyperfixation of the season is. I want to say my childhood icon: Sailor Moon herself. And if anything, she should even be higher on the list. But like I said in many previous asks: I go through phases. Piccolo could be here. Batman could be here. Eddie Brock/Venom could be here. At the moment, it's probably Mickey Altieri/Ghostface.

If I could live in any fictional world.....I don't know fr. I could stick with my answer from before, which was MK, but aside from stalking Bi-Han and probably getting killed for it, idk what else I'd really do there lol. If I'm gonna live in a fantasy world, I'd want some epic super powers to go along with it. So my final answer is whatever universe would give me something really cool I could do to show off.

My mind is a minefield right now, so I’ve been hyperfixating on skincare as of late (as I usually do when life gets tough). As a result, I’ve been thinking about what some of current comfort characters’ skincare routines would be (or, more accurately, if they would even have a routine). Since it’s been a while since I’ve written anything substantial, I decided to write down some of the thoughts I’ve been having about their potential skincare routines. So… Enjoy! Hopefully this isn’t too niche; I know not everyone is as obsessed with skincare as I am.

Eddie Munson doesn’t have a skincare routine…

Or, at least, he didn’t have one back when he was younger.

From the ages of twelve to about forty, Eddie’s skincare routine was nonexistent. He hardly ever washed his face and, when he did, it was just with the same bar of Irish Spring that he used for his body. He also hardly ever used lotion, or, rather, he hardly ever used it for its intended purpose (if you catch my drift). Eddie did, however, frequently use sunscreen, but only during the summer months, only because he absolutely hated getting sunburns, and only the shitty kind that’s practically always on sale at the drugstore (I’m looking at you Banana Boat). Also, he only started using sunscreen in his twenties because, prior to that, the only thing that was really available was “sun tan lotion,” which hardly provided any protection at all. In fact, the best form of skincare he did at that time was occasionally putting vaseline on his lips during the winter months. Safe to say, he took horrible care of his skin during his youth.

Now that he’s older, though, he definitely has a skincare routine. Whether he was introduced to the wonders of skincare by his kid(s), you, the powers of the internet, or some combination of those three is up for debate. Point is, he’s now in the know about skincare and, as a result, has even developed a routine of his own. It’s a basic four-step routine, nothing too fancy - just a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, toner, and sunscreen - but Eddie doesn’t feel right leaving the house without having gone through every step of it.

He even has a nighttime skincare routine. Granted, it’s just his daytime routine sans SPF, but he still likes to think that it counts. His nighttime routine once also included an anti-aging/anti-wrinkle cream, but then, one day, you told him about how much you adore the wrinkles he already has (just some creases in his forehead, some crows feet, and some smile lines) and, now, he doesn’t mind the idea of getting new ones quite so much anymore.

Ralph Penbury has a very elaborate skincare routine, one that even rivals that of his sister. Firstly, he starts off his morning by simply washing his face, typically with a gentle cleansing cream. He then moves onto shaving using his favorite, hand-whipped sandalwood shaving foam and silver-plated, double-edged razor. Because he’s rich and also incredibly meticulous, Ralph also uses a straight razor specifically for shaving his neck. Once he’s finished shaving, he applies some sandalwood-scented aftershave balm to help keep his skin moisturized. He then follows this by strategically massaging his face for about ten minutes to help liven up his complexion, which is a trick he learned from his mother’s maid. Next, Ralph applies his favorite skin tonic, one which has witch hazel in it to keep any breakouts at bay. After that, he pats some Special Astringent into his skin to firm it up, which he then follows with the Elizabeth Arden Muscle Oil that he stole from his mother. Next, Ralph applies his favorite moisturizer, his favorite lip salve, and some sun protection; his preferred product is the Novena Sunproof Créme from Helena Rubenstein. Then he applies a thin sheen of powder to even out his skin tone and prevent any unwanted shine. He also applies some deodorizing talcum powder from Yardley to his body. Finally, Ralph finishes his morning routine by dabbing on a Penhaligon’s eau de toilette, likely one scented with bergamot or something woody.

Of course, that’s only for his morning routine.

For his afternoon routine (yes, he has an afternoon routine), re-cleanses his skin by applying his cleansing cream to a cotton pad, which he has dampened with his favorite tonic, and swiping it gently across his skin. He then reapplies his favorite moisturizer and some more Muscle Oil to his face before settling in for his daily afternoon nap. Exactly thirty minutes later he re-emerges from his bed to go pat some more of his tonic into his skin before reapplying his sun protection and his lip salve, and, then, re-powdering his face.

Importantly, he also uses a lavender-scented, coconut oil-based hand cream throughout the day, usually applying it after he washes his hands.

Lastly, his night routine is a bit more simplistic. Ralph begins his nighttime routine by taking a warm bath, during which he washes his body with his favorite bar of moisturizing, lavender-scented soap from Yardley. Then he moisturizes from head to toe with a lavender-scented moisturizer, something he also stole from his mother, before applying his After Shower Powder. Then, he begins to pay particular attention to his face once more by cleansing his skin with his cleansing cream, just as he did during his previous routines. He then follows this by patting some skin tonic and Special Astringent into his skin much like he did during his morning routine. Ralph then applies some more anti-wrinkle cream, lip salve, and moisturizer, putting a bit more than necessary so it’ll soak in overnight. To cap it all off, if his skin has been particularly dry lately, he then applies some of the Orange Skin Food from Elizabeth Arden to help keep his skin well-hydrated while he sleeps.

I love Ralph Penbury with my whole heart, but boy is he extra in just about everything he does. Honestly, that kind of makes me love him more.

Billy Knight’s skincare routine sort of fluctuates with his mental state. When he’s in a more depressive state, skincare becomes entirely irrelevant. However, when he’s in a more manic state, skincare can sometimes become a compulsion, though it typically just becomes irrelevant much like it is during his depressive states. When his moods are more stable, though, he does pretty well at keeping up with a decent routine. Some mornings he’ll use a basic cleanser and follow it up with one of those lotions that’s meant for your face and body, though he really only uses it on his face. Typically, though, he just uses the cleanser in the shower and applies the lotion once he gets out, mostly because he doesn’t like how water always gets everywhere when he washes his face in the sink. Billy also sometimes puts vaseline on his lips before bed, but usually only in the winter when they’re more prone to getting dry and cracked. All three products were acquired at random from the nearest pharmacy.

Tom Grant’s skincare routine is truly tragic. To start, he washes his face in the shower every morning with the same bar of soap he uses for the rest of his body. Coincidentally, that’s also where his skincare routine usually ends. The man almost never puts lotion on and, when he does, he only applies it to driest spots on his body and nowhere else. Tom’s not totally awful when it comes to skincare, though. He does, at least, wear sunscreen, but only during the summer when he knows he’ll be outside for a while, and he reapplies it very infrequently. He’ll also do a face mask with you if you offer him one. But that’s about the full extent of skincare for him.

Okay, Slice n Dice, I'm gonna rant, enjoy :3 (good luck)

When I first started reading WTE I was in an, "I'm not too big a fan of modern aus" mindset, and decided not to read it when I first saw it (Ford's top ten biggest mistakes).

One day, I was sitting on the floor, my third cup of iced coffee in my hand and Markiplier's rdr2 playthrough on my laptop and I thought to myself, "I wonder what WTEs about.." So I went back to good ol' ao3 and took a deeper look, aka read the first few chapters, oh my god did I regret not reading it sooner. I have a hard time immersing myself in stories because I get distracted so easily, but I was so immersed in the entire thing, that I could finally see in my tiny brain what was happening and it made me love the story even more.

After WTE I read BAE....hhhh I loved BAE....I ACTUALLY CRIED AT POINTS IN THOSE STORIES </3

Anyway, after WTE I didn't stop thinking about it, kinda just stared at my wall for half an hour looking confused, ik I'm going to do that exact thing once Washed Up is done, and I ain't complaining.

It actually took me a bit to read Washed Up too, after WTE I needed a break because I couldn't find any stories that matched how good it was, and for some reason, I didn't look at Washed Up which was literally created by the same person </333333 (I'm a little dumb)

When I'm hyperfixated on smth I get hyperfixated on things in that smth (like Javier) and I got hyperfixated on WTE (but I didn't draw fanart, which disappoints me) so that's another reason I didn't read Washed Up right away, I actually read WTE twice.

So I FINALLY started Washed Up and yeah that was the best thing I've ever done. Actually, this story might be one of the best fics I've ever read, I just absolutely love the slow burn that wasn't too short to be like, "What just happened?" and wasn't too long to make me get bored of the story, but in every chapter, I might've asked, "are they gonna kiss?"...

And the characters, omg, I actually didn't expect Vincente to turn out how he did, I love this version of him. and Eddie.......hhhhhhh Eddie.......I love Eddie...AND FLACO, WHEN I WAS READING THE TAGS I GOT SO SURPRISED THAT BRO WAS IN IT THAT EVERY TIME A NEW CHARACTER WAS INTRODUCED (without knowing their name ofc) I WAS LIKE, "Flaco?"

We won against City—me mum was proper hyped up over it. I got to dance with Colin's fit new boyfriend and tease him about it, and then I got to come home with you." Roy's heart jumps to his throat at Jamie's phrasing. "And that makes you happy?" he rasps. "All that?" Roy's shirt bunches under Jamie's hand as he grips it. "Roy," he says desperately, eyes pleading.

Eddie Brock & Symby headcanons part II

I love them so much, they are my cringefail hyperfixations and deserved way better in the series. I just think they are neat.

Sometimes when Eddie sleeps, he has nightmares. Of his past, of the verbal abuse he suffered at the hands of his father and Jameson and of that time he spent in a coma completely helpless. The symbiote tries to comfort him as best as it can, but given its naivieté and young age he has barely any grasp of humans emotions other that Eddie’s preferred anger and self hate. So it decides that the best course of action will be to wrap itself around Eddie’s body like a cocoon reassuring him of its presence through their shared bond. It may seem a simple gesture, but it really means more to Eddie than anything else.

Even if their diet consists mostly of junk food and coffee (which is probably the only thing they can afford) Eddie is constantly working out to keep fit. Given his symbiotic partner, the normal amount of weightlifting is nothing to him, so he has to ask his other to turn off their increased combined strength so he can improve his not so regular human powress.

I saw someone headcanon that once Eddie and the symbiote were fully merged a lot of body horror would be commonly happening in Eddie’s body, and boy they were absolutely right. Sometimes it’s extra white eyes all over his body, other times it’s a second mouth full of sharp teeth on his torso… These random transformations keep happening even when he is in human form, though they doesn’t seem to be bothering him at all and just accepts them as part of his daily life.

Eddie rarely smiles, given his gloomy view of life and low opinion of society. However there are two rare occasions were he allows himself to do it: one is when he feels is other wiggling playfull inside him; his lips quirk upwards in a soft smile full of tenderness; the other is when some bitch that has been annoying them is about to get it, that smile is wide, full of pointy teeth and devoid of any tenderness. It’s diabolical and menacing.

Eddie is a very determined man, and sometimes he tends to surpass his own limits, which drives dear Symby nuts. A healthy host is a happy host and an even happier symbiote, so they constatnly have to remind Eddie to sleep, eat and even shower when they are in the middle of a very intriguing case.

Despite being very vulnerable to fire and loud noises, the symbiote loves fireworks, they are entraced by the magical colorful lights illuminating the skies. They make sure to watch them from a safe distance though, no matter how pretty, fireworks are still very dangerous for symbiotes.

The symbiote also loves movies, Symby is fascinated by the storytelling and the acting of the characters. Their favorite genre are romantic comedies and dramas where everything turns alright in the end, they are a very sappy go. I think Eddie would also be interested in cinema, but more than the actual product he is more invested in the process of making a movie. Eventhough he likes to act though and uncaring, the symbiote can feel when one of their favorite sappy movies has touched him.

They may have been bonded to Eddie for as long as they can remember, but the symbiote has little no none idea about human culture and etiquette, and given Eddie’s lack of social skills they don’t have much to learn. That’s why sometimes they misinterpret some festivities (e.g. In St. Valentines they tried to take someone’s actual heart to give it to Eddie, thinking it was the meaning of the holiday.And Eddie thought it was the most romantic thing ever, they really are two idiots made for each other)

Given that now they have each other to rely on and being bonded gave them a massive boost in confidence, Eddie is less willing to take shit from anybody. If anyone tries to pull the same stunts on him that Jameson pulled it won’t end good.

But the thing I firmly believe in is that since they are bonded, their mental health has improved. They may be terrible influences over each other; yet Eddie is definitely happier than he was before (even if he remains a grump) and doesn’t feel like a failure anymore and the symbiote has someone who they can connect with and pursue a mutually beneficial relationship.
