Actually, it's about Itachi and Sasuke

initially, I immediately decided that Itachi had influenced Lee to join Akatsuki in the end.

so Skuun's ideas influenced me to think about it in more detail, because I didn't think about Sasuke at first.

so sooner or later they would have discussed this point too, and I think they would have managed to build a trusting relationship for this.

..at some point after Sasuke's rescue arc, Itachi would have found Lee. Also to talk, as it was with Naruto. (Apart from what was described in one of the parts where I told you that Itachi just chose to pick up the Konoha boy from Orochimaru in the mom mode lol)

Of course, this conversation would not be like a conversation with Naruto, I imagine how Lee, on the contrary, purses his lips "in a beak", saying that he and Sasuke are not friends at all. (for now)

Itachi would like to know more about Sasuke, but since there would be little information, he would eventually tell about Akatsuki, predicting that the alliance with Orochimaru would not last long.

Skuun really inspired me to think about them a lot more

because in the future, it seems to me that they really have a pretty interesting long friendship, cemented by time and common problems

NOT TO MENTION THE WAR ARCH AND THE POST!WAR TIME (it's even a pity that I already described about anbu in another part ahahah)

and I really like the fact that then the canonical situations between Naruto, Sasuke, Gaara and Lee intertwine and parallel a little differently

I even started to think that maybe Sasuke would trust me with a story about his plans for the final arches.

Canon:

-you’d be his therapist. He would definitely go to you for comfort if he was best friends with you before the massacre.

-part of him would try to distance himself but also he’s so lonely that he wouldn’t be able to let go of you too after losing everyone

-would still choose revenge because even the love of his life couldn’t stop him from going and taking revenge

-would definitely be terrified of losing you and there would be a time period where he tries to cut you out of his life to be alone

-when he matures and Naruto saves him, he eventually would come back and probably apologise for cutting you out

No Massacre AU:

-you’d be like his other Itachi

-he would go to you to complain about his dad, to ask why Itachi spends so little time with him, to badmouth Naruto and so on

-would probably ask you to train him if he thinks you’re strong

-would go to you for advice all the time

-as he enters his edgy years he would probably become a little arrogant and think he knows better than you but he would still really admire you and love you in secret

-you would have to be the one to push him towards a relationship with Naruto after he non-stop talks about him all the time

Sarada Timeskip Redesign: My AU

My version of Boruto Timeskip is very different because I didn’t like the original story anyway I am a strong believer that everyone loves Boruto now because of his ‘cool’ redesign which essentially destroys his original character and gives him the edgy bad boy look which is NOT what he is.

Sarada fell into a feeling of helplessness when her father left for a second time and Boruto leaving and Kawaki’s betrayal. And having this breakdown does not make her weak she has had something like this before in Gaiden. This would spark her character development in which she’d have to prioritize her goals and what she would be focusing on for the next 3 years until Boruto came back which would bring another hurricane of problems.

Sarada tried explaining to to Chocho that Boruto was actually the Hokage’s son because she was her closest friend but instead Chocho looked at her with pity thinking she went crazy due to all these new changes and tried disproving her since she herself had gone through massive changes in her home life with her dad being put under more pressure and having to step up in his role as the Akinichi clan head with Naruto dying the clan’s began cracking in their trust of Konoha’s leadership and her dad had to deal with that. Karui herself had to reassign her perspective of Konoha and her loyalty to the Cloud village. Chocho thought she was helping but Sarada could only see that her closest friend couldn’t believe her. Her mother was silent she went into a state of Workaholic stress because of Sasuke leaving again. And Sarada couldn’t really trust anyone with her thoughts or feelings especially not Himawari who was dealing with three losses already.

But out of nowhere a hand reached for her that hand was Sumire. Sumire also was unaffected by Eida’s omnipotence it was a shock but she was quickly able to adapt to the situation because she wasn’t as emotionally affected as Sarada. They both became a team they realized quickly that there would be no point in trying to convince Konoha that Boruto was actually Naruto’s son without proof and that proof was hard to find Kawaki was quick to get rid of any traces of Boruto’s legitimacy. Sumire and Sarada worked on finding more about the Otsusuki clan and getting contact with Boruto. They weren’t able to get in contact with Boruto however they did dig around and find more about the Otsusuki.

Different teams in Konoha were working on different goals.

Sarada became more serious about her training perfecting and making more versions of her Chidori her outfit resembling more of Sasuke’s style because Sarada wanted a way to feel closer to her father who she had been on recently reconnecting with before having to let him go again. However Sarada does add her own personal touch to her style. Sometimes she wears glasses and sometimes she doesn’t.

She briefly awakes her Mangekyo during her depression phase but it isn’t fully awakened until a few weeks/months till Boruto’s return when she strengthens her resolve no one except Sumire knows.

Hope everyone's been doing good :)!! I took my 2 day death break from writing after dropping ch 8, and am back in full swing.

i'm 2.7k words in so far, so my hope is to get that out by the 30th, which is a day after my bday. lmao not me working overtime for yall <3

On another note, I think chapter 9 and particularly 10 will be on the longer side. not sure exactly how long yet, but I think they're pretty meaty chapters, so please keep me in your thoughts as I get through writing those LOL

technically: Naruto dies at the begining from the Zabuza arc. Sasuke unlocks the mangekyou sharingan. He acts like he doesn't care but his eyes tells the truth. He misses naruto. and Sakura was okay after a few weeks. Obito saved Naruto and manipulated him like Madara did. Showed him that even the people he loved don't care and that everyone hates him. Naruto joins Obito and becomes known as "The fox spirit". (After Naruto turned 16, he also became a member of Akatsuki.)

Sasuke is blind because Naruto stole his eyes. Naruto is now a Jinjuriki that has the mangekyou sharingan and those kunais from Minato that Obito gave him. A Jinjuriki with the teleportation jutsu and the amaterasu?! OP Naruto do brrr- Naruto doesn't use the mangekyou sharingans that much because of going blind blah blah blah.

Naruto has a big "hate" for Sasuke because he was 70% fault for Naruto's death. It turned into a kind of hate love thing. Iruka was the only one that mattered to Naruto and he swore to Iruka through the ??infinitive zuchojiomi?? (how do you spell that shit) to give the best life.

Naruto explores the west side of the earth (America) with Sasuke and the two learn about their culture. (maybe they even get guns xd? /jk)

yes the story is wierd. and it used to be a bit different. no. Actually VERY different. Narutos dead was different and at the very VERY beginning in their first serious mission only bc of sasuke and naruto was sent to hell and becomes a demon and manipulates sasuke so that he kills all the akademi people in his former class. It was a very dark story.

The ask game looks so cool! For me, I’d definitely have Itachi carry my first child. I admit to being biased towards him, but I also have logical reasons for this decision! Itachi’s bloodline ability, the Sharingan, is a powerful trait that has a high chance of passing to any children he has, and I feel like he would be mature enough to responsibly care for said children. He loves so so much, almost to the point that’s it’s overwhelming, so I have no doubt he’d try to be the best mother possible to any and all of his children.

For my harem, it’d look like this!

Main Consort: Itachi

Side Consort: Kakashi, Neji, Sasuke

General Consorts: Naruto, Gaara

Hehe, on this blog, we're all biased towards Itachi 😆

I don't include ninja stuff in this AU, but Itachi would still be a good choice. Powerful clan, healthy (he doesn't have a sharigan so he doesn't get super sick), and you're totally right, he's very mature and responsible. Also, it's always a safe choice to go with the head consort first unless you have a good reason not to.

Itachi is just such a good father omg. He's so so honoured that you'd choose him first and honestly he wants at least three, ideally four children so he's very happy to get started!!

Although it's not required, Itachi is very hands on with his child, teaching them and often co sleeping with them. He's raises them so well omg 🥺

Kakashi: He's completely relieved that you haven't forced him to do the whole child birthing thing, because that's not for him. He's happy to supervise slightly older children when their caregiver needs to step away for a bit, and he'll help teach them in the training grounds if they are interested when they're older. He's also one of the best people to go to in an emergency because he always keeps calm. The children often ask him for advice when they get into bad situations because he won't rat them out to their parents normally lol.

Neji: Jealous boy, jealous boy. Takes himself to his room for a woe is me session and then decides to confront you for a timeline as to when he's allowed to have a baby :( Does go in the middle of the night to spend time with the baby though. He really loves all the children in the harem, but his own are absolutely his favourites so he wants one of his own.

Sasuke: Ugh, 🙄 are we seriously going to have little brats running around the harem now? He's too edgy to be around children when he's younger. He doesn't really like them. He's still slightly offended that you didn't pick him though lol. He does find the children in the harem very amusing, but he's not exactly jumping at joy to hang out with them. He only wants one of his own maximum, and he's happy to wait quite a few years for that, thanks.

Naruto: Awww, he wanted one! Oh well, at least he can play with Itachi's whenever he wants. One of the main things that he was attracted to about being in a harem was all the little feet pattering on the floor all the time, because harems normally have lots of children in them. Naruto is happy to babysit all the time, but Itachi will probably have multiple heart attacks because Naruto lets the child play in the fountains and takes them down to the kitchens and stuff. Not inherently dangerous, but Itachi still goes 😧😨 whenever he sees it lol.

Gaara: He's happy for Itachi. He respects Itachi a great deal actually and seeing him happy makes Gaara feel happy. His time will come when he's ready. He's very focused on making sure Itachi is comfortable during his pregnancy. He's not very intuitive about what Itachi might need but he does as he's asked as soon as Itachi asks it.

They were watching their lives go by, shadows of unknown faces passing by them, not noticing their pain, or not caring whatsoever. Their backs were touching, but it was all cold and bleak; a bad memory. A clan slaughtered, a demon sealed. Two lonely boys wallowing in their own sadness.

"Well, even if I don't make it, I'm glad it was you, bastard—"

"Shut up, idiot." His voice sounded strained, even for his standards, but Sasuke was so tired he couldn't even bring himself to care.

"We're really dying, ah? Wanna say something? I do have things to say, 'cause there's no way I'm dying—"

"In silence?" Sasuke interrupted, but Naruto payed him no mind.

"Without telling you how much of an asshole you've been! I couldn't even keep my promise to Sakura-chan! She's gonna be so damn mad when she finds out, I'm sure she'll drag me back to life just to cave my face in—" He was rambling at that point, but it was just so comforting and normal to Sasuke that he didn't even acknowledge it anymore.

"Hn. Sakura... She..."

"She still loves you, asshole. I don't have any idea how it can be possible but—"

"I'm sorry..." It sounded rushed, but Naruto heard it perfectly, and in the darkness of their shared consciousness, Sasuke heard a resigned sigh.

"Well, it's not that bad. I cannot imagine dying beside anyone but you, bastard."

"Idiot..." He made a pause. "Me neither."

"You're both a pair of idiots!"

Suddenly, the unreadable mass of unrecognizable faces around them cleared, and one figure stood in front of them, pink eyebrows frowned in annoyance. Though this version of Sakura looked familiar, it was one none of the boys had seen in a long time. Genin, long-haired, Sakura was glaring at them, arms crossed.

"Sakura-chan! What are you doing in here?!"

Her eyes softened. "What, so I'm supposed to let you two die, after everything? No way in hell!"

"Sakura..."

"You!" She pointed at Sasuke, who flinched slightly at her rudeness. "I don't know what the hell happened, but I don't care. Lighten up and start being your moody self. We love you just like that! Don't act so repented and shit! If you're sorry stop looking like a lost puppy and start doing something about it, you asshole!" Her voice was raising with madness and it was slightly off putting to see what used to be a stuttering lovestruck preteen talking to him like that.

Naruto snorted at that, obviously delighted for not being at the receiving end of her wrath for once. It was short-lived, however.

"And you!" She pointed at the blonde; then crossed her arms. He jumped back in fright. "What is this? How dare you even consider dying after you promised to be the best goddamned Hokage in history?! Here I am, rooting for you, while you lay around like a lazy pig with your edgy bro there. You should be ashamed of yourself!" She scoffed.

Naruto's mouth was so wide open he could have caught a fly. "Lazy pig? Are you kidding?!"

Sasuke raised an eyebrow, half amused, half annoyed. "Edgy?"

Suddenly, the edges of their vision began to blurr, like a genjutsu being unravelled. "Ah, someone came to help you at last." Sakura seemed relieved. Strangely so.

"Hey, Sakura-chan! You know what? You're right. I'll be the best damn Hokage ever, believe it! Just you watch!" He threw a punch to the air.

Seemingly placated and pleased with his answer, she nodded. "I know so." Then, she turned to her other teammate, who was concentrating solely on her face, mismatched eyes softened as they'll ever be. "And you'll make sure he doesn't mess up, right?"

They shared a long silence. There was something strange about Sakura aside her appearance. He could tell. "Hn. I will..."

"Hey! I don't need him watching over—"

"Sure you don't." He countered sarcastically.

"Also..." They turned to her again. "I'm sorry."

"Wha—" Naruto stuttered. "What the hell would you be sorry for, Sakura-chan?! If anything, it's the bastard here who should be apologizing to you!"

"Sakura..." Sasuke seemed to be searching for the right words, but she couldn't let them go without them listening to her. To what she needed them to know. There wasn't much time left after all.

"I'm sorry, because I wasn't what you needed..." She closed her eyes, her pretty minty orbs. Her appearance suddenly shifted, before then now standing her true self, still dressed in the standard shinobi uniform of the alliance. Her forehead protector lost to whoever knows where. "And thank you. You both made me stronger. You made me appreciate what I had. And I'll always, always love you. Our moments together like team seven... I'll treasure them for all eternity."

"Sakura-chan..."

"I know Konoha wasn't the best to you both, but don't forget the good... The wholesome moments. It's all that matters in the end... Our bonds, the bonds you managed to forge with sweat and blood... The world we live in, the world that gave me the chance to meet you. To me, that's to be cherished. Forever."

The white light started overwhelming the rest. Even Sakura's features started dissapearing.

"Live. Just live." For that, she specifically stared at Sasuke, a soft smile playing on her lips. "And thank you."

Sasuke started racing towards her, hand stretched, a forebonding understanding shaking his bones. "Sakura!"

And then, they both lost consciousness.

When they woke up, aside from feeling like shit, the first thing that crossed their minds what the finality of Sakura's words. Tsunade was beside them, patching them up, with Kakashi beside her, silently watching over them.

"About time, brats! What were you think—"

"Baa-san." Naruto interrupted her, his voice the most serious she had heard him until then.

"Where's Sakura?" Sasuke finished for him, his eyes icy and detached, trying to keep his worry at bay.

But she didn't need to answer. Her chakra flow hesitated, spiking with sorrow. Her eyes glistening with unbearable loss. Kakashi, at her side, stared, eyes widened in comprehension.

She was gone by a long shot.

And they were just finding out.

Everybody had different ways of dealing with loss. Naruto helped rebuild the village along with everyone else, but he skipped his usual meals, his ramen left forgotten in his kitchen counter. His movements when sparring were sloppy at best, not just because of the new prosthetic limb, but also because his mind was clearly somewhere else. Usually, Shikamaru would drag him out his makeship house, like he had done when Jiraija was gone for good. Sometimes, he would bring Ino with him, who was suspiciously skinny and messier than normal. No makeup covering the dark circles under her eyes.

Kakashi spent more than usual at the memorial stone every day, tracing the newly marked name of the girl who once remained him of Rin but that had come to claim a place for herself in his heart. Also, he took more missions than it was allowed in a month, going so far as to pick up his ANBU mask again, which caused an altercation with Tsunade, who hadn't been sober in a long time and had been hoping to hand the Hokage seat to him.

Sai avoided the color pink for a long time.

Sasuke... Well, he dealed with loss the same as everyone else... Longing for the missing person to be there, itching to have the opportunity to say what he couldn't at the time. Wanting to be alone whenever they would reach for him... And he built a tomb for her in hopes to find some closure. Not that official, because there wasn't a body to bury, and it had no name, but it was enough for him. He would bring with him camellias every day, buying them at the Yamanaka's, where Ino would always glance at him in silent understanding.

One morning, on his way to her tomb, he spotted a young shinobi leaving a white lilly for her. When he came by, the child spoke without a care, like they were acquaintances. "This is Sakura-san's, right?"

"Hn." It wasn't really an answer, but the child seemed to understand anyway.

"You know? Mama and big sister are also buried in these grounds... I always talk to them and tell them about my day and stuff I want them to know!" He turned to the Uchiha, a smirk on his cherubic face. "I'm sure she would appreciate it as well." And just like that, he left without another word.

Sasuke sat on the ground, just in front of the stone, mismatched eyes half lidded. Sensing no one in the vicinity, he exaled a shaky breath, and his dam opened up, the words longing to be said broke the silence he had been wrapping around himself since he knew of her death:

"I miss you... I've been missing you since I first left."
