Your worth is not defined by anything. Your worth is not defined by how able you are to help another in their time of need. Your worth is not defined by how lovable others see you as. Your worth is not even defined by your amount of self-love, or how worthy you believe yourself to be. Beneath all the wounding, there is a remembrance: You are infinitely worthy just by being here, exactly as you are. _ I see so many people base their sense of worth on their "success," followers, or service. I myself have fallen into this trap. There are so many ego traps we can fall into based on our wounds wanting to feel a (false) sense of fulfillment and healing. _ So, what can we do about it? Well, first of all, become aware of the thoughts and limiting beliefs you are cycling in. Mind your self-talk! If you wouldn't let a "friend" talk to you that way, you definitely don't want to talk to yourself that way. As I heard recently, if you speak to yourself negatively, you can lovingly and playfully say "That isn't the voice of God/Goddess!" ~ this can snap you into laughing at your story. Align with your Divine Truth, pure heart, and infinite beauty. _ Second, go within and feel the parts of you that feel unworthy. This is oftentimes deeply connected to how we GIVE (i.e. are you giving to feel a certain way, or to get something out of it?) and how we RECEIVE (do you feel guilty receiving?). _ In seeing it and feeling it, we have the opportunity to receive the lesson, wisdom, and medicine it is teaching us. We can then feel gratitude and love for it, and send it blissfully on its way. _ It's definitely not a one-time process... there are so many layers and levels. But hey, the deeper you go, the more precious and powerful the gems of wisdom tend to be. SHAME HANGOVERS (they're real and they're not a reason to quit) 🍂 So you want to expand. You want to choose growth. You want to live outside your comfort zone. Closure is totally up to the person who needs it to get it. What works for you? What doesn’t? Always be aware of the feeling of superiority. Self-righteous superiority is your biggest clue that you are in an ego trap. The ego loves to sneak in the back door. "Se você acha que é mais “espiritual” andar de bicicleta ou usar transporte público para se locomover, tudo bem, mas se você julgar qualquer outra pessoa que dirige um carro, então você está preso em uma armadilha do ego.

Se você acha que é mais “espiritual” não ver televisão porque mexe com o seu cérebro, tudo bem, mas se julgar aqueles que ainda assistem, então você está preso em uma armadilha do ego.

Se você acha que é mais “espiritual” evitar saber de fofocas ou noticias da mídia , mas se encontra julgando aqueles que leem essas coisas, então você está preso em uma armadilha do ego.

Se você acha que é mais “espiritual” fazer Yoga, se tornar vegano, comprar só comidas orgânicas, comprar cristais, praticar reiki, meditar, usar roupas “hippies”, visitar templos e ler livros sobre iluminação espiritual, mas julgar qualquer pessoa que não faça isso, então você está preso em uma armadilha do ego.

Sempre esteja consciente ao se sentir superior. A noção de que você é superior é a maior indicação de que você está em uma armadilha egóica. O ego adora entrar pela porta de trás. Ele vai pegar uma ideia nobre, como começar yoga e, então, distorcê-la para servir o seu objetivo ao fazer você se sentir superior aos outros; você começará a menosprezar aqueles que não estão seguindo o seu “caminho espiritual certo”.

Superioridade, julgamento e condenação. Essas são armadilhas do ego.” - Mooji
