Okay, I just realized something that's *probably* not actually going to matter but seems important to my brain so I'm posting about it.

Right now, Ikora says we're gonna need to go to 'our' Saint-14's grave in the infinite forest to get data off his corpse, right? But I've remembered a small lore detail that (I think) *proves* there's no corpse there already! Because we saved him!

It's not a lore entry, or a bit of forgettable dialouge either. It's a model change.

You see, if you're unaware, Saint-14's helmet is a Titan exotic. Before the sundial, it had a big dent in it, because lore-wise it was removed from his corpse. After we saved Saint, though, the model was changed to NOT have a dent in it, because it couldn't be 'sourced' from his corpse anymore, and he gave it to us freely instead.

So, there isn't a 'real' Saint body in the infinite forest. Unless of course Bungie themselves forget about this little detail (or have already come up with some silly handwave for it), in which case I will be somewhat upset. I think it would be far more interesting naratively to have Saint confronted with even more concrete evidence that he's a Real Boy, turning his identity crisis on it's head (at the start of the season he thought he was 'real' and was told that he was 'fake', and as he comes to terms with that and accepts he's 'fake' he is then presented with irrefutable evidence that he is 'real')

just to be completely clear, the amount of military power and political influence Israel has has NOTHING to do with its settlers being Jewish. Israel is a force for American & European interests in the region and they're just doing what America does and allows/encourages its close allies to do.

Even though Ais only had minor changes in his part, I think the "It's a nice laugh" scene hit hard for all of us Ais lovers (or maybe some idk)I'm still recovering from that scene as we speak. Ok but hear me out, what if; he didn't touch but just stared and you noticed this and asked, "What?" This startled him and his pupils go slit. He wants to say smth but words choke in his throat so he just looks away, rubbing the back off his neck, like he's nervous, covering his mouth with his knuckles. Then he looks at you, eyes softening into crescent. It's subtle but you can see blush paints his cheeks and even his ears. The corner of his mouth lifts slightly, then you heard a whisper, so soft it feels like it was meant only for you to hear it; "It's a nice laugh." ///PUNCHES WALLS-- crying and throwing up

I know of this feels like an OOC but yknow! what if he does hve this side of him? reserved for someone tht he finds truly interesting?? He becomes a bit shy and maybe awkward when trying to show genuine feelings? It’s such a contrast to someone who jst knocked a guy half-dead

i think it's hard to imagine awkward or shy ais because he's So. also ais's base level composure means he bounces back quickly from being flustered.. esp earlier in the relationship (pre-dating) he's more conscious about tucking away that softer side of him? he likes you, but it can't be That easy! THOUGH he might still blush or soften before deflecting/carrying on >:3

SO!! to FIND a stumbling, genuine ais, imo it'd be later when he's realizing the depth of his feelings. Before he reaches the point of trying to cut you off (iirc he was the one who got too attached to vere?). maybe you find him while he's having a Crisis about it and seeing you magnifies everything he's feeling, and for once he struggles with what to say or do. though that's not a fun fluffy scenario anymore... orz

to BRING OUT a shy blushy ais i would attack with sincere affection after an emotionally vulnerable conversation!! or when emotions are already heightened!! his guard's down, his attention is on you, all he can think about is you, etc. like: you saw straight through him/shown How well you know him and he's like [ ! ], you've both shared something really vulnerable, had a near-death experience, or even (gasp!) saying "i love you" for the first time, etc. etc.

Hm. i don't know how to explain my ais. he walks the line of having his heart on his sleeve in a specific way that means. a lot of the time if he Is flustered or hiding from you, he doesn't hide the fact that he's hiding from you .? he's not wholly exposed, but to some extent he always lets you see him.... i don't think i make sense. like if it's a sincere compliment. there's the Eyes widening and stare and words getting stuck in his throat (ur a genius 4 that. cool witty guy Can't be cool and witty?? HELL YES!). and then. he doesn't Turn away from you . But he brings his hand to his face and covers his eyes while he softly laughs in disbelief. he covers his eyes instead of his laugh because he wants you to see it. and when he lets his hand fall YES there's a faint blush and his eyes are soft crescents and his smile and voice are gentle YEAS!!

not 2 say he never looks away. i imagine him doing that a lot w his. Emotional Crisis portion of the relationship at least.

Want to say I'm very sorry to people who send me asks and I don't end up answering them!! I promise you I do see them, it's just that I get new asks almost everyday so it's very hard to keep track of and answer them before it gets overwhelming.

Not to mention for some asks they take time because I either want to respond with a drawing, or a long yap (sometimes both even), or it even might just take me a while to think of how to answer them. If I could, I'd answer all of them at once, but sadly I'm one person who gets busy every now and then. hey y’all!

so i’ve been considering this a lot in the past few weeks, and figured i’d make an official post so you all know i’m alive and what not since i have been very much inactive as of recently.

i’m taking a break.

not forever! not because of anything in the fandom! this break is solely due to personal life reasons and the fact i just can’t be as active on here right now between my jobs and personal affairs. and it also won’t be long — i’m going to be off here probably through the end of november. if i have the time/mental capacity to come back before then, i absolutely will 🖤 but right now, tumblr isn’t something that fits easily within my days and also, writing for my fics hasn’t been something i can easily do not due to lack of inspiration but lack of time.

again, this is just due to my own personal life currently. nothing happened in the fandom that motivated this decision (i honestly don’t even know what’s happening on here currently solely because i haven’t had the time to scroll lol) and it’s very much not permanent, and will HOPEFULLY be very short. like i said, until the end of november. i’ll still be writing in my free time, and my hope is to be able to update fics once i’m back and worse better than ever! 🖤
