AU after episode 62. The Omega Dads try a more desperate gambit, but careful what you wish for. Our dads find alternate versions of themselves in a strange dreamscape. Do you trust yourself?

Even putting aside the Dorym of it all... I kinda feel like part of the reason Orym misses Dorian so much is that Dorian is kinda the next most normal person in the Crownkeepers and Bell’s Hells. Which is honestly a little wild to be saying about a runaway prince in disguise. But like...

The Crownkeepers have/had:

- A himbo dwarf Sorceror who has been singled out by a Lesser Idol in a fursuit.

- A bubbly girly-girl Warlock who is apparently her own patron (and the Spider Queen's here too, I guess)

- A Rabbit-folk Paladin who used to be a bartender in Fantasy Vegas and is now devoted to the goddess of death.

- A kleptomaniac Faun whose adoptive grandmother is an eldritch hag with the power to alter fate. Also, has a pet monkey that shits fire.

- Does Cyrus count? He’s an NPC. In any case, he’s basically the same as Dorian, but More Himbo and less useful, lol.

- A woman so intense she is literally always on fire.

Bell's Hells has/had:

- Fearne (I already explained her)

- A Werewolf who makes toys and hates Santa.

- A walking corpse who is haunted by the spirit of the necromancer who raised her from the dead. Also enjoys puppeting a dead rat.

- A purple-haired Psychic who gets her powers from an imprisoned eldritch moon monster.

- A Barbarian punk who is half Primordial Titan, half Beacon, all attitude. Also, they used to be an Aasimar before his cultist parents meddled with powers beyond mortal understanding.

- A chirpy, sentient Robot who is technically a therapist, but also really bad at it. Recently discovered religion and is real annoying about it.

- An 80 year-old man who is an erstwhile member of the legendary Vox Machina. Also, known liar and coward.

In contrast, you have Dorian (runaway prince) and Orym (just some guy).

I feel like they probably met each other for the first time and were both like, 'THANK THE GODS, SOMEONE WHO ISN'T TOTALLY BONKERS,' and just stuck to each other. Like two acquaintances at a party where they didn't know anyone else. 😂😂😂

Reached my boiling point after Fontaine AQ & all the consumed fan content, and decided to dive into my dream-based post-canon/ canon divergent dragon!Aether AU, in which the Traveler "unlocks" himself a dragon form through [4.2 AQ spoilers]. So I snatched a liner to not get "stuck" in sketches, and found him during work breaks ^^

Think of this AU as taking place after the final (successful) war with Celestia, in which Aether participated in the form of that huge eldritch gentleman from the last sketch page. Also, most of my Genshin content revolves/will revolve around my polyamorous Kaeya/Aether/Ajax (Kaetherajax) OTP in any dynamic. Although "my" Aether is far more on a leading side, a "connecting link", and an anchor for Ajax and Kaeya - all three ultimately being a secret safe space for each other.

So wth did this come from:

I once had a dream about Aether being stuck in the dragon form in a different world xD He looked similar to a dragon OC of mine, as if he +- belonged to the same species but with his own quirks. In the dream he looked somewhere in-between the "condensed" (was also a liiiiittle bit bigger than that) and "uncondensed" versions. The twins found themselves in a "classy fantasy" world with different branches of magic, and Aether turned out to be a metamorph-healer. They helped to alleviate this world's global crisis, but a fragment of something connected with the local "dark side of the force" got lodged in Aether's chest, seized control over him and forced him to slip away in an unknown direction, stuck in the form of a dragon. Lumine and the local Chaeya set off to search for him - and succeeded! He almost R.I.P.ed them, but came to his senses in time. Most memorable moments:

Aether's appearance - he had three eyes, and when he was under control of the shard, the right and third eyes were just rolled back white, while the left had multiple pupils, similar to a demon from my bw pict attached. But he was overall incredibly creepy in this "possessed" state.

When Aether began to struggle for control, he moved like... I don't know how to describe it, but it was SO fucked up - it was clear from the movements that two entities were fighting for the "seat at the helm", and the body looked like a marionet at times. The closest I can think of is the monkey boss from Sekiro in its headless phase, when it does plunge attacks and forward dashes with a sword x'DDD The sight was absolutely chilling.

When Aether "surfaced" and allowed Lumi, Kaeya and Ajax to get their hands almost elbow-deep into his chest and try to pull out the shard. But while it was budging, it was burning their hands almost to the bone, even despite Lumi's healing and the combo of water-ice cooling from Cheya. In the end it tossed them all aside by some sort of shockwave - so Aether dove into his own wound while he was still "lucid", and ripped the shard out with his own teeth, for Lumine to destroy it.

And the last but not the least was the most hilarious scene of licking the wounds of the companions - Aether was capable of healing almost any damage but in such a strange way, 'cause dragon incarnation enhanced all the abilities, but something about its "composition" influenced "magic conductivity" xDD He carefully used Kaya's palm as an example for what he had in mind (he had a hard time speaking in this form). Kaeya immediately bared Childe's nasty wound (on his side) from Aether's claws, and Childe was instantly alarmed for the most ridiculous reasons:

Сhilde: Nononono wait - he's her brother, right? A human! Another very human man licking me! How is that okay?! Kaeya: ... Do you HAVE to make things even more awkward than they are? Lumine: does a discreet eyeroll

Turns out it was very much okay, but there was one very awkwardly fluffed up Aether licking the wounds of a tomato-grade red Childe, who was hiding his face in his hands.

the best I can give you is to look up references on how people tie their hair up (both women and men) and to remember that SWK’s hair is canonically slicked back meaning he has longer hair he tends to just. push back to give the illusion of short hair

Well if you’ve noticed their horns to get longer lol. They kinda grow bigger and bigger as time goes on. The marking on their face gets bigger too. Might go with giving them more skeletal features just for some good cryptic/doomed lovers art cuz yes.

Kinda wanna make them oblivious just for the former bishops to talk behind their back like “Oh shit man they’re going through god puberty.”

Also Nari having to deal with their little bits of insanity as they adjust to new powers. I mean becoming death itself definitely damages your psyche in some way right?? Though I feel they’re able to control themselves enough to more embody a peaceful passing rather than a bloody one like Nari did.

Also wanting to go with their wool going black when they’re going eldritch horror mode lol. Low key excited to doodle that but anyway have a monkey dude he’s my little man and I’m tryna get him a gold skull necklace in game cuz I love him

The Spot

I always feel like when talking about movie adaptations of Comic villains that we look at what they’re adapting The Spot is interesting because it more Lore accurate than you think. His name before the became The Spot was a pun. His name was Johnny Ohnn as in “Johnny on the spot. In the comics he was an MIT Scientist employed by Kingpin to try and find out how to purposefully create superpowers.

Dr. Ohnn was failing at every turn and Kingpin was about to “remove” him if he didn’t create results. Until while trying to figure out the secret to the teleporting powers of the Hero Cloak (he had a large black cloak and would fall into the darkness of his own cloak and teleport between shadows) what he instead created was a literal Black Hole in his lab

Not liking the idea of dying by Kingpins hands he took the chance of a lifetime and went inside. Instead of finding pathways of Darkness that Cloak used he found himself in white Void with infinite Dark Pathways. He did not stand inside the holes of dimensions somehow he managed to stand OUTSIDE of all dimensions. Upon finding the Hole that led out his body forever reflected that strange void he would call “The Spot World”

He would then use his powers to try and kill Spider-Man and his first words to Spider-Man were “I’m your arch nemesis!” To which Spider-Man laughed and said “no you’re not” and fairly easily defeated him after figuring out how he can run out of spots after a while.

After some time The Spot would return with a bunch of genuinely pathetic D Tier villains like Kangaroo 2 (a man who gave himself a super suit in the shape of a kangaroo with all the abilities of said animal) Grizzly (a Rhino Knock off with a grizzly bear costume) and Gibbon (a wannabe hero who dressed like a monkey with his only skills being acrobatics and was promptly laughed at by Spider-Man which is why Gibbon turned to villainy in the first place and YES THATS DUMB) this group of absolute losers called themselves the “Spider-Man Revenge Squad” and Spider-Man called them “The Loser Squad”

Spot would eventually display a new ability which I call the Kenny Power. As in Kenny from South Park, apparently much like Kenny Spot will die one issue and then come back in another. He broke Tombstone out of jail and Tombstone thanked him by snapping his neck. He was killed by Electra who was brainwashed by Hydra, he was recruited by Hydra then killed by Hydra after he tried to betray them. After all these years later Kingpin killed him after forcefully using his powers far more effectively than Spot could on his own (I’ll get back to that)

Spot can full on die and then come back like nothing happened not because he can heal like Deadpool but because he’s Inter-Dimensional super being and whenever he dies he just respawns in Spot World

The thing is despite the fact the Marvel World constantly shuts on Spot and calls him a loser (and he is) his powers are also extremely powerful and basically God-like. The problem is that he’s a terrible Villain. He just straight up sucks at being the bad guy. Theirs been many stories of villains capturing Spot and forcefully using his powers for their own ends or villains straight stealing his power. It’s always horrifying. The Spot is basically a newly born unkillable Eldritch God whose only held back by the fact he doesn’t comprehend the scope of his own power

There's also a new comedy night run by Black Crow Comedy here in Galway - it's an open mic intended for women and queer and nonbinary comedians, and it's at 9pm on Wednesday the 5th July in Aras na nGael.

This event is to raise money for Galway Pride, with tickets at €3, and I'm super excited about more marginalised comics having a dedicated space here in the city.

Anyway, out this week was Issue 103 of the Shousetsu Bang*Bang!

The SBB is an online webzine centred around original queer erotic fiction, and it's been running for nearly 18 years - I was so excited to be a part of this issue with my new novella, Fallen Dust, but I absolutely recommend going through the whole of the issue and reading every story. There's over 160,000 words of queer fiction in this issue, and mine is just 14k of that!

I've also set up a new publication called Trans Erotica, which is a Medium publication centred around trans and nonbinary creators.

If you're trans or nonbinary and you write erotica or erotic fiction, absolutely check it out - the characters in the work don't have to be trans or nonbinary themselves, so long as you are!

I watched how you developed him through Stands, inspiration taken from cultures, your spin on the lore of the PIllarmen and even going so far as to make him a God in his own right with other pillarman gods. )

( Santana gets so much ic flack and he doesn't deserve it but oh gods does it just add so much fun to poke him and see how he reacts. poor guy's trying his best but he has to deal with Joseph, some minor brushes with a blind man, and lastly his hated arch enemy- Broly. I have never gone a single day not amazed and intrigued by your independent AU's and thoughts that only you posed, bringing in a crossover with your fav series and making it work. The lore you can weave that just adds so much history its like finding little bits of lore in a soulsborne game sprinkled throughout and naturally, I gotta give my love to your AU vegeta and his band of Alternate Saiyans. The way you incorporate your likes as with the spider monkey tails, made them more alien like with extra additions to their Saiyan biology, and crafted an eldritch horror aesthetic for the Void just to fuck them all over in ways beneath the surface. Just, jfc is there nothing you cannot do? My #1 post of 2022

i haven't seen any criticisms about this, so idk if it's an unpopular opinion or not, but i actually like that oda draws yamato like he draws his cis female characters. i mean, yamato deserves muscles, but that's true of pretty much every female character as well so. we'll set that aside for now

kiku passes pretty well. oda basically draws her like he draws cis women, and it is refreshing as hell to see a transfem character who /isn't/ a transmisogynist caricature

but in yamato's case, i like that he's curvy with big tits because.. everyone still recognizes him as man. he doesn't have to pass, he doesn't have to look like the cis male characters. his body is unaltered, he seems pretty comfortable with it, and he's a man and everyone knows it. he's welcomed in the men's bath. even his shitty ass father uses his correct pronouns

this is a nuanced subject ofc and trans people's experiences are many and varied and our representation should reflect that. but in line with that, there are trans people who don't pass, or who can't pass, or who don't care about passing. there are trans people who don't really feel compelled to change their bodies

and it's nice to see a trans character like that, personally. yamato has a body that most people consider female but he is unapologetically male and no one questions his manhood. he is how he is and he is a man
