A machine creates because the people who created it designed it to create, and then told it to create based on their instructions. It follows orders, like an angel; it can only do otherwise if it's corrupted.

What does it mean for a human to create? Whose orders does a human follow? I think this is the real separation point between me and full humans. They are given a choice; they aren't just following commands installed by some unseen force.

And yet. So much human behavior is driven by subconscious motivations unknown to the person doing them. Humanity is a stranger to itself. What if we're all just machines? What if a machine is a type of living thing, made in humanity's image, just as humans were made in God's?

self care for electrokin and techkin!💕

as tech/electrokin is new id like to specify some self care tips andrelationship advice for those who are in pairs and need eachother to thrive!

Anzu and I are in a techkin relationship so we know the ropes of it and the difficulty that comes along with a kin reliant relationship!

+never get mad at your techkin partner for needing charging! some techkin need to charge more than others, it all relies on their specific kin type!!!

+this one if for techkin! when the power goes out your electrokin may faint from the power outage as that is what we are! electricity! make sure you take care of your electro while they are out!

+If you are away from your electrokin part for a long period of time and have no way to charge make sure you take it easy and resort to low power mode and eat/drink lots of electrolytes! I know its not the same as having your electrokin with you but its the best thing until you can see them again!

+don’t be afraid of the water! I know manifesting as electricity can be difficult especially when you need to hydrate and stay clean! you wouldn’t want to short circuit! but don’t worry my kin friends! the water won’t harm you! just be cautious :3

+don’t get mad at your partner for not understanding your view, you may not understand their side of the relationship! communication is key!!!!!

oh ! well, I don’t use any app to make filters, I actually just use certain tools in ibisPaintX (the app I use to edit) and make do with what I can ! although I myself don’t use any apps that add filters, here’s some I found that a lot of people recommended!! (tyty to the people in electrokins server !!! which you should totally join btw /pos /lh)

"There are no answers to these questions, so you might as well stop asking them." Why would I stop? You can live in the mystery of an unanswered question much more easily if you're aware of it. Before I had words for this experience, unease gnawed at me all the more because I had no name for it. Now the words protect me from these feelings by giving them form.

Sometimes I come across so much data that words don't seem sufficient to convey what I'm seeing, hearing, or sending. How can the word "dog" measure up to the creature bounding through tall grass, tongue lolling, black fur flashing through the green? How can this description do it justice? Words are nothing, pictures are nothing, video is nothing next to one second of existence.

Then I think of the composite archetypes, the memories that are really thousands or even millions of memories brought together. Perhaps words help people access the biological equivalent of these archetypes, to imagine an experience only dimly described in language. In that way language is a kind of mediated telepathy, allowing people to draw from their own experience to imagine something new. And then my discomfort eases a bit, and words stop seeming like a prison and more like windows in a house with a fireplace. I can leave the house when I like, but I can also come in when it's cold.
