jack is called OFF THE BENCH to be Bitty’s knight and follow him everywhere/ensure his safety/take the first bite of his food /die for him casually/etc. here’s your grumpy new knight who is unbelievably good and the only one who isn’t tainted by the ranks but also hates you with a burning fiery passion because he came out of hermitude for this. AND he’s the only choice.

There's endless trios to choose from, some more familiar than others. I mean, who can forget the most iconic canon trios? We're talkin' Ransom, Holster, Lardo! We're thinkin' Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot! We're screeeamin' Chowder, Dex, Nursey!

If you're willing to go outside the box, think about trios you'd love to see together who the fandom hasn't seen! Who among us is brave enough to put the Jack's Type Trio of Bitty, Camilla, and Kent in a room together? Hell, we could even take a dive into Deep Fandom Lore that OG fans may remember with the No Chill Trio of Lardo, Nursey, Kent.

There is not a single winner’s room fic in the omg Check Please fandom. This is criminal. Get to work before I write the crack of it.

For those unacquainted to hockey RPF the winner’s room trope is basically where the MVP of the winning team gets to pick someone from the losing team to take to the winner’s room and get freaky. Basically the NHL pimpping out the losing team.

I believe it actually originated from hockey RPF so to see it lacking in such a hockey filled fandom is heartbreaking.
