//gia stone-faced pulls the string to one of those party poppers
" ...why are you here? My birthday? ...Stop wasting my time."
Groovification: [LOCKED]
Set to Home: ...I suppose I have no choice.
Home Transition 1: I fail to understand why anyone puts so much stock into one day.
Home Transition 2: It's early? Of course, it is. You'd be surprised what all you can accomplish in the dead of morning before everyone else rises.
Home, after login: No, I won't "rap battle" you for your alcohol. Stop asking.
Home Transition (Groovification): [LOCKED]
Tap Home 1: With the foyer all decorated, I truly have to wonder how much of this is strictly obligation.
Tap Home 2: I'd stop staring if I were you. Unless you want to lose an eye.
Tap Home 3: The Captain mentioned a surprise. I only question his intentions because of how vast his network is. It grows just about as quickly as he does.
Tap Home 4: Someone left a box with my name on it at the door. It's indiscernable who the sender is, and whether or not their motives as suspect.
Tap Home 5: The sun rises and falls like any other day. No need to lose your composure over it.
Tap Home (Groovification): [LOCKED]

gale's early access dialogue transcripts - part 3: dialogues regarding various decisions & quest progression
in early access, companions used to react much more to the decisions you made in dialogue as well as the overall quest progression pertaining to the main quest as well as side quests, and the events happening around them.
these conversations would be shorter in nature and were usually marked with an exclamation mark ( ! ) over their head.
some of these conversations survived the transition from early access to the full release, but they are very few and far between. the only ones that did survive are 1) gale's reaction to nettie poisoning the protag, 2) gale's reaction to saving mirkon, and 3) gale's reaction to saving arabella.
gale was much, much more responsive in early access and had conversations with the protag about a variety of topics.
following are all cut conversations / dialogues with gale (excluding the deer stew scene and loss scene, which i have covered here and here, but have decided to exclude because they are much longer conversations):
overview:
jergal's temple
reaching the druid's grove / emerald enclave
arabella the tiefling child dies / protag stood by and did nothing
protag killed lae'zel after lae'zel tried to prevent them from turning into a mind flayer
karlach vs anders, the paladin of tyr / agent of zariel
after edowin / the siblings brynna and andrick
killing the druids
arriving at the goblin camp
finding out that the absolute's brand is magic
about true souls
dror ragzlin & the dead mindflayer
ogre + bugbear couple in moonhaven
giving the necromancy of thay tome to gale (dialogue option in player-initiated dialogue / gale asks for tome)
on ethel
on ethel's deal
after finishing mayrina's quest
the zhentarim chest / rugan
the myconid colony in the underdark
defending astarion to gandrel the gur monster hunter
handing astarion over to gandrel the gur monster hunter
arka the tiefling (kanon's sister) kills sazza the goblin / protag stood by and watched it happen
letting sazza escape
finding out about priestess gut from sazza
below the read more, you'll find the transcripts of these 23 cut conversations.
where i can and still have them, i will include screenshots and, when i can find them online, i will include links to watch those conversation in video format.
jergal's temple [link to gifset]
Gale: Bad form, isn't it? Grave robbing? Judging by those undead guardians, the architects of this crypt certainly thought so. - Protag Option 1: I'm desperate, not proud. Best to take what I can get. Gale: Then again, to be alive is to be curious. - Protag Option 2: Dressing up the dead is pointless. They have no need for trinkets. Gale: Never lost a loved one, have you? Then again, those who loved these loved ones are dust and bones themselves. - Protag Option 3: A good fight and fine treasure. What's not to like? Gale: I suppose that's one way to spin it. - Protag Option 4: Why care about decorum in a long-abandoned tomb? Gale: Because my mother raised a gentleman. Then again, to be alive is to be curious. - Protag Option 5 [Cleric]: True. My god might not be particularly happy about it. Gale: You can pray for your sins later. I’m told that does the trick. Gale: Let's have a look at the loot. It isn't for your pockets only.
2. reaching the druid's grove / emerald enclave
Gale: So much for finding a safe haven. - Protag Option 1: This is a druid grove. With a bit of luck we'll find help here. Gale: Druids master the ancient magic that is part of nature's fabric itself. They can make bloom, and they can make wither. Let's hope the latter applies to tadpoles. - Protag Option 2: We won't linger long. Gale: And we shouldn't – but we'd be remiss not to give the place a once-over. Druids master the ancient magic that is part of nature's fabric itself. They can make bloom, and they can make wither. Let's hope the latter applies to tadpoles.
3. arabella the tiefling child dies / protag stood by and did nothing [link to gifset]
Gale: This place is a snake pit in more ways than one. That poor girl... Such sudden madness.... And what did we do? We stood by and watched. Her parents – we'll have to tell them that we failed. - Protag Option 1: Our priority remains to find a healer. The most dangerous snake is in our heads, remember? Gale: Distinctly. But it hasn't poisoned my sense of right and wrong just yet. How about yours? - Protag Option 2: We're here on Zevlor's behalf. Let's not lose sight of that. Gale: Yes, nothing like serving up a dead child as the appetiser to successful negotiations. - Protag Option 3: Her parents deserve to know what happened. And that we are not to blame. Gale: So inaction equals innocence? There's a small corpse on the floor over there that might just beg to differ. - Protag Option 4: This is none of our concern. Where there's strife, there will be blood. Gale: And where there's blood, there will be vengeance. This troubled grove is about to become far more troubled still. - [Arabella died because protag failed the DC twice] Protag Option 5: The girl really should have left the druid's idol alone. Look where it got her. Gale: If the errors of youth deserve an early grave, none of us would live to see a dozen summers. There is no justification for this tragedy.
4. protag killed lae'zel after lae'zel tried to prevent them from turning into a mind flayer
Gale: Lae'zel... that was brutal. Are you all right? I'm here if you want to talk about it. - Protag Option 1: Is there anything left to say? Gale: She was alive. Now she is dead. Might be worth a few words. Then again, maybe not. What a night... - Protag Option 2: She was danger to us all. She didn't leave me with a choice. Gale: I was not judging, merely offering my sympathy. One moment we are travelling together, then the next... - Protag Option 3: Don't bother. It's over and done with. Gale: Words as final as your acts. One moment we are travelling together, then the next...
5. karlach vs anders, the paladin of tyr / agent of zariel
Gale: I have to say I don't know if agreeing to this hunt was such a wise idea. Who's to say who's the real villain in this tale of devils and masquerades? - Protag Option 1: Cheer up! It'll be fun. Gale: Yes, I used to sign up for a round of Kill-The-Stranger every tenday back home [sarcastic]. When we track Karlach down, let's chat before we chop. - Protag Option 2: You're saying I shouldn't trust a bunch of devil-sworn pretending to be paladins of Tyr? Gale: I'm saying I really shouldn't have to point that out. When we track Karlach down, let's chat before we chop. - Protag Option 3: It's easy: I say who the villain is. Gale: My, so it's you who is Tyr then, the mighty judge of justice? Go ahead, tell them. I'm sure they'd love to fawn all over their erstwhile patron.
6. after edowin / the siblings brynna and andrick
Gale: I have to say, it's one thing to have a parasite in your head, quite another not to know it's there. What's more, these people weren't on the nautiloid with us. Just how many mind flayers are at work in these parts? - Protag Option 1: The real question is: how does this all link to their belief in this “Absolute”? Gale: Mind flayers excel -> See Option 3 - Protag Option 2: Do you really think there may be more mind flayers around? Gale: This True Soul and his acolytes are ample proof of that... They 're ample proof of a dread suspicion as well. - Protag Option 3: Let's move. I don't mean to lose daylight pondering idle questions. Gale: You really do dismiss these events too casually. - Gale: Mind flayers excel at mind games. To enthral completely is their bread and butter. What if they perfected their craft by convincing their subjects they're not thralls at all, but that they have free will? That the commandments they experience are the will of a benevolent god. How terrifying a level of perfection that would be.
7. killing the druids
Gale: If Silvanus is the mighty oak, his druids were but the weakest of his leaves, tossed by the winds of fury. I can't shake the image of what happened to the grove: the winds have blown and the harvest has come. The oak stands lone and barren. - Protag [Druid] Option 1: A grove destroyed... I dont think I can forgive myself. Gale: After winter, spring will come, but I'm not sure we left behind much fertile ground. - Protag [Druid] Option 2: The druids caused the harvest. It was only just we did the reaping. Gale: Yes, well, I prefer to pluck apples and pick strawberries. They don't tend to weigh on one's conscience. - Protag Option 3: They were in need of a lesson – and we taught it well. Gale: One usually needs to be alive to reap the benefits of education. If anything, we taught them too well. - Protag Option 4: They felt threatened and lashed out. A tragedy I wish we could have avoided. Gale: Their action are on them, that much is true, but the consequences are ours to carry - Protag Option 5: Come, let's move on. What's done is done. Gale: Look around you. What's done is done, but what's wrong is also wrong.
8. arriving at the goblin camp [link to gifset]
Gale: Amid all this grandeur sunk into squalor, I wonder what dismal corner we'll find Halsin in. - Protag Option 1: Any suggestions? Gale: Prisoners are treated the same by everyone: they serve as serfs, or they waste away in a dungeon. Stands to reason we'll find Halsin in either one of these less-than-appealing conditions. - Protag Option 2: What grandeur is that? Gale: This must have been a splendid complex once, a temple of impressive proportions. Worshippers lived here. Pilgrims visited. They required food, shelter, ceremony, entertainment. Now that it's nothing but a goblin-ridden death-trap? Plenty of places to hide away a druid, I imagine. - Protag Option 3: With our luck? Marinating in a cooking pot most likely. Gale: A hearty serving of druid stew wouldn't do us any good. No, let's hope the best and keep this in mind: Prisoners are treated the same by everyone: they serve as serfs, or they waste away in a dungeon. If he's still alive, it stands to reason we'll find Halsin in either one of these less-than-appealing conditions. Well -more-than-appealing conditions come to think of it, when one considers the stew alternative.
9. finding out that the absolute's brand is magic
Gut: Hold out your arm so I can mark your flesh. It's charged with magic. Ordinary slobs can't see it; only us that follow the Absolute. Gale: Charged with magic? Perhaps that explains the ease with which these goblins submit to True Souls.
10. about true souls
Gale: I can hardly wrap my head around what we've just heard. Let's list up the facts, shall we? There are other people here with tadpoles in their heads. They can hear the tadpoles speak to them, and they think it's a new god. I don't know about you, but to me, none of this makes any logical sense. - Protag Option 1: I concur. There doesn't seem to be a logical explanation. Gale: And yet I suspect something... intelligent behind it all. Some carefully nurtured scheme. - Protag Option 2: I'm seeing too many coincidences – which tend to add up to conspiracies. Gale: Evil cults and grand designs, is it? Mind you, I'll not even dispute the possibility. - Protag Option 3: I don't care about logic, I care about solutions. Gale: I'm not sure those are mutually exclusive. If we seek to solve we must seek to comprehend. - Gale: But let's not lose sight of what we've learned here – what joins us and what separates us from these True Souls: They heard a voice we do not hear, a voice that binds them in servitude. As long as we're possessed of our own free will, I venture to say there's hope for us yet.
11. dror ragzlin & the dead mindflayer
Gale: A grand necromantic spectacle staged at the behest of a newfangled god to track down... us. Can't quite say which of these two wins out: to be honoured or to be horrified. - Protag Option 1: The real question is: why are they looking for us? Gale: Several guesses spring to mind, all equally plausible and implausible at once. - Protag Option 2: Not to worry: we easily tricked that hobgoblin – and his god. Gale: We tricked the minion, yes, but its master? I doubt it. - Protag Option 3: Can't say I'm thrilled to be a god's pet project. Gale: Horrified it is then. - Gale: Fact is we're being hunted, but at least we have the hunters at a disadvantage: even here, in the lion's den, they don't recognise us as their prey.
12. ogre + bugbear couple in moonhaven
Gale: One moment they were embracing each other in intimacy, the next they're embracing only death. Can't say I'm proud of our actions here. - Protag Option 1: Me either. We should have left well enough alone Gale: Don't get me wrong, I know they'd have gladly made us their post-coital picnic given half a chance. It just feels wrong to turn lovemaking into life-taking. - Protag Option 2: Playing it a bit fast and loose with the word 'intimacy' there, Gale. Gale: I'm not contemplating definitions, I'm contemplating our deeds. Don't get me wrong, I know they'd have gladly made us their post-coital picnic given half a chance. It just feels wrong to turn lovemaking into life-taking. - Protag Option 3: Don't dwell on it. Ogres and bugbears are nothing but vermin. Gale: And yet they speak and bond and revel. Don't get me wrong, I know they'd have gladly made us their post-coital picnic given half a chance. It just feels wrong to turn lovemaking into life-taking.
13. giving the necromancy of thay tome to gale (dialogue option in player-initiated dialogue / gale asks for tome)
Gale: Much obliged. Narrator: you watch Gale perusing the book with a true wizard's fascination. A few pages in, something startles him. Gale: A rough read indeed... I'll give it my undivided attention at a more appropriate time.
14. on ethel
Gale: You know, I think there's a little something more to Ethel than meets the eye. 'Hag' is the word they used. If that's what she really is, she's beyond dangerous. - Protag Option 1: If that's what she is, that means we killed two innocent men. Gale: But theit sister still lives. And I doubt Auntie has her over for tea and conversation. - Protag Option 2: Hags are powerful creatures. She might actually be able to help us with the parasite. Gale: See Option 3 - Protag Option 3: She hinted at a reward. That's all I really care about. Gale: Beware of a hag bearing gifts. They're never gifts to begin with.
15. on ethel's deal
Gale: Netherese. A portentous word. Combine it with mind flayers, and it's... unspeakable. - Protag Option 1: What do you make of it all? Gale: What we can do is combine what we know and make our deductions. At the heart of it all, the problem is clear: we've been infected by a mind flayer parasite. So far, however, we've been spared the dread fate that is ceremorphosis. How have we been spared? It would seem the answer is that the parasite is somehow infused with Netherese magic – more powerful, more sinister than it has any right to be. The question remains, however: why? Infected, but unchanging. Blind cogs in an all-seeing machine. - Protag Option 2: If even a hag can't help us, who can? Gale: I... I actually don't know. All we can do is combine what we know and make our deductions- See Option 1 - Protag Option 3: It's all gibberish as far as I'm concerned. Gale: No, there's meaning to it. There has to be. All we can do is combine- See Option 1 - Protag Option 4: None of this actually solves our problems. Gale: I know, but let's consider this: at the heart of it all, not only is our problem clear, but so is the motive of our enemy: power. All power has a nexus. Find it, and we may just find both the answers and the remedy we seek. - Protag Option 5: Get to the point if you have one. Gale: I was merely thinking out loud, but if you desire a point, consider this: See Option 4 - Protag Option 6: Enough talk. Let's go. Gale: Fine, but while we walk, consider this: See Option 4
16. after finishing mayrina's quest [link to gifset]
Gale: Hags really do redefine depravity, don't they? A promise kept in the cruellest of ways: a loved one returned, undead. - Protag Option 1: This entire affair sickens me. I wish we'd had no part in it. Gale: We don't always choose the roles we play. All we can do is perform them to the best of our ability. [Connor killed] At least the curtain's fallen on this tragedy. The lovers' tale is quite over. [Connor alive] Can't say I'm very enthusiastic though, about the extra you just cast. - Protag Option 1: Hags thrive on corruption. It is simply their nature Gale: A nature that, as far as I'm concerned, deserves to go extinct. [Connor killed] As extinct as the happiness Ethel cut out of Mayrina. [Connor alive] So does that abhorrent thing-once-man. For god's sake let his eternal sleep be free of this undead nightmare. - Protag Option 3: You have to admit Auntie Ethel knows how to have some fun. Gale: [disapproves] You can't possibly mean that. [Connor killed] In any case, the man's dead for good. The spectacle has come to a close. Fun's over. [Connor alive] Although, judging by the newest company you've decided to keep, you may just be depraved enough yourself to mean that after all.
17. the zhentarim chest / rugan
Gale: So you threatened your way into ownership of that chest. Now that it's yours, what will you do with it? - Protag Option 1: I say we hold on to it until we find the rightful owner. Gale: So that means you're not curious as to what's inside? Very well, suit yourself... - Protag Option 2: Let's seell it. We're bound to make a tidy profit. Gale: See Option 1 - Protag Option 3: I will do what is meant to be done with a sealed chest: open it. Gale: Music to my curious ears!
18. the myconid colony in the underdark [link to gifset]
Gale: Spores that can raise the dead... These myconids certainly are fascinating creatures. Protag Option 1: They make for good allies. Gale: Agreed. And there are precious few of those in the Underdark. - Protag Option 2: They're more dangerous than I thought. We should be on our guard. Gale: They will remain welcome hosts unless we turn hostile. Should be easy enough to avoid. - Protag Option 3: Sorry, but I don't share your fascination for fungi. Gale: Nobody's perfect.
19. defending astarion to gandrel the gur monster hunter [link to youtube video]
[Protag defends Astarion] Gale: How thoroughly invigorating it is to stand by one's friend in the face of danger. Even if that friend is an egomaniacal vampire with moral longevity of a mayfly. - Protag Option 1: We did the right thing and that's all there is to it. Gale: It's charming that you think that. - Protag Option 2: Are you saying that you would have thrown Astarion to the wolves? Gale: Never. What harm did the wolves ever do? - Protag Option 3: I'll remember you skepticism if anyone ever comes looking for you. Gale: ?
20. handing astarion over to gandrel the gur monster hunter
[Protag hands Astarion over to Gandrel the Gur Monster Hunter] Gale: I had a friend who had a dog once. Beautiful animal, but it got mean in its old days. Gale: It would growl and bark at everyone. Even bit him at the end. Gale: Yet still it was the saddest of occasions when he took the dog away for good. - Protag Option 1: It was for the best, I'm sure. Gale: I'm not sure the dog would agree. Gale: Astarion wouldn't. I'm absolutely sure of that. - Protag Option 2: Parting is never easy. Gale: ? - Protag Option 3: Put the mongrel down, did he? Gale: ?
21. arka the tiefling (kanon's sister) kills sazza the goblin / protag stood by and watched it happen [link to gifset]
Gale: Arka's thirst for revenge has been sated... and the goblin welcomed death with open arms. All's well with the world one might argue. And yet there's something unsettling about witnessing an execution. - Protag Option 1: I take no pleasure in it, but justice has been done. Gale: No one will mourn this goblin I suppose. Let's leave it at that. - Protag Option 2: Somehow that sounds a condemnation. Gale: I condemn nothing - but a question can be a mirror: Gale: If it's guilt you see reflected, the condemnation is your own. - Protag Option 3: I have no patience for the squeamish. Gale: You imply a weakness. I say a critical mind is one of our greatest strengths.
22. letting sazza the goblin escape
Gale: I know I said it's not inconceivable a goblin priestess could help us. And yet... was it really wise to set another goblin free so she can arrange introductions? - Protag Option 1: Passing up the promise of a healer would be far more unwise. Gale: A perfectly reasonable train of thoughts. But what if she leads her entire tribe to the grove? - Protag Option 2: What's done is done. Doubt doesn't help us. Gale: I'm not quite done yet. What if she leads her entire tribe to the grove? - Protag Option 3: Keep your misgivings to yourself. Gale: But consider the consequences. What if she leads her entire tribe to the grove? -> Protag Option 1: I'll make sure that doesn't happen Gale: I'm not sure you can. - Protag Option 2: Getting rid of the tadpole comes first. Otherwise we might be the monsters that destroy this place. Gale: Harsh. But fair. If not given too much further thought. - Protag Option 3: I don't care, I owe this grove no allegiance. Gale: No allegiance, no. Though we don't need to sign its death warrant.
23. finding out about priestess gut from sazza
Gale: Booyahg – the goblin word for magic. Primitive to a fault, but not entirely without merit. To seek some goblin priestess' help would be unconventional to say the least. Then again, I'm not one to advocate conventionality. - Protag Option 2: A goblin healer sounds absurd to me. Gale: I wouldn't dismiss the idea out of hand. Goblins come from a warrior culture: to heal wounds is a highly prized skill. - Protag Option 1: I don't care if a cure comes from a goblin, an ogre, or an orc: as long as it works, I'm happy. Gale: My sentiments exactly. - Gale: If this priestess is indeed a master in the arts of booyahg, it's not inconceivable she could be of help to us. And if she isn't, we might find items of interest among her shamanic paraphernalia. If her tribe doesn't kill us on sight, that is.

Tieflings DnD - variations for the fanfic writers and artists!! -
There’s a lot about tieflings on the internet. THESE ARE CANON, except for one thought i put in.
If you’re gonna do BG3 fanfics about Tieflings, please please please consider adding some spice with origin lore and CANON facts about their race :) it would be SO fun!
Pls I need more zevlor fanfic too.
PLS READ: I don’t believe in censorship or ignoring the subject of people who are oppressed, but be mindful of how you write and use oppression of dnd races on your tav pls.
- Orange; Canon Historical Events, Abilities, Bodily Facts, and Bloodlines. It means i think you should look into it.
Pink: I think it's cute. Red; Warning, Comment Purple; Headcanon (only one of them)
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; <3 ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
- Tieflings are prone to bad luck, because of the Curse of Aasimar.
- Planar Proverb “don’t ever make a bet with a Tiefling” hey I already made one with Lakrissa.
- They’re arcanally gifted, most of them. Zariel Tieflings are much better melee fighters.
.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.
- Tielfling Blood; is tainted from the hells so they could have human parents. Be descendants of demon, devils, evil deities, night hags, and succubus!
- i know y’all love aphrodisiac fanfics, succubus spittle is exactly what you need dawg. Someone make me a fanfic including succubus heritage.
- along with that, Tieflings are unable to breed with anyone except humans or other Tieflings. Literally. They can be Tiefling or human.
- Usually there is some tell to if they’re Zariel, Asmodeus, Mephistopheles by birth mark, or traits like cat eyes, or night hags bloodlines have red eyes without pupils or scelaras
EDIT: I thought the flaming pupils were cat-like slit eyes in the game, but Karlach does indeed have regular slits!
- Tieflings can be male, female, or without gender. It is a canon fact. A win for my gender struggling homies.
- They can have green, blue, purple, pink, yellow, red skin tones. With dark hair colors only like black, purple, dark red and blue. I don’t care for this, genes be gene-ing so have any color you want.
Mephestopheles is recorded as to having blue skin, pale blue whites and red eyes, soot black scales, with large wings in the 2nd Manual. BUT in a 3e version he is described having red skin, bat wings, being 9ft, with white eyes, and slick black hair. Both of these are present in Mephestophic Bloodlines in BG3. Raphael is the son, though cambion, is red.
Asmodeus rules the Nine Hells. Mephestopheles being his archduke, only rules the 8th layer. Asmodeus has a humanoid, and a scale-fiend version of himself. He's red, slim, 13ft tall, horned, vibrant red eyes, and a neatly trimmed beard. He is Lawful-Evil.
.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.
The Blood War (where Karlach escaped) is described as a "philosophical war" and which kind of evil would rule. Asmodeus plays a part but didn't start it, it's rooted in ancient Hell conflicts. Asmodeus claimed it was a senselessly bloody conflict from a militia standpoint. He really hates it, he's not a fan of it. INFERNAL POLITICS ARE FUCKING COMPLICATED. look into it :)
Zevlor was a Hellrider or Rider of Elturel! a Cavalry unit for Elturel during the 14th and 15th century. They ride horseback, and use spears and bows. They're well reguarded!! Zevlor should have more pride in himself for his service, being a refugee isn't his fault, or The Descent.
In the late 1400's striving for Paladin Knighthood in the Order of Companion was a rank of Hell rider. Before and after the year 1494, you could be a Paladin and join freely.
The Order of Companions was an Elturel, of Western Heartland, theocratic realm of Paladin Knighthood. It's just a region of Paladins that are highly reguarded. They typically worship Tyr, Torm, Helm, and Aumanator.
They kept order in the high capital of Elturel, preserving local civilization from outer destruction. They're super Lawful Good.
Typically an Oath of Devotion or an Oath of the Crown.
"For a City Guard, they outmatched the armies of the Whole Realm" - Forgotten Wiki Realms
They guard general land, they aren't really police, and can escort as far as Waterdeep if privileged to. It is a job they hold for life. I FUYCKING LOVE HELLRIDERS.
Shortly after Elturel’s descent into Avernus, the Tieflings were blamed for the fall, and expelled from the city entirely. Zevlor and any tiefling hellrider’s title has been stripped from them. Any hellrider’s were arrested at The Gate. And the reputation of tieflings sunk even lower.
Badlurian’s are Elturian’s rivals but Duke Ravenguard was tricked into coming to Elturel for politics and ended up helping and sending in troops to help fight. He’s extra important! I might find Wyll, all though lovely, useless, his father is very brave and noble and amazing for what he does.
.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.
- Tieflings can have feathers! Although rare. They can have fur, scales, or be bald like humans. They can be any variation of sorts!
- A more common portrayal of tieflings, is having solid colored eyes, whites and irises the same color. They can be black, red, silver, gold, or white.
- Tieflings are technically minorities and don’t live in the highest neighborhoods. It gives them an even worse reputation.
- Most of the Tieflings with famous status, also give bad reps. Climbing their way to the top in corruption.
- When Tieflings get nervous, experience anxiety, or are upset. They’re known to wrap their tails around their leg!! Super telling.
- They can use their tail like a monkey, very dexterous about it. It’s about 5-6ft long.
- Their ages, weight, height. All similar to humans. Idk how logical that is with 5 extra feet of meat behind them. Sometimes they can live longer, to about 120-150 years old.
- Tieflings can look just like humans. Though they can have their hellish features, those with strong hellish features are often killed at birth out of disgust.
- They can also have legs of a goat, tail akin to a horse or a lizard.
- Tieflings can be really good at thieving, hiding, and deceit.
- their diet consists of meat, marrow, gristle, fat, and bones. They’re highly carnivorous. They even eat roasted insects.
- Many worship Besheba, the goddess of bad luck, finding similarities in them and their goddess.
.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.
- Tieflings are as sensitive as humans, same hearing. They usually have dark vision. And their body temperatures can be colder or warmer than humans depending on their type of tainted blood. --Mephistopheles blood lines are from the frozen layer of hell, maybe their blood is colder.
- They don’t purr, sorry girlies. They’re closer to humans than Tabaxis or Driders.
- Tieflings don’t regrow horns unless they’re still young, though they do tend to file them down.
- They have a natural unsettling aura about them. Even if their heritage is unknown to others, it makes people uncomfortable. They also can smell of sulphur.
.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.
- There are so many Tieflings bloodlines. I love the Babau Tieflings bc they’re already known as uncanny creatures-- Babau Tieflings are gaunt and skinny, darker skin, and a small horn coming from the back of their head.
- Marilith Tieflings are known to be seductive- more than they already are, and have dark hair. They have snake-like half-bodies and have grey tongues.
- Succubus Tieflings! They’re like the ones you see in bg3, often have a small set of wings.
- Tieflings can have so many fucking variations it makes me dizzy.
- Tieflings can have bat-like wing shaped ears, that perk up and shit. I know yall think about ear movements. <zevlor has this>
.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.
Edit: Ya'll loved this :) I can do another on Tiefling politics if ya'll want. Or more bloodlines and fun facts if you want.
I have built another list of Canon facts about Driders and Kar'niss Headcanons if you monster fuckers are interested!!
Currently in the works; He Who Was Headcanons and Shadar'Kai canon facts and events.

Now that BvZ6 is FINALLY out…I am pleased to announce the halfway mark for Gen 3!
We have 3 eps left for Pandora and Birds of Valhalla and 6 eps left for Bastards vs Zombies! With all that out there, I'm sure a few of you are wondering what Gen 4 is looking like!
Originally, the plan was for Gen 4 to have 3 series, like this gen. Each one with a recognizable face from prior gens, barring Gen 1.
However, this has proved to be a source adding to my burnout in previous instances, being constantly stuck in 3 or 4 voices constantly. So, I've changed things up a bit! Instead for Gen 4, I'll be doing 6 series! First will be a new series with brand new characters, then I'll go back to a classic after that one is done and I'll continue that pattern until completion!
On paper, it sounds like I'm giving myself more work, and I might be, but remember that I'm not giving myself any time limit on this. Each series is ultimately its own thing and I'll be working on them all at my own pace.
Here's the order of things and series descriptions. (Some of these are working titles)
Gladiator Azul - 8 combatants, (me and 7 other VAs) will compete in a 1v1 tournament to the death in order to be granted a wish. The location is the planet Palta, which is a location a few of my lore nerds will pick up on~ The best part about this story, is that it's a complete mystery, even to me, who's going to win! It's completely decided by chance, but a chance influenced by the viewers through cryptic clues~
Magic of the Heart 2: Curse of Khan (This was Blind Snake. I didn't like the name) - You are a Lamia, the remnants of the Snake Titan's soul. You've been brought into this world by your beloved lord, Nosferatu. One day, he tasks you to become a double agent by staging an escape for you and a captured wizard that you might be quite familiar with. When you and Zed "escape" from Nosferatu, you must make a decision, betray Nosferatu, or betray Zed…
Dragonslayers - You are the squire to the most esteemed Knight under the Paladin King. The Knight Grand Champion, Sirius Gearfried. You've gone on adventures together for 5 years now and you're about to go on your biggest one yet! The Paladin King has tasked his most trusted knight with gathering up the strongest warriors from across the realm for a dangerous mission into the unknown reaches of Dragonspace!
Loki and the War of Sinn - More will be talked about this at a later date, but before you ask, yes it's gonna have Odin and Tyr. And yes, you will be Loki.
Alchemical Strawberry Cheesecake - We now go BACK to Manas for a bit of magical melodrama! You are entered into a cooking competition at Saurethol Academy! You're partnered up with a boy named Vemmy, who thought this extra-curricular would be an easy A. Now, he's in a high-stakes contest, travelling to different schools all over the world and is VERY in over his head…
Bastards vs Monsters - A couple of years have gone by. The threats have gotten more dangerous, but so have you.

ASMR Rant pt. 5: Thoughts after binging Good Boy Audios
First ~ Previous ~ Next
*limps into room, fur matted in some places* *looks up* It was a lot to consume- BUT IT WAS WORTH IT KYAA- Strap innnnnnnn or turn back now, it's another long one.
... Actually, please turn back, this ended up being ridiculously long-
Good Boy Audios: That's a lie by the way, he's not a good boy in the slightest, that is misinformation at its finest-
Mental state: RELEASE ME FROM THY CONFINES, YE BRITISH VAS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
Favorite series: Bastards vs. Zombies, Bastard Warrior, MotH (F R A N K), Birds of Valhalla, Pandora (FATHERRRRRRRRRRR)
Series I thought I'd dislike but ended up loving: Bastards vs. Zombies (I am not gonna lie, I thought it was gonna be overhyped, I was so freaking wrong, THIS SERIES IS AMAZINGGGGGG)
Random thoughts:
So here's how I've been devouring channels lately:
The main thing is that it depends on how many videos it has. If it doesn't have too many, I'll start by watching any one-shots first, then move on to the series. If it has a lot of videos, I start by watching the series first (usually the shortest ones first, but I'll jump around a bit if there's nothing connecting), then move on to the one-shots and any other videos after. In both cases, I always save the most popular series or the series I see everyone talk about last (idk why exactly yet).
Right, now that that random tidbit is out of the way, onto the meat of this thing. 387 VIDEOS. RIGHT THEN. LONG BINGE INDEED.
*starts Birds of Valhalla* *smacks bell* I HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFULLY LURED IN-
Ok so the island is connected to other GBA stories... the sword they found is connected to Space Pirates, I don't know about the telescope yet?? Maybe the Pandora series or the Fourseen?
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE THIS SERIES. I am struggling with my 8-year-old, mythological-obsessed self however- "Ok, so he said Ulysses and Neptune, so we're clearly going with the Roman version of the names. WHY DID HE SAY HADES INSTEAD OF PLUTO THEN???" "Kid, just enjoy the story-" "HE JUST SAID POSEIDON- WHICH VERSION ARE WE DOING-"
Wait so Mad Crow showed up in the Querian Saga too???
OKAY- I like how Tyr asked what the Listener's name means. I'm the same way with other people's names, it's so interesting to find out what they mean, what the origin is, and it adds another layer to the person for me.
"There you go, kid, now you know why they switch between names. Happy?" "Yes, carry on-"
Frank. Frank I love you Frank. Frank my boy.
WAIT WHY IS EVERYONE SO CUTE KYAAAAAAAAA *DIES*
Oh I know that laugh, haha hi Escaped-
Um- 29:11, Wizard Detective pt. 2, amazing acting, my heart is in pieces. No I'm being so serious, this is my favorite audio series from him right now. Story's great, but the acting is wrenching my heartstrings, this is incredible. Yep, I'm about to cry, I hate y'all-
Yeah that was around three in the afternoon, 6 hours later and I'm currently trying to not ruin my notes by crying so THANKS GB, REALLY APPRECIATE IT.
"... well that was racist." *WHEEZES AND DIES*
*actively sobbing at the second loss of Frank, I'm fine, frick you-*
Ok finished Magic of the Heart, we're FINE, we're so fine, omg we're so freaking chill. Bro I still have three more series to finish-
*makes it to Space Pirates Season 2* *Lyr mentions vampire wars* *slight pause, keeps working* "My name is Servoss-" *sets down pen* "I'm sorry-" *grabs Querian Saga and shakes it* "W H A T - WHAT-"
SO IS EVERYTHING CONNECTED??????? Because Birds of Valhalla had the boys finding items from Fourseen and Space Pirates, Space Pirates has Servoss from the Querian Saga, I know Mad Crow is one of the BvZ characters but he also showed up in the Querian Saga, I think Magic of the Heart referenced Fourseen with the Time Wheel mention in the secret ending?????
OK SOUNDTRACK.
Oh frick, DB's in here too!
So Part 11 of Space Pirates, I'm scared, how dark is this going to get- Oh, Kalamos has gone mad for real- oh. Ok then. *grabs GB by the collar* "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU-"
WHAT DO YOU MEAN SERVOSS NAMED ONE OF HIS KIDS LOYAL. WHAT DO YOU MEAN. WHAT IS THIS.
I love how my entire mindset for Space Pirates was "what the actual heck is happening-"
Ok sick intro for Bastard Warrior...
Ayyyy, there's the king, hi Saku- *absolutely dying at Devlin and Albus greeting each other-*
OH MY GOSH ALBUS- over here clutching my pearls DAYUM-
"Isn't there some kind of old-world deity that can walk on water? Guess what I am!" "I think- are you talking about Naruto-" *CRITICAL DAMAGE, I'M WHEEZING-*
Ookay then... I guessed Albus had trauma, but it has to run deep if a kiss on the cheek sets him off...
... Oh Albus... oh poor Albus...
DANG IT ALBUS IS PROTECTIVE OF DEVLIN AND DOESN'T WANT HIM TO BE ABANDONED AND DEVLIN WANTS TO BE ALL CONFIDENT LIKE HOW HE SEES ALBUS AND HE WANTS ALBUS AND FAITHFUL TO BE HAPPY I HATE THEM SO MUCH I LOVE THEMMMMMMM
*hears Albus deciding to get possessed by the sword* "You're such a f*cking idiot-" "YOU F*CKING IDIOT-" "THAT'S WHAT I SAID-"
Literally nothing is more emotionally damaging to me than a well-placed song being used in the background of a tense scene. Can y'all please leave my heart alone at midnight, gosh-
Okay, finally on BvZ, let's finally understand what everyone's talking about-
*IMMEDIATELY LATCHING ONTO HIPSWITCH* Listen, I'm a Star Wars fangirl, liking droid bounty hunters comes with the territory-
Hooray, the kid's got trauma too- WTH IS UP WITH THE DOC- HELP- GOSH DARN IT AND HE'S MUTE, HE CAN'T TELL HIPSWITCH WHAT JUST HAPPENED- OH THANK YOU HIPSWITCH I LOVE YOU-
BRO YOU GOT A THEME SONG FOR THIS- okay I need to quit, thoughts are adfdsfljsdfjsd- oh SPARE ME SWEET CHAOS-
... ok there's a lot of things I want to say about this series but I'm going to sum this up as THIS IS DELICIOUSSSSSSSSSS-
See, I honestly thought Mahatma/Attilla was going to end up being the bad guy in this series alongside Mad Crow, glad to know I'm wrong?
Respectfully, I'd like to get to know Hipswitch more, that's all.
Oh- oh dear, not Sensei bringing up Faithful- OKAY HIPSWITCH- NO HE'S GOTTA KILL HIS TEACHER ARE YOU KIDDING ME- BRO WHY YOU BRINGING FAITHFUL INTO THISSSSSSS-
*currently lying down with a washcloth over my face cuz my skin flared up* "If I had to guess what my blunder was-" *SHOOTING UP IMMEDIATELY* "DEVLINNNNNNNNNNNNN-"
RESPECTFULLY- SIR-
DOC IS NOT DEAD HE'S NOT DEAD HE'S NOT DEAD PLEASE- YESSSSSSSSS LET'S GO-
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YES YES YES YES YES FAITHFUL AND KERANO MY BABYYYYYYYYYYYY- AND WHO THE HECK IS DEV SEEING-
HOLD UP WHO'S THIS NEW LADY, SHE SOUNDS FINEEEEE-
HOW DOES MAD CROW FIT INTO ALL OF THISSSSSSSSSSSSS- HOW DID BRO COME OVER FROM THE QUERIAN SAGA-
... no comment on Mad Crow's question, no comment at all-
Um- ok question??? How did we go from Devlin meeting up with Albus in the last episode and them being fine to Devlin now thinking that Albus is Kravitas HELLO PLEASE WHAT IS GOING ON- oh. Oh no...................... ARE YOU KIDDING MEEEEEE I HATE THIS SERIES WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY-
Ok, overall opinion- writing is great, though I think I need to rewatch the Querian Saga and Space Pirates, those kinda flew over my head a bit, but at least I now understand how Fern's Break of Dawn came about- humor is EXCELLENT, and acting is stellar from everyone that was involved in these- AND great use of music too. And points for making me cry. Very very satisfied with this one...
I am so sorry this is so long, if you made it this far bravo, but why are you here-
EDIT: OH MY GOD HE HAS AN HOUR LONG LORE VIDEO SWEET CHAOS PRAISE THIS IS WHAT I DREAM OF- omg it is all connected I need to rewatch everything now goddammit-
#good boy audios#audio roleplay#asmr rant#the stray cat's yowling again my bad#like- extremely loudly at 3 am this time-#again wrote this in real time i'm gonna start doing it like this more lol#very long rant i am so sorry for yapping this much-#still need to finish the oneshots but YESSIRRRRRRRRRR THIS WAS AMAZING.#watching a potentially drunk British man explaining the lore of his universe to me and my feeble tiny insignificant mind is being blown-#never mind he's not drunk just tired i figured cuz he's been slinging that bottle for 10 minutes ain't nothing in there sir-

Florrickology, Part 4: Florrick, Wyll, Ulder, and Character Assassination
We all know it, we all hate it. They did my beloved dirty, used her to shit all over Wyll's quest at what should be a climactic moment, and I will never forgive never forget it.

In Act 3, if Wyll rejects Mizora's offer to rescue his father from the Iron Throne in favor of keeping his pact broken, Florrick will ambush the party, inform them that "Lady Mizora" told her what he did, and seek retribution unless talked down.
This is stupid, makes no sense, assassinates Florrick's character for no good reason, and represents some of Larian's laziest NPC writing--unsurprisingly, in the midst of Wyll's personal quest, and smack dab in what's supposed to be the climax of one of the longest quests in the game.
As I said in previous posts, Florrick being willing to go to the mat for Ulder any day or time of the week is consistent with her other characterization.
Up to the point of this confrontation, the player has observed that she'll follow Ulder to literal hell and back, chase him across half a continent, and become so disappointed in her perceived failure to save him and, by extension, the entire city, that she completely gives up and quietly awaits execution, without even trying to escape (which she probably could do, as a level 11, probably Enchantment School wizard).
All her voice lines and all the things others say about her paint the picture of a loyal and true-blue friend, and a public servant of the highest caliber, "as steady as Tyr's heartbeat" and "as upstanding as the Sword Mountains." She may be sharp and shrewd, and perhaps a bit domineering and curt, but she's not cruel. She may be a bit cavalier, but she's never rash.
She's not stupid. She may be more emotional than she seems.
She has killed someone before, on the spot, for coming after Ulder. It's consistent that she would do it again, even if she had to hunt them down this time and risk being caught by the Steel Watch. In her mind, she has nothing left to lose.
What is not consistent is her being willing to kill Wyll on a flimsy accusation (that she doesn't even really believe if you read her thoughts).
Now as I've mentioned, Florrick doesn't seem to feel any particular way about Wyll; she seems to regard him simply as her friend and boss' son, just a good kid she patted on the head at parades, and when they meet again in Waukeen's Rest, as a valuable asset in rescuing Ulder and saving the city.
And I like this! It highlights that Ulder was Wyll's entire world, and it was Ulder, alone, who failed him and cast him aside. I think this is also part of why there's never any indication that Florrick and Ulder are/were romantically involved, because this would change the expectations for how she treats/feels about Wyll. But as it stands, simply being a woman in the vicinity of a child, even one in need, didn't obligate her to be a mother.
And this the feeling is mutual. In-game, there's also no indication that Wyll had or desired had any sort of personal relationship with her, as he talks about her accomplishments but not, say, seeking her out for advice or spending time with her. He mentions crushing on Stellmayne, but when asked about Florrick, he goes right to "yeah she fucks, she sniped a guy right in front of me once." He only regards her in relation to his father and the city, never himself. She's his dad's confidant and advisor, and an exemplary public servant, but nothing in particular to him.
So, it's not how Florrick feels about Wyll that makes it out of character for her to attack him, but because of how she knows Ulder feels about Wyll.
She says herself, when talked down in that confrontation, that Ulder wanted her to find Wyll and pass his birthright on if he fell, because as many mistakes as Ulder made, and as wrong as he was, and as unacceptable as his behavior was, in the end, he trusted his boy with the fate of his beloved city.
So, Florrick would never betray Ulder by attacking his son, without irrefutable evidence, especially when she'd been told explicitly to trust and help Wyll by the person she respects and reveres the most in the entire world.
As one of the most prominent NPCs in the game, appearing with a fairly significant role in all three acts, and who's been demonstrated to be an unquestionable heroic figure all along, Florrick deserved better than what she got in this blatantly lazy, formulaic scene.
And that's the answer to the question of 'why is this scene so bad?' - lazy, formulaic writing.
That's also probably the answer to any 'why is this Act 3 moment and/or NPC interaction so clunky?' question. This confrontation is Like That because it's how every every NPC Confrontation is: someone is willing to kill you for variably logical reasons, unless you talk your way out of it, and the end result is only nominally different, so it was pointless from the jump. It's the illusion of drama and conflict and a plot twist, not real drama and conflict and plot twist. Of course she (andWyllcoughcough) isn't safe from the "uh oh this game isn't done but we're shipping it anyway so we better make this story beat messy, both under-and over-whelming, and confusing to match the overall tone of Act 3" curse.
So you might then move on to, "okay, well, what's the in-universe explanation for this? How can we make it make sense, considering what we know about Florrick?"
I won't give them credit for implying anything they didn't bother to imply, even though they could have gone several other routes with about 2 lines of better dialogue and a simple animation. So, I think the only true, canonical reason Florrick does this is exactly what's presented in the text. She was approached by "Lady" Mizora, a stranger, told a lie, only half-believed it, slapped a fuckass hood on over her very distinctive freakum dress, went on the hunt, and ambushed the party in front of like 50 human, 5 cat, and 3 Steel Watch witnesses even though she's a fugitive marked for execution.
That's it. There's no further context. Again, nothing implied. As you can tell by this entire series, I will read into anything, and there's simply nothing to read into here.
No indication that Mizora charmed or is controlling Florrick, a simple explanation that could have been easily been introduced with about 1 line, a special effect, and a mocap of her "snapping out of it."
No revelation that "Lady" Mizora has been posing as a patriar and pulling strings in Baldur's Gate for the last seven years, working closely with and maybe kissin haha jk... unless Florrick, making it perfectly reasonable why she'd believe Mizora over Wyll, who's been not only missing BUT cavorting with devils for those same seven years, which is ironic because Florrick had unknowingly been doing the same thing (juicy!). (more thoughts on this)
There's not even really a feeling that Florrick, who again did all that mentioned above for Ulder and her city, is simply just so heartbroken and grieving and demoralized that she's experiencing a mental breakdown and a critical lapse in judgement, grasping at anything to make it make sense or to make her feel in control again, even if she has her doubts deep down. Again, this could have easily been written in with a few lines and some body language. I feel like this is what they thought they did, but the fact is they didn't even though it would have been easy and cost basically 0 extra resources or time.
Clearly, this scene got rubber-stamped because they (painfully correctly) assumed that nobody would care about Wyll's storyline at this point, and his supporting character Florrick with it. They probably just figured that we'd all forget how wack it was when we continued the quest and got gagged by the Emporer being a gay dragon-fucker and also Balduran.
So, what would have made this scene/part of the quest better?
To be clear, better is a pretty low bar as the canonical version full-on sucks. The above suggestions are only what could have made this specific scene (Florrick Confronts Wyll About Killing His Father) better. But really, Wyll's quest, as we all know, needs an overhaul. So, below is what's overall needed to make Wyll's entire quest in Act 3 better.
maintain Florrick's characterization (this post is about Florrick after all)
give Wyll a chance to be a hero in his own story
actually utilize Mizora, who's truly been pretty pointless all this time
provide a sense of stakes--it has to matter what happens
get everything the fuck away from that fucking magic show
I had a whole alternative Act 3 storyline written to suggest, Boss Fight Mizora Avernus and all, but realized just before posting that it doesn't work because it ends with Wyll destroying his pact, and he does sort of need that to remain a warlock for the endgame (being forced to re-class at the 11th hour would be a bit of a bold move). But trust me it was cool and better than what we got.

Come What May.

Name: Sirius Viera
Gender: male(he/him)
Height: 5’8
Role: protector of the Clergy’s records and graveyard keeper
Relations: Kaisarion Peacefield, Silas Straight, Vireyla Cirice, Zenith Juturna, Sirocco, Vireo, Sister Mercy, Cardinal Val, Copia, Terzo, Phantom. (will be added too)
Species: Quintessence ghoul
//Hello!! It’s nice to see you here :3 this is my ghoul oc- named Sirius! He’s a quintessence ghoul, and is still quite young(so nothing nsfw!!), at least, in ghoul years. Now- while he is one of my Ghost ocs- he’s also apart of my own story that’s Ghost inspired. So- I’ll give you a run down of what I created- then his role in the Clergy and all that!//
So- I’ll try to explain best I can, but I have a scattered thought process so sorry if I go off topic or anything like that
Characters related to Sirius
Okay- so. Let’s start with Kaisarion Peacefield. Kaisarion is a descendant from the Tribus Sapientia, and is the son of war General Liora Peacefield, and grew up with her on the battlefield. Where’s his dad? ..good question..moving on. Kaisarion, in “modern” day within the Imperium, is one of the rulers, his title being that of Frater Imperator. He’s also called The Father Of Make Believe
Next- Silas Straight! Silas is a descendant from the Dan Utvalda, and is the Imperium’s top Surgeon/Scientist. He’s head of the medical field, and one of the members of the Concilium Ordinis. He has no other titles than Dr. Straight- which he prefers over his first name.
Virelya Cirice- Soror Imperator- the co-ruler of the Imperium. Again- same with Sirius, I’m still expanding on her. She’s a descendant from Tribus Ignus- and has direct control over Concilium Flux. She’s also the first Soror Imperator to be openly Lesbian- which was a highly controversial topic at the time(DONT WORRY THE IMPERIUM IS PAST THAT- I BASED SOME OF THE IMPERIUM’S HISTORY OFF OF REAL HISTORY). Some of her titles- besides Soror Imperator- are Mother Superior and The Queen Of The Dark
Zenith Juturna- oh. I love this guy. Okay- so, there’s so much to this- but he’s technically a ghoul now- but he wasn’t born a ghoul- he was turned. By who? Silas. I question Straight’s choices sometimes. Anyways. Zenith knew Sirius before he himself turned ghoul- and after his community was ambushed and raided, most of the population being killed- he was morally wounded. He tried to follow Sirius as Sirius ran from the destruction, and followed him all the way back to the Imperium- where Silas found him. Silas told him that he could patch up his wounds- but when he had Zenith unconscious, he injected him with ghoul dna. This made Zenith’s healing faster- but by the gods did this hurt him at the same time. Growing horns, tail, and claws isn’t exactly the most comfortable process. Zenith hated Silas for this- hated his very being. So when Zenith escaped- he nearly wiped out all of the Imperium- and almost killed both Sirius and Silas. Though to make a long story short- he redeemed himself eventually and Sirius now sees Zenith as a brother.
The world Sirius lives in
Right- so now you’re probably wondering what tf is a Tribus Sapientia, or the Dan Utvalda, or Tribus Ignus- so I’ll try to explain in the briefest way possible lol
Tribus Sapientia- a tribe to the North that worshiped the deity Baphomet- they held wisdom above all else
Tribus Ignus- a tribe to the South that worshiped Eris and Hermes- holding chaos and the sense of self above all else
Dan Utvalda- a tribe that worshiped Forseti and Tyr- holding order and battle above all else(think Sparta- just Swedish ig)
Now- you might also be wondering what this war I keep referring to is- and as I did with the tribes- I’ll give the bullet points lol.
The Imperium started out as these three different tribes- though they were all divided, Tribus Sapientia being in the North, Tribus Ignus to the South, and the DU to the West
. The DU wanted control of the Tribus Ignus and the Tribus Sapientia due to seeing how advanced they were, but the two tribes refused to join the DU- so the DU started a war, now called the War Of Absolution.
The TS and the TI came out on top in the war and took control of the DU, having them sign a peace treaty and eventually forming the Imperium where the TI used to be.
The War Of Absolution was divided into three sections for the three years it went on- the Initium, The Sanguis Effusus, and The Finis.
There was a war hero named Liora Peacefield- the General of the TS’ and TI’s army. She joined around the Sanguis Effusus period and led the tribes to victory.
General Peacefield’s close allies were the Eos Lunae- a cabinet made up of the soldiers Luna Silva(war), Veronica Michel(Death), Vaylen Cassias(Famine), and Delta Nigh(Conquest). As you can tell- they’re based off the four horsemen
Fun fact! The Messura(Tribus Ignus and Tribus Sapientia combined) changed generals five times, while the Dan Utvalda only had two.
Meliora
Not far from the Imperium was a kingdom named Meliora
Meliora was the only place Sirius felt comfortable- as all his life he’s been living in the Mors Terra(the land outside of the Imperium), moving place to place. When Sirius found Meliora- the people welcomed him in with open arms.
Though as said with Zenith- Meliora suffered an attack from a nearby kingdom which destroyed Meliora. Sirius escaped with a broken leg and head injuries.
Kaisarion, who frequents the Mors Terra, found Sirius and brought him back to the Imperium- where he lived for the rest of the time.
How does this connect to the Clergy?
In my mind, Ghouls live for a long, long time. Copia and Perpetua are descendants from Kaisarion, and even after Kaisarion and Silas passed- Sirius and Zenith still lived in to see the way the Imperium shifted into the Clergy. Currently, Sirius and Zenith live within the Ministry, where they keep a memorial to the leaders of the Imperium taken care of. Sirius hasn’t moved on from Kaisarion, Silas, or Virelya. They were like his family. He doesn’t like to acknowledge that they are gone.
Who will be on this blog?
Obviously, we have Sirius- but there may also be Zenith on here! And I’m considering having the ghosts of Kai, Silas, and Virelya on here but I’m not sure yet. Anyways- that’s all from me! Sorry for the long Intro post! Oh, and btw, here’s Zenith! I’ll describe more about him when he first speaks on this blog.

hello! do you have a favourite book? and if you do, a favourite scene?

So my LONGEST running favorite book is THIS GUY!!

(Sire note: my copy is held together with clear tape lol)(ALSO also, my copy has the alien on the front cover and human on the back, it would be cool to find the reverse like in the above example)
The book is a solid two inches this and it's paperback, and it's nearly 500 pages, so it's got some length
It fallows the main character, Daetrin (which is murder for my dyslexia because the a and e next to each other is the bane of my existence) in a post alien invasion world. The aliens, called the Tyr, have already taken control of earth. The war is lost. The point is moot.
Why i LOVE the story is that we fallow Daetrin who we at first assume is just Some Guy, as he's taken prisoner and shipped off into space. Of course he's anxious about his medication and everything which we are worried about, but oh god it is so much worse than we think at first!
See, Daetrin is one of a small part of Earth's population who is functionally immortal, can full on shapeshift, can only really digest blood without his meds, and is basically allergic to UV rays! And we get to see him escape, meet up with an immortal alien shapeshifter, and go on to actually fight against the Tyr for the first time in centuries.
my favorite highlights: (Spoilers, obviously)
The first time he tries to eat normal food without his meds and he gets so sick he turns into a wolf but he thinks it was a fever dream because he forgot he can shapeshift
Him gradually relearning how to be himself and not pretending to be human
The Tyr being a hivemind and every hundred(?) years they feel an irresistible tug to return home where they have a fight to the death for who gets to be the next hive mind host. This is also heavily dependent on a member who has developed a strong enough sense of individuality to actually overpower the influence of the hive mind.
Daetrin and his friend accidentally raise one of the aliens, name him Fred. Fred becomes the next hive mind host. We find out that the alien species is named after the host. The Tyr become the Fred.
(THIS IS MY FAVORITE SCENE IN THE BOOK) They almost get killed by a cult. The temple is honestly my dream house. It is described as seemingly built by a dozen different architects with no concern for what what previously existed. It was massive, windows opened to another wall with just a little gap, hallways led nowhere, doors were three feet off the ground, it sounded so fun!
Secondary character, a Marra, does not understand how physical matter works. Hijinks ensue. Marra are creatures of energy, who CAN'T die of natural causes OR be killed. They can choose to take on physical forms of objects or life-forms, and sometimes have to to interact with the world.
The secondary protagonist is Kiri, our resident Marra, who is on a mission to save her people. But that's not important right now. She crosses paths with Daetrin along the way, rescues him, actually, when he got caught outside during the day. They join paths as they can help each other.
Ultimately, Kiri chooses to join Daetrin after defeating the Tyr and running a few of her own errands. You see, the Marra only retain memories for a limited amount of time, and the people they used to be slip away into oblivion. So they like to choose a mortal companion, who they call Kreda, who can help them remember. Which is great, but mortals have such short life spans that it's hard to keep choosing and losing Kreda. but the human shapeshifters, they live forever so long as they aren't killed, and Daetrin has been so achingly lonely since the modern world began and he can't bring himself to love regular humans anymore. So these two became literally the most perfect match and help each other and live in whatever kinds of bodies they want forever.
Honestly this book had a major impact on how i approach writing because i saw that there is always a fun secret third option for any situation.
HOWEVER
if you were to ask which book has eaten my brain the most and which i am trying to get the most people to read
It's this bastard

This series follows Murderbot (that's its PRIVATE name, don't call it that. The last person to call it that got choked out) who is a human-bot construct Security Unit. Or SecUnit for short. The first paragraph is MB explaining how it COULD have gone on a mass murdering spree the second it broke the software that forced it to follow orders, but about three seconds before doing that it discovered it can pirate tv shows, books, and music so it has been watching soap operas on the clock for the past 33000 hours.
Yes, we all think it's extremely autistic.
Anyway, it had planned to just keep watching tv forever, but then it accidentally got emotionally attached to some humans, was bought from the company, ran away, made friends, lost friends, did occasional murder, acquired not-a-relationship and not-a-baby, and also made a corporation go bankrupt.
This series really is just The Author's Barely Disguised Hatred Of Capitalism, with an exploration of neurodivergency and trauma.
It's important to note, Murderbot is not autistic because it's a robot, it's just Weird. Other SecUnits are Not Like That.
My favorite scene is in Network Effect. MB is trying to help an old colony computer system that has been corrupted by alien remnants. It gets captured, has to rip a hand off to escape, to limps toward the source.
It finds the old computer, weakly pinging for help, and what appears to be a human corpse with thin tendrils and crystals growing out of it. Only the corpse is not dead, it gives off the most creepy zombie vibes and tries to get MB to be the new alien contaminate host. It's really hard to explain just how much fear Murderbot felt in that moment. Its systems were malfunctioning, it was infected, it was injured and trapped with a monster that was trying to do worse than kill it. And all this after spending days having one crisis after the next.
This video shows pretty good the TERROR of the situation.
youtube
But yeah, Murderbot has my favorite trope of This Thing Is Not Human But It Has To Learn How To Be A Person.
....actually
i think both books might fall under that trope
i have a type when it comes to stories and I have entire lists of stories with that trope if you wanna hear more

Let me ask something to everyone who has read FW, IF and OS.
Who will Violet choose when I comes down to Xaden and everyone else she loves?
Who will she save when it comes to hundreds and thousands of Tyrs and Xaden?
Who does she spend a good amount of time with in OS, to the point where it's like everyone else is a filler character?
The answer to all of that is Xaden.
However, for some reason Rhiannon is being hated for not making Violet her priority.
Mira is being hated for hiding the fact about dedication.
So now Violet is supposed to be everyone's priority while she chooses Xaden over then repeatedly.
Yk what I see?
I see you being desperate for reasons to hate on Rhiannon and Mira.
I see people WANTING to have reasons to hate Violet is OS.
Violet risked EVERYONE'S life by hiding the fact that Xaden is venin. He went to countless mission where he could've channeled and killed everyone. So is it not wrong for her to not inform people? At most AND atleast the squad?
Now we come to Rhiannon.
She is a leader. A good one unlike whatever Xaden and Violet are. She looks out for people. Her priority is the thousands down there and not Violet. So what?
Is she supposed to give up the thousands for Violet, who is as unpredictable as Xaden if not more? Is she supposed to sacrifice hundreds of men, women and children for them?
If that's what you think she is supposed to do, then Rebecca failed as an author.
She was trying to show you what a leader should be like. She was trying to show you what war is. You don't get plot armour in a war. You don't get anything in a war except weapons and armour. People die and you have to choose.
As for Mira, all the hate is once again baseless. Yes, ok she should've told Vi about her theory on dedication. But there is a chance she would've accelerated what she thought was the process of her being venin.
But where does the hate evaporate when it's Xaden's turn?
By that logic of hiding things, we should be hating on a HUGE number of characters but no. We only hate Mira.
Before anyone says anything about the venin not solely concerning Violet but also the world, let me remind you of something.
Lilith is dead. Asher is dead. Brennan is trash. Mira's squad is never mentioned, she always flies solo.
Who does Mira have left? Violet.
If by telling Violet Mira thinks she is going to risk HER world, which is Violet, will she tell her that? No.
Also, Mira connected the dots after they visited the Isle of Dunne. Or maybe way later. And she did tell that to Brennan right? Yeah?
When did she tell that to him? When Violet and Xaden were in the washroom.
Why did she tell that to him? So that they could help Violet escape if, by Mira's assumptions, Violet is venin.
She said that to Brennan in Riorgail's room, knowing VERY well that Violet is in the washroom and she will come out any second. We can deduce 2 things from that:
1. She lets her guard down around Violet: That means she wouldn't harm her in any way. She does not think of Violet as a threat. Also, she does not truly believe in the whole dedication bullshit.
2. She knew Violet would listen.
Heroes don't sacrifice their loved ones. Their loved ones sacrifice themselves for the world. Please read properly.
Thank you.

Wishmaster's Concert - Twisttune
Event banner by @ramshacklerumble
I had the idea a while ago that this event would likely have two Twisttunes if it were canon. One would obviously be a segment from the main show, with the cast in the audience and Wishmaster rocking out on the stage. But the other came from the idea that during one of the breaks in the sets, the crew would do what they do best as NRC students and sneak past security. Not only would they sneak past security though, I have the very visceral image of the crew sneaking onto one of the band tour buses and taking it for a joy ride - and of course bringing it back in time to not get caught or miss the next set. (For fun, I decided to actually write a quick blurb as an intro sequence leading up to the Twisttune. I will post it below the cut.)
In the fashion of Twisted Wonderland, it made the most sense to me that if the Twisttune had vocals, the vocals would likely be led by Kingsley Tyr (my OC). Normally, this man wouldn't EVER sing. But this is TWST. He is an SSR. He is legally obligated to sing just like every other TWST character. Them's the rules - I don't make them.
Now, you may be wondering... "Seris, but if he's singing in the Twisttune, does this mean you have a song picked out?"
I do. And it just so happens to be a cover sung by Kingsley's voice claim.
youtube
That's right... the second Twisttune of this event is Jonathan Young's cover of "City Escape'.
Twisttune Ficlet below the cut, featuring Copper Benoit ( @cyanide-latte ) and Gia Yugo ( @ramshacklerumble )
🎵🎶🎵🎶
One by one, the crew slipped under the caution tape. Each of them moved together and yet separately through the crowd. Headed collectively in the direction of the back exit, they feigned a venture towards the food trucks and the bathrooms. Kingsley noted the security guard leaving their post, transitioning into a sprint as they attempted to reach an individual in the crowd who had likely collapsed. With a quick gesture, he waved the crew towards the exit and strutted toward the opening.
Without looking back, the squad ducked back behind the trucks and the booths. They took off down the side of the venue, weaving and hiding and avoiding every security guard in their way. The doppler effect fully hit them as the shredding and singing faded into more of an echo. And before long, a series of charter buses came just into view. Logos glittered as the midnight lamp light cast vivid sheens over them, like their own stage lights beaming over them. As they booked it down the path, the vampire carefully called out to their squadron of leaders, “Which one did you want to check out first~?”
“Figure it’d be the best use of our time to go straight for the gold,” Copper answered over his shoulder, ensuring his own voice wouldn’t carry toward the ears of unwanted enforcers.
“We’re just going to take a peek and then we’ll go back,” muttered Sebek under his breath, clearly uncertain by the collective choice that had been made here.
They approached the charter bus with the title “Wishmaster” displayed across it. The dullahan cautiously cut toward the front of the group. They pulled out their phone, and immediately began scanning the bus for any sign of alarms. As they did so, the others gathered around them, varying degrees of excitement and nervousness meshed into a cocktail of heightened emotions. Kingsley glanced down at the dullahan, clearly minding their own business and tampering with the bus directly. Despite being a fae from Briar Valley, they seemed to have accumulated a vast amount of technological knowledge. He wondered for a moment just how long they’d been exploring human and magitechnology.
Interrupting his line of thought, their voice cut through the quiet yammers around them as they pressed their phone to their Ortho.
“Hiya, beag, I have a question for you… Yeah, can you send me the blueprints for a MCI J4500? …mhmm… yeah, I’m going to hot wire one. Yeah, no worries! I’ll definitely send you pictures. Thank you!”
Admittedly, he still wasn’t used to their voice. After all the time that he had seen Oisin with their TV Monitor and text-to-speech voice, hearing the sound of a normal, humanoid voice created a sense of extremely mild discomfort, but discomfort nonetheless. Out of habit, the prince shot a quick glance about the crew and their surroundings. For a moment, his eye caught the peripheral sight of what must have been an internal swoon from the former General of the Right. He would never understand.
Within a few seconds, the dullahan resumed their tinkering. And without the crew having to wait long, the bus door gingerly slid open. They took off inside, silently waving the rest of them to follow behind.
Waiting for absolutely no one, the trio of misfits immediately slunk inside to take a gander at the world-famous Wishmaster tour bus. The inside felt just as gothic and metal as the band who housed it. Blacks, blues, greens, and oranges littered the space like a rave enclosed in a box. The bus itself had been refurbished to include a rather elaborate sound system, including speakers, amps, and even a mic set. Clearly, they wrote and practiced even whilst on the road.
While he was taking a gander, Cater and Gia already usurped the amp system and began plugging instruments and cables into ports. Lilia perched himself shotgun, whilst the dullahan slipped into the driver seat. One by one, each person in the entire crew got situated and comfortable in their exploring and trespassing. Everyone except Sebek.
Kingsley poked his head out from inside the tour bus, watching the awkward fae loiter aimlessly and seemingly confused and conflicted.
“Get in,” he commanded the fae, “We're leaving.”
“....we?” Sebek repeated, just as he had done previously that evening.
Before Kingsley could answer, Lilia popped up and leaned over the back of the seat.
“Yeah!! Come on, Sebek!! It'll be a lot of fun!” the vampire beckoned him.
The reptilian fae put up a hand firmly as he spoke up, “wait… aren’t you stealing the bus?”
Practically in unison, the entire squad piped up, “Yeah?”
And as if chiming in on cue, Cater added, “Technically borrowing without permission…”
Even with all the encouragement though, the fae didn’t seem to budge, nor did they convince him. He stood fast, arms crossed over his chest.
Kingsley refused to wait, however, and he refused to compromise their situation.
“Just get in,” the prince commanded, “We're leaving.”
“I refuse–” Sebek began to protest. But another voice interrupted him before he had a chance to raise his voice:
“I’ll tell Malleus,” Gia said deadpanned, pulling out their cell phone, “I’ll tell him what we’re doing.”
Those words took Sebek out with the force of an entire anvil, falling from the sky. His body practically froze. His eyes no different than saucers. And his arms fell to his sides in a defensive manner.
“You can’t–”
“I will. I’m snitching,” they repeated, “Get in the car.”
Kingsley didn’t bother to watch as the fae scrambled up the steps, nearly eating shit as he tumbled over his own feet. But he certainly heard it, though. He heard the whimpers too.

❝ He stayed kneeling as the last divine sigil sputtered… and died. ❞
Summary: Justice was supposed to feel pure.
When a corrupt noble escapes conviction and his god remains silent, Paladin Matt Murdock is left kneeling in the blood of the innocent, begging for divine intervention that never comes.
Tyr doesn’t answer.
Zariel does.
At the altar, Matt’s oath begins to crack. He doesn’t say yes.
But he doesn’t say no.
༺ ⚖️ ༻
Justice was supposed to feel pure.
But the floor of the temple is drenched in blood. It runs in slow rivulets down the altar steps, pooling in the grooves of the marble, and Matt's gauntlets are dyed in it. Not his. Not innocent. But not righteous, either.
He kneels before the statue of Tyr—eyes shut, jaw clenched. He can feel the weight of it, etched in stone above him: unblinking, unyielding.
"They cried for help," Matt murmurs. "And you did nothing."
The silence answers back. No warmth. No divine spark. Not even the ache of withheld power—just nothing.
He breathes in the copper-salt stink of blood. Beneath that: sulfur. Faint. Distant. Watching.
"What good is law if it shields monsters?"
"What good is a god who turns away from justice?"
He waits.
Still...nothing.
And then, from somewhere far beyond the temple walls, he hears it.
A whisper.
A heat curling at the edge of his mind like smoke.
"You understand the truth now, don't you?"
His fingers curl tighter around the hilt of his blade.
"If they will not grant you justice…"
"I will."
═════ ⚖️ ═════
Hours earlier…
The Hall of Judgment is cold beneath his feet—perfect marble veined with silver, glowing faintly with divine sigils that flicker under the pressure of broken truth.
Matt stands in the paladin's circle, fists clenched at his sides, armor still marked with soot and blood from the raid. His voice has already been heard. His evidence was submitted. His soul poured bare.
And still, the tribunal does nothing.
The noble stands in the center ring, unbound. Untouched. His robes are pristine.
His smirk? Worse.
"The Council has reached its decision," the arbiter says from on high, voice reverberating through the chamber. "There is no proof of sanctioned blood magic. No living witnesses remain. The charges cannot be upheld."
Matt doesn't flinch. Doesn't breathe. But his jaw tightens.
His hand drifts to the hilt of his sword.
And silently, beneath his breath:
"Tyr…please. Let this be righteous. Let this be wrong. Give me something."
The statue looms behind the arbiter—blindfolded, impartial, sword-sheathed. Tyr's image doesn't move. Doesn't breathe.
Matt waits.
Nothing.
"You cannot be serious," he says. "I—"
"You presented your truth, Ser Murdock," the arbiter cuts in. "But the law does not bend for passion."
"He sacrificed them." Matt's voice sharpens like a blade. "Children. He sold their souls for power. I saw the remnants myself… runes drawn in blood. And you're letting him—"
"The divine does not act on rage." The arbiter's eyes narrow. "You speak like one who has forgotten his place."
Matt's breath catches. And inside him, something folds in half.
The noble turns slowly to face him. Smiles.
"You tried hard, didn't you?" he murmurs. "Dug through ash. Followed the stench. All for a few broken scraps of parchment and a basement full of bones."
Matt says nothing.
The noble leans closer, voice like a knife:
"Next time, paladin… be sure to leave fewer survivors. That's where you failed."
A long breath escapes through Matt's nose. His hand curls tighter around his sword's hilt.
On the floor between them, one of the divine runes flickers… and dies.
No one notices but him.
And not a single god stops it.
He doesn't draw the blade.
Not yet.
═════ ⚖️ ═════
Still in the temple of Tyr, kneeling at the darkened altar, Matt smells the stinging bite of sulfur grow stronger. It curls in the air like smoke beneath the incense, wrong. Unholy. Familiar.
Then:
A whisper.
Closer this time. Sharper. It slithers into his thoughts like it was always there.
"They all deserved better…and he could have been stopped…their deaths prevented…"
He flinches. Just slightly.
Silence.
Then—footsteps.
Not echoing. Not real. But he hears them anyway, from the base of the temple steps behind him. The voice takes on shape. Weight. Almost kind.
"Would you like to know how?...I can show you…"
A shiver cuts through him. Cold and hot at once. Like fire laced with snow.
And still, Matt doesn't rise. Doesn't turn.
He stays kneeling.
Because against his better judgment…
He wants to hear more.
Matt's breath catches. His knuckles are white on the altar.
"Say yes," the voice urges again. "And you'll never fail them again."
He shakes his head once, sharply.
"No," he rasps. "This isn't justice."
"It's what you wanted," Zariel says. "Not law. Not mercy. Power."
The silence in the temple rings louder than her voice.
Matt lowers his head.
"I wanted to save them," he whispers. "I tried."
Another pause. Longer.
"And now I'm offering you a way to make sure it never happens again."
He doesn't answer.
But he doesn't say no.
The fire flickers.
The sigils dim.
The first crack forms in the altar stone.
She waits.
Matt stays kneeling, head bowed, as if in prayer.
But he isn't praying anymore.
He's listening.
"You were made to bring justice," Zariel says, voice like coals raked across silk. "But they leashed you. Silenced you. Used you."
"I won't."
He doesn't speak.
He doesn't move.
But he stays.
And that's enough.
Behind him, the shadows near the temple steps twist...stretching into a long, elegant silhouette. Armor of scorched gold. Eyes like twin suns at dusk.
Zariel watches him with something like pity. Or perhaps patience.
At the far end of the chamber, something begins to form from the dark:
A sword… not holy, but forged from the memory of it.
Heavy. Ancient. Bound in runes of betrayal.
It hums with hunger.
Matt can feel it.
The weight in the air. The taste of iron on his tongue. The trace of warmth under his skin where his oath once lived.
He stays kneeling until the temple goes silent again.
Until the last divine sigil sputters…and dies.

This alliance dissolved faster than sugar in hot water. (Persona 5 AU)
Also I know Bigb and Lizzie have similar outfits and themes and Ren is more red than Pearl, who’s codename is literally just another word for “red”. Eh, oh well.
Southlanders
Team B.E.S.T.
The Scottage + Gem
Magic Mountain + Cub
More under the cut!
Lizzie - “Flora” - The Tower Arcana - Carabosse/Persephone
Once the leader of a sorority and with sky-high academics, Lizzie has since fallen from grace after allegations of foul play were revealed. Even if Lizzie didn’t commit such actions, the label stuck and she has since been outcasted from the student body and now spends her days in the shadows, taking care of quite a few stray cats. Despite these setbacks, she still retains her gleam of authority and tries to help lead the phantom thieves, using some of her old connections & IOUs from her days as an honour student. She’s in an active and loving relationship with a certain former delinquent.
Within the metaverse, Lizzie uses Carabosse. Carabosse is more well known as “Maleficent” or the thirteenth fairy from sleeping beauty. As revenge for not being invited to a party, she curses the newborn princess to prick her finger and die, which another fairy changes to simply falling asleep after pricking her finger. I wanted to combine the two aesthetics and themes Lizzie finds herself in; cutesy fairy and supervillain mastermind.
Her Ultimate persona is Persephone. Persephone is the wife of Hades, and queen of the underworld and goddess of spring. Persephone is often equated and conflated with Despoina, who’s real name isn’t revealed to anyone but those who initiate her mysteries. She is noted to be so terrifying, one must never utter her by name out loud unless they want to catch her attention. This is heavily contrasted by the later interpretations of Persephone as a simple spring goddess.
Ren - “King” - The Emperor Arcana - Arthur/Fenrir
Ren is a prodigy actor at a local theatre, with his acting skills being matched by no one in the theatre. He specializes in dramatic characters with flowery speech and theatrical monologues, to the point whenever he’s in the metaverse, he LARPs as an Evil King. He helps hook the Phantom Thieves up with a weapons expert, who for some reason wears a goat mask 24/7. Upbeat and Loud, he and Skizz helps keep morale high in the phantom thieves. He’s very close with Martyn, despite Martyn insisting he’s just using them as pawns. Whether or not this is true or not is yet to be determined.
His persona is Arthur, namely King Arthur. He is a famed king, known for his sword Excalibur and his large entourage of knights. His story lives on through media, be it through simple books to as grand as whole stage plays. He is often portrayed as a well meaning king who defends the land from both human and supernatural threats. Although his legend has changed throughout history, his story is one bedecked by both tragedy and grandeur.
His Ultimate Persona is Fenrir, a key figure in Ragnarok and killer of Odin. A child of Loki, he and his siblings were foretold to bring the end of the universe and in Odin’s attempt to escape this prophecy, he ends up giving them the power and motives needed to enact the tragedy. In Fenrir’s case, he was brought up the wolf in their home where only Tyr had the courage to approach him to give him food, which sparked a friendship between the two. However, due to his rapid growth everyday the gods made three leg cuffs and had Tyr helped trick Fenrir into putting the cuffs on. When he realizes the trick, he bites Tyr’s hand off. In Ragnarok,he breaks free of his chains and swallow Odin whole, killing him.
BigB - “Spectre” - The Temperance Arcana - Winchester/Eshu
A velvet room attendant who is currently abandoning his duties as an Attendant in the first place. Since the new velvet room manifested, he has since been shirking his duties to explore the outside world, never really returning to the Velvet Room. He still speaks in a somewhat strange manner but is polite and charismatic, making him well liked by the people around him. He initially joins the Phantom Thieves to keep Watch of Grian, as he is aware of his true nature, but eventually finds more reasons he desires to stay. He is especially gifted with persuasive speech and helps come up with alibis for the Phantom Thieves whenever they get into shady business. He has an odd habit of exiting rooms through doors that weren’t originally there.
His persona is Winchester, both the person and the mansion. Sarah Winchester was the wife of the inventor of the Winchester rifle. After she was widowed, she was told she would be haunted by those whose lives were stolen by the rifle her husband created. In order to prevent the ghosts from harming her as well as to possibly contact the ghosts of her lost loved ones, she turned her farmhouse into a strange, maze like mansion with doors and windows that lead to nowhere, stairs that end in ceilings, trapdoors, and barred windows.
His Ultimate Persona is Eshu or Èṣù, a Yoruba Orisha who specializes in divination and acts as a messenger between heaven and earth. He was known to have tricked Ifa out of his secrets of divination, and another where he frees Ifa from his imprisonment within a palm tree and casts him as a founder of the Ifa religion.
