Help is just a click away
Danny was bored, it's not something new, the Infinite Realms were not the epitome of fun and the portals had been closed after the fight he had with his parents. It was safer that way, no one could get hurt, humans or ghosts.
That didn't mean the halfa couldn't miss them: his family, his friends, or the life he had before. All he had left were the ghosts, which was fine, but it wasn't enough. He felt unbalanced, unwell.
Clockwork told him it was because of his obsession, his obsession to help and protect was being fulfilled but only halfway. He had enough ectoplasm to last a lifetime but Danny was a human too, he needed to see the stars, to help people. He needed it desperately.
Clockwork noticed this and seeing that the boy could not return to his original dimension, he gave him permission to travel to the DC universe as long as he was careful. It was unlikely that they would attack the halfa there, they were all "special" and Danny would go unnoticed. But the boy still wanted to help.
So he formed a small business. He created a simple app and granted help to anyone who made a request. From saving a kitten from the trees to transporting very heavy packages.
It worked wonders and lowered his stress levels greatly. Danny thought he could get used to it, until people started making stranger requests and before he knew it, the so-called "Justice League" was at his door. Of course, he escaped, although that probably didn't help sell his innocence.

It's crazy that people still uphold show!Sansa as a well-written character and pretend that liking her is the pinnacle of feminism when it would be infinitely more impactful to acknowledge her terrible and misogynistic writing. This is the same character who, while written by two men, was thankful for the abuse she suffered because it allowed her to grow. The same character who we had to be told was smart because the writers were too lazy to develop or show her intelligence. The same character who had to rely heavily on the men surrounding her and ended up accomplishing nothing on her own merit ( and no, thinking that she deserved to be Queen doesn't mean that she earned it). She is not well-written, she is not complex, and she is not a feminist character. Which is fine! If you enjoy her then good on you, but please stop pretending that she's something she isn't just because you feel the need to justify liking her character

I'm so proud of myself about finances in the past couple months. I still struggle with money but I did enough meditation and journaling and practicing about it to make myself able to actually face my loans and credit cards and savings and bills and start really truly organizing and addressing them for the first time in years instead of just flying by the seat of my pants.
Like. This is a huge deal for me. I've felt like I'm in deadly danger every time I've tried to think about money for years and years. I'm finally able to look it in the face and stare it down and start to organize and plan on purpose instead of just keeping up with the minimum to stay afloat. I'm so proud of myself.
It's still a refrain of "GUILT (funny link)" every time I think about money but I'm able to actually make spreadsheets and face the numbers and monthly tracking again, and even make a new full budget which I haven't been able to do in ages.
still feel guilt, overwhelm, and helplessness, but no longer feel as much deep elemental shame and terror. that's progress baby

Thinking about Brilex from Hoody!Brian’s perspective like…
You loved him once. You loved him and his stupid film and his nerdy haircut and the way he looked at you like you were the only person that mattered. You loved him.
He’s changed. He’s not that guy you fell in love with in college, he’s not even the friend he was to you first. He’s not Alex Kralie because you loved Alex Kralie and you remember the day you realized he was gone all too well.
You’ve changed too. You know you’re not Brian Thomas, the star of the show, the lover, his heart and soul, and maybe you died the same day he did. Or maybe you died slowly, in your apartment, wasting away after realizing the man you loved was gone.
Maybe you still love him. Maybe in the same way he tries to kill everyone to ‘save’ them from the monster who haunts them, you’re trying to kill him to save him from being used by that monster any longer. Maybe you’re trying to save what little is left, or maybe it just hurts to see the shell of the man you love still walking around like he isn’t long dead.
Maybe you love him. Maybe he loves you. Maybe you’ll go down together, hand in hand, an ending to a Shakespearean Romantic Tragedy. You know how much he loved those. Perhaps this is your last gift to him, a poetic ending to a movie he would watch over and over again on repeat.
They say hate and love are often intermixed, much closer on the spectrum than most think. You don’t know if that’s true but he would probably say this to you if he was still himself.
You think you still love him. You don’t think you’ll ever truly stop. You think that hurts more than anything he or it could ever do to you.

i’m actually really nervous about twow bc i feel like every series i made my whole personality from the ages of 10-17 ended really badly EXCEPT probably farscape and ummmm well…the disney series’ aksksj hsm3 and descendants 3 written by children’s media icon and genuinely amazing director, screenwriter, & choreographer kenny ortega both had really solid endings that fit the characters & themes & also there wasn’t a noticeable decrease in quality of writing. is it unserious to compare grrm to cassie clare, rick riordan, megan whalen turner, or the hacks who wrote once upon a time? absolutely. am i gonna stress regardless? also yes.

here's another rus update. i think the time offline has been good for it.
[Video: Russet, grinning widely and giggling as several tiny baby Noibat use him as ledge to launch off of, shaky wings figuring out gliding and then flapping. The little Noibat keep hopping back to Russet to get pet and then launch themselves again, going further and further each time. Russet seems overjoyed.]
