I love how over time kid xelqua has become less just baby grian and more grian's kid who he found in the woods/somehow created and now the kid represents all of grian's childhood trauma and Catholic guilt and grian is just trying to break the cycle bc there's this magic fucking baby who is the best thing in the world

JKAGJKD yes Exactly, see evo Grian has a lot of family issues, from being an orphan, to the Watchers, he has ISSUES, so raising a version of himself is..... definitely odd, but weirdly healing.. He sees how he was as a kid, he wasn't that bad, he was just a kid ! He didn't deserve to be abandoned or anything. He sees all of his ache in Xelqua, he's very much breaking the cycle.

have started to notice that podcast fandoms have huge problems with art theft and its nagging at me

i dont think fans of shows, especially podcasts, realize that when you save art from tumblr or twitter or whatever and then repost it without credit, youre still stealing art no matter if you claim its yours or not. its so incredibly annoying to spend hours on art that you really like, only to have it be reposted without any mention of your name anywhere by some tiktok or tumblr user making a meme collab or an aesthetic board or whatever. i get that these characters dont have canon faces that you can use but that doesnt mean you can just take other peoples work and pretend you dont know how reverse google image searching works.

if you dont have credit, then dont repost the art. its real fuckin simple. ive seen way too many edits or meme compilation makers try to squirm their way around this and i think its because they know its bad to do and they dont wanna steal art, but that doesnt mean you can still do it you annoying lil shits

Okay, it took about... Idk, 6~ hours to do this? Definitely at least six cause I've been coloring and whatnot for about five hours and I know I didn't whip up the sketch in just an hour.

Anyway, here's the spooky weird Nikia for the goofy priestess au I've been bouncing around for a while now. Almost did silver chains cause silver just works better with the cooler color vibe, but considering she didn't pick these, gaudy ass gold is better lol

She looks so ominous but also like she's meant to be a statue. Just looked at, not touched. Which fits.

When she 'trades' the jewelry for freedom, she needs help removing all of it cause it's legitimately tangled into her wings and around her body. Very noisy, heavy jewelry she's glad to get rid of. Though she liked the sound of bells, the intent and amount was excessive for her.
