fine. here it is.

for those of you that don't know, this my final paper for my abnormal psychology class I took last spring (at a community college lmao, I have since graduated and am now in university studying something completely different.) the instructions were to play therapist and write a case study on one of your hypothetical clients. we were supposed to make up a person and diagnose them with something. naturally, instead of making someone up, I chose a sitcom character to dive into. I somehow got 100%. read if you so desire, it's about 1600 words.

• okay so first ones not really a headcannon but more just a detail that I feel like im the only one that remembers: brett plays guitar!!!!!!! maybe it was just my guitarist brain but I seen this in like the first episode and never forgot. he definitely will randomly pull out his guitar (like full on david cc style) and start playing like in the middle of like a meeting or some dumb shit. he probably plays down at like at some local Cafe or something on the weekends. all 80s too obviously

• brett loving the 80s definitely resulted in a lot of different more 80s ish themed hobbies/interest. Bowling, arcade games, roller skating yk shit like that

• he most definitely can break dance? obvs.

• i feel like music wise it would be a mix of 80s obvs but also like early 2000s since that around when he grew up. I honestly feel like it would also be really similar to patrick batemans music taste 💀 but definitely a lot of Whitney Houstin, Huey Lewis, Talking Heads, but also some Madona, Dave Matthew's (which was already mentioned in the show), Death Cab, The postal service, Lumineers, and Vance joy. I also get am receiving a very large Bee Gees presence in him.

• he definitely overthinks his suits a lot. he will put his all into perfectly selecting a suit and making sure everything about it is on point. it was definitely an anxiety thing that just turned into a habit over time

• speaking of the anxiety, he has a lot of shows—some obvious some not. For once the leg bouncing is definitely a thing; that's a given. But also counting, like literally anything, he will just count. and that finger digging thing?? you basically and kinda just like digging your thumb nail into your fingers??? I do it a lot and it's not like a sh thing I swear it's just an easy way to disperse negative energy when something kinda catches you off gaurd or whatever !!

•i feel like he would live in a really blank apartment: white walls, white sheets, white floors, minimal furniture—everything minimal. except for just a bunch of 80s posters everywhere. you walk into this man's apartment and you are met with micheal Jackson, jaws, Whitney Houston, breakfast club, back to the future, all that shit.

• he is a germaphobe. I can just feel it. Not really with physical contact—but more public spaces. He refuses to touch and door handles, railings, or anything unless there is a sink or hand sanitizer nearby. he probably just watched to much science shit from being left unattended when he was younger it its just built up a fear in him

• he tryst to get the gang to do ' team building activities ' like EVERY weekend. he does actually succeed sometimes. Such activities can include: twister, karaoke, board games / video games ( family game night 🤭 ) , disco parties. you get it.

• he is a horrible cook. he may have been left unattended but he still had plenty of butlers around to make him food thus removing the need to learn how to himself. he probably makes the worst concoctions known to man—like the shit you find on the lunch trays of feral middleschools that dare their friends to eat the mashed-potatoe-chocolate-milk-bannana-bean-taco-meat-old-hard-chelse kinda shit. we all have some horrific war flashback in mind. and he thinks he is a CHEF.

• despite that he probably makes really good smoothies!! being a gym trainer and everything he got really good at it and will craft the most heavenly shakes and smoothies to ever bless your tounge.

• ummmmmm love language physical touch who?? brett, that's who. not even romantically but he just loves physical contact. words are hard. hugs are not.

• he probably think he is like a Disney princess and is a friend to all animals and for the most part he is but bird are definitely his worst enemy I can 100% see him getting his ass bit by a goose or getting shit on by a duck while trying to feed it bread. reagan probably had to give him a lesson om why he shouldn't give ducks bread too. he cried when he found out why that's a no no.

YOU NEARLY KILLED JEURGEN!!!!!!!!!!!! and technically its cronies almost killed yves so that was Ough. but yeah no mech. in actuality yves(?) was kind of paralyzed half the time in telly's mech, i say ? cuz that wasnt. really yves. hard to explain but no that wasnt yves really. still though. once the battle was over, full success, we just stood there as we received all of this info right. and telly's like full of screaming thru the comms, and yves(?) is like. hey god is fucking punishing us actually. this is god's punishment. and tellys like. no its fucking not shut up. also i know about your boyfriend. elias. and THE yves, THE current yves, goes fucking ballistic, all the rage and terror from before comes back at once and he fucking goes ballistic and tackles telly and fucking BEATS his shit in. just starts fucking punching him over and over again til people have to physically rip him off and fucking screams at telly to like. leave elias out of this. all of this while baron oze is just receiving the news from jeurgen - 5 years for bo. FIVE months for keedan. and its so fucked up to me. jeurgen knew. jeurgen knew for a very long time. he just didnt know that til recently. and thats so fucked. he knew all of this was going to happen. this WHOLE fucking time... but he did not remember..... how fucked is that. like actually. so im just like. man Okay. okay. this is fucked.

so yeah after that reveal, we just drag ourselves back to the hangar. we're fucked. got ferrofluids everywhere, telly's punched to fuck all, oils and shit, we just look like shit. and then we realize theres a man with darwil, guy just fucking LOSING his shit, pacing back and forth, just rambling his head off, and it isnt til he looks our way that yves realizes immediately it's elias, and elias makes a fucking beeline right for yves and actually. dude? fuck? oh. they just fucking grapple onto each other and they hug it out right there and yves is just whispering im sorry the whole time. he has never truly apologized for anything. he actually means it. im like. fuck. yk. dude? at that very moment everything else gets drowned out, cuz it just doesnt fucking matter to him. elias is right there, tears in his eyes, looking at him. just straight up starin at him. nothing fucking matters actually. just this right now. im like. picture of white guy with the red shirt grabbing his head and crying. rant abt my previous manager i just need to get it out

ok so tldr my previous manager made me wanna quit my job which i, for the most part, very much enjoy but he quit and i love our new manager. this is just some stuff me did that upset me to the point of desiring job searching again

he was always in a shitty mood but let it affect his work so as his only full timer i got the brunt of that except he would actually talk to me whereas he wouldn't even return one of my coworker's texts if he would speak to her at all during her shift. like how childish of you, you're a grown man who can't handle her valid criticism of how you're doing your job not to mention that she's worked there for almost three years now. but like one specific incident where he was upset but taking it out on me in a way is it was near the beginning of my shift (prob 6-630am?) and I'm a barista so i was prepping cold brew for later so i had my back completely turned to the front counter and we're the only two working (at the time the previously mentioned coworker was out w shingles) and so he asked me if I had seen a customer up front who i obviously hadn't seen bc i was prepping so i was like 'oh shit no i didn't my bad' to which he responds with 'well i need you to be paying more attention, i can't be doing everything myself ://' and i was just immediately taken aback like why did you feel the need to get passive aggressive w me instead of just saying 'hey can you grab the front counter I'm preoccupied w catering' (which we were) like it just pissed me tf off and later that same day after close i brought back smth we had used for cooking and he was like 'oh bring that back up we didn't use it much' which first of all 🤢🤢🤢 but he has a food service background and he was still going to leave a used dish for over twelve hours without washing and sanitizing it? fucking disgusting. i was just so done that i left the dish and clocked out and went home. like whatever treat me like shit all day see how much longer I'll stick around.

i actually found out right after he left that he was the one holding back my full promotion to shift lead and when I tell you i was fuming I'm not exaggerating. like our district manager aka HIS BOSS discussed promoting me his response was basically 'we will give her half the raise and once she's been here a full year we'll promote her the rest of the way'. like wtf?? I'm still so fucking upset bc he really liked me as an employee and i had run the store before TWICE in his absence (with staff from other locations but they were only trained in food production so i was taking orders at the front counter and in the drive thru and making drinks and taking payment in the drive thru yk just normal entry level position shit 🤪🤪) and he just. didn't want to promote me. like it hurts it really stings i still feel so rejected.

he won a lunch for his employees for answering some question in an email from our regional manager and like explained that he wanted to do it on a weekend where most of our staff and the only other coworker I worked w regularly would be there and i was like '....ok?' and so he did and he didn't even invite me? his only full-time employee? like it would have been during business hours so they could all have it during their lunch breaks but he didn't even tell me when so I could participate? what the actual fuck is up w that? like if I had quit while he still managed the store he would've been fucked!

and he never hired anyone while he was there so we were chronically understaffed. our new manager has been w us for prob a month and we already have i think three whole new hires.

Yk, at this point I realized I don't even know myself.

At first, before even Ephemeral, I thought it would mean that Adrien is not a human and that they would go down the 'yeah but he's still so similar to a human!' road. Which I couldn't stomach.

Okay, now I've accepted that he is a human but.... I guess I can't fully wrap my brain around it, you know?

As a 5-year-old I easily could, because the scientific part of it would just fly over my head. I'm freakin' 30. I am doing a massive research for my own books so I could make animals that walk and talk like humans absolutely acceptable by the sci-fi community, even though I'm not even into sci-fi. I wanna make it as realistic as possible.

Then there is that 'I am allergic to magic' part too, and that now combined with ethical dilemmas of acting like a god and creating living, feeling and sentient beings out of nothing, mostly as a tool, and then being like: "Okay, I won't be a merciless arshole, of course I'm gonna let it live after I use it."

Believe me when I tell you, I am absolutely livid about the whole thing. Chat Noir has been steadily growing on me since the first episode, and I finally got enough inspiration to sit down and write a fic (I even had ideas for more, but goodbye to that for now).

I absolutely loved this show; I loved the very idea for that Love Square; for everything that was happening and leading towards the reveal - but this was a turn to a dark and bumpy side road I never would have predicted.

Don't get me wrong - if Adrien was a disabled person or was born in absolutely any way known to man in our real world, I would've loved him 10 times more. But this.... Just playing with the very fabric of a being..... It makes me shudder.

Not to mention he never had full free will, something that is crucially important for a human character. Being so abused that you start feeling that you can't do anything about it and actually having your will rendered uncapable to even psychologically respond somewhere inside of you to what you've been told to do.... It can be a parallel, but it's not the same.

I half-broke when I saw Adrien obviously switching to 'puppet-mode' back in Epheneral, and I'm gonna break entirely if I see him completely will-less like Sentibug was for example, the moment Marinette took the Amok in her hands.

Adrien is not who we thought he is. We don't know how many decisions he made on his own in his life and how many Emilie and Gabriel made for him. Maybe Emilie really wished for a free-willed boy and wanted to watch him grow into whatever he chooses. But we know for a fact that Gabriel and Felix's father are not like that. Everything is a question at this point.

The perfection Marinette fell in love with could have been fabricated. Hundreds of fans have went crazy for 'an image of perfection', how Gabriel called him. We don't know if Adrien truly was obedient and not just made to do things, or even made to be obedient. Maybe his story is yet to begin; in which case you can throw everything you know about Chat Noir into the trashcan.

... I don't know how the creators have handled this. There are so many things that could go wrong in the writing past this point. Not to mention that Adrien's existence will be hanging by a thread - onto the existence of the ring(s), and Felix already has one of them.

It's all just anxiety inducing, and very little pleasure is coming from watching this. But I'm too hooked to what has been to stop because of all the things that might happen.

..... I'm glad I'm not watching this as a young adult or a child. I know for a fact that it would've absolutely traumatized me for life.

How Bakusquad Asks You to Prom

Mina Ashido:

-Mina’s definitely got something really pretty planned

-She’s most likely a little dressed up with a cute little dress on

-This is all taking place in the common area

-Everybody besides you knew what was happening and were hiding in the corners of the room and against the wall

-Aizawa was even there claiming that he felt most comfortable if there was a teacher and adult present with all of these candles burning Mina, Denki, and Sero filled him in one day when he was trying to grade papers

-In reality though, he just wanted to be there to see how it would play out after hearing all the talk about it

-Y’all do be his kids after all

-You keep getting texts from Mina and everyone telling you Aizawa is calling everybody to the commons right now and that you’re late as hell

-You’re out of breath running to the room and realize you don’t see the lights on from where you stand

- Walking in however, you’re greeted with soft jazz music

-Mina standing in the middle of the room with a bouquet of flowers

-In front of her on the floor are candles spelling out “Prom?”

-Not gonna lie she’s a little nervous

-Fingers fiddling for sure

-For sure expect to be woken up late at night, leaving you surprised considering yk his bedtime and all

-He’s shaking your shoulder and grumbling to you to “Wake your ass up, or I’ll leave.”

-You turn seeing Bakugo with a candle he over burnt a little bit with his quirk, your favorite snack, a teddy bear, and a little jewelry box

-“Will you uhh..” his eyes dart away from you and he hears you giggle

-He turns speed walking and dragging you with him

-”So you go relax for a little bit, do some studying or something. Put on one of your cute little outfits, and I’ll be by later to come get you because you’ve got a hot date in my room say around..8:30?”

-You nod, catching your breath and realized he has delivered you all the way back to your own dorm

-Before you could turn and ask any other questions, that boy is booking it around the corner to get back to his room

-Upon walking in he is greeted with bunches of “what happened?”s from his friends and a slap to the back of his head from Bakugo

-Yes they somehow got Bakugo to help

-”Guys! Guys! We’re good, why did nobody keep decorating? Come on people we have until 8:25 and then you all have got to go!”

-Fast forward to 8:30, he’s opening the door for you and guiding you inside with a hand on your back

-He’s cheesing like a fool I promise you

-Sure you already saw part of it but not nearly the end result

-”So, will you go to prom with me?”

-”Uhm, YES!”

-Y’all can hear Sero and Kiri hooting and cheering from Bakugo’s room across the hall followed by a

-”Shut up or get out you idiots!!”

-You and Denki definitely won the top spots in the Prom Court

Eijiro Kirishima:

-Kiri definitely has a little cliche possibly cringe idea he saw online

-But it’s still cute as hell because I mean hello it’s Kirishima

-All his friends were struggling planning things while he was sitting there CHILLEN

-Denki turned like “Uhhh..Bro, you all set or something? You’re looking mighty not-busy over here.”

-”Yeah man. This was eeasyy. I found exactly what I wanted to do. They’ll love it.”

-By this point everyone had been listening, and then he was bombarded with several voices asking for ideas and inspiration from him

-All voices went silent though when he whipped out his phone to show them

-”Dude.”

-”You’re joking.”

-”Tch. Dumbass..”

-He’s not even a little worried about their reactions

-If there’s one thing he knows it’s YOU

-And YOU love anything Kirishima does 

-Let’s not lie we’re all whipped

-And y’all are just some chill ass individuals and cornballs with the same humor

-He spends the entire evening that day drawing out his sign and gathering things he needs and whatnot

-When you walk into class greeted with some yummy food and cheesy saying on your desk, you smirked knowing it was the one and only

-”Surprisee!” he would sing wrapping an arm around your waist and kissing your cheek

-”Pretty manly, huh?”

-When the rest of the class sees how it actually turned out in comparison to the picture he showed, they kinda regretted trying to get on him

-Especially since you were right in front of them enjoying it

-Shit was kinda sweet

-Ya know, seeing y’all be all perfect for each other and all

-”Ah, you’re so cute. It’s great!” your face was lighting up as you plopped down in your seat

-The rest of class everyone was still stressing between lessons about their own prom situations

-And cutting their eyes at you and Kiri

-Prom is literally a dream with this man

-I feel like he would dress with the most casually classy look

-You settle for one hand over your eyes, and one hand in his

Being the younger sister to 'The Strongest Sorcerer' was not an easy task. Yeah sure you loved him and everything but he just needs to shut his mouth sometimes. Going on missions with each other, spending nights watching movies, and eating as much pizza as you could fit in your mouth. You loved and cared for all of them but one, in particular, held a special place in your heart. Nobara Kugisaki was the most beautiful girl you had ever laid eyes on. Her short red hair and deep brown eyes you could get lost in. Her confident attitude and tendencies to take charge in intense situations drew her to you. As much as you tried to hide your feelings for the sake of your friendship, it was very obvious to someone else. The day was moving very slowly as you sat in class, not paying attention to what was happening. Your eyes started to drift to the redhead, sitting diagonally in front of you. From this angle, she wouldn't be able to see you admiring her delicate facial features or the way she would smile whenever Yuji confidently got an answer wrong.

"Y/N, have anything to share with the class? It looks like your zoning out there."

You snap your head forward at the call of your name. Your older brother has a smug look on his face, he knew what he was doing. You apologize for your lack of focus and the lesson continues. Asshole.

After class Gojo calls you to stay back a bit. You knew what he wanted to talk about so you reluctantly stayed behind.

"So, what did you wanna talk about?" You ask, pretending to have no idea what he's talking about.

"You seemed awful distracted during class today. Wanna tell me why." He had his stupid smile plastered over his face.

"I didn't sleep well last night. I was just thinking about stuff." You tried to ignore the blush slowly creeping up your neck.

"Yeah, think about Kugisaki." He laughed. At this point, your face was feeling hot with embarrassment.

"That's not-NO I-" You couldn't think of the right words to say after your brother exposing you like that, covering your face in your hands out of embarrassment.

"Awwwwwww, look at that. My little sister has a crush." He swayed back and forth on the balls of his feet as he teased you.

"I don't." You said with a serious look on your face in hopes of throwing him off your trail.

"Yeah right. I can smell a lie from miles away." You couldn't outsmart him. Guess all that was left to do was come clean.

"Fine, I do. Can I go now?" You were already tired from your long day at school and now you had to put up with his antics.

"That's cute. You know, I think she likes you two." You looked back at him almost offended. Did he think he could trick you into believing that?

"Yeah right. I get that your power is great but your six eyes can't read people's minds."

"Not their minds but any normal person can read body language. She's always so entranced by the way you speak or how she laughs at your horrible jokes." As you listened to your brother he started to make sense. You always assumed that she was only being a good friend, that you were the one captivated by her.

"Whatever, now can I go?" You asked annoyed.

"Maybe I should tell her about your little feelings." He smirked as you started to walk away.

"Tell her anything and I swear I will pull those pretty little eyes out of your head." You threatened but all he did was laugh.

"Fine, fine. I won't say anything but you should tell her. Life is short Y/N." He patted your shoulder and he left the room. You quickly chased after your brother.

"What should I say to her? I don't know how to do this," you asked, feeling defeated by your own emotions. You expected a smart-ass response from him but he only stood quietly, thinking over what to say.

"Just tell her how you feel, oh, and what you like about her." You didn't expect him to take your question seriously. Looking at him, he pulled his blindfold down. You saw the sincerity in his eyes as he gave you his advice.

"Be honest, don't shy away from what you want or else you'll end up regretting it." You smiled. You never really had a moment like this between the two of you before since Gojo was usually all fun and games but it felt nice to open up to him.

"You know, you give good advice when you're not being an asshole." You poke his side.

"That's why I'm the best big brother." He slung an arm over your shoulder (Why does this man need to be so damn tall) and you two walked back to the dorms.

The next day quickly arrived. You had spent all night planning what you were going to say to Nobara when the two of you had a moment alone. As if he was playing cupid, Gojo separated the class so that you and Nobara had time alone to work while Megumi and Yuji trained in a different area. The two of you had all your books laid out messily over the picnic table outside. She needs a little bit of help before the next big test so you offered to help.

"I'm so glad you hear to help me. I suck at this." You brushed it off and continued working through some questions. Now or Never you thought.

"Hey Nobara, random question. I was thinking of telling my crush I like them, any idea's on what I should do?" The question was open-ended enough. She looked up a bit confused and slightly hurt.

"Oh, umm. I don't know. I've never really done anything like that." She looked back down as if you never asked the question and continued to work.

"I was only wondering cause I like this person and I wanted to finally tell them. I was thinking of just being upfront about it but maybe you know a better way?"

"I think being upfront about it is good." She stopped working and looked up at you. You found yourself staring into her eyes, not able to look away.

"I...I really, really like you Nobara." You said out loud. After looking at her you knew that you couldn't hold back anymore. The way her hair perfectly framed her rosy cheeks made you feel warm inside. Her eyes opened in shock at your confession. She sat there not saying anything as her face began to turn red.

"I knew I shouldn't have said anything. I'm sorry, just pretend like i-"

"I like you too." She blurted out, cutting your sentence short. Gojo was right (which wasn't a common occurrence).

"Wait?" You were in complete shock. She slowly nodded her head as she tried to hide the flustered look on her face. You started to laugh causing her to smile at you.

"I don't know what to say." Your face felt hot after your confession.

"Don't say anything." You looked to her, confused by her words. Making eye contact, she leaned in and your lips met finally. It was a slow and tender kiss, one of happiness and bliss. Her lips were plump and soft on yours. You reached and cupped her face in your hand as you deepened the kiss. You pulled away out of shock and need for air. Her eyes were full of love as her face was tinted a light shade of pink. You didn't know how to respond to the situation.

"I knew it!" You both looked to the side where Gojo was standing with Megumi and Yuji behind him. The basted had the biggest smile on his face. Megumi had a subtle shocked look while Yuji's jaw hit the floor. You both looked away after getting caught. Gojo came up behind you and started talking about how he was right and pestering you while your two other classmates just watched their teacher harass the two of you.

"look at my little sister all grown up." He grabbed your chin and smushed your cheeks in his large hand.

"Stop it Satoru." You waved him off of you.

"Say I'm the best big brother and I'll leave you alone."

"Not happening." He slouched over your shoulder. His tall and lanky frame doubling over you.

"Okay fine, you the best big brother."

"Ever?"

"Ever." He stood up tall and congratulated the two of you. Nobara still reeling from embarrassment.

"Usually I would give you two a long speech about you getting pregnant but I don't think I need to worry about that."

"Satoru!" You shouted as he ran away.

Maki Zenin

Being a second year at Jujutsu tech meant you didn't have to put up with your older brother as your teacher anymore. The freedom you felt was overwhelming. You got to know your fellow second years quite well during your time. You and panda like to brawl with each other now and then. You can understand Toge quite well now. The person you were the closest with by far was Maki Zenin. As the only two girls in your year, you guys spend a lot of time together. Where spending hours talking when you should be sleeping or trying to outdo each other at Mario cart (Currently you are in the lead) you guys were inseparable, practically joined at the hip. Because you guys were so close you started to catch feelings for her very quickly while in your first year but you brushed it off as a sisterly like love. After growing and realizing just how much you truly cared for her you started to confide in your older brother, Gojo. You two became quite close while you attended Jujutsu Tech so much so that you started to have proper grown-up conversations (Or as grown-up as Gojo can be). He would make fun of you for your feeling but you could make just as much fun of him when it came to him not knowing how to be a real adult. Make fun of how skinny he is and he will fold like a lawn chair.

It was just another day after class. It was boiling outside and the school didn't have good air conditioning in their classes so you decided to go bother your brother in the staff lounge.

"You know your not supposed to be in here," Gojo said while on his phone. You plopped down on the long couch, dying of heatstroke.

"What are you gonna do? Kick me out. I'd like to see you try." You guys sat in silence for a minute while you recovered your strength to talk to him.

"It is so hot outside." You mutter.

"I think that's what happens during the summer." He responds with a smirk. You just grumble at him.

"You talk to Maki yet?" He quickly changed the subject. He's been on your ass about it ever since you told you were going to tell her your feeling...2 months ago.

"I'll do it when I want to. What do you know about feeling." You said rhetorically.

"I am an expert on love. I have had my fair share of it."

"Sleeping with anybody who takes the slightest interest in you isn't love, it's called being a man whore."

"Hey, take that back!" He pointed at you all dramatic-like. He knew it was true but hearing it come out of his little sister's mouth had a different impact.

"No. Your a man child who never considers other people's feelings so that makes you a man whore." You smile at him. He started at you with a competitive grin.

"I think I need to go have a little conversation with Maki." Gojo then teleported out of the room before you could grab a hold of him. Before thinking about it, you sprinted out of the room to find him. Running up and down the halls, you found the two of them talking in the main corridor. You run-up to the two of them out of breath from sprinting in the heat.

"So Maki-san. What do you have to say about this." You look to Gojo horrified. Did he tell her about your true feelings? Looking to Maki who had a relatively calm look on her face.

"I mean I feel the same way, I don't know why you had to make such a big deal of it Gojo-sensei." You were startled by her words. Did she like you? Gojo backed up a bit to give you some space but he stayed close enough to hear you two.

"Wait really, you do?"

"Yeah of course." She seemed so calm it was almost scary.

"Maki I, I really like you. Like a lot. I was scared to say anything cause I didn't want to ruin our friendship." You blushed after finally coming clean.

"Wait, what?" She looked shocked and confused. You looked horrified.

"What did he say to you?"

"Umm, he said that you were happy to have me as a best friend." That asshole. He tricked you into confessing.

"I'm sorry I sh-"

"No, I...kinda like you too." Maki looked down a bit. Her golden eyes portray strong emotions. After all the confusion you didn't know how to react. You brought her into a tight hug and snuggled your face into her neck to which she reciprocated. You pulled back and pecked her check causing her to get flustered.

"Haha, I'm the best." Gojo stood next to the two of you feeling accomplished in himself. You ran and tackled him to the floor.

"I am going to hurt you so bad."

I’ve mentioned in HC and stories that I’ve had Breach get expelled despite having great grades. A person’s just bound to snap, yk?

Expelled.

Fuck. Breach was standing in front of his school, unsure of what to do now. This just wasn’t fuckin’ fair. The reason why he even fought this third time was because the assholes were pissed that their parents got called in and they followed him to his locker before smashing his head against the metal door. He had been staying away from them after his confrontation with his mother that he still hadn’t apologized for. In his own way, he was apologizing by running away when he now knew that he could fight back well enough to scare them off. Not that he would let her know though. He hadn’t spoken with her since he stormed off that night, and guilt had sewn his mouth shut since then.

And… god… What was he going to tell her now? That guilt that still rested in his stomach only bubbled up more as he thought about going home with the paper in his hand. One month from graduation, and he fucked it up. She had given him everything she could so that he could even get to this point, and he threw it away.

Much like he threw that piece of paper away. Into the nearest trash can as he walked away from school.

Ok, so, if he wasn’t going home, where could he go instead? There was no one else he could turn to other than his mother, so if he was going to run away… He didn’t have a lot of money on him. His prospects were next to none. The most he could do was take a bus back home. As he walked around the city, unsure of his next move, he lost track of time, only really realizing the time when the streetlamp next to him turned on. All this time, all his good grades, and what was he going to do now?

He thought back to his mother. Could he ask her for forgiveness? Tell her that he really didn’t mean what he said about blaming her for his arms? But what would that accomplish? He was still expelled, his opportunities in life would be next to none now, and he’d have to rely on his mother who had already put so much into him to help him grow into someone independent. But going back home to his room and his disappointed mother had to be better than sleeping on the streets, right? She’d never allow him to be so alone out here, and she’d do whatever it took to keep him safe, warm, fed.

His stomach growled once again reminding him of the issue on hand. He needed to make a choice. He could go home. He could apologize to his mother for everything and explain himself. Maybe she could do something about it, and maybe she couldn’t, but at least she’d know he was safe.

His phone rang and pulled his attention to it. Of course, it was his mom. This wasn’t even the first time she called; he just hadn’t noticed until now.

He could pick up. She was probably worried. She didn’t deserve that…

“Don’t have a place to go?” Beside him at the bus stop was a lanky man, perhaps just an inch or two shorter than him, but far more muscular. He had a full sleeve of tattoos, and a couple piercings on his face. When he got closer, the smell of cigarette smoke and alcohol wafted over, and there was no doubt now. This was the type of man his mother would tell him to stay away from.

Trouble was written all over this situation from the first word to the hand on his shoulder.

“No arms?” He looked pensively at Breach. “You have the height and the look though.”

The silence felt thick and hazy, full of tension and unspoken words.

“Are you going home?”

To go home… or to go with his man. He thought, one last time, about his mother. About the tens of unanswered calls. She’d be concerned, and he wished that she didn’t have to care about him so much. He didn’t want to hurt her anymore.

“No.”

“If you want work… I can teach you what you need to know… to survive.” He looked up at an outstretched hand. “You’re not gonna use that phone though. Don’t wanna get tracked or anything.”

He hesitated. His mother… would she look for him? He sincerely hoped she wouldn’t. He wanted her to take this as a ticket to freedom. She was free to be herself and to move on from the kid she didn’t deserve. He… He was going to be fine.

He’d be lying if he said he didn’t once look back at the broken pieces of his phone lying by the side of the road.

After that, it was a few quiet weeks of the same routine. The man had a small apartment, perhaps the same size as the one he came from, but much worse kept. Yeah, his mom did insist on cleanliness. Unlike his home, this apartment gave him a never-ending sense of unease. But it was a place to stay. He had a pillow, a thin blanket, and the couch. That was his bedroom, and it was better than nothing. At least that’s what he told himself.

Many times, almost every night at first, he dreamt of maybe sneaking away to go back home. Back to his mother, a warm hug, and a nice meal. But the other was scared. He had gotten himself too deep at this point, and it was going to be up to him to survive. There was no going back – he didn’t even know if this guy would allow him… It didn’t stop him from daydreaming about his home, his mom, and even school.

The days were generally the same. He wasn’t allowed to draw back the curtains, and only ever saw the yellow wash of light from the various lamps. Every day had some sort of training indoors. First, it was sparring, and learning to fight with a style that relied heavily on kicks. While his arms were able to reach around and grab at things, it was far too slow to keep up in a real fight. The most he was taught to do with them was to position them in a way to protect his head. Despite the lack of arms, he had always had a base level of athleticism, and he was always good at running. This was just one step up from that. After sparring, he started learning about different… substances. Their worth, their names, their purposes and how to use them. It was like schoolwork, and he was always good at that. But the implication of this never failed to bother him. This was going to be his life.

Maybe it was at that point that he stopped dreaming about his mother. Maybe it was because when he was deemed ‘ready’, he got in a car, and they went on a long trip. He had never left his city let alone Sweden as a whole. It was just one of those things where the money wasn’t there for him and his mother to take a vacation. Their vacation time was spent doing a lot of hiking around parks, perhaps a day trip somewhere, and mostly staying at home and spending time with one another. It wasn’t like he had friends after all.

It wasn’t until he was surrounded by unfamiliar words, an unfamiliar place, at least a full day’s travel away from his home, when he finally started to understand just what he was about to do. The next months were spent on various “runs”. He would get a package, sometimes a letter, and a destination along with various weird instructions. Wear this blue shirt. He soon figured out that was how the target was finding him amongst the crowd, though it would’ve been hard to miss a tall redhead like him walking through the crowds. The job was easy enough, and in return he got fed and was given a tiny closet space to sleep in. The food was bland, borderline disgusting, but it was food that he wasn’t paying for. The room he got was indeed just a closet with a bedroll, pillow, and blanket, but it was something.

The main issues were all the sounds he heard from the moment he laid his head down. It would follow him into his dreams, and then he’d hear them again the next day. Gunshots were the first ones he recognized. Against paper targets, it wasn’t too bad, though it did drill the sound into his head, never to be forgotten. Then there was the screaming and grunts. That made his blood chill and forced him to just lay there, and to not make a sound lest he call their attention and he’d be forced to… what was worse? Watching it or being the one hit? Surely the second, but he really didn’t know when he heard those sounds over and over again.

“Please, I don’t know what your—”

A thud.

“I asked a very simple question.” Another thud. “All I wanted…” Another thud. “Was a simple answer.”

“I… I-I don’t—”

A thud, followed by a scream that was cut short by a crack.

He didn’t ask about the new, temporary carpet on the ground the next day. From the smile he got when he looked right past it, he figured that was the right thing to do.

The screams, the sounds, the gunshots… it was some sick lullaby that eventually fell on deaf ears. He kept thinking to himself. It’s just about survival. He needed to live another day. This person’s mistakes weren’t his fault. God, he wanted to be anywhere but here.

tubbo: not mutant he is scientist man and super techy and smart big brained he builds things and shoots guns

ranboo: teleports???? he can not control it tho and that is becoming an issue for him

ok tommyinnit born on like a farm or sumn but doesn’t remember his parents, was in the foster care system for a while before being kidnapped at nine by scary scientist ppl(dream??) and taken to a facility full of other mutant children and is getted experimented on right? other notible children there are ranboo, tubbo and jack. after years of being experimented on in this weird facility the four of them escape together to some random city with a rly high population so they think it’ll be so busy that they won’t be found

tubbo was born and immediately put up for adoption, he was passed through group homes and foster homes and whatever the shit his whole life until one of his foster parents realized holy shit this kid is a genius cause he was doing crazy math and biology or whatever the fuck equations as like a five year old so word got out about this genius kid cause that foster parent started putting him into contests and shit to make moneyyyy and then the scientists(dream????) from the facility find him and think hmmm this kid is big brained let’s take him and use him to help do experiments or experiment on his brain to see if he’s also mutant or both yeah both so dream somehow legally adopts him and brings him to the facility where he gets forced to experiment on these kids his age against his will and then also gets experimented on then eventually ranboo and tommy and jack and him escape together

ranboo literally has no clue where he came from before the facility, he thinks maybe he was born there or at least there since he was a newborn cause all he can remember is gaining consciousness one day at 8 and suddenly being strapped down in a chair in this in this big white room with a window and a bunch of scientists staring at him and holding clipboards, one of the scientists looked way way way too young to be there, like the scientist looked like he was ranboos age(haha tubbo moment) anyways ranboo is there and then he gets experimented on for years because of his teleporting ability that he still can’t control and then the squad all break out

jack was born in a normal suburban household with a mom and dad and sister and then found and kidnapped by the scientists one day when he was eight. he gets experimented on to the point where he doesn’t like using his powers and even fears the fire because of how often the scientists would set him on fire to see how long he could actually take it. after years of this he escaped with the squad and works on science things with tubbo instead of having to use his powers

philza comes from a long line of mutants with various abilities that have lived in secret for centuries. he knows how to live a normal life as a mutant and hide those mutant abilities from the general public, and he teaches his son wilbur how to do that. when he meets his new assistant at his architect job technoblade he’s like “this bitch has abilities and even though normal people can’t see it i can” then he confronts techno and technos like “haha idk what you’re talking about lol what’s a mutant”

GOT7 vs. fights with their s/o

Jaebeom

Welcome to Ahgases’ best friend Jaebeom. I feel like in a fight, he probably would keep his cool. If it’s something small like a misunderstanding or maybe someone forgot to do the dishes, he might try and figure out a way to solve the issue without causing too much harm (no harm at all would be his preference). 

But! There’s a but. 

I would not want to make him mad. Everyone has a limit and honestly I feel like I’m scared of Jaebeom a lot. Personally, I feel like he’s more of the quiet angry and that gets him the ranking of 2 out of 7. Jaebeom would try to keep his mouth shut so he wouldn’t say anything that he would end up regretting, and he would also want to stop the fight as quickly as he can. 

Since he’s a leader, I feel like in big arguments his mind might immediately go to solve and settle. This man would probably argue with himself in his mind. If he disagrees with you, he would want to voice it out but he’d also want to say it in a calm manner that wouldn’t make the argument any worse. 

That’s the middle of the argument. If anyone of you would start crying, Jaebeom would immediately stop. That’s when he realises that the argument has either hit a nerve or has just gone on for too long. He would let out a heavy sigh, run a hand through his hair before turning to you.

“Can we put this on hold? Or at least just sit down and calm down for a second?” he would suggest. If you’re crying, you would just nod. But even then, if he was crying I think you would want everything to just stop as well. Jaebeom seems like it wouldn’t take him much before he’d realise that the both of you would need to take a step back and calm down. He would throw his pride and whatever ego he has out the window if it meant the two of you would stop fighting. 

Mark

Hah Ik LA gangster is an old joke, and I’m glad that it is. I’m pretty sure Mark’s managed to figure out a way to control his anger. I mean… he’s in a group that has BamBam and Yugyeom together… like… who wouldn’t lose their mind a little bit…? Anyways, small arguments would probably be him just quietly listening to you rant and vent. If he feels like there’s no point in arguing, he would just find a way to calm you down instead. 

If the argument escalates, he would most likely continue to try and stay calm. I feel like he would just stay quiet and think through his words as much as he can. If you were upset, Mark would want to say things that would calm you down. If he was upset, he would choose his words wisely. He’d want to get his point out there, but he wouldn’t want to hurt you. 

Now, big argument time. Say you’ve gotten past civil and it’s slowly turned into an argument where you can see a vein popping in his temple. I think Mark’s sense of composure would pretty much fly out the window if he gets really, really, upset. If you’re screaming, then he would, too. I feel like this would also have a lot to do with the fact that Mark’s more on the quiet side. 

He would end up voicing whatever he’s been holding in, yelling without much care of the neighbours hearing. Mark gets my ranking as 4 out of 7 in the scary ranking of GOT7. I would be scared of him but there’s more members I’m scared of. 

It might take a bit more for an argument to end compared to one with Jaebeom. It would most likely be crying but make it spicy before the both of you would realise you need to calm down. “Let’s put a pin in it, yeah?” he would say as calmly as he can with his arms open. It would take awhile before you can talk normally and more calmly, but when you do, Mark would most likely have managed to compose himself. He wouldn’t want to make you any more upset than you already are, so he would try and settle it after you’ve calmed down.

Jackson

Remember how I said I have more members I’m scared of? Surprisingly enough, Jackson’s number 3. He comes after Jaebeom, but he’s still scarier to me than Mark is. I just have this feeling that he gets scary when he gets angry. It’s mostly because Jackson doesn’t seem scared to voice out his opinions on things. This could probably be the reason why a fight would start in the first place.  

Jackson’s not scared of saying how he feels. He just lays it down. This would mean that in a fight, he would be blurting out whatever he feels on spot or what he thinks is right. I personally think that Jackson would be one of the hardest members to argue with because he would be arguing back with his entire might. 

I think he would be rationally calm if it’s a small argument, but a big one would bring out another side in him. Jackson would argue, and he would keep going if he feels like he’s not being heard. He may get overwhelmed. Let me clarify this again: this is how I see GOT7 in my mind and it’s not supposed to be an accurate portrayal of how the act IRL. Jackson just seems like the kind of person who might get carried away during an argument unintentionally. 

He’ll realise you need to stop when he accidentally steps into something sticky. Jackson might end up making you cry and that’s when he realises that he needs to stop yelling and start talking. He’ll sigh before sitting down—bed, couch, dining chair, ground, whatever—because he needs to cool down before he says anything else. 

“I-I’m sorry,” he’d apologise softly after a few minutes of silence between you two. “Let’s talk about this calmly, yeah?” Jackson…? Honestly…? With the way he portrays himself as such a loud and energetic person, I feel like he has a way of calming himself down really quickly in situations because he can’t show that he’s angry in public yk? I might be wrong about this (hhh I might be wrong about all of these). Carrying on, he would most definitely put you first. Jackson would want you to be okay before continuing with whatever caused the fight. 

Jinyoung

I present the man I’m the most scared of in GOT7. Now, it’s obvious that it would be Jinyoung. He’s a really scary motherfucker. The worst part is the fact that he’s one of the quieter ones which makes him seem even scarier to me. He seems like the kind of person who wouldn’t say anything if he was angry, but he would make it look like he’s trying to kill you with his eyes. 

If Jinyoung ever yelled at me I think I would burst into tears. But! He also doesn’t seem like a yeller. I think he would do very passive-aggressive, calm shots that would probably stab you in the heart. It would take a lot for him to yell at his partner, and it would have to be something that pushes him over his limit.

In any normal argument, he would have an icy edge to his tone when he’s fighting back, but he wouldn’t take it too far. In a BIG fight, he would probably be struggling to compose himself. If he’s full on yelling, then he’s gotta be seriously upset. Just trust not to make him really upset. Now, I think Jinyoung is less picky with his choice of words. He’s really blunt and he’s straightforward; if he wants to say something, he’ll say it right there. 

If it ends up hurting you more than he intended or more than he thought it would, all feelings of anger would most likely start to steam out of his body. Jinyoung’s mind is on the fact that he’s said something as mean as he did to you in your face. Regret would fill him immediately. 

In a situation like so, Jinyoung would contemplate going to you and hugging you or leaving you to have space. One side of him wants to comfort you because he’s your partner—he wants to be there for you—but the other side of him knows that he’s the reason you’re as upset as you are. He’ll know that you want him to hold you when you don’t move away when he moves towards you. Jinyoung’s arms would be around you and he would pull you into his chest, “let’s talk about this when we’re both calm.” 

Youngjae 

Youngjae ranks number 7. Idk he just seems really soft. I know that’s not a valid reason, but I’m not scared of Youngjae that much. If there was a fight and he got upset, I see him leaning towards more of a louder but still more composed kind of angry.

So, Youngjae seems like a little sensitive otter boy. It would be easier to make him more upset during an argument than the others, and because of this, he would also be more careful. I think he’d probably be one of the more likely to cry during an argument too (not a bad thing) he would just not know how to express himself properly. 

You know that feeling when you’re so overwhelmed with different emotions when you’re angry that you just can’t do anything but cry? I see that in Youngjae. It may be because I see him as more sensitive compared to the others because of how soft he is in my eyes. He would only yell if he’s really upset or if he feels like you’re not listening to him in the way he wants to be heard. 

Something else that I see in him is very frustrated unable-to-say-what’s-happening-on-his-mind. Youngjae’s hands would be moving all over the place to try and show what he wants to say or what he’s feeling. I think it would take the both of you to realise that you need to stop before you actually stop. I imagine that you seeing him stressed would make you even more stressed and Youngjae would get more stressed seeing you stressed. 

It would probably be in a silence where you’re just staring at each other before he sighs. “I don’t think it’s good that we continue this when we’re  angry.” Youngjae would take a moment to calm himself down before making sure that you’re calm. Only then will he suggest bringing up the topic again to try and settle it in a healthy and calm manner. 

BamBam 

Okay, BamBam’s number 6 on my list and for good reason. I feel like if I ever got into an argument with him, we’d both just yell at each other until someone else would stop the fight. He seems like the kind of person who would be pretty hard headed in an argument. This means that I’m less scared of him and more ready to beat him up.  

We all know the sheer amount of chaotic energy BamBam is able to release. Although I love him and his energy, I feel like there’s two sides of him that could happen. It’s either he’s the quiet angry or he’s the full blown yelling angry. I would imagine that if you two were fighting over something really big he might be really stubborn about it. I mean, the fight probably only got so big because you both have different views. 

I feel like if it’s something that he really very much disagrees with, he wouldn’t back down so easily. BamBam would make it obvious that he thinks the other way and that he wants to prove he’s right because he’s stubborn like that. I also think that for him, it takes more before he realises that he’s crossed a line. I think that might either be one of you storming out or just breaking down completely. 

If you storm out, it might take him a while before he realises what’s happening. Bam would most definitely chase after you once he does. He’s holding onto your wrist before you can even get any farther. “Look—let’s...calm down first,” he would shakily let out. BamBam would be scared of you leaving him on spot. The fact that he knows it’s because he’s stubborn might make him feel even worse. 

BamBam would gently guide you back into your apartment and sit you down. He would force himself to throw his pride out the window to make himself calm down before turning his attention to calming you down. 

Yugyeom

Yugyeom’s number 5 because even though the idea of an angry Yugs might be kinda scary, I’m still more scared of the other members than I am of him. He radiates energy that’s similar to Jinyoung’s, but I still wouldn’t be too scared of him. He seems like the kind of person who would be more on the quiet side and he would also use his body language to show how upset he is.

Though, I do see him as someone who would be more patient. It would take more before he would start yelling. He seems more of an almost aggressive kind of angry, but he wouldn’t be violent. Yugyeom would probably throw his arms around a lot to try and express himself, and he would just be muttering to himself in between arguments. 

I do see him as someone who would back down easily. If it’s something that he doesn’t think is worth fighting over, he would just agree with you without saying anything more. If it’s something that he thinks deserves more attention, his energy might end up fueling the fight without him knowing. Idk if this makes sense, but like when do I ever know how to describe things, right? 

Anyway, Yugyeom would be a mixture of Youngjae and Jinyoung but more mild, get what I mean? He would have the soft ‘lets not fight too much’ but he would also have the passive-aggressive ‘my way or the highway’ kinda thing. He probably would only stop if you cry or maybe if you get really, really upset. If he sees you getting too worked up, then he would stop the fight. 

“Baby, let’s take a break from this,” he would suggest softly. He doesn’t want you to actually catch on fire because I’m pretty sure he would actually be scared of you a little bit (let’s be honest here I’m pretty sure all 7 of them would be at least a bit scared of their partners). Yugyeom might just pull out something from the fridge like ice cream or a drink to help calm you down before sitting down and talking to you.

they live, schlatt helps with what he can like farming w phil but mostly spends his time learning braille or something so he can read and techno gets him books in braille so he isnt bored or alone like he was in the prison and he feeds him and takes care of him and schlatt is funny and entertaining despite being blinded by something from his own body and the torture it was like to rot in a cell alone for almost a 1/4 of a year and nights when techno gets home late and hes shaken and the voices are bad schlatt will sit behind him and play with his hair and talk abt his own day and rub technos back and in return when schlatt relapses and gets violent and angry techno will wash his hair and read him stories until he calms down and hopefully asleep and no one told him the news that wilbur died so when ghostbur shows up and starts talking to him he treats him the same as he would wilbur bc he cant see that hes a ghost all thats different is his speech pattern and overall personality and one day he says 'ur different wilbur what happened to that, i dunno spark u used to have' and wilbur simply 'im not sure if im being honest a lot abt me has changed since i died, or so im told i dont remember much from when i was alive' and schlatt just 0_0 and then hes scrambling down the ladder and stumbling around the house looking for techno, finding him in the basement working on something Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.

Supernatural. I really really enjoyed the first five seasons. It told a solid story and came full circle and I appreciated the whole thing. Then it just ... kept going, and getting worse and more nonsensical and repetitive and bonkers, so I stopped. I now pretend in my head that anything past season 5 is just fanfic. I only accept the first five seasons of the show as canon. :P

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

Oh goodie, this is a fun one!

Fandom 1: the Realm of the Elderlings series by Robin Hobb. My favorite character here is a mad sentient ship named Paragon - I tend to fall for the “crazy” characters, especially if their madness has a mysterious tragic backstory, and especially if the Power of Friendship helps to stabilize and empower them to sort out who they really are and become who they really want to be. 

My second favorite character in the RotE series is Thick, a character who - if he lived in our world and not a medieval-ish fantasy one, might be considered developmentally disabled or perhaps neuroatypical. He is funny, loving, angry a lot - especially at the things he can’t control or the things the people he cares about make him do when he doesn’t want to do them, and is also very very powerful in some of the magics that exist in this world. However, because of his differences, his magic functions differently from the others as well, and most people don’t understand him. He connects to very few characters, but the ones he does connect with end up being very strong connections. 

Third fave is probably Nighteyes, a wolf who bonds with the main character of the primary books in the series (9 out of 16 of the books I believe?). The bond is magical on both of their parts, so Nighteyes becomes a little human-ish and Fitz becomes a little wolfish, and they can talk to together and are basically life partners and soulmates in a very very strong way. Fitz often annoys the crap out of me, but Nighteyes does not - in fact he is often annoyed by the same things about Fitz that I am, which of course is gratifying. He’s got a great sense of humor, is super loyal, and has great instincts. Plus he’s a woofer. I love him. 

(I could probably pick another 6 characters here but I’ll move on)

Fandom 2: General Hospital

Carly Corinthos is probably my top fave soap character of all-time. She can be crass and caustic and schemes like nobody’s business, but she’s fiercely loyal to and protective of the people she loves, always emotionally honest to the point of everyone always knowing what she’s thinking or feeling at any given moment, and while she’ll cast you out if you hurt one of her own - her heart is big and warm and open enough to keep including more people into that inner circle. She’s a hot mess tbh, but she keeps trying, yk. I’ve loved her since Tamara Braun played her and also love Laura Wright’s portrayal of her (love having TB back on the show in another role too btw)

Sam Morgan is probably my second top fave soap character of all-time and it’s a very close second. Sam and Carly have a lot of differences (Sam has a healthy understanding of boundaries, for example - and she tends to methodically plot instead of spontaneously scheme when she wants something sorted out a certain way), but they’re similar in their fierce loyalty and their ride-or-die mentality when it comes to the people they love and care for. Sam tends to hold her cards closer to her chest, and she’s quite independent (whereas Carly tends to lure people in to help her accomplish her goals). Sam is scrappy, she’s a fighter, she loves her family - bio, extended, found, etc. - and she looks goooood in a tight black tank top, some jeans, and a leather jacket. Come ON! 

Maxie Jones is another female character that I adore on this show. Maxie is a lil ball of fire! She knows what she wants and she goes at it full-speed ahead until she gets it. She fucks up a lot (less and less as she gets older tho), but she always gets her head turned back around and makes things right to those she’s hurt. She’s currently going through a grueling heartbreak/loss and the actress Kirsten Storms is knocking every scene out of the park. I just wanna throw daytime emmy’s at her in between dabbing at the tears in my eyes. 

So anyway yea, three very different badass women on my fave soap!

Fandom 3: The Walking Dead

Michonne is such a dynamic and interesting character. The first thing we see and get to know about her in the beginning is just how badass she is - she can fight with a katana, and she has hand-less jaw-less walkers chained to her to protect her from other walkers, and she just seems so mysterious and larger than life.

Then we get to know her, bit by bit. And she never loses that badassness, but she adds in these layers of softness, humor, love, affection, fear, sadness, tragedy, etc. She becomes part of Team Family and she protects her people both with her fighting skills and with her wisdom and willingness to try new things and be open to new people. 

She never loses the core of who she is and she never gives up, but she gets close at times. She’s not really larger than life. She’s very human, and very fragile, and yet still very very strong. I adore her.

Rick Grimes - oh - how I do even begin. He crept up on me. I never consciously thought of him as a favorite or whatever, but as the seasons continued I found myself feeling very protective of him against his critics. He’s a leader character, and his people sometimes follow him very willingly and openly, and sometimes more reluctantly and angrily - but follow they do. And, like Michonne, he’s very human. He loses it sometimes and he makes giant mistakes sometimes.

But overall? This is a man who gives his all at all times. He protects his family at all costs and sometimes that means his wife and kid, and sometimes it means a network of communities of hundreds of people. It can mean anything in between. We call our group Team Family in large part because that is how Rick sees them. And once Rick decides to take someone(s) under his wing, whether it’s a lonely wanderer by themselves or a whole freaking village, well the rest of the group also end up deciding these people are now part of their family.

Everyone on this show has seen and experienced and even done unimaginably horrific things, but I feel like Rick has shouldered the most - not just what’s been done personally to him, but the responsibility of everything that’s happened to anyone in his care at any given point of time. It’s a lot to take on. But he keeps doing it.

He just keeps doing his best, over and over and over again. And I admire the shit out of him. And I discovered somewhere along the line that he was not only a favorite character but someone I truly STAN for. I will die any hill defending this man with my whole heart. 

And yea, he loves Michonne. And she loves him. And when the two characters you love and admire the most in a show fall in love, it’s one of the most delightful things in the world. 

Carol Peletier. I don’t know if I can’t talk about this lady without tearing up. She started the apocalypse still under the thumb of her abusive husband. She was quiet, unassuming, but clearly warm and caring as well. She’s had an incredible character arc in these past eight seasons. 

Carol lost her husband (a good thing), and then her only daughter (a tragic thing), and found the will to not only live but continue on and thrive and learn to protect herself and her people. She is a fierce fighter, she takes necessary actions that no one else can take, and she can put on a character to fool people into underestimating and/or trusting her at a moment’s notice. 

Carol has spent a lot of time deciding what kind of person she wants to be, and what her ethics in this new world should be about, and how far she should go now that she knows how far she CAN go, and as a result she has become very deliberate with both her words and her actions. She’s even learning to lighten up a bit here and there. She’s an amazing, wonderful, thoughtful woman who continues to grow and change but in believable and deliberate ways that make sense for her character.

I can’t wait to see what she does next tbh!
