despite Laios low self esteem making him think that if he’d been eaten, Chilchuck and Marcille wouldn’t have helped Falin,
theres a small part of me that thinks the reason Chilchuck stayed with the party and went back in the dungeon in the first place was because he didn’t want to leave Laios alone. That Laios was moreso the reason he stayed.
#dungeon meshi#chilaios#OK SORRY. THE DEMONS. I REALLY DID NOT WANT TO LIKE THIS PAIRING. I DIDNT. BUT. HHH. FHFHJFJV. I FEEL CRAZY. LET ME EXPLAIN.#Pre canon it seems Laios is the person Chilchuck is really the closest to#He gets along with Namari and they are probably way better as buddies than he and Laios but#He and Laios seem *closer*#If that makes sense#Laios calls him his first name enough and without any issue or hesitation from Chilchuck#That I sort of inagine its not like. A misunderstanding. Laios is on a first name basis with him for a reason.#He also worries probably more than anyone about Laios#And his biggest criticism of him is that hes “reckless”#he’s comfortable around Laios in a very specific way and so is Laios around him#and in the series he shows many times that he’ll risk his life to protect Laios#Like staying with him to confront the elves because he was worried Laios would say something stupid#Hes the first one to run up to him when Falin punches him#I mean I think he was also going back for Falin like its not like I think he doesn’t care about her or anything#He clearly does#But I don’t know if he’d have gone back if Laios hadn’t#And if Laios had been eaten I think he wouldn’t have even had to be convinced by Falin#I also think Marcille would’ve gone back for him but probably more bc Falin was going back#Like sort of a reversed thing#AGAIN not that I don’t think she cared about Laios at the beginning either#But she before the story she was mostly Falin’s friend who knew Laios through Falin#She only really got to know him when Falin got eaten and they had to do a team building exercise#Though now I sort of want to see an actually reversed scenario#Bc we also know that Chilchuck is sort of uncomfortable around Falin (said in relationship chart)#So I would love to see them be forced into a team building exercise to find a person they both love the way Laios and Marcille were

MARS, the planet of ACTION: What type of exercise Mars in each sign makes me think of
Tumblr media
Note: this is not necessarily advice about exercise to consider based on your Mars sign. So many things in the chart and the individual’s life will tweak the picture. Being that I’m a 6th house Mars who’s making it a goal lately to exercise daily (or most-daily😆) because I see the benefits for my mental and physical health of having intentional physical activity in my routine, this is just my musings on the type of exercise that comes to mind first/strongest when thinking about the archetypes of each sign. ✨
Mars in Aries- lifting weights/strength training 🏋️‍♀️ Mars at home! I thought about maybe also going with martial arts for this one! ❤️‍🔥 Mars/Aries does have a strong purpose for defense. As the first sign in the zodiac, Aries’ archetype is also that of a straightforward, more simple and direct energy. To simply get buff seems like quite the way to pay tribute to this potent combined yang energy! 💪
Mars in Taurus- Yoga 🧘🏽‍♂️ Taurus needs something at a bit slower of a physical pace, and the very conscientious attention yoga places on your relationship with your body is very Taurus/2nd house. Plus every Taurus rising I’ve ever known has been into meditation and/or yoga. 🤷‍♀️ Always looking for the calmest ways to do things! 🧘‍♀️
Mars in Gemini- Running 🏃🏻‍♀️ idk this just seems like a flighty Mars sign! 🏃‍♂️🚀💨
Mars in Cancer- In-home exercise, regardless of type, is what immediately comes to mind! Maybe a really pimped out Mars in Cancer would have an in-home pool.💧😂 🏊‍♀️🏠
Mars in Leo- Dancing! 💃🏻🕺🏼This is my Mars sign and never been a dancer, so this goes to show how I’m just thinking about the archetypes of the signs. But the Sun’s gotta shine/will get noticed 🌞 and dancing also is so highly CREATIVE. ♌️
Mars in Virgo- Gymnastics 🤸🏿‍♀️ I’m just so impressed with the precision♍️ in the routines of gymnasts. Perhaps Pilates is another example, that’s a little more common place. I personally avoid any exercise that requires attention to precise detail as it gets my Mars worked up in a bad way😤… so more power to anyone who’s built to like this type of exercise!
Mars in Libra- Ballet 🩰 The pure archetype of Libra is grace. Enough said.
Mars in Scorpio- whichever combat sport or martial art is the slyest. 😂 Mars at home I think could be quite motivated to be fighting somebody; but Scorpio’s gonna be concerned with technique, not in it to make a big bold scene. 🤺
Mars in Sagittarius- Hiking 🥾🌄🌲 Or biking! 🚴🏻‍♀️ The sign built for exploring. Hiking is always an adventure. You never quite know what you’ll see even when you’re hiking nature trails you’ve hiked before. And it tends to be a popular activity when visiting new places. ✈️
Mars in Capricorn- Climbing 🧗🏽‍♂️ Climbing has an obvious association with Capricorn. 🐐🌄 And Caps could always use inspiration to reach some pinnacle! 🙏 Also, fun fact, Saturn is the planet that rules the skeletal system and muscles in medical astrology. 🩻 Climbing works basically every muscle in your body!
Mars in Aquarius- some eccentric aerial sport. 😂 I don’t know much about anything in this area, I just know something that’s done in the air 🌬️ and something that’s unusual makes me think of Aquarius! ♒️
Mars in Pisces- Swimming 🏊‍♀️ I’m giving the final water💧sign, the one most like the vastness of the whole ocean, this official association with swimming. Related fun fact: my Piscean🌞 grandmother was the one who taught me how to swim (and was very delighted to do it). 💙
Bonus thoughts, from a Mars conjunct Venus: it’s really worth considering exercise that puts you in nature if you too have this conjunction, or Venus in harmonious aspect with Mars!🌲🌷 On this note, I’d think of Mars-Mercury being suited for things that are also exercise for the mind, Mars-Sun being suited for daytime outside exercise, Mars-Moon being a good fit for nighttime exercise, and exercise in new places or that doesn’t follow a set routine being suited for Mars-Jupiter!

Human Design: Environment + Exercise
In Human Design, there are four placements called Variables, one for ideal Environments, Motivations to set, Perspectives to hold, & Determinations to take in the world; Your environment can be used to decide the best place for exercise, eating, & studying.
Individuals that have "Shores" set as their ideal environments from design will function the best in places that are juxtaposition; Environments represent the area where our bodies process the best, from the world itself to physical (diet/exercise) or mental (study) accumulation.
Natural Shores will include areas that were made from nature or happened without interference; Sticking to bodies of water, or areas that are juxtaposition (in this case, naturally wet and dry) are the best places to be.
Artificial Shores are man-made or involved influences that aren't natural; Being in swim clubs (artificially wet and dry) or moving between spa rooms like saunas (artificially hot and cold) would be aligned with your design.
Multiple places can align with either side these are just the first examples that came to mind for me; Natural Shores would benefit from canoeing or kayaking as an exercising (especially w/ Gemini placements), while Artificial Shores would benefit from swimming laps in a pool.

THIS.
Here's an example:
I have dysautonomia- most of the things your body does automatically (blinking, breathing rate, heart rate, blood pressure, when to sweat and how much, temperature regulation, etc) are all things that my body doesn't regulate well. It's like a few chapters were torn out of the instruction book on "how to keep up maintenance of a human body", so my autonomic system just sorta gives its best guess and hopes it's right. (A lot of the time, it is not.)
I just had a doc-in-training tell me that a treatment plan for an unrelated liver issue and high blood sugar was to get "20-30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise in daily".
......my brother in christopher, I literally cannot do that. I could *maybe* manage that 2x a week, but certainly not without working up to it. My body cannot properly maintain my own heart rate, internal temperature, sweat rate, or blood pressure... What you've "prescribed" could end up putting me in the hospital.
we as a society have got to stop prescribing exercise as a universal cure for chronic illness. yes exercise can be extremely beneficial for certain chronic conditions, especially under the guidance of a physical therapist or physiotherapist. how and ever acting like exercise will undoubtedly reduce the symptoms of every single chronic illness on the face of the planet just isn't it. exercise is even known to worsen the symptoms brought about by certain illnesses and disabilities, and can have detrimental effects if not approached with the utmost care. 'exercise can be beneficial for certain conditions' well yes. 'exercise will have a 100% positive impact on any and all chronic illness' no no nope and also no

Walking for Weight Loss: Simple Steps to Shed Pounds
Walking is a simple way to start losing weight. It doesn’t demand much, neither does it require gym membership and special equipment. You can walk pretty much anywhere — the park, the street, or even indoors on a treadmill. Walking is more than just burning calories, it also gently raises your heart rate and muscles without putting much pressure on your joints. Because of this, walking can be…
