We are pleased to offer the fandom an alternative Rayllum Month event this July. Rayllum Mini-Month will feature 4 prompts—1 per week, with a suggested posting date of Wednesday each week. (Don’t worry—we’ll be reblogging all month, in case you fall behind 😉). Use #rayllum mini-month 2025 when you post your work…and check out the tag to see everyone’s fantastic fanworks!

Fanworks of any and all kinds are encouraged as a part of this event, including mature and explicit works. We anticipate fanfic, fanart, meta, edits, playlists...or anything else you can come up with! Please be sure—as always!—to appropriately tag your works with warnings for potentially triggering content so that everyone can choose what fanworks they want to engage with.

Our aim is to provide another space to celebrate Rayllum Month, not to discourage participation in any existing fandom events. Not so sure about creating something yourself? Cheer on participants with comments, reblogs, and support!

Q: What is the maximum word count for this event? A: 10,000 Words

Q: What characters are allowed in this event? A: All characters are welcome to be part of this event, however the focus needs to be on two or more of the characters in the Monster Hunting Trio.

Q: What ships/pairings are allowed in this event? A: Similar to the above answer, any pairings are allowed to be featured in stories, however the main focus needs to be on one of the following pairings: Steve Harrington/Nancy Wheeler (Stancy), Jonathan Byers/Nancy Wheeler (Jancy), Jonathan Byers/Steve Harrington (Stonathan), or Jonathan Byers/Steve Harrington/Nancy Wheeler. *pairings can be romantic or platonic as long as the bulk of the fic is around at least one of the above pairings

Well, this is the theme for this mini bang!

This is my first time running an event like this so don't worry if you're not sure how these events go because we'll all be learning together.

The subjects of the fics can come in all shapes and sizes, you want to write an absolutely unhinged fic about Destiel in the Cars universe? go for it. You want to make NSFW art of Dean and Cas in the Family Guy style? Okay. There's no need for perfection, in fact, imperfection is encouraged. After all the show itself isn't perfect so why should all the fan-content be?

This event will go by quicker than some bangs both to not take time away from other people's events, and also to makes sure you all don't have time to overthink what you are creating.
