He then looks up at Uncle Raph, eyes softening as he takes in the hulking form of his not-older-brother older brother. His smile is equally soft when he shifts to look down again, reaching to gently hold Bitty’s hand in between his thumb and index finger. 

“Your family is obviously invited, too. Please, join us for lunch? It’s the least I can do in return for such a lovely gift.”

I think Shiro is bad at cooking in a “overcooks everything out of paranoia about raw food and giving someone food poisoning” combined with “I’m busy and need food cooked fast so we’re putting the stove burner on 7 instead of 5” way so everything he makes is a little charred and a little tough and dry and over cooked and he’ll eat it but no one wants him cooking for them ever. I think he does better when recipes have very specific descriptors of how you know it’s done. “Turn off when bubbles form” type things. He’s okay at baking when it has specific directions, or when it’s “when a toothpick comes out clean” but if it’s “golden brown around edges” he will second guess if it’s golden brown or not and burn the cookies. I think he loves appliances like instapot or rice cookers where you dump ingredients in and push settings and it comes out done. Don’t make him make decisions about if food is done he will overthink it and err on the side of caution and burn it.

So the twins ideas of "bliss".

Belphie's was seeing Beel happy right? At first everyone thought it was Beel's bliss to be surrounded by the ultimate buffet. But it wasn't. It was Belphie's idea of bliss to see his twin happy.

Sooooo... the Celestial Realm and the outfits were most likely what Beel thought would make Belphie happy.

We've always suspected that Belphie would be the most likely to want to go back. Belphie has been dwelling in dreams of the past canonically in both games and Beel, as his twin, would know that better than anyone. So I think its a safe assumption that he would think that being in the Celestial Realm would make him happy and Belphie's happiness is his happiness just as the same applies to how Belphie feels about Beel's happiness.

I know. It doesn't exactly eliminate concerns about the brothers doing a 180° and suddenly being cool about the awful things that happened. Lucifer's part in Cocytus was and still is weird and concerning. But I think it's also important to remember that no matter how much trauma an individual suffered it doesn't just make the happy memories go away. They lived in the Celestial Realm for (probably) millenia and they have all kinds of memories of that place as their home. Expecting them to hate their home is maybe going a little far despite the bad things. Yes. Even for Satan.

I still don't think they want to go back. Or at least I hope that's not what we're heading towards. Honestly I want to theorize that Asmo only suggested going to the Celestial Realm either because he wants to flaunt how well he's doing or because of the freaky time shenanigans making him think about the first season's events.

My point is, let's read some more lessons and try to be patient until we have more information.
