“Look at you,” Fennec purred as she eyed your figure, “So beautiful,” she ghosted her fingers along your bare skin, “So ready for me.”
“Fennec… Please don’t tease me today,” you begged as you bucked your body into her touch.
She gave you a fake pout, “Oh, but it’s so much fun, my dear.”
You looked up at her from where you laid naked on the bed with a pleading expression, “Please…” the word came out as a desperate whine.
Fennec narrowed her eyes as the tone of your voice went right to her pussy. You knew how to tug at her strings, and she was sure you knew her weakness was when you begged like that. She didn’t even have to tie you down; you stayed still on the bed just from her command alone. Fennec had you wrapped around her finger… but you also had her wrapped around yours.
She reached out and caressed your cheek tenderly, “Alright my love,” her tone softened, “What will it be tonight?” Fennec always gave you a choice. Your ability to choose for yourself was important to her, as was your safety. She looked out for you, both in the bedroom and out of it.
“The cock,” your voice strained as you gripped the sheets below you in anticipation, “For both of us.”
A smirk lit up Fennec’s face, “An excellent choice, my love,” she purred as she reached for the toy.
You wiggled your hips as you readied yourself. From her position between your parted legs, you knew Fennec could see how turned on you were. You could feel your pussy drip as she got the toy ready, and a small whimper escaped your lips before you could stop it.
“Eager, are we?” Fennec asked in a teasing tone.
“Yes, Fennec,” you breathed.
“Good girl,” she cooed as she settled between your legs and eyed your dripping pussy, “You are ready for this already.”
“I told you,” you whispered, “I can’t take the teasing tonight.”
Fennec usually liked to make you beg and plead for her. She loved to play with you, dangle you on the edge for as long as you could stand it until she gave in and gave you what you wanted. She thrived on the expressions and sounds you made as she brought you to the edge before yanking you back again. Fennec spent hours between your legs until you were completely spent before she even thought about her own pleasure. Hell, she even got off herself just on getting you off. But tonight was different. Tonight you needed her and she needed you.
“Can I watch?” your eyes dropped down to her own pussy as she held the toy close.
Fennec fought to suppress a moan of her own, “Only if you ask nicely,” he smirked, regaining her composure.
“Please,” you pleaded.
“That’s my good girl,” she purred as she posited one end of the double sided toy at her entrance.
Fennec let out a moan as she slowly pushed one end of the toy inside her, encouraged by the way you watched with sharp eyes. She breathed heavily as she positioned it deep inside her with the other half sticking out and reeled forward to hover over you.
“Fuck,” you breathed.
She smiled down at you as she positioned the other end at your entrance, “Your turn,” her tone was low as she pushed the tip into you.
You cried out as the thick toy slowly stretched you out. Fennec took great care with you, knowing full well she picked a toy with more girth. But, watching you writhe and moan under her almost made her break her composure and she jerked her hips forward until the toy filled you to the brim.
Both of you gasped as Fennec’s hips met yours. She paused for a moment and looked you over to make sure you weren’t hurt. Your eyes had fluttered shut and you let out slow, heavy breaths as you adjusted to the fullness. But, feeling her gaze on you, you opened your eyes and your heart fluttered in your chest when you saw the way Fennec looked at you.
“I’m alright,” you said, knowing what she was thinking, “Please move,” you pleaded.
Fennec grinned as she leaned forward and took your lips with hers. As your lips parted for her, she thrust her hips forward, swallowing the moan you let out. She started a slow you por[ouseful rhythm, pulling the toy almost completely out of you before slamming back into you hard.
You dropped your head down onto the bed and let out a loud cry of pleasure. Wrapping your arms around her, you surrendered yourself to Fennec as she kept her slow yet firm pace. And you let out a whimper when you felt your pussy against yours, your clits rubbing together and creating that much needed friction.
“Fuck… Fennec…”
“You’re so beautiful, my dear,” she cooed as she picked up her pace, fucking you with the toy.
“Please… Fennec…” you didn’t even know exactly what you begged for, you just knew you needed her.
“I’ve got you, love,” she whispered as she thrust the toy into you harder and faster, “Cum for me.”
Skin slapped against skin as Fennec lost control of her pace and rocked into you with abandon. The toy that filled you both and connected you both hit spots that dove you both wild as Fennec found a new angle. Both of you let out loud moans and you lost yourselves in each other.
Clinging to her, your limbs trembled as your orgasm hit without warning. The warmth spread from your core as Fennec’s toy filled you and her clit rubbed against yours. You let out a loud scream as your climax washed over you.
Fennec was right behind you. Watching you fall apart under her was the last thing she needed to fall apart herself. Feeling your body against hers and hearing you scream her name made her groan, and Fennec leaned forward and bit down on you hard as she came just as hard as you did. She came so hard she saw stars, but the only star that mattered to her was you.
Fully spent, Fennec collapsed down on top of you with a heavy breath. You immediately wrapped your arms and legs around her, holding her close and stroking her back as she came down from ehr high. Fennec never felt anything like this before, and she never had anyone treat her so tenderly as you did. You were special to her, and she never wanted to let you go.
Luckily for Fennec, you were content right where you were. Being under her was the best place in the galaxy to you, where you felt safe and loved and satisfied. Especially when she fucked you like that.

“You keep looking away,” There is a song in her voice, so distinct despite her muffled voice. “Stop that. Look at me. Look how good I make you feel.”
Even with honey dripping off her words, it’s still a command. Sweet, but heavy. You can feel her eyes on you, still feel the glint of mischief warming your skin. With every kiss, with every swipe of her tongue, your body shudders. The memory of Fennec pinning you against the wall is the only thing keeping your hips from rolling against her face.
“Don’t tell me you’ve never actually been with a woman before?” Fennec smirks, her face so close to yours.
“I’ve been with a woman before. Loads actually.” You straighten up, as if a straight back would somehow convince her.
She just laughs, shoving your shoulders until they’re flat against the bricks. “Oh sweetie, I don’t mean a drunk kiss. Or even grabbing a girl’s tits.” She presses her body against yours and slides a thigh between your legs. Your breath hitches as she leans in to kiss your neck, licking up to nibble your earlobe before whispering, “I mean have you ever fucked a woman before? Have you ever tasted a another woman? Make her scream?”
Your rebuttal falls down to the ground by your feet. You can’t pretend, not when she is kissing your neck. Her lips rest against your pulse, the steady pumping of blood giving you away.
“Oh, I’m going to have so much fun with you tonight.”
Her chuckle brings you back from the clouds, the sound dark and light all at the same time. Her hands move to pull up your clitoral hood, her breath hot against your exposed clit. The slight wind from her moving lips making your toes curl.
“Come on, sweetheart, don’t you want to remember this? The first time you have a woman’s mouth on you?”
“I don’t think I’ll ever forget this.” Your words whistle out between your teeth. The growing pleasure pushes down on your chest, your body tightening into a ball. It stops your vocal cords, you can’t form the words to explain how you want Fennec to hold you and how badly you want to please her — but your body can do both.
“Don’t worry. I can tell.”
To prove her point, she dips the wrap her lips around your clit and sucks a staccato gasp from your lips.
“Every single thing I say makes you blush, your pretty pussy keeps getting wetter with every little touch,” Fennec hums, moving her tongue down to your outer lips, pressing a hard lick up your slit, lapping up your dripping wetness as she goes.
“You taste so fucking good,” — Another shudder, another buck of your hips trying to take more than what she is giving — “it’s a shame no one’s ever bothered to taste.”
Her braided hair tickles your inner thighs as you moan her name. This is new. You're new at this. And Fennec knows exactly what to say to make you melt for her.
“I’m tempted to just stay down here. Tease you and see what filthy things give me the most to lick up.”

The twin suns had just begun to peek over the horizon of the Tattooine desert, painting the sky a vivid orange through the dust laden atmosphere. The haze murmured of a distant sandstorm, one that darkens the skies to a gritty, blinding bister. You could imagine the sand, gritty and dark, blistering your eyes and embedding in your skin with the unerring power of the planet’s violent atmosphere. For now, the searing red and pinks of sunrise cast stark but emollient morning shadows long across Boba’s palace.
Despite the early hour, the temperature had already begun to reach the point of discomfort, laying hot against your skin like an oven's breath. The wind picking up over the Jundland whispered of the forming sandstorm. You could feel the growing wind of it flutter under your clothes as you stood in the morning light, pants tucked tight into your boots so avoid the sand and day pack strapped tight to your back where sweat already begins to pool between your shoulders.
Yet you paid no attention to the wafting breeze or the promise of storm or the relative silence of the palace before the day’s activities truly commenced, instead feeling your eyebrows arch into your hairline at the scene in front of you. A certain black-clad, master assassin leant on a speeder bike and observed your surprised expression with a smug smirk splayed across her red lips, arms crossed and hip canted suggestively.
"...Morning." Fennec offered after a beat, balancing against the seat of the bike as it hovered a foot or so off the ground.
"Er...morning." You replied automatically, eyeing the huntress skeptically. Fennec's eyes had that tell-tale twinkle in them that told of her being up to no good. You had learned that look by now, and you knew that, if anything, it meant mischief.
"I- uh...thought you were still off planet." You supplied after silence fell between you both, stammering awkwardly. "Lord Fett didn't say when you'd be returning."
Not that I was paying attention. You wanted to add and bit your tongue instead.
Fennec gave a small shrug, her eyes never breaking yours. "Flew back in last night." She returned simply, not elaborating on the conquests of her secretive adventure. Things you weren’t privy to, like so much of her you were yet to understand.
You shuffled on your feet, feeling a bit awkward in even hinting that you had anticipated her return, feeling a strange bashfulness at the idea Fennec might somehow perceive you as being clingy.
"W-was it a good trip?" You asked at last, scuffing your boots against the dusty entrance to the hangar side door you had eased through before the rest of the palace could wake. The dust clouded at your feet between you, and you watched it if only to avoid the assassin’s peering gaze.
Fennec hummed a note in her throat, and for some reason that alone made you suppress a shiver, the sound almost amused. Your eyes were drawn up again as Fennec shifted, standing up off the bike and sauntering over towards you, hips swaying. The sudden motion makes you freeze, uncertain if you should approach her as well and yet wanting by some instinct to retreat when she looked at you with that stare.
Hungry.
"Did what I had to." She replied noncommittally. "Though it sounds like you had more fun than I did while I was away."
You cringed automatically, remembering the scuffle with the visitor who had leered at your work-mate and had assaulted you. The sound of Boba's blaster shot still rung loudly in your ears, even a day after the incident.
"...You could say that." You muttered, frowning down at your feet and feeling your hands wrap tighter around your bag's straps. "I...wouldn't say it was fun."
Fennec chuckled, and you blinked as a leather clad touch tipped your chin up so you would meet her gaze. The touch alone had a shudder tremble through your frame, body remembering the same way she drew you into her bed, had your crying out for release.
Fennec didn't speak, instead gazing down at your astonished expression almost as if she was searching for something there. You fear she might see the memory, make warmth flood to your face as she tilted her head knowingly, eyes twinkling.
You took the moment to let your own gaze flicker across her face, eyes darting down to her lips and then back up to her eyes once more. Fennec must have noticed this, as the smirk on her lips tugged upwards for just a moment. A forbidden glimpse into her thoughts.
For a moment you thought -wished- she would kiss you, even if it was just a small peck against your lips. A bold and daring taste of her, there and gone before you truly had the chance to savor.
Yet Fennec merely hovered over you for several long moments, eyes dark and searching. You had just thought to let your eyes shut, hiding yourself from her keen, unrelenting stare when her touch vanished from you completely.
"Going into town?" She chirped as she turned and paced back over towards the bike, and for a moment you couldn't respond because your heart was beating so loudly it deafened any other thought.
You took a moment to simply start breathing again, trying to recompose yourself after the dizzying force that was her.
"I- yes." You replied at last. "Fett gave me the day off."
"Odd, he offered me the same." Fennec hummed as she swung a leg over the bike, hitting the starter and letting it hum to life.
One hand seized her helmet from the other side of the vehicle, and she shrugged it on it hid all but her eyes underneath it. You watched her form briefly lay low across the front, figure lean and agile like a panther. Then Fennec turned towards you, and through the gap in her helmet she raised a slender eyebrow at you in question.
"Coming?" She inquired, almost strangely cheerful. "Unless you want to walk, that is."
You gulped.
You had been intending to walk, a trek though it was. You even had enough credits to flag a ride back if need be. It wasn't a pleasant prospect, slogging across the desert, but it was a necessary one. The thought of riding behind Fennec, however, was as alluring as it was intimidating. The thought of your form pressed close up against her back, arms wrapped around her front...
You didn't trust yourself to not become a flustered mess in the process.
"Suns are rising, sand mouse. Better get a move on." Fennec quipped, eyes intent on your hesitating form. Again, you shifted a bit uneasily on your feet, before at last letting them carry you to the bike and gingerly set yourself behind the assassin.
Fennec waited for you to settle, and your hands carefully reached out to settle on her shoulders, clinging to her jacket in an effort to balance yourself properly.
“All set?” She tossed over her shoulder, as if to question your gentle touch- a warning that you may careen off the bike.
“Mhm.” You offered quietly in response, fingers tracing the synth-wear edges of her jacket.
Without a word Fennec let the engine purr to life, and you remembered to take a breath before you both went shooting off into the desert, faster than you could think to gasp. Instantly, the speed at which the bike launched across the dunes made your clothes flutter and legs cling tighter to the speeder below you.
No sooner had you zoomed down the hill leading the palace did you immediately reconsider your notion of not trying to cling to Fennec. With the leaning of the bike, the wind and sand whipping in your face and your hair flying, your hands instantly drifted down to Fennec's waist, where they secured your form by wrapped around to her front so you could lean further into her back.
Fennec's form shuddered for all of a moment, and if it hadn't been for the roar of the engine and whistle of the wind you could have sworn you heard her laugh.
You pressed your face in between her shoulders, telling yourself it was to avoid the sand, and ignoring your smile at the feeling of her firm, lean form tucked against yours.
----
The journey towards town ended far too soon for your liking. Yet you couldn't deny a twinge of relief as Fennec slowed the speeder to a stop just outside the city gates. The dust cloud the bike had kicked up on your abrupt entry floated over you both, beige and gritty, catching in your eyes and clothes.
You coughed once, trying to expel the dust from your lungs despite having buried your face against Fennec's jacket the entire ride to prevent just that. The assassin huffed, and you couldn’t decide if it was her clearing her lungs or being amused at your small plight.
Fennec dismounted in the moment it took for you to look up at the familiar streets, filled with bustling crowds and all shades of strange characters. Mos Espa seemed to not have changed despite the weeks you had spent working at the palace. The rebuilding efforts after the battle between the Fett cartel and the Pike syndicate had progressed, but otherwise the city seemed to remain the same. The townsfolk seemed unbothered by the standing piles of rubble and neatly stacked bricks intended to replace them, or the construction droids that scaled the destroyed tower with rancor claw marks still embedded in the stone.
Various passerby chittered in almost every language you could understand, and several of those you couldn't. Moisture farmers haggled with vendors in the entrance to the market, and Jawas skittered across the street, eyeing the speeder bike you sat on greedily. Several pairs of eyes glanced at you, and then to the dark-clad enforcer standing beside you, heads turning as Fennec’s reputation proceeded her, with your subdued figure sitting behind her.
You were so distracted you almost didn't notice the black leather gloved hand extended to you. Blinking, you looked up at Fennec, who had her helmet again tucked under her arm and a hand held out to you to help you off the bike. You took it gratefully, feeling a small, pleasant flutter in your stomach at the strangely chivalrous gesture from the assassin.
"Where to first, sand mouse?" She quipped as soon as you were on your feet, then paused to send a scathing look at the Jawas who had wandered just a step closer to the bike, sending them scattering.
You felt a smile tug at your lips at the stern disapproval that flittered across her expression, then blinked at her in surprise, noticing the unspoken meaning of her words.
"I thought you had business in town?" You asked, confusion tinting your words.
"I do." Fennec replied instantly, her eyes snapping back to yours brightly, a smile hidden under her gaze. "It's right in front of me."
…Oh.
As if the heat of the twin suns wasn't enough, you felt yourself flush under her gaze, heart stammering in girlish infatuation. Even now, despite all the time you had spent with Fennec, it was always the simple words of hers that managed to always catch you off guard.
Unable to keep her gaze, you lowered your eyes to your lap, leaning back until the backs of your knees bumped the bike. Yet Fennec merely crowded closer, and when your eyes flicked up to her face you could see that damned smirk playing across her face again, as if amused by your chaste bashfulness.
"A-are you sure?" You tried, voice weak despite your valiant attempts otherwise. "I'm sure you have plenty to do, after all, being Fett's enforcer."
You were practically sitting back on the bike again now, sideways on the seat. Yet Fennec only managed to press closer, and your heart thrummed loudly as one of her knees slipped between yours.
"Even enforcers get days off." The huntress hummed low, words soft enough for only you to hear despite the number of passerby that had begun to notice her blatant gestures towards you.
This was unlike her, you thought. To be this blatant with her affections. You were practically in the middle of the street, but here she was pressing you into the bike she had driven you here on, practically gleeful at your squirming.
Eyes wide, you looked down stubbornly at your lap, feeling your lips twitch in a somewhat pleased smile at the thought of those passing by and seeing Fennec clearly stake her claim on you for all to see.
You inhaled a stuttering breath, trying vainly to compose yourself despite the rush that Fennec's flirtations brought you. Yet inside you wanted nothing more than to hide your face in your hands shyly, feeling the eyes of the market pressing down on you both.
"...Okay." You breathed at last, both hoping and praying that Fennec would and wouldn't give you some space.
Oddly, she didn't. It was only once you looked up at her, her dark form blotting out the sunlight and letting a shadow fall over you, that you saw why.
In a single heartbeat Fennec bent down, planting upon your forehead a fleeting peck before straightening once more.
Any other thought you could have harbored came to a screeching halt, with you spluttering just as Fennec’s laughter rang tinnily in your ears.
“Keep up, sand mouse.” She offered to your embarrassment, even as you lifted an arm to shield your face with your bashfulness.
As she donned her helmet, you could almost see a dusting of pink across her cheeks, pleased and strangely demure. The sight alone made a smile spread across your lips, and briefly you ducked your head to hide your widening grin before trotting to catch up to the huntress.
---
The bazaar was bustling as you two made your way through the tented vendors and various stalls lining the wide street. Calls rang out in every direction, spoken in Hutteese, Basic, Jawa, and possibly every other language you could name off-hand. The suns had passed the horizon now, shining brightly down on the square and letting the sand and stone under your feet bake in the heat.
Despite the wide street, the market was already becoming packed, and more than once you felt yourself jostled or pushed aside as another, larger shape moved past you. You mumbled a series of apologies for bumping people, despite not even being noticed most of the time when you yourself were shoved partly aside. Still, you made your way forward, trying to get to the part of the market with the soaps and shampoos you had saved your wages for, longing for the sweet floral scents of other planets.
Fennec trailed behind you, seemingly happy to let you lead the way as you weaved through the crowd ahead of her. Yet if you ventured too far, walked too fast, it was a gloved hand on your shoulder that would draw you back, ensure you stayed close to her side. A glance towards her showed her expression remained indiscernible under the helmet coy eyes sliding to you and signaling once more for you to lead the way.
It’s an endearing gesture, one you couldn’t help but smile to yourself at, your huntress so intent on ensuring you didn’t stray from her sight. You tried to ignore the inclination to tell yourself it was almost possessive. Territorial, allowing others to see who you belonged to.
You blinked as you realize the sentiment gently revealed to you, with your mind occupied by thoughts of the woman who also occupied your bed.
Her.
Perhaps not yet, but in a way you so desperately wanted to be. In a way you hoped you’d be to her some day too.
You considered it further as you bent over the vendor stall packed with various tins of cream and soap, ogling the vast array of goods. Expensive though they were, you wanted desperately to indulge, knowing your scarce water supply was something to be enjoyed to the fullest extent possible. The thought of bathing with deluxe conditioner and bath soaps, of floating around Boba’s palace smelling of desert roses and feeling the wanting eyes of others looking after what they couldn’t have admittedly thrilled you.
“-and this one will ease those sore muscles after a long day at the moisture farm, eh?” The Duros woman before you offered, shoving yet another container in your direction. You lifted it up to your nose, inhaled the deep, rich scent of a flower you didn’t recognize, a bloom from a distant world you might never see.
“Or…” and now a small bottle offered in your direction with a strange amber liquid that smelled sweet and musky as you lifted it to your face. “Add this to your wash basin in the morning and your skin will be as smooth as Mandalorian beskar! Glowing like the three moons!”
“How much for both?” You asked quietly, just loud enough to be heard over the bustle of the market, and the Duros vendor rubbed her hands greedily at your question.
“Two-hundred credits for the batch!” She announced gleefully, much to your dismay. “I’ll even toss in a bar of bantha soap to boot.”
You looked despairingly down at your wallet, eyeing at the meager one hundred and fifty credits that twinkled from the purse. Frowning, you looked back and forth between the bottles, biting your lip as you tried to decide.
Fennec, who up until then had been idly watching your transaction with a mildly disinterested gaze, shifted beside you. You had nearly forgotten she was there with how still the huntress held herself. Like a cat crouching in the ferns. You saw her out of the corner of your eyes as she leaned over the vast array of perfumes and soaps, feigning interest before reaching into her pocket to withdraw her own credits.
“Two hundred?” She asked, amusement flitting through her voice at the seemingly paltry sum. “What does three-hundred get her?”
You blanched.
“F-Fennec.” You tried, aghast at her sudden display, even as the credits clinked down onto the counter. “T-that’s-“
“Sabbacc change.” She finished for you, head tilting and eyes sliding over to yours to regard your flummoxed expression. “My treat.”
The vendor, for what she was worth, seemed as surprised as you are. Yet her shock lasted only a moment, for soon she scrambled to push even more containers and bottles in your directions, stammering out her offerings.
“I-if that’s the case-! T-then maybe try this moisturizer, with water distilled from Bespin city-“
“Done.” Fennec interjected bluntly, shoving over the credits and swiping your purchases up into her hands, making a point to spin you around in her arms and deposit them in your rucksack before you could so much as protest.
Even as you spluttered, Fennec merely fastened her hand around your wrist, her eyes crinkling with glee and mischief as you were dragged off away from the stall, the vendors tinny ‘Come again soon!’ ringing out behind you.
“F-Fen-“ You tried even as you stumble after her, giddy and confused and in disbelief all at once. “You didn’t have to-“
“I did.” The assassin returned simply with a shrug, and despite her nonchalance you found delight dancing in her gaze as she glanced at you. “Now let’s get you some clothes to match. I can’t have you running around in rags, little sand mouse.”
You thought you heard your heart thump in your chest, skipping helplessly as the sun burned down onto you both. Yet the brightness there wasn’t nearly as dazzling as the glimmering twinkle in her beautiful dark eyes, the sight alone akin to laughter that bubbled up your throat in helpless delight.
Yours. Your heart murmured again as it called out to her, the warmth of her gloved hand spilling against your wrist and setting your tender heart aflame.

A/N Considering the returns on my most recent poll, I figured I should get this slightly steamy little idea I've had for a while out there in the world.
Tumblr media
Vox had never been one to make deals with lesser demons, to take their souls. No, that was Valentino's thing. Vox didn't need to own a soul to get a demon to do what he wanted for one, and for another, Vox didn't particularly like people. He preferred to work alone, to be alone. Life was much more productive that way.
The other Vees were different. Vox allowed them in his life because they were useful, they solidified and expanded his power. Anyone else was just a waste of time and space.
Speaking of the other Vees, Vox right now was on his way to visit Valentino. At Velvette's request, he was aiming to talk to the man about whatever scene he'd instigated at a club the night before. It just happened to be his luck because of course it was his fucking luck that the only spare moment he had to deal with the situation was when Val was filming.
Vox burst through the studio doors, making a beeline for Valentino who sat in a director's chair before the set. He was well practiced at approaching his business partner while the man was working and averted his eyes, trying his best to keep focus on the task at hand.
"Val." he hummed in irritation as he came to a stop beside the moth demon's chair, "What did you do last night?"
Valentino blew out a puff of pink smoke, fixing his eyes on Vox.
"Whatever do you mean?"
The feigned innocence coming from this man was laughable. Vox rolled his eyes. He opened his mouth to speak, to reveal what Velvette had told him. By chance, just at that moment, he happened to look away.
It wasn't on purpose. There had been a sound from the set that had involuntarily grabbed Vox's attention. His eyes widened, his screen glitching with fury as he turned back to Valentino.
"What the fuck is that?" he asked pointing to the set.
There, in the middle of the bed was a demon. That was far from unusual, as was the demon's half dressed state. What was unusual was the fact that the demon had been dressed up to look exactly like Vox himself. Well, not exactly. The actor had a box over his head with a fake screen on the front. A cheap costume but one that was most certainly supposed to be him.
There was another demon beneath him, a short thing with with wide eyes and the large ears of a fennec fox. It was then that the sound that caught his attention registered with Vox. Trapped under the other actor's arms, his lips to her neck, she had moaned his name.
"Hmm?"
Val lazily threw his gaze to the stage before smiling.
"Just my newest project. Don't you worry."
"Val, I am definitely worried. I want you to cancel this, right now."
"Oh comon Voxy!" Valentino pleaded, "Think of all the money it would bring in! Half of Hell wants to get dicked down by you for Christ's sake."
Vox folded his arms over his chest, actively not looking at the pair who were still on stage. They had not stopped what they were doing for the sake of the overlord's conversation and Vox was so high strung that he nearly flinched at the sound of fabric tearing.
"Val."
His voice came out deep and mangled, as if his speakers were turned up way too loud. Vox's eye twitched slightly in irritation, his hands clenched into fists. Valentino just watched him for a moment before sighing. Waving his hand, he turned to the stage.
"That's a wrap everyone!" he called and Vox turned to watch at the whole crew of demons, including the pair of actors, turned to their boss, "We're trashing this script."
If anyone had complaints, they dared not voice them before the two overlords. Slowly, the crew began to pack up.
"Thank you." Vox reluctantly said to Val.
His eyes were fixed on the two actors, something that did not escape Valentino's notice as he waved the words of thanks off.
"You owe me one."
"Whatever."
The man had pulled himself from the bed by now and discarded the false head he'd been wearing. With a kindly smile, he held a hand out to the girl he'd been on top of just moments before. She sat up, leaning back on her arms. Vox watched her lips move and though he couldn't hear what she said over the clamor, he assumed it must've been a joke as the other demon laughed.
Gently, and with much more grace than Vox could have thought she was capable of, she took the demons hand and brought herself off the bed. Vox's breath caught in his throat because of course, of fucking course, Valentino had decided to dress her like that.
If Val was good at anything, it was guessing someone's kinks just by looking at them. A party trick but in practice, very useful for his line of work. The demon was dressed in blue and red lingerie, running like twisting wires over her limbs, pressing gently into her skin in just the right way. The remnants of a black dress, the source of the earlier sound of torn fabric no doubt, lay in the imprint of her body on the bed. Vox didn't care if it was predictable, she looked fucking hot.
With that specific breed of confidence that seems only to belong to pornstars, the pair began heading toward the door. Muffled, as if through water, Vox heard Valentino ask him something.
"Yeah." Vox absently replied, tearing his eyes away from the pair and meeting Valentino's gaze.
Val smirked up at him knowingly.
"You alright there Voxy?" he hummed, "Fox got your tongue?"
"I am not going to deign that with a response. If you ever pull shit like this agai-"
"Yeah yeah. Doll!"
Vox followed Val's shifted line of sight to see that the girl had stopped by the door which was being held open for her by her scene partner. She turned to face Val, suddenly taking on a much more demure demeanor than she had previously displayed. Hands clasped before her, she met her boss's eyes across the expanse of the room.
"Yes?" she called, her voice like music.
"Val." he warned under his breath for what felt like the umpteenth time.
Valentino, of course, ignored him, seeking his own entertainment and profit above all else.
"Come here for a second, would you?"
She nodded, saying something to the demon behind her over her shoulder. With a shrug, he left the room, letting the door fall shut behind him. Stepping carefully between the frantic workers, the girl made her way across the room to Vox and Val. She stopped before Val's chair, looking up at him through her lashes.
"What did you want to see me for, sir."
Her words were careful, perfectly annunciated.
"Back here in ten. You've got another job."
"Yes, Valentino." she replied, bowing her head just the slightest bit towards the man.
Val's wicked grin widened.
"Wear the white."
"Yes, Valentino."
It was like those were the only two words she knew. She treated the horrific man before her with the utmost respect, never once taking her eyes off of him.
"You may go."
Val waved her off with a lazy flick of his hand.
"Thank you, sir."
Another slight bow and the girl turned, her hair splaying out slightly at the ends from her sudden movement. As she made for the door once again, she shot a momentary glance at Vox. It was as if the world had stopped turning the second their eyes met. It felt like an eternity of him losing himself in their sticky softness. Then, she was gone.
Vox didn't understand what was happening. Sure, he had found people attractive before. He'd engaged in hookups, wasted time on the occasional relationship but nothing -- nothing -- had ever been like this. Every time he shut his eyes, there she was. Every spare second, his mind drifted to her. He found himself staring off into space, the image of that wry smile she had shot her costar as he had helped her off the bed burned into his memory.
The worst part was she was one of Val's girls and Val's girls were always trouble. The look they had shared, the scene she had been in, the way his name had sounded spilling from her soft lips, Vox knew it meant nothing to her. She had probably already forgotten it by now. The worst part was, it wasn't nothing to him. His muscles tensed at just the thought of the sound, at the idea of him being the one to actually make her beg for him rather than some cheap excuse for a facsimile. The worst part was, he didn't even know her name. In Val's gaze, she was just another body to profit off of. She was a doll, unworthy of any other title. The idea of someone seeing her so cheaply made him glitch because god, he had only met her once, but she was so much more than a toy. Vox was sure of it.
Wrapped in fantasy, he crafted an image of the girl. Vox imagined her patterns of being, what she must be like as a person -- so obedient but with that dry sense of humor he had attributed to her with no evidence save that she'd managed to make one person laugh in front of him one time. Vox never expected to see her again. He thought that the demon would be forever relegated to his dreams, to the recesses of his mind. He thought she'd be dead in a week, with Val's track record.
Vox pulled himself from his desk chair with a sigh. Three hours had passed and he just couldn't bring himself to be productive. She was a menace, a true vixen with those fox ears and tail to match. He would curse her very name for what she was doing to him if he knew what it was.
"Some fresh air. That's all I need." he said to the emptiness of his office, "Yeah."
The back doors of the Vee's building were seldom used, even by the people who worked there. Half the paparazzi didn't even know that they existed and so, he planned his escape. Of course it had to be his luck because it was always his goddamn luck these days wasn't it that the second he opened the door, it was to the smell of cigarette smoke and the image of a demon leaning against the building's brick exterior.
Vox let the door fall shut behind him with a heavy bang. The demon shot him a glance out of the corner of her eye, taking a long drag of her cigarette.
"Escaping?" she asked.
He hadn't wanted anyone to see him. More importantly, he hand't wanted to see anyone, let alone talk to him. Vox sighed, adjusting his sleeves as he turned to face the demon fully.
She looked up at him, squinting slightly against the sun. Vox's heart stuttered in his chest. She looked... different and it wasn't just because she was fully dressed this time. There was no doubt about it however, this was the demon from the studio just a few weeks before.
None of the playful joy or diligent respect from their last encounter remained in her features, she just looked tired. Black jeans and a leather jacket, hair pulled up and away from her face, not a speck of makeup to be seen besides the smudged remnants of mascara beneath her eyes.
"You... you're that... you're one of Val's..."
"Victims?" she chuckled ruefully, "Yeah. I am."
"You're the one from..."
"Last week? Yep. Sorry about that, by the way. If it's any consolation, it was uncomfortable for us too."
Vox was speechless, stunned, utterly taken aback and completely blindsided. The exact thing he was trying to escape, standing before him and utterly contrary to his every previously conjured image.
"Want a smoke?"
"Uh, no thanks. Don't smoke."
The girl shrugged.
"Mind if I do."
"No."
She took another long drag, watching the smoke she blew out as it hung blue in the air. She shot him a sidelong glance.
"You just gonna stand there?"
"You ask a lot of questions."
She laughed. Vox wasn't expecting her to do that.
"S'pose I do."
The idea of a walk had long left Vox's mind. He leaned against the wall across from her in the cramped ally, watching as she anxiously checked the time.
"Goddamn."
She lowered her arm, shaking the sleeve of her jacket back over the watch and looking wistfully out towards the exit of the ally.
"Val?"
"Val."
"You seem... you're different than I expected you to be."
"Thats your fault for having expectations."
She smiled at him like a shark watching prey and he nodded his head to the side in mild agreement.
"What's your name?"
Her smile fell, eyes widening slightly. One of her ears twitched and Vox could hear the sound of her tail shifting against the wall. The world felt so far away. Right now, there was nothing else in existence except for himself, the ally, and the fox before him.
"Vix..." she bowed theatrically after a moment, "is my porn name."
Her eyes shot up to his as she finished her phrase, the same confident and, he now realized, performative smile curling the edges of her lips.
"But my parents called me Y/n."
The demon straightened herself up, holding a hand out to Vox. He regarded it carefully for a moment before placing his hand in hers.
"Vox."
"I know."
Y/n took a final drag from her cigarette, stamping the butt out on the ground beneath the heavy heel of her boot.
"Well," she sighed with one last look to the shock of sky they could see between the buildings, "I best be going. Nice meeting you."
"Wait!"
Vox hadn't meant to say it, nor had he meant to frantically latch onto her arm. Y/n flinched slightly under the contact, stilling before the door and turning back to him, her brow furrowed.
"Why do you..." he cleared his throat, his cheeks flushing slightly pink, "How'd you end up... working... here."
Y/n laughed again. She had to admit, his flustered state was rather endearing, not at all what she had expected from one of the most feared overlords in all of Hell.
"For Val?" she asked and he nodded in response, "Same as every other wayward soul. He offered me something I couldn't refuse, and I was too naive to understand the price."
It took Vox a moment for her words to register with him, for her cryptic language to translate in his mind.
"He owns your soul?"
Y/n nodded once, all traces of amusement having fallen from her face.
"For what."
"Fame! Money! Riches!" she sarcastically called out with wild swings of her arms.
She stilled in her movements, a wry smile flashing across her face as she met his eyes again, her arms falling to her sides.
"Really?"
"Nah, I'm not that classy. I needed protection."
"From what?"
"Anything. I was new and I was afraid."
"And now you're trapped."
"Now I am trapped." Y/n concurred solemnly, "And I have to go."
"Do you want to go?"
Y/n thought for a moment before shaking her head.
"You're not what I expected you to be."
"Thanks?" Vox questioned after a moment, "I am not sure if you meant that as a compliment."
"Yeah."
It was a noncommittal answer and one that sent sparks of anxiety like shards of broken glass through him.
"I meant more so do you want to go to Val."
"Do I want to go get fucked by twenty guys or whatever he's gonna have me do? Of course fucking not. I don't really have a say in the matter so its not really important what I want."
"Of course it's important what you want."
Vox's mouth was moving a hundred times faster than his head. He couldn't seem to make it stop. Y/n's eyes went wide, she shook her head slightly as if ridding it of a thought.
"Maybe in another afterlife." she joked.
"What if... what if I could... fix this for you."
A pause, tense and full of longing. An intake of breath.
"What do you mean?"
"If you make a contract with another demon, Val's would be void."
"Another demon like you."
"Yes."
"I..."
She trailed off, looking up at him with wide eyes. Her tail wagged once happily behind her before all traces of hope were swallowed once again by the utter desolation.
"I dug my grave, Vox."
"But you don't have to lie in it."
He was practically begging her, his hand on her arm again. He couldn't recall when he had placed it there after her wild movements earlier in detailing her deal had thrown it from her. She looked down, examining the place where flesh made contact with leather. Y/n's eyes met his again, she shook him off.
"One deal is bad enough. Trading chains for chains doesn't change anything."
"But it could."
"Look, Vox. I have to go."
Y/n turned her back on him and opened the door. She hesitated for a moment, leaning on it's edge.
"It was nice to meet you."
Vox watched as she disappeared, the door slamming behind her.

Cyno’s Ultimate Guide to Wooing You (tips from Tighnari)
Edit: Cyno x female!reader
You and Cyno have been friends for a very long time.
That’s why the boy never expected that he would develop feelings out of nowhere, especially not right when you smash an  Ajilenakh nut with his pole arm in anger.
He could have sworn his heart went doki doki along with the broken nut.
“You have got to be kidding me,” was all Tighnari could say when Cyno approached him on the very same day with the biggest blush ever.
“She was glowing Tighnari,” Cyno furrowed his eyebrows as he looked off into the distance. “The Love Archon have placed a curse on me-“ “there is no love archon you lummox.”
After a long ass debate and Cyno listing down pros and cons of liking you, the fennec boy decided this topic went on long enough and decided to just throw some suggestions.
“Why not just ask her out on a date? Woo her with something. If I recall, Y/N said she liked charcoal cake.”
And that’s how The Guide to Wooing You (Ft. Tighnari) book was created.
First Operation: date
Now, you and Cyno have been friends for a very long time, meaning you’ve done much activities together.
When Cyno asked you out, you took it as an average hangout and the day turned into a whole TCG war.
Cyno has no idea how you guys ended up in Port Ormos, both of your decks out with his strongest cards in his hand. People surround you two, all in awe at the amazing strategic display in front of them. No, to say he is confused is an understatement.
“Wait Y/N-“ “No I’m not falling for that again Cyno.” “No, we weren't supposed to be playing.” “Wow I can’t believe you just threw that card out, how am I supposed to win that?” “Wait that was unintentional-“
He never got to confess. But at least he won the game.
Second Operation: food
On the day he was free he barged into the Sumeru tavern, causing a few scholar to run out screaming as he approached the counter with menacing aura.
“One charcoal cake. Do you have a pink ribbon? Wrap it with a pink ribbon. Maybe add a heart on the cake if possible. Write the name ‘Y/N’ on it. I expect no word comes out about me here.”
When you see it, you roar with laughter. “Bruh, this is the funniest thing you pulled so far!”
Tighnari gets no sleep that night as Cyno comes into his room and murmurs by himself in the corner, confused as to what exactly is he doing wrong.
Third Operation: physical contact
Cyno wipes his hand on his shorts for the 15th time as he awaits for you at Gandarvha Ville. Today was the day of his next operation: hand holding.
Cyno wasn’t the type to force any physical contact, unless it’s to punish all evil wrongdoing. But today he was going to go the opposite way.
He will brush his hand against yours, and if you don’t move away he will then proceed to look into your eyes as a sign of love affirmation. You will be struck by his determination and then he will move to intertwine his fingers with yours. And then he will confess.
“Hey Cyno! You’re here early,” you appear in your goddess glory, your smile so dazzling the Mahamatra has to block it out with his hand.
“What a sight to behold.” “Did you say something?”
When you two walked together, people were clearing the path. You figured it was because of Cyno’s title, but in reality it was because of his red shot eyes that was glaring at your hand.
Above you both is Tighnari using his binoculars to watch you both. He mutters curses specially at the Matra, and Cyno could’ve sworn he felt chills go down his spine for no reason.
Do it now you imbecile! Touch her hand! What in the archons are you doing?
Cyno’s heart was thumping so fast he thought you could hear it. He swallowed as he stared at your hand, the delicate fingers that was tempting him to lic-hold it.
“Cyno?” He snapped his attention to your worried face. He inhaled when you step so close to him that your faces were mere inches away.
Tighnari gasped. Are you guys kissing? Why the hell are you guys kissing first?
“Are you okay? You look really stressed,” Your eyebrows furrow together, your cheeks pouting out so slightly.
Your magnificent breath tickled his face, your doe eyes peering into his wide dilated ones. He could smell the faint chicken wings you ate earlier on your body. He could see your collar bones just saying hello to him. Your hair tickle his face as well as his bangs to yours. He looks back up to your eyes and he finally utters his response.
“Stressed? More like I’m a damsel in distress.”
Tighnari to this day doesn’t know how that was a joke to Cyno.
Operation four: Just confess
“Now we all know you have this natural instinct of throwing in a stupid joke out of nowhere,” Tighnari covers Cyno’s mouth before he could retort. “Now imagine I am Y/N. Show me how you’re going to confess to me.”
“No what the f-” “Do you really want to ruin the biggest operation with another joke?” “…”
Cyno sighs and the two boys sit facing each other. Tighnari crosses his arms and mimics your voice in a ridiculously high tone, “Hey Cyno! What’s up?”
“Hey Y/N, um…there’s something I’ve always wanted to tell you,” Cyno inhales, trying to pretend the boy in front of him was his favorite girl. He smiles when his decent looking friend’s face morphs into your beautiful features. “We’ve been friends for so long and I know it’s definitely hard to believe but…I really like you. To me, you’re the most beautiful star in the desert night, the star that guides me to my destination. Will you be mine?”
“Wow Cyno I’m so happy!” Tighnari sings happily with a horrifying giggle. “See, that wasn’t so bad-”
A big thud silences them all.
The two boys slowly look to the side in horror as both you and Collei stand at the doorway stunned. Collie’s basket is on the floor, and an apple rolls to Cynos’ foot.
“I always knew master and Cyno had something!” Collei runs out the door, covering her face in glee as her OTP has finally come true.
Cyno’s face pales as you blink at him and then at Tighnari and then back to him. Then you turn away quickly before they can hear you snort with laughter.
General Mahamatra and General Watchleader weren’t seen for a few days, but there were rumors circulating that the WatchLeader was trying to kill the Mahamatra.
Final operation: Cyno
“Just be yourself Cyno,” Tigh’s words repeat in the boy’s mind. “What do you think will get your feelings across as Cyno? Think about it, and then face Y/N when you’re ready.”
Truth to be told, Cyno has never been open about his own feelings to anyone before. Sure, he told his best (and only) friend that he likes you, sure he beat up sinners to express his irritation of them forcing him out into the desert for three days just to bring them back, but it’s different with you.
He enjoyed all the times he’s had with you, all the moments where you and him argued about who won, the moments where you fed him food when he was loaded with work, the moments when you smiled at him when he would come to see you...he treasured every single second.
He was scared that if you did not return his feelings, your friendship would be broken. You meant that much to him.
But he knew if this one-sided feeling went on much longer he will go crazy and full of hope. He can decide how to proceed with his feelings once he gets an answer from you.
You finally appear. You look around the rather grassy area, before looking up at the night sky full of stars.
Cyno watches with adoration as your eyes light up at the sky. It must be the same look he has when he’s with you.
He silently approaches you with a familiar book in his hand, and you finally see him.
He hands you the book and you blink at it curiously before you open the book and read the contents.
He slowly smiles as a blush spread across your cheeks as you read over each operation listed down and the attempts the poor boy made to gain your affection.
“How did I miss all this?” You whisper, bringing the back of your hand to your face as your ears burn. “Cyno I...”
He places a hand on your arm and comes forward. His eyes are so full of desperation you can already hear what’s he going to say.
“I’m not supposed to be…having these feelings as a Matra. It’ll only get in the way, but...I do have feelings for you Y/N. I enjoy my time with you, I enjoy eating with you. I enjoy fighting with you. I like you. I am in love with you. Will you be the padisarah to my Duel Soul recipe?”
A few days later rumors go around that the General Mahamatra has been stalking a certain girl and the girl is a criminal waiting to be caught in the act.
It’s only a few days later (again) that there is confirmation that the girl is actually the General Mahamatra’s beloved girlfriend.
Omg this was so bad but so funny at the same time aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Sorry if this seemed so rushed, but it came to me in the middle of the night, and I had to write it all down! Hope you guys enjoyed it! :,)
Edit: whoa thanks for the love guys! Can’t believe this got so much attention, I’m happy I managed to give some laughs!

static lullaby
Alastor x Reader
[summary: you were having trouble sleeping and a certain radio demons decided to help]
[warning: mentions of parents arguing: mentions of death: maybe alastor is ooc did my best]
[a/n: you’re like a fennec fox not small but your ears are big also did i do good?]
You whimpered, curling up under the covers. Your ears drooped over the side of your head, as thunder roared outside. Causing you to yelp, as you hid underneath the covers. Of course, the forecast called for heavy acid rain with of course, a thunderstorm.
You yelped, peeking your head out from under the covers. Coming face to face with Alastor, your eyes widened in shock. You didn’t hear him enter your room, you were sure you looked your door.
A loud strike of green lightning, cause you to help. Hiding back underneath the covers, leaving shaking mass. Alastor smiled, raising his an eyebrow with intrigue. “Afraid of lighting are we?” He asked, a hint of static to his voice.
You hummed in response, slowly peeking your head from the covers. “I-I don’t like loud noises,” You mumbled, your ears drooped at your side.
He looked at your curiously, is signature grin plastered on his face. His head slightly tilted, the fear in your eyes told him plenty. You remembered, everything about when you died the loud noises, your parents arguing. A loud bang.
You yelped, hiding underneath the covers once again. Alastor couldn’t help but chuckle softly. You felt embarrassed, causing your cheeks to turn red. “It’s quite alright my dear,” said Alastor, causing you to peek your head up from underneath the covers. He sat on the edge of your bed, and gave you a pat on the head.
You yawned, rubbing your eyes just wanting to sleep. “I just wanna sleep but the thunder is so loud.” You mumbled, looking at the radio demon.
“Such, dreadful weather preventing my dear Y/n from getting their rest.” He said, your cheeks turning a slight tint of red. You hid the lower half of your face, underneath the covers.
“C-Can you maybe stay till I fall asleep, a-and can you maybe sing to me?” You asked sheepishly, fiddling with your fingers.
“Why, but of course.” He said, and allowed you to rest your head on his lap, he started him which sounded of static. You smiled, as immediately your eyes grew heavy. You were shocked, that Alastor was letting you rest your head in his lap. You thought he’d recoil from your touch. But he didn’t.
Your eyes slowly becoming heavier and heavier by the second, the sound of static soothing almost like a lullaby. your mother used to hum to you when you were a child. you let out a soft yawn, before completely succumbing to sleep.
If he could control the weather he would, just so that the lightning and thunder clouds. Wouldn’t bother you anymore.
You were quite the entertaining individual to Alastor. You were new to the Hazbin Hotel, hoping for a chance to reunite with your younger brother. Which was all Alastor knew, your backstory a mister. The reason of why such a sweet and kind individual, ended up in such a cruel place.
He hummed, ‘You’re Never Fully Dress Without a Smile’ a faint smile grew across your lips. As you fell further into a dreamless sleep.
As well taking further interests of the infamous Radio Demon.
[a/n: did did I do good? I hope it doesn’t feel rushed.. or forced if needed I can make more parts to show their previous interactions]

Such a pretty sight.
Din Djarin x reader
Summary: Toro Calico drags Mando into his hunt, which drags the Mandalorian's riduur and child into it as well.
Warnings: blasters, cursing, kidnapping, weird comments
Masterlist
Tumblr media
....................................................................
"Where are we going?"
Din turned back to look at his riduur. "I'm finding work."
This didn't help her confusion. "Then why am I coming with you?"
He turned to start walking again, "Because Mesh'la, you need a break from the kid. Now, put your mask back on."
She huffed under her breath but didn't argue.
When she started traveling with Din, he had given her a mask that fitted the bottom half of her face. It was simply for her safety, considering the wanted child they carried with them.
"Hey, droid, I'm a hunter. I'm lookin' for some work." The Mandalorian leaned on the bar, Y/N awkwardly standing behind him.
"Unfortunately, the Bounty Guild no longer operates from Tatooine."
"I'm not looking for Guild work."
The girl's head snapped up. What is Din doing?
"I am afraid that does not improve your situation, at least by my calculation."
A voice came from across the cantina, "Think again, tin can."
Y/N could feel the slight annoyed feeling in Din purely by his stance. He turned to look at the man who had interrupted them.
"If you're looking for work, have a seat, my friend." The man was young and cocky, Y/N could tell that much. "I'm Toro, Toro Calico." He pointed to the table he was sitting at, "C'mon, relax."
Y/N stepped forward slightly, her voice slightly muffled through the modulator of her small mask, "Mandalorians don't relax."
Toro smiled, "How about pretty girls?"
Din scoffed under his mask and moved to sit at the table, Y/N following behind.
Toro puts down his Bounty Puck, "Picked this up before I left the Mid Rim. It's Fennec Stand, an Assassin. I heard she's been on the run since the New Republic put all her employers in lockdown." He stared into Din's visor, which gave him nothing to read from him.
Din's deep, even voice calm through the modulator, "I know the name."
"Well, I followed this tracking fob here. Now the positional data suggests she's headed out beyond the Dune Sea." Toro looks over to Y/N with a charming smile, "Should be an easy job."
Din was getting annoyed, "Well, good luck with that." He got up from the table, holding his hand out to help Y/N stand.
Toro was surprised, "Wait, wait, wait, hey. I thought you needed work?"
Din turned sharply, "How long have you been with the Guild?"
"Long enough."
"Clearly not. Fennec Shand is an elite mercenary. She made her name killing for all the top crime syndicates, including the Hutts." He balanced his weight onto his other foot, "If you go after her, you won't make it past sunrise."
He grabbed Y/N's wrist gently, pulling her away from the table.
Toro groaned and moved to follow them, "This is… my first job. You can keep the money, all of it. I just need the job to get into the Guild." He scoffed, "I can't do it alone."
Din considered the plea, "Meet me at Hanger three-five in half an hour."
Toro looked relieved. But Din wasn't done.
"...bring two speeder bikes and give me the tracking fob."
Toro's eyes widened, his gaze shifting from the Mandalorian to the girl before he smashed the fob against the wall.
Din's head tilted in anger, and even his riduur was nervous.
Toro smiled, "Don't worry, got it all memorized."
Din's voice lowered, "Half an hour."
The man nodded. He turned to Y/N again, "And do I get to know your name before you leave?"
Her eyes widened, her lips slightly parted under her mask in slight shock. She turned to Din.
But before she could answer, Din's voice broke through, "No."
And he grabbed her hand, pulling her out of the cantina.
Toro yelled on their way out, "Looks like you're stuck with me now, partners."
The walk back to the Razor Crest was tense and she was unsure what to say.
They walked up the ramp.
As she went to say something, Din stopped as if he hit a brick wall.
She stopped behind him, "…Din?"
The kid was gone.
Din ran out, leaving Y/N behind.
He kicked at the droid near the Razor Crest, his voice a low growl, "WHERE IS HE??"
Peli Motto ran out with the child in her arms, "Quiet! Oh!" She shushes the child, "You woke it up."
Y/N wandered down the ramp, watching the exchange.
Din is enraged. "Give him to me."
"Not so fast. You can't just leave a child all alone like that. You know," she remarked, "you two have an awful lot to learn about raising a young one."
Y/N stepped up to meet Din. She looked to the woman, "Please. I'm his mother, Please."
Din went rigid at the confession.
His riduur considered herself the child's mother.
Peli Motto sighed, handing the child to Y/N. Y/N immediately took the child back into the ship, a content smile on her face.
Peli held her hands on her hips, "Anyway, I started the repair on the fuel leak. There you go. I had a couple setbacks I want to talk to you about. You know, I didn't use any droids, as requested, so it took me a lot longer than I expected."
Din moved back into the ship, grabbing his bag.
She smiled, "But I figured you were good for the money since you have a few extra mouths to feed."
Din stopped, "Thank you."
Din met Toro in the Hanger, leaving his riduur and child in the ship.
Toro sat on one of the speeder bikes proudly, "Hey, Mando, what do you think? Not too shabby, huh?"
Din expected the bike carefully.
Toro opened his mouth again, "What? You didn't bring the lady with you?"
Din turned slowly and angrily, but took a few deep breaths to make himself relax. "No."
Toro laughed, putting on his goggles, "Shame really. Would've been a pretty sight."
And he took off on the bike before Din could retaliate.
Din followed behind.
Y/N sat in the Razor Crest with the ramp down for hours while the men were gone, happily entertaining the child, and making small talk with Peli who continued her work. But soon, Peli had finished and made her way into her home for the night.
The Mandalorian's riduur babbled with the child and he walked around happily.
She heard footsteps and peaked her head up, hoping for Din to have already returned.
But he hadn't.
Toro did.
And he was aiming his blaster at her.
"Stand up, girl."
Her eyes widened in fear, shifting to the child.
Toro's tone became angrier, "I stand, stand up."
She did, holding her hands up.
"Now, get the child."
Y/N leaned down and picked up the child as intructed. "Toro, please…"
"Quiet. You're gonna do as I say."
Now at nightfall, he was finally making his way back to the Razor Crest.
The whole plan had gone to shit and the man had abandoned him.
Or had he?
Cause now Din saw the speeder bike outside of the Razor Crest.
He took out his blaster, carefully approaching.
"Took you long enough, Mando."
Toro emerged from the dark of the Razor Crest ramp. He held Y/N tight to his chest, and in her arms sat the child. His blaster was against the girl's temple uncomfortably.
"Looks like I'm calling the shots now. Huh, partner? Now drop your blaster and raise 'em."
He took a moment to study his riduur. She no longer had her mask. Her eyes were wide in uncertainty, and she held the child close to her chest in comfort.
He couldn't handle the sight.
So, he dropped the blaster, and held his hands behind his head.
Y/N let out a gasp, "Mando…"
Toro grabbed at her neck harshly with his free hand, "Shut it."
The man leaned his head down to hers, his lips gently touching her ear, "I want you to go cuff him. Give me the child."
She gave out a small whimper, but knew there was no way to fight it.
She gave Toro the child and took slow, hesitant steps with the cuffs towards her riduur.
Toro took this time to monologue, "You're a Guild traitor, Mando. And I'm willing to bet that this here is the target you helped escape." He held his blaster towards the child.
Y/N, who had no reached Mando at this point, gently called out, "Don't touch him, please… please…"
Toro scoffed, "Cuff him, pretty girl. I'm waiting."
She nodded, moving towards Din.
Din had something in his hands behind his head.
"…Bringing you in won't just make me a member of the Guild, it'll make me legendary."
Mando took that as his opportunity.
He pressed the button on the remote in his hand, making a bright light and small explosion that blinded Toro.
Din grabbed Y/N and hid behind the nearest wall.
And blaster fire was all Y/N could hear and think about.
Until Toro was shot and fell from the ramp.
Y/N cursed, following closely behind Mando to the body. He reprimanded, "Stay back, Mesh'la."
She couldn't help it, "…the child…Din…?"
The child was no near to be seen.
She began to look around as Din inspected Toro's dead body.
Finally, she heard his babbling from behind a nearby crate.
"Oh, thank the maker… C'mere." She held the child close, kissing his little bald head.
When Din had turned back to his riduur, a smile came across his face beneath the beskar.
Toro was right.
She is such a pretty sight.
He stepped close to the woman and child. His gloved fingers lightly grazed the cut on her forehead.
She shook her head, "M'fine, Din."
He nodded. "Let's go, Cyare."
The little family left Tattooine in the Razor Crest.
Din may have had fewer credits than he hoped to make out with, but he had much more that he was grateful to have.

Communication Chaos
Featuring: Isekei! (Kind of not really.) Reader x Tighnari
TW: none that I am aware of, but please do let me know if I missed any I will gladly update this section.
PT2: Cyno, Wanderer, Alhaitham, Kaveh
INTRO:
You wake up one day sitting on the bed of a small hut-looking building in Gandharva Ville after being found unconscious by the forest ranger known all around as Tighnari. The moment you opened your eyes and met the gaze of the multi-colored-eyed male, you felt a warm tingle of excitement and confusion fill your chest...however the moment he opened his mouth to greet you, your heart dropped into the pit of your stomach.
You can’t understand a single word he just said.
Your excitement and curiosity are what caused him to fall for you, over time, of course.
When you awoke and sat up in the bed he had given you to rest, he walked towards you with a bowl of medicine.
“Are you okay?” He asked, “Any pain from the injuries sustained? I wrapped your forearm in bandages and put together a concoction of medicine utilizing-” He stopped speaking mid-explanation when he noticed you stared at him wide-eyed, mouth open agape, similar signs of someone who hadn’t understood what was being said to them. He took this as a sign that he had to slow down his form of speech, thus he continued with that in mind.
“U-uh...” you interrupted him, using your hands signaling he should stop by waving them around in front of you apprehensively. You weren’t sure what you could possibly say, standing in front of you was THE Tighnari of the video game “Genshin Impact” you played in the comforts of your homeland, yet he seemed to speak none of the languages you were remotely accustomed to hearing. You looked around for any form of a hint of what language he spoke so you could attempt to communicate, however, It was at that moment that you realized it must have been Teyvats natural language by the writing on the pile of papers that sit on the desk next to the bed graciously given to you by Tighnari. He cocked his head to the side and ear twitched, waiting for you to speak as you had stopped him from talking previously.
“I...don’t understand what you’re saying, I’m...sorry...” You trailed off as you noticed Tighnari holding perhaps even a more shocked expression than you at the language difference. He had of course been a graduate of the Akedemiya, a place in which learning many different languages was a must prior to graduation, yet you were there speaking in a language he had never remotely heard of. Coming to terms with this, he nodded slowly before continuing with his previous actions. Taking the bowl of medicine and a wooden spoon, he scooped it up and urged it towards you, inviting you to try it. You hesitated for a moment, looking from the spoon, and up to his gentle gaze before leaning forward to take a bite. He smiled and nodded satisfied with this. Once you had finished the medicine you felt yourself become drowsy, feeling yourself sway slightly as he took the back of your head to lean you back onto the bed. You were soon sleeping soundly once again, not noticing the slight look of worry that was still upon the fennecs features.
Time had passed, your injuries were fully healed. Chalking it up to amnesia, Tighnari had decided to take care of you while you were in an unfamiliar place and unable to communicate where exactly you should have been. He started to teach you a bit about the language in teyvat by simply pointing to things and slowly emphasizing how they were said, and encouraging you to say certain phrases such as “I’m hungry” before giving you food. You were eager to learn, and he began to feel his heart beat slightly faster at every smile, every giggle, and every little phrase you had learned. He tried to convince himself that he had only felt the affection of a teacher for a student, but he couldn’t quite place why you felt different than when he had taught Collei new things.
“By the way, (y/n),” Tighnari said while mixing up a new batch of herbs, “How old are you?” This sentence was a bit more complex, however, you could tell he had used your name (it had taken him some time to properly pronounce it, you had to emphasize the letters frequently and he had to be reminded multiple times how to properly pronounce it), and had some form of a question by the upward connotation he had used. You replied with a light hum and a tilt of your head. He leaned back against the counter and crossed his arms, thinking about how to go about this question, before perking up and rushing outside. You furrowed your eyebrows, looking slightly puzzled at his sudden disappearance. He quickly returned with what looked like an arm full of small rocks, sitting on the ground before arranging them in a manner that was organized with lines of rocks. He then began to point to one rock at a time and say a word each time he pointed, which you could make out to be counting in his language, before pointing to himself once finishing counting the rocks he lay out. You were slightly confused until he did it again and pointed to himself more aggressively to try and get the point across.
“Ohhh! Your age? you’re asking me how old I am?” You asked, smiling brightly and giggling. You noticed his cheeks beam a light shade of pink as you did this, however, you didn’t pay too much attention to the meaning behind it as you started to count back the rocks he had placed in your own native language.
“You’re (his age)? Huh. Well..” You began to rework the rocks to the number of your own age, to which he responded with a smile as he began to count...in YOUR language. He was attempting to repeat the same way you counted, however, he fell apart slightly after getting to the number seven. Your eyes widened, as you realized he hadn’t attempted to speak your language whatsoever since you came before. You stood up, jumping up and down out of joy and giggling slightly. “oh my goodness! Tighnari!” You beamed, running over to him and gently grabbing his hands and shaking them up and down with carefulness. Just another thing he noticed he liked about you, you respected the fact that he seemed to not enjoy loud noises, and always touched him with care and made sure to watch his mannerisms in order not to offend him. You were never too much for him, you had always respected his boundaries even when he could not explicitly state so.
You tried to urge him to get up and move to the other side of the room, where on the wall lay a tapestry he had obtained for you that was covered in different flowers and animals. You then pointed to a butterfly that was sewn into the tapestry, looking at him with the pure excitement of learning and experiencing. He chuckled slightly, gaze looking down at you with pure affection before you both shared your way of saying words such as “butterfly” and “flower.” You were learning each other’s languages together, and he had felt a warm tingling in his heart with every smile, with everything you pointed to, with the way you had been quick to learn something new with an open mind and determination.
His feelings only grew from there, Only solidifying as time spent with you went on and you had taken the time and energy to learn all sorts of things, he had deeply admired the fact you paid close attention to him while he was speaking, even when you hadn’t fully understood the context of his words. He felt as if he could rant to you about anything and everything, no language barrier could break apart the feelings that began to harbor in his heart for the person that had stumbled upon his life and taken time to learn from him, about him, and look at the world with such...beauty, interest, and curiosity. Even though there were times of frustration when neither of you could figure out what was trying to be said, you always seemed to hold your head high and not falter, those moments of annoyance seeming to become fuel for your determination to work through the issues you had with a level head and motivate you to become better than you had been before.
He hadn’t meant to confess so soon, however, the comment seemed to have come out nonchalantly. Even a scholar cannot help but make a fool of himself sometimes when it comes to falling in love, a feeling of which he had not fully convinced himself by the time he admitted it to you. You were helping him take his rounds in the forest, though he made it a point to avoid dangerous withering zones for your sake. He had noticed you stopped following next to him, instead, you had gotten distracted by a specific flower that lay on the ground next to a particularly large tree.
“Sumeru rose,” He said slowly, kneeling next to you. You nodded and looked at the flower with such gentleness, innocence, and love.
“Sumeru rose...I love it,” You said, petting the soft purple petals with your hand. He had heard you use this phrase often when talking about things that lit your face up with joy, such as food he had cooked you, little trinkets he had brought to you to learn from, certain words that you seemed to like...he didn’t need a translation to tell that you were using that phrase to express deep likeliness for something. in a moment of overwhelming love and affection, Tighnari picked up the flower from its stem to remove it from the ground it had to lay in before using his other hand to gently grasp your cheek and turn your gaze towards his own, tucking the purple bloom behind your ear and repeating your phrase,
“I love it.”
He had said this with such gentleness, a slight accent that you found adorable, and with the perfect amount of emotion and overwhelming endearment.
Silence rang between the two of you, your face gradually growing a deep shade of red, standing up in a rush before quickening your pace.
“Yes, oh look, a pretty butterfly!” You tried to take his attention off of yourself by pointing and excitingly ready to learn as usual, as if he hadn’t just confessed something which you were not even certain he meant. You hadn’t noticed that his gaze had not left you, yet you refused to look back and let him see how much you were red-faced and smiling right now.
“L-let’s keep going! come on!” You told Tighnari, not bringing yourself to turn to look at him.
“Ah-!” He stood up with an equal amount of panic, his face also turning a shade of red. He quickly caught up to you, “Are you okay?” He asked in his own language, you had indeed understood this phrase this time around after your time of studying with the forest ranger, however, your answer came out in a rush while trying to deflect the conversation.
Perhaps some more time will grant both of you to finally come to terms with the new idea of “love,” And you could learn to properly communicate this feeling one day in confidence with words, rather than uncertainty.

Honey, I’m Home! ~ Alhaitham x Liyue!Reader
Tumblr media
“Girlfriend?! You?!” Kaveh’s face showed nothing but utmost shock. “I don’t believe a word you say! Nobody would! I mean -- You?! There’s no way any sane woman would stay around you!” “I am not one to respond to baseless provokation, however, I have to point out that you directly insulted my partner intellect and mental well-being, to which I cannot remain silent - Though, I suppose you are intoxicated and there’s little I should care about. No word coming out of your mouth is ever worth taking into account to begin with.” Alhaitham, much to his mate’s irritation, didn’t even raise his gaze from the book he was reading. “Hey, you--! You’re SO insufferable!” the poor architect growled in anger. “Since when? You never told me about her, and we’ve known each other for enough years! You’d have let it slip somehow - Or, at least, your arrogance would’ve!”  “Your impression on my personality has nothing to do with any kind of potential slip you think I might have had. As a matter of fact, the existence of a significant other had never been a secret to begin with. You just never asked, therefore, I had no reason to go out of my way and brag about my perfectly accomplished life, considering not only your living conditions, but your infinitely tragic luck. I did not want to bother with you crying again, out of nowhere.” Kaveh threw a random book at his mate’s head, which annoyingly enough, he masterfully caught without as much as blinking. “GAHH, I HATE YOU SO MUCH!” the man whined, slamming his face into the table. “FINE! TELL ME! ENLIGHTEN ME! WHO IS THIS MYSTERY WOMAN THAT MANAGED TO IGNORE THE INFINITE AMOUNT OF NEGATIVE TRAITS AND THAT STUPIDLY ARROGANT AND UNAPPROACHABLE FACE OF YOURS?! IS SHE BLIND?!” “There is nothing wrong with her eye function. In fact, she often compliments my appearance.” the scribe pointed out. “We have been together since a year before we presented our graduation thesis.” poor Kaveh spit out the beer he was drinking. “HOW LONG?!” he was absolutely convinced he was lying. “There’s NO way that is, in any way, true!” “If you don’t believe me, there are plenty ways to search for proof on your own. The only thing I would have to warn you about is not to use your usual barbaric ways of speaking to her, if you manage to find her. You will scare her away.” Kaveh couldn’t help but glare at Alhaitham, though, considering the amount of unceremonious yelling he just did, he couldn’t refute much. “Fine, whatever - Tell me about her. How you met. Something. Anything relevant. I’ll see after if I believe you.” Alhaitham had to fight the smirk off his face as he hummed in amusement - It was so easy to get a rise out of this fool. “Y/N is originally from Liyue, although you can say, after finishing her Amurta course and graduated, she would spend about half a year back home to take care of her family and help with the medicine aspect of the country.” Kaveh’s eyes suddenly shot open and he gasped. “Hold up! Is this the Liyue friend that Tighnari mentioned? They were in the same Darshan and -- They worked on their thesis together a lot and -- And Cyno too, on enough occasions -- Is that her?!” Alhaitham shrugged his shoulders, though he knew it was the truth. There were a lot of references that one must use in the bibliography, and the practical percentage of her thesis she did on the comparison of Fauna and Flora from Sumeru and Liyue was done for the most part with Tighnari. Y/N often mentioned the fennec boy being her only friend for the many years she in Akademiya.
Alhaitham knew, no matter how nice of a person you were, if you had a unique brilliance, the common flock of mindless sheep were bound to be rude to you. He was no stranger to the endless amount of insults he received from many, although, in almost the same ponder, he also had many more compliments of all kind, be that on his intelligence, on his work, or... His looks especially. Tighnari and Cyno were no strangers to this kind of treatment, but at least they had each other - For the most part.
Back then, having a new student, from another country no less - A country with a rich history, though not as much focus on studies as Sumeru - A new student that, through thorough examination, was able to start her Amurta studies not from the first year, but skipped about a half of the years required to graduate.
From the get-go, Y/N was a bit of an odd one, and the students of Akademiya were no less lenient with her, nor did they bother teaching her about cultural differences and what not. Alhaitham, too, noticed something strange, but it was different from everyone else. Was it that he never heard her speak, even once? Or that, were it not for the amount of gossips and bullying he witnessed, she’d have been walking the halls of the House of Daena like an invisible ghost, unseen, unwanted, unneeded by all around her?
Or, perhaps, it was that there was a large amount of books that she was reading - Manuals, text-books, works, thesis of all kind, from different Darshan courses even - And for the most time, she’d read them all outside, in the forest, far away from the Akademiya; As far away as possible, if need be.
And despite the awful treatment she received, and the amount of diligent hard-work she was putting into her courses, she never seemed to frown or let things affect her. She wasn’t smiling either, and her tiredness was showing - Still, it almost looked endearing; A brilliant woman, so effortlessly beautiful and graceful in everything she did, wearing a passive, demure smile on her face, even if none wanted to appreciate it.
Were all women from Liyue like this, he wondered? Most Sumeru women he had the displeasure of conversing with were so obnoxious and emotion-driven; Oft times, he even wondered if the inspector examining them did his job well enough, because he himself could see no ounce of anything clever in their bleak, dark minds of theirs. No that the men were any different, but they had the courtesy of avoiding him like the plague, to which, Alhaitham was grateful. He never cared for idle chatting for no reason.
Hence why, he needed to concoct a proper conversation reason, otherwise, there would be no sense to start speaking with the new student.
Luck had always favoured him for some reason, and instead of wasting his time with needless research, it was Y/N herself who came over to him. She nodded her head at him as a courtesy greeting, and introduced herself as Y/N from the Amurta class. She explained that, although her thesis was based on biology, she had plenty of interests in many other areas, and having heard him as the most remarkable student from Haravatat, it was a no brainer that she’d come to him requesting aid for some book and course recommandations.
Though his reply was a simple yet positive one, informing her that, once he gathers some time, he will see what he could do, she offered him a grateful, princess-like smile, and this time, a brief courtesy, before leaving. For a split second, Alhaitham had to wonder if this Y/N had any amount of noble blood in her lineage - No woman could act so perfectly elegant all the time without some proper training from before you even begin breathing into this world.
Regardless, Alhaitham found himself completely abandoning his work for a whole day in search of accommodating Y/N, and when he searched for her with the piles of books he had for her, all of them old, dusty and tattered, she was outside, under a tree, reading a story to a little fox. Such odd behaviour - Though the fox seemed to enjoy it, as it was purring in her lap as it was being stroked. It was quite the sight for sore eyes, he had to admit.
“Ah, so fast, you needn’t! You are far too kind - There is no way to repay you for your kindness. Allow me to treat you to some tea and a meal tomorrow, please.” Alhaitham shook his head, sitting down next to her. “There are few people actually interested in proper research and academics. If someone came to me, willing to learn, there is no reason why I should decline.” he answered simply. “I do not require any reward. Simply put, I did it because I wanted to. However, if you want to repay me, then tell me - Why do you read so many books, when a lot of pointed information can be found out by simply asking through the Akasha terminal.” Y/N smiled at him enigmatically. “That is a question to which I cannot provide an answer. Not because I am unwilling to disclose the information - In fact, it’s quite silly, rather. The reason behind my silence is that... Due to this device you are wearing, if there is anything that I tell you, whether you wish to share this information with anyone or not, the whole network of people using the Akasha device are going to know, by simply asking. The people wearing this device cannot control the information they disclose - It is actually quite frightening, I might say.” Alhaitham’s jade-like green eyes peered deep into her own; They were so gentle and warm, almost resembling those of a fawn, yet even he could discern the tint of sorrow and loneliness pooling behind them. “You almost sound like a criminal speaking like that.” at the faintest hint of a crystalline chuckle, Alhaitham’s heart skipped a beat - Just one, of course, he simply wasn’t expecting such a sound as a response to his words. Was there something amusing in what he said. “Well, I suppose, considering nobody taught me the laws of Sumeru, there is little I can say to refute such a statement. Who knows, perhaps, in my ignorance, I might have managed to stray away from the right path. Regardless, what I can say is - I am forced by conjuctures to personally gather the information I am seeking. Whatever you wish to do with that information, it is up for your own interpretation, and I am unable to either approve or disprove it.” the man couldn’t help but scoff a little, though he came up with an answer easily.
Somehow, this pretty little princess was just about as much of a fairy as he was, and she, for some reason, managed to trick her way into not wearing a Terminal - Or she made it malfunction. Either way, it would make perfect sense.
“Fascinating as it is to guess, I am no philosopher, I am a researcher who bases his work on the factual, not on stories. I will not lose time coming to an uncertain conclusion.” for some reason, his words made the woman next to him chuckle again, for the second time in less than half an hour. Interesting. “Then, may I be so bold as to ask for your aid again, should I require again some kind of help oh some kind?” the woman asked, seeing as he got up, picking up the large pile of books, yet he seemed to have no intention of handing them other. “If the time allows me to take a detour from my work, then I suppose I see no reason not to help.” he answered briefly. As Y/N stepped in front of him, placing her hands over his own, in an attempt to burden the heavy weight of knowledge, he simply stepped past her. “Just show me where to get them. You may be ignorant of Sumeru’s own law code, but I doubt you would be foolish enough to ignore the laws of physics and even delude yourself that you could carry them yourself and reach home without as much as one of them at least being damaged.” he spoke, walking ahead.
Y/N couldn’t help but blink in surprise at the rather adorable and gentlemanly reaction of the otherwise stoic in inabordable man, however, she couldn’t help but smile in amusement, catching up to his pace and leading the way. “Judging by your your looks, there is no way you weight more than these books, therefore, given their mass, Newton’s law says that an object can only move another if its mass is greater. A single kilogram equals to exactly 9,81 Newtons. With this knowledge, we have to exchange the parameters with actual numbers, in the Law of Force, which says that Force equals the multiplying of the mass and acceleration of said object; And since acceleration is measured in meters per square second --” he continued ranting on and on about the laws of physics and the approximates he took, only to feel a hand powerfully slap the bottom of the book stack, making them all fly aimlessly in the sky - And be caught with the aid of Y/N’s Dendro vision powers. Y/N was smiling like an innocent child, though, with the way she was fighting back a smirk, it only made her look like a playful, mischievous vixen. “Alhaitham --” she said, a hand covering her smirking mouth. “Has anyone ever told you how adorable you are when you’re rambling with no sense?” the man couldn’t help but be rooted to the spot, completely unresponsive.
What did she mean? Him, ranting idly, for no apparent reason whatsoever? That was completely unlike him - Surely, she must be mistaken - He was trying to educate her; There is reason in everything he says. “Come along, I recently brought over some fantastic bamboo dew tea -- Oh, and I suppose, if you’re interested, I have some sweet Osmanthus wine also, the finest batch. Mr. Zhongli himself vouched for the quality, and there’s no other like him, a true connoisseur in everything fine.” with a delicate hand wrapped gently around his wrist, Y/N guided the speechless man toward her home - A pretty, tall house made out of wood, vines and leaves of all kinds, all of it, carved inside a grand tree. With a wave of her other hand, she created a staircase out of liana, allowing them to get up to the top-most part of her house, where her library was. “It isn’t much, but I hope you feel comfortable enough during your stay.” still, Alhaitham couldn’t utter another word as he went to sit down on the couch. Though he couldn’t help himself and analysed every inch of the chamber, he could still faintly feel the slight rise in his cheeks’ temperature, biological and physiological truth which irked him greatly, as it gave away the speed with which his heart beat, and, consequently, the fact that, despite his ration-based life, he was somehow able to be weak before the effortless charms of a woman like Y/N, who made him act like a fool.
But unlike him, Y/N seemed to be his own personal anti-thesis; Y/N seemed so calm and friendly, so warm and with just the right amount of conversation lines that didn’t border on the obnoxious type of talkative. In fact, Alhaitham might even have to admit, he didn’t mind the sound of her voice, in fact, he might as well admit that he found it rather pleasant to his ears. In only she’d know the stimulant effect her presence alone has on his heart’s rhythm, as though someone had secretly injected him with adrenaline... There must be something to be done about this.
As he asked her about her thesis, he swore, he could see sparkles in her eyes - Her infinite amount of love and dedication for the flora and fauna of both countries was insurmountable - Y/N was writing her thesis out of passion of the living beings, not necessarily out of sheer interest in research, though everything that she’s assimilated clearly set her on the right path. In must have been some kind of miracle that his plan on working on a thesis with that good for nothing Kaveh from  Kshahrewar; Simply, he erased his name from it, and moved on to a singular part of the research, though he had to admit, the environmental conditions weren’t the brightest - The subject, at least, was highly fascinating.
“Would you be interested in writing a project together?” he found himself asking all of a sudden. “A senior had previously proposed a thesis subject that interested me, alas, due to differences of opinions and views, the project fell through. The topic of my half of the thesis was the decoding of the ancient runes from the Ruins of King Deshret's Civilization.” “That does sound like quite the intriguing thesis, and I have to admit, I would also be interested in researching the history of the old civilization... But I’m not used to the harsh environment of the desert, I... Am not sure I would be a proper asset to the team.” Alhaitham hummed in understanding - Even Sumeru people had a hard time dealing with the desert, and knowing the landscapes and the weather from Liyue, he could see the reason behind her reticence. Still, he was passionate not only about this project, but about spending quality time with the woman before him, doing what they know best to do - Study. “As long as you’re willing to join the project, I can deal with accommodating you during the practical field research, as I’m more familiar with the country.” despite her skepticism, Y/N couldn’t help but accept, completely uncaring about any risk whatsoever. As long as she was able to spend time with the man in front of her, everything was going to be fine. “Alright, Alhaitham. Let’s make the most outstanding project the Akademiya has ever seen.” her positive outlook was a rather welcome change of pace, unlike Kaveh and his constant wish to either bicker with him, or complain.
For the rest of the years it took for both Alhaitham and Y/N to graduate, they went on a vast number of adventures - Considering the amount of time it took for them to reach the graduation, it was only fair that they extend their thesis for three major regions - Deshret’s desert area, Greater Lord Rukkhadevata’s Sumeru forests and Rex Lapis’ Liyue - Each of them, with their own distinct and fascinating manuscripts, writing styles, flora, fauna and civilizations that have been rapidly evolving throughout the years. Their project ended up truly being one worthy of envy, but not without merit.
The amount of times they got lost in the desert or had to fight mercenaries and treasure hoarders, got trapped inside pyramids, ruins and underground catacombs, had to solve puzzles and decipher codes, decode runes and languages lost to time, found relics and fossils, cave paintings and old manuscripts describing never-seen and never-heard before wildlife from all over the two countries.
“Are we ever going to find a way out of this mess of a tomb? I feel like a grave-robber that’s about to lose her sanity from the lack of food and water.” Y/N dramatically joked as she used her vines to propel herself up to some suspended platforms and activate some intricate mechanism that was going to open up the door - Hopefully, at least. “We haven’t done all this for all our work to be thrown down the drain.” as the door opened, he readied his sword to attack the activating perpetual robotic monsters, and together, they would fight - Yet Alhaitham especially felt a sense of protectiveness over Y/N - Whether it was over the fact that he’s practically responsible for her life, as he got her into the project... Or perhaps it was the fact that he feared anything happened to her. She was a talented healer, and she often used her vision power to shield him from imminent danger or mend some of the wounds he got from direct confrontation against multiple enemies that came in waves at once.
Though they had lots of practical field trips that involved a ton of travelling, the simpler parts of theoretical research was often done in far calmer environments, be it either of their homes, or a neutral place, namely the popular tea house, so they could also catch a bite. Unfortunately, Puspa cafe often hosted a ton of Akademiya students, and that more often than not meant some of their own classmates, that due to exceeding envy, ended up ruining their pleasant leisure time. Just like that one time when a junior from his own Darshan of Haravatat came over to their table - Masterfully and tactically chosen to be the farther-most, retreated from the majority of the people and in a corner away from the prying eyes - And put her hands on her hips, frowning down at them.
“What are you doing here?!” the stranger asked in a rather irritated voice, yet neither of the two even bothered raising their gaze and acknowledge her presence. “Hey - Don’t ignore me, you -- Gosh, you’re so rude.” still, no answer. “Alhaitham~! Why do you waste your time around such a boring woman? She’s no good, y’know? You don’t need to help her with her studies - She’s a plant lover from Amurta - Nowhere near our above-brilliant Haravatat intellect!” the girl whined, hoping to get the man’s attention, yet once again, she was met with no response. Infuriated, the girl threw herself on the couch next to him, clinging onto his arm and cuddling on his side. “Alhaitham~! You are my senior! You promised to help me with research. In fact - Let’s do our thesis together!” Much to her indignance, the stranger was shrugged off the sofa, and received an irked glare. “I have no idea who you are, nor am I interested in your identity, but I would like for you to stop bothering our study session, otherwise I will be forced to ask the patron to kick you out of the cafe for disturbing other customers.” the flabbergast expression on her face would have been amusing, were it not for her disgusting hostility. “Wait, no -- You can’t do that, I -- Alhaitham, don’t you remember me? I’m your Junior, Emiya! You gave me a book about deciphering ancient texts a month ago, remember?” she tried to plead, but was met with a firm, negative reply. “And you -- You have to stop parasiting him already! Do your own work, for once! Can’t you see you’re inconveniencing him?!” Y/N said nothing. “Say something!” “The Phoenix does not lose sleep over the idle chattering of mice.” Emiya’s eyes widened in complete confusion, though Alhaitham couldn’t help but let out a breath of amusement. She fancied herself an Empress, how lovely. “Wh-What?! You make no sense -- Hey, you’re in Sumeru, not in Liyue anymore, y’know? Get it right already.” for the first time, Y/N rose her gaze to meet Emiya’s; the junior shuddered slightly, realising the cold passiveness of her intimidating demeanour. “I don’t know what kind of delusions you like to feed yourself, but I would ask you to leave our table, unless you wish to get permanently banned from Puspa. I would like to return to the research I was doing for our thesis, until you so rudely interrupted our tireless work. Unlike you, we are not so carefree and leisurely.” Y/N curt voice had a frozen edge, intimidating the girl. “Well, whatever! Go back to your stupid grass work. Alhaitham and I have more intelligent research to conduct - And some practical research, perhaps?” Y/N had to turn her head slightly to the side, demurely hiding her mocking chuckle. “I believe it unethical, stealing one’s project partner. Alas, willow blossoms go in dreams, only to find sorrows hidden on the moon.” Emiya’s eyes were wide, and her jaw to the floor - Her mind had gone numb from stupidity. “You pride yourself with being a Haravatat student, yet you fail to comprehend even the most forward of poems. I have no intention of associating myself with mediocre people.” Alhaitham dismissed the tearing up girl with a bored wave of his hand; Y/N and him had to look away from each other to avoid chuckling, “So... I actually found this interesting Zaytun Peach wine recipe -- And I have some Glaze Lily flowers and Sweet Flower to make tea - I’ve got this snow kept for special occasions - I find tea made out of melted snow to have the richest aroma.” Y/N said, disclosing the contents of the book she was reading; The farthest away from being a research-based book. “The history of the Guili plains and the Guizhong ballista are also rather intriguing. I would be interested in finding out the blueprints and the thought concept behind it and its making.” he hummed in acknowledgement, enjoying reading about the past of Liyue and what similarities and differences exist between it and Sumeru. “Do we have any more of that special delivery Dandelion Wine from Angel’s Share?” “Of course! Master Diluc just recently had a few bottles delivered to me through his brother Kaeya, who was on an errand here in Sumeru. He didn’t stay long for catching up, but he brought the goods, so it’s fine either way.” with a shared look, the two got up and moved their leisure reading back to Y/N’s home, delighting themselves with the most quality wine that Teyvat had to offer. “That’s a fine deal.”
At some point, just a year before their graduation, Alhaitham was going to purchase some alcohol to celebrate a massive breakthrough he had in his research - And consequently, escaping yet another death-nearing experience - His ex-project partner, the senior architect student from Kshahrewar, spotted him. This blond man with a volcanic personality ended up shredding his joined thesis in a fit of frustrating rage, only to end up gluing back together out of regret, once he ended up all alone, bankrupt, and realising his once friend’s harsh words were actually viable advices that he should have heeded long ago.
There was no reproach in his words - Alhaitham had nothing to gain out of making Kaveh feel even more humiliated by his own failures, brought upon him mostly by his overly empathetic nature. He had to admit, bit of this precious and rather naive selflessness he could very often see in Y/N, which only made him feel more afraid that there might be some brainless deadbeats upsetting her or taking advantage of her benevolence.
Still, interestingly enough, after getting drunk enough to spill out all of his grievances, Kaveh found himself speaking of some rather interesting rumours. “Ever heard of the flower fairy rumour?” he asked. “They say once a month, at midnight, there’s this mystical being, beautiful as no other woman, and she dances on the sheen of the lake.” “You don’t seriously believe such ridiculous children stories, do you?” Alhaitham scoffed, raising the beer bottle and drinking a bit, yet his eyes never once left the blond. “I believe it more than the Wisdom Seelie, the children of the forest or the Aranara.” the architect grumbled. “How ridiculous.” still, he couldn’t admit, Alhaitham had his own suspicions on who this might be, and his professional curiosity had him want to come to a concludent answer. “Honestly, if that flower fairy is real, she might be the only living being capable of liking someone as arrogant and insufferable as you. No human woman could ever stand you.” Kaveh hiccuped as he sneered at his refound friend. Such a proposition sounded so much like a challenge, that Alhaitham found himself internally accepting.
Thus, every night for a whole month, Alhaitham hid behind a tree and investigated the lake area for any signs of this supposed fairy - And finally, his hard work came to fruition. From the direction of Y/N’s home, followed by an array of forest animals, the glowing silhouette of a gorgeous woman playing a sorrowful tune on the flute piqued his attention. Indeed, it was Y/N, just as he suspected, yet now he could see why she would be mistaken for a fairy. Wherever her barefeet would step, flowers would grow. Her long, light pink dress, flowy and embroidered with the finest gold thread, made her look like a lotus bloom. Her long hair of the most beautiful shade was embellished with royal-looking jewellery, and even her make up, so soft and delicate, yet so feminine, made her face look prettier than the moon itself.
Placing the flute inside her sleeve, Y/N stepped on the mirror sheen of the lake that seemed to sparkle with zircons from the silver light of the celestial body up on the dark night sky, and accompanied by what no doubt was an old Liyue melody, Y/N performed a dance, so enticing, so fluid, like a willow tree in the gentle breeze of spring. Every move she made, every little twitch and tweak of her joint, her body, all of them were perfectly calculated, even the amount of green dendro magic that made her performance even more alluring and worthy of being mistaken with a fictional mythical being.
By the time she was done, Alhaitham was leaning back on a tree, applauding. From the shock of being discovered, Y/N’s cheeks flared red with warmth and embarrassment. “Of course it had to be you who would find me out.” “It was actually a senior of mine who mentioned the rumours of this supposed flower fairy. I had my suspicions, and I felt compelled to have them approved or denied.” the corner of his mouth slightly twitched upwards in a smug smirk. “It seems my intuition hasn’t failed me yet.” “Tian na!” Y/N found herself softly shaking her head, a gorgeous smile gracing her features as she stepped on the soft grass next to him. “Fate sure has the weirdest ways of bringing people together.” Alhaitham found himself scoffing in distaste at the sheer notion of destiny. “Don’t use such foolish words. We are humans, and we create our of path in life. It is our actions and choices that define us, not the biblical or religious concept of a life already chosen and woven for you since before you are conceived and brought into this wor--” before he could continue rambling on about his own views on fate, Y/N reached up to pick his chin, bringing him down to her level, and with one hand on his shoulder to lean up, she captured his soft lips into a kiss that left him speechless from surprise.  “For years we have been friends, yet I cannot tire of how adorable you are when you’re so flustered that you end up ranting over the weirdest things.” Alhaitham wanted to scold her for doing something so uncharacteristic and unexpected, wanted to refute her claim of him ranting over ‘weird’ things - Or simply, the idea of him ‘ranting’ was ridiculous - Somehow, instead of all that, his body moved on his own and his brain took a short break, and the otherwise stoic man found himself cradling dearly Y/N’s form in his strong arms and sharing a much more loving and intimate kiss that seemed to allow the river of emotions to flow and come undone and expose itself in all its glory and vulnerability.
“You are bulshitting me because I’m drunk.” Kaveh growled at his friend. “You just randomly remembered those stupid rumours about the fairy thing and use that against me.” “I already told you, it’s not my job proving to you that I’m speaking the truth.” Alhaitham simply took another gulp of his beer. “But you said the fairy was just a stupid joke! And you never mentioned working on a thesis with someone else! Or having a friend, let alone a girlfriend! Hell, I thought nobody liked you! I still do!” the architect pointed an accusatory finger in his face. “I refuse to bother replying to your ridiculous disbeliefs anymore.” the scribe huffed, ready to take out his headphones and tune out the noise pollution that Kaveh was providing. “HEY, DON’T IGNORE ME! GIVE ME ANSWERS! I DON’T BELIEVE THAT STUPID STORY--” just as Kaveh shot up to his feet, slamming his hands onto the table, the front door was opened, and a beautiful woman entered the living room. “Honey, I’m home~!” her crystalline voice chimed, making Alhaitham smirk smugly and putting back his headphones in his belt pouch. “I brought some Osmanthus wine and moon cakes!” Kaveh’s eyes bulged out of their orbit and his jaw was to the floor, watching the beautiful woman plop down on the couch next to his friend and sharing such a tender kiss with him. “Oh - You must be Kaveh! I heard so much about you! I’m Y/N. Alhaitham’s fiance. I came to Sumeru from Liyue and enrolled in the Amurta Darshan course and graduated with a joined thesis written with him.” “F-F-Fi... Fi... Ance...?!” the blond fell back on his seat. “I-I thought you said... Girlfriend...” “I actually used the word ‘partner’, to be precise. You simply assumed, and I didn’t bother correcting you. If I were to correct every wrong supposition you’ve had since we’ve met... Well, I have better things to do with my time.” Alhaitham declared, his arm around Y/N’s waist, pulling her subtly to lean on his side, planting a kiss on her temple, purposely annoying his friend. “S-So... You mean... She -- And the Fairy -- And Tighnari’s friend -- And your Thesis partner -- They’re all the same person?!” the crestfallen expression on his face only made the beautiful lady hum in amusement. “Yes, I suppose that is me - I should thank you for the nickname - I think being called a Flower Fairy is highly flattering. Here is my gratitude.” with a graceful swish of her hand, Y/N created a flower crown on the architect’s hair. “...You may be lovely, but I swear, you almost have the same kind of mocking cruelty as he does, hidden behind a pretty smile.” Kaveh groaned, getting up and stumbling towards the other chamber, where his bedroom was. “HEY, HOLD UP! IF YOU’VE BEEN TOGETHER FOR SO MANY YEARS, WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN YOU OVER?!” “No thirds wheels allowed on our dates.” seeing that annoyingly taunting smirk, and the implication behind those words, Kaveh let out another frustrated groan and shot into his room, not wanting to see either of the two anymore. “Perfect timing as always.” Alhaitham praised, pulling Y/N onto his lap. “Yes, well, I have to admit, I was getting cold out there, leaning on the door and waiting for you to finish that story already. Regardless... I think it’s adorable that Kaveh didn’t pick up that the reason you were so intrigued to continue speaking to me was because I fooled the Akademiya not to wear that Akasha device.” Y/N laughed lightly. “One of the many.” he said, bringing her flush against his chest. “Or perhaps, one might say, I was trapped under the charming spell of a certain flower fairy.”

It was an unusually gloomy day by Pabu standards. Fog and dark clouds cast a shadow over the island but that didn’t stop the people from going about their jobs.
“Well, that’s the last of it.” Wrecker said as he lowered the crate for Crosshair to finish transporting into the sailboat. “Go catch something big to eat!” He tossed the fishing line to the fisherwoman.
“You got it, Wrecker.” She replied cheerily. “Thanks for the help, Crosshair.”
Crosshair only acknowledged the thanks with a grunt and toss of his head as he walked off.
Wrecker gave Crosshair’s shoulder a playful slap. “Aw, look at that. You made a new friend.”
“We checked the ship’s comms. Still no word from Fennec.” You said as you and Hunter came down the stairs to join the other two at the docks.
“Since when do we wait around for intel?” Crosshair queried.
You suddenly had one too many horrible flashbacks to your time with Cid.
“Well, she’s the only lead we have. If her contact can tell us what an M-count is besides what we already roughly know, we might figure out why the Empire’s targeting both Omega and you.” Hunter explained with a glance in your direction.
“We already know why they’d be after me. It’s Omega…” You trailed off as you saw the look Hunter was giving you. The two of had gone round and round in this debate since Teth when you’d also appeared on that target register. You maintained the position that you were unrelated to Omega and Hemlock so you shouldn’t be a priority, but Hunter thought that it was too risky to assume that now and so you both needed to be careful.
“Besides, does it matter? We’re not handing them over.” Crosshair said resolutely.
You inclined your head in both thanks and agreement at the sentiment.
“Can’t be prepared if we don’t know what we’re dealing with.” Hunter said before the four of you set off to go find Omega.
--
“Batcher, wait!” Omega called after the hound as she ran off down the beach, but the dog paid her words no attention.
Omega jogged after her to see her come to a sudden stop and her whines were filled with anxiety. “Batcher? What is it? What’s wrong?” She asked as she gave Batcher some reassuring pats.
Batcher turned towards the dark cave and let out a low growl.
Omega brought out her torch and examined it. “It’s just the cavern. We’ve been in there plenty of times.” But the dog seemed insistent that something was amiss. “Okay, okay, I’ll check it out.”
Omega wandered further into the cavern, and it was then that she came across something very peculiar. “Where did that come from?” She thought aloud as she stared at the unfamiliar ship in the cave. She ran up to give it a closer inspection, but Batcher’s retreating whines made her turn around. “Batcher? Where are you going?” She hissed but a chill ran down her spine as she turned and shone her light on the stranger that appeared.
--
“Hunter.” Crosshair pointed in the direction of Batcher who came running out in the distance, barking urgently in your direction.
“Where’s Omega?” You voiced worriedly.
The four of you didn’t wait to come up with an answer, instead you ran to meet up with Batcher and you came to a pause as you saw a strange woman dragging Omega out of the cavern.
“I wasn’t doing anything!” Omega grunted as she tried to loosen the stranger’s grip on her. “Let me go!”
“Hey! Let her go!” Wrecker ordered as you all made your way down to the cavern entrance.
“You heard her. Let her go.” Hunter repeated, his voice a low threat.
But you weren’t paying attention to the hold the woman had on Omega.
Instead, you took in her face as she stepped into the light and your heart stopped as you stared at the figure. She may have grown her hair out but there was no mistaking what you saw.
There was no mistaking the disturbance you sensed in the Force.
You recognised that face.
You recognised that raspy, sultry voice.
But what you couldn’t comprehend was the fact that she was actually standing in front of you.
You’d heard word that she’d died.
It may have been a futile gesture because if you could recognise her, she probably recognised you, but you moved your lightsaber out of sight anyway. You didn’t want to give her the temptation and you didn’t want to endanger the others with the confrontation that could unleash.
The figure subtly flicked her eyes over to you but said nothing. It wasn’t the right time yet. Instead, she responded to the clone’s demands. “Gladly.” She released her hold on the child.
Omega dashed over to the four of you.
“You know, for a rogue squad who are trying to lay low, you’re failing spectacularly.” She commented, unimpressed with the group in front of her. “Especially that one.” She looked down at the kid.
“And who are you?” Crosshair asked guardedly.
“Fennec sent me.”
“We never gave her our coordinates. How’d you find us?” Hunter questioned.
“I have my ways. I hear you’ve been asking questions about M-count.” She came closer to you all and crossed her arms. “Very reckless to inquire about such things. It attracts the wrong kind of attention.”
“And why is that?”
“That’s the real question, isn’t it?” She shot back. “First, tell me why you want this information.” But she was met with a firm silence. “Consider it my payment.”
“We already paid Fennec for the intel.” Hunter said.
“Not my problem. Either talk or I go.”
No one talk, no one talk. You begged internally as the others all crossed their arms and stayed quiet.
“It’s for a friend.” Omega said hastily.
It took a lot of willpower to hold back the expletives than ran through your head.
“The Empire’s after her, and she thinks it’s because of some M-count experiment they’re doing.” Omega continued, stumbling slightly over the words. “But we don’t know what that means.” She didn’t divulge what you’d already theorised and dismissed because that could endanger you.
You loved Omega, but fuck did you wish she could be a little better at lying. You then noticed the icy blue ices flit towards you again, but it was so quick, you knew the others hadn’t picked up on it.
“It’s something in the blood. Everyone has it, but at varying levels. Those with a high count, were believed to be more capable of wielding the Force.”
“The Force? You mean Jedi.” Hunter realised. He and Crosshair closed ranks whilst Wrecker put his hands protectively on Omega’s shoulders.
You stayed rooted to the spot, but felt the confused glances being sent your way and no wonder- that had been the one thing you’d ruled out instantly and now it was being suggested again. There was no way you’d been that blind… you couldn’t have been that blind to something like this, could you?
“You’re saying I’m a Jedi?” Omega gasped excitedly before she realised that she’d already given the lie away. Then another type of realisation hit her. She looked over at you only to find you frozen where you were, the only sign of life being the look of alarm on your face. “Wait-”
“Of course not. Your blood doesn’t make you a Jedi. You’d have to be trained for that. And I’ve never known a clone to be Force-sensitive. But clearly, none of you are normal.”
Okay, that was supporting what you’d already said at least.
“You got that right.” Wrecker said proudly.
“The Kaminoans did make millions of you. So I suppose it’s possible. But if you do have a high M-count, consider yourself warned. The Empire will hunt you down.”
Again, those eyes darted between you and Omega.
“There’s your intel.” She finished and turned to walk away.
Omega shrugged out of Wrecker’s hold and darted in front of her. “Wait!”
“Move, child.”
“So is that why the Empire’s been after me?”
“I can’t determine your midi-chlorian levels without testing you.”
“Then test me. I can handle it.” Omega insisted.
Your stomach dropped to your feet and your blood ran cold as you heard those words. “No.” You blurted out.
The others all looked at you in surprise since that was the first time you’d spoken or moved since arriving.
“No. You’re not testing her.” You said again, more forcefully this time and you walked closer to the two of them and placed yourself between her and Omega.
“(Y/N), stop.” Omega tried to get you to move but you weren’t budging.
“You should listen to her, child. The truth is rarely comforting.” The woman stalked off and waited further inside the cave. She already knew the outcome of what was to come.
“Why can’t I get tested?” Omega demanded, her brow furrowing in anger as she looked at you.
“Because she’s dangerous!”
“But she wants to help me!”
“She’s not just anyone, Omega. That’s Asajj Ventress and you’re not going near her!” You said protectively.
The name meant nothing to her, and Omega just shook her head. “Or is it because you don’t want me to be like you too?”
In a way you didn’t because you knew the added danger that would put her in, but you knew that wasn’t what she was implying with those words. You took a step back in shock, “No, Omega, I swear I-”
“You never told me about these tests. I need answers and she’s the only one prepared to give them to me! You could have but didn’t!”
And that very fact was going to haunt you. You looked at her imploringly. “Omega, please-”
“I need to know what I am, and you were never going to let me find out.”
Your throat closed up as you heard the betrayal in her voice. “Omega-” You breathed as you attempted to reach for her, but she stepped away from you.
“No. You had your chance.” With that, Omega and went to stand in front of the woman she now knew as Ventress.
“Just remember, you asked for this.” Ventress said to the young clone.
--
Hunter tried to catch your shoulder, but you just powered past him.
Stay with Omega and do not let her out of your sight. You said to him as you shoved through the rest of them.
Hunter still found himself torn as he watched you leave. He took a half step in your direction before he paused and turned in the direction of Omega and Ventress.
“I’ll go.” Crosshair offered. “We need to check Tech’s files to see if she’s right and you two should stay here first.”
Hunter nodded his thanks before he and Wrecker followed Omega and Ventress into the cavern.
--
You anxiously paced up and down the corridor of the Marauder. How had you messed up this badly? The answer had been staring you in the face! But instead of covering all your bases, you just rejected it without thinking! In your urge to keep Omega safe, you had done the very opposite and you’d hurt her. The one thing you’d never thought yourself capable of doing and you’d done it. And now you had pushed her in the direction of a Sith assassin! “Fucking dammit!” You shouted as you punched the wall, the emotional turmoil you were experiencing in the Force meant the area you had hit caved in on itself.
“Oh, good. I never liked that wall.” Crosshair drawled as he stepped on board.
You heaved an irritated sigh as you rectified the dented metal. “Why are you here? You need to be back at the cavern.”
“You dropped a pretty big name. We need to make sure you’re right. I mean, we can’t just take your word for it anymore- in case you’ve forgotten why we’re now in this mess.” He added pointedly.
You turned your head to sharply in his direction, “I’m very fucking aware.” You snarled as you retreated to the cockpit and started pacing again.
“So, you got something wrong, it happens.” Crosshair said nonchalantly as he pulled out Tech’s datapad and brought up his old files.
“This is a pretty big something, Crosshair.” You snapped as you collapsed into a seat in the cockpit, but your leg continued to bounce restlessly. “But it’s definitely Ventress and she shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near Omega.”
“Or you.” Crosshair reminded you as he continued to scroll through the files.
“I don’t fucking matter right now.” You said angrily as you stared at the floor.
“There are four people that would disagree.” Crosshair replied before he went still as he found the correct file. “Well, you can at least say you were right about this.” Crosshair showed you the older image of Ventress but there was no mistaking the similarities. His body language and voice were more serious now.
“Get Omega out of there but do not engage Ventress.” You wished you could go with him, but if you went back in your current emotional state, there was no telling what might happen.
--
“This is the test?” Omega asked as she struggled to maintain her balance. She had done as Ventress had instructed and stood with her arms out and one legs raised whilst the other foot stood on the wet rock. She was supposed to balance like this and keep the fruit on top of her head, but she kept sliding.
“One of them.” Ventress replied as she stood behind her.
“But the rock is…” Omega grunted as she had to catch her balance again. “…slippery. Can we go someplace else?” But Ventress didn’t answer so she asked another question, “How does standing on one-leg have anything to do with M-count?”
“You’re focused on the wrong things. Stop trying to have balance. Let go of your conscious mind.”
“ ‘Conscious mind’?” Omega repeated. “I don’t even know what that means.”
Ventress merely sighed and caught the fruit mid air as Omega fell forward. “Try again.” She tossed the fruit back to her.
“Come on, Omega! You can do it!” Wrecker cheered supportively as he and Hunter stood further back in the cave.
“Why don’t you two make yourselves scarce?” Ventress requested as she looked at them.
“She doesn’t leave our sight. And neither do you.” Hunter replied coldly.
“How fun for me.” Ventress said dryly as she kept her eyes on them but caught the fruit as Omega fell over. “Again.” She brought her focus back to the kid and gave her the fruit back.
Omega did find herself curious as to how you already knew Ventress and how she was aware of these tests. “Since you know about these tests, you must be a Jedi, right?” She placed the fruit back on her head.
“No, but I know some of their ways.”
Omega’s brow furrowed in confusion. “But how do you-”
Ventress gripped Omega’s jaw and covered her mouth. “Enough questions. Concentrate.”
Omega inhaled and exhaled deeply and worked on grounding herself in the current moment.
--
Hunter and Wrecker kept their eyes on the two of them as they wandered over to meet Crosshair who had re-entered the cave.
“I checked Tech’s files from the Republic archives. She was right.” He showed the others the screen. “Asajj Ventress.”
Hunter took that in before he got ready with his next question, “And how’s-”
“As you’d expect.” Crosshair responded. “But she’ll be fine once we deal with this.” He said as he jutted his chin over to Ventress.
“Why would a Separatist assassin be helping us?” Wrecker wondered.
“Who says that’s what she’s doing?” Crosshair countered.
--
The distrust that Ventress had already been sensing from them was now coming to a point and she readied herself for what was about to happen. But first, she needed the kid out of here. “Well? What happened?” She asked as she heard the child fall over yet again.
Omega sighed, “I told you. It’s too slippery.” She gratefully took Ventress’ outstretched hand. “I’ll start over.”
Ventress saw out of the corner of her eye that the three clones had advanced towards her. “No need. We’re moving on to the next test. There’s a weeping maya tree up in the colonnade. Retrieve one of its white blossoms and return before the sun sets.”
“It’s too far away.” Omega protested. “And- well the sun’s already started s-” The look Ventress gave her silenced any further arguments so all that was left to do was start running.
--
Ventress kept her back to the clones. “Now that she’s gone, let me give you some advice. Whatever you’re planning on doing won’t end well for you. The one that could actually challenge me is no longer with you.” She turned and felt into the Force around them, and the words got reaction she expected, but there was a different type of intensity from the clone with the skull tattoo and that intrigued her. She walked a few paces. “Think carefully. How do you want this to go?” She studied the unfriendly faces. “You asked for my help. Remember?”
“That’s before we realised who you are.” Hunter said. “Now leave.”
“You know, she knew very well who I was, and if she’d done her job right, I wouldn’t need to be here.” Ventress goaded.
“Leave.” Hunter repeated firmly, doing his best to keep his reactions steady.
But he couldn’t control the ripple in the Force around him that Ventress picked up on and she grew even more curious as to the relationship between the two of you. “I’ll consider it, once I’ve finished testing Omega’s abilities.” She saw the shared looks between them and decided it was time to test how far their protectiveness extended. “Or maybe I’ll stick around here a bit longer.”
“Wrong. Get in your ship and go. Before we make you.” Wrecker threatened.
“You can try.” She crooned.
“We’ve taken down worse.” Crosshair retorted.
“So have I.” She summoned the Force and took their blasters from them. “No cheating.” She said in a sing-song voice before she welcomed their attack.
--
You were feeling more level-headed now and decided to head to the cave since there was no sign of the others yet and if there was anything you could do to help with the process, that’s what you were going to do.
You stepped out of the Marauder and lightly jogged down the winding levels of Pabu, but a figure bumped into you just as you came down one of the staircases, panting hard. “Omega? What are you doing here?”
“Can’t talk. Need… to find Batcher.” Omega said breathlessly as she tried to dart past you.
“Hold on.” You caught her upper arm. “Why? Where are the others?”
“They’re… back… at the… cave.” Omega managed to get her breathing under control. “Ventress told me to go. It’s the second test and I’ve got to get to the maya tree and back before sunset!”
“Ventress sent you out?” Alarm bells started ringing in your head. “And the others are still there?” You double checked, your panic growing by the second.
“I just said that! Now I’ve got to go!”
But you’d already released her and had started to sprint in the direction of the cave.
Omega watched you go in confusion. That hadn’t been the reaction she’d expected- you had looked… worried? She didn’t have time to linger over it. She whistled for Batcher as she heard the familiar bark. “Hey, girl. I’m gonna need some help. I need to get to the Archium, and fast.” She hopped on Batcher’s back.
--
The sight of the three of them at her mercy sent a stab of cold fear through your heart. Crosshair was hunched over and holding his ribs in agony but what terrified you more was the fact that Ventress had Wrecker in a Force-choke whilst her blade was pointed at Hunter who was sprawled on the cave floor.
And while your mind may have jumped to slightly more ill-timed and inappropriate scenarios upon seeing Hunter’s legs spread like that, you quickly brought your concentration back to the issue at hand.
You called on the Force and pushed Ventress into the cave wall. You then heard Wrecker’s coughs and gasps for air, and you saw in your peripheral the way Hunter attempted to stand up. Stay down. You told him as you kept your eyes fixed on Ventress.
Ventress pushed herself up off the floor and wiped away the blood that dripped from a fresh cut on her mouth. “I was wondering when the Jedi would come out to play.” She sneered as she reignited her lightsaber.
She advanced towards you once more. “I wonder if you’ll even provide me with more of a challenge than that lot- not a very impressive bunch. I could do you a favour by ridding you of them, particularly that one.” She scorned as she looked to the clone with the skull tattoo. She sniggered at you as she sensed swell of emotions in the Force around you that proved her suspicions.
You glared at her and clenched your jaw but said nothing, you only unclipped your lightsaber and ignited it. The blue blade came thrumming to life as you let the connection between you and the weapon flow through you.
Ventress swung her lightsaber towards the centre of your chest.
You blocked her move and the fight between you got underway.
--
The others could only watch the two of you in quiet awe. Yellow and blue blades clashed against each other in well-timed and well-placed strikes. Both of your movements were so fluid, it looked like the two of you were engaged in a coordinated dance- only the stakes were much greater in this. And it was far more tense to just watch.
--
You were on the back-foot, there was no denying that fact, Ventress had a higher skillset, and you were out of practice. You’d only really been able to work on deflecting blaster fire and going over the different stances and fight positions could only get you so far.
But what did give you an edge was that you were fighting for your family and the people you loved and that gave you a different type of strength which kept you in with a shot.
--
Ventress continued her aggressive assault, but you were blocking her strikes with a degree of finesse she hadn’t been expecting. You weren’t backing down as easily as she thought you might. She had thought the argument with the child and seeing the clones in danger would unbalance you, but it seemed to fire you up and there was no loss of control. Clearly emotions didn’t distract you like they used to do with your fellow Jedi, so she had to push them in a different direction, “Falling for a clone? What would your precious Jedi Council say?” Ventress provoked again as she swung her blade around for another strike.
“Well, lucky for me they’re all dead.” You snarked back as you redirected the next jab of her lightsaber into the cave floor before you flipped over her head. But you didn’t turn in time, and she was able to land a harsh kick to your side that sent you stumbling to your knees.
You barely had time to stand up before she was on you again. You angled your blade up as she brought her blade down towards you. Your front left leg bent forwards whilst your other leg was in a lunge behind you, your knee down towards the ground and your back arched as she pushed yours closer to your face.
“I remember you. Your master died on Felucia didn’t he? During a recon mission.” Ventress said cruelly as she held her blade on top of yours.
You felt your foot slide behind you as she pressed her blade against yours, but you weren’t going to let her words unravel you- she wouldn’t win that particular fight with you. “I’d rather that than know he got bored and just left me for dead.” You smirked as you saw the words had the intended effect. You felt the wave of emotion that surged around her, and you felt the pressure against your blade drop which meant you were able to push back against her.
You pulled your blade away from hers and landed a sharp kick to her stomach to create some distance between you both. “What’s the matter, Ventress? Still not over Dooku dropping you without a second thought?” You mocked.
Ventress snarled and lunged for you again.
Her moves were becoming more undisciplined, so they were easier to block and gain the upper hand. “I don’t know how you still showed your face after that, if my master pulled something like that, I’d be pretty fucking humiliated.” You continued to press as she now became the one who had to block your strikes.
Ventress backed off for a moment to regain the composure she was surprised to find she’d so quickly lost. She’d underestimated your emotional control and you’d managed to turn things around rather rapidly. If she wasn’t careful, the outcome of this would not be favourably for her.
You didn’t give her much time to recover. “And since you want to talk about falling for people, why don’t we talk about Quinlan?” When you’d first heard rumours of her death, that had been a familiar name to go along with it, so it had been a gamble to use it, but it worked. It had been the breaking point you needed to hit.
Ventress released an enraged shout and lunged forwards.
You ducked under her uncoordinated swing, but it was a move that also left you vulnerable and she gathered herself quicker than you’d anticipated.
As you rose and jutted your blade out, it stopped by the side of her neck just as hers stopped by yours. You could feel the heat from the blade as it hummed against your skin, but you did not flinch.
You did not falter.
You held her stare.
And waited.
--
“I’ve got the white blossom! Wh- what’s going on? Stop!” Omega shouted as she re-entered the cavern and saw the way her lying on the rocks, brothers were beaten and sore, and how you and Ventress were standing off– your blades at each other’s throats.
“She’s been lying to you, Omega. She’s a war criminal.” You said you did not yield to Ventress yet.
“Times have changed. Something you all should be familiar with.” Ventress replied.
“We are not the same.” You growled.
“No? Clones and Jedi were pawns in the same war as was I. And we all lost.” She disengaged her lightsaber first and stared you down. “The Empire is more dangerous than you could possibly fathom. I’m many things but I am not your enemy. Not anymore.”
You breathed heavily as you looked at her, but you couldn’t bring yourself to do it, not when she could’ve killed them and decided not to. For that reason, you found part of yourself believing what she said. You deactivated your blade and watched her go to her ship.
Omega dashed over to the others to make sure they were fine.
You reattached your lightsaber and placed your hands on your hips as they all got to their feet. “Everyone alright?” When they nodded, you spoke more sternly and more seriously than you ever had with them before. “Good. All of you get to the Marauder right now.” You turned on your heels and made your way out the cave.
“Uh… are we in trouble?” Wrecker asked Hunter apprehensively, his throat still slightly sore from experiencing what he just had.
Hunter let out a knowing sigh as he watched you go. “Yeah, we’re in trouble.”
--
The others could only watch and listen from their seats as you strode up and down the cockpit- each step punctuated by a new reprimand.
“Of all the irresponsible…”
“Thoughtless…”
“Misguided…”
“Reckless…”
“Idiotic…”
“Foolish…”
“Rash…”
“And downright stupid plans that you could come up with… that was by far the worst one!” You stopped mid stride and faced them all. “You do not go up against a Sith assassin with just three people and blasters! That was a fight you were never going to win!”
“Hey, we were just getting warmed up.” Wrecker protested but your answering glare had him looking down at the floor sheepishly.
“And you! Exactly what part of ‘do not engage’ was unclear?!” You said heatedly in Crosshair’s direction who just shrugged and continued to chew his toothpick, but you saw a flash of regret behind his eyes. “She could’ve killed you guys; do you understand that?!”
“Sweetheart-”
“No!” You shook your head at Hunter to stop him before you continued, “She could’ve killed you all if I hadn’t shown up in time!”
“You did.” Hunter reminded you gently.
“But I didn’t!” You tossed your hands in the air and then gestured to each of them, starting with Hunter. “She had a lightsaber pointed at your neck!”
You then focused on Wrecker. “She was choking the life out of you!”
Then you shifted to Crosshair. “And you were out for the count keeled over in pain, and it wouldn’t have taken much for her to finish you off!”
You addressed them all as a group again, “I don’t know why she didn’t follow through, but she could’ve ended everything right then and there, and I wouldn’t have arrived in time to stop it.” The thought took the wind right out of you, and you inhaled sharply and braced your hands on your knees. “You are all I have left. I can’t lose-” You straightened up. “I can’t lose any of you.” You repeated softly. “Not like that.”
Hunter slowly got to his feet and walked over to you. He put his hands on your shoulders to reassure you, “We’re okay.” He said, his voice a quiet murmur as he looked at you. “We’re okay.” He whispered again as he brushed the back of his fingers against your cheek.
You felt some of the stress and upset evaporate under his touch, “Do you have any idea what it’s like to have to owe someone like that something?”
“Can’t imagine it feels great.” Hunter acknowledged, a half-smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
You managed a small smile of your own before you pulled away and looked over at Omega. “You’re done. No more tests.”
Omega frowned at you. “No way! I passed one of them and she still has more she can show me!”
“Omega, I’m telling you she can’t be trusted. You don’t know the things she did during the war. All of us do.” You replied, doing a broad sweep of the space to the rest of the squad.
“Okay, but it’s like you said, she didn’t kill them when she had the chance. She can’t really be as bad as you say.” Omega rebuked.
You hung your head with a sigh, “Omega…”
“I don’t know much about the war, but things are different now. People can change.”
“You’re being naïve.” Crosshair chimed in.
“I never gave up on you, did I?” Omega pointed out.
That made Crosshair pause and reflect more on the situation than he would’ve initially liked.
“I say we give her a chance.” She then looked glumly down at the floor, “Besides, Ventress hasn’t held anything back from me.”
Your breath caught in your throat and suddenly the ship began to feel incredibly small. You hurried outside.
--
Hunter immediately got up to follow you out, but he stopped and glanced down at Omega. He knew how badly she needed to know the truth of her situation and it outweighed the concerns the rest of them had. “I trust you. We won’t interfere but at the first sign of trouble, it stops. Understand?”
Omega nodded gratefully.
“But you need to ease up on her. She knows she messed up, but she cares about you, Omega, don’t forget that.” Hunter said before he walked out the Marauder and over to the maya tree where you were now sitting.
--
“She’s right. She’s completely right.” You said as Hunter approached and sat down next to you.
“You need to imagine how Omega feels. To her, it seems like you deliberately kept something from her that could give her more common ground with you. She looks up to you, if she knew there was a chance of something that could bring you and her closer, of course she would want to latch onto it. You can’t blame her for wanting to know.” He said honestly as he squeezed your thigh in comfort.
You brought your head back against the tree trunk and stared up at the night sky, “And that’s what kills me. I should’ve been the one to help her find out the truth, instead I just kept her in the dark and thought I knew best.”
“You’re putting too much blame on yourself. You’re human and you made a mistake. It doesn’t-”
Your frustration got the better of you and you got to your feet. “Who else am I supposed to blame, Hunter?! This is on me! I hurt Omega! I let her down!” You blinked back the angry tears that threatened to spill from your eyes.
Hunter stood up and tentatively reached for you. His eyes softened in concern as he saw the anguish written across your face and it pained him to see you so affected by this. “Sweetheart-”
You began your distressed pacing again, “I could’ve tested her; I know how to, and I didn’t! If I hadn’t just rejected the possibility of her being like me and actually done the tests, Ventress wouldn’t have stayed, and we’d be no worse off than we are now! Instead, Imight as well have guided Omega to her! And I endangered the rest of you in the process! All of you could be dead because I couldn’t do one simple thing!”
“Stop.” Hunter caught your wrist and stepped in front of you, but you averted your eyes from his. “Look at me.” But you ignored him. “Please, look at me.” He said soothingly as he delicately tilted your chin up.
Your throat bobbed with the effort of keeping the tears at bay.
Hunter stroked a hand through your hair, “Everything is going to be okay. Omega’s a good kid, she’s just hurting right now. Give it time and you two will be alright.” He pulled you to his chest and held you close. “She’s still a clone, still one of us. Loyalty runs in her blood. She’ll come around.”
It was automatic the way you relaxed into his hold and wrapped your arms around his back. She’s doing another test tomorrow, isn’t she? You asked as you rested your head in the crook of his neck.
“We can watch from a far but we’re not interfering unless we have to.” Hunter murmured as he pressed his lips to your temple.
You heaved a deep breath but accepted that that was to be the course of action.
“Come on, we should get some rest.” Hunter released his hold on you and intertwined his hand in yours as he led you back to the ship.
--
“No chaperones today?” Ventress observed as the young clone came to stand next to her as she waited by the docks.
“Nope. You said, ‘no distractions.’”
Ventress only glanced down at the hound that remained by the girl’s side. “I’m surprised you came to find me. I can’t imagine your Jedi friend is particularly pleased about this. They all must have told you about the things I’ve done.”
“They did.” Omega said animatedly. “But you also stuck around instead of leaving, so I think you’re trying to help me. And you may have history with (Y/N) but you like us. I can tell.” She added victoriously.
“You’re an odd little clone.”
“Thanks.” Omega replied cheerily. “So what did the tests tell you?”
“You failed the first one.” Ventress said as she passed her by and headed for the boat.
“But I passed the second. That has to mean something, right?” Omega reminded her optimistically.
“Hmm. We’ll see.” Ventress boarded the ship. “Get in. Time for your final test.”
Omega bid Batcher farewell before she too stepped aboard and offered Ventress a warm and sincere smile.
“Stop smiling. It’s unsettling.” Ventress griped as she clicked the controls that would set the boat in the direction of the open sea.
--
“Should we be out this far?” Omega asked. She could barely see Pabu anymore; the clouds had grown darker and there was more of a fog out here.
“It’ll be easier to concentrate.”
“On what, exactly?”
“Many who wield the Force have an affinity for nature. They connect with things that respond to their energy.”
“Oh! I know about that! (Y/N) has done it a bunch of times!”
“And yet she never thought to show you.”
Omega glanced away to mask her reaction to the comment.
Ventress rolled her eyes. The attachments between you all were so glaringly obvious, it was no wonder the child had not been exposed to the potential of a Jedi way of life. You undoubtedly didn’t want to risk her safety any more than what was at play already. “Now’s your chance to give it a try.” She brought one of the rudders up to the surface for Omega to stand on.
Omega stepped onto it and awaited further instructions.
“Close your eyes and reach out.”
“For what?” Omega queried uncertainly.
“Everything.”
Omega took the cryptic advice and began.
--
Wrecker lowered his macrobinoculars. “I don’t like this. We should be out there with her.” Wrecker said with an uneasy sigh.
“We gave Omega our word we wouldn’t intervene.” Hunter reminded him, taking his sights away from his own binoculars.
“You did.” Crosshair interjected.
“Besides, Ventress won’t do anything right now. She’ll know you’re watching.” You said unhappily as you leaned against the stone column, one foot braced behind you, arms crossed.
Wrecker raised his binoculars again. “We’re so far away, there’s no chance…” He trailed off with a shocked gasp as he saw Ventress looking directly in his line of vision. “How’d she know we’re watching?!”
“Same way I’d know.” You grumbled.
--
Omega released a frustrated grunt and opened her eyes. “Forget it.”
“Giving up so soon?”
“This isn’t working. I don’t feel anything. I don’t even know what I’m supposed to be doing.” Omega replied, her voice rising in aggravation. “This is a waste of time.”
“I blame those four overprotective shadows for your lack of training and discipline.” Ventress said critically.
Omega turned to her and rested her hands on her hips indignantly. “I am trained.”
Ventress got to her feet. “This is different than being a soldier, something you’d know had the Jedi told you of your possibilities. Even if you have Force potential, they can’t show you how to tap into it and she certainly won’t- she’s too worried about what other danger that could put you in to allow you to explore that.”
Omega lifelessly jumped back into the boat, sat down, and crossed her arms. Even if Ventress was right, you were all still her family and she couldn’t just dismiss that.
“Since you seem content with that, perhaps this is a waste of time.” Ventress mused.
“I bet you don’t understand any of this either. (Y/N) even struggles to explain it sometimes.” Omega argued. “So, why should I listen to you?”
Ventress simply glided to the edge of the boat enacted the instructions she had told Omega before. She listened to the wind around her, the sounds of the waves lapping against the boat and felt beneath the water for the thriving life that lived there.
Omega watched in awe as schools of luminous green fish appeared from the deep. Whether she wanted to admit it or not, you both may not be able to always coherently explain how it worked but what you did say clearly meant something.
“I’m not the one holding back.” Ventress said, exhaling deeply and letting go of the connection.
But then something shifted, there was a low bellowing sound coming from the deep and both of them watched in confusion as the fish hurriedly swam away.
“What happened? Why’d they go?” Omega asked.
Her question was soon answered as a giant sea creature crashed beneath the bottom of their boat, making is spin out of control.
“Did you summon that?” Omega asked as she stared at the creature as it broke to the surface with a piercing screech, yellow algae dripping from its mouth.
“Not intentionally.” Ventress programmed the boat to head back to the docks.
--
You pushed off the column as you felt a creeping disturbance settling in your veins and Crosshair’s words confirmed it.
“Well, that doesn’t look good.” He stated as he saw the action through his scope.
“Get to the Marauder.” Hunter ordered.
--
The boat didn’t make it very far. The vessel was completely capsized by the creature, and they went flailing into the water.
They treaded water for a moment before Omega felt a tentacle wrap around her leg and pull her under.
Ventress dived after her and dodged the other tentacles as she ignited her lightsaber and cut through the one that was pulling Omega further down. She grabbed her and made a break for the surface.
Omega gasped for oxygen as she reached the open air and the two of them quickly swam to their upturned boat and stood on top of it. They watched as the Marauder came flying into view and fired down on the creature but, judging by the enraged screeches and flailing of tentacles, that seemed to only anger it further.
“Your friends are making things worse. I can do this on my own!” Ventress yelled above the chaos. She let the tentacle that came for her wrap around her body and bring her closer to its mouth. She didn’t focus on the danger of the situation, she only focused on bridging the connection between the animal and her.
Omega brought out her comm, “Hunter, stop firing. Ventress can handle it.”
“Doesn’t look like it from up here.”
“You’d trust (Y/N) in this situation, you should trust her too!”
Hunter glanced beside him to where you were sitting in the co-pilot’s chair expecting to see disagreement but instead- despite the reluctance on your face- you nodded your head.
--
Omega looked on in admiration as she saw the creature quiet down and let out an affection rumble as Ventress pressed her hand against its face.
“You actually did it.” She breathed as the animal set Ventress back down and retreated back to the depths. She’d never seen that gift be used to actually calm a threat before, she’d only ever see you do it on non-threatening animals and it gave her a true indication as to what you could be capable of too.
“Don’t sound so surprised.” Ventress quipped.
The Marauder came back around, and Crosshair descended the steps. He reached a handout to Omega to help her up before he offered the same courtesy to Ventress.
--
The group of you were back at the cavern as you anxiously awaited the results from Ventress.
“Did you figure it out? Do I have a high M-count?” Omega inquired as Ventress exited her ship and came towards you all.
“From what I’ve seen? No.”
You held back the massive sigh of relief that threatened to leave your lungs but despite apparent good news, something about it still didn’t sit right.
Omega hung her head in disappointment. She was still without the answers she so desperately wanted. “Then why’s the Empire after me?”
“Believe it or not, I don’t know everything. But seeing as how a high M-count would make you a target…” Her eyes shot over to you. “…Consider yourself lucky.” She looked back down at Omega.
“But I’m already a target.”
Wrecker walked up and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “Uh, don’t worry about it, kid. We’re gonna figure it out. Come on. Let’s go get some chow.”
Omega sighed, “Thanks. For trying.”
Ventress gave her a small nod in acknowledgement before the kid walked away and she turned her attention back to the three of you that stayed behind.
“You’re lying.” Crosshair stated suspiciously.
“About which part?” Ventress replied coyly.
Hunter narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms, “You tell us.”
“If Omega did have that potential, she’d have to be trained, which would mean leaving you behind.”
“That’s not happening.” Hunter said immediately.
“And it wouldn’t need to.” You added firmly.
“I don’t think you realise just how unique you really are.” Ventress said to you. “But even with your affinity for handling attachment, you let it get the best of you when it came to the child. You let your urge to protect her cloud your better judgement and that undoubtedly would be a problem in training her. So, what you want is irrelevant. The fact is, the Empire is after her and they’re after you…” She then looked between you all, “And they won’t stop.”
“And are you going to help them?” You challenged.
“Don’t insult me, I have no interest in the Empire’s agenda towards our kind. Plus, I don’t fancy getting into another brawl with you all even if I wanted to turn you in.” Ventress added as she saw the way the two clones tensed up and your hand drifted back to your lightsaber. She addressed you all as a group again, “So, if I were you, I’d leave this place. You’re not as safe as you think you are.” Ventress turned her back on the three of you but before she left, she said over her shoulder, “Our business is done.” She carried on walking away.
“I still can’t figure out what side you’re on.” Crosshair said.
“My own.” She responded calmly without stopping.
“You’re not worried about the Empire coming after you?” Hunter called to her back.
That made Ventress wait. “They can try. But I’ve got a few lives left.” She said cryptically.
You all made your way back to the Marauder as her ship took off.
--
Crosshair and Hunter paused as they saw you halt by the steps.
You nodded to them to go head in. Omega, can we talk?
Omega gave a small wave of farewell to Wrecker and the others when they entered as she left to join you outside the Marauder. She saw you open your mouth to speak but she jumped in ahead of you, “I’m sorry I gave you such a hard time. I just…” She trailed off as she saw you shaking your head.
You crouched down and rested your hands on her shoulders, “You have nothing to be sorry for, Omega. Absolutely nothing. I’m the one that needs to apologise to you.” You took a breath, “I’m sorry I never told you about the tests.”
Omega tilted her head at you, but she saw genuine remorse in your eyes. “Why didn’t you? Why did I have to hear about them from Ventress?” She asked, a hint of sadness in her voice.
You inhaled deeply and Ventress’ words lingered in your head, “I love you, kid, I just want you to be safe. I think in my urge to do so, I neglected to do the things that could truly ensure that. I got too concerned with what risks of the results of those tests could mean that I felt it was better to not even entertain the possibility.”
“I mean, you were right. I’m not Force-sensitive and we still have no idea what an M-count means for me.” Omega said gloomily.
“I may have been right…” You said gently, “…but I should’ve been more thorough and told you about the tests and carried them out. I shouldn’t have kept you in the dark and for that I am so sorry. I got what protecting you meant all twisted in my head.”
Omega looked down and scuffed the ground with the toe of her boot, “So… it wasn’t because you didn’t want me to be like you?” She whispered.
Your heart went out to her immediately and you hated that you had ever given that impression. “Oh, honey, no.” You brushed through the loose strands of hair that came to rest just past her forehead. “My only concern with it was that it would put you in more danger than you’re already in. It’s not easy being a Jedi in the best of circumstances, let alone how things are now.” You affectionately brought her chin up so she would meet your gaze as you said warmly, “But if you had been, I would’ve loved to share that experience with you.”
Omega’s expression softened as she heard the sincerity in your words. “I’m not that lost kid you found on Kamino; you don’t have to make choices for me. I can handle more now.”
Ventress may have been right about you in this situation, but it wasn’t one you were ever wanting to repeat. You could change. You would change. “I won’t make decisions like that for you anymore and I won’t hide things from you, you have my word.” You promised.
Omega exhaled a breath of relief, “I don’t like falling out with you.” She said quietly, a forgiving smile on her face.
You chuckled lightly. “I don’t like it either.” You brought her in for a hug. Let’s not do it again, okay?
Omega hugged you back tightly in answer.
--
All was quiet in the Marauder, save for the familiar snores coming from Wrecker’s bunk and the occasional whine from Batcher as she dreamt but nothing felt amiss.
You and Hunter were yet to fall asleep. The night was when the two of you had an opportunity to switch off for a moment and be in each other’s company without having to worry about the others seeing and commenting. It was a time where the two of you didn’t need to be Sergeant and Jedi or think about the Empire but where it could just be you and Hunter.
You were laying on top of his arm as he hugged you into his side. One of your legs was hoisted over his lap as you nuzzled into him and touched the necklace on his chest that sat proudly on display over his sleep clothes. The two of you were sharing in light, delicate kisses between breaths as you lay together.
“Did I mention how impressive you looked going up against Ventress today?” Hunter said quietly against your lips into the silence of the ship.
Do I not look like that anyway? You teased as you left featherlight kisses along the column of his neck.
“Yes, smartass.” Hunter breathed as he focused on the sensation of your lips on his skin.
Well, no you didn’t, but I’d rather you never gave me a reason to have to do that in the first place. You glanced up at him with a playful scolding expression.
“Hmm, well if you look as strong and capable as you did today, I might just have to risk it.” Hunter kidded as he kissed the crown of your head whilst his free hand ran up and down your thigh.
You narrowed your eyes at him but there was an amused smile on your face. You traced your lips along his jaw. Oh really?
He hummed in an affirmative answer before he brought his lips to yours in a soft, tender kiss like the ones before- one that did not have to lead to anything more. But as he felt your twist your hands in his shirt and heard your breath hitch, he cradled the side of your jaw to encourage you to open up to him more.
You sighed happily into the kiss and pressed yourself tighter to him and went to fully straddle his lap, but he beat you to it.
Hunter, without breaking away, rolled you so that you were on your back, and he was on top of you. He kissed you with the passion and love he could only express when the rest of his family were not around before he pulled away from your lips and began pressing doting kisses along your neck.
You felt his teeth graze your pulse point. Don’t get too carried away. You said, weaving your hands in his hair as you held back a groan and resisted the urge to roll your hips against his. The words were also a reminder for you- you both needed to remember where you currently were.
Hunter huffed out a disgruntled moan against your neck, but he stopped. However, he didn’t lie down next you again, he opted to rest his head on your chest instead.
His weight on you always acted as a secure and reassuring presence, so you always welcomed the position. It was also him offering you a degree of vulnerability and trust that he so rarely allowed himself to enjoy so it always made your heart swell when he showed this side of himself to you.
Hunter listened to the steady beat of your heart, each thump reminding him of what he was fighting for, of what he had to protect. “We need to keep you and Omega safe… and I think- I think Ventress is right. We can’t stay here.” He whispered.
“We’ll talk about it more tomorrow.” You murmured as you tenderly ran your fingers through his hair and across his scalp. You felt him release a relaxed sigh at your actions. “Right now, we need to get some sleep.”
“I love you.” He mumbled sleepily as he got lost in your touch and let the tiredness overwhelm him.
“I love you too.” You replied as you closed your eyes.

“I hope you’ve been a good girl for me.”
“I have,” your voice was breathy as you obediently replied.
Fennec narrowed her eyes at your figure, “We’ll see,” she purred.
She stood before you, still fully clothed, while you laid spread out on the bed. Your hands were tied to each of the posts, leaving you completely open and exposed for Fennec. And you knew there was no escape; she was a master at tying people down. Still, you strained under her piercing gaze as you tried to wriggle free. It was all part of the game.
In her hands she held a crop, and she cracked it in her hands to get your attention. At the sound, you stopped and stilled yourself. You looked up at her with wide eyes and baited breath. The anticipation was eating you alive as you laid there, bound and helpless. A small whimper escaped your lips as you waited for her next move.
Fennec’s gaze held an inferno of passions, and the blaze only burned more when her eyes landed on your dripping cunt. For the briefest moment, her facade faltered and you saw how much she held herself back with you like this.
“You know the rules,” her tone was low as she positioned herself at the foot of the bed, right between your spread legs.
You nodded, “Yes, ma’am.”
“And you have your signal if you need to stop.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
She smirked, “Good girl.”
Suddenly, Fennec used the crop in her land and landed a hard slap on your pussy with it. You threw your head back onto the bed and screamed as tears filled your eyes. She watched your reaction with titillation as your breasts rose and fell with your heavy breaths.
“Thank you ma’am,” you panted.
Fennec grinned at you as she watched you regain your composure. She knew the trust it took for you to do this, and she didn’t take it for granted. But, she also was so turned on just by the sight of you tied up that she wasn’t sure how much longer her composure would last. So, before she lost it, Fennec snapped the crop against your pussy again, even harder this time.
Again, you screamed in ecstasy before you breathed a soft, “Thank you, ma’am.”
Fennec slid the tip of the crop along your folds, teasing you with it as you whined and bucked your hips as much as you could. Your eyes fluttered shut, but she allowed it. She rubbed the leather end of the crop against your clit and her breath caught in her throat when you moaned loudly at the feeling. Your arms and legs strained against your restraints as you squirmed under her expert touch.
As much as Fennec wanted to toy with you more, she reached a point where she couldn’t restrain herself anymore. Between how tempting you looked when you were helpless like that and the sounds you made, something within Fennec broke.
She tossed the crop aside and slid off her gloves before she knelled on the bed between your legs. You gasped when you felt the bed dip and your eyes shot open to meet her gaze. Without a word, Fennec ghosted her bare fingers along your inner thighs, and you squealed as she tickled you.
Still tied to the bedposts, you couldn’t move very far save for rolling a bit. You let out a mix of a moan and a laugh as Fennec’s hands made their way to your core. When she reached her destination, she cupped your pussy and clenched her jaw when she felt how wet you were. Before she could help herself, Fennec landed a slap on your cunt with her bare hand, and she clenched her thighs together at the beautiful sound you let out.
“Thank you, ma’am,” you whispered as you strained in your binds.
Fennec let out a short laugh, “You have been a good girl,” she purred before she dove two fingers into your pussy.
You screamed at the sudden intrusion, but you swam in the pleasure that it brought you. For a moment, you forgot you were tied down and tried to wrap yourself around Fennec, but you couldn’t move more than an inch or two. Being bound and helpless for her brought you even more pleasure and you cried out even louder as she pumped her fingers in and out of you.
“Does that feel good, love?” she purred as she added a third finger and thrust even harder.
“Yes… ma’am…” you found it more difficult to find your words the more she worked you.
“Good,” Fennec’s tone dropped as she rubbed your clit with her thumb and leaned forward so that she hovered over you, “Now, keep being my good girl and cum for me,” she thrust her fingers once, “Can you do that?”
“Y-yes,” you sighed, “Please… Make me cum… I want to cum.”
“I know you do,” Fennec groaned as she felt your inner muscles clench around her.
You wriggled in your restraints as she pumped her fingers harder and faster, hitting every spot that made you scream. Fennec watched with a hungry gaze as you fell apart for her while still bound. You felt like her binds were the only thing keeping you together as your body and mind swam in bliss.
“Oh fuck… Fuck… I’m gonna cum…”
Fennec only thrust her fingers harder, determined to watch you as you lost yourself in your release. And it didn’t take much longer for her to get what she wanted. Just as Fennec hit that sweet spot inside you, you let out a loud scream and trembled in your bounds as your orgasm crashed through you.
Wave after wave of pleasure hit you as you strained against the binds that held you down. Every muscle in your body tensed before letting go. Tears filled your eyes as you rode out your climax on Fennec’s fingers until you had nothing left to give.
Or so you thought.
She didn’t let up, and Fennec took advantage of your restraints to keep going even after your orgasm. You looked up at her with wide, teary eyes, but she didn’t stop. Her fingers continued to pump in and out of you and your mouth dropped open to let out another loud moan as another climax quickly snuck up on you.
You dropped your head back down as you came again, this time gushing into her hand. You screamed her name as you tugged at your binds while your second orgasm ripped through your body.
Once Fennec decided you had enough, she gave you mercy and slowed down her thrusts before gently pulling her fingers out of you. She moaned when she saw how much they glistened from your juices and when she looked past her fingers at you, the sight took her breath away.
You looked a mess, but, still bound, you looked so beautiful and delicious. Fennec whispered your anime and watched for you to open your eyes and meet hers before she made a show of licking her fingers clean of your juices. You couldn’t help but moan as you suddenly wanted more, even after you came twice in a row.
She, of course, noticed, “You want more already, darling?” Fennec asked in a teasing tone.
You swallowed hard as you tugged at your restraints, “Yes ma’am,” your voice was hushed and shy, yet the lust was still palpable.
Fennec smirked, “Good,” she leaned forward and hovered her lips over yours. She gave you one short, taunt of a kiss before she murmured, “Because I’m not done with you yet…”

Dune Cat Master List
(A Fennec x Fem! Reader Fic)
Read Here on AO3
Summary:
The huntress walked with purpose, but there was a precision, an elegance to her movements that spoke of confidence and a silent readiness. She was beautiful, in an odd and dangerous way. Like a wild animal you couldn't get close to without getting clawed.
Yet it wasn't just that.
Fennec was beautiful like a cold blade, yes, but the way that she looked at you with a barely concealed interest made a part of you grow warm under her gaze. If you dwelled on the coy smile she had offered you for too long then you could feel a shiver trill up your spine. The attention was not entirely unwelcome, and a part of you wondered if Fennec might have more than just a passing interest in you.
The stare she gave you left no questions about the intent there, gaze keen with interest. Yet it was in the way that a hunter summed up their quarry, noting their weaknesses as they stalked in for the kill. For a moment you felt almost like prey.

Protection (Boba Fett x Reader)
Tumblr media
(Gif Not Mine)
Summary: Five times the people in the palace saw how protective Boba was of you and one time you got to protect him. (5+1; Gender Neutral Reader) Word Count: 3,325 Warnings: Mild Violence, Disrespectful Language Directed at Reader, Assassination Attempt on Boba, Fire, No Y/N, Petnames (Cyar'ika, Mesh'la) Crossposted on AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/35277751
---
I.
Your place at the palace had been a topic of discussion ever since Boba had taken over Tatooine. You had been by his side from the start, arriving soon after him and Fennec. And ever since then, people have been talking. Some assumed you were his spouse, others questioned if you were a pleasure slave – and questioned why the man so against slavery was keeping you as one – and some others thought you were an advisor.
And your interactions with people at the court, diplomats on visits, and the king himself made things no clearer. You were friendly and polite to the others at court as though you were a worker like them, never seeing yourself as above them and always treating them with respect. When there were diplomats visiting, you were next to Boba, making deals and talking politics. And when there was peace and celebration at the palace, you were by his side, holding onto his arm, sitting in his lap on the throne, or affectionately talking to him.
When you weren’t around, like this time, Boba was sitting on the throne alone, Fennec next to him. She was talking to him in a low voice while he surveyed the room. Perhaps he was looking for you, some of the guests mused.
And then, you walked into the room, quickly approaching the throne. Your usual air of confidence seemed off with how fast you approached Boba to grasp his hand and sit on the arm of the throne. Boba noticed the changes in your demeanour, too, and let go of your hands to place one of his on the small of your back, pulling you a little closer until you were leaning against him.
“Are you alright?”
You nodded at Boba, a little too quickly and vehemently for it to not be suspicious. “I’m fine. I just had an unpleasant run-in with one of the guards.”
“What?” Boba hissed and let go of you to grasp at your arm and examine you. When he spotted the marks on your wrists he seemed furious and the people in the court quieted down. “Did they touch you?”
“He tried to-- tried to threaten me. He grabbed my arm and-- and held me to the wall. I managed to free myself but that other guard, she was just standing by and she didn’t help me.” You recounted, stumbling over your words. “On the contrary – she egged him on.”
“What guards?” Boba asked, grabbing your hand once again, watching your shoulders relax at the gesture. “What are their names?”
“I don’t know their names but I could point them out to you.”
“No one touches you.” He hissed. “You are my riduur and no one is allowed to treat you like that, with the intent to harm you!”
“Boba, please calm down. I’m fine.”
“Do you want them dead?”
You quieted down before slowly sliding off the arm of the throne and into his lap, arms wrapping around his arm. His protectiveness seemed to make you feel so much more at ease as you inched ever so closely.
“Cyar’ika, do you want them dead?” Boba asked one more, though his hand found its way to your hair quickly. “I will surely punish them but I want your opinion on what they deserve.”
“No.” You said softly. “I just want to be sure that I never have to see them again.”
“That can certainly be arranged.”
---
II.
You were his spouse. He had said so himself. If you two were actually married or if he just referred to you as such out of possessiveness or sentimentality was still unclear. But nevertheless, people were now sure of his romantic relationship with you. And they acted accordingly.
After the guards that had harassed you were sent away, people worried to meet the same fate and kept their distance. They could tell that it saddened you, could see the disappointment in your eyes and the way you tried to talk to the other people in the palace, but they didn’t want to risk it.
With everyone in the palace being so careful around you and trying to avoid being punished by Boba, it came to no surprise that you were delighted by the news that some sort of negotiator was coming to visit the palace. Now Boba hadn’t told you the exact reason they were coming but you knew enough about them, their plans to trade with Tatooine and their customs to entertain them during the fest that would follow the negotiations.
The people in the palace watched as you laughed away with one of the negotiators, telling her about how wonderfully Tatooine had developed since Boba had come to power. And they also watched as Boba eyed you with a fond expression, helmet on the arm of the throne and a soft smile on his face.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t long until things got out of hand. A guest stumbled and fell against one of the lights that were illuminating the throne hall, kicking loose a chain of events that would lead to the room being engulfed in flames. The light broke and the fire spread over the curtains and few wooden structures, quickly lighting them ablaze. People panicked immediately, cramming to get out of the room.
“Follow me!” You instructed the negotiator. “Keep close to the wall so you don’t get pushed around.”
“Thank you.” She said and grabbed onto your wrist, letting you lead her toward the exit. “Thank you so much.”
With a bit of difficulty, you managed to get her to the door and ushered her outside. You were about to turn back to look for Boba when a cracking sound from just above you caught your attention. And you barely had the time to look up before a large wooden beam came crashing toward you. Instinctively, you cowered, covering your head to shield it but the expected blow never came.
When you looked up, you found Boba next to you, arm angled and held up, keeping the beam from crushing you. Quickly you moved away from the wooden beam and watched Boba drop it to the floor before he turned, grasping your arms.
“You need to leave.”
“What about you?” You asked desperately, trying to find his eyes through the helmet he now had on again. “You need to get out!”
“I need to help put out the fire.” He said and pushed you toward the door. “Go, get to safety and wait for me!”
Despite your initial hesitance, you left, figuring that if you were gone he would have one less person to worry about and could concentrate on getting himself to safety. Yet, no one could deny the worry on your face or the tears in your eyes as you watched more and more people leave the palace, Boba not amongst them.
And when he eventually came outside, the people of the court all watched you sprint toward him before hurling yourself into his arms. He caught you with little difficulty and held you tightly as you took a few deep breaths until he spoke up to calm you down.
“Don’t worry, Cyar’ika. I’m here now.”
---
III.
People knew that Boba was protective. So it came to no surprise that when you came back from a diplomatic mission, bloodied up and covered in bruises, he was up in arms. You had entered the throne room, the helmet you wore when flying under your arm, your hair a mess, your face covered in bruises as you looked up at the throne.
Before Boba could say anything you spoke, voice hoarse. “The diplomatic mission went well. This is simply the result of someone ambushing my ship on the way back.”
“Cyar’ika, get up here now.”
Slowly, you made your way up and everyone in the court held their breaths. Boba grabbed you as soon as you had gotten close and pulled at your arm to get you close enough to examine the wounds.
“Where are you injured?”
“Just bruises and a few scraps mostly.”
“Mostly is not good enough, Mesh’la.” He said sternly. “Anything major?”
Gingerly, you moved your hand to gesture to your hip and Boba’s eyes wandered there before he frowned. There was an obvious stab wound at your hip but your belt had been pulled so tightly that it was stopping the bleeding. Shaking his head, Boba rose to his feet and everyone around watched in anticipation.
“Fennec, take over for me while I treat these wounds.” He said and looked back at you. “You are coming with me.”
“Love, I can take care of myself.” You said softly. “I just need a few stitches and I’m sure I can find someone else to do that. You have your duties.”
“I do have my duties. And protecting my riduur is one of them.”
---
IV.
Your screams of pain jarred everyone in the throne room and within seconds Boba was at his feet, Fennec not far behind as he hurried to help. But he didn’t get far before you came scrambling into the room and when you saw the two of them, you rounded their bodies to shield yourself, fumbling for your blaster before realising it wasn’t secured to your hip and swearing quietly. While Fennec readied her gun, aiming at the door, Boba turned around to you and took hold of your arms.
“What happened?”
“That-- that man who came to negotiate who-- you turned him down and he must have been pretty angry because he grabbed me from behind and tried to kriffing-- I don’t even know what his darn plan was and I don’t want to know!”
Boba stared at you in horror, realising that a man he had let into the palace had attempted to harm you. Quickly, he drew you close, his hand shielding the back of your neck as he held you. And then the man stumbled inside, clearly drunk and a bloodied knife in his hands. He looked beaten, as though you had gotten a few good hits in before he had gotten out his knife.
And as he took in the blood dripping from the knife, Boba froze and quickly pushed you back to examine you. There was a few cuts on your arms and chest area but nothing major. Still, the knowledge that someone had hurt you like that filled him with burning rage and he called out to Fennec to immobilise the man which she did without much trouble before turning back to Boba.
“What do you want me to do with him?” She asked, holding the man’s arms behind his back and looking up at the two of you. “Shoot him?”
“Shoot me?” The man slurred. “I can-- if you hadn’t turned down my deal, your little spouse wouldn’t have gotten it, Fett!”
Fennec eyed Boba out of the corner of her eyes, watching his body tense up as he kept a protective arm around you. “What do you want me to do with him?”
“Lock him up! I’ll deal with him later.” Boba snapped and looked back at you once Fennec had begun to drag the man off. “What did he do? Did he touch you?”
“No, he just-- he got a few cuts and hits in but I’m fine.”
Boba looked at you for a long time before sighing quietly. “The man I let inside hurt you like this. How can you look at me with love in your eyes? Aren’t you angry?”
You shook your head very quickly, taking his hands into his. “It was not your fault. He attacked me. That has nothing to do with you, no matter what he said.”
“Do you need me to call someone to treat your wounds?”
“Please.”
---
V.
It wasn’t just that Boba was protective of you. He also valued your opinion and despised it when others talked down to you. If a diplomat didn’t respect you, writing you off as nothing more than the king’s spouse or if an advisor scoffed at your opinions, not considering them, Boba would reprimand them. He demanded respect for you just as much as he demanded it for himself.
Most of the time, a stern reprimand or a reminder of your position was enough to shut any disrespect down fairly quickly. But on this particular day, two negotiators had come from a faraway planet, planning on trading with Tatooine. They had talked to Boba in the throne room, laying out their demands and offerings. The other people of the court stood by, watching the negotiations go down as they quietly mused about what outcome to expect.
It wasn’t until you had chimed in, leaning down to Boba from where you had been sitting on the arm of the throne, to remind him that their demands were fairly high for what they were offering, that one of the negotiators spoke up.
“I am certain that the great Boba Fett would rather decide himself than listen to the advice of a simple pleasure slave.”
Everything went quiet as soon as the words had left the woman’s mouth. You raised your head, looking down on her while Boba straightened up in his seat and Fennec cocked her head to the side a little, waiting for the man’s response. But you were quicker.
“If I was merely a pleasure slave – which I am not – it would be horribly embarrassing for your unattractive trade offer to be caught by the likes of me, wouldn’t you think so?” You asked in a cold tone of voice.
“Boba Fett, we implore you to agree to this offer.”
“Why should he?” You asked in slight disdain. “To rely on the harvest of a planet whose climate is unpredictable at best and unfit for agriculture at worse?”
“I can assure you that our planet can sustain a harvest.”
“Is that so?” You raised an eyebrow. “Then how do you explain the countless people that have sought out refuge on Tatooine of all places after a drought or flood have wrecked their whole harvest? Then how do you explain that not even under the merciless regimes before Boba were your planet’s payments ever on time?”
“How dare you insinuate that we cannot pay you?”
“I am voicing my honest concern.” You said, mindful of everyone listening to you. “Your harvests are unreliable and you dare step before Boba with an offer like this?”
The woman shook her head at you. “I will not negotiate with a person who has found their way into the inner circle of the king by looks and no doubt the use of their body alone. I came to negotiate with Boba Fett.”
“Are you saying I used my body to get this position?” You questioned and stood from your place, aware of Boba’s eyes following you. “Or are you trying to deflect from the fact that you are offering a terrible deal?”
“How dare you? You are nothing but a pleasure slave, a common palace whore. And you dare speak to me like this?”
That’s when Boba stood, making everyone back up. The negotiator and her companion shut up, staring up at Boba in anticipation, frightened of what would happen next. He towered over them, his height accentuated by the fact that he stood on the pedestal the throne was placed on.
“How are you speak to my riduur in such a way?” He snapped, voice angry and loud. “And to think you did it because my spouse raised good points is just pathetic. Your planet is not fit for agriculture. You can barely feed your own people. There will be no trade for you with Tatooine!”
“But great Boba Fett--”
“Now leave my sight before I have you dragged out of the palace!”
---
+ I.
People knew that Boba was protective, that he was proud of being your spouse and that he seemed to genuinely care for you. But they also knew that you felt the same way about him. You loved the man, took pride in being his spouse and rarely left his side if you could help it.
Typically you could be found sitting on the throne’s arm, Boba’s lap or standing next to him. You were always trying to be close to him, talk to him or share your love for him. Like a shadow, you were always by his side.
And so you were also by his side when someone tried to assassinate him. It had been a normal day up until the early evening and everyone was gathered in the throne hall. You were as usual by Boba’s side, having long since migrated from the arm of the throne into his lap, idly running your fingers over his armour, head resting against his shoulder as he talked to you about upcoming plans.
The two of you paid little mind to the man that had entered sometime during the evening, assuming him to be another guest, and quickly gotten back to talking. Fennec had started to mingle with the people some time ago, leaving you and Boba to quietly enjoy each other’s company as he overlooked the people.
The stranger came closer to the throne, talking to a man there. You paid him no mind, still running your fingers over Boba’s armour, letting them run up and down his neck periodically as he recounted the meetings ahead.
Your eyes wandered across the room, looking at the man that was still coming closer. Some of the guests noticed the shift in your behaviour, watched as you sat up a little straighter, yet still keeping up your soft ministrations and listening to Boba.
Then, before anyone had even noticed anything, you sprung up from Boba’s lap and grabbed your blaster. No one even had the time to question your motives as you fired at the stranger, hitting his hand and making him drop the blaster he had reached for.
He tried to escape but you fired a shot into his foot, making him fall to his knees by the steps to the throne. Within seconds you were by his side, using your foot to keep in on the ground as the people stared in shock. Boba had risen to his feet and Fennec had come closer now.
“Let me go!”
“Tell me why you were raising your blaster at Boba.” You hissed. “Did you think I wouldn’t notice?”
“I won’t tell you anything.”
Your foot moved, resting on his shoulders now. “You are the worst assassin I have ever had the misfortune of meeting!”
The man struggled against your foot but couldn’t get up. “Let me go!”
Huffing at his request you took your foot off his back. He quickly took the chance to get up but he only got to his knees because you quickly grabbed his arm, twisting it onto his back and then doing the same with the other one. Then you turned him so he could face Boba.
“Did you or did you not come here to assassinate Boba?”
“I-- I was forced to!” The man pleaded. “Please, don’t kill me. I was just-- I was forced to or otherwise, my family would have been in danger!”
“Now there’s the information we can use.” You said and let go of him, nodding at Fennec. “I’m sure Boba would like to question the man himself. Isn’t that right, Cyar’ika?”
Boba looked at you, as surprised by the pet name as he was by your quick reflexes but nodding at Fennec nonetheless. “Bring him to the cells. I will see to him later.”
Fennec nodded and quickly took the man away, glancing back to see you walking up to Boba and taking his face into your hands. Everyone watched as you examined him for any injuries before your shoulders dropped in relief when you found he was fine.
“Thank you for your quick thinking, Mesh’la.”
“All I want is for you to be safe, my love.”

That Time of The Year
Genshin Impact - Cyno x Tighnari (N$FW)
Tumblr media
Also on AO3!
Tumblr media
A/N: This ended up being different from what I first planned, but I still the final result. This all started with silly (but not so innocent) conversation between friends so... yeah.
Also, shoutout to Mia (@/ticklygiggles) for listening to my rant about these two and encouraging this fic. It's her fault, btw.
Summary: It's January, that time of the year... do you know what it means? ~
Word count: 4283 words
Warnings: This is a N$FW fic, with clear depictions of nudity and sex. Minors DNI!!!
Tumblr media
Tighnari’s curled his tail around his leg, crossing his arms in front of his chest as he tried to focus on something else. Anything else.
“Nari, are you s-”
“Y-yes- ahem, yes, I’m fine.” Tighnari repeated himself for the tenth time that night. He pressed his eyes shut, taking a deep breath as he tried to stop himself from having any weird ideas over Cyno’s voice. Tighnari looked down to the pot in front of him, trying to distract himself by watching the water boil.
What a miserable state, he thought. He could hear Cyno sighing with concern and his fingers tapping on the table. His fingers?
Now that he thought about it, it reminded him of Cyno’s hands and how they were always gentle and- No! Tighnari shook his head, taking one hand to pinch the bridge of his nose.
Letting Cyno in was a terrible idea, Tighnari told himself inside his mind, biting his thumb in a fruitless attempt to ease the “stress”. No, no, no… it’s fine, yes, totally. He just needed to drink some tea and get some sleep. Yes. just a nice and warm cup of Cyno and- Agh, no!
“Tighnari!”
The fennec opened his eyes wide and perked up his ears as Cyno’s voice finally reached him. Tighnari wasn’t sure for how long he had been daydreaming, but it should’ve been a while based on how troubled Cyno looked. “Sorry, I… ahm, dozed off for a second. You were saying?”
“The… pot, Nari. I think it’s-”
“Oh, right. Ahah…” Tighnari chuckled nervously, picking up the pot and pouring the water to finally brew his so-needed tea. As soon as the boiling water bathed the leaves, Tighnari took a deep breath, inhaling all the sweet scent. Yes, this was definitely going to help him. “If I knew you were coming over, I’d have prepared something else,” Tighnari said, back to his regular tone as he served Cyno a cup of the freshly brewed tea.
“You know there is no need,” the general replied to him, gently taking the cup in his hands before blowing some air to cool it off. “I just decided to check up on you because… you know, we are in that time of the year and you could…”
What was he saying, Tighnari asked himself, unable to keep paying attention to any other word. All he could focus on was how soft Cyno’s lips looked at that moment and how much he wanted to kiss him. With the steaming cup resting in front of him, Tighnari rested his head on his hand with a lost gaze on his eyes. Cyno’s voice was so distant that he could barely hear it, much less make some meaning out of whatever he was saying.
“You are doing it again,” Cyno muttered coldly, shaking his head in disapproval as he sipped from the cup.
When the scolding reached him, Tighnari nearly jumped out of his seat. “W-what? Doing what again? I’m not doing anything!” He protested, sounding as offended as possible.
Cyno blinked a few times with a puzzled look on his face. Tighnari sank his teeth into his lips, he knew he messed up his act this time.
“You’re… staring at me. A way more than a normal amount, if I may add.”
“So? Can’t I look at my partner?” Tighnari hissed, feeling the heat spreading across his face - which he tried to hide behind the cup as he pretended to drink the tea. Cyno chuckled and, archons, how Tighnari liked the sound of that. He could feel a shiver running up his spine, bad enough to make him flinch.
Tighnari watched with great care as Cyno placed his cup down and leaned forward, gazing back at him with half closed eyes. “Nari, you don’t have to… go through it alone. I can help you,” Cyno mumbled softly, reaching for Tighnari’s hands and holding them into his own.
Ugh… this was going to be a lot harder than he first expected it to be. “You don’t need to talk about it as if it is something important.” Tighnari looked down, embarrassed by the way Cyno addressed the matter.
During the beginning of the year, more specifically throughout January and February, the fennec foxes had their mating season: a time to find their partner, have kits and start a family. In Tighnari’s case, as he wasn’t an actual fennec fox, this time of the year just made him more… desperate.
He didn’t remember having trouble dealing with previous mating seasons, it was always something simple and that Tighnari could take care of by himself. But ever since Cyno came into his life, it became harder and harder to get rid of that needy feeling - nothing seemed to be… enough.
“It’s you I’m talking about and you are definitely important to me,” Cyno said, tightening the grip around Tighnari’s hands. Cyno knew very well what he was suggesting, all the pros and cons (was there any?) of his offer.
Tighnari averted his gaze, feeling the back of his throat going dry. To accept that was to admit that he was no better than a wild animal, that he couldn’t even fight some raw desires. He was better than that - he had taken care of it before and he knew he could do it again. He just… needed to find something else - of course, other than Cyno - to get himself going.
“I…” Tighnari started, wanting to play it cool and deny Cyno’s offer, but a part of him desperately wanted - craved - that offer. Tighnari could feel his tail wagging slightly at the idea of having sex with Cyno and he hated it.
He hated it because they already had sex before. Normal sex, sex that people that are not in heat have with their partners. Normal, regular sex and surely not what Tighnari’s body was craving right now.
To think about it, when was the last time they had it? There should be no harm in getting laid right now. Collei wasn’t home, Cyno seemed to be in the mood and-
Tighnari, no!
The forest guardian pulled his hands away from Cyno’s, covering his eyes and shaking his head. What kind of thoughts were those? That wasn’t like him at all! “S-sorry, I don’t think that’s a good idea, Cyno.”
Tighnari hurriedly picked up the cups - not even worrying to check if Cyno finished his tea or not - and took the sink with the rest of the dishes. If he had an act going on, it was surely a goner now.
“I-it’s different, Cyno, I will-”
“What will you do, my desert flower?” Cyno whispered, gently pressing his lips on the back of Tighnari’s ear as he hugged the forest watcher from behind. The sound that left Tighnari’s mouth could only be described as a shriek - a really loud one. Tighnari was so absorbed into his horny ideas that he didn’t notice when Cyno got so close to him. Tighnari pressed his fingers into the furniture in front of him, hard enough that would make those wooden pieces scream in pain if they could talk.
“I expected you to know me better,” Cyno continued, making Tighnari bit his inner lip as he tried to hold himself back from letting out any other embarrassing noise. One of Cyno’s hands traveled up to Tighnari’s chest, while the other gently rubbed circles of his stomach. “If I’m troubling you… just say the word and I will be miles away. Do you want me to go away, Nari?”
“N-no, I… I don’t…” Tighnari’s breath hitched, his hands trembling and butterflies swirling inside his stomach. His tail shyly wrapped itself around Cyno’s leg - almost as if to ask him to not go away. “But it’s different, Cyno. I would just use and-”
“Pfft…”
Tighnari stopped at the sound of Cyno’s chuckles - those low, composed and deep noises that made a shiver run up his spine. Tighnari gritted his teeth, slightly lowering his head in embarrassment as he felt himself getting hard at that sound. “D-don’t laugh, you don’t know how hard it is!”
“My desert flower, if you wanted to scare me…” Cyno mused, reaching for Tighnari’s waist before turning him around to, finally, be able to look him in the eyes. “You shouldn’t threaten me with a good time.”
“You- ugh…” Tighnari scrunched up his shoulders, placing both his hands at Cyno’s chest, ready to push the general away, to shove him out of his way.
But he didn’t.
His body refused to do so.
“Let me aid you, Nari. Please,” Cyno said, holding one of Tighnari’s wrists and lifting his hand high enough for him to be able to plant a kiss against Tighnari’s palm, “just this once, use me.”
“Use me.” Those words made Tighnari’s heart beat as fast as if it was about to explode out of his chest. He opened his mouth to speak, but his words wouldn’t come out. It was like his mind went blank, completely wiped of any coherent thought.
“I will take as a yes, Nari,” Cyno grinned against the skin of Tighnari’s palm, pulling out his tongue to lick it from the middle to the spot between Tighnari’s middle and ring finger - a feeling that made Tighnari’s dick throb inside his pants, not to mention the lewd sight and the double meaning behind the act.
Tighnari leaned back slightly against the counter behind him, allowing Cyno to shorten the already small distance between their bodies. The forest watcher sighed - pleased, really pleased - when he felt Cyno’s lips against his neck. The fur of his tail stood on its ends as chills ran down straight to his loins, even making his knees shake slightly.
“C-Cyno, that- hmph… t-that tickles…” Tighnari pressed his eyes shut, the corner of his lips curling up slightly. Despite his protests, Cyno continued to play and tease Tighnari, taking small portions of that sensitive skin between his lips and marking it with his teeth or just sucking it to leave hiccups that had a deep, dark shade of red. “A-ah!”
“You dislike it when it tickles, Nari?” Cyno grinned, wrapping one arm around TIghnari’s back and making him press his body against his. His other hand, in the meanwhile, continued to travel down, meeting the base of Tighnari’s tail. “Should I stop?”
“Agh-ah… no, d-don’t stop it…”
“Even if it tickles?” Cyno smiled sweetly, using his fingers to gently massage that sweet spot, rubbing circles over the base of TIghnari’s spine, just above his tail.
“Eheven if… if it t-tickles,” Tighnari stuttered over his own words, a mess of moans, giggles and sighs coming out of his mouth. He dropped his head back while his arms rested around Cyno’s shoulders. Archons, that felt good.
Tighnari didn’t know what he should focus on: the kissing on his neck, the arm wrapped around his back or the fingers fiddling with his tail. Cyno definitely knew what he was doing and all Tighnari was able to do was to open his mouth and moan.
“You’re so pretty, Nari,” Cyno said, caressing Tighnari’s tail one last time before moving his hand down, sneaking it inside the back of Tighnari’s pants and firmly gripping his ass. “Let’s go to the room and- hmph! Hnngh…”
Before Cyno could finish, Tighnari grabbed him by the little clothing he had on top of his chest and pulled him closer, pressing one kiss after the other. Tighnari’s tongue invaded Cyno’s mouth, almost as if to forbid him from moving his head away. His mind was in a haze, the only thing occupying the room that once belonged to his thoughts was Cyno. His voice, his taste, his scent, his body, his everything.
After seconds that felt like eternity, Cyno managed to break their kiss. A strand of saliva still connected their mouths as both men wheezed, gasping for air. Cyno felt like he would’ve passed out from the lack of oxygen if that kissing any longer, but the hunger in Tighnari’s eyes showed him that just those seconds weren’t enough for him.
“No…” Tighnari gasped, still clinging onto Cyno’s clothes, “I want it now… let’s do it here.” He looked up, studying Cyno’s reactions to his commands and was pleasantly surprised when the man in front of him smiled, simply nodding to his request.
“Whatever you say, Nari,” Cyno continued to use one hand to keep fondling Tighnari's asscheek, squeezing it and even teasing the rim of his asshole by caressing it with two of his fingers. His other hand - with a bit of Tighnari’s help - worked to strip the forest watcher, railing up Tighnari’s shirt all the way up to his neck, from where the fennec fox himself pulled it out and tossed it aside.
Tighnari’s skin was smooth - even more than usual. His whole body felt like it was on fire and a beautiful faint shade of pink adorned his skin. Cyno couldn’t help but to notice that Tighnari’s smell was also a little sweeter - were all those effects of the mating season?
“W-what are you waiting for?” Tighnari’s desperate, needy voice broke into Cyno’s things. By the way he huffed, Cyno could tell he was growing impatient. How cute.
“Apologies, my desert flower, I just took a moment to admire how mesmerizing you are tonight…” Cyno mumbled softly, slowly pushing two fingers inside Tighnari’s ass, making his partner moan sweetly as he gently rubbed the fleshy walls that promptly squeezed his fingers.
Tighnari tightened the grip on Cyno’s clothes, his nails nearly piercing the cloth as pleasure started to run across his body. Cyno moved his hands, pulling his fingers a couple of inches back before pushing them inside again, going all the way until he could press and stimulate Tighnari’s prostate in a way that made him sob in pleasure. “A-ahh, more… C-Cyno, t-that’s not enough…”
“I know, Nari, but I’ll hurt you if we go too fast… Try to relax…” Cyno instructed, whispering those words straight into Tighnari’s ear, his lips gently blowing the air against the sensitive skin. However, despite his partner’s worries, all Tighnari could feel was the burning sensation on his lower body, desperately craving for more. “I told you, use me, Nari.”
Cyno chuckled sweetly as he placed his leg between Tighnari’s, pressing his thigh against his partner’s crotch and making a sharp gasp escape his lips. Tighnari promptly moved his hips, grinding against Cyno’s leg. That, combined with the fingers pressing on his behind, made Tighnari’s dick leak even more. He would hump his hips forward to get more of that sweet friction and on the moment he moved them back, Cyno would press his fingers inside TIghnari’s ass, stimulating the forest watcher from all sides.
“H-hng… but I-I want you…” Tighnari cried, feeling drool sliding from the corner of his lips as he savored that raw pleasure. Still, it was not enough. Even if it drew him closer to an orgasm, he knew it wouldn’t do the work to ease his needs.
“Of course, of course…” Cyno hummed, pulling his fingers out and reaching for the waistband of Tighnari’s pants, lowering them along with his underwear. “Then allow me, Nari…”
“Just… h-hurry, you big lummox…” Tighnari hissed, using all the last bits of self-control left in his body to stop moving, allowing Cyno to remove the rest of his clothes.
Taking a step back, the general Mahamatra dared to ‘waste’ a few seconds admiring this side of his partner he didn’t have the chance to meet before. Tighnari was a mess, but a hot one. Disheveled hair, skin covered in a beautiful shade of pink and gleaming with a thin layer of sweat and precum dripping for the tip of length. Archons, what a man, Cyno thought.
“I’m the luckiest man in Teyvat, my desert flower,” Cyno teased, starting to strip himself as well, making sure to put up a show to his partner. Tighnari, already too horny to just stand idly and wait, reached for his own cock, slowly stroking himself as he watched Cyno’s clothes come out one by one, using his palm to caress his tip and spread the drops of his seed over the rest of his dick, making it easier for him to stroke faster. “Am I really being this slow… or are you just really impatient?” Cyno grinned, holding Tighnari’s waist with both his hands as he approached his partner again.
“C-come do it yourself and find out, general,” Tighnari mumbled, his voice already a little hoarse.
“Was that a request or one of your smart answers, my desert flower?”
Tighnari sighed, lifting his right leg and wrapping it against Cyno’s now bare waist. The forest watcher placed his palms on the pecks of Cyno’s chest and rubbed his gently, moving his hands up to his shoulders and then intertwining his fingers behind Cyno’s neck. “I don’t know… maybe both.”
For a couple of seconds, silence engulfed them both. Cyno and Tighnari stared each other into their eyes, knowing very well they didn’t need words to understand each other at that moment.
With his hard cock already resting between Tighnari’s asscheeks, Cyno leaned forward and kissed the other man. The wet, sloppy sounds of the lips beginning to fill the room that was once quiet.
They kissed again, again and again, both men gasping deeply for air in the short moments of break, trying to not let their lungs run out of air. Tighnari wasn’t sure if it was the levels of oxygen on his brain going low or if it was another one of those stupid mating season’s effects, but the forest watcher found himself caught in a daze.
Tighnari’s dick continued to leak, his seed dirting Cyno’s body as they continued to make out. And, at last, Cyno skifully moved his hips, finally thrusting his dick inside Tighnari’s ass, making both men moan loudly into their kiss. Cyno pressed his eyes shut, not able to hold himself in place anymore and lowered his head, hurriedly trying to fill his lungs with air. Tighnari’s insides squeezed his length like they never did, catching the general by surprise.
“A-agh, N-Nari..! R-relax a bit… I can’t move l-like this…” Cyno whimpered, burying his face in the crook of Tighnari’s neck, licking over his collarbone before pressing his teeth into the soft, smooth skin.
But as Tighnari didn’t get the stimulation he so desperately craved for in the following seconds - which Cyno tried to use to grow accustomed - the forest watcher decided to take the matter into his own hands. Using his leg around Cyno’s waist to keep the general close to him, Tighnari began to swing his hips, pulling his body slightly up before letting it go down, allowing Cyno to push his hard dick all the way inside.
Finally, after days of daydreaming, Tighnari felt Cyno’s dick thrusting his ass, pressing his prostate as it moved in and out of his eyes. And, for the first time, Tighnari didn’t dislike being in heat: having give in to his raw desires made sex few better than it ever did. “A-ahh! Cyno, h-harder, hnngh!” TIghnari moaned, moving one of his hands to hug Cyno’s hang, pressing it against his neck while the other held on Cyno’s shoulder for Tighnari’s dear life.
Despite being a hot, moaning mess himself, Cyno still smiled. After covering Tighnari’s collarbone with hickeys, Cyno kissed his lover’s jaw. “Keep… calling my name, it’s so hot when you moan it like that, Nari…”
Cyno let go of TIghnari’s waist to move one of his hands before the leg wrapped around his body, hooking Tighnari’s leg to make it easier to fuck his ass. His other hand, in the meanwhile, continued to rest over Tighnari’s hips, helping the forest watcher to move and teasing him with squeezes and pinches that send a delicious ticklish feeling to Tighnari’s brain.
Tighnari threw his head to the side, feeling small droplets of water clinging to the corner of his eyes. Just like he was instructed, Tighnari moaned Cyno’s name one too many times. The combined feeling of lips pressing and playing with neck, fingers tickling and digging into his waist and a dick pounding into his ass was, indeed, an effective method to fight the mating season’s effects.
“A-Archons, ahhh!! ~ I-I’ll kill you if you st- ahn!!” Tighnari choked on his own sounds, unable to finish his words as Cyno seemed determined to actually fuck him senseless.
Yet, knowing Tighnari like no other did, Cyno knew very well what Tighnari was trying to say. The general smiled, kissing the other men’s lips. “You get even hotter when you threaten me, my desert flower.” Letting go off Tighnari’s hip, Cyno used his free hand and tightly wrapped his fingers around Tighnari’s dick, starting to stroke it in sync with his own thrusts.
Using Tighnari’s seed as some sort of lube, Cyno began to move his hand faster and faster, going all the way from the base to tip. As the pumping went on, Tighnari felt his leg going weak, his knee threatening to give in while a burning sensation swirled inside his loins and he knew he was getting close.
“Are you liking it, Nari?” Cyno gasped, his face barely inches away from Tighnari’s. Cyno moved his hand up a bit, giving the tip of Tighnari’s dick a special attention as he rubbed it with his palm, making the forest watcher let out a sharp cry of pleasure. Cyno chuckled, again. “I’ll take it as a yes.”
“H-hnng- just d-don’t- ahh! D-don’t stop!”
“I wasn’t planning to,” Cyno would be lying if he said he didn’t enjoy this needier and hornier side of Tighnari. He would also be lying if he said he wasn’t getting close himself, after all, Tighnari hadn’t stopped moving his hips for a single moment ever since Cyno first thrusted his dick inside his ass.
With thrust after thrust, Cyno continued to work for both men’s orgasm, with his partner clearly being the one that craved it the most. Exchanging looks for merely a couple of seconds - and with it being enough for them to understand each other - Tighnari leaned his head in, pressing his lips against Cyno’s and using both arms to support his body, wrapping them around his partner’s shoulders.
With Tighnari’s body weighing on him, Cyno pressed the forest watcher against the counter and pulled Tighnari’s other leg up from the ground. Groping at Tighnari’s thighs, Cyno now could handle his body as much as he wanted, pounding harder and thrusting deeper into Tighnari’s ass.
“T-this- angh!! C-Cyno!” Tighnari managed to utter in a short moment between his moans, feeling like his body was going to melt into a puddle at any given moment. Archons, he was so, so close! “H-hmph..! M-more, plehease!”
If the general was able to say something, he would be sure to whisper something sweet like ‘as you wish, Nari’ or ‘I’ll give you as much as you want, my desert flower,” but Cyno was too busy groaning and grunting, digging his fingers into Tighnari’s legs and pushing his length all the way inside him.
The oh-so-desired climax was right next to them, they just needed a tiny little push to reach it. Tighnari gritted his teeth, trying his best to not make the claw marks that he left at Cyno’s shoulders any worse.
And, finally, with a loud cry, it happened.
Tighnari tightened his legs around Cyno’s waist, pressing his ass against his partner’s lap as hard as he could as if to make that moment of bliss last as long as possible. A white, creamy and hot stream of seed shot up from his still-hard length, his cum splattering his and Cyno’s midriff while his eyes rolled back. Tighnari felt his whole body tensing, from the tip of his ears all the way down to his curled toes. Cyno had to dedicate some extra strength to hold the fennec in place, unable to help but to notice how the air barely made its way through Tighnari’s throat - a sight that rubbed his ego just right, almost as if patting him in the shoulder and saying ‘good job, Cyno, you did it’.
A strangled moan managed to break through Tighnari’s lips as the forest watcher came down from his high, wrapping his hands around Cyno’s neck as he tried to pull his upper body up. “S-sorry, hngh… I-I couldn’t hold it…” Tighnari whined softly in his embarrassment, feeling the ‘emptiness’ on his insides and quickly figuring out the meaning behind it.
“Hey,” Cyno smiled, resting his forehead against Tighnari’s once the man looked up to him, “I told you I was going to help you, so don’t feel bad for anything, Nari,” he muttered sweetly, gently kissing the tip of Tighnari’s nose.
“But do we… have to stop now?” Tighnari muttered, using the tip of his fingers to draw shapes on Cyno’s nape while his tail wagged mischievously behind his back. “I still…” Tighnari started, holding his lips next to Cyno’s ear as he whispered something.
Cyno gulped, a faint heat spreading across his face while his eyes widened. “Uh… s-sure, I- ahm, I can do that for you, Nari.”
The fennec grinned, slightly bearing his teeth as he tilted his head. “I can’t tell if you are scared or excited, general,” Tighnari teased, leaning in for a kiss.
“A mix of both, my desert flower,” Cyno whispered back with a nervous chuckle and followed the lead, pressing another deep kiss into those lips he loved and cherished with his whole heart.
There was still a long way until the end of February, after all.
