Hello! We're the Harvest system, welcome to our blog/public system journal! 

Our collective name is Harvey (very creative, we know /sarc) you can call us Nico too though! Please use he/they(plural) pronouns on us!

Their least favorite subject in school: There's actually quite a lot of school subjects Pedro despises, but the one he really dislikes the most is Geography.

The name their parents almost picked for them: His parents almost named him Enrique, before eventually deciding on Pedro.

The most famous person born on their birthday: Edward Said (1st November).

If they have mental or physical illnesses. What is it?: He has ADHD and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, which is understandable because that poor boy seeing his padre (father) physically abuse his madre (mother) would definitely be a traumatic experience.

If they are early risers or long sleepers: Since Pedro works the weekends as a barista at The Lima Bean, he is definitely used to getting up early, but he does occasionally love a lie in, if he gets the weekend off or if he doesn't have school the next day.

Their favorite non-video game: Pedro really enjoys a game of Cards Against Humanity, especially when he plays it with Ariel and Belladonna, after a few alcoholic drinks.

Their favorite movie that came out in the last ten years: Deadpool (2016).

If they dabble in illegal substances: Pedro would occasionally smoke cannabis to help him relax (especially when he's with Ariel), but he definitely would dare do it in front of his madre (mother), even though she's probably relaxed about it.

What would they get?: Pedro would definitely get a full sleeve of tattoos featuring rock music lyrics, and some designs of the day of the dead skulls, each dedicated to each loved one who's passed away, including Finn Hudson, who he had an unlikely friendship with in high school, much to Ariel's annoyance. Marcus stood in the doorway for a long moment, just watching him. The room was quiet — too quiet, the kind that seemed to hum with tension, like it was holding its breath.

He could see how small he looked, curled in on himself at the edge of the bed, shoulders drawn tight as if he were trying to disappear. Fingers tugged absently at the sleeves of his jumper, over and over again, like a nervous habit he didn’t even notice anymore. His head was bowed, golden hair falling into his eyes, and there was something about the way he sat — still but trembling faintly — that made Marcus’s chest tighten.

He looked like he was carrying too much. Like something inside him had bent too far and hadn’t quite snapped, but was dangerously close.

The pale gold of his hair caught the slanting light from the window, glowing like fire, and Marcus’s eyes lingered on the freckles that dusted his face — those soft, scattered marks he’d traced a hundred times in the quiet of morning and the hush of night. Today, though, they seemed dulled, dimmed somehow, as though even the light had given up trying to reach him.

Marcus’s hand drifted to the inside pocket of his jacket, where the familiar weight rested. The ring. It had been there for weeks now — tucked away with care, carried across cities, flights, and quiet hotel rooms. It wasn’t planned, not exactly. He hadn’t picked a date or a perfect setting. He just... couldn’t bring himself to leave it behind. It was a promise burning a hole in his pocket, a quiet hope he wasn’t ready to speak aloud. Just in case the right moment came.

But not now.

Not when the person he loved most in the world was unraveling before his eyes.

Marcus crossed the room in slow, measured steps, careful not to startle him. He knelt in front of him, reaching out to gently rest a hand on his knee — a grounding touch, soft and steady. He waited, giving him time to register that he wasn’t alone.

His boyfriend didn’t look at him. His gaze was fixed on the floor, unfocused, jaw tight like he was trying to keep himself from shattering. His breath hitched.

“I’m sorry I’m not enough,” he whispered, voice barely audible. “Not for you. Not for this.”

It was like being punched in the chest.

Marcus didn’t hesitate. “You are,” he said, the words sure and steady, even though his heart ached so fiercely he could hardly breathe. His fingers brushed over his boyfriend’s freckled wrist, grounding them both. “You’re more than enough.”

A sharp shake of the head followed, eyes still turned away. “You could have anyone, Marcus.”

“I don’t want anyone else,” Marcus said gently, but firmly. “I want you.”

He shifted closer, bringing a hand up to cup his boyfriend’s cheek. The skin beneath his palm was cool and fragile, and Marcus’s thumb swept across it with aching tenderness. “I wish you could see what I see when I look at you. I wish you could feel it.”

The words came low, raw, thick with love and the helpless ache of wanting to fix what couldn’t be fixed with just words.

He didn’t mention the ring. Didn’t speak of how he carried it every day, how his fingers had brushed against the box just minutes earlier, how he’d imagined slipping it onto that pale hand and seeing the light return to those eyes. Not today. Not when he could feel how fragile his boyfriend was, like glass stretched too thin.

This wasn’t the moment to ask for forever.

This was the moment to remind him that he didn’t have to earn love to be loved.

So Marcus leaned in, pressing their foreheads together, closing his eyes as he breathed in the scent of his shampoo and the quiet, tremulous way he was still holding on. He wrapped his arms around him, pulled him close until there was no space left between them — until every beat of his heart said I’m here. I’m here. I’m here.

“I’m not going anywhere,” Marcus murmured. “You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be you. That’s who I love.”

He felt the tension in his boyfriend’s shoulders begin to loosen, just a little. The breathing grew steadier. Still quiet. Still uncertain. But steadier.

So Marcus stayed, holding him through the storm, one hand gently stroking the back of his neck, the other curled protectively around his waist.

And somewhere, deep in his pocket, the ring waited.

Not as proof.

Just as a promise.

One he’d give when the time was right.

When the light came back.

I'm not really sure about what you mean by that, but if you're talking about the emoji I put after each character's name, it is indeed intentional and there are interesting reason for it! (at least I think it's interesting lol)

It's gonna be unnecessarily long so read down below if you happen to be interested with this one! (for some reasons)

I'm used to indulge to my fantasy via X (Twitter) a lot, especially since there are many Character X Reader fanarts created by JP's artists being posted on twitter. But in japanese fandom's twitter culture, there are many unspoken rules as to how to tag/title your work for the sake of decluttering/censoring/gatekeeping (idk how to best phrase that lol) and it is especially important to learn it if you want your work to reach to their demographics as well.

As for emojis, many people often used the unofficial fandom's designated emojis to tag their work/tweet/ instead of typing the actual name of the character, this is so they'll not clutter the hastag itself with their artworks/fic. Especially since sometimes there are character with similar names to one character in another fandom / the character's name itself is similar with a certain slang/noun/place.

The best example for this is Epidem from Mashle, since if you put the katakana of his name on twitter search engine you will be directed to a news/threads/tweets that is talking about 'epidemic'. It will be troublesome if someone who doesn't know anything about Mashle ended up finding random fanart about Epidem when they tried to find news related to 'epidemic', right? that's why tagging it with the designated emoji/term for that character will be more preferrable in this case.

If you want to know the designated emoji for each character in Mashle, here are the list of some that I've known;

That is the reason I put certain emoji for certain character. It's just because I often do that when I talk to other ppl about Mashle & I thought it would be nice to apply that to my writing!

Cucurucho tucked it's face into Pato's neck. They didn't need sleep, but they still did anyways. In a bed made for it, Pato had crawled in earlier, and now here they both were.

Cucurucho listened to Pato's mechanics, the near-silent whir of gears and technological marvels that were near-impossible to comprehend unless you worked at the Federation or you were made of it.

Pato was breathing. This was it's breath, and Cucurucho was intent on listening. It could put off "sleep" for a little while longer.

Auf dem Wasser ist die Welt in Ordnung... Tag 38

Das Wochenende hat bei uns allen Spuren hinterlassen. 😜

Troy hat sich wieder zum Bootbauen verabschiedet, ich konnte es kaum über mich bringen aufzustehen, Antje war happy, um neun alle Kinder in der Schule zu haben und Ronny war froh, wenn keiner etwas von ihm wollte.

Plötzlich stand Troy wieder in der Tür. Wir schauen ihn verwundert an. "Oach neey, guckst mal an den Himmel, hab ich koine Lust für Arbeit, wir gehen Fischen 🎣 yeah, was sagst ihr?!"

Klar, sind wir alle sofort dabei!🛥️☀️

Wir fahren gut 10 Kilometer raus aufs Meer und können wieder Wale ganz aus der Nähe beobachten.

Dann werfen wir die Angeln 🎣 aus (... und hoffen natürlich wieder auf einen Hai 🦈🙊)

Es dauert gar nicht lange, da zappelt es bei Ronny am Haken. Er scheint ein Naturtalent zu sein. 😅

Ein King George Whiting... Laut Antje, der leckerste Fisch Australiens. Sie ist ganz aus dem Häuschen.

Da wir aber nicht alle neun von dem einen Fisch sattwerden, versuchen wir es weiter.

Dann spielt mein Magen wieder verrückt. Ich versuche, die Übelkeit zu unterdrücken, aber keine Chance, wir müssen Fahrt aufnehmen, ehe es mich ganz umhaut. Schade!!

Wir fahren näher an den Strand heran und versuchen unser Glück erneut. Fehlanzeige. 😐 Aber immerhin geht es mir wieder gut, so dass ich unbedingt nochmal hinaus will. Dritter Versuch.

Gerade als ich schon Bisse an meiner Angel spüre, fällt Antje ein, dass sie den Kindern keinen Haustürschlüssel gegeben hat.

Ich sage nur: "Du glaubst doch nicht wirklich, dass bei dir alle Türen verschlossen sind?! 😂😂😂"

Antje ist unruhig. Gegen halb drei packen wir ein und fahren zurück. Es bleibt bei dem einen Fisch für heute.

Aber der Tag war super entspannend!

Halb vier kommen wir zuhause an 🏡. Die Kinder sind noch keine fünf Minuten aus der Schule heim... und selbstverständlich stand eine Tür offen. 😅😜

Finn filetiert mit Troy zusammen King George.

Gerade einmal zwei Filets kommen zusammen.

Troy meint: "Oach, kommt, da schießen wir uns noch ein Känguru."

Alle Kinder brüllen: "Jaaaaa, Känguru schießen!"

Damit war der weitere Tagesablauf klar.

Und wieder war es Ronny. Ein Schuss, ein Treffer.

Troy weidet es gleich vor Ort aus und nimmt nur mit, was man braucht.

Jetzt hängt das halbe Tier mitten in der Garage und blutet aus. Morgen früh will Troy das Fell abziehen und die Fleischstücken schneiden. Also eigentlich will er, dass ich das mache. Früh. Um 6. Ich. 😂😂😂😱😌🙈
