Curious MK 💛 and the Man In The Red Scarf 🧣
This au is everything to me… be ready for me to not shut up about it.
If you want a little explanation on the au look under the cut
The au pretty much follows the beats of the movie with some twists to fit the world of LMK a bit better
Tang works at his College’s museum, doing tours on a lot of historical exhibits which heavily align with his special interests (lots of JTTW like stuff)
Pigsy is the local school teacher that takes his class to the museum every week- to learn obviously. Not cause he has a big crush on this pathetic museum nerd.
Anyway the museum is loosing interest and funding you know the gist, Tang somehow agrees to go on an expedition to flower fruit mountain to maybe find something worth putting on display. Probably something related to Sun Wukong
Tang is out of his element, but also this is his hyperfixation and he can tooootally find something of note surely. However what he doesn’t know is that a few certain spider henchmen in disguise have made their way onto his expedition crew and are hoping to find something powerful to bring back to their queen.
Once they get there they do a lot of fruitless searching, set up camp for the day, and an exhausted Tang is quickly ambushed by a newly awakened baby Monkey MK. He’s very curious about the bright color of Tang’s scarf and steals it when Tang takes it off to eat.
Tang has never seen or heard of this type of monkey on the mountain before, thinking he resembles Sun Wukong but thinking it ridiculous to think more of it. They play for a bit, Tang playfully wagering for his scarf back.
Anyway the expedition continues and they’re still unable to find anything and have to leave empty handed, (except for two pieces of a little monkey shaped rock.)
Mk ends up with Tang’s scarf as he’s leaving, deciding to secretly follow them back. Wholesome shenanigans ensue just like in the movie. Tang struggles being a dad to this monkey who’s attached himself to him, while also learning he might not really be normal monkey. Add in some Monkey power shenanigans hehe. Also some spider henchmen repeatedly trying and failing to capture Mk (comedically managing to also go unnoticed every time)
Of course in the climax, Tang is pretty worn down. He’s homeless, jobless, and a disappointment. He doesn’t think he can handle taking care of MK, and that’s when Sun Wukong shows up. He’s been keeping an eye on them and knows MK has mystic powers that are probably too much for a human to handle- so he’s willing to take him off Tang’s hands.
Tang reluctantly agrees, much to MK’s confusion and sadness. Trying to reach and grab onto him repeatedly as Tang holds back tears and begs Wukong to take him. Wukong does and Mk, who’s been struggling with any speech up to this point finally manages a soft and scratchy “no” just as Wukong’s cloud zips away with them both.
Tang immediately regrets it, his regret fueled after he talks with Pigsy. He made a mistake and he needs his kid back.
Unfortunately, The Spider Queen and co managed to ambush Wukong similar to the show and capture baby MK. Cue Tang, Pigsy, and Sandy teaming up to rescue the monkeys
Rescue ensues, Tang and Mk reunite wholesomely, Wukong is impressed by Tangs determination to save the kid despite his mortality. Wukong gives him some cool treasure junk that they can take back to the museum
The day is saved, Tang and MK are a family, and Tang finally got Pigsy’s flirting through his dense head lmaooooo
Dad Tang and Baby MK are so special to me… thank you for reading haha. Itll probably be fleshed out more in the future as well

traffic light trio romantic headcanons!! (gender neutral reader)
Tumblr media
Red Son
tsundere 100%
his primary ways of showing affection are gifts and words of affirmation. he’ll make inventions tailored specifically to your personality and needs, give you extravagant gifts like jewels and other fancy items
watching him work and listening to him infodump <33
he often uses poetic, fancy words, and when he praises you, its over the top (because hes red son, of course he’ll go above and beyond)
this man gets jealous VERY EASILY. Someone so much as looks in your direction? BOOM. DEAD.
he probably gets easily flustered too. cause like… look at him.
if you two get married, regardless of gender you would be the one to propose
has the more ‘submissive’ role of the relationship (i.e: you’re the one who courts him, you open the door for him etc)
im sorry simps but man is a BOTTOM (not sexually in this case LOL)
calls you darling, beloved, my love, and dear/dearest
fancy lil fella <33 probably wanted to take you out on an extravagant and amazing first date but flubbed the whole thing (you still love him)
you probably call him your wife 💀
Mei
ADHD GF YEAHHHHHH
she probably shows you off to everyone she knows (including her followers)
”I LOVE THIS PERSON MORE THAN MY DAMN PARENTS” (she does..)
unlike Red Son, who’s relationship would have more romantic yaoi energy, Mei and you would have a more exciting, lively relationship
“hey mei where are we going” “idk” “have you been down this road” “no” “…lets see where it leads” “okay”
you’d react to fanart of you two together <33
she’s probably a tease, but not a flirt
she’ll be walking in a store and see something that reminds her of you constantly; she always thinks of you <3
the first to confess
wore a suit to your first date, bc SLAY WOMEN IN SUITS
you two drive around on her bike
probably doesnt use pet names.. she finds your name beautiful already
MK
OKAY THIS MAN IS SO FAILWIFE
LIKE.. HE TRIES TO OPEN THE DOOR FOR YOU, BUT IT SLAMS IN YOUR FACE
calls you sunshine. seriously calling you sunshine to MK is sun wukong to calling you peaches
stutters a LOT when talking to you/around you
this man is clingy as hell. he will get sad when you have to leave to work or get out of bed like.. THIS MAN NEEDS AFFECTION AND HE NEEDS IT NOW
protective dad pigsy is real, and MK is completely oblivious to it bc goober
i hc that he has inattentive adhd, so when he zones out you snap him out of it with a kiss
in his monkey form he PURRS
cries when he stubs your toe on accident
loves wearing your clothes, especially jackets and t shirts
compliment him and he goes crazy.
like.. “oh mk you look good today” or “hey sunshine”
BLOODY NOSE ON THE FLOOR DYING.
he is very easily flustered, but is less ‘angry wet cat’ about it than Red Son
more like “ueueuueueueu”
cheesy pick up lines!!
This is my first time writing x readers, so if yall could gimme some tips or requests, that’ll be cool :3

Recently I've been seeing a lot of Sun Wukong and reader / OC with baby monkeys stuff, and I am just living for it. ( @journey-to-the-au's #Fruit Troup and @semisolidmind's #Royal Children especially) Something about baby monkeys rattled around in my little brain long enough that I had to bang out this drabble. Its my first ever x reader story, and its just slightly nsfw so beware!
Cuddle Break
Synopsis: Your reaction to snuggling a baby monkey has quite an effect on Sun Wukong
Warning / Triggers: Slight NSFW - mention of an erection and implied adult situations
For several days now the group had been traveling through a dense jungle. You had stopped for a break on the side of the road to eat some lunch and rest your weary feet. Although it was a little humid, it felt pleasantly cool beneath the shade of the jungle canopy. You would have liked to take a quick nap, but Tang was anxious as ever to get moving again.
“YN, would you mind finding Wukong?” the monk asked. He smiled apologetically, as if he knew he was sending you into the lion’s den.
Almost since the day you’d joined the group, the demon monkey had begun teasing and flirting with you. You did your best to laugh off his advances, thinking he was probably just messing with you, but lately Wukong was getting so provocative that Tang was forced to use the headache spell a few times just to get him to give you some space. You were starting to consider that maybe Wukong really was into you, which wouldn’t have been a problem if you didn’t find him so damn attractive too!
As usual Wukong had gone off on his own to scout out the surroundings as soon as the group had settled down. Normally Pigsy would have been asked to go find the monkey, but he had eaten so much lunch that he’d zonked out hard enough that even Sandy was struggling to wake him up. There was nothing to be done about it, so you set off in the direction you had seen Wukong go earlier, hoping he hadn’t gone too far.
It wasn’t much trouble to find a little footpath that meandered through the jungle underbrush. You tracked it for a while, occasionally calling out the demon monkey’s name. Eventually you came to a wide, slow running creek, and trusting the intuition that had served you so well on the journey so far decided to follow it upstream. It wasn’t too long before you caught a familiar chirping, chattering sound. You had heard Wukong occasionally making those noises, but this time they sounded surprisingly soft.
“Wukong!” you called as you got closer, “Tang wants to get going…!”
It wasn’t long before you spotted him and understood why the noises were so unusually gentle.
Sun Wukong was perched on a thick branch hanging low over the creek, surrounded by a troop of infant monkeys. It was the little ones that were chirping and giggling as they climbed on him like a living jungle gym. He seemed to be enjoying it, indulging the little ones with the softest smile you had ever seen on his face. And the babies were so cute! Little fluffy beans with their little tails and itty-bitty noses!
“❤️Oooh my gooooosh!!❤️❤️” You gushed before you could stop yourself.
The Monkey King and his tiny subjects looked at you in surprise, only just noticing your presence. The babies looked a little nervous, but Wukong’s grin only got bigger as you approached. You were glad to see that the little ones trusted Wukong enough that they didn’t run away, even when you pulled yourself up on the branch to sit beside him.
“They’re so adorable, Wukong! Do… Do you think I could hold one?”
Wukong had never seen you so enamored before, it was adorable! “Sure,” he chuckled, “Just be careful. They got a strong grip.” He lifted one of the little ones off his knee, making reassuring noises as he handed him over to your waiting arms.
The baby was clearly a bit frightened of you, staring at your face with wide, darting eyes. “It’s okay sweetie,” you cooed to reassure him, stroking his head and back. “Don’t be scared.” To your delight the infant started to purr, and snuggled against you as you cradled him against your chest. You were so besotted with affection for the little guy that you didn’t even notice the intense way Wukong was staring at you.
It wasn’t until he’d handed the child over that Wukong realized the little one had fur that was remarkably like the color of your hair. Watching you snuggle and coo at the infant made him think of you doing the same with his offspring. Just imagining you getting you pregnant with his heirs drove him wild. If it weren’t for the children still clinging to him, he would have pounced on you right there.
What was worse, he was a little jealous of the little one! What he wouldn’t give to have you hold him and stroke his fur like that! That look of sweet and tender adoration in your eyes should have been for him!
Oblivious to the immortal demon’s internal struggle (and the bulge in his pants) you continued to soothe the baby monkey in your arms. The little guy was practically melting as you pet his soft fur. Then two more of the little ones abandoned Wukong to crawl into your lap, eager for their turn at cuddles. You scooped them up happily, pressing kisses to their foreheads. “Aww! Mama’s sweet babies! ❤️”
Wukong grit his teeth to stifle a groan. The jolt of arousal that went through him was so violent his hand shot up and snapped the branch above him like a twig. The baby monkeys that were still sitting on him were startled enough to scatter further up the tree.
You gave him a puzzled look, holding the little ones in your lap a bit protectively. “Something wrong, Wukong?”
“I’m fine,” he answered, jumping down from the branch. He sounded a bit more terse than usual. Obviously he wasn’t fine, but he wasn’t going to tell you about it. “You said Master wanted to get going. We should head back now.”
You sighed, glancing down at the baby monkeys curled in your lap. They had been startled by Wukong crushing the branch but had hunkered down rather than run away. “Aw, can’t we stay just a little longer?”
"C'mon, YN, let's go." Wukong shook his head, shooing the little ones with a few soft hoots. They reluctantly crawled out of your lap, and you pouted as you let them go. Then he reached up, grabbing your waist to lift you down off the branch. You accepted the surprisingly chivalrous gesture, even putting your hands on his strong shoulders to steady yourself. But once your feet were on the ground, he didn’t let go.
You felt your face heat up with a blush as Wukong stepped into your space, his grip on your waist keeping you from escaping when his chest pressed flush against yours. You could feel his warm breath on your ear as he leaned in and growled suggestively, “You know, I could give you a few of your own if you wanted…”
“Wukong!!” The insufferable demon laughed as you pounded your fist on his chest in protest. But at least he let you step back, and you took a deep breath to try calming your racing heart. And racing hormones!
Against your better judgement, you let him carry you back to the others on his cloud. You tried to ignore his tail curled around your middle, somehow convincing yourself that it was only to keep you steady.
Wukong could tell under all that flustered embarrassment you were turned on. He could smell it on you, and it made him grin victoriously. It wouldn’t be long now before he’d finally have you. He might have even been able to convince you to let him have his way right there in the jungle, but he knew there wasn’t enough time to really enjoy himself. If the monk had sent you to look for him, it wouldn’t be long before he sent Pigsy or Sandy to look for you. He could wait a little longer. You were worth it flexing a little patience, and no matter what, in the end you’d be his.
And in the meantime, seeing you snuggle the baby monkeys gave him a sneaky idea for how to get some of that attention for himself…

Fem Humanoid King Kong Y/N Part 2?
Wukongs Brothers. Sisters, friends, and enemies meet King Kong Y/N?
Lol how would they react to this strong, giant, female King Kong, AKA Queen of The Apes
Like Wukong just brings his brothers, sisters, friends, and enemies to an island and their waiting for her, when a GIANT TALL ASS KONG appears and they are all freaking out except for Wukong who just yells out "WIFEEEEEEEE 😍🥰" and just transforms into a the same size as her and hugs her. Everyone is happy for him or is traumatised. (Tho I can see the adoptive children of the Wukongs like her).
Thanks!~ ❤️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(LMK Wukong) He was pulling Mk and the gang to an island 🏝 place. He was so excited that he's actively chirping in joy. MK, Macaque and the others were confused and suspicious of him.
Mk: Umm Monkey king where are we going??
Wukong: we going to skull island 🏝😊
The others were confused and slightly scared
Tang: Um why???
Wukong: well duh to meet my wife
Everybody jaws dropped hearing the news. Wukong was married and he never heard shared the news with them. Then again he has many other secrets but this one, is something they didn't expect him to hide.
Just like how they didn't expect his wife to be a giant gorilla and for her to be THE LEGENDARY QUEEN KONG!!!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩
Mk and Mei were Fangirling and Fanboying all over the place, Redson looked pale as he called his parents Wondering if they knew about this, Tang was speechless, Sandy waved a you as a greeting, and Macaque....Uh he looks like died all over to again.
Pigsy: (Sigh) Why does this make so much sense???😒😤🤦‍♂️
Tumblr media
(Mk Reborn Wukong) The monk was curious about where he sneaks off to when he's on his free time. Sandy was to scared to ask and Pigsy thought it was something shady. So he went to quietly follow Wukong and Fruity one day and what he found shocked the hell put of him.
Pigsy: Master I found what the monkey was hiding!!!!😱
Master Tang: Oh and what is it🤨
Pigsy: um well you It might wanna come and see for yourself.Because you're not gonna believe me if I told you😧
The monk was confused but not deterred, because the next day the pilgrims secretly followed Wukong and Fruity. To their usual spot and behold Wukong had wondered back to the same giant gorilla women that saved them a year ago and the most shocking part.
Wukong showering you with affection and care while fruity flew around your head calling you mama.
So the monk fainted, sandy was pale as snow, and pigsy bit into a tree branch seething in jealousy😵😱🤬
Tumblr media
(NR Wukong) Li and Su were at a standstill as they looked at a Tall giant gorilla that sat behind Wukong.
Wukong: Li, Su I want you to meet my wifey (Y/n L/N) or well Yn Ln Wukong now🥰
Li's jaw dropped as his brains were buffering trying to wrap his head around the whole situation. While Su was dumbfounded by who she saw.😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵😵😵
Su: Wukong....... YOUR MARRIED TO QUEEN KONG??!?!?!?!?😲😲😲😱😱😱
Wukong nodded as he cuddled into your giant arm. Meanwhile your wondering why Wukong didn't tell you that he had grown children🤔
Tumblr media
(HIB Wukong) The kids immediately loved you already, in fact silly girl was dying to see you again and loves you so much. Wukong was blushing harshly when Silly girl would cry mama for hours because she missed you awfully. Luier loves you too, you seem to be more patient with him and would listen to him talk endlessly as Silly girl would climb on your back like she did the first time. Yes Wukong didn't need to be worried about the kids because they love you as much as you love them. Meanwhile pigsy was scared sh*tless because you snared at him for flirting with you to much.
Tumblr media
(Netflix Wukong) Lin and Dragon king were pulled to skull island by Wukong as a surprise was waiting for them.
Lin: Seriously where are we going??
Dragon king: Yeah what are you trying to show us??
Wukong: Lin, dragon king I want you guys to meet my wife.
Both: wait what???
So Wukong chirps into the forest and waits. Then suddenly, the ground shook as you made your way to your husband. Lin and Dragon King soon saw a giant female gorilla. Wukong got excited and grew into his kaiju form and hugged you tightly. The second Dragon king saw who it was he fainted.
Dragon king:(scared) Queen......Kong😰😨😱😵
Meanwhile Lin sat on your hand as she looked at you in Astonishment.

Hey! I saw your HC’s about the versions of sun wukong’s. May I request “ Journey to the West: Legends of the Monkey King 2000? ” I really loved the show as a kid. I saw it on YouTube again and wondered about it! If..you saw this series that is. If not, I’ll take Netflix monkey king! It’s up to you!
I feel like doing both :p Also I'll be doing general HC because I'm not sure if you meant reader insert or just in general if this were in a fanfiction
Journey to the West: Legends of the Monkey King 2000
This monkey man is the definition of assertive
He sees something he likes? He makes it clear he will have it. There's a demon he wants to beat up? He'll talk about beating them up before actually following through with it. There's a person he wants to get with? He makes his intentions crystal clear to everyone around him without hesitation, heaven forbid you try to stop him, he will not allow it.
Surprisingly optimistic despite everything that has happened. There is nothing that can really bring down his mood once he's in a good one.
That means he's not exactly stable when he's in a rare bad mood. Just...give the guy some space if that happens.
Sometimes he'll accidentally break things or break someone. He just gets excitable and well...
Of course there's lots of apologies that ensue if the worst happens, though he doesn't like admitting he did something wrong.
Out of all the versions of Monkey King, this one is probably the most extroverted and friendly of the bunch. He for sure will make loads of friends if given the chance.
This version also seems to be the most open minded on things. Got something to say? He's all ears. Got something you want him to learn? He'll actually sit and listen (a rarity among Monkey kings)
Despite how loud and assertive he is, sometimes he can also be more quiet and gentle when the situation calls for it. It took some learned behavior from Tang though. But, it's a useful trait to have when you're someone like Monkey king.
Very energetic sometimes. He always needs to be doing something with his hands or going out and fighting stuff.
I'd assume this version is extremely protective of his SO if he has one.
Same can be said for his friends.
Would absolutely do everything he can to cheer someone up if they started crying in front of him. It really hurts to see someone so hurt...
Usually encourages people to be a better version of themselves (except Pigsy, he gave up on that guy)
Netflix Monkey King 2023
Oh boy where do I start?
If Leo the zodiac sign was a person, this would be him.
This guy, ooo- this guy really loves himself, and he makes sure everyone around him knows it too at every given chance.
Very confident in his ability to overcome any challenge or obstacle (he's just the best ain't he?)
Probably takes better care of himself and Stick than his own armor or anything else that's with him.
Would absolutely have a bunch of different shampoos, conditioners, and lotions in modern days. The guy loves to love himself, and look loved too.
Probably a huge flirt when he sees someone he mildly finds interest in. That or he'll just brag about himself to seem more impressive. (He's probably exaggerating)
Loves showing off
Modern version of him would probably be a lot more chilled out after the years, learning to just let things go and not be so impulsive or take things personally. He's still got a lot of work to do when it comes to letting people in though.
He's just afraid of losing people like Lin again you know? Right when he realizes he has a family, he loses them and sits isolated form the world for hundreds of years.
Usually prefers staying away from people, alone with Stick. Being alone as a kid does that to you.
Sometimes seeks out validation and love from crowds of people and fans.
He's a little more patient over the years, but just as chaotic.
Expect lots of malicious compliance from him. And pranks, he enjoys getting a good laugh out of others or just doing it for his own entertainment. (though he can border on just being a jerk)
Sometimes talks to Stick when he's alone, it's usually just him venting about things from the past.
Tends to get anxious when he's alone for too long or if there's a thunderstorm (doesn't need a lot of explaining to understand that).
Will be the sweetest monkey with someone he really likes. It's like he's a completely different person!

(I saw the new prompt list and I couldn't help myself)
Fluff prompt #18 with FreeNoodleshipping please?
I have been looking forward to this prompt since you sent it, it fits perfectly with one of my headcanons (that they knew each other before MK). So much I went overboard... again...
“You come here often?” “Well considering I work here, yes.”
It was that guy again, the... well, he didn’t know exactly what his profession was now that he thought about it. Given his glasses and the fact he was always with a book or two and sometimes paperwork he just kind of assumed he was either a scholar, student, or librarian of some sort. He could have just been a huge unemployed nerd for all he knew, but considering he came into the shop at least 3 times a week that was unlikely unless he had some kind of cash squirrelled away.
His clothes were fancy enough that he wouldn’t put it past the other man, but he also seemed to wear two or three copies of the same outfit (he noticed that one sleeve on one of his tops was starting to fray and he could tell the difference now and he was not going to think too much about why he noticed that) which contradicted that as well. The man was as much of an enigma as he was a regular.
He ordered a different bowl every time, only repeating orders once he had tried everything. At first he simply came in for food and sat in the seat closest to the back of the shop for obvious privacy, but at some point he started to move closer and closer to the counter until he just took a seat at the farthest counter stool every time it was open.
Today the Scholar (he figured that was the most likely answer even if he was wrong) took his seat and ordered without opening a single book. He hadn’t even brought one. Odd. As he ate his noodles he actually seemed to try to eat slower than normal. Also odd.
He ate slow enough that Pigsy noticed that it was at least 20 minutes past when he normally would have had only broth left to sip as he read or wrote. The shop was completely empty aside from the two of them, normal lunch rush gone like normal.
“Sooooo...” For the first time outside of ordering the man spoke to him, looking down at the pig’s shirt instead of his face, smiling awkwardly. “UH...  you... You come here often?”
“Well considering I work here, yes,” Pigsy replied in confusion, raising a brow. “I own the shop, sir.”
The man’s face fell into an expression that could only be read as “kill me now I no longer want to live in this world”, ears and face reddening as an embarrassed flush overtook him. “A-ah... yes. You... you do...”
To be honest it was kind of cute. Pigsy let himself smile and chuckle a bit, shaking his head. “Happens to the best of-” the man picked up his bowl and chugged the rest of the broth, slamming the bowl down and standing. “-us...”
“Thank you very much for the delicious food,” was the flat and overly formal reply that came from the man as he bowed, gaze turned toward the ground even after he straightened back up as he immediately headed out the door. It took Pigsy a moment to react, the man’s bizarre actions surprising him so much, and it took another moment to realize...
“Hey! HEY!” He ran out the front after the man, barely able to catch up to him before he turned a corner. “You didn’t pay for your noodles!”
Freezing, the man buried his face in his hands and groaned loudly, muttering a muffled “I’m so so sorry Mr. Pigsy I- sorry” before he turned to face the noodle shop owner and rifle through his pockets. And rifle through his pockets... and... “Ah... I... seem to have forgotten my wallet...”
Defeated. That’s what the man looked like in one word. Completely and utterly defeated. Like the world’s saddest lost puppy entered into a dog show that somehow knew it landed last place.
Sighing, Pigsy mustered up a softer smile and shook his head. “Hey, guy, I can tell you’re having an off day. How’s about I open up a tab for ya?” It wasn’t something he’d ever really done for anyone before, but this guy had been dinning in his shop almost since the week it opened up. It was the least he could do just this once.
“Really?” He finally turned to Pigsy to look him in the eyes and he could see the flush on his face had deepened even farther. Poor guy must be really embarrassed.
“Yeah, just need your name. Or any name, as long as I can match it to your face.”
“Uh...” The man blinked, finally smiling for the first time since his awkward blunder. “Tang. My name is Tang.”
“Alright, Mr. Tang,” Pigsy laughed, an actual happy laugh. Finally, he had a name for this mystery guy! “You got one tab open. Just remember to fill it next time ya come in.”
“Oh, please, no formalities necessary!” He insisted, shaking his head. “Just Tang is fine!”
“Then just Pigsy is fine for me too,” the shorter man insisted. “No Mr. Pigsy. Now I can see you’re in a rush, don’t let me keep ya.” He turned and waved behind him as he made his way back to his shop. “See ya in a couple days, Tang.”
He could have sworn he heard an odd inhale from the man, but that was probably just the sound of someone else on the street. He looked forward to seeing Tang again, the guy seemed interesting now that he finally got the chance to talk to him. If a bit easily embarrassed.

Yandere! Sun Wukong/Monkey King- Headcanons
Tumblr media
[The animators knew what they were doing.]
☼ Sun Wukong isn't unfamiliar with the concept romance and romantic relationships, he most certainly has been in one but mostly for the purpose of wanting to know what it was like.
He never felt anything strong or genuine until he met you.
☼ Now remember, even though he's obsessed with you— he's still a GOD. Meaning he's seen some incredible things and beings, so catching his attention— let alone interest— would be... difficult.
☼ I would imagine you being a deity like him but also one hell of a fighter, you both either met when you were fighting a powerful demon or just happened to cross paths.
☼ Now, if you do catch his attention and interest— he'll definitely be beside you until he eventually gets bored.
But he doesn't.
☼ Every time he's with you, it's never gets boring, it just gets more interesting and more exciting through every visit.
Hell, he won't even notice how he's caught feelings for you until he catches himself speaking about you to his little monkey friends.
☼ He would believe he's just mistaking his feelings for admiration, until he sees you again.
☼ Every time you spoke, he never wanted you to stop.
Every time you smiled, he never wanted you to stop.
Every time you laughed, he never wanted you to stop
Every time you looked at him, He wished you'd only looked at him.
Every time you came close to him, he wished you'd come closer.
☼ When he comes to the realization that his feelings for you aren't just admiration but genuine love, he'd become obsessed with you.
☼ He would stay by your side almost all day, he would glare and bare his teeth at anyone who seemed like they were even remotely flirting with you.
"Why are they laughing with them?! They're jokes aren't even funny, mines are!"
☼ He'd even follow you home, just to make sure you got home safely. Expect one or two thing to go missing.
"GASP..! [NAME]s PERFUME— they won't see it go missing, right??"
☼ This eventually becomes annoying to you to the point you would hide from him just to get a sense of privacy.
"[NAME]! There you are! Uhm— why are you hiding in a tree?"
"Cause... it's comfy?"
"Huh— got room for one more?"
"…yeah."
☼ Btw, this would be before MK became his successor. If we're talking after? Boy this'll be trouble.
☼ It would be a reason why MK doesn't see the Monkey King often, cause he would be with you.
It’d also explain why he doesn’t see Sun Wukong in battle often as well.
☼ When it comes to confessing to you, he would be shaking to his boots, hopefully there isn't a snake in there.
☼ He'd definitely would be making the scene as romantic as possible in an isolated area where it would just be the two of you, what happens next is what determines your fate.
☼ If you accept his feelings and return them, he'll be over the moon and peppering your face all over with kisses.
He'd stick by you all the time but his possessiveness would be a lot more noticeable, you'd chart it off to be just being in a new relationship.
☼ He'd only trust MK and his friends to be around you, he'd still warn them to not get too close though.
"Heyy Pigsy! You know it'd be GREAT if you'd step six feet away from [Name], like— NOW."
"Okay Kid, that's a little too close, back off."
☼ Not only would he get more possessive, his need for physical affection would be known and become more and more clingy.
"Sun, please let me go...”
"Nooo! Just a little longer, pleasee!"
☼ Overall, nothing would change on your end aside from his clinginess but Sun Wukong would try his damn hardest to not show his obsessiveness to not freak you out.
However, it's a different story when you reject him.
☼ He'd try to convince you that he's fine and everything's just fine, when reality he'll be rolled up on his bed hugging himself with his monkeys friends piled on top of him trying to keep him company.
"Thanks guys, but... it's not the same..."
☼ Eventually, he'd get desperate— he would want you, your touch, your love, everything. Then he'd get the 'bright idea' of kidnapping you.
☼ He would kidnap you while peacefully sleeping and then hold you up in his temple with his little monkey pals guarding you and making sure you don't leave the mountain, like— AT ALL. But hey, some company is better than No company.
☼ But weren't you a god? Couldn't you just fight your way out? Well, here's the problem with that.
Back when Sun Wukong was still young and guarding the monk, Xuanzang, while on his journey to the west in order to drop off some scared scrolls, Sun Wukong was sealed with a spell that gives him a painful ass headache when a prayer is recited from Xuanzang whenever Wukong misbehaved or tried to leave.
He wasn't really excited in joining the quest at first, he tried to leave until the spell was casted on him.
☼ Wukong would definitely find this spell again and place it upon you and every time you tried to leave or fight back, an instant wave of pain would suddenly appear and leave you on the ground screaming for him to stop.
"STOP! STOP IT HURTS!"
"Im sorry love, really, I just— I just want to protect you by keeping you close..."
☼ He'd say it was so he could protect you but that wouldn't be enough to calm the anger residing inside you.
☼ But as far as punishment, that's would be farthest he's go. Sun Wukong is a being with much more powerful capabilities than you due to his experience of fighting powerful demons and enemies for a long time.
☼ His aura becomes very intimidating whenever he becomes upset, but it would be enough to stop you from ignoring him or actually start to listen to him.
"Sunshine, please eat, I worked really hard trying to make this for you..."
"..."
"[Name], eat the damn food."
"...Fine."
☼ He doesn't like scaring you and often feels bad for it so he tries making up for it by spoiling you with expensive gifts and clothing,
You don't even know that you have him wrapped around your pretty little finger.
☼ Can't you just leave when he's not home or on a mission? Then prepare to have a wave of small monkeys dog piling you until you're back inside the temple.
☼ You don't have it in you to hurt them, they're just listening to what Sun Wukong says and doesn't understand what exactly is going on. They would be hurt and confused as to why you were suddenly throwing them off and getting hurt when landing on the hard floor.
"C'mon guys, get off of me, please! I have to go!"
"Whine, whine..."
"Sigh... fine. You're lucky you're so damn cute."
☼ But if the Great Sage does have to bring you along for a mission, best believe he'll tuck you away from the enemies grasp with blankets and pillows to keep you warm.
"Heyy Sun! As much as I want to leave, you sure you don't need any help?"
"NONOITSOKAY! JUST STAY THERE LOVE AND LET ME DO THE REST!!"
☼ Aside from other multiple reasons of your inability to leave, you also choose to stay, not only because deep down you love Sun Wukong but to protect innocent people as well.
☼ There was a time you did successfully escape him but you'd never expect a person, let alone people, to get killed because of your desperate need for freedom.
"SUN, STOP! THAT'S ENOUGH!"
"[NAME]! THANK THE HEAVENS YOURE SAFE!"
☼ He reeked havoc on a nearby village when you escaped, killing anyone in his way. When you revealed yourself, he was just happy to have you back in his arms.
☼ But that day was a reminder of what would happen if you ever escaped again, god, the screams— the blood— it'll never leave your head.
☼ He'd also manipulate you into believing all you need is him, you don't need to fight or work anymore because you'll have him— all you ever need is him.
[I tried to write this in a03 but it wouldn’t save a certain section of what I was writing so I moved here and Wattpad lol :)]

Hello, I am also Hispanic. If it's not too much to ask, I wanted to request Sun Wukong, Macaque, Nezha and Red Son x Female Reader Hispanic (romantic or platonic as you like) Where they meet the reader in a typical dance show. The reader along with other Hispanics dance in the streets of China (dance Tusuy Kusun) representing their country and leave everyone present enchanted. Therefore, when the reader is done, she looks for a place to eat and comes across Pigsy's restaurant, where she meets the Mk.
Yeah ofc!!! HEY I'M SO SORRY BUT I COULD ONLY DO TWO OF THE CHARACTERS BECAUSE I WAS EXTREMLY BUSY
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story Info:
Reader Gender: Female
Characters: Wukong, Macaque
TW/CW: Slight Cursing
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- An Enchanting Dance --
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- Sun Wukong --
Tumblr media
He was passing over the sky with one of his clouds before he heard... music?
He went towards the sound and saw quite a beautiful sight
The music combined with the dancers was so...enchanting.
He quickly shook his head, but soon afterwards he realized the show was done
Soon enough, he caught you out of the corner of his eye
He then followed you down into Pigsy's noodles
He waited outside a bit before turning into a fly and entering
He laid on a wall and watched closely
He found you having a conversation with MK and you two were hitting it off
He blushed a bit when you put your hair down since MK asked if you could dance with your hair down (not as a request but rather as a curious child talking to their mother)
Sun Wukong decided to go outside, turn into normal, and entered the shop
"Hey bud!"
"MONKIE KING!!!"
MK jumped up and hugged him tightly, Wukong laughed and hugged back
Wukong looked over at you, only to see you with an extremely excited face
"OMG! EL MONKIE KING?!"
He then felt another pair of arms around him, he couldn't help himself from blushing just a bit before shaking his head and smiling
"Whose your friend, bud?"
"Oh Monkie Kid, meet Y/N!"
He got on Wukong's shoulders, making you pull away from the hug
"It's amazing to meet you, Mr. Wukong!"
"Well it's a pleasure to meet someone as pretty as you~"
He took your hand gently and kissed the back of it, winking at you as well
You blushed a bit and thanked him <3
-- Macaque --
Tumblr media
He was walking around the alleyways when all of a sudden he heard music
It was extremely...enchanting
He went towards the sound and he saw one of the most beautiful dances he ever saw
He stayed watching it, but noticed the crowd was acting off
No celebrating, no noise, only a bit of applaud at the end of the show
He turned around and saw them all leave, he decided to follow you
You seemed quite...enchanting (bro the amount of times I've said enchanting is hilarious)
He followed you towards Pigsy's, he waited there in the alleyway
When you came out of Pigsy's, you noticed two purple eyes looking at you
You carefully entered the alleyway
"Hello?"
You weren't scared, you knew how to dance and fight pretty well
"Why hello there, hermosa." (little head cannon that Macaque knows spanish)
You blushed and saw a dark, quite handsome, monkey
He held your hand and kissed the back of it
"O-Oh!"
He let go of your hand and chuckled
"So, what's your name Mr. Handsome?" You teased him
"The name's Macaque, well the Six Eared Macaque is my full name."
You thought his name was quite unique
"And what's your name? cause I can't call you beautiful forever. Despite how much I'd like." He flirted
"My name's (Y/N)."
"What a lovely name, for a lovely lady~"
He held out his shoulder like a gentleman
"Mind if I walk you home?"
You wrapped your arm around his
"Why thank you." <3

Here's a spicynoodle prompt:
So have you ever seen this video were a man after surgery is so hopped up on drugs that he doesn't recognize his own wife and immediately starts flirting with them?
Then theirs this absolute look of shock on their face when wife tells them their married🤣
Like: " OMG! Your hot! Are you a model? Wanna go out tonight"?
Wife: "Sweetie, we're already married"
Husband: "Wait, seriously"?!
Wife: "Yup"
Husband: "And you said Yes"?!!
So how would ether MK or Red react to the other acting goofy and flirting with them while under meds ?
(Bonus: Mei is in the background recording, for memories😆)
I already did Red in this, so...
"WHERE IS HE?!"
Long Xiaojiao didn't jump at the yell that echoed through the hall. Although several nurses did. She sent them a "Sorry." as Red stormed up. "Red, he's fine. Pigsy just wanted him to get checked out just in case."
The reason Pigsy wanted Qi Xiaotian checked out at urgent care was due to Xiaotian sustaining a nasty cut from a tiger demon. He had claimed his claws were poisoned, plus the cuts were bigger than what a first aid kit could do. Even if Xiaotian had sped up healing. Xiaojiao had come with him and had made sure to text Red.
And now they were here.
"Well, how is he?!" Red demanded.
"I dunno." Xiaojiao shrugged. Sparks flew off Red's hair and she patted his head. The sparks sputtered to a stop. "They said they would come get us when Xiaotian's done."
"Uh...are you two with Mr. Qi?"
Speak of fate.
"Yes!" Red said before Xiaojiao could say yes. The doctor at least looked calm at having a worried fire demon in his face. In fact, he looked amused. "I'm his partner. Is he alright?! Was it bad?"
"No, no, don't worry. We did have to use painkiller on him, so he didn't feel anything from the poison, but all he needed were a few stitches." The doctor gestured for them to follow. Xiaojiao trailed behind as Red followed the doctor with an intense look.
They were led to a room. The doctor paused before pushing it open. "I must warn you, he's been very chatty. Don't worry, the medicine will wear off." And then the door opened.
"XIAOJIAO!"
A nurse was pulling away from Xiaotian, who had a wide, goofy grin. "Hey, it's my buddy- OMG!" His eyes were locked onto Red. The demon paused, raising a brow. "You're hot!" Wait... Xiaojiao felt a smirk form as she pulled out her phone. Xiaotian paid no mind as Red approached. "Are you a model? Wanna go out tonight?"
Red let out a snort of laughter, his worry seeming to fade. "Noodle Boy, we're already married."
"Wait, seriously?!"
Red nodded, scooping up Xiaotian. "Yup. Been together for two years now."
Xiaojiao burst into laughter at the shocked "And you said yes?!"

Are you willing to do yandere headcannons on Jin and Yin too?? 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Oh, 100% I can do them. I was originally going to add them but I don't have a solid way to write them as of yet so this might be a bit messy or free-formed. I also know some people write these two off in yandere or mafia posts. Give the boys some love, please!
Warnings: Yandere themes, Kidnapping, Forced intimacy, Manipulation, Eating Disorder, Sexual Harassment, Killing, STalking
Characters: Jin, Yin
Pairings: Jin x Reader, Yin x Reader, Jin vs Yin x Reader(Rivals)
Jin/The Golden Demon
He is very likely to see you the first time while spying on MK. You would have to be either at or close to Pigsy's Noodles. He finds you very pretty and jokes you could be a trophy among his many golden things.
Jin is very likely to kidnap you either after months of stalking or a week of actually talking to you. He builds this idea up in his head you would make a great Trophy.
He is very possessive of you and does treat you very well(like royalty) but he feels guilty for kidnapping you. By himself, he is more likely to release you, unlike the other yanderes.
That changes if you ever meet someone new and publicly flirt with them or show them affection. Your getting kidnapped again and this time he isn't letting you go.
He comes more demanding of you and will force you to sleep in the same bed as him and shower/bathe with him. . He becomes very controlling of you, to the point he selects meals for you. He has to keep you perfect.
He is a delusional Yandere, controlling, and partakes in stalking. He won't kill anyone though.
Yin/The Silver Demon
Like his brother, he is also likely to see you while spying on MK. He sees you aren't close to MK but still friendly so decided to be manipulating towards you.
He becomes your friend, then your close friend, to that friend who people mistake you to date sometimes. He didn't realize he had fallen for you until one day you were both cuddling on your couch as "good friends" do and all he wanted to do was kiss you.
That's when he decides you are his. He comes over a lot more than he use to and it takes him 2 weeks to actually ask you to be his partner.
He slowly starts being controlling who you can be friends with. People of the same sex as Yin, then slowly your friends. Like his brother, he can get a bit controlling of your diet. It is healthy food but it does lead you to have an unhealthy relationship with food.
Depending on how close your friends are, they either talk to you about how abusive he is getting, or they go to him and confront him. If it's the first coming to you, you will be cutting them off in a week. If they confront him, suddenly your friend is missing.
He is willing to kill for you, stalk you a little bit, is controlling, manipulative, and will unknowingly encourage an eating disorder.
Jin vs Yin
For this one, you would have had to be a worker at speedy pandas, probably the Accountant's Assistant. They watch you and have moments where you just look at your body. They both stalk you but don't know the other is as well.
Yin would probably be the first one of the two to start talking to you in a very flirty way. His brother gets angry and at home, they get into a huge fight over you.
They keep trying to one-up each other. When you show favour to one the other gets extremely jealous. You only notice how bad it's getting when you're out with friends and they get weird looks on their faces.
They do different levels of stalking. Jin does follow you around while Yin hacks your phone to listen in on everything you do. If you decide to level the company because of the admittedly sexual harassment these two are giving you, you will be suddenly seeing them a lot in your day to day life.
If you choose Jin, he will move in with you, up the security, be controlling who you see, and make you change phones. Hell, he might even move you out of the country. It does not matter though, because Yin will hunt you two down and kill his brother so you two can be together.
If you choose Yin, everything from his points times by 10 and he moves you to a high-end apartment. He also won't be having a job. Abusive and controlling. Jin however will hunt you down, get into the apartment, kill his brother and kidnap you. They are willing to kill each other for you.

The Smell of Plum Blossom Tea Ch 18
Summary: Just like a butterfly wing, a single act of kindness can change the course of the future, it certainly did for MK as a black furred monkey put out a hand towards him.
Rating: Teen and up
Chapter 18: Spiders, Demons, and People, Oh My!
“Just one more hour-”
“No, I’m putting my foot down you workaholic, you are shutting down and enjoying this festival with the rest of us,” Tang firmly said with arms crossed.
“But-”
“No.”
“It just-”
“Nope.”
“Sweetheart-”
“Love you too, but no.”
“Just give it up Pigsy, you know he’s not gonna budge,” Macaque called out as Wukong, in his human disguise snickered beside him.
“Shut it,” he barked back.
Tang decided to pull out the big guns as he clasped his hands together and said with wide eyes “If you don’t get your ass out of there and enjoy the festival, I will make sure you sleep on the couch for a week.”
“…fine!” He threw up his hands as everyone else cheered.
“Took you guys long enough,” Mei snorted.
“Just remember kids, threatening the couch is always a good way to get your partner in control,” the historian said with a wink.
“Don’t tell them that!” The pig demon shouted out.
“Then maybe you shouldn’t have opened on a holiday!”
“I can’t help it!”
“I know you can’t sweetheart, but this is why I’m here to remind you,” he said as he gave a kiss to his partner when he closed down.
“Awww, aren’t you both sweet,” Wukong teased.
“Can it!” Pigsy embarrassedly yelled.
“Doesn’t mean it’s not true,” he grinned to Wukong. No one besides those that already met him, knew that the monkey in disguise was the Monkey King and not just some dude called Wukong. Cause if they did, then the whole world would have shortly known by Tang fanboy screeches.
“Now that Pigsy has finally given in,” MK grinned as he ducked a rolling pin to the head, “we can finally meet up with everyone else!” He cheered as his bright purple sash, which was tied securely around his bright red changshan pants, flew behind him as Mei, who wore something similar to MK, but with a green dragon art wrapped around her shirt, charged after him.
“Man they sure are excited,” Sandy chuckled as Tang and Pigsy also followed the two children.
“Is he always like that,” Wukong asked as both monkeys slowly trailed behind them, easily knowing where the group was at all times.
“In a nutshell, this isn’t even his first time trying to work on Lunar New Year,” the other simian commented.
“I can scarcely believe it,” he muttered under his breath, not that it stopped the black monkey from hearing, as he forced himself out of his memories. “Also, have I mentioned that I’m loving the hairdo.” He smirked as he grabbed one of the two long strands from the monkey twin buns he was sporting.
“Blame Emerald, she wanted the both of us to match for some reason,” he rolled his eyes as he adjusted his bright red qipao adorned with flowers.
“I certainly will,” he teased. He was in a changshan as well, but in bright yellow that had clouds littered all around the front and he too had a sash tied around his waist, but in red. “Thanks for letting me borrow your sash by the way.”
“You would think that in your multitudes of outfits, you would have a red sash somewhere tucked in there. It’s even your favorite color,” he fondly huffed.
“I’m just as surprised as you are, I could have sworn I had one,” he lied with a smile on his face. Of course, he has red sashes, that’s his signature look, but he’s not gonna say that he wanted a piece of his friend’s clothing outright.
“Sure,” he rolled his eyes. “Well, we better catch up to them before they blow up the fireworks again.”
“Fireworks? You mean the one used during the parade?”
“Nope, I mean the ones they accidentally cause sometimes when they’re bored together,” he deadpanned as Wukong started to burst out laughing. “Not funny dumbass, there’s a reason there are now fire extinguishers at every other street lamp this time around.” He began to pick up the pace as he jumped onto a rooftop.
“Now I really have to know the full story!” He quaffed as he followed right behind.
“Not from me you're not, I swear I still have myokymia every time I think about it.”
“Man, I had almost forgotten just how good food stalls are,” Wukong said with his face stuffed with buns.
“Rethinking the shut in life,” Mac joked as he bounced the youngest of Yanyu siblings, Yuzu, in his arms.
“Oh yeah,” he eagerly nodded.
“We’ll just sit here and stuff your face, I need to hand Yu Yu back to one of her siblings,” he said as he went over to the group.
And that is precisely what he did as he continued his eating as he gazed upon the crowd of people and demons all enjoying the festival. He could see children running all around as they waved their puppet zodiac animals in the air, some couples were holding close to each other as they ventured from stall to stall, he could even see some mother, father, or guardian holding their child on their shoulders to get a better look.
“I should have come out here sooner,” he mused as he fiddled with the skewer stick in his mouth. “Really is nice out.”
“It really is, especially when the fireworks start,” he stopped when Mei finally announced her presence and sat next to him. He knew she was there and watching him, but he decided it was best if she made the first move.
“Well, how do you do on this fine night, little Miss. Stalker,” though that doesn’t mean he won’t still tease the hell out of her. He may be wary of her, but she is still vastly a child compared to him.
“Could be better, but since you're here I’ll guess I’ll settle,” she shot back and sat next to him.
“Ha, I could almost laugh, moon cake?” He held out a tray filled with mooncakes to the girl, who nodded in thanks as she took one. “They’re not as good as Moonshine, but they are pretty good.”
“The only cooks that can ever rival Pops is the chef that cooked for me when I was young and Pigsy.”
“If you say so,” he shrugged as he finished off the tray. “So what brings you around here.”
“Other than the festival?”
“Oh, that was a given, I mean here, with me as of this moment in time. I thought you still didn’t like me.”
“Still don’t,” she automatically said, “buttttt not as much as before.”
This made Wukong pause in his snacking as he looked towards Mei, “Oh? What changed? Was it witnessing my badassery? Beholding my awesomeness in all its glory? Or was it-”
“None of the above,” she promptly stopped him before he could get any more cringier, “You make Pops happy.”
“Oh,” he has to say that he was both not surprised, but still taken aback by her comment. “That's it?”
“Well, and you have stuck by his side when that creepy ass fucker showed up, so bonus points for that.”
“You should have seen Dad's face when you went absolute ham on his ass,” MK interjected as he latched onto Mei's back. “When he wasn’t all disgusted with the creep from hell, he was grinning the entire time. Especially when you landed those blows on him.”
“He was,” he couldn't help but perk up.
“Ugh, you both have it so bad for each other,” Mei said as MK nodded.
“What?!” He nervously said as he shot a look towards Macaque, who was talking to both Sandy and Yanyu, “I don’t have a-”
“You always try to go near him and cuddle a lot of time, all the affectionate nicknames, the goo goo eyes, jealousy towards Shun and your quick deflection of any mention of Dad boyfriend, stealing Dad clothing even though you had some of your own, I can go all day,” MK smirked as he listed off all the obvious ways the Sage monkey had a crush on the Doctor monkey.
“Don’t lie to us, it's so obvious,” Mei shared the same look.
It looked for a second that Wukong was going to rebuttal, but he sighed in defeat. “Is it really that obvious?”
“To everyone but Dad,” he chuckled and patted the monkey on the back.
“Greeatttt,” he groaned and put his face in his hands. “That’s just peachy.”
“Don’t worry, you won’t get too much grief over it, well at least not from us. I don’t know about the rest,” she shrugged.
“Really?” He peeks through the cracks of his hands.
“The two of us have been keeping an eye on you,” she gestured to both her and MK.
“MK, you too,” the Monkey King held a mock wounded look.
“Sorry, but I have to look out for dear ol Dad,” he scratched the back of his neck. “And to be fair, a part of me really didn’t want him to date anyone anytime soon after Shun and I didn’t know how the both of you would be like after the whole fight and everything.”
“Oh,” was all he could utter.
“But I can say that I don’t think I have ever seen Dad so happy than when he’s around you.”
“Now that’s a lie,” Wukong interjected, “You should see the way he lights up when he’s with you guys, his tail always swishes behind him when you're with him.”
“Ladies ladies, we’re all pretty,” Mei butted in before the two boys could go on to fight over the stupidest thing. “But at the end of the day, you make Pops happy so maybe you're not so bad and I guess you wouldn't be so bad as a partner.”
“It would definitely be weird,” MK couldn’t stop the images from intruding in his head.
“Thanks,” he couldn’t stop himself fondly rolling his eyes, but he paused when the implications hit him, “Wait? Did I just get your approval to court Macaque?”
“Court, who even says court these days?” The dragon successor says to herself.
“Red,” said the monkey's successor, “But yeah, you did. Though when it does happen, I’ll just let future me worry about that.”
“Thanks for the boost of confidence and approval, but those aren’t really necessary, I doubt Mac sees me as nothing more than a friend,” he gave a sad smile.
Both teenagers exchanged a look at the sheer stupidity of the monkey before MK sighed and stepped forward. “Well, I never thought I would be ever giving love advice to the Legendary Monkey King when mine is none existent.”
“Your Portay clone on the other hand is a huge flirt,” Mei called out.
“I still don’t know how that works!” He yelled back, he still can’t believe that his own clone would flirt with both of his crushes when he doesn’t even have the guts to say anything. He turned his attention back to the Monkey, “But what I can say is that you should tell him that you love him before it’s too late.”
“Kid, thank you for trying to encourage me, but I’m not going to do it,” he ruffled his child’s hair, “I don’t want to ruin what we managed to scrounge back together.”
“Dude, Pops still consider you his friend even after your big ass fight that went down in history,” Wukong’s eyes slightly widen at Mei’s words.
“Wha-”
“So, if you think that telling him would lead him to ditch you when not even physically fighting would? Then there is something seriously wrong with your head,” she bluntly finished.
The disguised monkey stayed quiet for a few more moments before grabbing both of their heads this time and fiercely ruffling it.
“Hey!”
“Not again! I just did it!”
“I’ll think about it,” he smiled down at both of them then scoped them in his arms as he walked towards Macaque. “Hey Moonlight! I saw this shooting game a few stalls back, I bet I can beat your ass on it!”
“Try me,” he smirked as he waved bye to the group and eyed the two squirming kids in his arms. “We’re they acting up?”
“Nah, just decided they needed a better view.”
“Your ass is not a better view!” Mei yelled out.
“Being upside down technically counts as a worse view,” MK shouted as well.
“What are you talking about it’s an amazing view!” He teased.
“No, it’s not!”
The black furred simian let out a laugh, “Keep them like this, Gods know it would be easier to keep an eye on them from doing anything stupid.”
“Aye Aye captain!” He mocks saluted as he held them steady and began to walk towards the stand together.
“Put us down!”
“Stop this is really humiliating!”
“Do you hear anything?”
“Nope, just little kids complaining.”
“We’re not kids!”
Everyone cheered as the parade was starting and they all gathered around in hopes to get a better look at all the different floats, with an extra cheer for their own zodiac.
“They sure are excited about the floats,” Wukong chuckled as he watched his student, Mei, and a bunch of other children stand on Sandy’s shoulder to get a better view.
“You should have seen the other year, they almost got onto the float,” he smiled as the two of them sat on a rooftop a little ways away.
“I can believe it…thanks for dragging my ass out here,” he slightly nudged him. “I really have forgotten just how amazing the festival is and spending time with people can be on this day.”
“Anytime Peaches, and if you want you can join us next year, though it won’t be in the city, but rather in the forest. We’ll be just eating round the table and lighting up lanterns with the whole forest, unfortunately not as exciting as the festival here,” he said.
“I would be more than happy to join in,” he instantly said. “I haven’t lit up a lantern in years and besides, anything with you guys is nothing less than fun.”
“Well I’ll make sure to let comet know to bring your ass around then,” he smirked as he looked up in time to see the first firework go off. At moments like these, he’s glad to have durable headphones, it was pure torture back then with ears like his.
“Yeah!” The disguised Monkey King stood up and cheered before sitting back down. “Fireworks are awesome no matter when.”
“I give it a 6/10, now lanterns on the other hand,” he said as he leaned against his friend.
“Don’t disrespect my lights like that,” he lightly shoved him before wrapping an arm around him and putting his head on his as the two of them watched the lights explode.
Everything was truly beautiful at this moment in time.
Unfortunately, the moment couldn’t last as the fireworks were cut short and before either one of them could comment on it, they heard screams and a voice that dominated.
“This is the Year of the Spiders!”
Neither monkey needed them to exchange looks before they both rushed to the scene and saw hundreds of robotic spiders spread all across, chasing and capturing people as they went.
“Shit Mind control!” Macaque cussed as he saw their eyes glow green when the spiders managed to snag someone.
“How in the fuck is the Spider Queen able to do that?!” Wukong muttered to himself as he already dropped his disguise and began to attack any spiders in his way.
“I don’t know, but I think something like that will have the answers,” he pointed to a large spider robot emerging from the ground. “At least Daiyu gonna have a real good time with this.”
“Damn, it’s like Bull King all over again.”
“I’m sorry what,” the black monkey blurted out. He heard the Bull became huge, but he thought it was an exaggeration, so he shook his head. “More on that later, I can already guess you're going to the spider robot of doom.”
“You know it,” he cracked his knuckles.
“You do that, I’ll try to find everyone else and destroy as many of these fuckers as I can,” he emphasized by breaking a few of the spiders on the humans and demons back. He summoned some clones and began to spread them out, “You better not get captured or mind controlled, I don’t feel like kicking your ass right now.”
“Trust me I won’t,” he cockily smirked as he summoned his cloud. “Be careful out there,” he yelled out as he flew off.
“I’m going to laugh in his face if he gets captured, now to find my kiddos and everyone else before I lose it” he muttered as his tail wrapped around the spider that tried to surprise attack him from behind and crushed it into pieces.
“Red!” Mei and MK rushed over to the fallen demon who had crashed land on their ship.
“That was a nasty fall you took there,” she continued as the both of them helped him up.
“What are you doing here?” MK asked once he was up.
“Escaping the Spider menace!” He hissed out to cover up the fact that his face was involuntarily heating up at his crushes arms holding him, “that Spider freak captured my father and she was going to do the same to me.”
“Shit she even captured the Bull King,” the Pig demon said.
“Yes, but luckily I know a way to cure the atrocious mind control that she had enslaved everyone in.”
“You do!” They all hopefully said.
“Yes, but I’ll need your help seeing that my own ride is currently,” he looked over towards the broken parts, “unavailable.”
“If it means saving them then count us in,” MK said determinately.
“But where are we going?” Sandy asked.
“The one place where we can only get the supplies,” he pointed upwards as everyone slowly realized what he meant.
“Space,” well almost everyone.
“No noodle brain! The Celestial Realm!” He loves him, but he can be a bit of an airhead at times.
“Fbiwbfowdjosbd The Celestial Realm! The home of heavenly deities and immortal beings!” Tang tried to go forward but was held back by his partner.
“Down Tang, down.”
“Yes,” he said unfazed, “so will you help me.”
They all exchanged looks with each other before MK stepped forward with a confident grin. “Guys, let’s help a demon steal from the Celestial Realm.”
“Macaque is so gonna laugh at me for this,” Wukong groaned as he tried to break free of the web. “So, so hard.”
“Seems there are things that even you can’t handle,” Spider Queen mocked as she stepped back into the room filled with tied up demons all being drained, some of them more tired than others.
“Can it little caterpillar!” Minsheng yelled out, they too were captured after they got surrounded. They're not as strong a fighter as everyone else, so it was needless to say they were hopelessly outgunned. “No one wants to hear you bitch! Seriously, I don’t know how Daiyu can even stand that voice!”
“You got that right!”
“I would rather die now than listen any longer!”
“Seriously just shut up!”
All the demons shouted out as they mouthed back to the Spider Queen.
“QUIET!” She yelled out in rage, “ Especially about that vulture. Lest you forget, you are all my prisoners now, you are nothing short of a battery for my darling. It’s best to remember that for the rest of your miserable lifespan.”
“I mean they're not wrong,” Wukong smirked, “You are getting really annoying.”
“I, unfortunately, can’t help but agree,” Bull King rolled his eyes at the supposed ‘Queen’ rage. “Your voice is grating enough that I wish to rip my horns from my head and seal them in my ears, but I know it wouldn’t be enough.”
“Why I outta-”
“And besides, you do know that this is not gonna work right?” Minsheng said.
“Now what are you blabbering on about now?” The spider demon was getting sick of this backtalk from these whelps.
“This plan, yeah it’s not gonna work.”
“Oh, now why is that? I suppose you mean of Monkey King protege and their needless efforts,” she smirked as she crawled up to him and leaned in close. “Well, I can assure you that those children are not prepared for my little spiders that are close behind ready to strike when they're down.” She backed up with that same malevolent smirk and was about to turn away when he spoke once more.
“Oh, I wasn’t talking about them.”
“What?” She turned back around, “Then who in the hell are you referring to?”
BOOOM! BOOOOM! BOOOOM!
A series of crashes and explosions all happened simultaneously from the outside as it only subsided for a mere moment before continuing once more.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOOOOM!!
“What in the hell!” She cried out as she caught herself on the wall.
“That, that is who I am talking about,” the rabbit demon said as the spider raced towards the monitor. She pulls up the screen to see a sight that even frightens some of the captured demons. Because there on center screen was a tall malevolent violent monkey with eyes that glow bright purple as it took down some of the larger spiders that have sprouted out. But what they all noticed is that the titanic demon looked pissed as he screamed.
“WHERE THE HELL ARE MY KIDS!”
“What the sweet hell is that!?” She screeched out at the sight.
“Congratulations! You have completely pissed off one enraged papa!” Minsheng smiled at her horror. “Now he will happily introduce you to your execution if you don’t do as he says.”
“What?!”
“Hah, not even I would trifle so lightly when it comes to the Six Eared demon and his claims,” the Bull King laughed loudly at her foolish actions.
Some of the demons were even nodding in agreement.
“You're telling me.”
“Even we know not to fuck with him.”
“Oof, you're really gonna get it now,” Yin laughed.
“Better hope you have some blessing saved up somewhere in that shriveled up place you got a soul,” Jin snorted, “cause you're gonna need it!”
Wukong was staring at the monstrous form of his crush in all of his crush with a slight blush and said with a happy sigh, “Oh you’re so fucking screwed now.”
“That’s Macaque!?” She shrieked as she turned and couldn’t help but give a silent gulp as each and every demon looked at her, whether they were exhausted or not, with a malicious grin.
“You're done Spider Bitch,” Minsheng gleefully said.
She didn’t say anything else as she scurried out of there and went to look for the little girl.
“Bye Bye little spider,” they called out as the door closed behind them leaving them with only the sound of mechanical parts churning and the sizzling noise of their energies being drained remaining.
“Of course you would be infatuated with the Six Eared doctor,” Bull King couldn’t help but sigh, breaking the silence.
“Oh come on, even you!” Wukong shouted back, thus putting the room in a burst of laughter as the demons, whether civilians, criminals, or anywhere in between, began to gossip like middle aged wives at the market when they spotted an old friend.
“Oooo, is that so?”
“Of course you would go after doc, he is quite the catch.”
“Tell me everything!”
“Spill the tea!”
“Now that is something I wouldn’t have guessed.”
“If you have lived as long as I have, you would have long guessed that this was a long time coming.”
“I’m surprised that it wasn’t sooner.”
“Please someone just kill me,” he groaned as the chattering just continued. “Death would be kinder at this point.”
“Sorry, but fresh out of deaths today,” Sheng laughed.
“And didn’t you get yourself like four times immortal?” Yin asked.
“Five, remember the Yama book situation,” Jin said.
“Oh right, I keep forgetting.”
“I regret that so much,” he groaned even louder, it didn’t help that even the Bull King was laughing at his misery. “So, so much.”
Somewhere high in the sky
“What the hell is that!” Pigsy pointed out the giant transparent demon.
They all looked in shock as Tang said, “Please don’t tell me that the Spider Queen made an ally!” He groaned.
While the three adults began to panic at the new situation that popped up, three people, two humans, and one demon smiled widely.
“DAD/POPS/UNCLE!” MK, Mei, and Red all yelled out as they witnessed the scene.
“SAY WHAT!” The three other adults spun towards them in shock.
“Wait,” Sandy squinted his eyes, “Now I may be getting old, but is that giant demon Macaque?”
“What/Excuse me,” both Pig and historian deadpanned.
“ It is! And he’s kicking butt!” MK cheered as the titan stomped on a hoard of spiders.
“Kick that spider ass!” Mei yelled out with a savage grin as the monkey tail threw a giant spider down and obliterated it.
“Of course this would be nothing less than what he can do,” Red smirked at the chaos that was firmly putting the wretched spiders in place.
If anyone was paying close attention, they would have seen both titan and monkey ears twitch. They didn’t move from their position, but a sigh of relief did emerge.
“Found em,” Ahmed asked after he crushed a spider in his jaw.
“Yeah, I don’t know how the fuck they got out of my radius of hearing so quickly, but I found them,” Macaque, who was puppeting his larger version, smiled.
“That’s one worry crossed off.”
“You're telling me, now all we have left is to finish off this shit,” the monkey growled as the lion kept a close watch on his back. While it wasn’t difficult to control his larger version for a short time frame, it was difficult trying to maintain both forms and making sure that there would be no excessive collateral damage. He may be angry, but even he doesn’t want to hurt any innocent people, so it was shortly decided before he began his shadow puppet that the lion would keep guard while the rest helped everyone else. He can even hear Daiyu manically laughing off in the background where there’s the most spiders and can hear the slaughtering of mechanical parts.
Back on the ship, the others were slowly freaking out.
“I thought he was a doctor?!” Tang exclaimed as he watched the monkey decimate the eight legged cretins.
“I thought so too!” Pigsy was just as confused as his partner.
“Dad was a fighter long before he was a doctor, he just doesn’t do it as often anymore. I mean he used to have sparred with the monkey king a lot,” the teenage boy explained.
“You mean to tell me this is him going easy?” The pig demon could feel his eye twitch.
“Yup!”
“I hate to see him at his peak,” the historian muttered, then he paused, “wait, he knows the monkey king?!”
“Uhhhhhh.” MK just realized what he had admitted and slowly began to back away.
“Oooo, you fucked up now,” Mei chortled while sporting a large grin.
It took a minute for it to fully sink in, but once it did, boy did Tang straighten up with his eyes blown wide as if he had just been electrocuted. “No way! No way! Is he the fucking Six Eared Macaque from the Journey to the west?!”
“Say what?!” Pigsy exclaimed.
“Maybe?!”
“Is that a question or an answer!” Tang demanded as he stalked closer to him.
“Yes!” He was officially freaked out.
“Oh this is funny,” Red grinned.
“Right,” Mei happily agreed.
“Are you saying that he is the legendary deity that managed to help so many lives, but he is also the enemy of the great monkey king and I am just now learning that I’ve been hanging out with that same legend and dneirbowdubeodosbsudbksd!” The book loving man's mind has been blown as his words have long passed him.
“Great, you broke my partner.”
“I’m sorry!”
“Wait are you just now figuring that out,” Sandy blinked, “I thought it was obvious.”
“You knew!” Everyone on the ship snapped towards the giant in shock.
“Yes? It’s not like he was trying to hide it,” he pointed out.
“He really wasn’t,” the biker woman was on the floor dying of laughter at that.
“Hey look scary, creepy, too many legged spiders in need of decimating right ahead!” MK diverted the attention back to the city ahead. “Talk later!
“Oh ho ho, believe me, there will be many, many talks ahead,” Tang hissed and stomped his way to the front of the ship.
“Welp that’s going to be Dad's problem right there,” he said.
“Gonna pin the blame on dear old Pops,” Mei snorted.
“Yup! This is payback for the needless anxiety this caused me,” the monkey's successor eye twitch.
“HA!”
She may be outnumbered and her pawns may have been taken out, but she will not back down after all.
“All of you together can’t beat me! I am the Queen of Spiders!” Spider Queen declared in hysteria as she took a step forward towards the monkey brat.
“Oh yeah,” they all turned to see the Monkey King casually walking down the wall as he picked up the staff and with a spin he declared, “Well I’m the King,” and with that statement, he freed his student.
He bent down and helped pick him back up with a sheepish grin, “Well you already know I’m not too hot on some things, apparently spiders are one of them too.” Then they all stood tall against the Spider Queen as if daring her to try to make the next move.
“Well if I can’t have this world, then no one can!” She cried out as she slung herself up to the Spider mech. l and started it up once more as the ground began to violently shake. “I’ll level this whole city!”
Right when she did that though, both student and mentor jumped up in the air.
“It’s now or never!” Wukong cried out as MK grabbed hold of the staff.
“Right!” The two began to spin and spin and spin even faster until they were a golden pinwheel of light.
“Here comes Monkey Kid!” Right after that last work, Wukong flung MK forward as the student shouted out facing the enemy head on and the proud mentor whispered as he watched his kid take that final strike.
The machine broke as everything shut down at that moment in, but before MK could feel proud, he had noticed that he was currently free falling.
“Shit!” He yelled out and quickly looked around to find any sort of platform he could get a hold of.
“I got you!” He felt his collar then his body quickly stop free falling as quickly as Wukong in bird form was holding him up.
Unfortunately, he wasn’t quite fast enough to fly far away enough from the incoming explosion in his small form, but luckily there was another as he quickly grabbed the both of them in his hands and jumped far away enough. Just in time as everything explodes.
BOOOOOM!
The machine shattered in millions of parts that it was spread far and wide throughout the city, finally bringing the Spider Queen's short, but deadly, reign to an end.
“Whew, thanks-DAD!” MK exclaimed as he finally noticed that he was in the hands of his father's titan form.
“Great catch Moonbeam!” Wukong beamed up when he got out of bird form.
The Monkey titan didn’t say a word as examined their bruised, injured, and bartered form and with a worried purr, he gently stood up and began to walk back to the group with them still cradled in his hands.
“Anddd I don’t think he is letting us go any time soon,” the student said as he slumped down, only to wince at his bruises.
“Nope,” Monkey King replied as he tried to relax, but both the memories and the wounds made it very hard to do so, it also didn’t help that there was a familiar smell in the air.
Their form eventually made its way to the rest of the group as they all stared up at the lumbering giant that towered over them all.
“I feel like I should be more frightened,” Tang mused as he stared up at the ominous titan with a glowing eye staring back at them.
“I don’t blame you,” Pigsy huffed as he had to stop him from instinctively standing in front of the group, even though the giant monkey was an ally.
“Just be glad he’s on our side,” Sandy smiled up.
“You're telling me,” Red nodded as he rubbed his hands from stopping the explosion alongside his father.
Bull King said nothing as he stared up at the titan.
“Hey guys!” MK shouted as he waved at them.
“Liking the view from up there!” Mei shouted back.
“It’s pretty nice! I never knew laying down on a giant monkey’s hand would feel good until now!”
“Maybe I’ll give you a ride on my war form then,” Wukong joked as he climbed up and sat on the titan's shoulder.
“Wait what?” Though he wasn’t able to ask anymore as the violent hand slowly came down and in front of the group.
“A ride! Count me in!” The dragon girl hopped in first as Sandy followed close behind.
“This might as well happen,” the pig demon sighed as he supported his partner's weight on him and sat down next to the others. But that didn't stop Tang from going starry eyed over the Monkey King and Macaque titan form.
“I’m not going,” Bull King growled when the hand still stood in front of both him and his son.
Red promptly halted in his step when he said that and looked almost longingly to his friends as he put his foot down.
The Bull demon saw his heir's morose expression and only took a moment before he sighed, “You may go if you wish…son.”
The Bull prince's eyes sparkled at his words and he lit up with glee as he rushed over to the rest of the group, getting one arm hugs from both his friends. Yet, the hand still hasn’t ascended.
“Nice teeth,” Mei commented as the Prince settled down and she noticed her other friend teeth.
“Huh?” MK saw her wordlessly take out her phone and show him his new sharpen teeth, his eyes sparkled with glee. “This is so cool! Hey Red, we match!”
“Indeed we do,” he gave a slight grin, “but mine are much more deadlier.”
“Give me a couple days to get used to this and we can find out,” he grinned back.
Before Red could shoot back a growl was heard.
“I said, I’m not going,” he emphasized his words and glared at the giant.
Giant Macaque only raised his brow as he used his free hand to pluck the Bull King firmly, but gently held him as he continued his way.
“Unhand me you insufferable cretin!” He yelled out as he tried to break free, but with him still being wounded and drained of his energy, the struggle was barely even noticeable.
“And you say I’m headstrong,” Monkey King snorted at the demon struggles.
“Oh I am so keeping this,” Mei smirked as she took so many photos.
“Send me that,” Pigsy and MK said.
“Will do!”
They were only put down when they finally reached their destination, which was Pigsy Noodle shop, and standing in front of the doors was a lion supporting a tired looking monkey.
“Thank fuck you all are alright,” he sighed as he released the titan puppet when everyone was off and he should probably be glad that Ahmed was supporting his sorry ass as he would have fallen straight down from the abrupt disperse of energy.
“Are you okay,” Wukong worriedly asked as he noticed his moon tired form and how the lion was helping him.
“Will be, but for now everyone gets your sorry asses inside so I can patch you up,” he pointed to some of the clones inside already holding materials in hand.
“I’ll help-” MK began to say, only to be stopped by his stare “-after I heal up,” he quickly added.
“Nice save,” Mei whispered as both of them and Red went inside.
“You and I are gonna have a long talk Mr. Six Eared Macaque,” Tang almost growled.
“Wasn’t really trying to hide it,” he smirked as the historian raised both his hands in exasperation.
“And that’s what’s pissing me off, ‘it came along the way,’ you weren’t even trying,” he huffed as he marched inside, but not before giving a stink eye to the lion. “And I bet you knew as well.”
“Guilty as charged,” he had to hold back his laughter as his friend gave another strangled yell.
“You're gonna have one hell of a lecture from him,” Pigsy smirked as he nudged the monkey.
“I have already accepted my fate,” he shrugged.
“Good call, also don’t really care about your past and whatnot, you have already shown me that you're a pretty decent demon no matter what history may say.”
“Thanks,” he gave a small smile.
The pig demon patted his shoulder and went inside as well. Macaque looked towards the blue giant who just smiled.
“I already knew.”
“And this is what makes you the smart one,” he smirked as the therapist gave a hearty laugh.
“You need help,” Wukong cautiously asked once more as he stepped forward.
“I am not doing shit except letting my clones do the bandaging and healing, I need to sit my ass down,” he grumbled before giving a slight smile, “but thanks for worrying about me dumbass.”
“Always,” he smiled back.
“Now go sit your ass inside before I make you,” he deadpanned.
“I mean I don’t really need it, you know I heal pretty-”
“I can easily tell that both you and Bull along over there had your energy drained,” Monkey King paled.
“Ah…so you know.”
“Oh I know,” he tail swished angrily behind him, “and I also know just how fucking dangerous energy transfers are when they’re not done properly! And I already know that it wasn’t really Spider Queen's main concern now is it?”
“Ummm,” he nervously hummed.
“Now, get your ass in there or else,” his eyes flickered.
“Aye Aye!” He quickly walked in and escaped the eyes of doom.
“So it seems that there is more to the story,” Tang muttered as he watched the interactions as a salve got put on his leg. “It seems that the two immortal monkeys aren’t enemies.”
“Oh there is a lot more,” MK wished he could rub his forehead, but his hands were currently occupied by the clone wrapping his hand. “So much more.”
No one could say anything else before they heard the Demon Bull speak.
“I’m not going in,” Bull King huffed, “I’m not so fragile that I need to worry about such items.”
“You know what no,” Bull demon raised his eyebrow at the doctor's tone. “I’m not even gonna argue with you, your ass is going in there and you are going to sit down and you are going to get checked over.”
“You dare speak to me like that!”
“Frankly I don’t care!” He barked out as he broke free of Ahmed’s hold and marched up to the larger demon. “I have long since run out of fucks to give and I simply don’t fucking care! I am already spread thin with clones all around making medicine, helping out at the hospital, checking for survivors, and other shit! I was spread thin when I made my Puppet Titan to obliterate the fucking spiders. I am so spread thin that even my own self control is waning as we fucking speak that it’s taking all in me not to just make your stupid ass go unconscious, just so I won’t have to fucking hear you! So. Go. In. The. Noodles. Shop!”
“You don’t have the power to stop me,” he growled and took a step forward, not even acknowledging the lion demon piercing eyes nor the monkey Sage's own ominous stare.
“If you don’t get your ass inside I will call Queen Iron Fan and tell her about your stupidity about your health,” he bluntly stated.
“You wouldn’t dare,” he took a step back in fear.
“Try me bitch.”
“…fine,” he let out a final huff and lumbered inside.
Mei whistled as the clone was getting some derbies out of her back, “Dannnggg, just one word of the mother and he just comes.”
“Mother does worry about our safety when she’s gone,” Red nodded.
“For good reason.”
“Okay!” Macaque said loudly as he plopped himself right next to Wukong, “While you guys are getting bandaged, how about you all tell me what the hell happened both inside the ship and how the hell did you get that antidote because I know the smell of immortal peaches from a mile away and that antidote had that in spades.”
“So that’s why the whole city smells like that,” the brown furred monkey eyes widened, “I thought I was going crazy.
“What is the point in that?” Bull King questioningly asked.
“Well, I thought that it would be better if we all figured out how not only she managed to get her hands on mind control potion that potent, but how almost all the demons, including you two, one of the strongest ones in the world, got captured by the Spider Queen.” He emphasized, it literally makes no sense how she was able to do that. Sure she may be strong with access to her minions that do her dirty work at times, but she’s not that strong to manage to take down so many villains, and she doesn’t have the connections to find a potion of that kind of caliber.”
“That is a fair point,” the Bull demon reluctantly agreed.
“Great! Now talk.”
“She caught the staff?” MK blurted out as he popped up from Mei's shoulder.
“I know! Caught me by surprise too,” Wukong huffed at his student surprise.
“To be fair, Lady Iron Fan did the same with me, but she had some sort of metal glove.”
“But not with pure energy,” Red leaned back into Mei side, “it took me countless centuries to find all the supplies to make that glove and the Spider Queen only used her energy, something is not adding up.”
“Ain’t that the truth,” she nodded as she subtly brought her two crushes, which she will happily keep to herself until both of them are comfortable, back to her. She could very much appreciate the fact that they both had very warm and comfortable bodies that she will happily take advantage of.
“So that’s where Minsheng was,” Ahmed hummed, “the others were worried about them.”
“He really did tell her off, but I saw him escape with the rest after they broke free,” the monkey explained.
“That’s one worry off then.”
“Son, how did you know the incantation and the symbol to enter the Celestial Realm?” Bull King asked when they got to the part where they were about to enter the realm.
“Umm well you see,” he nervously chuckled, “there are so many ways you can get inside the realm other than the main entrance and it’s not like it was hard to actually find another way once you know what the main one looks like. But don’t worry, I haven’t stepped foot inside the realm until today, so they shouldn’t know that it was me who entered!”
“To be honest I never knew that there were other ways you can get inside,” Wukong admitted, “Nice job.”
“Indeed, show me how exactly you managed this feat when we get home,” the giant Bull said. It is no easy task to accomplish something that no one else has done before, he didn’t acknowledge the pit of warm pride he felt.
“Yes father!” He excitedly said, not noticing that his two friends were eyeing the Bull King with disdain.
“Wait hold up, how the hell did you manage to sneak into the Celestial Realm almost undetected?” He questioned when his son finished telling them how they escaped the holy realm.
“Well there was like nobody there, the only real problem we encountered was the spiders, two lion statues that came to life, and perhaps my crippling anxiety,” he shrugged.
“Well get to that last bit later, but what do you mean no one?! You went to the Heavenly Orchard, Lao Tzu alchemy lab, the fucking Jade Emperor Throne Room! What the hell did you mean no one was there?!” His eyes twitch as he gets shrugs from almost everyone, he says almost as now Red son is realizing that what he said is true and is slightly paling at what that could mean. Even Wukong and Bull King are looking at the group in absolute confusion.
“That does raise a concerning question,” BK rumbled. “The Celestial Realm is never without the deities inside, especially the Jade Emperor himself. So if all the deities were gone on the same day then there must have been a deadly matter that needed to be taken care of…but everyone gone? That still makes no sense.”
“You're telling me, it wasn’t even that easy for me to cause havoc when I was up there. I had to disguise myself as so many people just to make it out to the courtyard,” Wukong nodded.
“It just doesn’t make sense on why-” he stopped himself as he looked towards the other monkey and then his son and a thought occurred. “No, that couldn’t be, hey flicker do they still have that Spirit detecting thing for when you enter the realm.”
“Indeed they still do,” he faces palmed as he completely had forgotten that they had been specially made after people, deities, and demons tried to break their way into the realm one too many times.
Macaque couldn’t stop his smile from growing as he finally realized what happened and he burst out into laughter. “No way! No fucking way! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”
“Huh?” Everyone echoed as they watch the monkey burst out almost out of nowhere.
“Umm Dad?” He tried to call out, but he was too busy laughing.
“Pops? You good?” She tried, absolutely nothing in reply.
“Mango, moonlight, my other half,” Wukong grabbed him by the shoulder, which did make him pause, but still was sporting a wide grin. “What the hell did you figure out?”
“Srk, okay holy shit this is just way too funny,” he choked out and continued. “The reason why no one was there was because they sensed MK spirit energy and the staff, both of which had been imbued with your energy. I mean, I know that after sensing your energy was coiled around mine a few weeks ago, they did not want a second round with Wukong in any way shape, or form, especially his successor, so they just fucked off and left!”
Dead silence overtook the small restaurant as everyone's eyes slowly turned to the Monkey Sage, who was sporting both a cheeky and a sheepish grin.
“I feel like I should probably apologize to them one day.”
“The sad thing is that it sounds about right,” Red sighed. While he doesn't visit the celestial realm, he knows enough to know that many deities, including the Jade Emperor, would rather just up and leave than deal with Sun Wukong after what he last did no matter how many centuries may have passed. He does have to admit that out of everything he did, this may have been one of his biggest feats yet. “What is my life right now?”
“Let’s just continue,” Pigsy said as he was holding back his partner from asking so many questions.
“Evil laughter?”
“Shut up.”
“It was fun!”
“And highly entertaining.”
“Shut up!”
“And that’s all of it,” MK finished off.
“Crazy as usual, but that still doesn’t explain how she was able to do what she did,” he leaned back. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw Wukong stiffen, but he kept that to himself. He will get it out of that monkey when they're alone.
“I heard the whispers again,” everyone's eyes whipped towards Bull King, but only Red son and Macaque knew what he was talking about.
“You mean the same ones that controlled you back then,” the doctor hissed out.
“Indeed.”
“You met Lady Bone Demon?!” Wukong blurted out but immediately regretted that as everyone's eyes were locked on him.
“You know that vile cretin!” Bull King growled.
“Wait Bone Demon! As in the same one you met in the Journey to the West! That one!” Tang wanted to lean forward, but both Pigsy and Sandy were holding him back.
Wukong said nothing as he gripped his fists under the table.
“Monkey King?” MK worriedly asked at the monkey's still expression.
“Sunbeam,” the monkey blinked at his friend's hand on his and looked up to see his concerned look, “what happened?”
“…okay,” he entwined his finger with his and looked at the group. “I met her on the ship.” He then began to explain his experience with the demon on the ship and the restaurant was silent as he talked.
“So,” Macaque broke the silence, “it seems that we were right on the idea that this was no ordinary spirit.”
“You’ve been investigating this?!” Wukong asked as everyone barring the Bull family and Ahmed looked in shock.
“Of course I have, Bull King got possessed and no one found that at all suspicious? I mean that’s why Queen Iron Fan is currently not even in the city right now, she is meeting some people over some enchanted artifacts and spells that will help. But now that we know who exactly we're dealing with, I think we can narrow that down by a lot. So, you’ll update her,” he said towards the Bull family.
“Already doing so,” Red’s son said as his eyes were glowing red.
“Good, now anything else you tell us?” He looked back to his dumbstruck friend.
“Just that I…encountered her a few times before and that there was a reason she was buried so deep underground,” he sighed as he rubbed his thumb on the black fur. “What she wants the most is to make herself known to the world and she wants to accomplish this by conquering the world, so she’ll be after me first and my powers.”
“And we will be ready,” MK determinedly said. “We know that she is alive and that she is probably planning something, but whatever it is, we'll be one step ahead of her.”
“You got that right, I mean who would ever expect this,” she gestured towards the room filled with people, demons, and immortals, “Wukong lives in isolation so in no way will he be interacting with mortals, supposed enemies with Pops and Bull family.”
“That part is still true,” Bull King grumbled.
“Mostly, but even then you can tolerate him and that is what she won’t be expecting!”
“But there still is the problem that we don’t know what she is planning after her plan failed,” Tang pointed out.
“Was it her plan at all?” They all turned to face Pigsy.
“What do you mean?” MK asked.
“Well, it just seems that with the whole spider theme going on, it was more of the Spider Queen plan and the Bone chick tagging along at the end, you know, like that one person in a group project. I always hated that guy, stupid Hans,” he growled.
“You…do make a point,” Red eyes flickered once he finished his talk. “And mother also said that she will be going to the highlands next after she’s finished dealing with the…unruly elves.”
“That’s one way to say it,” Bull King nodded.
“But since the plan with the Spider Queen failed, where would she go next?” Mei asked.
“We’ll hold on,” everyone looked to Sandy now as the giant looked at Wukong and Bull King, “You said that she was following the Spider Queen, right?”
“Yeah.”
“Indeed.”
“Well I may have only met the Spider Queen once, but it’s easily recognizable that she has a superiority complex that hinges more towards the self importance side, and judging by how you describe the Bone demon, she is very tactile and manipulative to use this to her advantage. So we already know it was Spider Queen's plan first, but it was the Bone demon who most likely approached her first as you said that the Queen was more hostile towards the other. But, even when the plan failed, I think that she will still stick with the Spider Queen as she is not only one of the strongest in the city, but maybe has the resources she needs at the moment,” he finished and took a sip of his tea.
“Holy shit,” Mei whispered out as MK nodded.
“Knew you were smart, but man you were hiding it in their big guy,” Pigsy smirked.
“Oh well just a guess based on what I know about their personality and actions,” he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck.
“A well educated one it is,” Bull King said, “What is your profession?”
“I’m a therapist.”
“That makes sense,” he nodded.
“But for now, how about we hold this off until tomorrow,” Ahmed said as he looked at everyone’s bandaged bodies and drooping eyes, “I think we all deserve some shut eye.”
“But-”
“Their invasion just failed and they won’t be staring back up any time soon,” he cut MK off, “this can wait until tomorrow, where our minds would be fresher and perhaps our bodies a little lighter.”
“Agreed,” Macaque nodded.
“…okay,” MK gave in.
“Good, now everyone upstairs,” most of them began to trudge back up, the doctor eyed the Bull family, “I assume you have the teleportation spell?”
“Yep, prepped and ready,” Red confirmed.
“Then have a safe trip back,” and with final goodbyes, the Bull family left the restaurant, and with a flash, they were gone. Macaque watched them leave and promptly grabbed hold of the back of Wukong collar “And where do you think you're going?”
“Back to the mountain?” He questioned.
“No you're not, you're staying here.”
“Look Mac I really don’t feel like talking more about her,” he sighed once he knew everyone else was gone.
“And that is fine, but you are not leaving my sight anytime soon, now come on,” he pulled him up, “there is a hoard of blankets and pillows calling our names. So just relax, you are safe.”
It didn’t impact the monkey until he felt the warm coil of violet energy gently brush against his vigilant golden aura, did he finally settled down, and his nerves slowly relaxed and the next thing he knows is he is sitting on the rooftop surrounded by blankets and pillows and he is currently snuggled on Macaque shoulder as he hums softly and felt his soft hands groom his fur.
“Sleep Sunshine, we can deal with it all tomorrow,” he whispered and tucked him further underneath his chin.
He wished he could thank him for doing this, for watching over him during his blackout, for keeping him calm, but the words eluded him, and instead, he cuddled further into the hold. He stiffed when he heard soft footsteps approach, but relaxed at the familiar energy of both of his kids approaching him.
“Mind if we join,” MK asked as he took in the sight.
“Would you be up for that Sunspot?” Mac looked down.
Wukong didn’t say anything once more and just wordlessly nodded.
“Alright, you both can join, but right to bed.” He firmly told them both.
“Oh don’t worry, even my bones feel tired,” Mei said as she cuddled next to the black furred monkey and MK softly laid next to the brown furred simian.
Then there’s was silence once more as only the bustling from the streets could be heard as people reunited with each other once again, the whistle of winds, the steady breathing of the small group, and the soft humming of a six eared monkey lullabying them further and further into a deep sleep. And as Wukong listened, felt, and saw everything, only one thought was left as he closed his eyes for a long slumber.
He really loved his family.
As to why Mac didn’t get captured? Easy, he doesn’t have the same kind of cocky ego that both BK and Wukong shared. He actually likes to think before he acts.
Also, hey yeah remember how I said my longest chapter was like two chapters ago, welll I made a freakin new one and guess what? IT’S OVER 9000!! Like holy shit I need to sleep, but damn am I proud of how long I can make these XD

Ink Pages pt.1
This is fan fiction that is posted on AO3 by the same name. It features Inkypages/Tintedlenses (Macaque x Tang) Hope you Enjoy!!
https://archiveofourown.org/works/33650371/chapters/83623204
The day was plain, Macaque leaped from roof to roof. It’s been two days since fought with Monkey King and was defeated by Monkie Kid. Furious, he tries to figure out another way to defeat Monkey King. Staying in the dojo wasn’t much help so he decided to get some fresh air.
“Come on, think! What type of weapon is out there that could kill that immortal bastard” - the thought to himself. That’s when he spots Mk running down the streets.
“Now what do we have here.” - he grins, getting a better look at Monkey King’s successor.  Mk stops for while, catching his breath.
“*huffing and puffing* C-Can’t be late … gotta get … the package” - Mk says to himself before running off again.
Macaque decides to follow him, waiting to know why he’s in such a hurry. After a while, Mk stops and enters Outdoor Market Place. Macaque stops and makes his way down an alley. It seems like Mk is looking for someone. He sees an opening to attack Mk without anyone knowing.
‘Your mine now’ - he says to himself, preparing to attack.
He gets startled as someone calls out to Mk. Mk turns, smiles, and runs towards the person who called him. Macaque gets irritated. Who dares interrupt him?!
He peeks at the corner and sees … someone … beautiful. Macaque sees the most beautiful human being he’s ever seen. A man with glasses, a red/white coat, and a scarf.
“There you are, Mk! Where have you been?” - the scholar says.
“Sorry to keep you waiting, Mr. Tang. Pigsy gave me more orders to deliver.” - Mk replies with a weak smile.
“Pigsy, Pigsy. He’s giving you way too much work.” He replies, shaking his head in disappointment. Tang pats Mk’s head.
“I’ll talk to him later about your work. He shouldn’t give you so much work. It’s not healthy for a growing boy.”
“You know I’m 22 right? I’m not a kid anymore”. Mk replies, fixing his hair.
“I know but, you’re my kid.” Tang chuckles and wraps his arm around Mk.
Mk and Tang laugh it off, not knowing the shadow monkey observing them
Macaque’s heart can’t stop beating. He looks at Tang, he looks at his body, up and down. It’s perfect, his body is perfect. His skin… it’s smooth and soft. His eyes are beautiful. So is his smile.
“Well, we better go get Pigsy’s delivery. It’s getting late and the market is starting to close. Let’s not keep Pigsy waiting.” Tang says leading the way.
“Yes, sir.” - Mk replies, following not far behind.
Macaque follows them around the market. After a while, he winds up following them back to Pigsy’s. He sees the pig waiting outside, hands crossed and with a frown. Tang and Mk arrive with the package.
“What took you two so long? Do you know what time it is? I’m about to close the store!” - Pigsy scowls.
“Sorry about that, boss. With all the extra deliveries, I arrived at the market late.” - Mk apologies.
Pigsy gives a heavy hump. Tang looks at Pigsy with a glare.
“Pigsy, you can't be angry with Mk, he works extra hard and is the Monkie Kid, fighting DBK and hanging out with Mei and Sandy. Give the kid a break.” Tang says with a sad expression. Mk joins in, making puppy eyes.
“Ya, like a day off?”
“Don’t push it, young man, now go set the package on the counter.” - Pigsy snaps back.
“Ugh, fine.” - Mk makes his way into the shop with a frown.
“Don’t drop it, or you’re fired!” Pigsy yells out.
“You know you can’t fire your only employee, Pigsy.” - Tang replies with a smirk.
Pigsy sighs. “Must you always be a smartass?”
Tang lightly chuckled. His voice made Macaque’s body numb, he felt a sudden heat run through his body.
‘What … am I feeling?’  He thought to himself. He snaps back when he hears Pigsy yelling at Tang!
Macaque could feel something boiling inside of him. Suddenly Pigsy hits Tang on his head, making the scholar fall back.
“You should think twice before saying anything smart, you freeloader!” - Pigsy shouts.
“Ow, that hurt!”
The boiling turns into a flame as Macaque is triggered by this. The Lamppost nearby light suddenly went dark by Macaque’s sudden anger. It startles Pigsy and Tang, Macaque quickly hides in the shadows, not being seen.
“What was that?” - Tang said, concerned.
“Not sure. The bulb must have popped.” - Pigsy replies, reaching a hand out to tang, helping him up. In a single pull, Tang gets up.
“Wow Pigsy, have you been working out? You seem to have gotten stronger, you could almost lift me with one hand.” - Tang smiles on. Pigsy’s face turns red by the sudden compliment and prays he gets from Tang.  Macaque notices this and gets even angrier, making him kick a garbage can. Pigsy and Tang suddenly turn in the direction where it came from.
“You head inside, I’m gonna go check it ok?” - Pigsy says patting Tang on his shoulder.
“ Ok, be careful.” - Tang says, heading inside.
Pigsy grabs his broom and heads towards the alley. Macaque quickly hides in the shadows.
“Who’s there? Come on out!” - Pigsy demands.
That’s when a raccoon pops out, startling Pigsy. He shoos it off and it runs off. Pigsy turns back heading inside the shop. From inside, Macaque can hear Tang asking what happened. Pigsy tells him that it was just a raccoon. Macaque makes his way out of the alley but runs back in when he sees a green motorcycle park. A girl gets off and runs off, calling out to MK.
“Mk! There you are! I thought you said we were going to meet at the arcade?!” Mei yells, angry from waiting for an hour.
“Sorry about that, Mei. Had a couple more orders plus had to get a delivery for Pigsy.” - Keeping his head down in shame.
“*sighs* I guess I could let this slide.” Mei looks at Pigsy, “You shouldn’t give so much work to Mk. He works so hard, fighting DBK clones plus training with Monkey King.” Tang gives Pigsy a smirk. “Told you so.” Pigsy opens his mouth but closes it knowing he isn’t winning this argument. Everyone starts bursting into laughter. Macaque focuses on Tang’s voice. Hearing him laugh, warms his heart, it makes him smile. He wants to feel this feeling forever, and more. He wanted to do things, he never imaged he would do. But how could he get close to him when his enemy is near him at all times? Unless …  he isn’t his enemy. Not anymore.
“Hey Mk, can I ask you something?”
“Yeah, what’s up?”
“Whatever happened to that weird purple thing that attacked a few days ago?”
“Oh-oh that, um …  well uh … Me and Monkey King took care of it. Don’t worry about it. W-why do you ask?”
“Oh no reason, it just, don’t get me wrong but that thing kinda looked like him?”
“W-What no it doesn’t look like him at him at all.”
“He’s right, it looks more like me. ” - a sudden voice enters the conversation. Standing in the door was Macaque, hands on his hips and a smirk on his face.
Everyone but Mk has confused looks. This guy looks like Monkey King but is very different from him, besides appearance. Macaque looks at Tang and gives a small wave. Mk quickly takes out his staff and stands in front of his friends.
“What are you doing here?!” - Mk yells at him.
“Wow, easy there kid. I just wanted to stop by and say hello to my favorite student.” -Macaque replies with a grin on his face.
“I’m not your student, not get out of here before I knock that smudge clean off your face.” - Mk threatens back. Pigsy can see the look on Mk’’s face, anger, and fear.
“How did you know I was here?” - Mk demands.
“I saw you at the market,” Macaque leans over, looking directly at Tang. “With your cute friend back there.”
Tang feels uncomfortable by the sudden flirting the demon is giving him. Without a second thought, Pigsy stands next to Mk, ready to fight. Mei joins in.
“Leave this place Macaque or else.”
“Ya! Leave you Monkey King Imposter!”
“Easy there. At least here me out-”
“I don’t need to hear anything from you. You just can’t come in and threaten my friend like that.”
“Threaten? Now, why would I threaten a cutie like him.” Macaque winks at Tang, angering Pigsy.
“Get out of my shop, Now!”
“Mk!” A sudden shout comes from behind Macaque. Wukong walks in, looking at the ground, not noticing Macaque.
“You left your-” he sees Macaque. “Jacket…” There was a long silence between them.
“Monkey King! Nice to see you again, ‘bud’. ” - Macaque chuckles. Wukong drops Mk’s jacket and launches himself at Macaque, violently pinning him by the throat on the wall.
“How dare you come back! You didn’t get the memo, to leave us alone.” Wukong takes the staff from Mk.
“Looks like I’ll have to get rid of you myself.”
Tang, not far from the demon monkeys sees what is about to happen. Not a fan of violence plus not wanting Pigsy ‘s shop to end up destroyed, he speaks out.
“Wait!” - Tang yells out, making Wukong and Macaque turn and look at him.
“I’m not sure what exactly happened between you three but clearly violence doesn’t solve anything. If we want him to leave, we should at least hear him out, despite his” Tang gives Macaque a worried glare “odd approach towards us.”
Macaque smiles.
“See, he gets it.” Macaque turns into a shadow, freeing him from Wukong’s grasp. He makes his way to Tang, appearing behind him.
“Tang!” - Pigsy yells out.
“Cutie here knows how to treat an alley.” Macaque places his hands on his shoulders leaning his head on Tang’s shoulders. Wukong quickly grabs Tang, yanking him away from Macaque. Tang gets behind Wukong.
“Keep your filthy hands away from him!”
Macaque snarls at Wukong for taking his price away from him.
Mei interrupts “What do you mean by alley?”
“Ya, spill.”
Macaque looks at Tang, stops, and takes a quick breath. “Ahem, as I was saying.” He looks at Wukong.
“I want to redeem myself.”

Since we're both addicted to the same ship, how about 25 with FreeNoodleshipping? (I am very happy to know I'm not bothering you with these prompts, thank you for that)
Yessss! Also *sweats* I somehow made this angsty without meaning to. (Of course not! I love people sending me prompts! Sorry I haven’t been answering the prompts lately. I was little lazy and unmotivated but keep sending prompts! I love them!)
Prompt List
25. “Wait, don’t buy yet! There’s more!” // “You’re a horrible, no-good dork.”
                                     -----------------------------
It was another day shopping in the market. The two were wandering around, as usual, they were being extra cautious since the spider queen incident. They had their arms hooked together, their bodies pressed up against each other as Pigsy looked at his list. Tang leaned in to get a look at it.
  “What do we need, Pigsy?”
Pigsy pushed him slightly, not letting go of Tang’s arm. “Too close, Tang,” he grunted. “We need carrots, tomatoes, mushrooms, and apples for dessert later.”
“Okay. Try not to fall under a trap this time,” he teased.
“Hey! That woman put a spell on me!”
  “Sureeee. That’s it.”
“She was attractive! Can ya blame me? How did you not fall for her?”
Tang shut his mouth, he wanted to say ‘Because I’m in love with you, you oblivious pig.’ Instead, he stated “Guess she wasn’t my type. Also yes, I can blame you! You got us captured!”
“I’m sorry, okay! At least we got out of it!”
“We wouldn’t have gotten into it if you had listened to me!”
Pigsy huffed, “It was a spell! I still don’t get how ya didn’t fall for her.”
“Because I’m in love with someone,” he mumbled. The pig’s ears perked up. Did Tang just say he was in love?
  “What did ya say, Tang?”
  “No-nothing!”
The pig’s eyes widened and he tilted his head. “Did ya just say ya like someone?”
“N-no!” He pushed Pigsy away, messing with his hair to avoid looking at the pig, a huge blush on his face.
The pig frowned, a feeling of sadness overwhelming him at Tang admitting he was in love with someone along with jealousy coursing through his veins. This was the first time he ever heard of this, they had known each other for years, why did Tang never tell him? He had always liked, no, loved Tang, well not at first but then the scholar grew on him, he grew enough on him to where they now lived together in an apartment, letting Tang steal a bowl of noodles on a rare occasion, listening to the scholar’s ramblings as his eyes sparkled and gods, he had beautiful eyes, Pigsy could stare at them all day if he could. The chef quickly shook himself out of it. “Who are they? Are they cute? What are they like? Do I know them?” He needed more information, who had stolen Tang’s heart? That was his job!
  “It’s no one!”
“So are they handsome or beautiful? Who are they?”
“No one! I’m not in love with anyone!”
“Then why are ya blushin’?” Tang felt his cheeks grow hot. “They must be special.”
“Th-they are... Let’s just shop.” Tang let out a sigh as he dragged one of his feet across the ground.
  The pig frowned again. “Okay…”
He hooked their arms together again as they made their way through the marketplace, he had to drag Tang around. It broke his heart to see Tang upset, Pigsy shouldn’t have asked about the love thing. Did this person reject Tang? He would go after them if he did.
He nudged Tang. “Hey; why don’t we go to a bookstore after this?”
Tang’s eyes quickly got back their usual shine. “Really?”
“Yea, I’ll even pay for it.”
Tang hugged him, the chef turned pink. “Thank you Pigsy!”
“Yea, yea, yea.” He patted the scholar’s back awkwardly.
The scholar beamed at him and grabbed Pigsy’s hand, quickly taking him to where they needed to go so they could go to the bookstore faster. It was a few minutes later that they had gotten everything they needed. He was checking the list just in case, when he finally looked up at Tang, he had sparkly eyes and a wide grin.
  “Is that everything?”
  “Yea, Tang.”
“Perfect! Let’s go!” He pulled on the pig’s arm, the pig quickly having to grab a plastic bag he had left on the ground as he was being dragged away. The sound of crumpling plastic could be heard as Pigsy held tight to the bags, Tang maneuvered around various people on the street to get to the bookstore, holding on tight to the cook’s arm.
“Tang! Slow down!” But Tang didn’t listen, he was too excited. How rare was it that Pigsy offered to pay for something? It was like a one in a million opportunity!
Finally, they arrived at the bookstore, Tang had let go of Pigsy’s arm. Pigsy checked the bags to make sure nothing had fallen out and surprisingly, everything was still there. He narrowed his eyes at Tang or he was going to, if Tang hadn’t already entered the bookstore by himself. Pigsy pinched the bridge of his snout and walked inside.
He looked around the bookstore, searching for him. He sighed, why did Tang have to go inside without him? Books were lined up against shelves with different labels like “romance,” “action,” and other genres and subjects. It was somewhat quiet, there were people chatting but in hushed tones. There were slight sounds of beeping from the checkout counters and the smell of coffee was lingering in the air from the coffee shop connected to the place.
Pigsy kept searching for Tang until Tang came up to him and planted a bunch of books in his arms. “Tang!”
  “Carry those for me, okay?”
“Why? Ya got arms!” He huffed and turned to go towards the checkout counter.
“Wait, don’t buy yet! There’s more!”
Pigsy sighed. “Do ya really need this many?”
“Yes! You did say you would pay! So I’m buying as many interesting books as I can find!”
“I’m gonna be broke after this.”
“I promise I won’t spend that much.” He stroked the cook’s cheek.
  Pigsy suppressed a purr. “You’re a horrible, no-good dork.”
Tang nudged him and winked. “Isn’t that why you like me?” The smile he gave Pigsy was blinding.
The pig blushed. “Ye-yea.” Tang leaned in and kissed his cheek before going to look at more books. Pigsy let out a purr that he was holding and a lady approached him.
“Awww, is that your boyfriend?” She asked. “You two look adorable together.”
That made him turn even more red. “N-no. We’re just friends, sadly,” he mumbled.
The lady gasped. “Really? Because you two seem like a couple. He did kiss you on the cheek after all.”
“He’s just excited, I promised I would pay for this.”
“That is so sweet of you! I wish you luck in your relationship!” Then she walked away.
“Th-thanks.” He tried to hide his face in the cover of the books. What Pigsy didn’t know was Tang had been observing them, he hadn’t heard the conversation but from Pigsy’s red face, he could probably guess. He glared and continued to look around, ugh, he hated when the pig flirted with women. He found a few more books then stomped over to Pigsy, he put the books in his arms again, glaring at him.
“I’m done,” he stated grumpily, his fists clenching into a ball. He wanted to punch something, the anger and envy overwhelming him.
Pigsy stared at him with widened eyes. “Are ya okay, Tang?”
“Why do you care?” He avoided staring at him. “Let’s just go pay for this then you can go flirt like you always do.”
  “What? Tang, are ya okay?”
“Ugh, stop asking that! Since when do you care? Let’s go!” He demanded. He stomped to the counter with Pigsy following close behind with his eyebrow raised. What was his problem? He had been happy just a moment ago. They didn’t say a word as they stood in line, Tang avoided Pigsy’s gaze by looking down, his glasses shining to cover up his emotion as he crossed his arms.
Eventually, they checked out and left the bookstore with Pigsy holding on the plastic bags with the groceries and books, not daring to speak to each other. Anytime, Pigsy attempted to place a hand on his shoulder, Tang would wave him off. It was making the pig incredibly concerned and irritated, couldn’t Tang just talk to him?!
They reached the front door of their apartment. Pigsy dropped the plastic bags and pulled out his keys. He opened the door and opened the door gently. “Tang, could ya help me with the bags?” Tang simply huffed and walked inside.
The pig scowled, picking up the bags, placing Tang’s books on their living room table then putting the grocery bags on the kitchen counter. Now, he was mad. He stomped towards Tang’s direction who had trudged to his room. He swung Tang’s door open, the scholar was reading a book on his bed, legs crossed. He glared at Pigsy. “Hey! Be careful with my door!”
“WHAT IS WITH YOU? YOU’VE BEEN ACTIN’ WEIRD!”
Tang gently shut his book, not taking his eyes off the pig. “WHY DO YOU CARE?”
“BECAUSE YOU’RE MY FRIEND! BECAUSE WE LIVE TOGETHER!”
“THAT DOESN’T MATTER! IT NEVER MATTERS TO YOU! WHY DON’T YOU GO FLIRT WITH SOMEONE? YOU ALWAYS DO THAT AND… and you ignore me…” Tang began sobbing and brought his knees up to his chest, putting his arms around his legs.
Pigsy’s mouth went agape. He went to Tang’s side and started patting him on the back, sitting on the bed beside him. His heart broke at the sight, he wrapped his arms around him. “Hey, what’s wrong?” He asked in an unnaturally soft tone. “Have I been ignorin’ ya?”
“N-no,” he replied muffled. “I’m just being an idiot. It’s not your fault. It’s- it’s nothing.”
Pigsy lifted Tang’s chin up, tears still flowing from the scholar’s face. “Hey, don’t say that. Don’t call yourself an idiot. It’s not nothin’ if it’s makin’ ya so upset. Your feelings are important to me. What’s wrong?”
Tang buried his face into the chef’s chest. “I… just…” He shook his head. “It’s nothing. I’m sorry, Pigsy.”
“It’s not nothin’, Tang. I care about ya, okay? So if something’ is makin’ ya upset then I want to know. Have I been ignorin’ ya? Because I haven’t, Tang. Ya always my full attention.”
The scholar bitterly laughed. “How can you say that when I see you flirt? It’s like every time your eyes land on someone, I don’t exist. I want your eyes to land on me, just one time, please just let your eyes land on me,” he whispered, clutching onto the chef’s clothes and closed his eyes as more tears continued to appear.
“Tang, what are ya tryin’ to say?”
“I’m in love with you,” Tang screamed. “Gods, why are you so oblivious?” Pigsy opened his mouth to say something before closing it. His mind was swimming, Tang was in love with him? Is that why he was so mad earlier? He didn’t know what to say. The lack of response made Tang quickly got off the bed. “I’ll- I’ll leave. You clearly don’t feel the same way.” He made his way towards the door when he was pulled back, a gasp escaped his lips, he felt something around his waist. He looked down and saw the pig’s arms. “Let me go!”
“Calm down.” Pigsy buried his face in the scholar’s shoulder.
“Why? You don’t feel the same way!”
“Who said that? Who lied to you?” He demanded.
“No one. It’s obvious. After all you were flirting with that woman earlier.”
“Is that what ya think I was doin’? Tang, she came up to me to tell us that we were a cute couple. I promise.”
Tang let out a breath of relief. “I’m an idiot.”
“You might be an idiot but you’re my idiot. I love ya. I’m sorry I never said that before. Ya always have my attention. I love the way your eyes sparkle when ya get excited about somethin’, I love how smart ya are, I love that no matter what ya stay, ya stay with me.”
“Of course I stay, I could never leave you. You are my everything. You make me laugh and you’re a big softie. I always stole a bowl of noodles to get your attention. If you love me then why did I always see you flirt?”
“Because I always thought ya were never interested. I’m sorry. I’ll make it up to you.”
“You better!” He shifted his body to face Pigsy, blushes on both their faces. Their eyes glancing at each other’s lips.
“Can I kiss ya, Tang?” Pigsy asked.
“Yes, you can. You can always kiss me.” Pigsy beamed and pressed a kiss against Tang’s lips, it was gentle, them taking their time as they clinged to one another until they separated and touched foreheads. “Wow, that was perfect.”
“Ye-yea. I love you, my freeloader.”
“I love you too, Pigsy. Sorry for earlier.”
“It’s fine. Ya can always come to me when ya feel that way. I love ya.”
“Love you, you big softie.” He nudged Pigsy, a wide smile on his face.
“Want to help me with dinner?”
“Sure. Maybe I’ll steal something while we cook.” He winked and headed off to the kitchen.
“Hey!” Pigsy shouted and began chasing Tang. Tang laughed as he ran, Pigsy caught up to him and carried him into his arms. “You’re a dork.”
“And you’re a softie,” he replied and gave him another kiss, this one lasting longer than the last. The lady was right, they are an adorable couple after all.

A Theft and a Message
(This is a snippet of a fic I'm just posting to AO3 for... reasons.)
-_-
It was a quiet, ordinary summer's day in the manor. It was a grand manor, done in shades of blue and only rivalled by Long Manor. It was quiet. Peaceful.
Until a giant staff broke through the ceiling.
If you looked up, you would see two figures, holding cardboard boxes, cackling at their quick escape. The staff fell and in a move that was carefully practiced, the two ducked and rolled. Xiaojiao got to her feet first and shifted her boxes to grab Xiaotian's hand. The two ducked in and out of streets and alleyways, determined to keep any pursuers confused. Finally, they zoomed into Pigsy's Noodles. The two collapsed, laughing. Mr. Tang smiled fondly at the scene. "I presume your mission went well?"
"Yep!"
"We grabbed all of Xiaotian's clothes except for the really bad stuff!"
The two friends fist-bumped. This mission to Xiaotian's biological family's manor had been planned for a week. When he had...left, Xiaotian had been forced only to bring his most precious belongings along, meaning much of his stuff had been left behind.
Like his clothes.
Yes, a lot of the stuff he had worn was forced on him. But there was stuff MK liked and that he felt good wearing. But there was another reason. A reason that had been flirting and teasing him since they had kissed weeks ago.
Pigsy poked his head out, smiling proudly at the sight of the boxes and the two covered in ceiling dust. “Are you two planning on going back?” he asked.
“Maybe,” Xiaotian said, getting to his feet and hefting up the boxes he held. “We still need to sort this.”
“Well, get to it. And wash that junk off you, I don’t need any dust in my kitchen!”
The two of them headed upstairs, determined to sort out their loot. Xiaotian banged open the door to his room and sat down on his bed, allowing Xiaojiao to grab the spare outfit she kept and head into the shower. He went after she came out dust free. Then the two sat down and opened the first box to begin sorting.
There were three piles: stuff Xiaotian was keeping, stuff given to Xiaojiao, and stuff to either donate or burn. "I forgot how pretty some of this stuff is." Xiaojiao said in the middle of the third box. She held up a green sweater and glanced at him hopefully. He nodded and she quickly placed it in her pile.
"Yeah. A lot of it was nice, I just didn't want to be forced into wearing it." He held up a sundress and she shook her head. Into the burn/donate pile it went.
"I get it. Ooh, I forgot about these!" Xiaojiao held up a pair of cream-colored tights. He nodded his approval and she placed it in his pile. Xiaotian reached into the box, pulling out a familiar sweater. He grinned at it, giving a glance at the tights.
Payback was going to be so good.

"And it's just…why does he care? I've never given him a reason to care before now." Red Son paced the length of the room. He was in his secret workshop tonight, where he kept personal projects from his parents. It was also where he kept two burner phones.
He was leaving a message on one now. His mother had forbidden contact with his half-sister ever since she had run away. Red wasn't even sure if this was her number. But…
It felt nice to imagine having someone to vent to.
"And I...I don't know." There was a beep of a new message, followed by another. Red raised a brow at the realization it was coming from the other burner. "I'll talk to you later, Lian."

MksDadShipping prompt: Tang and Pigsy put together a bet on who can make Wukong flustered, winner or lack thereof is up to you
It was the morning after their enlightening conversation. Tang was at his normal seat, staring at the counter as if it could reveal the secrets of the universe.
Or, at least, how to ask Wukong out and making their duo a trio.
"Uh, are you guys okay?" Tang looked up at the question. Xiaotian was hovering by his shoulder, looking worried. "You two haven't started arguing over Tang's tab!"
"We're a bit distracted, kid." Pigsy said as he entered the kitchen. He passed Tang his noodle bowl, which did nothing to help with his thought process. A considering look passed over his face. "Hey, actually, maybe you-"
"Do you know the best way to flirt with the Monkey King?"
Xiaotian blinked. Then, slowly, the confusion on his face slid into panic. Tang and Pigsy shared concerned looks. "I- Uh- You- I..." He started to babble, swaying on his feet.
That was their only warning before their son collapsed.
Pigsy yelped, jumping over the counter to catch him before he faceplanted on the floor. "Well, we broke the kid," he said, guiding Xiaotian to a booth. The kid groaned weakly as he was sat down, being allowed to faceplant into the table. "Want to wreck anything else today?"
The scholar considered this. "Preferably Wukong," he answered. "But we have no idea how to do that."
Pigsy let out a rude noise before returning to the kitchen.
The day continued as normal, except deliveries were handed over to Xiaojiao when she arrived since Xiaotian still wasn't in a state to drive. Then there was a knock on the doorway. Before Pigsy could ask who was knocking, there was an explosion.
"Hello, peasants!"
And Red Son was stepping through the hole. "What's the-" Pigsy yelled, ready to give the fire demon hell. He came over all the time, so why did he feel the need to blast a hole in his wall this- The answer followed his son in.
The Demon Bull King was in the shop.
He looked around, seeming almost bored with the sight. The two adults gaped as the silence dragged on. It was broken by Xiaojiao. "Hey, DBK!" she said, waving from where she was perched next to Xiaotian.
There was an amused snort. "Dragon Girl," the king said. "Little Thief. I'll be speaking to your fathers and then we'll leave. Red Son?"
"Yes, Father!" Before either Pigsy or Tang could speak, Red was throwing Xiaotian over his shoulder and heading out the hole, followed by Xiaojiao. "Have fun!" he called before disappearing.
Then it was the three of them.
DBK approached and the two tensed as he pulled something out of his pocket-
It was a piece of carefully folded paper.
They stared. An impatient shake of the demon's hand had Tang grabbing and unfolding it to reveal a list. "These are all the ways I remember how to fluster my brother," DBK rumbled. "I hope this helps."
Without another word, he turned and left the shop.
The two stared before turning their attention to the list. "That... huh." Pigsy wasn't sure what to say to that. "That's fortunate."
"This is perfect! Now I know ways to flirt with Wukong and convince him-"
"Why you? There's two of us."
Tang blinked. Then he burst into laughter that eventually slowed once he saw Pigsy's face. "Oh, you're serious." He straightened, setting the list down. "Pigsy. Love. Light of my life. You aren't the best flirt."
"I can flirt!"
"Remember the Spider Queen?"
"She was planning to eat us anyway!" Pigsy grabbed the list, followed by Tang grabbing it. The two struggled before the demon grabbed his partner's face. "Look, we're being ridiculous. We'll-"
"The person who flusters Wukong the most wins!"
Pigsy blinked. "Wins what?"
"We'll figure that out when I win!" Tang yanked the list out of his partner's hand and sprinted out the store, laughing. Pigsy blinked before growling and running after him.
"WANNA BET?!"
-_-
"This feels mean."
In a luxury penthouse, DBK watched the setup on the screen. The two had just left the shop, which meant the games were beginning. Next to him, Red Son ordered the Bull Clone to follow.
"Are you sure we aren't taking this too far?" Xiaotian asked, watching the screen with worried eyes. Xiaojiao handed him a plate of mochi, one which he took.
"The simian sent me a vegetarian diet calendar. Believe me, he's earned this by now."
Xiaotian side-eyed him but sighed, content to munch on his mochi. If things got too bad, he would be able to stop it. And flustering Wukong wasn't too bad.
Right?

Pigsys pov as Peachtea develops, not as a jealousy thing, as a 'which Embarrassing Tang Story do i tell Wukong first as revenge for all the times Tangs judged me for MY romantic blunders? That time he nearly drove his RA insane back during his college years? That time he guzzled a whole bottle of caffeine pills to get his phd and kept insisting he was going to venture into the shadow plane and fight his evil doppelganger? That HE USED TO HAVE A POSTER OF WUKONG IN HIS APARTMENT HE WOULD PRETEND TO FLIRT WITH THAT I DARED HIM TO MAKE OUT WITH THAT ONE TIME WE BOTH GOT PLASTERED???'
Stories
A/N: Ah, the beauty of being a multishipper...
“Uh, Pigsy...? What’ca doing?”
The chef looked up. Xiaotian and Xiaojiao were in the doorway of the kitchen, staring at him with mild concern. “Nothing. Why do you ask?”
“You’re peeking over the sill of the kitchen window,” Xiaotian explained, his face never losing the concern. “And doing the Evil Chuckling. What gives?” Pigsy glanced at his position and had to concede. His boy had a point.
“Look over there.”
Xiaotian and Xiaojiao looked through the window. Pigsy was pointing to a table. Tang and Wukong were sitting there together, talking. Their conversation was inaudible, but guessing from the notebook, Wukong was helping the scholar correct some things. Something he said made Tang laugh and the king smiled fondly.
“Yeah. Wukong and Tang being cute together?”
“You aren’t gonna fight Wukong over Tang, are you?”
“Why would he do that?”
“Because they-” Xiaotian paused, glancing at his boss. “Do you want me to tell her or do you...?”
Pigsy launched up, slamming the doors that hid the kitchen from sight closed. “Tang and I used to date.” Xiaojiao gasped, looking like she was unsure whether to be concerned or excited. “It was only for a few months and we decided that we were better as platonic partners. And don’t worry kid,” Pigsy ruffled Xiaotian’s hair. “I’m happy for them.”
“Then why are you doing the Evil Chuckling?”
Pigsy grinned. “Because I’m not sure which embarrassing Tang story to tell Wukong first.” It was revenge, sweet glorious revenge for all the times Tang had judged him for his romantic pursuits! He had hundreds of stories- His thoughts were cut off by water splashing in his face. When he blinked the water out of his eyes, Xiaotian was holding a spray bottle.
“Your eyes were glowing all demon-y again.”
“Thank you.” Pigsy wiped the rest of the water out of his face, thankful the kid was mischievous enough to follow his request. When he saw Xiaotian’s concern return, he sighed. “Don’t worry kid, I’m not actually going to do that unless it’s an emergency.”
“Because Tang would kill you?”
“Because Tang would kill me.”
Pigsy would keep that promise...for three days.
He and Tang walked into the noodle shop, the latter loudly berating Pigsy for falling for the charms of a fox spirit at the market. (Why was it always the market?!) It had been a narrow escape for the both of them.“-do you know what they do to you Pigsy?! They suck your soul out-!”
Much to his delight, Wukong was talking to Xiaotian. “What happened to you two?” the king asked, staring at them. He drifted to Tang’s side, staring at the scholar in concern as he started grooming dirt out of his hair.
“Oh, nothing.” Pigsy picked the first story that popped to mind. “But...” Xiaotian stiffened, eyes going with clear realization. “Hey, Monkey King. Did you know Tang has a poster of you-”
“PIGSY NO!”
