You could hear them both speaking to each other through their mics, but Chris's voice was clearer since he was in the room with you, while you can only hear Matt's voice through the mic when he shouted.

The sound of keyboard clicking filled the quiet room as he focused on building and shooting his opponent.

"52," Chris exclaimed louder than necessary, prompting you to glance up from your phone to see that he had hit the opponent.

You observed Chris and his game, noticing his intense focus, while catching a whiff of his invigorating savage cologne from across the room, which made your knees weak.

"Touch grass, you fucking kid!" Chris grumbled after being knocked down by the opponent, leaving Matt to take over.

“Calm down, young man” Matt said after Chris spoke, making him just roll his eyes.

You chuckled quietly, shaking your head and rolling your eyes with a slight smile, finding it funny when Chris’s rages since he comes up with something random.

He didn’t hear your chuckle or anything because he had his mic on. As he watched himself lose two health points every second after being knocked down, he soon perished, eliciting a groan as he realized he had lost all his items.

You observed Chris remove his mic and put it back on once his hair was away from his face. He then turned to you and muted himself to avoid Matt thinking he was addressing him.

"Are you okay ma?" he inquired, eyeing you wearing his shirt with your own pajama shorts. You nodded, unsure whether to speak since he was still muted and you couldn't see him unmute.

He smiled, turned back to his gaming chair, and resumed speaking into the mic. "Could you grab my sniper since you have a free inventory slot?" Chris asked Matt. “Will do”

As the gaming session continued, it eventually reached 1 am. You found yourself bored and craving Chris's attention, but he only glanced at you briefly whenever he died without saying anything.

You place your phone on the bedside and sat up instead of laying down on the bed. You couldn't help but approach him and hug him from behind.

He gasped slightly when you startled him, but his heart rate returned to normal once he realized it was you. "Hello," he mouthed as he continued talking to his brother on the mic. “Hey,” you smiled and ran your hand along his shoulder, feeling the warmth compared to your own hands.

He leaned back in his gaming chair, still engrossed in playing Fortnite. You couldn't resist trailing your fingers along the veins in his arm and not hands since he used his hands for gaming.

"You seem to have a thing for my hands," Chris remarked, making you smile before pausing. Matthew fake gagged, already aware that you were with him, anticipating Chris's flirtatious nature. "No, please, save the flirting for later," Matt chimed in on the mic, his voice audible as you were close by.

"Oh, shut it," Chris said with a small eye roll. You stopped tracing the veins on his arms and just looked at him in amusement. His hands clicked on the keyboard as he focused on shooting a player in the game.

You kept staring at his hands, the PC, and then back at the screen. He continued chatting with Matt until there were only 20 people left.

"The fuck?!" Your boyfriend, Chris, shouted as he was suddenly sniped out of nowhere. Matt tried to build and revive him, but his structures kept getting knocked down.

Chris seemed a bit irritated but didn't do anything. You looked at him again, and he met your gaze. The stress in his eyes softened a bit when he saw you. "Stressed, huh?" you said to Chris, and he nodded with a faint smile.

You brushed his hair out of his face, tucking a few strands behind his ear. He watched you before taking off his mic, readjusting it like a headband again, and putting it back on. “Goofy hairline” you tease making him squint his eyes at you before shaking his head.

He looked at you once more before watching the screen in disbelief as his character perished, with approximately 260 seconds left to get his reboot. Letting out a sigh, he grumbled as he lost his loot once again, although he understood it wasn't Matt's fault.

In the background, Matt discussed the damage he inflicted on the opponent who had taken down Chris.

"Do you trust me?" you whispered, catching Chris off guard with the unexpected question, even though deep down he knew he did. "What?" he muttered before confirming, "Yeah, I trust you..."

A smile played on your lips as you noticed the confusion on his face. Moving closer, you positioned yourself between his legs, causing his heart to quicken its pace, especially when he noticed you pulling your hair up.

Unaware that his mic was still on, Chris whispered urgently, "Y/n... come on."

Although he realized he was still audible, he spoke softly, ensuring Matt wouldn't overhear. "Y/n, I swear," he murmured, reluctantly allowing you to remove his shorts, revealing his half-erect cock in his boxers.

If I were to make the next Zelda game, what would I change?

Bring back underwater traversal and real Water Temples.

If you were to think about any iconic Zelda item that isn't a weapon, you'd most likely think about the hook/clawshot. I like that we can climb, but I miss the claw/hookshot. Personally, I'd have the Skyward Sword climbing mechanics where you can climb a little bit but not much, but make it so that the hook/clawshot can go on any surface. Even better is a double claw/hookshot so you can swing around like Spider-Man

Linkle. That's right, from the original Hyrule Warriors spin-off game. It would be cool if we got to choose to play as Link or Linkle at the beginning of the game. Make it so that Link can't get into Gerudo Town without a disguise like in Breath of the Wild, but also make it so Linkle can't get into Goron City without a disguise, that way it's even and there's no major advantage.

If Linkle can't be an option, I'd have Link be a different race than Hylian. Tears of the Kingdom already teased us with this concept with the Ancient Hero. Before TotK, the closest we got was Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask Link who thought he was a Kokiri but found out that he was in fact Hylian and also had ghost masks to shapeshift into other races. (Or you could also add Linkle as this race too. But I think that's a bit much)

20 hearts OR harder enemies. With BotW, Link had 30 hearts. In literally every other Zelda game he had 20. With 30 hearts, it was a decent change in normal mode, but in Master Mode, it made it essential. Enemies did more damage and evolved from their normal mode counterparts. In TotK, Link has 40 hearts and no Master Mode. The enemies do basically the same damage as in BotW's normal mode and sometimes even far less with the decayed-unfused weapons. So I would make the series go back to 20 hearts or have Master Mode as the default difficulty.

A new fast travel system. Look, shrines were a good idea. Especially for a fast travel system, but if we're getting rid of the 10-20 extra hearts how I would do it, we need something else. For this, let's turn to Skyrim for just a second. The fast travel system there is broken because every cave, tower, dungeon, etc. is a fast travel point, but let's look at the towns/cities and important landmarks: they're fast travel points once we discover them. So let's turn those things into fast travel points in this hypothetical Zelda game. Now, what about the less significant parts of the map? Well, a few train stations around the map with a train. I mean, trains are in the Zelda universe. Spirit Tracks literally is about that, so it wouldn't be a big deal. I had this idea back in 2021, and now even fucking Fortnite has a train around a map with a few train stations in random spots.

This one will make a bit more sense if you read my "If I were to make a Zelda game, what would I keep?" post. Heart Pieces/Stamina pieces. You could go the normal route with 4 pieces makes a full thing or go Twilight Princess style with 5 pieces makes a full thing. These would probably be given as quest rewards in quests that are Side Adventures rather than Main Quests or Side Quests. Side quests would give you rupees or a rare item and Main Quests will give you more story progression.

Bring back the "one-and-done" races like the Kokiri, Twili, Minish, Zonai, Lokomo, etc.

9: GAMING

YUUTA X READER

It was the day after your run in with Yuji and Yuuta. You kinda wished you got more time with Yuuta but such is life! Or whatever they say.

You stared at your phone, the messages you received from Yuji. You were kinda excited for your club activities after school but also scared about the game choice.

Nevertheless you switched off your phone and remained silent in your seat until your homeroom teacher arrives. You were all alone in your class, all alone as in no Megumi and Maki.

They both had different homeroom classes with their own friends, leaving you all alone but you can live with it.

All morning classes were finished, lunch came and you made your way to find either Maki or Megumi. Instead you saw both making their way towards with with their friends behind them, minus Yuji.

Inumaki was the first to speak up.

"You're coming after school right?" He asked.

You nodded but eyes wasn't on him, it was on Yuuta.

'Did Maki actually know about your crush? Why is he here?' You asked yourself.

Nobara was second to speak up.

"He will make sure you spend most of your time with him okay? No need to worry!" She said, pointing at Inumaki while flashing you a smile.

You, confused as to what she meant, had a confused smile on your face yet went on with what she said.

After that, you all went to lunch, meeting up with Yuji of course. He noticed you then smiled.

"Can't wait for after school." He said.

The bell went, signaling that school was over. Not for you though.

You gripped your bag as you made your way towards the club room.

In there, you saw Inumaki, Yuji and a few others, some on the pc while other were chatting.

"You're here!" Yuji exclaimed as he and Inumaki made their way towards you.

You nodded.

They both explained what you do in this club. Basically you try out new games and compete in friendly competition with other schools or have tournaments.

You weakly smiled.

"Those are no way up my alley." You mumbled.

"It's okay, when you get to know the others it will be fun. Today you're gonna try out a new game. Fortnite." Yuji said smiling as he had a hand on your shoulder.

Inumaki left us, he went over to another girl who's surprisingly in the club. Maybe you should get to knew her.

Yuji slightly pulled you over to a pc and turned it on.

You already had an epic games account, you played games from it so all you needed to do was learn how to play fortnite.

He gifted you items which you told him he didnt needed to, you doubt you will actually play the game after this but he insisted.

Then you both started to play an online match.

You were scared out your skin, sticking behind Yuji like a sad puppy.

But the more you played the match, the more fun it became. You got into the game, jumping everytime you heard a gunshot, not screaming like you told Yuji, because you're in public. Not embarrassing yourself today!

Anyways, the match lasted a while, you both were still alive thankfully until someone in the distance shot Yuji not to mention he wasn't near you at the time.

"Oh I'm down." He told you.

"YOU'RE WHAT." You slightly shouted, apologizing for raising your voice as you began to run to him but.

"I'm dead."

Now it's just you, panicking in a Fortnite match.

"You got this don't worry." He said as he walked up behind your chair.

He was helping you, pointing out what to do and where they are.

You shot the person who killed Yuji but before you could do anything else, someone else got you.

You came 2nd in your first game and you had fun thanks to Yuji.

He was a bit bummed out for you but congratulated you because it was your first game.

He was even more excited when you said you had fun.

While both of you was in your own world, Inumaki and the girl was looking at you both then at each other, smiling.
