in every kind of way you are, adding your careful personality, you’re always known as a person or a friend who likes to take care of eachother. the fact that you’re a sociable person, not mentioning how you’re a pretty good cooker, makes it even better. since (almost) all of the person in the gang are stubborn and only focuses on the phantom realm, barely taking care of themselves, you, who ARE LOWKEY DONE OF THEIR DEPRESSING ATTITUDE decided to.. try and take things more careful.

“ah, i tried making some meatball dumplings as the starter. for the main i made jjajangmyeon with the side of kimchi and mozzarella corn! aaand- logan helped me while making this ice mango and sago. please dig in everyone!” foods were laid on the table with a glam presentation. anyone who sees it could immediately drool as their appetite will boost.

aiden and taylor were practically drooling as they stared into the food with shining eyes. while ashlyn, tyler, ben and logan tried to hold their drool and act from being so hungry. i mean, who could you blame when you’ve all been stuck in a phantom realm for days and haven’t got any… gorgeous food (other than that delicious sandwich that ashlyn’s parents made).

“thankyou y/n!” “mmm looks delicious..” “best day of my life for real!” “smells amazing..” all whispers of appreciations were heard until.. “thankyou for making these mom!” the word mom came out of nowhere as aiden blurted it out unconsciously. “oops-“ he soon realised what he just said as the table went quiet, but the sound of your laugh came trailing. “no worries, it’s fine totally! i guess i do act like your mom sometimes..” everyone got some jjajangmyeon with either kimchi or corn with mozzarella and meatball dumplings.

everytime you all succeed a mission, whether in the phantom realm or real world, you always make them special food, mostly taiwanese and korean, for a feast.

though, sometimes, when everyone’s having a rough day at school, you’d make them some treats.

“ughh.. have you guys done that 50 math questions? it’s literally due by tomorrow…” aiden slumped on the cafeteria table, following ashlyn who’s already burried her face in her crossed arms. “literally forgot ‘bout those..” tyler rested his head on his hand while ben wrote something on his notebook, “i haven’t touched my math book since monday”. seeing what ben has written, taylor answered, “relatable” as she faceslaped herself. while logan, “i don’t think i’ll survive if i do all of them today..” he continued eating his lunch.

“i don’t even understand or know what’s it about…” you looked at them, trying to remember what you’ve learned. “i know right… ughh..” taylor closed her eyes as she tried to calm her mind down. but the busy background noise made it seem impossible.

the others were groaning or sighing about how complicated all of these were when you pulled out a fancy container. hearing the zip from your bag and somehting being placed on the table made aiden perked up to see what is it.

“ooh, what’s that y/n?” he looked closely while the others started to gain their focus on it. “well.. since it’s been bad lately.. i decided to make us some tteok and songpyeom.. my mom used to make these for me when i was younger. and it instantly lit up my day” you smiled, remembering the memories you’ve made.

“oooh! sounds yummy” everyone looked into the container as you opened it. “here, have some! i made sure all of us would get atleast 3” you passed the container to everyone as they chose which one they’d like.

“mmmm! i think the songpyeom fits my taste more” taylor hummed as she ate the snack. “same here” answered ashlyn, sounding grateful that you’ve made this for all of them. “i’m more to the savoury so tteok is better for me” logan pulled his opinion out as ben nodded, agreeing logan. “well- i think i’d have to agree with logan” tyler continued eating his tteok peacefully.

you were grateful that they all loved the foods you made. aiden shot a playful grin before saying, “well.. i think it’s understandable if we call you mom now! ehhe” hearing that made you laugh “well.. i don’t really mind either-“ “it totally suits you y/n!” taylor continued eating the snacks you made as aiden spammed “mom mom mom mom mom” in the background noise, earning a shhh from the group after a while.

you don’t always make them food, you’ve made them tea when you all were training too.

you all were panting from the rough and tiring practice you’ve had with ashlyn’s parents. all of you definitely needed something to boost your energy. you scrambled through your bag to find a thermos and small plastic cups (omg your efforts bruh) for all of you to take atleast a sip.

“look at what i brought, everyone!” you called for their attention as they all perked up at your direction. “what’s for today, mom?” taylor joked before chuckling. “well.. i made us some alishan tea who could accelerate metabolism” you smiled while pouring some in each cup. “oooh! that’s cool!” aiden stared at you pouring in the tea. “i think i’ve heard of it before somewhere..” ashlyn mumbled, secretly excited to taste it.

soon, you handed each cups for everyone to take. “thankyou y/n!” all of them answered. each of them took a sip of the tea and clearly most of them liked it. you let out a relieved breath as soon as you see their expression turned into happy and not disgust. “sooo.. how is it?” you asked in curiosity. “it’s naturally sweet, cool!” “yummy, mom” “just like my taste” they all answered differently but none of them answered negatively. you were happy how they all liked them.

“it’s amazing, thanks mom” ashlyn answered too. but when she did, her mom was walking towards your direction and was a bit shocked when she heard it. soon, ashlyn noticed her mom coming by and realised what she just said. “w-wait it’s not like that-! she’s just acting like our mom in the group but that doesn’t mean i’m replacing you-“ she explained, hurriedly. scared that her mom will think of something else.

but her mom only chuckled as she calmed ashlyn down. “i get it don’t worry.. i was just messing around!” she hugged ashlyn to reassure her.

you’re glad that this ‘mom’ thing doesn’t make any trouble. you’re actually happy of it. i guess being the mom of the group isn’t so bad after all, huh?

Uses custom weapons to attach in place of his prosthetic; It works best with Splatlings but can be adjusted to attach other weapons.

Genuinely don't have a lot to say about his design. He gives off Splatoon 2 Octoling vibes (showoff /hj) also i wanted to make his hair wispy like it should be.

The drawing doesn't give it credit but I swear those are glasses not goggles .. they're opaque-colored slanted oval glasses !! ^_^ u can interpret them as spiked or just eyelashes, both are right.

off kilter love atsumu miya x gn!reader (fluff) m.list | wc: 1k | prompt: songwriter + 'wait really? you're not joking?'

    soft instrumental music plays throughout the café, the harsh wind blowing against the side of the building. patrons of all sorts have made their way into the building, protecting themselves from the summer storm. atsumu sits by himself at a two-person table, staring at the music sheet in front of him.

  headphones rest on his ears as the relating melody replays over and over. he taps the floor absentmindedly with his foot, trying to feel the rhythm of the music. however, the only lyrics he can think of are the ones he's sloppily written on a napkin. they don't follow the rhythm of the song he's writing for, nor the feel of the album it's going on. 

  leaving atsumu to stare down at the napkin in front of him, feeling heat rise to his cheeks. chills run down his arms as he thinks about the very person he's written the lyrics about. and much to his surprise, there you stand, ordering coffee a few yards from him. a ring of fate's bell seemingly working in his favor.

  you have yet to notice him, focused on something on your phone. your hair was blown in the wind, your bag nearly falling off your shoulder. he could envision you like this for forever, off kilter but ultimately still the most beautiful person he's ever seen. probably more beautiful than he's normally seen you, because it's so real. 

  atsumu wants to walk up to you, but by the time he finally gains the courage, you're already ordering. he can practically hear your usual order, 'mocha frappuccino, some vanilla, and a drivel of caramel on top'. he honestly couldn't even remember the last time you asked him to get you something else. 

  now, though, he's positive you're ordering it again, a smile written across your face. just as you're handing off your credit card, your gaze flickering in his direction. as you're handing off the card, you open your mouth in surprise, giving him a short wave with your free hand. 

  very rarely do you see each other outside of work, but when you do, it sends atsumu's heart out of his chest. your professional wear unravels into streetwear and you wear a perfect smile. as you finish your transaction, atsumu quickly shoves the napkin under his wallet. anxiously sweating at the thought of you reading it. 

  "atsumu! hello, i'm so happy i dropped in here during that wind storm..." you look out of the large front windows, the small city trees blowing backwards from the extensive weathering, "because i'll be getting a drink and a conversation, plus i haven’t visited new grounds yet.”

  he nods enthusiastically, trying to figure out ways to talk to you casually, "yeah, i come here pretty much every day after work to think and write some lyrics."

  "well maybe i'll have to visit you some. i've had such writers block lately, and the artist i'm working for is begging for it to be done before the main festival season starts," you purse your lips, pulling out the chair across from him and sitting down without another thought. 

  normally, if it were anyone but you, he'd probably shake his head, annoyed. yet for you, he'd go to the end of the earth to find you a chair. just so you'd even have a thought of sitting across from him. "right, yeah, i'm having trouble too. none of the lyrics are working right, i may have to work on the melody some," atsumu taps his chin with his pencil, giving you a tired smile. 

  “well let’s brainstorm some, the storm isn’t dying down anytime soon and i’m still waiting on my coffee..” you lean forward in your chair, resting your elbows on the table as you look across the way at him. 

  the way you look at him sends his heart rate spiking, emotionally vulnerable to your whims. before he can get a word out, likely to stumble on it anyways, the barista calls out your name. “uh, let me go get that for you, i’ll probably grab us a snack too if you’re going to be here for a bit,” atsumu lets out a shaky breath, figuring he’d save the embarrassment if he offered you a snack. 

  you nod, biting your lip, watching as he picks up his wallet and heads for the pick up area. normally, you wouldn’t snoop on your colleague and friend’s things, but he left behind a little napkin. it was hiding below his wallet, something scribbled onto it with a pen. the café’s name, new grounds, in the top right corner. right below it rests a few sentences. 

  ‘i wanna get stuck in your head, i wanna watch a t.v. show together, and when we're under the weather we can watch it in bed…’ is written in poor cursive. your name is circled beside it, the writing more clear, more thought put into each letter of your name. you find yourself looking up at him, smiling to yourself. sure you’ve thought of him in more than one way, but never did you think he’d feel the same.

  the way he flirts, acting oh-so relaxed, felt so natural in front of you. like he’s done it a million times. except, really it’s just been for you. as he walks over you look down at your feet, wondering what to say to him. “uh- i don’t mean to eavesdrop, of sorts, is that song about me?”

  “oh- uh yeah, but i was just brainstorming, like you don’t have to say anything-”

  “but i like you too, i always have,” you look up at him, trying to hold back the smile that was fighting so badly to come to the surface. 

  it takes a moment for the gears in atsumu’s head to turn all the way. his eyes open wide as he tries to interpret what you’re saying, even if it’s really straightforward, “wait really? you’re not joking?”

  “yeah, yeah i’m not joking,” you reach your hand over the table, grabbing his hand with yours, “i wouldn’t joke about such a thing… especially when said someone knows my favorite pastry to buy…”

super super super good take on the idol genre !!! i will admit i dont read much manhwa about idols (like. at all) but i am really enjoying how they explore the industry in this one. plus theres some bodyswapping :D and the character arcs are great too !! both mains learn a lot from each others lives :]

INSANELY GOOD !! the author clearly did a lot of research into the era this is set in -- early 1900s, during WW1 (which on its own is pretty unique like im not seeing a lot of historical manhwas set this time) and definitely has some very heavy themes. the mc time travels back to her twenties just before ww1 breaks out, after her marriage goes wrong w her husband and she dies from. falling down the stairs. RIP. i just think its really well written and the pacing is lovely - the author is not infodumping all the bad things that happened in one go and its working really well. also look at this guy

Overanayzling Rick and Morty againnn

I think a big reason why Rick and Morty is one of the few shows where I don't ship anyone, aside from the fact that most of the main cast is family, is that I don't think Rick or Morty are ready for a relationship yet.

The show tells us that Rick isn't ready for a relationship yet with Auto Erotic Assimulaton. It's not that he treats his partners particularly bad, he's actually pretty affectionate with them. Even using affectionate pet names like "baby", but he is a terrible influence. Even if they would rather not drink or do drugs, he'll pressure them into doing it, because he's selfish and he wants to drink and do drugs. So who cares if YOU don't want it? Unless he learns how to stop being pushy when it comes to certain things, he isn't ready for a relationship just yet.

There also is his whole trauma with Diane, thanks to that, he has a tendency to push people away when they get too close, this also, would be bad for a relationship. If you want to have a healthy relationship, you obviously can't just push people away. But Rick is unable to stop, so this is more proof that he cannot be in a relationship right now.

His substance abuse. Yeah this one is pretty obvious, we don't see a whole lot of consequences in the show, fingers crossed they'll show that with season 8! But yeah, we do see that he does have a tendency to be violent while drunk, I mean he literally held a KNIFE to Morty's throat and yelled at him when drunk. He also set up saw traps with the VIndicators, again, when drunk. I mean if he doesn't get physically aggressive, chances are he would at best be unpleasant when drunk, and substance abuse destroys relationships, not just romantic ones, Rick does do it to cope, but that doesn't make it okay or erase the hurt that rises from it.

And that's just 3 of the major problems I could think of! I'm not saying Rick should NEVER get in a relationship, but it's clear that he has A LOT to work on before he can be in a healthy and loving relationship.

Now let's describe why our favorite traumatized child, Morty isn't ready for a relationship as well.

Now Morty does have less problems than Rick, but that doesn't mean he's ready for a relationship. The anime just ignores this though…wait. Now's not the time to rant about how horrible the anime is, okay. Now, Morty is shown to be very loving and affectionate in relationships. And he does seem to genuinely love all of the girls he dates. Butttt he is obsessed with Jessica, remember the love potion? Now, Morty has definitely improved since then. Buttttttt there is one big glaring problem…

His codependency with Rick. Yep. Now, Rick is Morty's only friend, so of course he's gonna cling, butttt besides the obvious problems with that that will probably be the topic of another overanalysis, I discussed this in another post, so ya might've seen it, but his adventures with Rick takes up the majority of his time. Sooo if he does manage to get a girlfriend, he can't spend too much time with her. And obviously that would bother anyone, anddddd chances are the girl (or boy ig) would want to spend time with him and since they can't, they would probably offer an ultimatum. Andddd since he is codependent, he'll choose Rick.

Thinking about B innocently laying on A’s empty, yet contently silent stomach, the both of them on the couch. Maybe they’re watching a movie, maybe A is playing video games and B is watching, I dunno, but B’s main point of focus isn’t on A’s stomach.

Until..

A grabs a nearby water bottle off the end table, taking a few small sips before going back to focusing on whatever’s on the TV. B thinks nothing of it at first, but he suddenly realizes that he can hear the distinct bubbling and gurgling of the liquid rushing into A’s gut, and before long, he’s no longer focused on the movie/game, but rather the undeniably adorable sounds coming from A’s stomach.

He listens for a bit, biting his lip and anxiously rubbing his thighs together whenever he hears A swallow, knowing that his ears would be blessed with the small gurgling and churning noises that typically followed. A is completely unaware, although notices B’s tense, flustered state, but thinks nothing of it, shifting his position slightly while his stomach immediately reacts, noisily sloshing underneath the weight of B’s head, who’s now as hard as a goddamn rock.

Nonnie... nonnie you have no idea what you just unleashed (op considers time trials the best type of stages in stage races). This is probably a bit more rambly than my earlier answers just cause there are so many thoughts and I am genuinely not sure how much you know adsfgh

Anyway yes you're mostly right with what time trials are, they are usually much shorter stages where instead of all the competing riders starting in one big group (the peloton) they go individually on their own (individual time trial -> ITT) or in their teams (team time trial -> TTT) and they try to set the fastest time possible.

I will skip over TTTs in this since they are rare and I don't know that much about them. For reference the most recent one at Tour de France seems to be in 2019, at any Grand Tour there was actually one last year at Vuelta (Vuelta actually seems to be partial to TTTs anyway from the looks of it lol). Meanwhile there is at least one ITT in each Grand Tour and it is not rare to have multiple of them. This year we have two at Tour de France.

In ITTs, each riders rides for themselves and tries to set the best time possible, just like in quali, except they do not have the help from their teammates. They ride in predetermined order, usually a descending order from the rider with the highest total time to the lowest total time and have only one shot at setting a time.

Re the teammate thing: you see the thing with cycling is that we have made it into a team sport. Somehow. The way most teams act is that the riders ride one after another, with the riders behind catching slipstream from the ones in front so that they use less energy, with the leader in the back so he can use his spare energy at the very end (this behavior of conserving energy through a slipstream is not exclusive to teams and if there is a group of riders in front if the main group (a breakaway) they will most likely do this and it is slightly more complicated because of terrain, stage types, etc but essentially this is the barebones idea).

ITTs essentially neutralize that, and the time each rider set is purely from their own efforts, no slipstreams, no help, no nothing. Which means that if they have an off day it can have catastrophic results (see Tour de France 2020 stage 20. Roglič is not a bad time trialist but he had an off day and it cost him the entire race) and if they have a good day it can be wonderful for the entire race.

Also while it does not directly relate to your question, I need to mention it for the laughs. There are actually specific bikes and helmets for time trials and they... they tend to look rather silly

So yes, they are sort of like quali. However the riders get only one shot at setting the time and the conditions on the course can also change, so doing your best is really important.

And yeah. These races are hard. There is about a month between end of Giro and beginning of Tour. No, no one knows how Pogačar manages. Also hes doing the Olympics this year as well.

Another day another misconception by people who have 0 knowledge in the corporate, marketing, sponsorship world

Warning : Not for fragile snowflakes who will send hate asks when they disagree on something, don't take it literally, ranting with my knowledge as someone in corporate communication and strategic communication (PR/Marketing/Social Media Management/etc) field, unreliable as i'm not Mercedes so take it lightly.

People... still on to these things and saying these shits when...

Mercedes' big valued sponsors such as IWC Schaffhausen, Petronas, SAP, UBS, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Puma, exist as team partners due to Mercedes Benz's connection with the team.

Before some anon jumped again "ohhh ari back at it again on undermining (insert driver name here)". First things first, drivers are one of the factors to attract sponsors indeed. I do not reject that fact. Drivers are the ones who represent the brands and there needs to be a synchronization in terms of value, image, personality, etc between a brand and the drivers as the KOLs. They often play the main role but that's not the "PERIODT!!" here. That's not the case here. The one who plays the main role is the company. Why? Because you can't invest based on one individual. Sponsors invest in the company. The company stays. The individuals can come and go. It'll be risky to just put all the stakes on one person. The company plays the game too. And in this case, the company is the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team which is a subsidiary of the Mercedes Benz. Who wouldn't want to be partners with THE Mercedes Benz? Single brand coverage of the car with the sponsors logo posted on Mercedes Benz socials meant something.

Why does Mercedes play the main role in attracting and retaining sponsors? Because they are MERCEDES. The brand name comes first. And you can't say "Ari is undermining againnn". People out there don't know what the flying fuck Formula One is. But people know Mercedes. An exception is made when it's those smaller teams who clung on to the drivers' value to elevate their team's existence and popularity. But in the case of teams like McLaren, Red Bull, Ferrari, Aston Martin, etc or those with big names in the front of their brand. It's the brands that matter first. And this is the norm. This is not "Ari projecting" "Ari delulu". This is how it is in the industry.

And talking about sponsors leaving after a certain individual leaving, i said it AGAIN and AGAIN. It is NORMAL. Because they might not fit the image of the next individual, why stay? Why make investments if it doesn't fit? It will hurt everyone's image as there won't be any consistency and synchronization within brands. So they left.

But again as what Do Kyungsoo sings in EXO's Love Shot, "people come and people go", sponsors also come and go. With the vast amount of connection Mercedes Benz and its branch companies or subsidiaries have, there is no fear of being left without sponsors. Mercedes generally now? I can name three potential big sponsors to join next year as a prediction. Even if all of my predictions are wrong, there will still be sponsors and companies lining up to partner with THE Mercedes Benz. To partner with the small niche of Mercedes Benz. Remember, Formula One is nothing but a small niche in this HUGE world and in the world of Mercedes Benz ventures. Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team will never go sponsor-less. That should be the least of your worries or bullshit when the team name has Mercedes name on it.

first of all i’ve said this in the tags a couple reblogs back but MY GOD don’t go see this movie if you want to see an action movie or worst a serious movie. this is not what this is. idk about you, but when i’m considering paying 15 bucks to see a movie i kinda want to know what i need to be looking forward to and L&T gave exactly what it said: an unserious, ridiculous, weird, corny ass lovecom that will allow you to turn your brain off for a little less than two hours and have fun

literally they described the plot as “imagine if you put a bunch of kids in the writers room, asked what they wanted to see in a thor movie, and then said yes to everything” and that’s what we got! why are you having a fit on twitter!!!!!!

ANYWAYS besides that it was really fun!! the room i was in was very open to the corny kiwi humor, everyone was laughing the whole time and even when it got cringey it was more funny than annoying and we all had a great time (im thinking of the “fake bad acting” choice in the directing but again i’m familiar with taika’s work so it didn’t bother me but some might find it upsetting)

again some people have HATED the last scene but guys? although i was not expecting it, it actually makes sm sense for thor. all he’s ever wanted was to take care of smn/someone, but the position he was given (crown prince then king) was just too much pressure on him and he just knew too well how utterly unfit he was for the job, and well although he could have grown into it, it was just not in the cards for him with the whole thanos disaster/ensuing depression

with this new development, he gets that AND stops this long cycle of loneliness and self-doubt he’s had going on for literal years. here he can’t doubt that he’s loved and needed, cause he now has a literal child in his custody that very definitely both loves and needs him and he CANNOT doubt that and thats so good for him and his confidence i think. also that single interaction was so fucking cute and natural are you kidding me??????

bonus points for the fact that it also allows him to grieve in a more healthy way because again, he can’t take care of a kid if he can’t take care of himself. no more brusso brothers alcoholism bs we’re in a healthy household now!

I adore Steve and I adore Nancy but idk wtf they think they're doing this season, why are they trying to make us think they're happening again, they're not. They spent the last three seasons with Jonathan and Nancy together all the time and in love, Nancy is my baby but she did Steve dirty ( he fucked up too in S1 but he apologized and then made up for it) and then they never basically interacted again, he really loved her it seems and she didn't feel the same and she dumped him( she didn't even dump him technically) and got together with Jonathan five seconds later and I love her and Jonathan so truly again idk wtf they're doing, if it's just gonna be Steve pining again for no reason I don't understand I'm truly confused I wish we had the last 2 episodes because this is like such a perplexing choice, are they trying to like have my boy Steve die sacrificing himself for her or something? I just don't get it!!!!!

the main thing annoying me about the whole thing is that it was very awkwardly inserted into the plot line. while i DO have my ships in the show, i am much more interested in the mystery element of the show. that’s part of why ep7 was my fave; i really loved el in the lab and finding out the origins of vecna. and i was excited for steve, nancy, and others to play detective and find out about kreel and vecna, but then they’d just randomly add side comments and moments about steve and nancy??

while it didn’t completely take away from that plot line or anything, i just found the general inclusion of it to be weird. they made a whole point in s2, and part of s1 to make nancy fall out of love with steve. and i know it’s possible for two people to get together after they’ve matured, but againnn it’s just a limited amount of eps per season. so i just see it as a time waster to have nancy just go back and forth and create drama with her in this never ending love triangle.

my most major issue with this stuff tho is just the treatment of nancy in general. i think nancy is awesome, but i truly feel like she’s been being used as a vessel for male attention. why can nancy not just… be nancy? why is she always someone’s gf or someone’s ex-gf? even in her convos with robin, they talked so much about her relationships. i still loved their dynamic but i would have loved it more if their convos were centered on more interesting things.
