A Polish volunteer was killed by idf and suddenly Poland is all over israel. It's disgusting how we start caring about what's happening in Palestine only when a white person is killed, specifically "one of our own".
People who aren't white and christian have just as much right to be alive.

Ya know what…
I’m so tired of this crap. I’m tired of being scared and having nightmares. I’m tired of seeing people that I thought were friends post/share antisemitic shit/ propaganda and misinformation that hamas created. I hate having to be cautious about people and their intentions. I don’t like having to make a mental list of people that would help me if something happens- I don’t want to drag them into this shit show…
I hate that most of y’all are just sharing/posting misinformation/propaganda about this war. Y’all stop fucking getting your information from social media/and Hamas run “news sites”. Fun fact Hamas is in control of Gaza and certain news media’s. They can tell the world that Israel is doing so and so and y’all would fucking eat it up (and y’all do that). And don’t get me started on the fucking trauma porn- y’all are so obsessed with seeing those photos and pictures, and here’s the thing- no one knows if they are real/“posed”/ai generated and same with the “stories”… heck y’all even twist up the stories just to make Israel the only bad guy in this war…
Most of y’all don’t even care about Palestine. If y’all did why are you not condemning Hamas and their government? Y’all claim you want this to stop- Israel has offered multiple ceasefire deals but Hamas turns them down because they don’t fucking care. They don’t care that civilians are getting k*lled. Hamas end goal is to exterminate Israelis and Jews. They even admitted it but y’all were just turned a blind eye. Hamas is taking control of the narrative of this war and y’all are fucking falling for it…
I don’t trust anyone who uses Zionist/zionism as a slur, wishes death against Israel and their citizens, calls the IDF the IOF, those who turns a blind eye to the antisemitic shit that y’all are causing/or joining in on, chatting genocidal slogans, the list goes on and on….
You claim that y’all don’t blame Jews- just those “Zionist”. I don’t know how to say it but the majority of Jews are Zionist and a lot of us don’t want this war. (Also most of y’all don’t know what Zionism is and are spreading false information about it). Also stop calling Israelis terrorist. They are not- I’ve said this multiple times, citizens are not their government…
Blaming Jews for this war does make you antisemitic. Harassing Jews/attacking Jews/wishing death upon Jews/ cheering and supporting terrorist organizations that want Jews dead/ all of this plus more doesn’t help Palestine. But it does make you a raging antisemitic asshat. This is why we Jews are fucking scared and terrified. History is starting to repeat itself and y’all are contributing to it. Y’all wanna know why Jews are wanting to leave their home countries- because we don’t feel safe because of this shit that is happening…
I could keep going but I’ll stop. This is just me venting out my frustrations. I’m so frustrated that y’all are doing this. I’m tired and scared. If y’all don’t like this- I don’t give a damn. I said what i said. Just know that if y’all start spitting out antisemitic shit on this post- I will call you out and block you…
Am yisrael chai ✡️
And to those who lost people in this war and to those who were killed just because they were Jewish- May your memory be a blessing.

Just a few examples of how wonderful (read: terrifying) it can be to be outwardly Jewish on the internet. I blocked everyone who wrote those but I just thought I'd share some examples of "oh yeah hatred of Israel does actually result in blatant antisemitism".
Those on the "pro-Palestine" side (different from pro-Hamas, being pro-Palestine means not agreeing with or distributing pro-Hamas propaganda, which most of y'all seem incapable of doing), clean up your movement.
What worries me is that this is an escalation. These past two or three days are the first time I've received such absolutely unmasked antisemitic comments and asks. (I've gotten antisemitic stuff before, and a lot of it, but this is just completely unhidden.)
Antisemitism is actively getting worse.
Open your eyes.

Antisemites aren't allowed to enjoy content or characters created by Jewish people. They're also not allowed to enjoy Jewish characters either. Sorry, those are the rules! 🤷🏽‍♀️

I wrote a very salty monologue about antisemitism and the idea of a ‘good Jew’ if you want to read it it’s under the cut. Bigots dni
I’m a Good Jew
I’m a good Jew. I’m broke, so I can’t control the banks. I’m so broke that I can’t put a menorah in my window because I can’t afford to fix the window.
Im a good Jew. I tell kids to ask Santa for gifts. I don’t have any decorations on my house, and I take out the Hanukkah bush when non-Jewish guests come over.
I’m a good Jew. I go to my brother in law’s Christmas party where every year without fail his mother brings a casserole that she swears doesn’t have bacon in it. It always does.
I’m a good Jew, yet people still laugh at my nose. They tell me I shouldn’t speak Yiddish because I sound like a bad Jew. They make me explain my stance on conflicts I wasn’t even alive to witness the beginning of.
I’m tired of being a good Jew, because it means nothing. There’s still a swastika on the wall of my synagogue. There’s still death threats in my DM’s. You praise me for looking, sounding, and acting like a “good Jew”, but it’s obvious you still think the only good Jew is a dead Jew.

True Judaism champions tikkun olam and tzedek and shalom.
Tikkun olam: repair the world
Tzedek: social justice
Shalom: peace
Yes, Free Palestine. No, being Jewish is not the same as being Zionist. Right now Jews across the world do need your support as these two are conflated and used to fan the flames of already rising anti-Semitism. You can aid Palestine without being anti-Semitic. You can support Palestine without supporting Hamas (who, just as we condemn the actions of Israel, we must remember are not good guys either and they employ hate and violence).
I advocate for Palestine. I believe in the good of Judaism.
All these things are true at once.

Reminder that while war is doomed to be accompanied by tragedy, the loss is still tragic.
I mourn every Israeli who was killed
I mourn every Israeli who was kidnapped
I mourn every Israeli the was r@ped
I mourn every Israeli who lived and lives in fear
I mourn every Israeli who lost someone close to them.
I mourn every innocent Palestinian who was killed.
I mourn every innocent Palestinian who did not get the help they needed.
I mourn every Palestinian who felt unsafe and still does.
I mourn every Palestinian who lost a loved one.
I mourn every Jew who lost the feeling of safety due to a rise in antisemitism
I mourn every Arab who lost the feeling of safety due to a rise in Islamophobia.
I mourn every loss that came from this war, and is yet to come. Whether they were inevitable or unnecessary, they were a loss.
I mourn each one deeply.
If you see someone mourning online, do not comment harsh or contradictory comments. No matter the reason the loss is tragic, and on either side denying it does no good.
May the memory of all innocent people be a blessing.
You needn’t be on my side for me to mourn for you.

So uh… to the “pro-Palestine” crowd
- harassing random jews on the streets (and online) isn’t going to help Palestinians
- swarming and blockading college campus buildings (and hospitals) and chanting genocidal slogans at jews isn’t going to help Palestinians
- defacing synagogues and jewish owned stores isn’t going to help Palestinians
- displaying antisemitic signs and waving nazi flags isn’t going to help Palestinians
- chanting for intifada isn’t going to help Palestinians (Hamas would love that though)
- spreading Hamas propaganda isn’t going to help Palestinians
This doesn’t help Palestinians- but it sure does help Hamas who’s goal is to wipe out Israel and all jews. Also Hamas could care less for Palestinians- why do you think they are being used as human shields???
Doing all of these things makes you antisemitic (some of y’all were probably already antisemitic, and is using the I/P conflict to go fully unmasked). You doing this is causing harm to so many people. And to be honest- doing this shit shows that you actually don’t care for Palestine. In fact you are using this conflict to go fully unmask and be raging antisemitic little asshats.
Instead of doing something that could help those who are affected by this war, you are harassing jews, defacing synagogues, and calling for intifadas. Why is that? (I know the answer- but humor me). Why is this acceptable? How does harassing and harming jews help Palestine? And how does supporting Hamas (a terrorist organization) help Palestine?
Also I may get hate for this but I don’t care: anti Zionism is antisemitism. The term anti Zionist was created during the soviet era by one of the soviet leaders. The Soviet Union hated jews and wanted to stamp them all out. One of the ways that they “succeeded” was “persuading” jews that their culture and religion was dirty. That they- the jews should be ashamed of their “Jewishness”. And that was how anti Zionism came to be.
I said what I said. If you don’t like it then maybe you have some thinking to do.
Also as another fucking reminder:
Stop fucking spreading vile antisemitic shit (and stop harassing Israel citizens) !!! This includes:
- blood libels
- organs harvesting
- holocaust denial
- “hitler was right”
- “gas the jews”
- lizard people
- “jews are rats”
- “jews are rich”
- “jews control the media”
- “jews are landlords”
- the majority of conspiracy theories
- Zionist occupied government
- Zionism is racism
- stop fucking reading protocols of the elders of Zion
- “from the river to the sea…” is a genocidal chant.
- stop calling Israel a “terrorist” state and stop saying that all Israelis are terrorist (people are not their fucking government)
(Just to list a few)
I said what I said and if you don’t like it- the doors over there.
Am yisrael chai! ✡️

As someone who's primary language is English and doesn't really speak much else besides five different languages and counting of computer, if I'm looking for an as faithful as possible way to read through all of the Judaic religions religious texts given my lingual deficiency in Hebrew, where would I go? Is that even possible? And is this something as a non-jew I am able to do?
Because I know anti-Semites do bait well meaning Jews into pointless arguments and act interested for other cruel purposes (usually to gain trust to later exploit), I'll explain why I'm asking: If you don't follow me, missed the post, or just don't know, my family tree has Nazi's. Plural. Two that anyone can publicly look up if you know my dead lastname or you'll see if you just go through the registry of everyone the Military issued one to during WWII. Now I of course know their beliefs were wrong, terrible, and just disgusting. And as much as my father, my grandparents on my fathers side, and my great grandmother did their best to turn the family away from those kinds of ideals it's obvious that they didn't quite go far enough. With the little exposure I've had to the Jewish beliefs and culture, it's only highlighted the casual Anti-Semitism throughout my life growing up. And you can't fight back against something if you don't know what you're fighting for. Additionally, I've seen the world turn face, more than it already was, against Jewish people. The ongoing conflict with Isreal and Hamas and innocent Jews and Palestinians being caught in the crossfire of an ongoing genocide gone bloody certainly isn't helping, but much of the Anti-Semitic mentality was already there. It's just being said out loud now. And I'm seeing a lot of my great grandfather and his 'Nazi way of thinking' (for lack of a better way to describe it) being more and more commonplace. I can point to all the beliefs the Nazi's had and point out why they were wrong, but I don't know enough about Judaism or Jewish customs to really know how wrong. In the end, I want to do better. I want to learn, because I'm sure there's still things I'm not seeing. And I don't trust half the websites out there because I've been made aware that there's a certain group deliberately disguising itself as Jewish despite being Christian to be a dick (for lack of a better term ... maybe 'cunt' would have also worked? Whichever is harsher really.).
So ... any help is appreciated.
Oh, and just so it's clear: I'll always fight for Jews. This is me asking to be better. I want to be able to understand when a Jewish voice is speaking up to help platform their voice where I can, or when it's someone being harmful and their words are just disguised hate.

Yesterday, some of my friends from Chabad went around and put up a bunch of hostage posters.
They put them all around campus, and I didn't even know.
Because already by this morning, the posters were gone. Taken down. By terrorist supporters who somehow find it offensive to spread awareness about people being held hostage.
Who find it offensive that they are forced to look the crimes of Hamas in the eye.
And then a few minutes ago, as we were tabling for Chabad, one of our people came and showed us that he found one of the posters, obviously ripped off.
Tumblr media
This is hate. There is no other way to put it, and there is no justification for it.
This is antisemitism.
How are we, Jewish students, supposed to feel safe? Knowing that our peers place so little value on Jewish lives, to the point of ripping down posters of hostages?

Quick little rant. The people who deflate the free palestine movement by asking them to condemn every single antisemitic thing that happens in the world drives me insane.
it makes it harder to recognize and address the actual real and increasing problem of antisemitism, because of mountains and mountains of people who cry antisemitism when really it’s just Palestinians daring to ask that they not be mass murdered.
it’s so obvious that people who use the free palestine movement as an excuse to harass Jewish people are just assholes that are attaching themselves to what’s convenient. We don’t ask the feminist movement to stop what they’re doing and condemn every transphobic dad that wanders up to a mic at a school board meeting because the dad claims they care about “protecting women.” We didn’t ask the pro science/covid restriction crowd to stop working on the LITERAL LIFE SAVING VACCINES AND OTHER HEALTH POLICIES because some racist decided to beat up an Asian person because it would “protect people from covid” we know that hateful people will use completely backwards and ridiculous excuses to justify their own hate.
the pro palestine movement HAS condemned antisemitism, some of it’s loudest and most respected voices are Jewish people, and it does it’s best to be a welcoming space for all. I am convinced there is no amount of condemning antisemitism that the pro palestine movement could do that would shake the idea in some peoples minds that to be pro Palestinian is to be antisemitic. And that is 100% the fault of those people’s biases and 100% NOT the fault of the free palestine movement.
Thank you and Chag Sameach
