Weee more hermitgals precure au brainstorming <3
Stress: finding love and joy even in the most mundane of activities, it's the little things: a warm cup of floral tea, the flap of a butterfly's wings, the way light shines through crystals, the scratchy texture of a picnic blanket. Maybe not everything inspires creativity, but anything can.
Cure Allium? It's Stress' favourite Minecraft flower, and it can represent the decorative items of Minecraft— may be "worthless" in the sense of mechanics, but they breathe life into the game. (and the universe said you are stronger than you know)
False: the everchanging flow of creativity, water and ice and wind and snow, they're made from the same thing but they fill up space differently, big shapes and fluids, knowing how to manipulate elements and fill in empty places.
Cure Prismarine? Cure Diamond? (I know Cure Diamond already exists but I like her a lot and her song that goes "this heart is an unbreakable diamond heart, I cannot get hurt" has such a clutch over me. I am a Cure Diamond defender.) This represents the "elements" (minerals?) of Minecraft and how they can be modified for different needs. (and the universe said everything you need is within you)
Cleo: noticing all the little details that make people people, the creativity of connecting unrelated items to form a coherent picture, finding life in the undead.
Cure Blaze? I suppose Cleo is inevitably linked to fire because of their hair and theme colour. I think Blazes aren't an undead mob (?) but they're from the Nether and that's the representative of hell and monsters and undead and fire so... close enough. (and the universe said you are not separate from every other thing)
Pearl: finding coherence in the jagged mass of the alien darkness, weird and wacky but harmonious, moonlight shining through shadows, the creativity of clashing contrasting colours and elements together but creating beauty out of it, constantly pushing the limits and challenging yourself.
Cure Moon. I think that's the best choice given her yellow scheme. Her outfit is also a bit purple-y for the shadows and a bit rainbow-y for the pearlescent part. Her villain name is probably something like Lunar or Eclipse. This represents the End / the Void dimension of Minecraft, a place that seems dangerous but you can find wacky yet beautiful things in it. (and the universe said the light you seek is within you)
Gem: the whimsy and wonderful world of fantasy, the creativity of merging wild nature and livable places, beauty and elegance without missing a hint of playfulness, creating magical worlds from epic castles to cute hideouts.
Not really sure honestly? She has a nature / Overworld theme but it might overlap with Stress. I mean I'm not naming her Cure Birch. Or I might actually do it. For the birch forest bit. This broadly represents the Overworld, all the biomes and trees and plants. (and the universe said you have played the game well)
Ren: the improv storyteller, subtly connecting people and things together, the sincerity and shamelessness of being immersed into creating art (and the universe said you are not alone)
Iskall: the audacity to be brave and bold, daring to dream, daring to create, persevering, falling down and getting up and trying again, learning the rhythm of the slow gears that make the world turn, determined to keep moving forward but still goofy enough to enjoy the small moments of life (and the universe said the darkness you fight is within you)
And all of them together, their powers combined:

It will have to get a good grade in being easy on the eyes though, to stay. BIGGEST reason loadbearing Alfonse phone bg was a mainstay was bc the nighttime pallette on that one FEH comic panel was unexpectedly autism-friendly as a nice bonus LMFAO

I think I might be having emotional flashbacks#and I'm not like... upset at the moment? but I feel like in a couple of hours I'm gonna be hit with emotions I don't want to deal with#there's a very specific feeling that I can't seem to describe in any normal way which might mean I need to write poetry about it instead#something about summer evenings seems to fuck us up sometimes and it's just occurred to me that I think we write more poems in summer#and I only just noticed this pattern because I think we got to the start of summer last year#and started writing poems about how much the summer fucks us up#the thing is I like summer and I've been looking forward to it but it also comes with this kind of weird nostalgic feeling#and it ends up being really bittersweet#it's like that quote or post or whatever about August giving you some of the most beautiful but bittersweet moments of your life#every so often I'm like ''okay I say we get summer depression and winter depression but we're depressed all the time#so are we really getting special kinds of depression in summer and winter?'' and then I get to like June and November#and I'm like ''oh okay yeah no this is a different feeling to the background level of depression we have''#this fucks us up in new and exciting ways that I don't want to fucking deal with but will do anyway because I don't have a choice

love how there are pretentious video essays that just repeat the book and meander and ramble about house of leaves. it's what zampanó would have wanted. it is not, however, what I want
#anyway i finished the main portion of the book#all i have left is the poems and a few other small things i think? ive read pelafinas letters#im thinking of getting the full book of her letters#but also they severely messed with my head so we'll see#i will say. i do get why ppl say the book is pretentious and frustrating#there was a lot of stuff where i couldnt tell if it was supposed to be satire or if it was genuinely just that dense and pretentious#and a lot of the codes were rly obtuse imo?#like... idk. some of them were super obvious like the sos stuff or pelafina outright saying what to do#but others like. man how am i supposed to know johnny waxing poetic about pussy was coded#i mean that one is also pointed out though much later but i know i missed a lot just like it that werent pointed out#and ive heard theres a lot of shit where the message you get is just danielewski????? which gonna be real. kinda dumb.#but i did also really enjoy the book#there was a lot of stuff in it that was just so compelling or poignant or whatever other word#the minotaur stuff is good (ofc id say that though i love me some minotaur themes)#also a lot of the scenes with johnny just...... christ#idk how ppl say to skip them hes so fascinating#yeah i could do with him talking about his possibly hallucinated sex life a bit less but also his story is just plain interesting#i still think about the part where the girl he was talking to runs over a dog they had picked up........ it was fucking chilling#and his hallucinations of dying are so descriptive in just the right way to get under my skin#the uncertainty with him and his family..... did pelafina try to kill him? did his father just send her away for being a bit too overbearing#over an accident? was there something else? what was the deal with his foster family? with lude? gdansk man and kyrie?#how did it get published? who are the editors? why did the band know of the book before it should have been published?#why does his journal section end with a story from a man he admits to making up completely? the doctor from seattle doesnt exist#the chronological end is more hopeful with him saying things will be okay but then he puts a previous entry after that?#i think the burning of the book parallels the story nicely#johnny said his piece; he nurtured the book as much as he could; but it was hurting him and he had to give up on it#idk!#this book does make me feel a lil dumb ngl

I won the fucking. poetry out loud thing in my class.
#is this a thing other people do#well yeah it has to be it goes to a state wide thing#but if theres people who dont know what im talking about#we have to memorize a poem (at least 15 lines) qnd recite it to the class word for word#i got a perfect score#meaning i didnt miss a single word (not even. for example. saying it instead of its)#and i recited my poem with the right pauses and emotion#post posting#i was fucking shitting myself up there but i did good#o have to go to the school wide competition now though grr#for school wide we have to memorize a poem pre 20th century un front of a bunch of english classes in the auditorium#technically i can opt out and it wont be that big of a deal cause two other people in ny clas also git perfect scores#which is a big deal cause some classes dont even have one#and end up going based on who got the highest#i kinda want to do it though idk#well no i dont reall want to do that bad#i just think it might be a good idea???#idk

I updated the inventory quantity in each listing to accurately reflect how many of each print is left

I can understand perfectly well when others do it. but I try and communication fails.#what i just drew feels like a sentence where I couldn't remember the word for something so I just kept trying but never hit on it#like when you try to write a poem to express something but it just comes out stilted and inauthentic.#probably mostly just my lack of technical skill lmao. turns out you can't just expect to draw well after not drawing like at all ever#I caught myself leaning towards the more catholic imagery but the prompt i was working off of was that post about not using catholic image#so I kinda went with animalistic hands and no wings because you know baptists fucking love revelations and talking about the beast#lmao I just realized that the way the flag fades out and the body being blue it gives the picture trans flag colors#that's... incredibly ironic.
