Nice to meet you! I'm GozyuTyranno and Bakugami Ryugi's Kanda Masakazu. When I was little, I watched Super Sentai's like "Seiju Sentai Gingaman," had a variety of the toys purchased for me, and even made some myself out of paper. When I'm assigned to carry a weapon during filming, I feel that I've actually become a hero. This production will feature previous Reds, so I'm able to touch their weapons, and since Fire Candle's Bon-san is from the same generation as me, we'll both freak out while saying, "It's the real thing!" (laughs).

Bakugami is a devout follower of Tega Sword-sama. I play the role while trying to make his character stand out as much as possible, and to be conscious of bringing out his cuteness. The first time I transformed, I was anxious as I thought, "I wonder if it'll turn out cool…" (laughs). When I was shown the footage without CG and sound effects, I was surprised at how bland it was. However, when I saw the completed video, it looked super cool. Now, I'm doing it with confidence and determination.

My favorite scene is when Bakugami appears while carrying the piano (episode 2). In fact, when I received the script, I was suddenly told, "You're going to carry a piano and sing." I knew I was bad at singing, but like, I had never carried a piano before? (laughs). It was surprising, but the comedic factor was strong enough to make it enjoyable.

From episode 8 onwards, there'll also be episodes focusing on Bakugami. What happened in the past, and why did he start worshipping Tega Sword-sama?…the foreshadowing that's been placed so far will be brought to light, so make sure you pay attention! And then, since Gozyuger is a story where each member strives to become Number One, I hope that you'll enjoy picking out your favorite character!

Q: In relation to Number One Sentai, what are you most into these days?

A: I've watched tons of films up to now, but recently, my desire to appreciate foreign films in particular has increased. A senior staff member in their 60s who was on set gave me dozens of film recommendations. I'm currently addicted to watching them in sequential order!

Number One Shot!!: Here's an off shot photo from episode 6! Playing house and playing the role of a mother for the first time in my life left a very strong impression on me! All of the other members were trying to be considerate when they told me that it "suits me," but I definitely don't think that's true! Everyone, what are your thoughts? _

GavvPare! Vol.16 (Chinen Hidekazu)

-The scene in episode 28 was an unscripted direction-

If we could go back abit, I'd like to give you some backstory for the scene in episode 28, where Hanto confronts Suga when he's Kamen Rider Bake. To be honest, we did countless takes for that scene, but Yusuke-kun never once lost his concentration, as he continuously put his whole heart into it. As Shouma, I wasn't supposed to shed tears, but I was so moved by Yusuke-kun's passion and energy, that I myself cried uncontrollably. I have no doubt that it must've been very difficult for him, but I think this scene symbolizes the awakening of Hanto and Valen. As Shouma also puts his life on the line to protect Hanto, I hope that you were able to feel the connection between their hearts, where they're able to understand each other without having to say many words.

Also, for the scene after the fight where Hanto says "I like you," I knew that they both liked each other as friends, but I was so happy to hear Hanto, who's usually a tsundere, express his mutual love along with his gratitude, that I couldn't help but grin (laughs). To be honest, the script didn't include the piggyback or the feeding of gummies like it did in the broadcast. However, Director Sugihara decided to include that direction on the spot. It was slightly embarrassing, but I think it helped turn that scene into a heartwarming one.

And then, starting from episode 29, we entered a new chapter and a new phase. Up to this point, the plot has been about Stomach Inc and the Granutes versus Shouma and his friends, but the story completely changed when Jiip brought Lizel along with him. When Lizel made her entrance, her storm like momentum stirred up the story, and it made me think, "An intense character has appeared…!" (laughs). I'm sure that even after episode 30, Lizel will continue to go on a rampage, and the plot will exceed everyone's expectations more than it did before. Be sure to keep an eye on Lizel, as well as Jiip's movements!

Q: When you hear "Spring," What comes to mind?

A: It's the film "Kimi ni Todoke." It's a love story that carefully depicts the feelings of falling in love with someone, so It's a film that I love. In the film, the main character and heroine meet during the Spring season. There are also depictions of cherry blossoms falling, so I can feel Spring just by watching it. There are many things I admire about it that make me think, "I wish I could've lived a school life like this," and it makes me want to take on a production like "Kimi ni Todoke" someday!

Off Shot: These two are basketball novices compared to Lakian, who's an experienced player. Within the script read the words, "A heated basketball game." Once on site, they immediately started practicing intensely in order to highlight their cool shooting skills! However, filming ended without either making even a single "decent" shot. The highlight of their intense practice will have to wait for the time being.

I unfortunately can't find the source but there was this one interview where Suguru's VA says that the director specifically instructed him to say 'Satoru' as if he was a wife calling for their husband..yeah.. that's normal

In the jjk s2 guide book--that also had the drawings of Suguru shown earlier--it is revealed that Suguru sees Satoru as a sort of talisman that will protect him, hence why he wears a Gojo-kesa when he's older. Satoru sees Suguru as a moral compass, which is actually shown in the anime; when Gojo is holding Riko's dead body, he asks Suguru if he should kill everyone, basing his decisions off of what Suguru says.

Also just a fun fact: Gege is a total fudanshi (meaning he likes BL) and has taken inspiration from literal gay mangas to create JJK.

In conclusion, satosugu has been totally winning and it's a fire ship

this is AKUTA hes the one thats my favorite by just a little bit!!!! he shares my birthday (may 13) and im so honored!!! akuta really loves movies and he wants to be the galaxys greatest movie director ever and hes the GLUE that holds day2 together as their leader! hes really hyper and hes always up to some fucking shit but has like an infectious kind of cheerfulness to him. and even though he isnt necessarily the brightest (😭😭😭) he makes up for all of it in heart and love for his friends!! when he puts his mind to something hes unbeatable!!! when he thinks too hard he gets a nosebleed cuz his. his body isnt used to thinking LMFAOOOO😭😭😭 every friday he goes around the company dorms asking who wants to join in the weekly movie night with him and he really likes ghibli films!!

this is KIROKU hes an artist and hes really shy and socially anxious but in day2 he says he feels like his ribs have room to expand and inflate😭🩷 his art is really unique and its been described as “creepy” throughout the story but like in a good way because he really thinks outside the box when hes drawing!!!! he has five finger puppet friends that he talks to and at first he hid them from everyone else because he was scared of rejection but when he introduced them to the rest of the unit they all accepted them and it made him really happy😭😭😭😭 as the story progresses he talks more and more after being basically silent at the start because he grows to be more comfortable with everyone😭😭😭🩷🩷🩷🩷

this is NANAKI hes the biggest loser of them all and i say that with so much love in my heart hes a hopeless romantic who gets crushes in like 0.5 seconds flat LOL. hes an anonymous music artist online under the name of unlove and he actually is like a pretty big hit!!! he canonically composed all of the songs in-game which is pretty cool like he has a LOT of fans… unlove is a huge indie hit online…. he feels all of his crushes so strongly that theres a point in the story where after he gets a new one he literally cannot write songs that arent love songs for a bit😭😭😭😭 hes really gentle with kiroku and laughs at akutas shit a lot and hes always in an argument with ushio 😭😭 also he met akuta in kindergarten so they go waaaayy back!!

this is MUNEUJI he appears the most “normal” in the unit but dont let that fool you hes just hiding it LMFAO. hes a really well mannered and polite little guy and hes always levelheaded and good at calming the unit down when they get too excited ^_^ he has a great interest in astronomy as well as TRAINS. he really likes trains. he also is skilled in martial arts and he has actually literally thrown ushio on the ground several times and ushio is just used to this because theyre childhood friends ^_^ usually this kind of character would quietly disapprove of the kind of bullshit that akuta gets up to on a daily basis but i really appreciate how muneuji actually doesnt ever do this. he actually tends to just happily go along with akuta which i find really cute😭😭😭

Thanks for tagging me in, @lurkingshan! This week on Twilight Out of Focus we followed Giichi, the opinionated second year director, and Jin, the third year club president, as they navigate being antagonists by day and BL fudanshi roommates by night. Watching Giichi agonize over which BL manga to give Jin as a starting point was deeply relatable. I admit I missed Mao and Hisashi this week, but I enjoyed the parallels in the stories (including how BL plays a pivotal part in making them aware of their feelings). I'm looking forward to finding out more about what makes Giichi hate Jin's films so much, and what makes Jin so afraid of showing his real personality to anyone around him. With both of these characters so passionate about film, they'll need to be able to get past their inability to discuss it without fighting if they're going to last.

My cup runneth over with excellent jql, and we just got confirmation that Cosmetic Playlover will be joining the line up next week. All but one of these are on Gaga; I highly recommend picking them up!

Takara's Treasure

I really love this unassuming little show and how gently it's advancing this relationship. This week reinforced that Taishin is the only one who really sees Takara beyond his popular hot guy reputation. He can tell he is struggling and he notices when he is overcome by sadness. Their adventure helping the tiny child find his way home was a nice way for them to bond and see each other's good qualities, and also to prompt some reflection from Takara about his own relationship with his mother. I am still dying to know more about what happened there.

I Hear the Sunspot

Most of this episode had me chewing glass; I loved every single minute of their camping trip. Seeing Kohei's walls coming down was so rewarding, and I was relieved when he finally stopped holding back and let himself smile. Taichi's ongoing struggle with understanding what he feels for Kohei was also super compelling, and I liked that Kohei got to express some frustration at his obliviousness. He flirts all the time without seeming to realize he's doing it, both with Kohei and with other people, and it's hard for Kohei to hold back when his confession is already laying there between them. Taichi seemed to finally be putting some things together when he confessed that he doesn't hate Kohei's attention. And because I loved all of that so much, it was a bit of a womp womp to then do a time skip only to introduce a new third party to inspire jealousy and set them right back where they were last week. It feels like wheel spinning, so I do hope we'll be moving through that quickly.

Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko

Besties, I AM PISSED OFF. I cannot believe the behavior of the people around Hiroko this week, and I am ready to fight them on her behalf. Let me just say this real clearly: Hiroko does not owe anyone the truth about her sexuality, and if she doesn't want to be out at work, that is her choice and nobody else's goddamn business. Risa is off the best girl list forever after the shit she pulled today. Digging for gossip and outing Hiroko only so she could criticize her to try to sway Ayaka was some ugly shit, and I will not be forgetting it. And I am also side-eyeing Hiroko's "friends" at the bar, who saw Hiroko panic when she ran into those two, heard them call her senpai, and still spilled all her secrets when Risa came poking around (though I appreciate that at least Mama quickly realized they'd fucked up and apologized). I am sad that Hiroko doesn't actually have anyone on her side, and it's clear from the brief flashbacks we keep seeing that she has been betrayed in the past. I am curious to see where they go with Ayaka's quest from here, because continuing to push Hiroko when she's drawn a firm boundary is not the move. Something in the dynamic will need to shift.

Mr. Mitsuya's Planned Feeding

This shoooooooooow. I'm obsessed. Episode 2 is now available on @isaksbestpillow's blog. This week we got more hints about Mitsuya's past and other relationships (just how many boyfriends do you have, sir?), met my new favorite Shige, and learned about Ishida's past baseball career and why he's still feeling a little lost trying to establish himself in a new field. I loved following Mitsuya and Ishida on their long day together; their chemistry feels so natural and the whole sequence with Mitsuya making the tenshinhan was excellent. I was also super excited that Ishida has figured himself out quickly and knows he's crushing on Mitsuya. He's going to need that awareness because he appears to have a lot of competition.

❣️ The Warp Effect - I’m not gonna lie I knew exactly that this show would have me in a chokehold from the moment they released the pilot trailer and I was right lmao. It’s phenomenal. It’s fun, it’s chaos, it’s spicy. exactly the kind of anarchy I was craving jdhfgk. New is doing a very good job at portraying Alex, which is surprising because he was part of the reason I was hesitant about the show as I’m not his biggest fan. But I’m so fond of Alex and also him and Fah as Jean have an A+ chemistry. Army is my bitch lmao I love him so much and the 3 of them contribute a great deal to the vibe that makes the show work. The side couples are also very interesting and mostly props to Sing for giving his all in this type of plot because that shit requires some courage lmao. It’s a textbook Jojo series and his signature way of not beating around the bush is very visible here. Some people said they find the hyper-focus on the sexual themes juvenile but I disagree. The exaggeration of the plot is a great way of pointing a finger at these themes and breaking a stigma; especially at GMMTV. I love it. 10/10 so far. 

👎🏻 Remember Me - This show has taken a very disappointing turn about halfway through. The stories all had a very sweet and interesting start and I liked the slow pacing at first but now it’s just draggy and annoying. Everything has become 80% slower and the scenes are repetitive and tedious. At this point I'm only watching the GunGolf story and even that has parts that I can’t help but skip. Their breakup was very strange and unnecessary to me and I have no idea how they plan to fix it in the remaining 2 episodes. What a shame. 3/10.

How are all the characters so hot? What ingredients did the mad scientists put into them?

Jokes aside, our character designers have done an excellent job building up on the work of our technical experts! In particular:

@brokemycrown set a super high first bar as Git and GitHub's designer, as well as our official sluttification consultant "art director".

@mappapapa made all grandpafuckers salivate with the excellent work on Terminal (the unrivaled king of being thirsted over in tags).

@ymkse just came in and blew away all our expectations out of the waters with the HTML and CSS designs.

@sgt-spank swooped in like a hero to put the final bow on our cast with ARIA.

So I don’t know if you’ve heard or have talked about this one, but there was this new series that came out on Gaga back in December called “Accomplishment of Fudanshi Bartender”. It’s only two episodes long and I wouldn’t consider it BL, but it’s a BL parody about a bartender that (badly) hides the fact that he’s a fundanshi that makes BL about his customers. I also learned a lot about bar drinks that I didn’t think I’d learn from this show. There are no couples by the end of it, but it’s kind of a fun watch (as someone who’s still not versed on yaoi tropes like myself, at least). Also, I didn’t know this before watching it, but the actor that plays Director Kurosawa in Ossan’s Love cameos as a friend of the bar owner.

I started watching it but then couldn't do it, too cringe. Normally I like the Japanese parody work but this one, I gave it a pass just a few eps in.

The thing is that in Japan something like BL is not just any story with gay male characters. BL is a genre, meaning is about marketing and as such has certain tropes associated with it. It is not intented to be a realistic representation of real mlm experiences, it mean to cater to the kinds of people that like BL, that is fujoshi (and fudanshi) and while not all of them are straight, a lot are. This has its roots in female mangake breaking conventions about what girls should be reading about when this kind of thing was far more rigid, but if the current genre is problematic is not for me to say.

Something like Yuri!!! on ICE is groundbreaking because it revolves around a gay romance while not being marketed as a BL. This is why the director had such a hard time with something like the kiss scene, when other series that are BL proper have no problem with it.

Now something like SK8 the Infinity is neither of these things. SK8 is certainly meant to have ship-able male characters with a lot of wink wink nudge nudge without ever delivering an actual gay romance with its main characters. This way they can appeal to both fujoshi and yumejoshi (self-shippers) and have both groups buy merch of their favorite characters (something like Free! also benefits from not commiting to a romance in that a single character can be shipped multiple ways and they won't alienate say Makoto/Haruka shippers by making Rin/Haruka explicit).

I've seen this described as queer-baiting, which is not because queer-baiting is an anglo term for a marketing technique in anglo audiences. If anything this is fujoshi-bait, except not quite. Again is all about marketing, SK8 is not marketed as a BL, fujoshis are aware that they're only going to get their chain yanked

This was written for Obey Me bingo prompts by @violin-and-schoolwork - swapping anime recs with Levi!

 “You MUST watch this.” Leviathan pushed the DVD box into Ren’s hands. “I can’t believe you haven’t watched it  yet!”

“Levi…” Ren wasn’t really sure if he wanted to bring the demon down. Not with all these sparkles and stars flying around whenever Leviathan was infodumping on his favourite shows. But they’ve been swapping the reviews and recommendations for  weeks and Ren couldn’t take all those magical girls and panty shots anymore and Leviathan apparently wanted to convert him to his moe girls religion. Which was impossible as Ren had zero interest in girls, be it 2D or 3D.

He stared at the DVD in his hands for a good moment, before he finally sighed and shook his head.

“I’d love to, but it’s the twentieth show about magical girls you’ve lent me…”

The stars and sparkles disappeared, replaced with almost touchable air of disapproval and judgement. Here we go again. Ren sighed again.

“Of course a normie like you wouldn’t appreciate this masterpiece.”

Ren bit his tongue not to spill what he’d been doing for the last few weeks. Leviathan would very likely agree it wasn’t a normie activity, but Ren had serious doubts regarding admitting to anyone he’d  been marathoning his BL and hard yaoi collection. And regarding the fact that the collection was enough to keep him occupied for a week.

“Anyway, what about the movie?”, he tried to shake off the feeling of anxiety about his true hobbies. “How did you like it?”

“Not… really my taste.” Leviathan shrugged. “I don’t watch things with such a slow pace…”

“Guessed that much,” Ren tried to hide his disappointment, but probably very ineffectively. Otherwise Leviathan wouldn’t panic.

“But it wasn’t t-that bad!,” he stuttered. “It was good! Actually very good! I liked it!”

“No need to pretend, Levi.” Ren snickered at this reaction. “Not everyone has the same taste, right? Don’t worry about it.”

“As if I’d worry!” Leviathan huffed. “And I’m… not pretending. I actually… wanted to ask if you have more of this director.” Ren raised his eyebrows. “Everyone needs a change of pace sometimes! I might as well give it a try. Not because it’s your favourite.”

“Yeah. Right.” He nodded with a solemn expression, not buying it at all.

“So for next time, I’ll check out the newest movie. Now! I’ll lend you that DVD.” Leviathan pushed the box with probably at least four DVDs into Ren’s hands. A very pink box, with lots of fluttering skirts on the cover.

“Spare meee,” Ren groaned. “Not another magical girls show…”

“You just don’t know what’s good.” The demon huffed again, offended. “I guess it is a waste to give you any good show to watch.”

“You said it yourself, everyone needs a change of pace, right? How about that battle shounen series on this shelf?” Ren pointed to the complete collection of world’s longest anime ever, trying to suck up the anger boiling in his veins.

“You want to watch that?”

“Yeah, piqued  my interest! You like it, right?” He tried to sound chirpy as usual and just let the anger die down. But it was a stupid question, if Leviathan didn’t like it, he wouldn’t have a whole shelf with all released seasons. But he somehow didn’t seem convinced. “How about that?”

“Well, there’s no helping it,” Levi sighed and shook his head. “I’ll lend you that one. But what did I expect. Normies have normie tastes and nothing can be done…”

“Normie this, normie that!” Ren spit the words out before he managed to bite his tongue and swallow them again, like he’d been  since the beginning of their anime exchange. “I’m NOT a normie!”

But he wasn’t taking it back. He was so not going to take it back, not again. He’d had more than enough of that.

Leviathan just watched the outburst, shocked – after all he never had a chance to see any human furious, and especially not this always perky human. He just stayed silent and didn’t say anything for a long second. For a second – before blowing up too.

“Totally not, absolutely not, yeah right! I see a normie, I call it a normie!”

“Then your eyes tricked you!” Ren grabbed the front of the demon’s shirt as he shouted to his face. “I’ll have you informed that I’m the only person in the human world who marathoned every! single! BL anime! ever! produced and did it TWICE! And since last week I’m going for a THIRD record!

“You dare to challenge me?” Leviathan slapped his hand away, just to do the same. “Want to beat me at my own game?,” he hissed, his face so close their noses were almost touching. “Bring it on!”

“You so sure about it?”

“…”

“…”

“Wait. BL?”

And suddenly Ren realised he’d just spilled his most hidden secret.

And suddenly Leviathan realised he was actually doing a pretty pre-BL thing so he released Ren from his grasp and stumbled as he took a few hasty steps back.

“Well, okay, nevermind.” Ren could hear his own voice high-pitched as never before. “I’ll watch the magical girls. Ahaha. Yeah. We’re good. Are we good?”

“…” Leviathan only glared at him, baffled and probably seriously shellshocked from the revelation.

“Levi?” Ren’s heart sank. He should have known. He should have known Leviathan would be disgusted. Otakus watch anime for cute girls, not for guys banging on screen. And there was a huge difference between them and fujoshi… or fudanshi, as he was. A difference of respect as well. Because there was no respect, mostly. That’s why he was hiding it in the first place.

Great. Just great. He just blew the only friendship that let him open up at least a bit about the human world’s pop-culture. Now everything’s over. It has to be.

“Levi?”, he repeated softly.

“D-d-did I-I just… agreed on w-watching…” Levi was getting redder and redder every word he said, “the world’s… whole s-supply… of BL? With two g-guys… k-k-kissing?”

“S-seems like that.” Ren confirmed, but kept for himself that kissing wasn’t usually the last step the characters would be taking on screen. But maybe… better not add fuel to the fire.

”Is it very different from dating sims? Not that much, right? Just one doesn’t have boobs.” He laughed nervously. “It isn’t that different. Right? Right?!”

But Leviathan didn’t seem to agree.

On the other hand, he wasn’t trying to argue the point either. He was only getting more and more flustered, no matter how Ren tried to reason with him.

Probably because it was totally nothing like Leviathan’s dating sims.

But… was it  a lost case after all? Well, at least he didn’t mention the bara stash. Yeah. That… could have been worse. Much worse. Positive thinking. Positive thinking was the key.

But he was, at that moment, feeling nothing even close to positive.

”We can forget this conversation.” Ren sighed, hanging his head. “Please, let’s just forget this conversation. I’m a total normie. No fudanshi at all. The normiest of the normies. Feel free to call me a normie whenever you want.”

“…I’tch it.” The demon mumbled with a barely audible voice, averting his eyes and raising a hand to cover his face.

“What?”

“I-I’ll w-watch it.” Leviathan avoided his gaze and looked aside, pouting for some unknown reason, still impressively pink in the face.

“Whoa whoa, wait, you just cannot do it without preparation!”

“Wha…!”

Okay, this might have sounded wrong in… some contexts they both seemed to be actually thinking about. This likely sounded very wrong. No, definitely sounded very wrong. Ren felt his cheeks burning with a blush as impressive as Levi’s and Levi himself was probably reaching some world record of the shade of red one’s face can turn.

“I-I-I mean, if you really, really want to, I can recommend something! One something!” Ren flapped his hands in panic. Well, he didn’t exactly know what was the point of the gesture, but it worked somehow. Leviathan was at least a bit calmer now, but still scarlet like a lobster and hiding his face in his hand.

“I… okay.”

Considering the impressive red colour on Leviathan’s face, Ren mentally excluded all raunchy stuff he watched in the last week and recommended something sweet and romantic instead, and as good as he could find.

Little did he know how flustered Leviathan got while watching it later.

And how flustered Leviathan got upon researching some very very wrong series a bit later.

Summer Anime 2019

Minna-san, hisashiburi (Everyone, long time no see)! Genki desu ka (Are you well)? I’m so so so sorry that my anime watch list for this season is so late. I’ve been so busy over June with studying for tests and the beginning of July with AX stuff. BUT there was a huge reason why this post is so late! Okay, story-time...I originally finished writing this post last week. It was a super long post explaining what I have been up to, what I’m watching, what I plan on watching, etc. I was super excited for everyone to read it, but just when I hit the POST button...my screen turned into this:

After a short email exchange with Tumblr, I got everything situated with my account. However, there was a casualty...my post was GONE. It was as if I never wrote it in the first place. T^T I felt so defeated, but I really wanted to get this post up so here I am, almost a month into July, writing my belated summer anime watch list. 

Since Tumblr dinged me on my first attempt at this post, from now on I’ll be providing MAL links for all of the shows I’m checking out for this season. Of course you guys can check them out as well. In fact, please do so!

As for the anime department, I think I’ve been doing well. Granted, Fruits Basket was the only show I was able to keep up with in the spring season, but lately I’ve been revisiting old favorites like Ore Monogatari!, Recovery of an MMO Junkie, Wotakoi, etc. I’ve even checked out and got heavily invested into shows from previous seasons I wasn’t even following at the time: Dororo and Kimetsu no Yaiba. Either way, I’ve been enjoying my fill of anime and I’m so excited to share what I’m watching for the SUMMER ANIME SEASON!!!

YEESSSS MY GAY MUSICAL BABIES ARE BACK! I was so happy and excited when I heard there was going to be a 3rd season for this series. I’ve already watched the first 3 episodes on Crunchyroll and I’m so happy I can get my weekly dose of musical ikemen once again! XD I think this is going to be the last season so I’m excited to see how it all ends. 

- Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2

OH MY GOD I was so happy when I saw the notification on MAL. I knew Takagi-san was going to get a second season but I had no idea that it was going to release this soon! I loved the first season and enjoyed the adorable interactions between these two. If you haven’t seen the first season yet, I recommend giving this a watch, especially if you love Yuki Kaji!

If you didn’t know, I am male idol anime trash (Uta Pri, IDOLISH7). When I read the premise and saw the cast list I put this on my watch list. Then, I saw the PV for the first time on a jumbo screen in the Exhibit Hall at this year’s AX. I knew right then and there that this show was up my ally. I’m looking forward to starting this!

OOOOOOOHHHHH MYYYYYYY GAAAAAAWWWWWD!!! YES!!! I was waiting for this to be animated for so long! @perfectlynorm had me read this awhile ago and I LOVED IT! I watched the first 2 episodes on Crunchyroll and I was not disappointed! I really recommend this show...especially for fellow Fujoshis/Fudanshis. hehehehehehe

AHHHHH~! Okay, I originally put this on my watch list on a whim. But I literally DIED of cuteness when I watched the first 3 episodes!!! This show gives me intense Gakuen Babysitter vibes so I really recommend those who loved that show to give this a try. WARNING: gaining cavities from all of the sweet moments in this show are UNAVOIDABLE!

What can I say, I am LOVING this show and I’m excited to see the rest of the manga animated. I’ve mentioned this before but this series is very dear to me and while I love the original 2001 anime series, everything that TMS and Takaya-sensei have done with the re-adaption is nothing short from perfection. I’m just so happy that his series is getting the anime adaption it deserves. 

- Kimetsu no Yaiba

After watching (and loving) Dororo and seeing a whole bunch of fan art and cosplays for this show at AX, my interest in this show increased. Once I checked out the show on MAL and watched the PV, I knew that I had to give this show a try. I’ve already watched the first 2 episodes and I am loving it so far! The animation is gorgeous and the story is so interesting! I’m excited to watch the rest and bug my other anime friends to watch this! XD

Makoto Shinkai (aka director of the amazing and beautiful Your Name) is back with another film. I just watched the PV and so far I’m liking what I’m seeing. The animation is gorgeous and the band Radwimps is back for the music. I hope I can watch this either online or in theaters! 

Yosh! All done! Again, I’m really sorry for posting this list so late. I promise the next one will be posted on time. This summer has been so crazy. There’s been major ups and downs in the real world and in my personal life. I was so heartbroken to hear about what happened to KyoAni and its staff. I hope they will take the time to recover from this horrible tragedy.
