We have a networking course in college, and I am happy to share my notes. For those who cannot read hand written notes, I shall explain what they are about here:
Internet is basically a large web constructed of many smaller networks that communicate with each other.
Types of these networks are:
Home networks that consist of a router that connects the devices to the internet, a computer and the devices, like a printer, that communicate with each other using the network. In today's smart homes, however, there may be many other appliances but for clarity I do not go there at the moment.
SOHO which means Small Office or Home Network. This includes basically same kind of structure the home network does, but also there is an access to the company network. This access can vary on the status of a worker and the safety protocol that the company has set. For example - there may be a collection of data and educational material for employee that is accessible remotely, but it may also be possible that some data is guarded so it is possible to acclaim only via the authorized devices ie. workplace laptop. Some data may be so private that it is only accessible to certain computers in certain place. We are returning to this later.
Medium to large networks can vary from library or school network to the network of a large company. These are large structures that include many end devices that use internet (clients) and many devices that provide networking services (servers). There may be several user roles, for example data authorized only by certain members of staff, data that is available for everyone, and data that is only available for the network administration.
Finally the internet, world wide web is a large entity that exists because these smaller networks exist. I am not a poet, nor a philosopher, but I think this is very beautiful concept. There is no a certain company or organization that is responsible or profits of internet, but it is a world wide collaborative project. Due this fact you can communicate with people from different cultures and parts of earth when ever you want.
If you got more interest, I warmly recommend the cisco networking academy which provides loads of material and resources and is the main source for my notes.
Got feedback? Cool! DM me :) If you are an extraterrestrial being, feel free to contact me, for I am interested of how networking can be done in space!

being an adult means we can buy or make as much self-indulgent shit (as we can afford) and unironically have trinkets of our fave things cause our teen years was bullied for liking things and hiding/denying we were ever neurodivergent to the point of suicide. sucks for anyone that thinks its weird cringe but I'm going to try and allow myself to love myself in little ways now

Something I’ve been thinking about lately is that small moment in “Air Turtle” where immediately after the Daves lose yet another game, Leo says how sorry he is and how he’s doing his best as the mascot. This moment is so short but it’s honestly jam-packed with a whole heap of characterization.
His need to apologize for things clearly not his fault - especially when it feels like he messes up the job he was given despite doing the best he can (the phrase “it’s not about you” takes a new meaning when this is one of the lessons to be learned from that - that he is not always solely responsible for things going wrong), his need to save face and make a connection with an older adult man in his life (something he consistently does throughout the series - he’s got a few daddy issues, always collecting potential father figures, it’s no wonder he jumps at the bit to keep rapport), and the way he sounds and looks and the words he chooses really pushes how he is just a kid (“Mr. the Dunk, I’m so sorry”).
Like I know it’s a one off moment that doesn’t truly mean much, but when put against the rest of the series it works really well with the rest of Leo’s established character and helps in solidifying later concepts as well.
#rottmnt#rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles#rottmnt leo#rise leo#rottmnt headcanons#am I looking too much into things? almost assuredly yes#I actually appreciate how tim immediately goes ‘it’s not your fault’ as well? like he could’ve just blamed this 15/16 year old but he didn’t#but yeah this moment got to me a little mainly because it made me realize that Leo…DOES take responsibility for things a lot#he messes up a ton yeah but he says sorry at a pretty consistent rate#and y’know thinking about it#THIS IS TINFOIL HAT TERRITORY BE WARNED#he’s mentioned being betrayed by his brothers before - I wonder if it was something as simple as taking the fall for like#breaking something of Splinters or whatever#point is it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for him to get the full blame for something only partially his fault#or not his fault at all in some cases#like in bug busters where Raph gets mad at Leo for not getting captured with them#(I understand Raph’s mindset here a ton - Raph’s the leader and he’s likely lashing out so I don’t blame the poor kid)#but this plus the moment at the beginning of the movie#where only Leo is reprimanded despite Mikey and Donnie having full autonomy to join the fun pizza stacking#make no mistake this is not at all a diss on everyone else!!! it’s just something I noticed#I think that “it’s not about you” doesn’t just pertain to being arrogant and wanting the spotlight#I think it’s also about how responsibility is meant to be shared#and like#Leo DOES mess up a lot! so he’s honestly probably used to having the blame because it is often at least somewhat warranted#he’s specifically described as being good at apologizing after all#tldr: Leo messes up a lot of the time so he is very used to blame and attention both good and bad#even when the full blame should not be solely on his shoulders

YUUKO TIME YUUKO TIME
EVERYONE SIT DOWN IT’S TIME FOR YUUKO
We can see the edges of the store’s reality are beginning to fade away. Time is running out.
Time has been running out for a while but it appears that they’re really on the edge of it now, if the very fabric of it is wearing away even with Yuuko right there.
She is also giving away feet pics, for free. In this economy. Which is surely another sign of how bad things are getting.
Tumblr media
OHH OHH OHH. ITEMS? I'm in heaven.
Yuuko mentions that the treasure storage room should be especially protected, and we know these are the items that were critically important in granting significant wishes. My question is whether they need to be protected for their emotional worth, or if they will be used again at some unknown time in the future? Or if their continued existence is important for the reality of the wishes they have already granted? I guess we'll find out eventually!
But let’s see what we have!
-Fai’s power limiting tattoo, that he traded away to run from Ashura
-What looks like one of the dolls from Angelic Layer, still in its egg (which, like, thematically appropriate. Because egg.)
-What also looks like a little framed picture of one of the fox spirits?
-In the next frame we have Ginryuu - or like, the replica Ginryuu that Kurogane traded to get back to Tomoyo
-Next to it are two swords that I think must be the swords from Yasha and Ashura in the Shura/Shara arc, that helped pay for Yuuko’s assistance with Ashura
-A bird in a cage with ivy growing around it. I don’t recognise this at all, so maybe I've forgotten something
-Next panel over we have Fai’s staff, traded away so that they could enter the castle in Koryo
-And then we have xxxholic items! The water vase is the one from when Watanuki went to visit the Ame Warashi
-The little things below it look like the Chobits ears Watanuki was wearing when they investigated the school rumour very early on
-The decorated tube on the little stand I think is the Monkey’s Paw
-The tube below it looks like the container that held the noodle fox spirit, which I’m only just noticing we haven’t seen in a while
-And a fan! Oh, the fan that tengu traded to Yuuko so that Watanuki would save her from the spider?
What a great selection of items! It's a fun way to showcase the connections between the various past arcs and storylines, while also reminding us of all the characters we've met and the wishes that tie things all together. The only thing I don’t recognise is the bird, so let me know if that's something I should know about!
