Actually this is a very good example of how western media casually 造谣 nonsense such as saying xiaohongshu (little red book) was named after mao zedong's quotebook lmao. Cnetizens be like:"OH we don't even know that ourselves""With such far-fetched talent and such a high level of political awareness, they could have taken the civil service exam"

The name Xiaohongshu MEANS popular shopping guide. Qu Fang and Mao Wenchao met when they were both in the U.S. shopping for goods. At that time, Mao Wenchao called his family in Wuhan and asked what goods he was bringing, and when Qu Fang heard the accent she felt very close to him, and the two of them got to know each other.

They are both business elites, passionate about entrepreneurship, and deeply sympathetic to the difficulties of nationals shopping overseas. The two founded Xiaohongshu in the hope that it would become a guide to overseas shopping for Chinese people. According to Qu Fang's interpretation of the words “red” and “book” at the time, the three words "Little Red Book” can be translated as ""very popular shopping guide''. It was launched in 2014 when the name is called “Hong Kong shopping guide” (Source)

I get the appeal of Sonic the Hedgehog being its own urban legend in his world (IDW can we now call it earth) like, a blue blur that appears out of nowhere, destroys some robots, maybe picks up some wildflowers while he saves entire civilizations like it's just a walk in the park and just a few people get as much of a glimpse of him from up close (and that means you're also getting a close glimpse to this week's god of destruction so maybe be careful with that)? it is really cool, but the side of Sonic that is well renewed, the one that it's known by the world as a protector, a hero to some level, the side thay annoys restoration members, the side that gets recognized by the masses, praised by children, feared by villains and admired by almost everyone to a certain level... one that is big enough for him to get bootleg merch? A young student at a prestigious university is eager to return to Vermont in time to deliver her presentation for the Theology department’s annual conference.

However, after an unforeseen series of events, (y/n) finds herself stranded in Colorado during a snowstorm in the house of a rather curious and eccentric Mr. Reed.

As the storm rages outside, the odd pair find that they may have more in common than they first thought.

IM SO EXCITED IM FINALLY WRITING A FAN FICTION!!!

I genuinely haven’t sat myself down to WRITE FAN FICTION in years, and I’m so excited to finish this one!! This will also probably be my first published fan fiction; I’ve written a lot of them on my own, but never really shared them publicly until now - this is so exciting for me!

I can’t really guarantee it will be very good.. nor can I promise when it will be out, but I’m aiming for sometime this week! I have a feeling it will be a two parter, but lemme cook and we’ll see!

The title is based on song lyrics from Ava Adore by The Smashing Pumpkins, I added it above if anyone is curious (it’s a very good song). I love The Smashing Pumpkins, and I’ve loved this song for years! I’ve always wanted to base a fanfic off of it, but I kind of can’t believe I’m finally doing it for Mr. Reed. It’s one of my ultimate yearning songs - you must understand that this is a big deal for me!

I love the new nightmare update- sure some of the characters are a bit too on the nose as references for me to really enjoy.. (cough fucking pinhead cough) i do enjoy the concept- Especially the twins, and Nightmare Angus (Aka Abducius) is creative as fuck. (and obviously, i love Ishtar despite her very simple design)
