How This Collab Works

So basically all you have to do is write a toxic 'lil fic. It's flexible, too. You can write dark content, cheating, fucking your best friend's boyfriend. Whatever you like! Just have fun and make sure to keep it TOXIC!

I’ve got a list of rules right here so read through them thoroughly before entering.

Minors do not interact. It’s not hard, please understand this is non negotiable.

When you post your work, please tag me or send it in an ask so that I can see it’s up and link it in the masterlist.

There is no due date for this collab! I just want this to be fun, relaxing, and something you can take part in whenever you're ready. Throughout music history, some of the dopest songs are created by sampling the sound of another masterful tune. Most likely, some of your favorite tracks of all time are sampled to create a memorable song.

In some cases, the samples are hard to miss, in other cases, they are hard to catch. Here are some of the best samples used on some of our favorite R&B and hip-hop classics.

“I’m Coming Out,” the hit single from Diana Ross’ self-titled tenth album, Diana, was sampled on one of the biggest hip-hop tracks of the 1990s. Hint: In the opening seconds of the track, Diana sings the hook! Ok, you should instantly recognize it was sampled on Notorious B.I.G.’s 1997 track, “Mo Money Mo Problems.”

This track from longtime funk and soul organist Ronnie Foster is one of my favorites of all time. This chill performance created the layout for one of the dopest beats of all time. It was sampled on A Tribe Called Quest’s 1993 track, “Electric Relaxation,” which has in turn inspired a plethora of other rappers.

Ahmad Jamal - I Love Music

It might be hard to tell who sampled this beautiful track from American pianist Ahmad Jamal, but if you listen closely at the five-minute mark of the track, you can hear the sample that was used on Nas’ inspirational 1994 track, “The World is Yours.”

Grant Green - “Maybe Tomorrow”

Maybe Tomorrow

This track just pulls the ear of any rapper who wants to get some emotion off of their chest. It was beautifully sampled on Kendrick Lamar’s 12-minute track, “Sing About Me, I’m Dying of Thirst,” but it’s also been used by talented MCs such as J. Cole and Common.

Good Times

This track was sampled by one of the oldest and most recognizable hip-hop tracks of all time. Hell, it’s damn near 20 years older than me and even I know the track. If you go to the 3:12 minute mark of this song, you can hear the sample that was used throughout “Rapper’s Delight” by Sugarhill Gang.

Stevie Wonder - “Pastime Paradise”

Stevie Wonder-Pastime Paradise

Stevie Wonder’s “Pastime Paradise” is from one of the greatest albums of all time and sampled by one of the most important hip-hop records ever, Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise.” While its claim to fame may be because of Coolio, the song has been sampled by other talented artists including Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige and Three 6 Mafia.

Footsteps in the Dark, Pts. 1 & 2

Sometimes you hear songs and you instantly the song that sampled it. That’s the case with the Isley Brother’s classic 1977 song, “Footsteps in the Dark. Six seconds into the songs you instantly know Ice Cube sampled this song on his 1992 hit, “It Was a Good Day.” I can’t listen to one song without thinking about the other. “Footsteps in the Dark” was also sampled by Thundercat on “Them Changes,” a popular song used often used on social media.

EPMD - You´re A Customer

Those drums played throughout the track are timeless and have been sampled by many artists across genres for years. Most notably, it was sampled on the 2004 track by Mario Winans, “I Don’t Wanna Know.” Many people give Winans’ the credit for its sample on the standout track, “Creepin,’” by Metro Boomin and The Weekend, but those drums came from EPMD.

The Charmels - “As Long As I’ve Got You” 

THE CHARMELS - AS LONG AS I’VE GOT YOU

The Charmels might not have been the most popular music ensemble of the 1960s, but this sample is beloved in hip-hop circles. As soon as the piano plays on this track, you should instantly recognize that Wu-Tang Clan sampled this song on its breakout hit, “C.R.E.A.M.”

It’s rare that a hip-hop song is one of the most sampled songs of all time, but “Bring the Noise” by Public Enemy is the seventh most sampled song ever, according to whosampled.com. To no surprise, it’s been sampled by a multitude of rappers including Kanye West, Ludacris, Rakimand De La Soul. But it’s also been sampled by Prince of all people.

Along with producing some of the tracks on this list, Isaac Hayes has also been sampled more than a number of times. “Walk On By” is among his most popular and has been sampled by artists Michael Jackson to Beyoncé.

He amazingly sampled this song twice on his collab album with Freddie Gibbs, Bandana on two separate tracks. Once on “Palmolive” featuring Pusha T and Killer Mike, and another on “Fake Names.”

Summer Madness

Similar to many other songs on this list, this track is amazing even if it was never sampled. Thankfully, artists were smart enough to use it. It’s most famous use is on the classic 1991 track, “Summertime” by DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince. It’s also been sampled by Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Jhené Aiko, Aaliyah and Erykah Badu.

best underrated anime in your opinion??

Another wonderful Anon with another difficult yet welcomed question (´｡• ω •｡`)

I will try to follow the same layout as I did with the manga recommendations ask. These are the anime series that instantly come to mind that, in my humble opinion, are underrated :

Underrated Anime #1 :

91 Days

Why aren't more people talking about this series?! I've watched 91 Days at least a half dozen times, and it never gets old. This anime is set back during the Prohibition Era and follows a young man determined to avenge his family who were murdered by top members of a mob/organized crime family. In order to get close to them, he inserts himself into their world and works his way to the top. I genuinely love this anime so much. It's really sad, but is beautifully written and executed. I highly recommend watching the English Dub, mostly because I think the English voice actors do a perfect job with the accents and turn-of-phrase used during that time period. If you enjoy Crime Dramas, then please give 91 Days a chance. It's a 12 episode anime, so it's definitely manageable. Just be prepared for the ending. Despite watching it several times already... I'm still conflicted lol

Underrated Anime #2 :

Gangsta

I was so disappointed to find out this anime was discontinued, especially since it ended on a cliffhanger. From my understanding, the main cause was due to the production studio going bankrupt. Despite this, I really enjoyed Gangsta enough to hold onto a tiny shred of hope for a second season (I just won't hold my breath lol). Gangsta takes place in a town called Ergastulum and follows two "handymen" who conduct an array of different jobs. This anime is geared towards a mature audience, since it has prostitution, drugs, and other adult-themed elements in it. One unique detail is that one of the handymen, Nicolas, is deaf. If you enjoy darker themes and thrillers, then I'd suggest checking out Gangsta. It's 12 episodes long... Just keep in mind this anime does not have a second season, and may not ever be continued.

Underrated Anime #3 :

Kakuriyo Bed & Breakfast for Spirits

Little known fact about me : I adore supernatural themed anime. Series like Kamisama Kiss, Gugure! Kokkuri-san, Fruits Basket, and others all fit my taste perfectly. Kakuriyo Bed & Breakfast for Spirits is no different. This anime is about a human girl named Aoi who has the ability to see spirits. One day, an ogre appears and takes her back to an inn called Tenjin-ya that is run and patronized by ayakashi. Upon arriving, he reveals that Aoi's grandfather had made a deal with him. In exchange for forgiving the old man's debt, Aoi is to marry the ogre. Refusing the proposal of marriage, Aoi insists on working at the Bed & Breakfast in order to pay off the debt and ultimately earn back her freedom. This is such a wonderful anime. All of the characters are so cute and charming. And I'm a big fan of Aoi! She's not one of those useless or annoying anime protagonists. Quite the opposite, actually. I am currently watching Kakuriyo Bed & Breakfast for Spirits, and I'm loving every moment of it. It's 26 episodes long (I'm at episode 18), so a bit longer than the other series I've mentioned. But if you enjoy Supernatural Romance anime with some Comedy sprinkled in, then I highly recommend Kakuriyo Bed & Breakfast for Spirits (:

Underrated Anime #4 :

Aoharu X Machinegun

This is one of the many anime series that I wish would be blessed with a second season. Aoharu X Machinegun is about a high school student named Hotaru who mistakenly accuses her new neighbor, who happens to work as a host, of scamming her best friend. To defend the honor of her friend, Hotaru agrees to play a game of airsoft with the host, Matsuoka. In the process, Hotaru causes an extensive amount of damage before ultimately losing to Matsuoka. He then forces Hotaru to join his airsoft team, stating that it was the best way for Hotaru to pay off her debt. Plot twist : Matsuoka and his teammate, Yukimura, have no idea that Hotaru is actually a girl, a secret she needs to keep after learning that girls are not allowed on their team. This is a really enjoyable 12 episode anime series with a good amount of action, comedy, and some more intense/emotional scenes. So if you're interested in Airsoft or like Comedy and Action anime, then you might wanna check out Aoharu X Machinegun.

Underrated Anime #5 :

Servamp

You can't go wrong with a vampire anime, right? How about vampires that take the form of animals? Servamp fits both criteria. This series is about a boy named Mahiru who takes in what he thinks is a stray cat, only to inadvertently make a contract with a vampire, named Kuro (aka Sleepy Ash of Sloth). Shortly afterwards, Mahiru gets thrust into this once unknown world of vampires when Kuro's brother appears and vows to wage an all-out war against Kuro and their other siblings. I'd say this is arguably one of the better vampire themed anime currently out, at a total of 12 episodes. So if you enjoy Supernatural elements, Vampires, and little touches of Comedy and Action sprinkled in, then I recommend Servamp.

Honorable Mention :

Hakuoki (sometimes spelled Hakuouki)

I am happy to say that unlike some of the other series I listed here, this anime in particular was completed with a total of 3 Seasons, a set of OVAs, and 2 films... Not to mention all of the games for this franchise. This series takes place during the Edo period and follows a young lady named Chizuru. She travels to Kyoto to search for her father, only to be taken into custody by members of the Shinsengumi after witnessing them cutting down individuals who appear to be possessed. Upon realizing who Chizuru's father is, a man responsible for creating an elixir that turns those who drink it into invincible blood lusting beings called Furies, the Shinsengumi members decide to keep Chizuru close, expecting the girl to aid them in their search for her father. Hakuoki is a beautiful anime with even more beautiful artwork. If you enjoy Historical anime with Fantasy elements, then Hakuoki may appeal to you. Note : Hakuoki is also an otome game, so the anime can give off "reverse harem" vibes at times. But if you can overlook that if you're not into otome, then it can still be very enjoyable to watch (:

hiii so uhh i really don't think anyone will see this because...i literally have one follower but im kinda making this for myself because me and my cousin are going to the mall and a few stores around the city in a few days SPECIFICALLY to lift and I made a list of things that we both want PLUS some tips for these stores seeing as I DO lift from most of them a lot sooo..yeah

SPENCERS: a moderately easy store seeing as there are TONS of blind spots and LP isn't employed. To top it off, cameras are never monitored, however they are low-hanging and somewhat high quality. Usually only 2-5 employees but the store is almost always crowded so if you find a blind spot it's a free for all. They wont chase but might call mall security.

What we want:

h20 piercing cleaner x2

toy cleaner

jojoba oil

hemp oil

septum and nose jewelery (we will actually have to purchase this, seeing as if you steal the jewelery they hand to you they WILL know you stole no matter what. Plus the packaging is riddled with RFID tags)

HOT TOPIC: Not that many blind spots, but employees usually don't care and rarely count clothing articles, which may have a tag or two, so check for those. Cameras are never monitored and the stores usually have a large layout so just watch out for customers and employees, find a blind spot and throw a bunch of shit into your bag They don't chase! :D.

What we want:

CLAIRE'S: whew lawd. I really really want to be helpful on this one but Claire's is a laughably easy place to lift from. No cameras, usually only 1 or 2 employees and if one is giving a piercing it's a free-for-all. THEY HAVE MIRRORS SO AVOID THOSE. My favorite blind spot there is behind the register if there is no one there, and that's all I have to say there.

VICTORIA'S SECRET: first of all lol, i feel ZERO shame in lifting from them. Please note that they do have cameras, and their SAs are trained to look out for shoplifters, however most of them are just confused college girls lol. Panties are NOT tagged. What I like to do is take a medium sized empty makeup bag and put it in my purse, and once I arrive to VS i put the makeup bag in the tote, I also drop my phone into the tote. I go around the store, picking out panties that are my size and i drop them so they can fall directly into the makeup bag. I do this with as many as I can fit into the bag and I do this with small makeup items as well. Once I'm done, I reach into the bag as if I'm looking for my phone (which i dropped in earlier) and that's the moment when i zip up the zipper of the makeup bag and pull out my phone immediately after and pretend to check the time and say something like "Damn, I gotta go. I'm late." Or something like that. Put the makeup bag in your purse and play around on your phone as you exit the store. And that's really it :) I rarely lift bras from there anymore so I can't REALLY help you there.

What I want:

a bunch of panties and some lip gloss!

BARNE'S AND NOBLES: I've never lifted from this place but I know friends who have. I'll give you the tips they gave me. There are cameras, and they are being monitored, but there are PLENTY of blind spots seeing as it is a very large store. The kid's section has no cameras tho, so if you're like me and look younger than you are, this could be for your advantage. No one expects you to steal when you're vibing in the kid's section. Most books have RFID tags, and hardcover books sometime have books engraved in the cover, so watch out for those. Most manga, some magazines, and just overall 99% of the books are tagged. Get what you want, flip through them and look for RFID tags while pretending to "read". If an employee sees you sitting down "reading" they won't suspect you unless they actually see you ripping out the tags. The worst that could happen is that they could ask you to move out of the book aisle so other customers can come through, if that happens, simply find another blind spot. Slip them into your bags like they're yours as SOON as you know they're rid of RFID tags. They won't chase, but probably will try to get you back into the store and if that doesn't work they'll try to get a license plate number or give your description to the police, neither usually goes anywhere tbh.

Ulta: The second store I've ever lifted from. This store is easy, but not laughably. I feel like this would be a starter for babylifters. This store has mild LP, so watch out for those and NEVER EVER EVER conceal in front of customers, you should never do this in general but especially NOT in an Ulta. Get to your blindspot and make sure to detag depending on what you plan on lifting. Those mfs at Ulta tag like crazy. Put everything in your bag and remember to NEVER get too greedy at this store. They have a STRICT, VERY VERY STRICT no chase policy.

What we want:

WALMART: My walmart is so easy it hurts. Maybe about 5 cameras throughout the whole store to my knowledge, so the whole thing is basically a blind spot. The makeup aisle is heavily monitored tho so whenever I'm over there I make an effort to never look up to those cameras. Grab whatever you want/need and AVOID EMPLOYEES!!! they're everywhere. As well as customers. They are the two most annoying problems I've ever had lifting from a Walmart. I've noticed that aisles where you get things such as building materials are the most empty with no cameras. People usually only go to walmart because the food is cheap, so there are a lot of families who are usually only at one side of the store. Its rare that people ever need materials like those so seek out aisles like that to use as a blind spot. Wal-Mart doesn't seem to tag that many things, but ALWAYS check no matter what store you're at. If you're lifting something on the expensive side, just check for that.

THE DOLLAR TREE:

Pretty easy store tbh. The cameras are fake, and if they aren't they're never being monitored. I don't know about ALL layouts but mine has SO many blindspots it's crazy. If you're just looking for a snack, some makeup, or maybe a meal ? (Yes, you can get a whole meal if you lift enough stuff) then the dollar tree would be your place of interest. There are almost no employees walking around the store. There are usually only 2, and they switch between working at the registers and cleaning out the front of the store or whatever. Honestly this store is so easy just stuff shit in your bag lol. Even if you get caught they won't chase or call the police. Their stock is WAYY too cheap for that. I go there to steal candy or makeup brushes which is usually not worth paying for anyways so this is a beginner store. Knock yourself out ;)

“Please!” S.onia begged, hands folded together in front of her in a pleading position. Her icy eyes were wide and her lower lip trembling. The sight was enough to get anyone in the room to say yes without hesitation but most of them kept up their guard (save k.azuichi who was violently nodding yes despite having no idea what the ultimate princess was talking about, and g.undham who kept his scarf above his burning red cheeks and he was avoiding her gaze). No one wanted to ask for more clarification, but f.uyuhiko spoke up, pinching the bridge of his nose.

“Explain exactly what the fuck it is you want to do again?” He asked with a huff, causing m.ahiru to hit his shoulder due to his vulgar language. S.onia sighed and sat up straight.

“I have been feeling rather homesick as of late, and there is nothing here that reminds me of Novoselic. Today is the national Novoselic holiday where we show our gratitude for everyone in our lives over dinner!” Her eyes were still so bright and her smile was enough to win people over.

“So like American thanksgiving but for you?” F.uyuhiko asked with an arched brow.

“Please do not compare it to that!” S.onia yelped which caused F.uyuhiko to be swatted again by M.ahiru. “Please friends! I will spend the day with T*ruteru helping him with all the finest Novoselic dishes! Please please!!” The ultimate chef looked pleased by this and nodded.

“If it involves food I’m in!” A.kane laughed and put her hands on her hips. F.uyuhiko and P.eko still looked rather pensive, it was unclear if I.buki was actually listening, and G.undhams entire face had been covered at this point. So everyone turned to H.ajime. He blinked.

“Why are you guys looking at me?!” He questioned with a slight crack in his voice.

“You are typically our voice of reason,” P.eko nodded. “So what do you think?”

“Well, if it will make S.onia happy,” H.ajime sighed and smiled slightly. “Fine.” S.onia squealed before pulling him into a tight hug.

“Oh thank you H.ajime!” She beamed, squeezing him tightly which caused him to cough. “Oh please!! Give me just a few hours and everything will be set up.” H.ajime sighed in relief as S.onia pulled away. She skipped back into the kitchen holding T*ruteru by the wrist as she did so. h.ajime ran his fingers through his hair. after all, how bad could this turn out?

after a few hours the group reconvened as s.onia requested and the layout her and t*ruteru set up was... decadent to say the least. the feast the two had prepared was a lot. even for this group. that including a.kane. h.ajime swallowed.

“this is..” he started, looking at s.onia as she happily bounced, wearing her apron and her hair pulled back into a cute bun.

“do you like it?” she asked holding her hands in front of her, smiling oh so sweetly. h.ajime looked at the food display once more. baskets of bread, sides of different shapes and flavors, different meat dishes and vegetarian alternatives for g.undham and anyone else who wanted to try them. he felt his stomach growl at the sight and smell of it all. s.onia heard this and giggled. 

“i know i do!” a.kane chuckled sliding into a chair with a bright smile. f.uyuhiko sighed, preemptively loosening his tie. s.onia poured everyone a drink and left some at the table for them. 

“thank you so much for allowing me to do this for you all! i truly am grateful for each and everyone of you. thank you so much for being my friends!” h.ajime felt his heart melt at s.onia’s burst of passion for the group. they all smiled, unsure of what to say next or what to do. s.onia waved her hands. “go on! eat up friends!”

genuinely it was shocking to see the feast on the table demolished completely. when h.ajime looked up from his drink to see the food on the table completely gone. he was shocked and confused until he looked down at his own stomach, which was rounded and bloated. h.ajime swallowed trying to discreetly unbutton his pants. the moment he did the relief instantly hit him and he sighed sweetly, rubbing his lower belly with one hand burping into his free one. it only dawned on him how full he was now. ugh. how much did he eat? looking at his plates stacked beside him he got a gage. he groaned and continued to rub his overly full belly, unbuttoning the bottom buttons of his shirt. s.onia walked over to collect his plates and smiled. she ruffled his hair a little which caused h.ajime to jump a little, looking over his shoulder at her.

“are you alright, h.ajime?” she asked with a sweet smile.

“yeah, just full,” he gave his full stomach a small pat and it gurgled in response. s.onia giggled. “really full.” she smiled and made her way around the rest of the table. with a small sigh h.ajime sunk back into his seat just a bit to relax just a bit and he looked around the table to see how everyone else was doing. 

across from him sat kazuichi, who’s beanie was trying to cover his eyes. he was biting his lower lip and one hand was running languidly across the swell of his stomach. h.ajime’s gaze flickered down to kazuichi’s tummy, which was swollen against the fabric of his neon green jumpsuit. it was very visible and h.ajime couldn’t help but blush at the first thought that he should unzip his jumpsuit so he could be more comfortable. something must not have settled well in his tummy because k.azuichi suddenly winced and rubbed his belly with more vigor then before. 

next he turned to a.kane, who didn’t seem all too affected, save a slightly swollen belly. in fact she was trying to get a conversation out of p.eko who looked a little green. she kept her posture but definitely didn’t look too good. it was easy to tell she was a little nauseous. h.ajime tilted his head to see if p.eko had done anything to help settle her stomach but no. her hands were neatly tucked on her lap, skirt and shirt not unbuttoned. it looked painful, especially how her chest heaved while she hiccupped. he did notice f.uyuhiko’s hand wrapped around her shoulder, rubbing her arm sweetly. h.ajime couldn’t help but smile at the sweet but subtle act of kindness from f.uyuhiko. 

not that he was in much better shape, the poor guy looked stuffed to the gills. it was more obvious on his skinnier frame, but it didn’t help that his blazer was unbuttoned as well as his tie being discarded across his chair. he definitely looked like he was handling his fullness better than the others. the blush on his cheeks was more prominent and he was gently rubbing his very full stomach. h.ajime could tell his green eyes wanted to flutter close but they stayed open to provide p.eko some comfort. 

then h.ajime’s eyes landed on g.undham and he could feel his cheeks burning at the sight. g.undham’s jacket and scarf were discarded, placed gently on the back of his chair. that alone made this sight feel so scandalous. his exposed collarbone and defined chest made h.ajime feel like he was seeing something forbidden. g.undham was asleep, which relieved h.ajime from the fear that he would catch him staring. the bottom of his white shirt was riding up a little from how full he was. h.ajime could have sworn he could hear g.undham’s stomach digesting from where he was sitting. looking at the vegetarian dish plates they were empty as well, a majority of that food now in g.undham’s tummy. the thought of that brought a sudden heat to h.ajime’s face. his arms were crossed over his chest, with his four d.eva’s sleeping peacefully on the swell of his bloated and full belly. h.ajime looked over at s.onia who was staring at the ultimate breeder with wide eyes and a red face. he chuckled and s.onia snapped out of it and walked back over to h.ajime.

“did this turn out like you expected?” he asked as s.onia occupied the empty seat next to him.

“i believe so!” she beamed, though she kept herself quiet as to not disturb anyones peace. “everyone seems so happy and settled.” h.ajime nodded, leaning onto s.onia’s shoulder. his eyelids so desperately wanted to flutter shut. s.onia smiled, looking over at all her friends in their stuffed stupors. it was silent, save some bellies rumbling and some soft breathing. it was like this for a while until a loud burp broke through. everyone looked around for the source to see f.uyuhiko covering his face. a.kane’s laughter was booming.

“d-don’t call me that shut the fuck up!” f.uyuhiko snapped, still rubbing his belly.

“do you think if we pat your back you’ll burp again?” a.kane teased and this caused a few more giggles from around the table.

“i’ll fucking kill you,” he snarled in return. s.onia laughed sweetly. this. this is what she wanted and this is what she was grateful for.

Welcome!

So this is my inaugural post for a new side blog dedicated to sharing news regarding Gangsta and Kohske (my other Tumblr is InvertedKidney)

I won’t promise I’ll be as awesome as FYG (we miss them to the max!), but I will try my best at sharing new chapter releases and other tidbits as they come up.

I also want to share when events are happening within the fandom itself *cough* like the return of a Gangsta week and a Gangsta themed exchange *cough*

The layout is still a work in progress, but I think it’s almost there. Anyone is welcome to give constructive feedback if they like and I’ll try to tweak it to the best of my abilities.
