Dionysus: *disgusted* No!
Apollo: huh...? Are you a boy or a girl?
Dionysus: *pleased* Yes.
Apollo:

awkward moment today where my boss and I were having a really frank talk about how nobody is going to take the job for the pay she's offering and I mentioned that there was still a free room in the company house, available for the right person. Not that I want a housemate but it'd be cool for another person to have a place to live and we really need another worker. And she was like "well only if it was a woman."
"Doesn't matter to me either way," I said. Do I want just anyone living in my house? No?? But people are people. I'm gender fluid and pan/ace so depending on how you look at it either everyone is safe or no one is. (I'm joking, I've never flirted with a coworker in 10 years. Ew.)
She really looked at me with my men's haircut, men's clothes, and man personality on a man day, and said 'you woman tho hur dur.' I can't come out at work bc technically they could fire me over it so... whatever.
I've spent a lot of nights in homes and hostels that weren't gendered and never felt unsafe or out of place because of it. I recognize I'd be statistically more likely to be harassed by a cis straight man no matter how I identify, but fortunately I seem to have cultivated a supremely unappealing and mildly deranged image that keeps those at bay. Leg hair does most of the work. And I keep a man shaped gun range target where I shot a whole magazine through the bullseye and another through the head framed next to my bed.

My favorite thing about bird owners is that most of them have no idea what gender their bird is (unless there‘s gender specific colouring or get their dna tested) and they just do whatever with the names and pronouns. Love it!
Brought to you by a TikTok where the owner talked to the very yellow parrot with he/him pronouns and the name was Stella and the trick „good girl“

After a period of self-reflection, your One True Mother has come to several conclusions:
Gender is overrated.
People need to keep their clothes on.
Himbos are hot.
Maid outfits are cool.
The Uncanny Valley has some hot "people" in it.
Becoming a cosmic horror is a multi-step process.
Paint is a great art software.
The women's clothing section has cute clothes.

A totally normal Family
Tumblr media
Basically wanted like a (para)normal family art. I have like backstory for all of them but I don’t know what to name them.
The centre one is inspired by Drakula like fashion. I followed similar colour schemes for everyone.
Oh and their gender is non specific so you can see them as an binary or non binary way.
Let me know which one of the siblings do you like the best (if any). I can even like draw them individually.

I wanna be called he the way you would say "isn't he a good little boy" to a dog you don't know the gender of. I wanna be called she the way sailors talk about their boats. I wanna be called they the way people go "or so they say" an ominous presence no one knows. I wanna be called it the way you talk about an annoying animal "it attacked me!"

Its-using animals club!
Alas i feel your pain, especially when someone's go-to response is "isn't using it/its dehumanizing?"
right. like. it doesn't matter if you think it's dehumanizing. it's what i want to be called, and like my name, you'll call me by it / its or we will not be having further conversation.
to me, personally, that's like. kind of a huge part of the appeal? full respect to those living in the "it can be a moment, it can be the mountains or the sunset" because, me too! but also a massive appeal to it / its is i can easily sum my gender up as some kinda boygirlthing. it/its he/she. like an animal you don't know the gender of.

unpopular ieytd headcanons? /nm
seeing as I've dedicated myself to being the world's biggest fabricator enjoyer (joke). i think it will be obvious who i'll take the opportunity to talk about :] with some other headcanons thrown in also.
I think a lot of my Fabricator headcanons count as "unpopular" if only because not many people talk about her in general. The first thing that came to mind for me is that I personally headcanon her as trans for no reason other than I'm trans and my favorite characters get hit with my beam attacks. I also think she's not really mean once you get to know her - She's much more relaxed around friends, it's just that she has. One friend total, maybe two if we're being generous with the definition of friend. And I just generally see her as a different kind of "mean" than other people seem to, if that makes sense? She has fun with it, yeah, but she has reasons and such. even if those reasons can be petty. I don't know if she enjoys drama for drama's sake, she's got a reputation to uphold and all. She uses more subtle verbal attacks, sarcasm and such.
Another unpopular headcanon, but for Agent Phoenix this time: My Phoenix is a lesbian. Got them with my beam attack also. I also tend to see them as less... Chaotic? They're cautious, taking their time to figure out the situation. They do still put things in their mouth though. That's important to me.

This school year, we had a unit in ELA where we learned about argumentation. One of the debate topics was "Who faces more societal pressure? Men, or women?" and we had to write an argumentative essay about it.
I love my teacher and I liked this prompt because it made me think, but I also feel it was really problematic.
It turned us against each other. Boys vs. Girls. I think in a lot of my classmates' arguments, we felt the need to invalidate the struggles of the other gender in order to support our own argument and it sucked.
"Crying isn't manly so we have to bottle up our feelings." "Whenever we get angry our feelings are reduced to 'Oh, she's just on her period." "When men are raped it's never recognized." "When women are raped people think it's their fault, not their rapist's." "Men are expected to provide for the family." "Women are expected to stay at home cleaning, cooking, and taking care of the kids." "If we do anything feminine we're called 'sissies' or 'gay.'" "If we do anything masculine we're called 'dykes' or 'lesbians.'" (It's stupid to think calling someone gay is an insult in the first place-)
And throughout the whole assignment, I kept thinking: Why are we against each other? It's not our fault. We have a common enemy, the stupid roles in our society telling us that we have to be a certain way because of our gender.
The world I live in is stupid.
