I decided to share some practice head sketches as my ass needs to draw more. My muse being Kafka Hibino from Kaiju No.8 and some AU variations of him since this is my first drawing the man. Bottom (Ghost) and top left (Agunimon) can be found in my Species Swap post here!
The top right is his Grandracmon variation from Regal Bloodsucker. All three are before he gets his kaiju powers hence the human doodle. I will be drawing full bodies for them and my other Kafka variations.

CW: Monsterfucking, Spider! Kafka, bondage, slight temporary paralysis, mentions of oviposition, eggs
Been thinking about Arachne! Kafka. Even though Halloween is long over, I still have monster women on the brain 😵‍💫
Want to be tangled up in Kafka’s web, legs tied to be spread wide open for her while she crawls up to you and plays with your clit with her fingers. You can’t really move that much considering she injected you with her venom that induces temporary mild paralysis, but still— it seems like you could still feel everything judging by the way you struggle in her web. The sight of you accidentally making her strings vibrate causes a predatory instinct in Kafka, and she can’t help but growl and turn you over so your ass is facing her.
She can’t wait to mount you, her towering spider torso completely encasing around yours as she slides her ovipositor out of its sheath. Her eggs are ready to be pushed into you, her large legs tapping her webbing excitedly as she grips your waist and prepares you for her length. Don’t worry, Kafka won’t be too rough on you, she knows human pussies are a bit small so she’ll only use half her ovipositor on you 🩷

Ghost Kafka Attacks!
Mainly @sonicasura's idea, but I think maybe we have different philosophies? For one thing, I'm evil...
This got away from me again. Anyway, my thinking goes like this:
I modified certain details from Sonicasura's post. The main concept is the same: at 26 years old, Kafka throws his life away to protect his co-workers. Almost at the end of the day, they had been cleaning up a large plant-type Kaiju, whose pheromones attract a medium-sized insect-type Kaiju looking for food. The way the situation is described in the post makes me think: both of these are in the manga that I've only read bits and pieces of. So if that is the case, this is the same, but if not, I will explain. The invading Kaiju is like a wasp that eats nectar as well as insects and meat, and can fly. It can also spray its victims with sticky silk, like a spitter spider, but unlike a spitter spider, its sight might be much more acute.
The Kaiju is on top of them in no time at all, with the poor Sweepers shouting at one another to get down and hide. High probability of an imminent blood bath! Kafka, opportunistic as ever, covers himself in nectar from the plant Kaiju to turn himself into bait. He sprints out and away as fast as he can through the empty streets, aiming to lead it away from his crew and distract it long enough for the rest of the Monster Sweepers to hide or flee. In this regard, he is successful.
But the attacking Kaiju ensnares him in its silk.
He has plenty of time in that cocoon to contemplate his last moments while under the influence of the Kaiju venom. We can agree on some themes. It might be anger at himself for breaking his promise and getting himself killed, hoping everyone else got away in the end, fighting to go on or at least praying to be remembered, and desperately desperately begging Mina to forgive him for his failure. What frustrates me is I want something more. Something evil. But y'know, Kafka's flavor of wrath wouldn't be triggered in this situation for Reasons. Without having read the full manga, I guess I'm going with the so-simple-it's-stupid option: fight or flight. And I changed the mechanism for Kafka becoming the type of ghost he is, sorta. Anyway,
Kafka, having been killed through suffocation within a maddeningly painful venomous silk cocoon, is in a high state of stress that does not immediately abate, even after he killed his killer and sucked up its soul.
I don't know how he does that yet, so I'll skip it.
As he has no immediate purpose and has not yet regained the ability of abstract thought or other forms of higher thinking, Kafka wanders around, confused and in emotional pain, hugging himself. His previous agony was so intense, that I'm not sure what's going on in his mind in the immediate aftermath. Does he even know he's dead? On some level he likely does, but perhaps he is also having a temporary lapse in sanity, or suffering from delirium. In any case, he is instinctually looking for help of some kind, but doesn't know how to get it.
I like to think that once his spirit had emerged from the still-closed cocoon, he mostly resembled himself, right down to the white Monster Sweeper uniform on his apparition. Only also with piercing green irises, a dark aura over his form, and an odd, often fleeting, sickly sweet scent. There's a certain pained expression he made that seemed off-putting, but I can't describe it. Still dunno how he ate that thing.
But after consuming the Kaiju soul, his form became like a shadow puppet, still human in shape but the details are harder to make out. Now his eyes and mouth are a starkly-glowing green. His teeth are still currently flat, except occasionally fangy when he's really pissed off and about to eat someone. He transforms further the more kaiju he consumes, so he'll eventually get a full set of permanent sharpness, among other changes, such as: the shape of his body becoming serpentine except for his arms and face; his hair becoming more like fur in texture and running all down his spine so that the end of his tail blends fluff with smoke; the rest of his body developing hair that's very fine, dense and no more than one or two millimeters long, something like an agreeable velvet or one of my favorite sweaters; clawed fingers like talons, although I'd prefer his hands retain a more human shape, but human fingernails are quite fragile. But that's all later. For now, he looks like a human shadow.
The lingering sun, as it descends to dusk, has him feeling some kind of way when he's caught in its light. It doesn't hurt per se, but it's overwhelming for an already-overwhelmed man, and highlights the sensation of feeling physically insubstantial. Lower levels of ambient light help him feel a little more real. So he sticks to darker areas like alleys.
The Defense Force arrived at some point, only to find the wasp Kaiju already dealt with, and a cocoon that was the perfect size to house a human victim. Though, as is the case in the original post, they couldn't breach the cocoon's walls. And it, as well as the body inside, remained fresh even months later. I should explain that the freshness is a common idea in the stories I've read about Onryō, and not necessarily something the wasp Kaiju did.
At some point he has wandered across districts, slowly calming down. The occasional screams of other spirits who flee from him or turn away tend to startle him again. His reactions slowly change from wild fright in his delirium that has him running and crying from no threat at all, to seeking out a shrieking soul to check if they're alright, to quickly realizing that they want nothing to do with him but he's not really sure why.
He's cooled down enough now that he can think a little. When he finally encounters a living person, the notion of his death finally sinks in. It's not so dramatic. He doesn't cry out, though his despair returns a little more. He just asks the stranger, "can you help me?" And while they turn, curious, they don't notice him, and become slightly perturbed when his hand phases through their shoulder. And so after contemplating his hand, Kafka wanders some more, wearing his glowing frown and not sure what to do at this point.
Cliché, I know, that he soon encounters a living shit-stain of a human being in an alley somewhere. Maybe some entitled wad that grins and keeps pressing if a vulnerable woman tries to tell him 'no'. The point is that Kafka would be hard-pressed to not kill and eat this guy. And Kafka is already in a bad mood.
So, you know...
Kafka has the villain wrapped in his silk, which was spewed from his fingers and mouth. The woman is long gone by now, having ran off as soon as the villain was distracted. Kafka is so full of white-hot rage that he slams the man into the wall a few times. And when he yells at him nothing legible comes out, only a roar of garbled language that cracks the concrete and has the bastard's ears bleed.
On some level Kafka knows something isn't right, and that he's doing something wrong. But at the forefront of his mind is wrath, retribution in favor of the woman this man harassed. Kafka gets ready to suck out this man's soul so that no one, alive or dead, has to suffer him again.
But Kafka is kicked in the head from the side and stumbles, dropping the sack. As an angry spirit, his inner chaos flares and he is like an animal, mostly in the way that humans are animals. He gets bigger in his posture, ready for a fight, and as a ghost, he gets some inches taller with this motion also.
Hikari Shinomiya has her hands on her hips and a bright face. "Hey there! You still in there, buddy?"
Kafka is confused by the juxtaposition of the surprise kick and the woman's friendly tone, and he backs away to look at her, lowering his hands. He unconsciously drips evil silk from his fingers, but it tapers off as he assesses the situation - even as impaired as he is. The nice woman in front of him must also be a spirit: her aura is of light. She doesn't seem to harbor any ill will toward him. The kick hurt, but also, it didn't? Kafka takes some moments to understand that she is solely addressing him. "Uh...?"
Meanwhile, Hikari carefully approaches him, somewhat like she intends to capture a scared animal. Slow, but poised to act if he makes any sudden moves. "I heard... a newbie was in town... so... Am I not too late?"
At the change of the script, Kafka's rage had dissipated. Essentially, he is still hurt and confused, and Hikari distracted him from his task. He doesn't want to hurt her, but also can't think of a way to disengage from her, and running away also isn't an option because he still wants to kill-a-little-bit this guy, so he freezes.
Hikari is able to take one of his hands in hers, the silk having dissipated. "There. See? Bet you other people were scared or ignored you, huh?" And she winked. "I'm Shinomiya Hikari." Then she blinks, registering something.
Kafka is able to speak again. As Hikari gets into his personal space and reaches for his face to scrutinize him, he leans away, physically and idiomatically shrinking, and says, "H-Hibino Kafka! That's- don't wear it out! There's been a big misunderstanding. I am very sorry!" He scratches his head with a free hand, chuckling nervously, " I just wanted to teach this guy a lesson and, got carried away... I dunno what's going on at all."
Hikari is distracted by whatever she noticed, not responding to his words. "Oh no..." and Kafka sweats. She holds his chin, squishing his cheeks, and wonders aloud, "just who did you eat already?"
Ok so I figured Hikari's been a ghost for a few years, and she knows or has at least heard that if you eat a soul, it can taint you in a way that locks you into a vampire-like existence, requiring you to sate a horror hunger with more souls. Hikari doesn't care about the piece of trash he wrapped up, but it would be best to prevent Kafka from eating him anyway so as to keep everyone safe in the long run and allow Kafka a friendlier coexistence with other spirits. Unbeknownst to her at first, Kafka has eaten a soul already, thus sort of dooming that neighborly relationship. But since it's not a person, it doesn't carry the same moral weight that would erode his sanity if it was.
I imagine that among vengeful ghosts who take up vigilantism and suck up human villains, there's a bit of a he-who-fights-monsters situation and they end up becoming corrupted one by one, devouring each other before being put down somehow. (I would totally watch/read something with that concept. Any recs?)
Also, I added more powers and quirks to Kafka than the original post. I already mentioned a couple of them here already and in Kikoru's Spirit Guy (in part 2, but here is also part 1 for those who want to read it). He has a sweet smell, which can be either pleasant like spring or candy, OR very oppressive, floral, and saccharine. Getting bigger and smaller is a subset of elasticity. Hikari can probably do it too. Kafka can also spray webs: clean ones like Spider-Man or a real spider's structural webs; or sticky ones laced with a psychoactive compound, the concentration of which depends on Kafka's choice and wrath. Unlike the killer cocoon, these sticky webs have a milder physical effect on their victims in the sense that they don't leave any marks. But they can still cause pain and additionally induce paranoia, hallucinations, agitation and/or catatonia. So, that guy he wrapped up is absolutely fucked already.
I have a suspicion that rather than including arson proper in his arsenal, pyrokinesis is more for lighting and putting out candles and lamps to control the light level. Thus to that end, he can also burn out light bulbs with a flash (though might not be able to turn them back on). I don't know when or if he'll use it.
Umm, that's about all I got for this point in the story. I have one more drabble thing.

*tosses out WIP*
This was supposed to be completed before Halloween but life says otherwise so you guys get to see Ghost!Kafka in the works. (Please excuse the shadows as my current lighting sucks and I'm at my sister's house.) Guess you can say his mask is gonna cause me even further issues in the future, lol.
Plus I already started on him before Venom began to poke at my brain. Do expect a Venomized!Kafka in the future though. Someone has to show this himbo love amongst all the Soshiros and Narumis even if it's species swaps, lol.

OMG 😦😦 my brain is only thinking how Kafka would breed us in a mating position 😳😳😳
Nnnnhshjjjd anon you’re activating my newfound breeding kink 😵‍💫
Even with a strap, she still feels a desire to see her cum leaking out of your hole, your belly all swollen with her seed and a need to make you pregnant despite not having a dick…
nsfw under the cut—————————
Kafka grunts as she slams her hips against your thighs, loving the way her cock slides so deep into your walls and spears you through so easily. You’d be gasping and moaning underneath her body with your hole just stuffed to the brim, Kafka easily bottoming out inside you as she gripped your hips tightly underneath her nails.
“Stay still…” she groans, suddenly grabbing onto your hips and pushing you forward into a mating press, smirking at the way you whimper when her tip pushes even deeper. “Oh? You like that? You like how full I make you feel, hm?”
She hides her hungry gaze by nipping at your thigh and pushing you impossibly far with her shaft, rutting her hips desperately as if the strap on were real and watching you cream all over her thighs over and over again. She loved it. She loved the sight of you being held down by her and being fucked till it felt like you could get pregnant. Staring at the bulge she was making from her cock as she watched it grow bigger and smaller with each thrust of her hips.
“Come on baby, make me a mommy…” Kafka groans, panting against your neck and smirking. “Gonna make you all swollen and filled with my children once I’m done with you…”
She pushes her hips further into your cunt and you writhe with pleasure as she keeps you pinned beneath her. Clawing at her back and leaving red marks all over while Kafka tries to breed you silly…

Meet Mizu Ashiro. Also Known as Kaiju n. 24
Tumblr media
(I am aware this is the BLURRIEST f*cking shot of my art, but I don't have access to technology where I can scan my art directly into my laptop that I work out of.)
See kids, this is what happens when a writer tried to branch out from their norm and try something they're not good at. You get shitty proportions, half the art is off the page, and your art style looks like a pre-middle schooler's attempt at a f*ckin' Mary Sue lookin' *ss OC. The worst part about this is I was also planning on drawing out her boyfriend as well, only to re-realize my drawing skills are sh*t and go back to waiting for izfaish to finish the Kn8 Pic crew that I'm assuming is still being worked on (which is FINE. That sh*t takes forever because you have to be meticulous with it due to compound layers and uploading it all. I'm sure it's a headache.)
I was even going to draw out a meme! Only having to sacrifice the space for it for the side profile. Doesn't matter. Back to having my artist skills hibernate until I can't take it anymore.
Anyway, onto the loooooorrrreeee!
Tumblr media
So the universe where I picture this happening is the same one where I headcanon Mina being ace-sexual. (I don't apply this to ALL my Kn8 universe headcanons, just the ones that have Mizu in them.) Mina and Kafka reunite, all the Kn9 sh*t goes down, things settle out and something happens that makes Mina consider dating Kafka. She's not really sure it will work due to her sexuality, but Kafka manages to talk it out with her and he's fine with it. They date for a couple months, have one hot and heavy drunken night out, only for Kafka to die about a week later by stray rebar on a mission while saving people.
No, I don't hate the guy, he's actually my favorite. I don't know why I wanted him dead in this AU, it just happened. I am well aware that due to Kafka's Main Character Energy, this is something he should be surviving from, but I like the morbid irony that comes with him living through all those previous moments, only to die by something mundane as Random Debris. And, I mean, I didn't completely disrespect his death, he died doing what he loved which was saving people!
So Mina catches on pretty quickly that she's pregnant and voices the concern with Hoshina (Who I also see as ace-sexual in this world.) They talk it out a lot, both of them listing pros and cons of having this baby, and eventually Mina decides to check out a support group for Widowed Wives and talks it out some more with them. She comes to the conclusion that she's going to raise the thing, but will make a serious attempt NOT to raise it to think that there is pressure to be something great and that it needs to follow in it's father's footsteps due to said father being a hero. In fact, Mina hardly ever talks about Kafka. If she does, she only mentions that they were friends, some stories she remembered that he told her about his time in the monster sweepers, and very rarely, talks about the two of them working in the Defense Force. Never once mentions that he was a Kaiju due to not wanting to cause her daughter to think that she was also a monster and hate herself and also, to be honest, no one had any idea what was going to happen to the kid biologically in a few years.
Mina keeps the pregnancy on the down low for as long as possible until delivery. The entire Third Division shows up for the delivery and congratulates her on the new daughter. There, she reveals who the father is and makes everyone depressed for a moment. They all agree to help her out any way they can, with Hoshina personally stating that he'll act as the Main Father Figure in Mizu's life.
So Mizu gets community raised by the Third Division for a few years and it's great, now calling and considering all of the division to be her Aunts and Uncles. She grows up with an unspecified heart condition that makes her heart beat really weird and causes her to lose her breath a lot and is prone to fainting spells (this is due to her developing her own kaiju core). She goes to school and it kinda goes downhill for a moment due to the other students bullying her because she (unfortunately) developed her father's heavy weight stature. It's not all doom and gloom as she makes a friend in the school's Manga Drawing club.
{Cliche tragic backstory ahead, Final Warning}
Fast forward to late middle school (around 14 to 15) and her class is on a field trip to the local museum to check out the new exhibit that showcases the life and achievements of Kaiju Number Eight, Japan's Hero. Her friend called out sick that day, so now she's left to defend herself from the wolves, i.e her bullies. Cut to the front of the museum and an incident happens. Mizu gets tired of somebody's bullsh*t and yells at him to stop.... only to trigger her first Sonic Screech near point blank at someone's face. (Don't worry, the kid lived. She's not that powerful yet.) This however sets off the Kaiju alert system and her class runs to the nearest bunker. She gets kinda lost in the confusion for a moment, making her behind everyone else. Once she makes it to the bunker's entrance, the teacher of the class, who saw the whole thing, panics and closes the door in front of Mizu, leaving her there out in the open. Mizu is left standing there and cries in front of the Kaiju Number Eight statue as she hears choppers out in the distance. The Third Division shows up along with her mother and everyone is wondering why the hell Mizu isn't in the bunker and where the hell is the Kaiju? Through her tears, Mizu explains what happened and tries to apologize for it, only to be comforted by her mother and the rest of the division. They do however gain suspicions and MacGyver up a test. They slide on an arm of a defense force suit and have it connect up to a screen. When it reads back 0% aptitude, it confirms that Mizu is now a Kaiju like her father.
Having not told her about this because she thought she wouldn't have to, Mina decides to break it to her daughter gently that she's a Kaiju like her father by using the new exhibition. Mina, Mizu, and Hoshina get the whole museum to themselves since Mina commanded that her daughter's class stays in the bunker for a extra three hours. Ya know... for safety. There, the two of them break it to her gently about who her father was and what she might be now. Mizu doesn't take it well at first, but thanks to healthy communicating, she's not that angry about it afterwards.
This, however does bring up a problem with the higher ups. They say that Mizu can't be with regular students anymore due to being an untrained threat to the public. Mina somewhat agrees but wants to let Mizu keep as much of a normal childhood as she can before sh*t totally hits the fan that is her new life in a few years. The Higher Ups are trying to strong arm Mina into having her daughter register as an officer of the Defense Force so that they can keep an eye on her. Mina discusses it with Mizu and they come up with a plan. Mizu home-schools the rest of Middle School at the Division and goes on to Neutralization High School to finish out her degree. Mina gives her the speech about how she doesn't have to fill in her father's boots or think that she has to be someone important to the defense force because she's a Kaiju. Mina says that she can convince them to let Mizu out of service once she can demonstrate that she has control over her abilities.
Something happens (I haven't figured out what exactly) and Mizu decides to stay in the Defense Force. After a while, she's offered a special place on a new team. It's called (for the moment until I can come up with a good acronym for it) The International Division. Basically, Japan has decided to come up with an elite task force made out of other counties's misfits and gather them together for the explicit mission of taking out Kaiju invasions with unusual circumstances or unusual Daikaiju cases around the globe for countries that don't have the man power or are in desperate need of over-powered back-up.
On the team is:
A Swedish tactician/medic(in theory)/and mechanic that's anaphylactically allergic to Kaiju material (and because of this) is also severely hemophobic. (42% aptitude)
A blind, Turkish Bomb expert with a special weapon / visor that helps her see and who's Code name is Pile Driver. (67%)
A German Mech suit driver (Who may or may not be a paraplegic from the waist down, I'm not set on the idea just yet) who's suit looks like a mixture of the Berserk armor and the Day Armor from the Castlevania Anime on Netflix. He also wields a claymore. (87%)
And an Australian man, born from a Texan Mother and a Floridian Father, who mains a trench sweeper shot gun (Look it up, its concept is terrifying) that can transform into an anti-tank rifle. His problem is that he's unruly, bloodthirsty, and possibly borderline insane. (72% as a sniper) AND THIS MAN GETS TO BE MIZU'S BOYFRIEND!
(Don't worry, he chill and has a thing for cats. He's just got ADHD.)
So yeah... that's her story... here's a quick breakdown of her design because I know ya'll can't see that shit.
Tumblr media
So I initially had a problem with coming up with her Kaiju design. Her whole thing is that she's the daughter of Kafka so her design should still look a little like Kn8 but with some more female connotations, right? How the f*ck does one do that? And it gets harder because all the kaijus in Kn8 either look completely alien or like a monster version of Unrealistic Peak Male Form. (I feel like there could be a really funny meta commentary about this, but I'm not going to get into that right now.)
Eventually, my brain came up with the thought of-
"What if we came up with some bullsh*t Kaiju science and said that because Bakko is a tiger AND a Kaiju, we say that there was some weird exposure/interference that changed some things for Mizu while in vitro."
So now I'm coming up with a tiger-like design for her (you probably can't tell, but to me the head looks more wolf-like than tiger but that's because my artist skills are sh*t) And for the most part, she just looked like an inverse-colored version of Bakko with a mane. At some point while drawing this out, I started to hate it because, like I said in a previous post, she just looked like a furry with a Kn8 style mask. Which led me to come up with some samurai like inspirations for her armor like what Kafka has on the lower half of his body. So yeah, now she has Shoulder Pauldrons, Upper Arm Bracers (I miscalculated her size so the lower half of her arms are off the page.), Rib/Thigh protection, and an armored snout.
She's mostly black with white stripes, most of the armor is dark gray with black borders, and all of the white areas glow Glacial Blue when she's powering up. And yes, the mane is white and glows as well. (She's my pretty little Magical Girl Kaiju ✨🫶✨)
I don't know if anyone can see this as well, but she also has these black little Horns? Attached to the outside of her ears. They don't really do anything, I just wanted to give the similar appearance of Kn8's horns without copying them directly.
As for Mizu Ashiro herself, I tried to split the difference and modeled her after both of her parents. She's got Mina's long hair and hair clips, but her father's spiky type of hair (Which is why it sticks straight out like that.) She's got her mother's eyes and ears, but her dad's eye shape and nose. It's also clear that she takes after her father in body type. (Gotta carry on the tradition of carrying them Tig Bitties in both Human and Kaiju👍)
She's a fairly bubbly and optimistic person, but definitely gets terrified very easily (especially around heights.) Thankfully, she works with a team that can talk her through it most of the time and is actively working on it.
She also grew up exhibiting a lot of Cat-like traits like making lap biscuits when nervous, murrping at someone when they catch her slightly off guard, and napping in the weirdest positions/places. Not even being in the defense force broke those habits out of her and her team likes to poke fun at them playfully when they happen.

chapter three - within the spider's web
 ↳ jorogumo!kafka x fem!reader
warnings - fem!reader, reader is a stellaron hunter, fluff?, pining, wc - 1k
Tumblr media
the stellaron hunters were quite well known across the galaxy - or much rather feared across the galaxy. they were infamous and you so happened to be able to become a new recruit among that group. it was nevr your intention but in honestly you weren't going to complain or even try to get out of it.
the stellaron hunters weren't as nearly as scary as you imagined. silver wolf was very laid back and sometimes just straight up ignored everything and everyone, blade kept to himself and you normally only saw him idly staring into the distance and sam too kept to himself but was more likely to engage in conversation with you. however the one that did have an unnerving aura was kafka.
kafka with her sly comments and snarky yet equally sly remarks. kafka with her confidence, looks and overall subtle controlling words. she intrigued yet unnerved you. she often was nice to you but you figured that was just a common courtesy she showed towards colleagues. she exuded mystery and never gave much about herself away, much like other hunters but for her it seemed different. however, unbeknownst to you, you had caught her eye.
kafka was quite proud of her kin, if she were to speak openly. she enjoyed the fear that her kins tale would ensue in others. however she also enjoyed keeping it under wraps - the thrill of knowing that no one truly knew hwta she was - and the only evidence of what she truly was, was presented in her powers in combat. the use of purple spider webs to entangle her victims, the symbol worn on the back of her attire and the same symbol that glowed upon her using some attacks. but she could always brush that off as her power and nothing more.
of course she was much younger than most of her kin, yet to develop most powers that developed with age, roughly at 400 years old, but no matter each jorogumo possessed that same instinct no matter the age. initially her interest in you was thought to be just the novelty of having a new colleague but normally it would wear off in a while, but her she was still increasingly curious about you.
until she had realised eventually truly what she was feeling and it made her curiosity spike. you were quite the stunning woman if she was being honest, someone she could see becoming something more than friends with her. and she quite liked that idea, however she understood some boundaries stood in the way. normally her kin didn't take interest in people in such a way, often only faking it to lead them into an untimely demise, and she didn't quite know how to go about it as the last thing she wanted was to harm you.
you had found yourself hanging around kafka alot more nowadays. you hadn't really a reason why apart from the fact you just felt naturally drawn to her, more so than usual. but you weren't complaining much, she was quite nice to hang around. there was something about her mystery and sly tongue that intrigued you about her. not to mention that the only times you had worked with her, you couldn't help but admire her skill. and it seemed that she was also loving spending more time with you.
however for the first time ever, she was struggling. struggling with her feelings. this was the very fist time she had ever felt so strongly about actually getting into a relationship with someone, a real relationship. and it made it even harder because of her origins but if she was determined to make this work and no longer struggle with such feelings. guess she would have to play the long game.
she had settled for attempting a courtship, yes she found it tedious and would much rather be forward with you but she wad barely considered a good friend in your eyes and perhaps before she may need to tell you about her origins.
you paid no mind to her increase in attention towards you, nor the fact that you seemed to be partnered with her on more missions. in fact you felt rather honoured that she was giving you most of her attention. and if you were being honest with yourself you had developed quite the crush on her, not that you ever thought she would take an interest in you that way.
but as your friendship with her progressed, she had decided that you two were at a point where she felt she could trust you with such a secret. and much too her surprise which turned into amusement, you had not been afraid but more impressed. you would admit to yourself that it was slightly terrifying but from what you had heard jorogumo pray on men not a woman such as yourself, so you had no need to be scared - or so you thought.
but now you had realised all the signs that pointed to that. and it made you feel slightly dumb that you didn't pick up on it, but you knew kafka and that made you feel slightly better that no one else picked up on it.
her confession off what she truly was had not hindered your friendship or her slow courtship in the slightest which only made her feel as if it truly was destiny. and now she had felt as if she could pick up the pace and be more forward with her approach towards you. eventually leading to her confession and the turning point in your relationship with the feared stellaron hunter. and truly become trapped within the spider's web.

when franz kafka wrote “I cant think of anything to write, im just walking around here between the lines, underneath the light of your eyes, in the breath of your mouth like in some beautiful happy day, which stays beautiful and happy even when my head is sick, tired, and if i have to leave by monday" it was actually my ghost talking via him
