Howdy to all my queers and disabled folks!

As I’m writing this, it’s my birthday, and I just released a new album that I’m super excited about! It’s called “Ganymede Gives Up The Ghost” by Stuffy Doll, and it’s got 17 tracks spanning genres from hip hop to screamy metal to punk to soulful ballads. Songs about a trans superhero, growing up, being sick, friendship, predators, the queer community, and so much more!

It even features the incredible Riley Silverman as the voice of The Narrator! (Not to mention that amazing album art by @ghostcashew)

If you like Hozier, Florence+The Machine, Slipknot, clipping., Lorde, Against Me! or honestly just any good music, I think this album has something for you.

Since it’s my birthday, I’m asking that you consider buying it on my Bandcamp, but if you can’t afford it, just stream it wherever you listen to music and please share it around. I’m putting all the money I’ve made so far into advertising this album because I really believe in it.

Things are changing for me and I want to give y’all a heads up! (TL;DR in the swipes and comments!) 💗 I’m taking a break from posting Tarot videos this month in service of integrating a metric fuck-ton of new insights and information. I’m curious if anyone else is on this wave? 🌊 The Sun is currently cruising through my Eighth House of Intimacy, Death, Power, and Transformation, and I’m honoring the fuck out that. 🌊💗🧙🏻‍♀️ Things are changing all around us, and correspondingly inside of us. We’re all connected, reality is fractal, and energetically speaking, the mosaic pieces are sliding out of and into place. Maybe you’ve felt the weird, collective tug to calm and clear yourself, to make space for something different, if not “new.” As a Plutonian-ass Shift Witch*, I feel it. It’s a hip hop track about a trans superhero grappling with why she defends a city that rejects her and what her role is. Finding the end of her rope and figuring out what to do when she gets there. The upcoming album will have more installments of this story, so stay tuned Dolls!

And here’s the reveal! The album art for my new album, “Ganymede Gives Up The Ghost”! The album will be available on December 1st wherever you get music

So let’s talk about it! This album has been an uncharacteristically personal experience for me, which a much more explicit look at my life than I’m normally writing about. I was listening to “Transgender Dysphoria Blues” by Against Me about a year ago and got to thinking about how it was closer than anything I’d heard to my experience as a trans person, but still not quite the same, and then, in a truly cartoonish realization, I remembered that I am, in fact, a musician with all the power to change that lol

It’s got Stuffy Doll’s first feature, Riley Silverman, because if there’s one thing I’ve learned in my trans journey, it’s that we can accomplish so much more when we work together. It’s got a bonus track, which is a reimagining of my song “Protomartyr In Verulamium” that sounds profoundly different from the original because the story of that song is about finding and providing refuge to the lost. “Give me refugees, mouths to feed”. When I first wrote those lines, I was preparing to move across the country to a new place, hoping I’d find something good when I got there. Now they remind me of our duty to each other, and I thought it made for the perfect end to an album about marginalization.

Hey Dolls! I’m writing an album (not the one that’s about to come out, this one will be the one after that probably) and I need some names to throw around. If you play D&D (or any kinda similar ttrpg), let me know what your character’s name is, tell me a little about them, and maybe they’ll be featured in it!

Also here’s a picture from a recent one shot I played in. My character is the bee hummingbird, Helena. She’s the daughter of the mayor of a tiny town hidden in the walls of a library, and she’s working on the campaign of her father’s opponent cuz she wants him to retire.
