2025 #8 The Power of 3: Divide Your Year, Reclaim Your Time
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Happy New Year—it’s 1st January, and 2025 is finally here woooooaaaaah. A blank slate, full of possibility. But this isn’t about resolutions. This is about creating a system—a life strategy that works every single day, not just for a few weeks in January. (This is my mindset rn !)
✒️..That’s why today, we’re talking about the 3-3-3-3 Method. Your year isn’t one overwhelming block of time. It’s not a marathon you burn out on halfway through(trust me). It’s a cycle of seasons—each three months long—designed for you to grow, adjust, and conquer in stages.
[You don’t need to control 12 months at once. You need to master each quarter.]
Why 3-3-3-3 Works
The biggest mistake people make is thinking success is linear. It’s not . Life happens in phases. When you divide your year into 3-month blocks, you give yourself permission to focus, recalibrate, and restart four times a year.
[Three months is long enough to see results but short enough to stay motivated.]
Four separate quarters means you have four fresh starts. No wasted time, no excuses. This structure keeps you accountable, productive, and adaptable.
Breaking Down the Year
Let’s go quarter by quarter !!
Q1: The Groundwork (January-March)
This is your foundation. These three months are about clarity and direction. You’re building the systems and habits that will carry you through the rest of the year.
Set specific, actionable goals for Q1—just three.
Focus on discipline, not motivation. Build habits that align with your goals.
Start small, but be consistent. Every day you show up, you’re stacking bricks.
Your mantra for Q1? “Brick by brick, I’m building my future.”
Q2: Growth Season (April-June)
This is where the seeds you planted in Q1 start to sprout. Now it’s time to double down.
Push yourself harder. Challenge the systems you built.
Evaluate: Are your habits working? If not, adjust them.
Stay consistent—this is the quarter where most people quit.
Your mantra for Q2? “I don’t stop when I’m tired; I stop when I’m done.”
Q3: The Grind (July-September)
This is the toughest quarter—it’s hot, it’s long, and the novelty of the year has worn off. But this is also where champions are made.
Stay focused on execution. Don’t lose sight of your goals pleaaaase I know u can do it
Keep your pace steady. This isn’t about speed; it’s about endurance.
Reflect: What’s worked so far this year? What hasn’t? Cuz we are not perfect!!!
Your mantra for Q3? “I thrive in the grind. I grow in the struggle.”
Q4: The Finish Line (October-December)
This isn’t the time to coast. These last three months are your chance to finish strong.
Tie up loose ends. Complete what you started.
Celebrate your wins, but don’t get complacent.
Plan for the next year. Use what you’ve learned to set bigger goals for 2026.
Your mantra for Q4? “I finish what I start. I don’t quit—ever.”
Tasks (ideas) for Each Quarter
1. Q1: Build Your Base
Identify three goals.
Break them into daily and weekly tasks.
Track your progress daily.
2. Q2: Expand Your Reach
Push your comfort zone.
Evaluate and adjust your systems.
Focus on consistency, not perfection.
3. Q3: Commit to the Grind
Keep going, even when it feels tough.
Reflect monthly: What’s working? What isn’t?
Stay disciplined, no matter what.
4. Q4: Reflect and Rebuild
Finish strong—don’t leave anything undone.
Celebrate, but use failures as lessons. FAILURES ARE TEACHERS !
Set the stage for a powerful 2026.
1st January: it's a Now or Never
It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of a new year. But here’s the truth: excitement fades. Discipline doesn’t. If you want this year to be different, you have to act differently.Today isn’t about January 1st being special. It’s about what you do with every day after this. Divide your year. Build your plan. And most importantly—execute.Because when December 31st comes around, and the world is reflecting on what they’ve lost or didn’t achieve, you’ll stand tall knowing you didn’t waste a single season. You didn’t just live through 2025—you mastered it.
one quarter at the tiiiiiime!!

Another year has passed, and with it the opportunity to reflect back on all that has happened. While my growth was not as dramatic as last year, I can still see lots of positive change.
I'll never have enough ways to say thank you for all the love and support you have given me this year. On to 2025!
(2023 summary here!)
#poorly drawn mdzs#art summary#Since last year's independent variable was PD-WWX; this year I used Lan Wangji.#Unfortunately his appearances were not very evenly distributed this year! Lots of LWJ's early in the year#then a dead period in the middle. He is forever my silly rabbit. I love drawing him!#If I have to put a label on this year; I'd describe it as 'experimental'. I pushed myself to do llots of new things!#I drew lots for dungeon meshi and that really boosted my growth. More body types -clothing details - expressions!#Ryoko Kui is a great artist to learn from and It made me realize that I had a lot to gain from doing more studies.#I also started working on a whole new genre of art! While it has taken a backburner spot - I'm working on a game now!#Digital art was my enemy last year but I have been getting a feel for it now.#Goals for this year is to 1) keep working on my personal projects 2) finish PD-MDZS! and 3) practice animation!#I didn't (couldn't) draw as much as I did last year...but I had to take a lesson in humility and taking care of myself.#Drawing is something I do 'for fun' but there were many times it became more stressful than it should.#I'm still learning how to find and maintain balance with everything life throws at me.#We are all works of progress and I am trying very hard to love the process and the journey! I don't really know my destination!#But I will keep taking steps forwards. I never want to be stuck and lost as I once was.#If 2024 was a rough year for you too; We're in this together. Let's keep taking steps together. No matter how small.#Love you all so very much. You've given me strength on the darkest days. Thank you thank you thank you.

Creating a vision board is an exciting first step toward manifesting the life you want. But let’s get real—slapping a bunch of aesthetic pictures on your screen isn’t enough to make your dream life appear out of thin air. A vision board isn’t magic; it’s a system. It’s how you organize your desires, clarify your goals, and give yourself a daily reminder of the future you’re working toward. So, how do you make your digital vision board come true? Let’s break it down.
Understand the purpose of a vision board
Your vision board isn’t just “cute inspo”; it’s a filter for your thoughts. Think of it as a GPS for your goals. Every image, quote, or word on it represents something you want to feel, achieve, or embody. Take time to really think about what those things mean to you. Do you want more peace? Financial freedom? Confidence? Success? What does that look like specifically for you?
Use it as a daily reminder
Make your vision board visible everywhere. Your phone background, your laptop screensaver, even as a pinned note in your Notion or Pinterest account. Every time you glance at it, ask yourself:
“Am I making choices that align with this vision?”
“How can I take one small step today toward this goal?”
Tumblr media
Break it down into achievable micro-actions
A vision board helps you see the big picture, but success comes from small, consistent actions. Look at your board and reverse-engineer each goal.
Want financial freedom? Start tracking your expenses or saving $10 a week.
Dreaming of a life filled with more romance and whimsy? Plan a solo museum day or start journaling by candlelight.
Visualizing health and fitness? Swap one sugary snack for a fruit every day.
When it’s broken down like this, it doesn’t seem so daunting, but it makes a significant difference. Each micro-action is a brick in the foundation of the life you dream of.
Create a plan of execution
A vision board without action is just a pretty picture. Pair your board with a system for execution. I love tools like:
Notion or Google Calendar: For setting deadlines and organizing goals.
Habit trackers: To build daily habits that reflect your vision.
Monthly check-ins: Sit down with your vision board and assess where you’re thriving and where you need to refocus.
Cultivate a mindset to match
The person who achieves your vision is already inside of you—but it takes intention to bring them to the surface. This means:
Being kind to yourself.
Building discipline, even when motivation fades.
Letting go of limiting beliefs that tell you it’s “too hard” or “too late.”
Your vision board is a reflection of your best self. Start showing up as them today.
Celebrate Small Wins
Every time you achieve even a small goal from your board, celebrate! Gratitude and celebration keep you motivated and signal to your brain that this new life is worth fighting for.
Tumblr media
Your vision board isn’t just about manifesting—it’s about moving with intention. Dream big, work small, and remember that every time you glance at your phone or open your laptop, you’re being reminded of the life you’re creating.

#i dont know what i expected but i was waiting for a friend and too excited to wait until later#malevolent podcast#john doe#john doe malevolent#john malevolent#malevolent fanart#grimm art#ep 43#ep 43 left me with a lot of thoughts ... i didnt quite like how much of a recap it felt like at times but that might#be because ive been relistening and like yeah everyone knows that john 🙄 but that's not the case for everyone and with monthly uploads#things get forgotten easily#i find the discussion of “humanity” so interesting because John has shown that without someone that he has forcibly grown to value as an#equal... something he cannot do as the king of yellow as he is superior to all of his realm and presumably stays out of other elder god's#anyway. without that equality and enviroment to grow he fails to reach his goal of compassion and falls onto old ways.#John. The King in Yellow. shown by both times each has found themselves in human form do not just crave power and influence!!!#THEY CRAVE COMMUNITY!!! an endrich being not born or raised with nothing but power and ego#CRAVES COMMUNITY.#His goal of “humanity” is not a selfless goal like John projects - it is ultimately somewhat selfish as he does not want to be alone!!#which makes this desire so much more human#i don't know maybe this is just me spelling out whats already there but the way john and the witch argued about humanity frustrated me#it felt like they were missing the point or that perhaps the “good/evil” “black/white” retoric was already realised by me and john needed#realise it himself . which is fair !!!#i dont know!!!!#the witch was talking about how bad everyone was and how humanity is cruel and john was talking about Lily (#who also frustrates me how shes used in the plot somewhat she was literally just a nurse doing her job bro#) but to John - yes internally he is struggling with his moral greyness and im so proud of him for growing being himself SO PROUD#JUST.!!! he wants community. he needs community. he loves his friend. 'humanity' at its core does not matter as long as you try to be bette#and i think thats awesome and i really enjoyed the episode#guhh im rambling enjoy my tag rambling i dont know i want john to have more friends :(#yorrick can be another friend godd i love you yorrick so silly
