ellie walked into your tattoo shop about fifteen minutes early, to which the receptionist told her to take a seat as you were still finishing up with another client. "she shouldn't be too long."

you had reached out to ellie with five or six amazing designs, all of which she loved. she had such a hard time choosing between all of them, but you managed to rework her favourite parts of each design into one. you both finally came up with a tattoo design that she was obsessed with.

ellie half expected you to be a middle-aged woman with black lipstick and face tattoos, maybe even half of your head shaved and the other side bright pink. your page didn't feature any photos of yourself, just your work.

so when you came waltzing out from the studio and into the foyer, ellie thought you were the client.

"hey, your next client is here," jess said, gesturing to ellie in the chair by the entrance scrolling her phone.

"thanks, jess," you said before approaching ellie. "ellie?"

she looked up from her phone at you, completely startled by who was in front of her. a girl about her age, fucking gorgeous. there's no way you could've developed such skill in so little time.

"hi, yes, that's, uh, that's me," she said as she stood, shoving her phone in her pocket.

"nice to finally meet you," you said, holding your hand out for her to shake. her breath hitched slightly as she took yours.

"you too," she mumbled.

"i'll take you back into the studio now, i've just gotta wipe everything down from my last client." you started walking into the back and she followed you.

"cool, cool ," she said nervously.

this wasn't her first tattoo. she knew what it felt like. she wasn't sweating, stuttering, and shaking before she caught a glimpse of you.

her breath caught in her throat when she realized that you'd have to sit between her legs for most of the appointment.

she was so fucked.

she stood awkwardly playing with her fingers as you sanitized the tools and the chair, listening to you hum slightly to the music playing. she could hear the buzz of the tattoo gun from other artists in the space tattooing other clients.

in the back, an older man was tattooing a woman on the back of her knee. that had to hurt. next to them was a older woman tattooing a woman not much older than you two.

"alright, we're all set. i'm just gonna put this up," you said, unfolding one of those old-timey partitions that princesses change behind in the movies. "it's just to give us a bit of privacy, since you're getting tattooed in a bit more of an exposed place, you know?"

"oh yeah, that makes sense. thanks."

"don't thank me," you laughed. "okay, not to be too forward or anything, but if you brought shorts to change into, i'll give you a minute. if not, i'm cool with you just taking your pants off."

ellie laughed nervously, knowing it didn't even cross her mind to bring shorts. "take me out to dinner first, damn," she chuckled, starting to undo her belt buckle.

you pretended to occupy yourself with putting your gloves on and preparing your table as she took her pants and shoes off, leaving her in her black boxers, your mouth watering a little at her toned thighs.

"you can hop up on the chair when you're done. if you can just like, throw one leg over each side— yeah, like that. perfect."

ellie couldn't believe that she was borderline straddling a tattoo chair in her boxers right now. in front of you, especially. fuck.

without much warning, you slid your swivel chair almost between her legs.

"left or right?"

"uh, i write with my right hand, but i can do some things with my left?" she swallowed hard.

you laughed, "are you getting it on your left or right thigh?"

"oh, uh," god, she was an idiot. "left."

"cool. i'm gonna put the stencil on, then you can look in the mirror and see if you like it. 'kay?"

she nodded, watching you peel the film from the stencil, trying her hardest not to tense up when your soft fingers placed the stencil onto her milky skin, sending shivers straight to her centre.

when she looked at it in the mirror, she grinned, rotating her leg around to get a good look. "fuck, that's sick. i'd be content with just the stencil, you know."

you smiled at her through the mirror. "well hopefully you'll like it better once it's actually shaded."

once you had her back in the chair, you began prepping your gun. "okay, i know you've had a tattoo before, i saw that piece on your arm. so you know what to expect, right?"

"yeah. yeah, i'll be fine."

"okay. if you need a break, just let me know, kay? thighs can be sensitive." you switched the gun on.

"will do."

you began the outlining, humming to yourself over the buzz of the gun. she watched your face focused on the lines, keeping a steady hand.

"who did your arm piece?" you said as you wiped the ink away, making brief eye contact with her.

"oh, my ex-girlfriend did it. she bought a cheap tattoo gun when we were teenagers and i was her test subject i guess."

"cute," you said. "i was just curious." you went back to tattooing her thigh.

you quite enjoyed how she'd tilt her head back when you shaded some more painful areas, the cords in her neck more prominent and the column of her throat exposed.

four and a half hours later, the tattoo was finished, and you placed the second skin over her tattoo. you gave her all the aftercare instructions, going over the dos and don'ts. she held her breath when you didn't move your hand from her knee until you told her to go look at it in the mirror.

"holy fuck!?"

"...is that a good reaction or a bad reaction?"

"it's fucking amazing! jesus christ, that's so fucking cool. oh my god. you're amazing."

you blushed and thanked her as you watched her check it out in the mirror, inspecting it and gushing over how detailed it was.

she put her pants and shoes back on and you walked her out to reception.

"i've got this one, jess. take a smoke break," you said, smiling at your receptionist. she thanked you and scurried into the back room.

"alright ellie, that's $200."

"what? you quoted me at $350?"

you just smiled and looked at her, leaning forward against the counter. "pretty girl discount."

her face turned red as she took out her wallet and grinned. she counted out the money, laying $200 in cash against the counter.

"you gonna give the next client who walks through that door today a pretty girl discount, or is it just me?"

"actually, you're my last. and for the record, you're the first to get the discount."

she smiled and returned to her wallet, folding up more bills. after you put the money in the register, she leaned forward and tucked a stack of folded bills into the front pocket of your shirt, pulling you in close. "pretty girl tip."

you bit your lip as you looked at her. her eyes flicked between your eyes and your lips, finally deciding on your eyes. "you said i'm your last client, yeah?"

"yeah," you breathed.

"what're you doing after this, then?"

"well, a pretty girl hasn't asked me to go home with her yet, so i guess i'll probably pick up a coffee and—"

"come home with me?" she breathed, leaning in slightly. "please."

you giggled, "like i could say no to that."

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron:

I was a Horse Girl TM, so I watched this movie a million times as a kid. It's honestly the best horse animation I've ever seen, all the backgrounds are gorgeous, and the soundtrack is incredible. Also the plot is anti-colonial/anti "taming of the west". Genuinely cannot pick a favorite scene, but I love the scene where Spirit commits many acts of violence against the US military <3

horsie :) I love how they use actual horse body language instead of just turning them into a dog. Also enjoy how the protags are easily understandable with just body language and neighs. Also the 2d and 3d animation blend seamless.

I cannot begin to tell you what makes this movie so good. It's a corner stone of animated media. The societal commentary. The incredible emotion of not only the story but the animation. The songs. Sound the Bugle makes me cry every time.

This movie was a key part of my childhood and “Sound the Bugle” still makes me tear up.

This is like the greatest horse movie of all time and I will not change my mind. I watched this movie so many times as a kid that both the VHS and first cd I had for it got ruined and we had to replace it with another cd LOL. I once convinced my teacher to let us watch it in class because it had a few scenes with Native Americans and we were learning about them at the time(It's about the old west and the expansion of the United States westward so it has some Native American characters but def not enough to make it a Native American film, but it does have positive representation I think?) The main character is the horse Spirit, a lead stallion for a herd of mustangs. His thoughts are narrated but he doesn't actively talk and the horse behaviors are pretty realistic, also the ART of it all, James Baxter was one of the lead animators for this film and his work is incredible, and hand done. Some of the behind the scenes stuff in the extras makes the animation look 3d its so good, and the camera work is also insane. As a horse obsessed child this movie was a staple for me, and I prefer it even over live action movies with actual horses. ALSO THE SOUNDTRACK OH MY GODDD how can I almost forget, the soundtrack for this movie goes so hard, I used to use some of the songs as hype music not even lying.

The Mitchells vs. the Machines:

It’s in its core about family, how we can drift and argue. Not because of one true fault, but because we are different. It shows how being weird and different don’t make you less of a family while not demonizing people who do have more stereotypical ‘perfect’ families. I think it portrays our humanity and the way we bond and what we do for those we love, what we sacrifice, so well. It’s so funny and so sweet.

It's funny and the family is neurodivergent and it's just really nice v good time it looks like anti technology at first but its clearly more of a criticism on capitalism I just really like that movie its pretty to look at.

It's funky!!! hang on, bullet point list time: - has such a unique and expressive animation style - has a lot of pop culture references that don't really feel overbearing - has honestly one of the best family dynamics in a movie I've seen???? - realistic characters!!! with realistic and interesting character arcs!!! - absolutely hilarious. makes me laugh every time i watch it :) - comedic villain! gotta love me one of those. also she's badass for a smartphone so - tHERE ARE FURBIES - basically it's very chaotic but also heartwarming, and it's honestly my favourite movie :D

Heartwarming story about family! Also kickass animation

Very good stylized animation. Well written and designed characters. Super funny and sooo heart warming. Fucking rad action scenes (again the animation is fantastic). The story comes together well, it's just quite well written. + Protective dad character who's not annoying as hell (that's rare!). I love every part of when they're at the dinosaur museum thing.

very personal ramble about my year and experiences, etc. under the cut. kind of neg just a warning but if anyone would be willing to read it the whole way through i'd appreciate it so so much

2023 was certainly... a year for me. had many highs but a Ton of lows, went forward one step but took two steps back. i'd be lying if i said i didnt struggle and know what to do for a lot of it

i did get to meet and even become friends with people i look up to, got to learn new things i didn't know before. and one of the problems i noticed throughout this year is i spent way more time than i needed to focusing on my usefulness for others and what i can do for people rather than prioritizing myself and my mental health. i think a lot of problems i experienced in 2023 was due to me getting too caught up in how i'm perceived by others (especially on social media like tumblr). for 2024 i want to work on this and be sure to put myself first in every situation and be the best person i see myself as -- not overdo it for the sake of others. i'm going to try being more straightforward with myself and how i choose to approach people. i want to be more involved in this fandom and get to know more people who love kirby better rather than just hiding away and watching from the side like i have for many years, waiting for them to approach me first at some point. i made a lot of progress on this a lot in 2023 but i could always be better :')

regardless though, i wouldn't have been nearly as ready to get back on track if it weren't for the support you all have given me throughout this year. august and september were two of the worst months i've ever experienced; i won't get into it (if you know you know), but goddd was it harder than i can even describe. i've never had to go through something that resulted in me questioning my Entire artistic ability, my whole worth, and whether everything i've grown and learned from is just completely fake. i couldn't look at my work and all of my social medias without being completely disgusted and disappointed with myself. i'm in art student too, so you can imagine how fucking hard it was to balance and muscle through that as well lol. it was nothing but hell. if i didn't get the support i did from everyone, i can say with full confidence i wouldn't have been able to pick up my pencil phone and get back to drawing Nearly as quickly as i did. in fact, i probably would still be deeply effected by it and not have the motivation to continue posting for at least a long while. so i seriously can't thank you enough for that. all the words i was told still stick with me to this day and gave me a reason to keep pushing and learn to better understand myself

im tearing up as i write this so i'll have to cut it short LOL but i want to express how deeply it means to me that through all the conflict i've experienced throughout this year, you guys were there for me and were so generous to offer your time to support me and help me out. knowing i make at least one person smile and enjoy what i post is enough for me. hopefully 2024 will be easier on the emotional rollercoasters, i think all of us could use a long break from chaos really lol

I hate how some people after season 2 are just putting hate on Aziraphale. I mean, he in fact, left the Crowley, but he had his own reasons as well, didn't he? Aziraphale have a very compliceted relationship with heaven but he is in fact an angel and he want to belong there OAAAAAHHHHH—

I know that thats grief after the ending but... Man his whole life or more like existance is not ONLY about Crowley in fact :/

Look how we get a chance to speculate why did he do that? What was his reasons? I think that the ending of Good Omens was (not only just marketing catch (that dramatic pause for a kiss and 'betrayal') but also a planned procedure? I love them both [Aziraphale and Crowley] equally so you shouldn't think this is a desperate attempt to protect your favorite (wha de duck I am saying, this series have a few months now so it is not a fresh topic... For me it is oh goddd ANYWAY)

Goosh, sorry for the mess. Lets start already. Yeah. Uh. Right. Right. Alright. Why Aziraphale chose heaven?

1. Aziraphale overall is an angel... Literally... So uhm he is naturally connected with God, wich he as well worships. He don't have to stand with heaven, but he still has a deep bond with good. Leaving the heaven would be, right, a great decision for his wellbeing. It's clear that he's not on their side. But he did not left his God. Saying 'no' to Megatron would be something that would make him feel terribly guilty and overall devasted, as he would disobey his own moral code and he would gave up a part of himself, I suppose.

2. For 6,000 fuckinf years he had been arguing with himself about feeling for Crowley, right now doesn't matter if platonic, romantic. He was renouncing Crowley so many times that he don't know him, he's not his friend. Yet he could not resist, but be with that redhead. Don't you think that he was having some, oh I don't know, moral crisis? Imagine choosing between two most importanr things? The creature you love and, for Azi, a literall purpose of creation - serving God? Oh man, he was in this state for over 6,000 years. If he would say 'no' then, would he ever get another chance like that to habilitate? He was working so hard, for so long, but he didn't had to chose through all those centuries. Now he had. I guess it's logical, that he choosed his creator.

3. Clear and logical! If Crowley would be back to heaven, he wouldn't have to choose between two thing he loves. Ah you clever one :). Nah. He literally said that he wants to work with Crowley. What can I say more.

4. Obvioulsy, he did not wanted to chose what we know of we SHOULD from serial. And pervious point... And previous previous. It felt like he had been lost or something in it all. I mean, he needed to choose if he wants to take Crowley, if he wants to go back. He was rhinking about the kiss, probably about heaven, what would they say, what would they do. To him, to Crowley. What he should say to Megatron. I suppose he was impetuous with that decision. Imagine lying (he is a damn angel whaaa) to yourself for thousands of years and then just having to confess. Nah, he would like better to stay silent and still lie 🙂 oh god why he is so stupid. Crowley is also stupid. They both are!!!

5. He was mad. Similisr to previous point. He felt like he did not belong with Crowley, as he was devasted. And also Crowley ignored him as well, as Azi ignored Crowley. But i want to focus on thing that he said that he NEEDS him and begged to not to leave him. Easy peasy. No communication between those doveys.

6. He was afraid of loving Crowley as - what would heaven say? What would god say? Will they be happy? Will they be safe? Is it really possible for them to be together? Demon and angel?

7. He considered himself as a failure for Crowley 👍 after he said yes, when Crowley was always saying no.

8. He was afraid of the consequences refusing heaven. Like, he literally was making out with devil, then went o heaven, hell's fire couldn't kill 'him' (ik it was crowley but not for heaven), he was hiding Gabriel, he did not cooperated with heaven. There were a few times when he sinned... A lot. Uhm. Well,I DO have a reason to suppose this could have been some kind of test or something... Because what the hell? From archangel, later no one, then back to the archangel?

Help Jon actually making the sound effects?? Again, I don’t have too much to say about this statement. Oh Melanie is actually going to kill them for taking out a bullet without her knowing. This was definitely one of Jon’s much worse and horrible ideas oml. I get the intention but man if I woke up to that, especially after everything I’d been through I don’t think I could forgive them, that’s such an invasion of privacy.

EP 126: Sculptor’s Tool

Wasn’t Sannikov land the place where Gertrude was taking Michael? Yup yeah it was. Man I get why Jon did it because he just can’t lose anymore people but goddd you should’ve just tried talking to her first. Martin being affectionate with the tape recorder aw. POWER? Y’all… What kind of ritual are y’all planning on putting my boy through?? Oh? Dekkar guy is back? Y’all I’m confused again I have a hard time keep track of characters :’)

EP 127: Remains To Be Seen

Von Closen? hmmm? This time I’m going to choose to believe these statements are left by Peter Lukas or Martin. Very out of character for Martin but idk it could be his way of trying to tell Jon what’s going on. Also nooo literally everyone close to Martin is dropping like flies and he’s being isolated by the avatar (?) for the lonely like goddamn someone (Jon) needs to help him. I think it’s really funny how Jon’s spirit has somehow attached itself to tape recorders and so they just randomly pop up and start recording bits that might be important for him lmao.

EP 128: Heavy Goods

Did he just deliver Daisy’s corpse. Y’all. OH WHAT THE HELL DID JON DO?????? HE TOOK THE STATEMENT HIMSELF????? BREEKON AND HOPE BACKSTORY??? DAISY ISNT DEAD??? There’s no way she stays in there because her character arc isn’t finished

This challenge is actually common, but the things I've seen on YouTube is mainly 10k steps, and with no diet or restriction so ofc they dont see results , even on term of toning or fat loss,wich is dumb lmao...

~~And with the end of this summer , I'm staying at a house near the beach with my family, and so since it's near the beach it is so easy for me to go for a walk!

•°•I'm staying for 4days, I'm leaving I think saturday, so these 4 days will be intense !! I will walk 12k steps the morning, and around 8k the afternoon that's what I did today, wich is 20,000 steps!! =)

!!!And it was quite easy to achieve! I'm mainly soo motivated cause I am stuck on 53.5 kilo it's been a week now, but I'm also constipated been 3 days I guess?? Idk why but it's very frustrating I feel disgusting...

°•°•And also the food is amazing, only fish and I got to do the groceries so I made sure there is no fatty food such as chocolate, chips ect... nothing I could binge on.. but my sister did end up getting chips and coke and also some chocolate for her sweet cravings. And obvious I cannot get that lmaoo, it's hers so why would my fat ass go and binge on it? Gross.

"Aren't you seeing James or whatever his name is?" Natasha chuckled again, dryly, evidently showing her distaste in the guy you were currently dating. You cringed at her words and looked down at your shoes, swallowing harshly like you'd just taken a sip of poison.

"Err, yeah, but it's Jamie, Tasha." You cleared your throat. She only glanced at you with a cocked brow, and you took that as a 'whatever.' "He's not that bad, Phee, not compared to the other guys I've dated..." You said, trying to win her over. Though it was not a fair fight - Natasha had obviously made her mind up about this whole kerfuffle.

"Y/N/N, you choose to date the most fucked up men I've ever laid eyes on," She laughed as her hand flew to her stomach to clutch it. "You can do so much better, it's like you don't know your worth. We all agree on this, by the way." Natasha gave you a single nod, casting her eyes around the bar as if to point at the squad.

"Um, even Mav?" You asked shyly and squinted your eyes as you awkwardly scratched the back of your neck, trying to act non-chalant. She glanced at your squished face and held back a giggle, not wanting to embarrass you. The pilot knew how you felt about her instructor, despite not having told anyone anything.

"Yes, even Mav." Natasha hummed, taking a sip of the beer in her hand. Before you could answer her, a familiar, yet unwanted voice appeared from behind you.

"Y/N?" A male voice called, and you turned around to face them, your heart dropping. You pushed a fake smile onto your face as you heard Natasha try and conceal a snort with a poorly-timed cough. Oh, god.

"Jamie?" You frowned, suddenly questioning why he was here. "What are you doing here?" You asked, staring at him, clearly confused at his presence.

"You didn't reply to my text, and I was worried you were in trouble, so I came to find you." Jamie replied with a frown making your stomach churn. He probably had your best interests at heart, so you tried not to read into his actions too much. "Looks like you're alright." He added with a nod at Phoenix, who cautiously returned it, eyeing him slowly.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks for coming to see if I was okay." You awkwardly smiled, running a nervous hand through your hair. You watched as Jamie pressed forwards and slid an arm around your waist, making Natasha's eyes almost fall out of her head. She stepped back, glaring as his wide body shoved her out the way. He uncomfortably pulled you tight against him, making you squeak.

"It's what good boyfriends do." He smiled, and you blinked at him, shocked at his words.

"Oh, y-you're my boyfriend?" You breathed out in surprise, eyes widened. Jamie nodded at you, his eyes gleaming with something you weren't sure of. "That's nice." You chuckled quietly, eyes darting to Maverick who was currently watching you and Jamie like a hawk. You gasped and quickly looked back at your 'boyfriend', trying to hide the blush that was currently painting your cheeks pink.

"Well we've been seeing each other for a couple months now.." Jamie frowned gently, confusion evident in his voice. Phoenix's head whipped around at the speed of light at his words, and you stared at her like a doe caught in headlights.

"What?!" She mouthed at you, and you threw her an awkward grin, looking back at the man who had you in his grasp.

"Yeah, I guess we have..." You trailed off and nodded as you slid your hand down to his vice-like grip to try and remove it from your waist. "Jamie, you're hurting me." You whispered to him, and he quickly let go of you, offering you an apologetic look. Natasha still had her eyes on you two, observing your 'boyfriend' like he was a laboratory experiment. Little did you know, so did Maverick.

"Guess that means I should stay and make sure you don't do anything stupid then, huh?" Jamie joked, earning a disgusted look from Natasha behind him. You were speechless, and utterly lost at how to reply, so you just played along.

"Err, yeah, I guess," You swallowed.

"So, how long have you been seeing that guy?" A familiar and warm voice suddenly appeared beside you, making your heart race. You turned around, finding the man you'd been desiring all night. A pink blush powdered your cheeks and you let out a gentle laugh at his question.

"Um, a couple months." You brushed a stray strand of hair behind your ear mindlessly. Pete smiled at you, his eyes trained on yours. You could feel your stomach doing somersaults inside and you cursed yourself for such a thing. "He's, err, nice," You laughed again, pursing your lips.

"He seems it," Pete nodded in agreement and knocked his knuckles on the wooden bar top quietly. You bit down on your bottom lip and chewed it momentarily, not knowing how to navigate such a topic. "I, uh, never caught his name?" Pete's brows knitted together as he kept his eyes on you.

"Jamie." You stared at Pete, and he stared back at you. The two of you knew there was an undeniable connection between you - it felt like two magnets being held so close together but never being allowed to connect. It was like torture. Your eyes swiftly glanced down at his lips, and you so desperately just wanted to kiss him, but you knew better than that. "I'm glad you're happy, Pete," You smiled at him, despite the sorrowful feeling beginning to gather in your chest. "It's about time, and it makes me happy that you're happy." You said with a gentle nod, catching sight of Jamie heading over to where you and the captain were currently stood. You held back a groan and clenched your jaw, sliding your eyes back to Pete who frowned at you, obviously noticing your change in behaviour. "Mhm," You hummed. "I'm just gonna pop to the toilet first." You said, throwing a glance at Pete. The captain stared down at the bar-top with a straight face, but you knew he was listening to your conversation. If you were honest, in your mind, you were imagining him following you to the toilets and living out your wildest fantasies.

"Okay, I'll meet you outside." Jamie stepped forwards to press a surprise kiss to your lips - in which you had no time to react to - so you accepted your fate and kissed him back, although it didn't feel right to you. Your hands fell onto the white countertops as you gazed down at the white basin, a distorted version of your reflection appearing in the silver faucet. As you stared at your reflection, another reflection appeared behind you, but it appeared more masculine than feminine.

With a soft gasp you whipped your body around to face the mysterious figure, but you were met with the someone you'd been hoping for. "Pete?" You breathed out, a little surprised at him being in the ladies room. "You know this is the ladies room, right?" You giggled nervously, glancing between him and the door. Your tense body relaxed slightly as he stepped closer to you, your hands still resting against the countertop.

"Yeah," Pete chuckled at your words, making your stomach do loops. You bit down on your bottom lip in a feeble attempt to distract your wandering mind. "I just wanted to see you again." He said, eyes never leaving yours. The way he stared at you made you feel like the only girl in the world, and to your dismay - it also made you breathless.

"Oh?" Was all you could muster up as he continued to step closer to you, until your chests were mere centimetres from one another. You swallowed thickly as his hot breath caressed your cheek, feeling your heart begin to go into overdrive. You were not an unfaithful person, you weren't brought up that way, but the way Pete was making you feel right now was really making you consider things...

"If you want me to go, just say so." Pete said quietly to you, his baby blue eyes glued to yours. You couldn't look away from him, he was so fucking captivating - like some optical illusion. Instantly you shook your head, and even though you looked desperate, you didn't care.

"No." You said simply as your hands flew to his chest; fingers knotting themselves in the collar of his leather jacket. "I want you," You whined softly, feeling small tears beginning to prick your eyes. "But..." You trailed off, letting your eyes fall to where your fingers were currently gripping onto his jacket. Pete nodded slowly, understanding where this was heading.

"I know, sweetheart." He mumbled, his eyes dotting over your beautiful face. You looked back up at him, gaze falling to his perfect pink lips for a slight second. During that miniscule amount of time, you debated everything. Was it worth ruining something with Jamie? Was it worth potentially ruining your friendship with Pete for something that is possibly just lust?

You looked back up into his eyes, and you knew that was it.

Within seconds Pete pressed his warm lips to yours passionately, his hands flying up to bury themselves in your hair. You whimpered at his touch and your hands slipped up to caress his neck as he pulled you flush against him; your thighs squeezed against the countertop as he pushed against you. Pete slid his hands down from your hair to your thighs and lifted you up so you were sat on the countertop, and instinctively you spread your legs so he could stand between them.

"Oh, Pete-" You moaned softly into his lips, feeling him smile against yours. "You're so much better than him," You said breathlessly in between his desperate kisses. "Shit, I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have-" Pete stuttered and shook his head vigorously. God, what the hell was he thinking? You had a boyfriend. He stepped back from you and removed his hands, placing them at his sides, before wildly running one through his hair. A look of hurt painted your face as you watched him walk away, your heart dropping in your chest.

"Pete, no, it's fine," You sighed, slipping off of the countertop to reach him. You placed a soft hand on his cheek and it seemed to ground him, his eyes flying to meet yours. "It's not your fault, I shouldn't have said those things." You whispered as the two of you shared a warm gaze.

"No, don't say that." His voice was quiet as his eyes fell from yours to the floor, and you couldn't help but feel awful. You watched as his jaw clenched; the muscle flexing underneath the orange glow of the bathroom lights. "You're with someone, and I shouldn't have done that." Pete sighed, clearly disappointed in himself. Jesus, how could he be so reckless?

"You're right, I'm seeing Jamie... but I want you." You said lowly, thumb brushing against his cheek. Your let your head fall forwards, and Pete started to feel the guilt begin to eat at him as his eyes studied your face. "I can't help it. There's something between us that I can't deny, I don't feel anything when I'm with Jamie, but when I'm with you - it's... different. I-I don't know what it is, but I want it." You rambled, stumbling over your words like a new-born foal. You looked up to find Pete's eyes burning into yours, waiting desperately for you to say the one thing on his mind.

"I want you too." He admitted quietly, almost sheepishly - he knew how wrong this was... you had a man. The energy between you two was just too intense to handle, and it wasn't something the both of you were willing to ignore. "Are you sure about him, sweetheart?" Pete asked, his smooth voice piercing the veil of silence that had suddenly plagued the room. You blinked slowly as you gazed down at the floor before averting it to Pete's warm one.

"No." You answered curtly, staring straight at the captain. He was right in a way, you never felt happy around Jamie - in all honesty, he was a distraction. Not to mention a way to stop your parents from hounding you about when you were going to 'give them grandchildren.' Every time the man said anything you cringed, grimaced or even gagged. What the hell were you thinking? The solution to this problem was standing right in front of you.

Almost too quickly, you fished your phone out of your pocket and dialled Jamie's number. Pete's eyes were watching you swiftly, quite obviously confused at what the hell you were doing. You had to swallow a gag as Jamie's voicemail echoed through your phone. "Hi, Jamie, err, I think we should see other people. It's nothing personal, so please, don't take it that way. I just don't think I'm ready for a relationship just yet." You said into the phone, eyes closing momentarily to think of some bullshit to spew so you could end whatever you had with him without heavy repercussions. At that moment in time, you thanked your lucky stars that you didn't meet him through mutual friends, but during a night-out in a different state.

As you pushed your phone back into your jean pocket with a single finger, you looked back up at Pete who couldn't hide smile that was growing on his face. After listening to you, he was certain what was about to happen.

"So?" He cocked a brow, awaiting your answer. A toothy grin broke out on your face.

"I'm yours." A soft chuckle left your lips as Pete walked forwards to embrace you in his arms, the musk of his leather filling your nostrils with a homey and warm feeling. This was not how you expected the night to turn out... at all - but you weren't complaining.

gonna incorporate this into my alternate season 7 fic, and wanted to make a quick brain fart post about it here:

spike should’ve had the chip taken out in season 7.

frankly, I think they only gave him his soul back as a way to still have him be a functional main character after doing what he did to buffy in seeing red - and even then it’s still hard to look at him the same way after that.

spike was already growing as a character on his own, beginning to do things for unselfish reasons, like comforting buffy in fool for love and (most notably) staying with dawn and the scoobies when buffy died. and it was so interesting and compelling! his struggle between his nature and his changing morals and feelings: wanting to be a monster again, to do what he wants and have what he desires, but at the same time wanting to be a better man for buffy and doing good deeds because of how loving her has slowly and imperceptibly changed him forever.

giving him the soul was just… pointless. his characterisation literally didn’t change at all, he spent maybe 3 or 4 episodes moping in a basement and acting crazy before being literally fine the next episode and seemingly not feeling that much remorse for killing robin’s mother anyway. the sleeper plotline was also useless, and would’ve been made way better if he was killing of his own accord having had the chip taken out, and feeling all sorts of complex feelings about it, leading to some juicy drama and character insights.

I think having the chip be removed would be PERFECT, as we could then explore how different he is to other vampires and how much he has grown. I can imagine him trying to feed on innocents and go on killing sprees, but not being able to, which doesn’t even make sense because vampires don’t have consciences, but regardless he just can’t bring himself to do it. I can imagine him feeding on rapists, kidnappers and murderers, much like angel when he first got his soul back, and being so utterly FURIOUS that he isn’t what he used to be (and especially furious that he kind of doesn’t WANT to be that person anymore).

idk man I just feel like there was such a clear route to go down, and instead they took the black-and-white approach and just said “he’s got his soul back he’s good now that wasn’t him” (even though his characterisation was exactly the same, but i digress). personally I prefer the much more interesting “he just got everything he’s ever wanted for over half the series and got the chip out, but he doesn’t want to be a monster anymore because he grew as a person, which vampires shouldn’t be able to do but spike is somehow unique and his love for buffy fundamentally changed him and now he has to deal with that fact and choose whether to become a hero or a villain of his own accord”.

What are your writing strengths? i’ve been told i keep things in character really well esp. dialogue, which is super cool and i’m really glad things come across that way. one thing that helps is to take real lines from the character and write them out to see how their speech actually looks written and not spoken, i figure stuff out better that way

17. What are your writing weaknesses? umm sitting down. writing. completing literally anything. not deciding i hate my wip and deleting the entire thing (i’m getting better about the last one, at least i keep my old drafts now)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? well the only other language i’ve done dialogue in is russian and i do not remotely know russian. so that part is google translate. that said, every “writing bilingual characters” advice post has said that real people don’t mix languages midsentence, but i really think that depends because where i’m from, you hear a lot of spanglish, which is definitely mixed throughout the sentence, so you know. don’t believe everything you see online i guess? anyway those are my thoughts

19. First fandom you wrote for? ough i’ve been writing for a long time so i don’t even really know. but first official fic? gotta be criminal minds. jemily <3

20. Favorite fic you’ve written? GODDD I DON’T KNOWW!!!!! maybe we’ve got to hold on to what we’ve got. i like whump and i like writing it, and i think it’s really in character not to mention it was very popular.

3. kayden from eleceed!!!! okay first of all shoutout to casein nitrate for being the funniest fuckin concept ive ever read in a webtoon oh my GOD. when he was in human form for the first time in front of the gang and ilhyuk and was like "why arent they giving me treats.." I WAS ROLLING OH MY GODDD. THE WAY HE INTERACTS W PEOPLE IN HIS CAT FORM IS HYSTERICAL. anyways as a character i rlly rlly like him because of how much he. cares about jiwoo like that's LITERALLY his son that's his little boy the found families in eleceed have me sobbing all day theyre so important to me. i also like him because of HOW STRONG HE IS?? LIKE HE'S SO YOUNG BUT HE'S RESPECTED BY EVERY AWAKENED BC OF HIS STRENGTH LIKE OMG. also he is so so gender im so jealous of him and kartein UGH. speaking of kartein him and kartein's relationship is great to me bc they bring out dif sides of each other that r super cool to see !! also theyre hilarious together . kayden's funny and he looks cool AND he kicks ass AND HE'S A GRUMPY DAD FIGURE like it does not get any better than this.

2. ijin from teenage mercenary/mercenary enrollment !!!! this one is my fav webtoon of all time 💓💓 i adore ijin because like...even after all he's been through and how grim and immovable his life has made him, he's still so so gentle with his grandfather and little sister. he loves his family so so much and it makes me ILL. speaking of his family i adore just how many families he HAS like he has the numbers, major kang and all them (his relationship w them has me absolutely dead on the floor the amount of rants ive gone on abt them is frankly worrying), dusik cha n his right hand man, and ofc his grandpa and dayeon!! he's so caring that he creates such strong bonds with so many people and they become irreplaceable in his heart and he would do absolutely anything to protect them. he puts the people he sees as family over EVERYTHING in his life and once a person has become part of his fam he becomes super protective of them <3 an example of that is once he knew that jiyeh was engaged to major kang, who was the first person to really help him understand what family means, he immediately added her to the ppl to be protected and went super far to protect her when she got kidnapped because he knows she's special to major kang!! someone in the comments said "his in-law!!" and that had me sobbing on the floor bc he got so excited and felt like he had to be cool in front of her AUGHH. he's such a sweetheart while also being an incredible and badass fighter and that combo is my fav kind of character 🫶🫶

1. MY ABSOLUTELY FAV IS TAEHUN FROM VIRAL HIT/HOW TO FIGHT. me and my buddy literally rant to each other all the time about him every time he shows up we're kicking our feet twirling our hair giggling.... i haven't finished his backstory arc (im paused at the beginning of it i've had to mentally prepare myself) but i like him bc he's really passionate abt taekwondo and was ready to teach it to hobin even tho he said he would beat the crap out of him the next time he saw him ... imo this was the turning point for them and if hobin hadnt gone to him to learn the back kick taehun wouldnt have become such an integral part of the hobin yu company(lol). i also rlly love that he was determined to start a newtube channel even tho he thought it was embarrassing aughh it was so cute!! also he watches hobin's streams and is visibly super proud of how far he's come and i think thats rlly sweet <33 i also love him bc he's incredibly gender like i wish i was him so so bad the mullet and the style and the LIPGLOSS AND MASCARA AND EYELINER and the snark and the asking for 500 won thing he's so frickin cool im obsessed with him AUGH!!! i just think he's super cool. another reason is bc of how obviously fruity that guy is like oh my god he cannot be normal for 3 seconds every time he's trying to intimidate someone he has to get all up in their personal space like,, be fr. when he first confronted yeonu(?) did u see that pose bruh what was that. every time his fangirls show up in v-hit's chat im like theyre LITERALLY me i could not relate to them more honestly. i made him an entire pinterest board . the entire reason i started reading v-hit was for him bc my friend told me abt how cool he was and i just had to get in on that so,, yaya !!! he exceeded my expectations a thousand times and ilhsm

I LISTENED TO IT AND AHHHH I HAVE SO MANH THOUGHTS, SO I HOPE YOU DONT MIND A BUNCH OF NONSENSE RAMBLING. i tried to document my thoughts by each track but it was a bit hard cause im working. i was asleep when it dropped but i had to listen to it the first thing when i got to work!!! and OH we are so back.

anyway here are my rambles! :D

nomad - WE ARE LITERALLY SO BACK. (ik this was a single but hearing it again was like omg just such a reminder!!!)

sexy to someone - always always a bop and like the transition between the singles is cohesive and i adore it. also like that she put both of the singles back to back to make room for the rest of the album too!!! a good fav

second nature - love it. def feels like a grower on me though.

slow dance - the flute part toward the end was interesting. def the percussion reminds me of immunity w the snare. love it??

thank you - i love the upbeatness of this omg. i think this might be my favorite so far!!!!! literally so good???

terrapin - i loved the percussion on this one. it feels reminiscent of immunity in its simplicity but also like sling with how everything fits in tandem with one another. its so calm and chill and i def think its a favorite for me. like second to thank you. i like the lyrics too. it just feels nice.

juna - okok i think i have to take back what i said on the last track being my second favorite so far. this one trumps that one. its my def 2nd fav. its GOT SUCH A VIBE UGHHH I LOVE IT. i know i keep bringing up the instrumental but holy shit i adore this sound for herrrr. her vocals on this too. it fits her!!! its so good. we are literally so back. eating so good as clairo fans.

add up my love - FUCK SHES MAKING IT SO HARD TO CHOOSE A SECONF FAVORITE ON THIS ALBUM. ITS LITERALLY SO GOOD TOO WHAT THE HECK. I LOVE THIS ONE OMG. LIKE- ATP GIVE IT A 3 WAY TIE FOR SECOND PLACE UGHHHH I LITERALLY ADORE THIS ONE OMG. LIKE ITS GOT SUCH GOOD VIBES AND GODDDDDD THE PERCUSSION!!!! echo - okay this one was good but i didnt feel all that blown away over it. it definitely was nice and i liked the second half of it, but i feel like this ones a grower for me in terms to the track list so far. HOWEVER THE FUCKING TRANSITION INTO THE NEXT SONG!!!! WHAT!!! THATS LITERALLY SO EVERYTHING!!!!

glory of the snow - i liked this one omg. i feel like i sound like a broken record but this one was really nice. i dont think it compares to the earlier tracks for my favorite because theres so many already but if i had to itd be on that list toward the bottom. its definitely a favorite but slightly less favorable than the others i was freaking out about. she really has made it hard to pick favorites on this album ffs. 😭. ALSO THE SONG TRANSITION TOO??? WHATS WITH THAT MA'AM!!!

pier 4 - this definitely felt like a good closing track to end the album. i enjoyed it overall. it feels like her, but in a different perspective. its not immunity and its not sling but a whole different thing that feels like it bonded the both together. i think this album is sooooo good for her and like her best work yet but i dont think i could compare it at all to her other albums because they feel like their own seperate lives and beings. its somewhere in the middle of them that brings out the best parts of both of them that charm lives. its genuinely a good album and has so much replayabilty for me. i loved it!!!! i think i have to listen to it again to grasp a list because the songs meld so cohesively that it makes it hard to remember my feelings on them because im so caught up in the moment of being excited for the new music.

Righty so ive been seeing your lifesteal art for a while and I made the decision at the immaculate hour of 12:14 at night to watch it, but I’ve got no clue how to start. IM LATE ANON SORRY ABT THAT uhmmmmm. so the lifesteal smp is a server where if you die you loose a permanent heart off your health bar and if you kill someone you gain a heart (hence the stealing part). think, life series if seasons went on for months. alliances are made, broken, treasured, people are killed. all the good stuff.

starting lifesteal smp can be a little overwhelming because theres so many people but you just gotta choose a pov and run with it. also keep in mind that it doesnt have life series/hermitcraft style of progression as the episodes are more like highlights of what happens in the server. i would recommend starting with the season 3 videos since imo its the easiest season to start with. my personal pov recommendations are here

sometimes content creators wont have their videos organized, but theres playlists out there that compile videos from each season

also just a side note but members put so much effort into yt vids and thats why sometimes theyll take a while to come out. editing in some of these videos go SOOOO HARD OHHHGH MY GODDD(thinking roshambogames)

1: What is your favorite thing you've written or made? oh goddd this feels serious now lol- oh god okay. so I don't really have one favourite, it kind of changes with whatever fandom I'm mainly working for atm and of course over time writing changes and everything, but for top gun right now my favourite is definitely, by far "same old truck"!

2: Top 3 favorite creators you want people to check out? favourite creators, honestly, I'm having such a hard time choosing just three!!!!!! for top gun it's gotta be @tongue-like-a-razor and @sometimesanalice because everything they write is just a masterpiece and idk how. and in general absolutely @friendlyneighborhoodcapricorn and @perasperaadastrawriting, their writing is absolutely immaculate and I am in awe.

3: An idea you have for a future work that people should look out for? and, well, something people can look forward to is definitely part four to my ice Ice baby series!!!!! I am promising you babes it is sitting in my drafts, I was just hyperfocused on Bradley and Jake for a hot minute but I'm back on my Iceman bullshit now and I know so fucking many people are looking forward to it just because my tag list is growing in number so fucking quickly but it's there!!!! Holy shit I got GOOSEBUMPS. GOOSEBUMPS I TELL YOU.

First of all, MISTER ZHOU HAOSONG (aka HIROMATSU SHU) AND TEAM, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HARD WORK ON THIS MV.

Second of all, THE SONG. MY HAIR IS STANDING. THANK GOD FOR THE FULL VERSION. CHILLS. HANA HOPE AND DONGURI AMENO AND HAYATO TANAKA, THANK YOU

I fucking love the lighting. The detail. Oh my GODDD. I fell in love with the glossy effect, in particular. And I don't really understand the technical term, but I feel like the storyboard (and its execution) is incredible. There is no frame wasted and everything serves its purpose to tell a solid story in under 4 minutes.

It is really apparent that the first part is about the legends in their peak days and how it brings them not only everlasting glory known to this day but also sorrow, regrets, failures and suffering.

These particular shots really struck my heart ngl. Arjuna with conflicting feelings (an understatement) after defeating Karna, Jeanne executed in the pyre even when she still believed in God and the good, and Fran being rejected by her creator that she only had herself to hug her.

Then the second half is how even as they hold those pain in their hearts, they move on in a second chance, answering the calls of masters from different eras for a quest for humanity. As the song tells, they still choose to walk forward and trust that there is still something beyond their own life-tale- that's worth fighting for.

I love hands as the bridge of connection between human beings. Besides the aforementioned shots above (and the others that also show the same amount of tragic ends), there is also when the heroic spirits run towards and grasp the hand offered to them. This imagery is something so sincere that it is both so divine yet so human.

And it is tied with how Ritsuka becomes Mash's master, as they offer their hand and she takes it.

Just like how these legends had good and bad in their lives, it is also how it is with mankind. In that aspect, people haven't changed that much, from before and far in the future. Mankind are highly flawed with all the conflicts they inflict yet the good of humanity still exists enough that they are still worthy to live and fight for. And isnt that the general theme of FGO

I noticed that at least for the main representations of the 7+extra classes, none of them is 100% divine being or nonhuman. (Even Fran is made as an artificial human) So the human drama applies very much to their life, whether they gain glory and suffering from it or simply a living record of it.

I noticed because I actually wanted Brynhild to be the Lancer representative lol.

As OG Jeanne fan, HELL YEA ANIMATED JEANNE AGAIN!!

I love the scenes with Fran and King Hassan in their respective original life. So loaded in sadness (Fran) and mystery (King Hassan)

Especially that Iskandar scene. He flaps his cape while the stairs and the statues rebuild themselves to give way to the king. BADASS.

These two scenes and their transition, just, SO DAMN HEAVY. And the explosions reverted back, symbolizing that there is a possibility that humanity -past and present- can fight to avoid the bad future where everything including the human race is eradicated.

Really deserves that "Beyond the Tale" title. It's even beyond the intended use as a promotional video for a video game. It's pretty much a form of celebration of humanity for me. Probably this will become my new favorite anniversary theme.
