These little guys belong to her in her lovely god AU. They were really fun to draw! I loved doing it so much ^^

When it happened, it was a *shock*.

No god nor angel expected an elder god such as the Writer to unleash its wrath on such a wide and grand degree.

The multiverse shook at the seems, as 10,000... things. Automata. Constructs. Not angels, but wielding power on the same level.

As 10,000 of them were unleashed upon reality, set to kill every god which was around when the Writer's first angel was murdered.

The number of gods that were killed in that crusade is hard to calculate -- we know that it was at least 50,000, but the exact number is unknown.

What is known is that the Writer itself dueled, and killed, at least 1000 of them personally.

When the crusade was over, the Writer had only one message:

"I have taken my revenge, however, if any god -- of any rank -- harms one of my angels ever again, I will not hesitate to decorate the multiverse with their blood."

Ever since, the Writer has been only a minor force in the multiverse -- with old gods being terrified, and new ones hardly knowing that it exists.

What is known is that it has 2 angels, who occasionally venture from the great library which is the Writer's realm.

Those angels are the primary source for a majority of our modern information about the god.

They find that, so long as they wear an emblem bearing the Writer's sigil, they are safe throughout the multiverse.

Headcanon: what if Nightmare secretly had the paper of his AU from the doodle sphere in his book before he ate the apple in dreamtale?

Also second Head-canon, what if the other Nightmare had that same book that helped him gaining knowledge of other universes by taking their papers away?

i LOOOOOVE this idea.

i like to imagine that he has a book that he stores the pages in.

and upon the discovery of the multiverse pages, he either asks ink to store them in his book for him instead of being scattered around, or..........

this is his multiverse now.

alternatively: i think that nightmare running off into the multiverse in curiosity and adventure because of this will cause him to leave dream behind and fend for the tree by himself,

making a whole new variant of a swapped dreamtale.
