June's joyful fictions
I can't believe June is over and I've managed to read so few fictions, what with work and trying to focus on writing my own. Few, but really, really good! Here they are! As usual tagging the writers whose tumblr username I know. Spread the love!
WIPs:
The Last Angel by @bellisima-writes.
Amazing canon divergent fiction where Crowley and Aziraphale were never assigned to earth, armageddon happened and hell won the war. There are ok fictions, there are good fictions, there are excellent fictions, and there are those fiction where you simply can't believe this is not the author's actual job. Like, they do something else in life, as a day job? And then have the audacity to write like this? This story is great, the world the writer creates is incredibly believable, the characterisation is spot on, but that's not all. You read and you want more and you want to be in on it, and you can't wait to know. You won't regret reading this story. Rated E and updated every Wednesday.
Complete stories:
My Heart Was Always Yours by @addledmongoose.
Another incredible work by one of my favourite fiction writers. I was so impatient for Fridays to come so I could lose myself in the two new chapters of this fiction and I'm going to miss the Crowley and Aziraphale in this story so, so much. Canon divergent universe where Aziraphale and Crowley don't meet until present day. Each of them thinks the other is human and each of them wants to prevent the apocalypse. The plot of this story is incredible and moves at a fast pace, but the main characters are the real treat. Their chemistry is incredibly well written, the humour and wit are spot on and you will fall in love with them. Rated M.
On The Same Page by Chekhov.
Thank you so much @dashuntsel for recommending this great fiction! It's a human AU where Aziraphale and Crowley are both writers. Aziraphale writes Christian books, Crowley writes adult books and they help each other out with their writing. Until they have to pretend to be married. This was such a good read, I really couldn't put it down. It's almost exclusively narrated in Aziraphale's POV but the mutual pining is evident and the build up to them resolving their issues is so bittersweet and deep and just lovely. There is a happy ending, don't worry. And the side story will really... aargghh, I won't spoil it for you, just read it. Rated E.
Series:
Whickber Street Traders And Shopkeepers Association Daily Observations by @waitingtobebroken
This series was incredibly funny and entertaining! The shopkeepers of Whickber street come up when their theories about the mysterious friend of the bookseller. Each story of the series is told from one of the shopkeepers' POV. The last story is Crowley setting the records straight and it only makes sense if read last, but the order you read the others doesn't matter. The last story is also the one dearest to my heart in the whole series. Prepare to fall in love with Mutt.
One shot:
Far Too Much In Love To See by imperiousphasmid
Oh, the fluff and the sweetness of the fiction! Just what I needed! Crowley and Aziraphale live happily as a couple in the South Downs, but sometimes go to the bookshop for a day. Every time they go the same customer visits the bookshop. Jealous Aziraphale is simply adorable. Rated teen and up.
Hope you enjoy these wonderful stories as much as I did!

Once upon a time, there was a Good Omens fanfiction reader, who swore they didn't like AUs.
They read all the discussions about the 'classics', the 'must reads' and shrugged.
"But it's not canon", they muttered to themself. "They're not human. How on Earth can anyone write these stories about them when they're not actually bloody human? It’s not right."
And then, dear reader, they were persuaded to read just one AU. They were still an angel and a demon, just in a slightly different universe. And then...then they tried a human AU. And then...then they were hooked. Obsessed, one might say.
That reader, dear reader, was me. Of course. Obviously. Well, duh. And I would like to share the obsession in the form of some recommendations.
I have the wonderful @shadesofecclescakes to thank for MANY of these absolute beauties, she is absolutely the QUEEN of recommendations (and medicinal gifs).
So, now, in no particular order, some Highly Recommended AUs:
Or Be Nice by charlottemadison Rated E - A is a bookseller, C is a drummer, they are BOTH petty bitches. They're newly neighbours. C has a CAT and I'm there for it, he also has migraines and I hard relate. It's bitchy and the pranks were DIVINE. It was also deliciously spicy. The loveliness is that the author really captured the flawed nature of humans but also how it can be overcome. Same author as What We Make of It (what was Shotgun Wedding - an absolute GO AU CLASSIC and one of the best things I've ever read)
Not a Mounted Dildo but a Fuck Machine by NaroMoreau & summerofspock Rated E - So very, very E. This one was just filthy. So wonderfully filthy. The authors would like to tell you there was no plot to their porn, but there really was. A meets a girl online, because A is straight. He really is. Honest. But then, oops, lockdown happens. But, it's a good thing, really. For his best homeboy C is there, to help this poor virgin 'learn the ropes' for when lockdown is over and he goes on his first date...with the girl he's so very much into...coz, no homo, yo...;)
The Whole Damned World Seemed Upside Down by WyvernQuill Rated M - An AU in the way that it's still angel/demon but after Crowley makes a wish for things to be 'different', the universe obliges...and he's dumped into a reality which is very, very different to what he knew. He learns some truths and there's a whole lot of drama. Beautifully written with a wonderful plot and great drama. Excellently described and would make for great TV. (Oh, and Death in the new reality is really squeamish - it's brilliant.)
Telling Tall Tales by Siobhans_World Rated E - A sweet pretend relationship fic, where A pretends to be Maggie's boyfriend to help her pass as straight for her family. But he then meets her cousin, C, who he then inevitably (ineffably?) falls for. Miscommunication, angst, fluff, gay panic, it's got everything.
Flawless by @mrghostrat & @chernozemm Rated E - I've decided only to include one fic by each author and boyyy was it hard for ghostrat! But Flawless was, well, flawless. For such a relatively short story, it kept us guessing until the end. The characters were all beautifully written - the flaws (ha.) were DEEP and CRACKED but so fucking perfectly sculpted and presented. It was incredibly real and believable. Extremely maturely written and satisfying. AND THE ART!!!
How To Pull An Angel: A Bunnings DIY Guide by NascentSurrender Rated M - When I first saw the title, I thought it was going to be a silly, irreverent, comedy romp. But it was actually a funny, well written story that will stick in my mind always. Firstly, C watches Bluey - which is now CANON for me. Secondly, having lived in Aus as a child, I've got a soft spot for the country anyway, and I've barely ever seen it come up, so this was lovely. There were some wonderfully humorous bits, but also tender and beautiful moments that I adored.
Montreal Confidential by Maggie_Honeybite Rated E - I learned about Montreal (and Canada & their baked goods), classical music and mafia stuff in this fic. A is a widower. C plays the cello. His cello's name is Bentley. This is one of the only age-gap, mild D/s fics I've actually gotten into. There's fluff AND drama. CW for non-con (not A/C)
Under the Summer Stars by @pannotbread Rated E - an amazing astrophysics/astroecology/astrobiology fic that has pining, slow burn and Only One Telescope (yes, really, and it's everything you'd imagine). It's got beautifully written (erotic) imagery and So Much Science that's been written accessibly but still with amazing detail. It's poetry. It's hot. It's gorgeous. CW for internalised homophobia and self hatred. *Not completed yet*
Oddity by @tsyvia48 Rated E - A museum fic! About David Bowie! A is in charge of collections, C is an actor hired by (highly incompetent) Gabriel to guest curate a new Bowie exhibit. Miscommunication ensues for delicious tension. There's bitchiness, there's a bit of light angst, there's a lotta love. *Not Completed Yet* Poetry Carved In Flesh by @fellandcrow Rated E - I'm obsessed by tattoos. Hence, I am obsessed by this story. I'm planning a(n enormous) GO tattoo once GO3 is out, and this fic has actually helped me with my ideas. London-based A stalks lovingly follows Edinburgh-based tattoo artist C online. They build up a rapport. Well, C likes A. A is SMITTEN with C. C encourages A to get tattoos. Which he does. C designs a tattoo especially for A, the fic has currently left off at the point where C is in London and going to tattoo A. *Not Completed Yet*
There Is A Light & It Never Goes Out by @phoen1xr0se Rated M - A escapes from a disappointing, chaotic life to a remote island for five months to do research on puffins. There he meets lighthouse keeper C. Who also ran away, 20 odd years ago. There is a chaotic, found family on the island, but it is small, and it is lovely. This fic is written with love and passion and the imagery is so beautiful. The author has actually gone to do Actual. Physical. Research. on puffins. So how is THAT for dedication? Cannot wait until it resumes. *Not Completed Yet*
Ok, because I am Bad At Tumblr, I've not tagged the majority of authors, if you are on here - please let me know if you're here and I'll edit!
I should probably add in the following, I suppose. I'm writing an AU.
Free by, well, me. Imposterssyndrome (yes I know it's Imposter Syndrome, but that one already existed) Rated E - A runs a bookshop, C has an unfortunate past as a runaway ex-addict. They meet in an acute mental health ward after both having had a mental health crisis. Eventually A invites C to move in, and they navigate sharing a space, and their lives together. The story starts heavy, and is an emotional roller coaster, but there are moments of fluff and smut mixed in. There is a happy ending, I promise. It's a passion project, heavily researched and has a LOT of lived experience in it. I've gotten to know some amazing people through it who have messaged me and shared their experiences and I'm so glad I wrote it. *Not Completed Yet*
Last thing to say - once I finish Free, I will be teaming up with @shadesofecclescakes to write another human AU which is VERY much in her wheelhouse and I CANNOT FUCKING WAIT. I just know you're all going to LOVE it. The only thing that will make it even better is ART, so we're still on the hunt for someone.
**Last-last thing to say. I’ve missed off a few Biggies. There are some super popular AUs, mostly written around 2019. Most people will have read them. I’ve tried to focus on the perhaps lesser-known & WIP ones. Although I know many people don’t read WIPs, hopefully you’ll (book)mark them for future!**

I wasn’t going to read Demonology and the Tri-Phasic Model of Trauma: An Integrative Approach because I don’t like the effect that long fics have on my life. And everyone is so effusive about it that I knew this one would take over, divert my attention, and generally get my brain in a choke-hold.
But I was weak and thought “Just read the first few paragraphs, maybe I won’t even like it.”
Reader, I liked it. Now I’m about to start Chapter 4 and this fucking story can do what it likes with me, with my life and my productivity. It is so. Fucking. Good.
I’m not even halfway through but, dear lord!
@mouseonamoose doesn’t need the help of my little blog to bring even more droves to this juggernaut but it’s so amazing I’m posting the link anyway!

Are you a big fanfic reader? What have you read lately and what's been your favourite fic so far?
Oh mannnnnnnnn. Why don't you ask me to pick a favourite child while you're at it???
Tumblr media
Just kidding. I don't have kids. But I assume having to pick a favourite would be hard if I did.
So, am I a big fanfic reader? YES. And what haven't I read lately? We are lucky enough to have so many talented writers in this fandom that it's possible to subscribe to numerous multi-chapter fics to the point where you're just constantly getting update emails. Which I do. It's great. It gives me something to do at work aside from, y'know, work.
Tumblr media
*Me at work being smug about being paid to read porn* (Also I just wanted to look at this gif)
So what is currently on my endless update list? Coming up after the cut!
I am an absolute whore for human AU, so if you like that then you will probably like:
The Cure for a Broken Heart by @rofell
a medical student AU based in the Canadian medical system (I'm a Canadian so I was pretty excited about that). It manages to tackle the continued systemic discrimination of Indigenous people in our medical system (and in general), homophobia and the ensuing trauma from those things all while also being informative, funny, sweet, romantic and hot af. Like. It's so good.
Free by @maaikeatthefullmoon
This is another one with with a heavy topic that also does a great job of making sure to break it up with some excellent fluff, hurt/comfort and humorous moments. And it's handled with the sensitivity and thoughtfulness necessary to write something that takes place in a mental health ward and deals with some intense situations. Definitely make sure to read those author notes before diving in. They lay it out very thoroughly.
The Sincere Way by @tsyvia48
A martial arts AU. Crowley is a karate sensei and Aziraphale is his student. Slow burn that keeps you on the edge. The screams I have scrumt at my screen over this one. Plus you learn a lot about karate (but it never gets boring or over-explainey. Excellently balanced) which is pretty cool. Mostly light (there is some angst. This is the Good Omens fandom. I think we are all sad, wet chihuahuas at heart). Funny and sweet.
Terminus by @emotional-support-demon-crowley
Plus One by @caedmonfaith
Astronaut AU. Aziraphale is an astronaut who meets his mission controller, Crowley, over the comms system when he finds himself in need of assistance.
Super cool concept and really well-done in my opinion. Like, I don't do any space or physics-related work (ok I straight-up failed math 9) but I find it entirely believable. And it's well-written which is the entire point. Cute, funny slow burn with an intriguing mystery happening in the background.
Aziraphale has family money but a shitty family (except for Muriel! Never Muriel!) and his shitty brother Gabriel is getting married to shitty Michael, an Earl's daughter.
Aziraphale's family disproves of his entire life pretty much and he has been lying to them about having a boyfriend. Now they are expecting him to bring said boyfriend to the wedding. His famous footballer friend sets him up with their mechanic, Crowley.
It starts as a slow-burn but becomes a hilarious, smutty romp that just gets more and more insane. The chapter titles alone have made me cackle out loud.
Some older human AUs I'm a huge fan of include Old Vines by @sevdrag. Crowley owns a vineyard and Aziraphale is a wine critic. It is so amazingly written. It makes me think of the author Joanna Harris (Chocolat, The Five Quarters of the Orange) because it's SO beautifully, vividly descriptive that I end up craaaaaving wine. So have a bottle on hand if you're giving this a read.
Also the love story in this. My god. I devoured it. The story and the (many bottles of) wine.
There is also Loosely Ballroom by marginalia_device and mortifyingideal. It's a Strictly Come Dancing (Dancing with the Stars in North America) AU and it is so. Fucking. Good.
But it comes with a disclaimer. It's unfinished and looks likely to stay that way. But honestly? Still worth it. It's nearly finished (I think) so you have most of the story. And it's just SO good. It's been a while since I read it but it was one of the first human AUs I read and what got me hooked on them.
If you're still with me...nice! Just know that was me holding back and that isn't my entire list by a long shot. If you want more recs, feel free to message me and also share your own!
I just finished Slow Show the actor AU by @mia-ugly and yes please.
Some serious angst, pining and hot hot smut.
There is another long-form multi-chapter actor au I loooved but I can't remember the name for the life of me. Just that the show they were on was basically good omens and that they swapped roles with great success (inspired by the whole Michael thinking Neil wanted him to play Crowley when he wanted Aziraphale thing).
Thanks for the ask! That was really fun!

Good Omens dystopian sci-fi romance, wahoo!
[START HERE]
Tumblr media
SUMMARY
Recent developments suggest sci-fi nerds are really into this fic, which I absolutely love, of course. So, if you’re the kind of person who likes Good Omens, but also dystopian futures and literal tech wizards - as well as sweet romance with a cherry on top - maybe you’ll like this?
And if you read it, let me know, because I love meeting new people who like the same stuff as me❤️ …And attention❤️

This is one of my favorite post-S2 fics. It starts after whatever may be S3, concentrating on A & C packing up their old life to dive into their new one, fully and without reservation. It’s lovely and gentle, full of hope, and feels so authentic. I loved it, and I hope you will too.
Thanks @hasturswig (edited to include the right author)!
“It had always been about choice, that was the thing. They had both chosen to be different, almost from the start. Then there had been the choice to be friends, against all of their supposed conditioning, going against all the tenets they were intended to espouse. Then there had been the partnership—the Arrangement—and all the other ways, large and small, in which they had supported one another. They had chosen the Earth too, in the end, and the people who shared the planet with them. In a way all the choices led them to be much more human than anything else, the choice to express their love physically, in the human way, to make promises to each other just as the humans did. It was liberating, wonderful. It made Crowley want to shout and sing.”

Ok friends, fic rec time!! Idk how much crossover there is in the whole sci-fi nerd/GO fandom, but I’m willing to bet it’s a fair bit. If this is you, boy oh boy do I have a treat in store. If you haven’t read anything by Snae_b on A03, you’re already missing out. The longer fics all have plot and lost have action to spare. The pining and prose are lovely, the smut is excellent, there’s a lot of variety. But Snae has a knack for writing sci-fi with our boys in the thick of it, and they are GOOD at it. World building and history and intrigue. The details bound up in the inherit questions of humanity and morality that good science fiction always has.
Im going to recommend Echo here. The follow up in the same universe is Lunacy many, many years later. Whatever you think is happening in the beginning, you’re going to go “WHAT!?”
I’d follow that up with Tribute and then the WIP Tenderfoot set in the same universe as Tribute. Here’s the link. Enjoy!

Chapter 19 We’ve Got Tonight
New chapter just dropped on Ao3!!!!! Y’all!!!! I am so excited about this chapter! It’s my favorite and the whole reason for writing this fic to begin with! I would love it if you would give it a read and let me know what you think!!
Chapter summary:
The boys celebrate Azirphale's birthday. Aziraphale, is tickled pink. Crowley, is unable to say no to his angel. (Even if he definitely should.)
Chapter Excerpt:
Why do they honk three times?” He asked, curious.
“They’re telling everyone that they are coming home.” Crowley explained.
Aziraphale took another sip of his birthday champagne and looked out at the ships once again. “But why three specifically?”
A small smile appeared at the corner of Crowley’s mouth. Aziraphale knew immediately that he was about to be teased. “Hmm, kinda a love story Angel, not sure you would be interested in that sort of thing.”
Fic Summary:
Based on the 1980's romcom Overboard, Crowley is a carpenter who has a not-so-great first encounter with the rich and snobby Aziraphale Archer.
After Aziraphale falls off of his yacht and loses his memories, Crowley comes up with an epic plan for payback. He will trick Aziraphale into believing he is Crowley's husband and the father of four rambunctious children.
Can Crowley stick to his plan and give Aziraphale the payback he deserves? Or, will he find out that Aziraphale is much more than he first appeared to be?
*It is not necessary to have watched the movie to enjoy this fic!*

Stop what you're doing and go read the wonderful human AU 1 corinthians 13:1-13 by @ffonippop. It is so gorgeous, the characters are so well-drawn and such an interesting blend of canon and non-canon characteristics, and it's so real and emotional and a bit angsty but also happy and hopeful.
Summary:
Restless traveler, Aziraphale Fell, meets settled-down Anthony Crowley in middle-of-nowhere, Texas. Aziraphale goes through life flitting from place to place, never staying long. He runs on the belief that if he’s not going, he’s missing out on something better. Crowley’s life is stationary. He keeps himself rooted with the belief that his life is the best it’s ever going to get, and to go would be to risk that. Aziraphale has to go. Crowley has to stay. They have to take what they can get from each other, and that needs to be enough.

Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. spread the self-love ❤
You Had Me at Halo - E - Anthony Crowley, manager of the trendy queer Nightingale Club in Soho, finds himself inexplicably aroused by the appearance of the pastel-clad angel’s arrival on the dancefloor. It doesn’t take Crowley long to woo the angel and take him upstairs to his office.
Coming Home - E - a choose your own adventure Good Omens fanfic collaboration.
A Chasing of the Wind - T - first fic I wrote for the Minisode Bang, so much research went into it to make it just right.
Christmas Lights - T - First published fic. Fluffy and funny, and I loved writing from Mr Brown's POV. Christmas Lights is on the agenda at the monthly meeting of the Whickber Street Shopkeepers and Traders Association, but it's not the only thing on Mr Brown's, of Brown's World of Carpets, mind...
In the Loop - E - first every smut and I went straight to snex. Never looked back.

So, I thought I had a, however slight, preference for season 3 fics but this month I've not read a single season 3 fic. I started a couple but found that I wasn't in the right mood and I'm keeping them for later. I guess there are phases in life and I must be going through a phase where I need to read things that put a smile on my face and certainty in my heart. I'm in need of fun and trust. I'm in need of comfort and familiarity. And where to better find all those feelings than in the outstanding creativity of the Good Omens fandom?
April's amazing fiction
WIPs:
My Heart Was Always Yours by AddledMongoose.
It's a slightly alternative universe where Aziraphale and Crowley have somehow never met each other until the present day and each thinks the other is a human.
Each of them has been tasked by their respective head offices to retrieve Raphael's trumpet and each of them wants to find and destroy it. The trumpet will be sold on earth at an illegal auction and in order to gain entry to the auction they have to pretend to be married.
This fiction has it all, characters' personalities are spot on, humour, wit, dynamic, romance, everything.
At the beginning you might feel slightly put off by the first person narrative but give it a couple of chapters and it will flow.
You won't regret it!
We have got to that point in the story where the plot is really interesting! This fiction gets better and better! Rated M
The Escort by VinyamaDN
Human AU where Crowley is an escort and meets Azirapahle via his job. This fiction has a deep level of introspection, it can go from very angsty to very funny in a matter of two lines and it's a wonderful journey! Rated E
Whickber Street by Caedmon
Human AU set, yes you guessed it, in Whickber Street. Aziraphale owns a bookshop in Soho and Crowley opens a new comic book and geek shop a few doors down the road. Honestly, how dare he?
Absolutely lovely from-one-sided-enmity-to-(it's-a-WIP-so-we-can't-know-for-sure-but-come-on!)-lovers story! All our favourite side characters are there and everybody's best friends who we've never met in real life Fergus and Ella!
If you're in need of a smile, go and read it! Rated E
Complete works:
Drop By Drop by green_grin.
Alternative universe fiction in which human Aziraphale discovers and accidentally activates some sigils on his bookshop's wall. He meets and gets to know the demon Crowley who can't leave the plane of hell.
This one is angsty, with mentions of depression and self harm but it does have a happy ending. Rated E.
Mon Horrible Chéri by ghostrat.
I do have a soft spot for enemies-to-lovers AU. This one doesn't disappoint one bit. Crowley and Aziraphale teach science and literature in the same high school and they hate each other (aw... how cute are they when they hate each other whilst being attracted to each other?). When Beelzebub is injured just before the school trip to Paris, Aziraphale has to step in to replace them. When he agreed he didn't know that the other teacher accompanying the children was Crowley. Everything you're looking for in a sweet, funny, romantic enemies to lovers fiction ensues. Highly, highly recommended. Rated E.
Warmth by Dannye Chase (HolyCatsAndRabbits), HolyCatsAndRabbits.
Human AU where Aziraphale lives in a small town and one day a mysterious and very handsome man pays a visit to the library where he works. The two men become friends but Aziraphale knows that friendship is all he can hope for. Or is it?
A little angst with a happy ending. Really sweet and heartwarming. Rated E.
Waking Up Slow by the_moonmoth.
Excluding my favourite WIP, this is the best fiction I've read this month. Human AU set in lockdown... in a cottage... aawww. Aziraphale knocks a stranger apparently unconscious and gives him CPR. Only after does he remember he has been exposed to covid. Funny, witty, sweet, hot, this fiction has it all. Rated E.
Series:
Stories To Brighten Up Your Day by HotCrossPigeon.
If you need some lighthearted, incredibly funny and extremely sweet read, this series will do what it says in the title. Your day will brighten up and you'll have a big smile on your face. If you need something to cheer you up, that's for you. Rated Teen and up.
One shots:
Ars Daemonium by ObligateWeirdo.
Crowley is in a grumpy mood. We learn why through his conversation with Aziraphale. This lovely piece gives us hints at how being an immortal being stationed on earth must feel like sometimes. Rated Teen and up.
My own little one shot:
In Vino Ludus
It's the year 2030. Crowley comes to the bookshop drunk. An as of yet canon divergent fluffy night in the life of an angel and a demon. I was struggling with a chapter for a longer fiction and needed a lighthearted, fluff-filled, angst-free break. Rated E

🏳️‍🌈a queer_cheer_engineer fic🏳️‍🌈
Fandom: Good Omens
💚: Aziraphale x Crowley
Summary: Aziraphale shows up at Crowley’s new (old) flat, 4 days after the end of Season 2. A bit of a fix it, written in the way I see them.
Or: a couple of 6,000+ year old virgins being nervous and adorable with each other as they navigate human sex for the first time, all under a pillowy cloud of Aziraphale’s apologies and Crowley’s snark.
Word Count: 5,029
Rated: Explicit

“It’s a bit nice, finding something new on Earth, isn’t it?”
“Nice is not exactly what I would call it,” said Crowley, tightening his grip a little at Aziraphale’s hip.
“No,” said Aziraphale, growing serious. He moved his finger down to trace Crowley’s lips. “I suppose you wouldn’t.”

"Lessons in the Humanities" Chapter Update
Tumblr media
By Monday, they still weren’t speaking. To be perfectly honest, Aziraphale had avoided the teachers’ lounge in the humanities building, refusing even to heat up his leftover casserole, on the off chance that Crowley might be there. Better to eat cold pasta than to face him.
During lunch, Anathema had come to find Aziraphale in his classroom, asking probing questions in that very specific way that always made Aziraphale feel as though she probably knew more than she was letting on, and certainly knew more than she should.
He’d gently shooed the chemistry teacher out the door when she started inquiring whether Crowley had “departed unexpectedly” after an “intense discussion.” He really didn’t need her getting involved in whatever was happening between Crowley and himself, and he was more than a little concerned that speaking about what had transpired the previous Friday would end with him ugly crying onto her shoulder.
And all that begged the question, what was happening between him and Crowley?
Keep reading on ao3...
Annnnnddddd......be sure to catch up on @theangelyouknew's wip, Catch a Falling Star. Chapter 14 is now up!

My first Human AU. Crowley is a karate instructor. Aziraphale is a newish student in the dojo.
Slow burn. mutual pining. Hurt/comfort.
Rated M for now, but I have a feeling these boys are gonna take me someplace E in a later chapter.
