making the lowest budget pride month icon because i don’t feel like drawing anything new and apparently i was dumb and drew this all on one layer-
anyway! happy pride, im aroace and genderfluid
[ID: a very scribbly image of Ingo saying “heck” is layered on top of an aroace flag and the genderfluid flag. There is an uneven white border around the entire ingo image due to the drawing being done directly on a white background. End ID.]

I miss the GQ flag/colors being included in pride posts & art. I use the word nonbinary when it's useful and I do ID as trans but genderqueer is so much More to me and I remember when it was way more common to see it, but now I see more and more posts with collections of flags & pride colors used in things and for gender stuff my options are nonbinary or trans and that's it... like to me nonbinary is an umbrella I accept but not an identity I claim really, & the GQ colors are so good too!!! tbh the nonbinary flag was never as appealing visually to me as the GQ flag/colors are!!! sad :(

went to pride this past weekend with my roommates and it was so obvious that aromantic people weren’t really considered at all. this festival was massive and we walked around for ages but i can count the number of aromantic flags i saw on one hand and i never saw the orange and blue aroace flag that i love. there was a ton of ace stuff but hardly any aro. and it kinda made me sad cause being aro is about the coolest thing about me and i never really noticed how little it got talked about until i started identifying as it this past year. idk it just made me a little sad

[ID: Nine photos of a white hand holding a painted cane at different angles, with white walls and a fake wood floor in the background. The cane is first shown from the side, with the black wrist strap off, then on, then from above at an angle. The cane is then held in the other hand, and shown closer up from the side, at a different angle, and a above, with the wrist strap off. The last three show the wrist strap on, and still in the left hand from multiple angles at close up to show the positions of the fingers. The cane is painted with three pride flags. The first is the progress trans flag with stripes of purple, black, blue, pink, yellow, white, yellow, pink, blue, black, and purple. Then the aroace flag, with stripes of orange, yellow, white, light blue, and dark blue. Finally, a rainbow of brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and black. End ID.]
Some more cane drawing references so you can draw disabled characters better.
More photos at:
Cripplepunk - Offset cane collection on Pexels. is missing some because Pexels is annoying.
Web archive collection
I'd post them all here to tumblr, but tumblr keeps eating them and i don't feel like having to sit here an upload them all one at a time.
You're encouraged to download these if you find them helpful. That's why I'm making them.

[image description: six different cartoon-style bunting graphics, featuring six pride flags hanging from a brown rope. The flags are rectangular, finishing in a chevron shape, and have rows of brown stitching across the top of the flag and along the bottom of the chevron. First image in each set shows the flags with the topmost stripes facing the left; second image shows the three right-hand flags flipped, so all topmost edges face away from the centre of the bunting. First set of banners shows the dark brown/brown/yellow/white/light lime/lime/green allagiromantic flag; second the green/white-grey/black/white-grey/light green with white triangles aroflex flag; third the dark purple/light purple/black/white/black/light green/dark green aro-ace flag..]

Just some Aroace Lloyd things +the Ninja siblings⬇
When Lloyd first came out, Jay and kai showed there support by making cheesy ace & aro puns for a week straight
Lloyd was super nervous to come out to his parents. Misako was cool with it; it was really just a "and water is wet" p2⬇
When he came out to Gramadon after Crystalized he was scared he might actually disown him again (all the big brothers and sisters were ready to commit major violence if that happened) when he finally told Garmadon it went exactly like this⬇
Garmadon: "so what I'm hearing is I won't have to deal with you having any annoying little hybrid offspring?" Lloyd: "...yeah basically... I guess..." Garmadon: ">:) Hahaha! Yes!" Lloyd: "I should probably be offended but that went better than I expected... : |"
Lloyd first learned what ace was from Cole. Zane later helped discover what aro was
Nya gave Lloyd his first pride pins
After talking about his feelings for Harumi, Lloyd what a squish™ was from Cole and had a major "THAT'S A THING!!?!?!" moment
Lloyd has a little aroace flag tied to the pommel of his sword
Whenever Jay finds an ace or aro coded comic or video game character he runs to Lloyd and goes "LOOK!!" and Lloyd always goes :D✨
At one point Lloyd dyed his bangs green and purple, and after everyone saw the all had to do it (Kai dyed all of his hair the colors of the Bi flag bc he wanted to outdo Jay-)
For Lloyd's birthday Pixal made him a custom phone case with a dragon design on it in the colors of the sunset flag
Lloyd and Cole were both heartbroken for a whole week after Kai told them that Cake By The Ocean was a sex reference and not about ACTUAL cake and the ocean
All the Ninja wear pride themed hoods during June. Lloyd has an aro patch on one should, an ace patch one the other and a sunset hood (it's not like any of them are actually stealthy; they're dressed like a literal fruit salad-)
Enjoy!

[ID START: A drawing of Jon Sims and Martin Blackwood from The Magnus Archives. Jon is a short, skinny Bangladeshi person. He is standing with his cane, stimming with one hand, and is smiling widely with his eyes closed. He has many scars and large eye bags. His hair is long and greying, and he has a moustache. He wears sound proof headphones and glasses. His clothes are a jumper with the aroace flag for the torso and the aro and ace flags for each sleeve, and a purple skirt. He is wearing ‘he/him’, bi, transfemme, and xenogender pins. Martin is standing next to him. They are a tall, fat white person. He is holding a sigh that says ‘free parental hugs’, and is looking over at Jon with a smile. They have blue lonely scars around his body, and one green and one grey eye. His hair is to just below his shoulders, and is blonde, greying, with a white streak on his fringe. He has glasses, a daisy earring, and a septum piercing. They wear a brown coat, a jumper with the aroace flag, and grey-blue jeans with leather knee patches. They have ‘he/they’, nonbinary, gay, transmasc, bear, aro, and ace pins. There are hearts between them that are the progress pride flag, the aromantic flag, the asexual flag, the t4t flag, and the queerplatonic flag. ID END.]

More of these!!
Find the rest here: Trans - Genderfluid - Ace Lesbian - AroAce - Bi Pan - NB - Demigirl Bonus: Disability pride
Image description: digital art of magical guardians based off different pride flags. First is a wide light-skinned person based off the genderqueer flag, with short purple hair, a crop top, and baggy green pants. They have a butterfly motif, a bladed staff as a weapon, and they're grinning and making a peace sign. Their hand has two fingers that haven't fully grown.
Next is a light-skinned, fairly slim but top heavy person based off the gay/mlm pride flag. They have shoulder-length teal hair, a lighter teal cape with a heart pin, and a blue skirt. Their weapon is a shield, and they're posing elegantly.
Lastly is a aromantic-themed character of slim build who has brown skin with vitiligo. They have curly brown hair and lacy witch's outfit, with green, white, and black bows on their hat, shoes, and skirt. Their weapon is a broom, and they're smiling, with their tongue sticking out slightly. End description.

On aroace flags...
I want to be very clear, I am not criticizing anyone specific, but rather the current ways of combining the asexual and aromantic flags into a cohesive flag.
But I've had this floating around my head for a while, and I saw a post similar to it today, so I thought I'd throw in my two cents.
Cut because it got long.
In the ace flag, black means asexuality, gray means gray/demi sexual, white is for allosexual allies of asexual people, and purple means community. (I lost the link to the AVEN post, but someone dedicated can find it. Otherwise you can just look up the meanings on the internet to verify).
In the aro flag, the green and light green stripes are for the aromantic spectrum, white is for non-romantic attraction, and black and grey are for the sexuality spectrum. (Post by the creator saying this here: https://www.tumblr.com/cameronwhimsy/102698477928/whoops-yeah-i-just-realised-i-never-actually-made?source=share).
So black, grey, and white all mean different things for each flag, yet in most combination flags, they only appear once. Do they mean what they mean on the aromantic flag or what they mean on the asexual flag?
The light green and green don't have any arbitrary separations for people who do and don't feel romantic attraction, and the grey and black of the aro flag don't have that for sexual attraction either, while the asexual flag does. Cutting out one of the green stripes or moving the black and grey away from each other don't make sense in the context of the aromantic flag.
I've also seen some that add an extra purple stripe. It doesn't mean anything, it's just aesthetic.
Whether or not you like the sunset aroace flag, it is a good example to look at when trying to create a flag to represent aroace people. It keeps the association with asexuality and aromanticism, without using the original colors in ways that don't quite fit. (Color meaning breakdown by the creator here: https://aroaesflags.tumblr.com/post/181034758671/revised-aroace-flag-after-some-conversation-among).
The whole point of having pride flags is to have a meaningful symbol to represent our communities. For aroace people, mashing two together keeps the association with asexuality and aromanticism, but loses the deeper meaning behind each flag.
Honestly, as an aroace person, I think the only way to really design an aroace flag is to depart from the imagery of either flag. That ensures the meanings are solid, and it ensures no one in accidentally excluded (which is, to my understanding, why the sunset flag was created originally - to have a community symbol that included the whole community inherently). But I understand not everyone shares the sentiment.
So, from one aroace person to another, if you are going to design an aroace flag that's based on the ace and aro flags, please keep in mind what those colors mean in the context of each flag, and don't put them in just to have them. And be sure that your design properly includes everyone you are trying to represent.

Tbh I think most pride flags are kinda… meh. I like the original 8, 6, 7, and the 9 stripe, but that's because it's literally just a rainbow, and it's a nice accent to things. But anything beyond that? Bi flag feels a mess, the purple is dreadful. Pan is too intense, and I don't like that it looks like an ice cream flavour that probably tastes of chemicals. The lesbian and gay pride flags feel too "gendered" with "Pink is for girls, blue for boys" while also just feeling kinda uninspired. The trans flag has a bit of the same issue, and feels like gender reveal flag and almost a bit childish. NB and some of the other trans/not-cis flags just look kinda haphazard. The AroAce flags just look a bit sad, and the toxic green is a meh at best. The intersex flag is also too intense, and while it's nice that a flag doesn't just rely on stripes, the color combo still looks ugly.
I'm def someone who's a bit negative, and I know some ppl really really love them, but all that has always been the reason why I never bother with pride merch outside a 6-stripe rainbow flag I got for free, and a 6-stripe ribbon I also got for free. Only time I can vaguely tolerate the colors is when people do art using the colors, but often they actually adjust the saturation and make the colors work together instead of just forcing together tones that don't wanna fit together.
--
The only one I rather like is the leather pride flag.
